Loki hated children.Loki felt suddenly disgusted as he sat in the rocking chair in the small garden at the back of the house he had bought in Midgard years ago. It was a not-too-big, cozy house that was located in a small gated community that prided itself on peace and quiet - or at least that's how it had been introduced to him years ago. Now, however, instead of resting in pleasant silence, he heard children's squeals and giggling from the neighboring yards. An irritated frown appeared on his forehead, it made him hate summer even more. Not only was the sun burning his pale skin unpleasantly, but his head was hurting because of the Midgard children who had no school for several weeks a year.Sometimes he dreamed of returning to Asgard, to its cold and silent chamber where he could spend whole days and nights, reading books and resting.Loki thought children were just a problem. It was dirty and noisy, and their hands were always sticky for no explanation or known reason. They were constantly drawn to people, needed constant attention, and did not know the term "personal space". Additionally, their crying, which was used to force the most stupid pleasures, caused magic to surround Loki, wanting to explode with anger. In fact, Loki loved children, but still, many people who remembered his mistakes did not want to look at him as an ordinary person and only saw him as a cursed god from another planet.Loki loved children; he loved it when his sons would run up to him, giggling loudly and hiding behind his legs as their father looked for them while playing hide and seek. He loved it when boys jumped at him and climbed on him, pulling his clothes just to be picked up and hugged. He loved being woken up by knees and fingers digging into him because his dad had given him the task of waking him up for breakfast. He loved letting the boys sleep in his bed as they squeezed uncomfortably between him and Mobius. He loved them and always laughed when they made sounds of disgust when he leaned in to kiss their dad.He also loved it when they called him Papa.Loki still remembered the day when the children asked his permission to call him "Papa" and introduce him to their friends as their second parent. Loki remembered his loud cries and the warm hugs of his little new family as they comforted him.He remembered every day spent with them.Even though he was from another world, he felt that his place from the beginning was on Earth with Mobius and their two sons.
