Mobile Fighters across the system reunite here on Earth to give everything they can to become the new champion as the Gundam of Gundam! The rules are the same as in previous iterations: the win condition is destroy the head of the opponent unit, aim to the cockpit is forg-"
The old man shuts down the TV, irritated with the laziness of his employees. -"What did I tell to y'all!? Don't watch the TV until you finish the work!" replied the chief.The four young men were bummed by the stubborness of the man, he is usually very calm but he doesn't tolerate sloths. The bigger of them scratches his hair while standing up, cleaning a little his pants in the process.-"Hey, hey Nadi man, we weren't slacking! In fact, we already finished our work so there is no problem if we just enjoy a little the show right?" replied the guy with his usual laidback actitude.-"Are you sure Norba? Then why those 3 Mobile Workers are still unoperative!?"Shino Norba gulped, he didn't supposed that the old Nadi would check all the machinery; he thinked in a new excuse for some seconds but in the end he just sighed and shrugged.-"Okay okay, let's go guys, time to finish the work so we'll continue the Gundam Fight later!" Shino and the other 3 kids moved to work while Nadi stared to them leaving, sighing for the exhaustation of raising his voice; he doesn't like to yell at the kids but he knows that sometimes is the only way to make them move their butts.
Meanwhile in Rome, a group of persons stares at the giant "cocoon" that landed in the middle of the streets. The police officers mantained the population far of the object that everyone knew that it was the container of one of the Mobile Fighters's Gundams for the tournament...
The officer in charge approached to the object, looking at it with disgust. He waits to look for the owner of the machine to settle thing with them, but for now all he can do is watch over it and don't let to the rest of civilians to get harmed in the process.The officer lights his cigarrete while looking at his surrounders, the city isn't as dirty and destroyed as it was in the past, but the reconstruction was in the lower priority of the higher ups so there it still were vestiges of the discrimination between the commoners and those in the power; and the fact that a "sport" that creates more chaos in their homes gets so much budget to restorate an area ten times bigger than the city that millenia ago was the cradle of mankind... -"Sir, we localized the owner of the Gundam." replied one of the agents who handled to the chief a recording from a security camera of a bar.The recording starts with a group of bandits assaulting the bar looking for money and taking a kid as a hostage, minutes after a japanese man with a red bandana in his head enters to the local without caring too much about the situation.-"It's him?" asked the chief while pausing the video, for the moment is hard to identify his face.-"Yeah it's him, watch the rest of the recording."The chief reanudes the video, the bandits starts to molest the man of the bandana asking him for money; the man ignored the bandits until one of them menaced to shot him. Inmediatly the man reacts fighting the bandits with his bare hands, knocking most of them except of the one who was in charge of the child who runned away.-"Tch." the chief wasn't amusing about the situation. "Where is him now? And what about the bandit?"-"It looks that he is heading to the Coliseum chasing the bandit, is likely that the culprit is part of the Chariot's crew.-"Damn it. That piece of trash..." Michelo Chariot was the Mobile Fighter of Neo Italy, note that Italy and Neo Italy aren't considered a same nation since some time ago but the Neo Colonies had privileges to use the Earth ground for the Gundam Fight thanks to the Benerit Group. Michelo much like other citziens of the Neo Colonies doesn't care about the Earth and only see it as a big enough playground to use and extract resources; that actitude made the chief sick but he wasn't able to even touch Michelo or he would be the one paying the consequences. -"I'll go."-"Sorry?" questioned the officer.-"I'll go to the Coliseum, alone; I will not involve all you on this, just secure the Gundam and don't let that japanese ride that thing." proclaimed the chief, quickly running to his destination without giving a chance to his subordinate to refute. The coliseum wasn't too far thankfully, but the japanese was there already. The man of the red bandana yelled loud in the center of the coliseum. -"MICHELO CHARIOT FROM NEO ITALY, I CHALLENGE YOU TO THE GUNDAM FIGHT!"-"Hm? What makes you think that I'll accept that?" asked a smug voice in the shadows while laughing.-"You are sponsored by Neo Italy, they wouldn't cover you forever if you don't give them results." replied the japanese, confident about his strength.-"STOP RIGHT THERE YOU TWO!" The chief reveals himself and runs in front of the japanese man with a gun at hand. The japanese is taken by surprise but stands inmobile in the same place. -"I will not let you fight here, stop using our city for your stupid shows!" replied the officer angry while looking in the shadows to find Michelo.-"Hahaha! So the police came, are you here for the girl? Then give me the head of that man's Gundam!" When Chariot said those words, the little girl appeared hanging tied from a rope, withthe rope being hold by a robotic arm; it was the Gundam of Neo Italy, the Neros Gundam! When he finally revealed himself, the japanese man jumped back of the chief to have space and yelled at the top of his lung.
-"RISE! SHINING GUNDAM!"
In the streets, where the Gundam's carcase resided, a woman using a pink dress appeared in front of the officers telling them to step aside of the machine. -"You guys better move, don't want to get hurt right?"-"Are you the owner of this Gundam, lady?" one of the officers pointed her with a gun menacing her to tell all what she news about it, but then he is distracted by a tremor. It was the Gundam who is starting to move opening the protection unit.-"MOVE!" the woman exclaimed to the officer, jumping to him to push him far of the machine, just in time when the Gundam revealed completely, flying to the Coliseum. The officer was confused of what happened just a little ago, and when he tried to go back to interrogate the lady, she already had leaven the zone; did she piloted the Gundam? or it was something else? The man was exhausted of what just happened to even think in a solution so he just stared to the sky waiting for orders. Meanwhile in the Coliseum, the officer was pointing the japanese menacing him to don't start his fight. -"I said you two will stop, I'll not let to any to destroy MY city more!" the chief pointed right at the head of the japanese ready to pull the trigger, waiting for his answer. "Do you not care about the safety of that little girl!?"-"No I don't care." responded the japanese quietly without stutter.-"W-wha-"-"I'm only here to win the Gundam Fight and take revenge of the man who killed my mother and put my dad in danger, so step aside, now." -"Y-you little brat-" The chief shot at the japanese trying to stop him to fight, but before the bullet reached him, a giant punch stopped the projectile. It was the Gundam of the representative of Neo Japan, the Shining Gundam! That machine was very impressive, and its reputation preceded it, something that Michelo quickly noticed. -"W-wait, that means, you are the King of Hearts Domon Kasshu!?" the unusual change of tone of Michelo wasn't unnoticed by the chief who didn't knew who was this Domon Kasshu but he supposed it was strong. But before advancing further he noticed that the surprise made Michelo drop the rope that hanged the little girl. He wasn't fast enough to catch her fearing that the worst happens but in a blink she was catched by another giant arm. This time the one of that man who before had menaced to kill, the hand of Domon Kasshu and the Shining Gundam. Domon put the girl at the arms of the chief quietly before standing up. -"So you did care about the life of that brat? What a fool you are!" exclaimed Michelo who wanted to use the opportunity to shot at the head of the Shining Gundam, but Domon quickly avoided the shot and jumped at the top of the coliseum.-"Michelo Chairot, with that attack you have agreed to fight me in a Gundam Fight, so prepare yourself!" replied Domon in confidence, the chief on the other hand stared at the white machine with hate, but he knew that the life of the little girl is more important than his personal grudges so he moved outside the Coliseum. Meanwhile Chariot wasn't amused with the way Domon played with him.-"Great! You want a fight? Then let's fight but I'll tell you that I will be the winner of this Gundam Fight!" with that response of Michelo, the fight was setted, multiple drones started to appear around the Coliseum to broadcast what it would be the start of the most awaited tournament in the whole system; with that both fighters yelled their oath. -"GUNDAM FIGHT!"
-"READY!?"
-"GO!"
Both Gundams approached each other to fight, the Shining Gundam used graceful martial art moves trying to land a punch to the Neros Gundam, but the black machine covered himself with his arms armed with spikes not allowing Domon to properly punch him. Domon jumped above the Neros Gundam thinking to attack him from above but his opponent yelled amused.-"Not so fast dumbass! SILVER FEET!"The Neros Gundam opened the compartments inside his legs, revealing multiple cannons that fired a concentrated wavebeam to Domon, he wasn't able to dodge but thankfully the Shining Gundam was protected with beam coating in his arms, reflecting the beams to the surrounder areas. He had enough of this joke.-"Michelo Chairot, is time to settle this!"Domon's anger charged the Shining Gundam who started to open multiple vents across his body to release heat giving to him a more menacing appearence. Michelo started to charge his own move too.-"This hand of mine glows with an AWESOME POWER!"-"Shut up! I'm going to defeat you, Domon Kasshu!" Michelo charged the power of the cannons around his feet running to his opponent.-"It's burning grip tells me to defeat YOU!"-"SHUT UP, SPECTRAL BEAM KICK!" Michelo fired a wave of multicolor energy to Domon, an attack that he thought it will defeat him, but...-"HERE I GO! SHINING FINGER!!!" The right hand of the Shining Gundam covers into a green energy and charges towards Neros Gundam, repelling the Spectral Beam Kick with ease. Domon activates the thrusters of the Shining Gundam to lashout against Michelo, grabbing the head of the Neros. -"Before finishing this, I have a question to you."-"Gh-uh?" Michelo exclaimed while trying to not dismay at the pain of feel how his head is crushed by the hand of Domon.-"I will send you a photo to you, do you recognize this man?"Domon shared to the screen of the opponent a photo of a young brunette man with what it seems a kid above his shoulders, the photo was cut it half so it was difficult to recognize the rest.-"Don't mess with me stupid assho!-"-"So that means that you don't know anything, what a bummer...HEAT END!" after exclaim his discomfort to the answer of his opponent, he continued to finish him releasing the energy in his hand to explode the head of the Neros Gundam, becoming him the winner of the fight. Fireworks were fired by the drones, proclaiming Domon Kasshu victorious, he doesn't seem to care too much about the show thought, instead he leaves his Gundam and approaches the chief; but for his surprise, the chief had company: other two boys and a young lady in a pink dress. -"Rain! What are you doing here?" asked Domon to the lady, confirming that they both knew each other.-"Domon! You shouldn't mess with the police you know? And the man is right that girl could have been in danger!" reclaimed the woman irritated, but quickly sighing in relief that his partner is safe.Domon didn't answered that, instead he just stared at the chief while showing a copy of the same photo that he showed to the officer.-"Have you seen this man?" he asked blunty.-"Uh? Uhmm, no. I haven't see this guy, but I wanted to thank you for save this girl, sorry for-" the man seemed quite molested by the fact that he required to thank to a person like him, one of those participants of the Gundam Fight, but Domon quickly interrupted him.-"Then I don't care for the rest, let's go Rain, we are leaving."-"W-wait Domon!"Rain was going to run to not miss the trace of her partner again, but the little kids took her hand.-"Thanks mistress! You helped us to find Sofia!" responded with gratitude the bigger one. -"Yeah! We were worried when those bad guys took her!" said the other.-"Don't worry, I'm glad that she is safe too, you three should be more careful thought, don't separate okay?"-"Like you with the bandana man?" said Sofia, the little girl still at the arms of the chief that just regained consciousness.-"Yeah like me and the band-DOMON WAIT!"Rain ran as fast as she can again to find Domon while the kids and the chief looked for Sofia; the chief made a call to arrest Michelo now that he lost, losing all his privileges from Neo Italy, he was relieved at least that the japanese reduced the potential destruction of the city and that he eliminated that jerk quickly, he just hoped that this will be the last time he has problems with him. Rain catched Domon near the exit of the city, surprisingly Domon was quiet standing up looking at something in a local, wondering what he was looking she approached. It was a TV showing the news informing about the events surrounding one of the Orbital Elevators, the machines that provided a connection between Earth and Space as well as providing the Earth of Solar Energy; there it was recently an intent to attack the Orbital Elevator in Africa but their intentions were stopped by Celestial Beings, a rogue paramilitary organization that appeared last year, what it catched the attention of Domon however was the machine that seem to be part of this organization: a sleek humanoid figure of white, blue and green floating ominously; a Gundam.Continue in the next chapter: Celestial Being.
