"Oh, Marinette! This was such a lovely idea." Rose cheers, wandering around Marinette's room. Marinette smiles at seeing how happy Rose is, "I'm really glad you think so too. I just thought it would be nice for us to hang out for once, we don't really get to see each other much beyond at school and events or group hangouts and I've hung out with the other girls one on one before. I figured it wouldn't be fair if me and you never got a chance to too," she says. Rose smiles brilliantly at Marinette. Roses energy is so bright that it almost hurts to look at, but Marinette would gladly bear the pain to witness her joy. Rose's smile fades as she notices the scraps of the doll house in the corner of the room near the closet. Marinette wonders why Rose has suddenly gone silent before her eyes fall upon the remains as well. Marinette cringes slightly wishing she had properly done away with it rather than hold onto it. Rose sighs slightly, "We really are sorry that we pushed you so hard that day Marinette." "I know you guys didn't mean any harm please don't worry about it still Rose, I was just in a bad place at the time and really needed some space." "I know Marinette and we should've been able to see that. Especially how stressed you were becoming when we kept pushing you, and then we even got akumatized over it too and caused you even more trouble," Rose sniffs tearfully, raising her hands to her face. Marinette gently walks over to Rose and takes her hands into her own. She bumps nudges her slightly as she says, "I appreciate that you we're all on the same page now, so you really don't need to worry about it anymore. I'm sorry too, that I was so harsh on you guys that day." Rose smiles at Marinette's attempt to cheer her up by sharing the blame. "It's alright Marinette, if you can forgive us then we absolutely should forgive you too." "Let me put this away so we can all put this past us. Someday I'll probably reuse these parts anyway," she says, opening her closet and putting the doll house pieces into it. As Marinette moves things around in her closet, however, a black umbrella falls over out of her line of sight. Rose looks over at the sound of something falling, and her eyes widen at the sight of the out of place umbrella. "What's this Marinette?" "What's what?" she says turning around before blushing brightly at what Rose is holding, "Oh! That!" Rose smiles at seeing Marinette's reaction, "Trying around with some new styles?" she asks. "Actually… I got that from Adrien," hedges Marinette. Rose's smile slowly fades, "Oh yes, that would make sense, I was wondering why it seemed out of place in your room. I bet you you must have thought it was really sweet of him." "I mean! It was kind of him to lend me his umbrella especially after our misunderstanding, and while it felt like a big deal at the time, I honestly completely forgot about having it," she says walking over to Rose to take the umbrella. "Oh, you don't need to pretend like that, Marinette, we all know how in love you are with him, it must have been an amazing moment," Rose sighs, longingly. Marinette cringes. "Actually, I've kind of been trying to forget about all of that," she says reaching for the umbrella in Rose's hands. Rose backs up slightly in shock, "What!? Why!? You two would be so good together, and you were so in love?" Marinette sighs, "You saw how things turned out between me and Luka, Rose, and with all the stuff I've had on my plate lately, I just thinks boys aren't really on the table anymore…" she says despairingly. "I guess love might really not be in the cards for me.""Don't say that! Everyone deserves to have love regardless of what's going on in their lives," Rose chastises. She pauses for a moment, gathering her courage, "A-and besides! If boys aren't on the table…" Marinette looks up at her at her questioningly noticing her pause. Rose forges onwards before she can be interrupted and lose her steam, "If boys aren't on the table!" She gets quieter, "That still leaves girls…" Marinette flushes slightly at the possible implication. "I mean, your right that I haven't tried romance with any girls yet so far, but it's not as though I've had any potential suitors popping up from that camp either." Rose straightens her back as she walks toward Marinette and grasps her hand, gently fitting the umbrella into it. Marinette's jaw drops slightly as she gapes at her. "Well," she pauses, "if you would be willing to try…" she trails off. Marinette blushes deeply as she begins to stammer. Rose gradually gets shyer, "I mean, I know this is sudden, so I understand if you need some time to think about it, but, I wanted to let you know. I just hope that I haven't screwed up our friendship with this." "I-I m-mean, I, I truly am flattered," Marinette assures her, "But I think I need some time to think about this more." Rose nods, "I understand, I'll go now to give you some space." However As Rose turns around, Marinette quickly drops the umbrella as she reaches for Roses hand. Rose pauses, slightly confused. "You don't have to go, we can still hang out Rose, this absolutely doesn't screw up our friendship at all," Marinette assures her, grasping Rose's hand in between hers. Roses brightens, and energetically turns around and throws her arms around Marinette. Marinette blushes suddenly at the unexpected affection as she returns the embrace. "I'm so glad," whispers Rose. Marinette's heart flutters at Roses breath against her ear. She thinks on her next words as they separate. "I know I said I needed some time, and I did mean it I'd really like to think on it and discuss it more with you, but," Marinette pauses. Rose waits anxiously for her to continue. "I think I would like to try," Marinette shyly finishes. Rose smiles widely at her. Marinette smiles timidly back. Rose suddenly squeals before tackle hugging her again. Marinette laughs as she tightly squeezes her in return. "Oh I'm so happy!" Rose cheers. Marinette laughs, blushing and smiling, and says, "You were right Rose, this was such a lovely idea indeed."
