Patton: Patton has viable traits when he experiences strong emotions- “White as a ghost” skin turns white - shock, extreme fear, or surprise - “Glowing” Glowing lightly yellow - excited, overjoyed - “Seeing red” red eyes, Patton can only see the color red - anger, wrath- “Carrying a weight” slows down, slouching, heavier steps - guilt, stress (could fall over and would be too heavy for anyone to pull him up)- “Hearts in his eyes” pupils turn into hearts - love, lust - “Green with Envy” skin turns green - jealousy “Bottle Up Emotions: I had two versions of this - Patton gets put into a life-size bottleor- Patton creates bottles for each emotion, filling up the more he feeds it. Which could eventually cause it to pop and him to explode “Bleeding heart” causes a bad nosebleed when Thomas feels sympathetic. It doesn’t stop until Thomas focuses’ on something else. Doesn’t hurt. Will pass out if it goes on for too long (Has a habit of letting it go on for too long)“Heartbroken” gets cracks over his body, and he feels weak. His body becomes like glass and, if broken, is just a dark void. No blood or guts ;) It happens when he or Thomas is heartbroken. Patton can’t use anything that’s broken off. If he is shattered completely, he becomes a ghost. No one can see or hear him, but he still affects Thomas. He will reform once they feel better. “Heart Attack” freezes like a statue for a minute. He can still use his senses, but panic might keep him from fully understanding what happened.“Heartburn” feels like he’s burning from the inside. It’s pretty much the opposite of Logan’s Brain Freeze. Lasts as long as Thomas’ heartburn. It is excruciating, and sometimes he breathes fire.“Heartache,” his body becomes exceptionally sore. Janus:“Skeleton in the closet” Gets skeletons in his closet of the sides that he has guilt or unfinished business with. The skeletons will have something that allows Janus to know who they belong to. Mostly clothing. They are animated and act like Janus believes the side feels about Janus. It goes away once the situation is resolved. “Cat got your tongue” gets a nasty case of the hiccups when he doesn’t know what to say. Logan:“Brain fog” eyes haze over like a gray fog, is caused by lack of sleep, overworking, and stress. Leaves Logan: - Dizzy- Confused- Slow processing - He has a hard time remembering what he’s thinking aboutIt usually happens late at night. I also thought it would be funny if it happened right after he wakes up, as if he’s still booting up. “Brain freeze,” Logan becomes frozen solid. He defrosts once the brain freeze is over. It leaves him still feeling cold for a while. Patton makes him hot chocolate. “Mind blown,” he implodes and appears back in his room, coughing smoke. This doesn’t cause him any pain, but he does look like a cartoon.“Throwing logic out the window” gets thrown out the nearest window and can’t come back in until logic is used again, which happens when Thomas gets too emotional. Outside the house is the subscape. Theoretically, if he’s out there long enough, he would fade, but that has yet to happen. (The closest thing was him falling asleep) “Logic error” glitches out when he hears a paradox and gives him a headache afterward that worsens the more he glitches. “Glitching out” implies spastic movements/twitching, eyes looking like a Windows error screen, and repeating the last thing he said before the glitching started. "Goes over his head" in Logan's room, thoughts appear as paper, and if something "goes over Thomas' head," that paper is a paper plane that flies too high for him to reach and then flies out the window, going into the subconscious. "Mind-Numbing" Logan's body gets very numb, as if his entire body fell asleep. You know that feeling like you're getting stabbed with a hundred tiny needles. Roman:“Bruised ego” gets bruises if his or Thomas’ ego is hurt. It gets worse the longer Roman beats himself up. He gets stuck in a spiral and is always active, meaning he can have minor soreness to internal bleeding at any time. “Creative block,” he gets trapped in a small transparent box that he can’t escape from, and no one can hear him. It doesn’t stop until he either gives up on doing something or figures it out. Roman is stubborn and doesn’t want to give up. The longer it goes on, the smaller the box gets. The box won’t crush him, but it still hurts after a while.“Burnout” Doesn’t have the energy to summon things when he or Thomas is stressed out. Burnout is caused by excessive and prolonged stress. It occurs when you feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, and unable to meet constant demands. “Lovesick” gets lovesick when Thomas starts getting a crush. He becomes easily insecure about how the other person would think of him. It also causes: - Insomnia, restlessness- loss of appetite, - racing pulse, pounding heart, or unusually rapid breathing when thinking about the person- can’t stop thinking about the person“Fired up!” when Roman gets really excited and “pumped up,” he bursts into flames. Unlike Patton’s heartburn, this fire doesn’t hurt Roman, but could damage objects and the other sides."Blind passion" (the lack of awareness of how your actions impact your surroundings and others.) Blind Roman, anyone? :) Maybe when he's really in the zone, he becomes blind to everything around him? Like his social awareness goes out the window. Someone is trying to talk to him and he is just incapable of hearing them. He runs into someone because he can't see them but apologizes anyway because he's vaguely aware that he ran into someone. Virgil:“Butterflies in your stomach,” he coughs up butterflies. Butterflies eventually disappear (Or Virgil feeds them to his spiders). Doesn’t hurt him, just annoying. His eyeshadow turns a bright, sparkly purple”Eyes on the back of your head,” Virgil can grow more sets of eyes so he can see all around him. "Jump out of your skin," I'm not too sure what to do with this, but I feel like there is some potential for this. But I don't want it to be like, all of his skin falls off because that's really gross. Remus “Lost train of thought” forgets where he is for a minute when he forgets what he’s talking about. It happens so often that he’s not bothered by it. “Mind Blank” Can’t summon anything when he can’t think straight. Usual also follows up with a lost train of thought, making Remus very confused and useless. It happens when really tired around the time Logan gets brain fog.“Lost your mind” goes more insane when he’s overwhelmed. This usually causes the other idioms to flare up as well. Roman, Logan, and Remus:"Brainstorm" during a brainstorming session, depending on what is being made, paper thoughts will rain down in either Roman, Remus, or Logan's room. Because of this, they can't brainstorm in their rooms without the risk of getting buried in ideas and receiving paper cuts from the flying papers. Logan and Remus: "Lose your marbles" Logan and Remus have a jar of marbles. If the marbles get lost or misplaced, Logan and Remus go insane. Remus loses his marbles a lot and sometimes throws them out for the fun of it, causing Janus to run around trying to find them all so Remus will calm down. Logan takes better care of his marbles, not wanting to go insane.
