It was morning. Saki met with Honami and Ichika and they waited for Shiho."SHIHO!!! YOU'RE FINALLY HERE!! WE HAVE GREAT NEWS!" Saki said. She was clearly excited, so it must be good. But, Honami and Ichika didn't really look too enthusiastic. "WE'RE GOING TO IOWA!!!""...Iowa?""Yes! Iowa! I already have the plane tickets and all the plans made! We're going in November and we'll be staying for a week!""Why? And Iowa?""I've heard it's nice in the fall. And I told Shizuku! She's coming too!""SHE IS?!?!"The four walked to Miya together. Saki, not noticing the indifferent attitudes, continued rambling about her plans for the Iowa trip. It was in seven months, so it was a bit early to be thinking of that.Shiho entered the classroom and was greeted by Minori and Kohane."Shiho! Guess what! I'm going to Iowa this November!""Oh, Minori, you too?""Haruka's going! Ah, I just love Haruka."Everyone's strange obsession with Iowa was infuriating. Shiho wanted to shout, but she managed to stay calm. Words of the US state persisted throughout the day. Emu Otori said some things about her vacation plans as she ran down the hall. It turns out Tsukasa invited her on the trip and she'l be paying for herself and the other members of their troupe. Mafuyu briefly mentioned it in a conversation with Ichika. Everywhere, it was just Iowa. And only ten students (Ichika, Saki, Honami, Shiho, Minori, Haruka, Airi, Shizuku, Kohane, Emu, and Mafuyu) had plans to go to Iowa. The other students probably heard that Haruka planned on travel, so that could explain why it's everyone's new favorite conversation topic.It was lunchtime at Kamiyama. Akito just received a text from his dad."Toya! My dad just won a giveaway! Seven plane tickets for a trip to Iowa, hotel included! I'm not letting Ena go, so I have to give these away quickly." "Oh, that's interesting." Toya smiled in response."So, would you like to come with me? I'm going to give one to An and Azusawa at practice later. I just need you and a fourth person and then there will be nothing left for Ena!""Tsukasa's parents already scheduled a trip and they were kind enough to bring me along. It looks like we'll be visiting Iowa at the same time!""So, who is supposed to take this ticket?""I guess you can give them to your sister.""NO!!!!"Later that day, Vivid Bad Squad met at a park."An! Azusawa! We're going to Iowa this November!" Akito announced, then silently added, "please don't decline, please don't decline, please don't decline."An considered it, but didn't look too interested."Sorry Shinonome, my parents have already scheduled their own trip a while ago." Kohane answered, "November 16th to the 23rd.""I can go!" An immediately changed her mind upon hearing Kohane's response."So, Ena is going and she'll bring TWO people?!" The Waffle House Sekai is an exact copy of a Waffle House in Iowa, existing in an alternate dimension. In this dimension, we know of the Waffle House and a small town nearby. The edge is a wall of black fog, which is probably the void. Sometimes, Entity 3 emerges from the floorboards, dragging customers and trapping them in this alternate dimension, forever. In the Waffle House Sekai, time flows strangely and there are many strange creatures. They are a part of the natural ecosystem. Be aware of hostile entities, especially those classes 3 and above. Tsukasa was walking to their location.Perhaps it was through the power of the great goddess Hatsune Miku (/ref to my unnamed wd AU), but for some strange reason, everyone was eating at the same Waffle House. November 16th, the day some are never to be seen again.Ichika was enjoying her meal, not noticing the tug on her foot. The rest of her bandmates left for the restroom, so she was alone at the table. Unbeknownst to her, Entity 3 was about to strike. It pulled her in and she left the real world before she could even scream.The Floorboard Man made its way around the Waffle House, with the last stop being with Mizuki and Ena.Everyone woke up in a parking lot. Their eyes reopened. Where were they?"Oh! Fuckass! Look!" A waitress, existing the Waffle House, walked towards them."My name is FUKASE!! FOO. KA. SAY." The chef replied, "It's been... Wait, how long has this Sekai existed?""NEW CUSTOMERS!!" Miku ignored his complaint. "Come in! Come in! Here, we have so many empty seats! I'm sure our regulars would love to meet you! Here, take a menu! I recommend the frogot! Oh! And I'll be your waitress!""Great! I'll have that! And how about some pancakes?" Akito, not even fazed, said."Of course!" Everyone, still a bit confused, got to their seats. Akito took his first bite of frogot and spat it out with disgust."What is this?!" He exclaimed."Ah, this is an unusual reaction." A person said. They had muted purple hair and wore glasses. "Who are you?""Snackbar, the mage. I come here quite often. Well, it's not like there's anywhere else to go.""Is the food usually this bad? What's even in this shit?""Oh, that's simple. Potatoes, sugar, yogurt, liver, and an eyeball," they said, glaring at Akito. They were clearly insulted."WHAT?! WHO WAS CRAZY ENOUGH TO INVENT THIS!""Me." Snackbar responded with a grin and summoned their weapons.
