“Shiro, could you please come to my office for a moment? I need to discuss something important with you.” Jumin was tired as he rubbed the bridge of his nose. “I know you’re busy with the inn, but this is something that specifically needs your attention.” He hoped she’d finally be able to listen and finalize the decisions that needed her input.”Shiro breezily walked into his office, “I’d rather do the mattress mambo with you.”Jumin groaned as he tried not to roll his eyes at her, his face starting to become rosy at her remark. “This isn’t the time for that. This is serious, there are things we need to discuss.”Shiro pouted at him. “Can I at least get a super nice kiss from you first?”Jumin let out a soft amused sigh, before standing up to walk towards her. He looked down at Shiro as she patiently looked up at him. “Fine.” He pulled her into his arms and gave her a slightly deep kiss, quickly pulling away before she could get any ideas. “Now come.”Shiro was lost in a momentary cloud of bliss sighing contentedly before she rushed after him to take a hold of his hand.Jumin squeezed her hand softly. His face slightly flush from kissing her just now. He brought her to the lounge chair in his office sitting her down. She kept his hand in hers, Jumin found it cute that she had a slight obsession with always having some kind of physical contact with him. Jumin smiled as his free hand went up to run his fingers through her hair and then caressing her cheek. His charcoal gray eyes met her soft blues. “I don’t want to sound rude, but this is a serious moment. Could you please try to stay serious, my love?”Shiro nodded with a smile. “Of course, it’s just… I like being able to hold your hand. It’s comforting.”Jumin smiled at her remark, he could understand, there were times he felt the same, her direct honesty made her rather adorable in his eyes. He gave her hand a slight squeeze, taking a deep breath and trying to remain serious despite how cute she was being right now. Jumin cleared his throat. “I’m glad holding my hand gives you comfort, but as I said we do need to speak about something serious.”Shiro took on a look of serious determination, “Alright! I’m totally ready to be serious!”She still didn’t let go of Jumin’s hand.Jumin sighed and decided to just go along with it, if he kept pushing her, Jumin was sure that she’d do something even more adorable to weaken his resolve. He sat up a bit straighter next to her, “The reason why I called you over is because I wanted to talk about the plans for our wedding. We’re close to finalizing the date are we not?” He looked at her in askance.Shiro frowned, slightly hesitating. “I’m really adverse to a big wedding… I don’t like having so much attention by so many people… I’d rather it be an intimate affair with just family and close friends…”Jumin was silent for a moment; while he wanted to throw the wedding of the century to show off how much he loved his bride, but he also understood Shiro hated attention. “Then… How many people do you feel would be appropriate.” This was important.She blinked at his query in slight confusion. “I don’t really have any family or close friends. I think it would really be up to you to decide on who’s important enough to attend our wedding. After all, it’s ours, not just mine.”“Fair enough, then other than my family and a few close business partners; I’d like to have the RFA members be present if that’s fine with you.” He wanted to make sure it was a wedding she would be happy with, but she hadn’t really given much specific input since they had started planning.Shiro nodded, “Of course!” She nuzzled against his side. “I just really want the wedding to be special to us without making it into some kind of show.”He smiled, his face flushed with pleasure at her intimate gesture. Jumin still couldn’t seem to completely get used to her casual intimacy when they were together. “Alright, we’ll try to keep the wedding as intimate as possible. No large event. Let us simply enjoy this as a special milestone for the both of us.” He wrapped his arms around her in a loose embrace. “You really don’t know how much this means to me, to have my sweet girlfriend finally become my sweet wife.” Jumin relished these warm moments between them, just sharing this closeness with someone he truly loved was a balm to his soul.“I wish we could just always be physically together all the time. Just spending time with you. Holding your hand like this. Just being close makes me feel like I’m being soaked in a tub of bubbling happiness.” Shiro leaned into him contentedly.Jumin couldn’t help the slight quickening of his heartbeat at her words. She always knew the cutest things to say to make him feel slightly flustered when they were simply being close and holding hands. “You do know you’re quite adorable, don’t you darling?” He asked playfully.She shrugged, “I just love you, Jumin. Very much.” He would never tire of hearing her telling him she loved him. “I love you too, Shiro. Very much so.”“It’s like, this feeling of overwhelming happiness like I’m floating.’ She described animatedly gesturing wildly with her hands. The blissful moment was then interrupted with a loud rumble, both of their eyes fell to the source of the sound, which came from Shiro’s stomach. She blushed from embarrassment.Jumin chuckled at the pink dusting her cheeks. “I could have sworn it wasn’t long ago when we had a nice big breakfast just this morning. How on earth are you still hungry?”She wanted to know why too! She’d become ravenous these past few weeks and much more easily tired than usual. She had chalked it up to being so busy lately, but she had to admit this was becoming ridiculous. Was there something wrong with her?There was a slight tilt to Jumin’s head as he thought, “Perhaps we should take you for a check-up? It could just be a simple imbalance of nutrients or the change in lifestyle recently.” He couldn’t really think of anything else that could be the case, there was a slight frown as he considered it longer. Maybe it would be best to go for a check today.There was a moment of blankness from Shiro as she processed his words in her mind, thinking hard, before a thought struck her that made her pale. If she was right… Then… She might be pregnant. It wasn’t as if they’d been safe every time with protection. When Jumin saw Shiro’s face become pale, he became alarmed. Was it something very serious?The earlier bliss they were in seemed to have evaporated, as she started to tremble. All kinds of negative thoughts started to fill into her head.What if she really is pregnant? They weren’t married yet. He’s a rich man. They’d never talk about kids. What if he didn’t even want kids?! What if he asked her to get an abortion or, or, or throw her away because she was like one of those women?! Her mind was bombarded with nonsensical things about the situation, each one more worse than the last.Shiro’s hand that was in Jumin’s started to feel clammy as her breathing sped up as if she was hyperventilating. Her severe reaction was concerning, he turned her around rubbing her back, trying to soothe her. “Hey, hey… It’s alright. Look at me. Just take deep breaths.” Honestly, Jumin was also very alarmed, but Shiro needed him to be the calm one right now. He needed to be able to help her.Looking up into his eyes, she couldn’t cover up the frightened expression on her face as fear gripped her heart in a tight vice.Jumin was a wealthy man. She was nothing. She thought of the implications of what that meant. What people would think of them. Think of Jumin. It could affect his company. It could affect the RFA. Would the public assume she was baby trapping him? They hadn’t even gotten married yet and she was probably already pregnant. She didn’t even know how far along she was!! She just couldn’t keep her hands to herself could she?! She had to have him every single night, any chance she got.Her shaking got worse and she felt that she could barely breathe.Jumin tried wrapping his arms around her. “Shh… It’s okay. It’s okay. Just please talk to me. I’m sure whatever it is we’ll be able to solve it together… You may be worrying about things that might not even be an issue. Please, tell me what’s going on so that I can help you, my love.”Shiro then started mumbling about all the things that were running through her mind, but the likelihood of her being pregnant was not even a question.Jumin was slightly taken aback, but dismissed it in order to comfort her. “Darling, You being pregnant isn’t a bad thing at all. It’s a wonderful thing. A happy thing. While I do admit that there were multiple incidents of your adorable attempts to seduce me, I simply saw it as your cute little way of seeking my attention. I don’t believe you were trying to ‘baby trap’ me as you seem to be thinking. I’m an adult and well aware of the things I’m doing.”“B-but. Doesn’t this just make me look like any of those other women who throw themselves at you? You’re a public figure! The people might start saying horrible things about you, how you’re no different from your father….” Shiro trailed off. She knew it was a sensitive topic.Jumin let out a slow exhale. “No, love. It doesn’t make you like every other woman. You know yourself, you weren’t trying to intentionally trap me. I also know it. It’s unavoidable for the public or anyone who has any interest in our lives to think that way, but please don’t take it the wrong way. It doesn’t matter as long as we know the truth of it.”Unshed tears were starting to blur her vision. “Isn’t it? As soon as we both knew our feelings, we both fell into bed together. And it’s not like I ever cared about using any protection.Jumin held her close, stroking her back gently to keep her calm. It was true, she didn’t care for protection, he knew this, but it took two to have a baby. He had as much responsibility as she did in this situation. “Sweetheart. While it’s true that we did fall into bed together, it wasn’t something you planned, it was just something that happened. Don’t take all the blame of this on yourself. I’m just as culpable.”Her voice came out smaller in a slight whisper, as if ashamed about what she was about to admit. “But it’s because I liked it… The idea of you staying inside of me, Even if you aren’t with me… I wanted to keep as much of you with me as I could.” The last part of her sentence almost came out in a squeak.He chuckled, shaking his head as he continued to rub her back. “You know, the more you talk, the more you say all these cute things that make me fall for you more and more. You know I could never resist you nor any of the things you say, but do you know why I’m not mad?”Shiro shook her head as a few tears rolled down her face.Jumin sighed, leaning down to give her a soft kiss as he wiped away her tears and gave her a small smile. “It’s because even if this was a trap, the plan was already doomed from the beginning…. You can’t just expect to trap me with a baby when I already love you so much and already saw myself with you in the future. You’re really bad at this whole ‘trap him with a baby’ thing. Since I already love you, I would have given anything to have a child with you anyways…”Shiro sniffled, calming down. “Then… I want a super duper public prenup. I want to make sure the whole world knows that if anything happens I’ll get nothing at all.”A mischievous smile graced his face, he couldn’t fight this desire of hers could he? He’d just have to roll with it. “Hm? A ‘super duper’ public prenup? Okay my darling, I won’t deny you such a thing.” He then leaned in close to her, his face inches away from hers. “You’ll have your prenup, and it will be announced to the world, a public affair. But there’s just one final thing you need to agree to…”She looked into his eyes with a very serious expression, quickly nodding fervently.Jumin chuckled, he had to keep a straight face, but with her expression he was fighting not to smile even wider. He thought he was going to burst soon, if he didn’t say it quickly enough. He had to contain himself, he was starting to enjoy this conversation a little too much. His voice became serious. “What you’re agreeing to is that you will take my last name once we’re married. Just like any other regular wife.”Shiro smiled brightly at him, “Of course! I want it. I’d even be willing to get ‘Property of Han Jumin’ tattooed on my body!”Now he definitely couldn’t fight it anymore, he bursted out laughing. The look on her face as she said that was completely adorable. He could never take her seriously when she was like this. Despite her being fairly seductive, she had a very large innocent side to her. He sighed softly, “That won’t be necessary my dear. No need to go through that kind of unnecessary pain, a simple name change will do.”“Actually now that I think about it, I really like that idea. I don’t really care about the pain all that much. I don’t know why, but just the thought of being forever branded as yours makes me feel a little giddy inside.” She giggled to herself at the thought.Jumin’s eyebrows shot up at the profession. She was… Completely fine with being permanently branded…? And she would do it without being asked to? He couldn’t just ignore this, she seemed way too eager at the thought of it. “But… Are you sure darling? It’s a pretty serious decision… I don’t want you to regret doing this…”She violently shook her head, her eyes then shining up towards him. “If I can’t have you with me all the time, I really want to keep you with me always somehow.”Jumin chuckled, shaking his head. How could someone be so passionate about such a painful request? But, he wasn’t going to turn her down. She clearly seemed to want this and he wasn’t going to ruin her happiness even if it came with a sacrifice. He sighed, but still gave her a smile, “Alright then, I’ll make the arrangements. You’ll have your tattoo if that’s what makes you happy…”She nearly squealed with excitement, before another thought struck her causing her to frown. “If I really am pregnant… Does this mean we won’t get to have sex anymore…?” She sounded downright depressed at the thought.Jumin had to clear his throat after nearly choking on his spit, as he rubbed his neck slightly blushing at her question. “Err… Yes, that is exactly what that means, my dear.”She made a pouty face at his seemingly disappointing answer, but it was something she was going to need to accept until she gave birth. She then shook her head, “No. I’m going to do a lot of research on this. Find doctors to ask how to safely manage it even while pregnant. I heard that often pregnant women could become insatiable due to hormones.”Jumin’s eyes narrowed in thought, he’d heard of these things too, but he wondered if it was actually wise… Would it be good for her to be that insatiable? He sighed, holding her closer, “I agree to having heard that pregnancy can cause women to become insatiable, but I’m not sure if it’s safe… I don’t want anything happening to you or our child…”“We’ll be sure to be super safe! Even if we can’t actually do that. I know there are other ways to find release. I can’t even imagine a day without having my hands on you.” She was DETERMINED!Jumin couldn’t help the rising blush at her words of determination. She was so adorable and cute, here she was still managing to make him flustered. But still. His concerns for her were prominent. “I know sweetheart, but your health is my main priority right now. I can imagine this being a bit tough for you, I don’t think I’d enjoy this period of abstinence either, but I really don’t want to take any sort of risks…”Shiro stopped him before he could continue. “Then, let’s go to the doctor, right now! I think it will literally kill me if I can’t have you in some way.”She pulled at his hand for them to leave immediately. She wanted to verify with a doctor whether they could or not.He gave a low chuckle as she pulled him along. He was trying to reason with her earlier, but it was no use, she was dead set on having him in some way, she wouldn’t accept a no for an answer. He was grateful that at least she wasn’t upset and panicking anymore. “Alright, I’ll arrange for a doctor to see us immediately. You can’t have your ‘release’ with me in some way.”After several questions, a urine test, a blood test and being examined. The first question Shiro had for the doctor was what it meant for their sex life and what ways it would be safe to continue said sex life.Jumin stood by Shiro, arms crossed as he anxiously waited for the doctor to speak. He was worried about his darling, he wanted a genuine professional’s opinion not just a personal thought based on information she dubiously acquired through self research. He listened to the doctor carefully.“That’s something we won’t be able to give a proper answer to until the third month of your pregnancy where everything starts forming and developing, all we can do is just give you the general advice any expecting mother should follow.” The doctor looked at his notes before continuing. “We’re estimating you to be about in your first month, meaning that your baby is just a little peanut right now. We do not have an exact date when you conceived. In terms of what you are allowed to do, for now, I would just recommend avoiding any extreme exercise and activities that can cause strain on your body. For the most important piece of advice, try to stay clear of getting TOO passionate during intercourse…”She had an extremely sad put upon face at this advice. Ever since they started sleeping together. She became something of a sex maniac in the bedroom with Jumin.She didn’t even think to filter or adjust her wording as she continued in a pleading tone. “Can I at least suck him off?”Jumin was startled by how much Shiro cut straight to the point, she didn’t hesitate at all to speak her mind. The doctor didn’t seem to react much to the question.“Now, let’s just be clear here. You absolutely can, but the problem you need to be extremely cautious with is not going overboard. If you end up being too aggressive and your body isn’t used to your new elevated hormones, then it’s actually pretty risky, even though I know you may not be able to control it.”Shiro wanted to cry.She didn’t know if she COULD control it. Was she going to need to be handcuffed to keep her hands off Jumin?“How much is too much???”Jumin looked on curiously as the doctor spoke. “Now, this also depends on each person to an extent, it’s hard to really give a general number or amount to keep to, but my recommendation is to just try to have as much restraint as possible and pay close attention to your body. You should probably now be aggressive and avoid going overboard for the time being…”She couldn’t stop it any longer as Shiro literally started to bawl, as she tearfully asked. “For how long??”Jumin was becoming curiouser by the way this was going, he knew she’d cry about having to stay away from him for a while… but not to this extent. The doctor was a little surprised by this too. He looked a little hesitant to answer, but he decided to say the truth, there wasn’t really any way to sugarcoat this anyways. “....The rest of your pregnancy.”“Nooooooo!!!” Shiro cried even more miserably at the statement. “I’m going to DIE of frustration!!”Jumin shook his head, she was already pretty crazy whenever they got down to business but now all her energy was coming out full force, he couldn’t help feeling a little amused at the way she was acting.The doctor tried to be sympathetic, “Miss Shiro, I can tell this is a rough thing to take in, but this is a normal process of pregnancy and you shouldn’t be too worried or overwhelmed by it. You are just going through some minor hormonal changes right now, which can be a bit intense but not as bad as it seems…Shiro continued to cry heartbrokenly, “But the internet said that you could!!!!!”Jumin was watching her cry miserably, he couldn’t tell when his humor at the situation turned to genuine concern. He was baffled at how much of a reaction she was having, but he couldn’t do more than to put his arm around her in a comforting manner, holding her as she cried out her worries.“Miss Shiro, the internet can sometimes give conflicting information, what they probably meant is that many women have been able to still enjoy sexual activities in such a manner without any issues. But, every woman is different and your body can be more sensitive than others…”Shiro interrupted him before he could continue further. “Then how will we know how much is too much? Is there a way to monitor the baby’s health during sexual activity?” Shiro asked hopefully.Jumin let out a harsh cough at her statement, but he couldn’t blame her for asking that question. She was probably just hoping she could find a way to still satisfy these intense desires she was experiencing and she didn’t want to hurt the baby at all. It was almost like she couldn’t even consider stopping.“Well your baby is still pretty small, so a bit of activity isn’t necessarily a cause for concern. But there are ways we can monitor the baby’s health with ultrasounds, so we can at least check with that…” The doctor acceded.
“So if I can get an ultrasound everyday to check on the baby’s health can we continue to have sex?” Shiro sounded so eager, it was comical.Jumin was not a bit surprised by the way she was acting. She wasn’t even willing to accept any sort of ‘no’ answer for her question and she was just set on what she wanted. He couldn’t even tell if she was joking. As the doctor answered, she seemed to be taking every word to heart and accepting them. Just how eager was she to have sex?!“Well, I suppose that could… work.” The doctor accepted hesitantly, “However, I’m not sure if you’ll find a doctor willing to do an ultrasound everyday for you.”Shiro turned sharply to Jumin, her eyes BURNING with determination. “Jumin! You have a lot of money right?! We could totally just get a doctor or even a few to do an ultrasound everyday to check on the baby right?!”Jumin’s eyes widened as she spoke to him, she really WAS serious about this. She said it with such confidence like this, as if it really was going to happen and there was no question about it. He wasn’t sure how much it would cost, but he knew he could afford it.Jumin replied slowly. “I do have the money for it… But I’m not sure many would be willing to do daily ultrasounds for you. We’ll probably have to find a doctor willing to do this for you in the first place before you can actually go through with it.”Her head then whipped back towards the doctor, “My fiance is totally rich and willing to pay! Would you be willing to go through with it?!”The doctor couldn’t help the smile at her question. It seemed like she just instantly switched back from a heartbroken woman to a determined one, who was extremely loyal to her husband. It was a nice little change of attitude. The doctor shrugged as he responded. “I guess I wouldn’t mind, I did give the general advice earlier, but to be able to check on the baby every day would be a nice reassurance. But just be aware, it could get pretty costly if you choose to do this…”Shiro then turned puppy dog eyes towards Jumin, pouting in a begging manner to please spoil her.At this point, Jumin realized there wasn’t much he could do. She was too spoiled by him and was using it against him to get what she wanted, but at least it was being used the way he approved of. She just wanted this one thing and his wallet could allow her request. So he chuckled quietly, patting her cheek tenderly. “Fine, my spoiled girl, If that’s what you want I will pay for their service. Just make sure to take care of yourself…”She literally squealed in excitement. “I love you so much Jumin!!” She then abruptly turned to the doctor. “Now, tell me everything we’re allowed to do. How much we can do it. How long we can do it. And how to make sure everything is good.”The doctor cleared his throat and began speaking. “As a reminder, the main thing to watch out for is the intensity of the activity. If you do too much, your body may become too overwhelmed with new cravings that could cause problems for the baby. But avoiding intense activities that could cause high exhaustion would be recommended.”“So I can do everything except for penetration. So long as I don’t get too tired?”The doctor nodded. “Yes, basically. Just make sure not to do anything intense or anything that could cause heavy exhaustion. This is only a temporary period, only a few months of your life where you have to be more cautious about your actions. That’s just normal during a pregnancy.Her eyes brightened. “So when I’m far enough along. We can even have penetrative sex if it doesn’t overly exhaust me?”The doctor raised an eyebrow at this. It seemed as though Shiro’s attitude towards sex was much more open than what he expected. “Theoretically, yes. But you’ll have to be extra careful and it’s also based on how your body can handle the stress. It’s still recommended to avoid it though since there’s always a risk of causing harm to the baby that way.”Shiro slightly sniffled at this. “There’s no way at all to be sure?”The doctor let out a short sigh at the way Shiro was reacting. There was really nothing else he could say that is more than the information she already knew. “Well, in all honesty, no, there isn’t really a way to be completely 100% sure. Every woman is different, everybody is different, and every pregnancy is different. So there are bound to be some risks.”She was a little downcast, but accepted it. She slowly turned to look at Jumin with a tearful expression. “I think this is going to be our only baby… I don’t think I can do this more than once…”Jumin’s face softened at her words, pulling her into an embrace stroking her back. “Now, don’t be too down about it. If it’s true that this is our only baby, then that’s fine. We’ll make sure to give them all of our attention and love. That’ll be what’s best for our child, we’re going to be excellent parents together.”She nodded quickly, she hesitated for a moment before she asked the doctor.“We’re probably going to need to do another ultrasound in a few hours… Will that be okay, doctor?”The doctor pinched the bridge of his nose. Just how much of a sex fiend was this woman?!Not so unexpectedly Jumin was wondering the same thing, she seemed to be far more open about such topics with her doctor than he expected. He seemed surprised by how much she wanted to keep having sex with him throughout the day.“Well… It probably wouldn’t be the healthiest for your body. But I suppose I could see how this would work if you were only going to have one more, however, I would advise against doing any sort of activity after the next exam, we don’t want you to overexert yourself either…”Shiro struggled with that, before giving a hesitant nod to the doctor. She then took Jumin’s hand, pulling at him to leave. “Then we’ll see you in a few hours doctor.” She replied succinctly before dragging Jumin away.Shiro was determined to do anything and everything she could get away with Jumin before she wasn’t allowed to anymore. Right now she had to strike while the iron was hot and have her way with Jumin before he could change his mind.Jumin couldn’t keep himself from laughing at how eager she was in dragging him away by hand. He found it incredibly cute. He didn’t say anything as she insisted on doing everything possible before she wasn’t allowed to anymore.They didn’t even make it to the penthouse.They ended up at a hotel near the hospital where she had her exam.They did a LOT of things barring penetration, Shiro cried when Jumin denied her.They were then back at the doctor’s office for the second ultrasound that day.Jumin couldn’t help being concerned. Shiro was SO eager to do so much despite her current condition, but his worries seemed worthless since she was already determined to do as much as possible before her pregnancy advanced.Jumin sat across from the doctor watching carefully as they did the exam. He couldn’t help smiling at the little image of the peanut that was their child in her belly.It was their baby.Maybe having an ultrasound often wouldn’t be so bad. He would be able to see their child inside the love of his life before his very eyes. At this moment he was truly happy, Jumin was going to start a family with someone he loved. Their child was growing in her belly.Apparently Shiro wasn’t so touched at the moment, she sounded impatient as she asked eagerly. “So is the baby very healthy?”There was a pause as the doctor continued to move the wand around her abdomen. The prolonged silence was starting to concern her until she realized what she was seeing on the monitor.There were three peanuts.
To say that Jumin was only a little shocked would be an understatement. He felt like his heart had stopped beating for a moment. THREE! He stared down at Shiro’s belly. They had THREE babies growing in her belly! He didn’t know how to feel about this. Maybe he was wrong? Maybe he was seeing things. He wasn’t a doctor after all. “....Is… Is what I’m seeing three babies?”The doctor nodded. “I wanted to make sure, because it seemed we missed it in the first ultrasound earlier today. But yes, they’re all healthy. All three of them.”Shiro’s jaw dropped as she slowly turned to look at Jumin blankly before smacking him. “How GOOD are your swimmers?! THREE in ONE go?!”Jumin’s mind was far away and incoherent. Was he probably happy? He couldn’t say. “Maybe we were just lucky?”“Does this mean I’ll start showing earlier than normal? We were supposed to get married soon…”It was a good point. More babies meant she would start to show a lot earlier. The doctor nodded. You’re going to get quite big towards the later stages and now that we know you’re expecting multiples, getting an ultrasound often would mitigate a lot of risks. Most multiple pregnancies are at a higher risk for complications. It's also likely going to be a premature birth, but we would like to extend the birthdate for as long as possible so the babies have more time to develop.Now Jumin was a lot more concerned than before. “If they’re at a higher risk for premature labor… Is there a way to minimize the risks of this happening?The doctor nodded. “We will need to make sure she takes in as much nutrients as possible to make sure that all the babies are sufficiently healthy. Once she gets to a certain stage she will need to be put on bed rest until the end of her pregnancy.”Jumin didn’t like this at all, it felt as though this would become too much for her body to handle. As he listened more regarding all the risks and how much of a strain her body would be put through. The babies would literally be draining all of the resources in Shiro’s body. “This feels too harsh for her body to handle. The thought that at some point she would need to be hospitalized and the possibility that he would not even be able to be by her side for all of it… It felt painful.“So you’re saying she’ll need to be hospitalized closer to the end of her pregnancy until she delivers?”“Yes, That is correct.”Shiro was quiet, her face had become slightly pale, with both hands cradling her abdomen. All thoughts of the limitations of sex with Jumin flew from her mind. She needed to be able to protect their babies. For Jumin.Jumin held her shoulders, for the first time since they’ve gone to the doctors she seemed genuinely scared. He was unused to seeing her so quiet, so different from her usual self. He hated this feeling of now knowing how to comfort her, not knowing what else he could do to better protect her and their children. But he will try his best. “It will be alright, my love. We will do everything that we can. We’ll get through this together.” Shiro looked up at him with a small smile and nodded, “Okay.”The months pass with increasing difficulty. Not only did Shiro go through a period of ravenous hunger and strange cravings. She also became prone to being lightheaded and tired easily. Eventually she had to be put on bed rest early and she was miserable because of it. Jumin did his best to spend as much time with her as he could by keeping her entertained and comfortable.Today She was pouting at him as he sat next to her. “I’m HUGE!” She despaired. “How can you love me when I’m as big as a whale?”This pregnancy has definitely caused her to become extremely emotional. Much more than usual, the further along she got.Jumin wasn’t upset, used to her complaints regarding her size as she was further along. Before he realized. “Wait, she made people come here for a prenup?”Shiro nodded, “I asked for a prenup before we confirmed I was pregnant remember? I told you I wanted to make a super duper public prenup when we got married so if anything happens I’d have nothing. So I didn’t think too much about it before signing the papers.”Jumin was stunned. Did she truly not plan on taking anything from him if they were to separate? He had always felt with her personality, she wouldn’t, but to have her actually physically sign it away… “If I may ask, Why did you want ro make the prenup public?”She gave him a distasteful expression. “I wanted to make sure that no one would ever question whether or not I loved you. I know you had to see a lot of those kinds of things with your father, so I wanted to make sure no one could ever use me against you.”Jumin was speechless, but also filled with love as he realized just how much she loved him. She sincerely wanted the best for him and was willing to even put herself out there in public just to prove that she loved him and that she wasn’t after his money. “You… Really do love me that much don’t you?”Her expression towards him turned into disgust as her voice came out upset verging upon tears.
“I’m pregnant with THREE of your babies! We can’t even have SEX! As they rushed in, he was slightly pushed to the side as they began checking on her and using a bunch of technical terms, but he knew enough to understand that it was still a bit too soon and that they were going to try to delay the delivery for as long as possible.He was pushed out into the hall, where a nurse explained to him how they were going to give her medication to delay the delivery for a few weeks. With Shiro’s well known extreme mood swings and emotional state it was likely they were going to also put her into an induced coma to keep her calm since most of her organs were already under severe stress due to the pregnancy. He was reluctant, but knew it was the right decision. He didn’t want anything happening to them.Jumin had not been prepared for how he would feel in the weeks after she was put into a coma.He’d become a nervous wreck.It was already difficult to see her so quiet and unresponsive, but the fact that during this period she nearly died. Her lunds had collapsed twice. At this point, he just prayed for the delivery to be over and done with already.This wait was agonizing.Finally when the day came when it was safe to deliver, he spent the entire time waiting outside. There was a mixture of emotions swirling inside of him. He was scared for their health. He was excited that he would finally be able to see and hold his children. Anticipation for the relief that will come when this will all finally be over and their family would be out of danger and be safe.When the doctor came out, Jumin didn’t know what to make of that expression, until the words that came. “There were some complications.”Jumin felt as if he had been abruptly dropped into an ice cellar at those words.“The babies have been safely delivered, and they are all quite healthy. However the mother suffered from a fairly serious heart attack shortly after and we had to intubate. We managed to stabilize her, but as she is still in a bit of a critical condition we will need to closely monitor her for the time being in the ICU. We’ll know more once she recovers more.”“C-can I see her?”“You can, after we have her moved.” There was a pause. “But I want you to prepare yourself, she’ll be hooked to quite a few machines to monitor and keep her stable.”Jumin nodded grimly as he waited to be escorted to visit her.When he saw her he felt a vice gripping at his heart. God. This felt like it kept getting worse. He didn’t know how much more he could take. Just when he thought it was bad when she was in a coma, to her almost dying, this was even more difficult because she looked even smaller and more fragile, hooked up to all kinds of things. The constant hissing of the ventilator reminded him that it was helping her breathe, because she couldn’t even do that on her own.This was torture.He went to hold her hand and nearly cried at how cold and clammy it felt in his. She was always so lively and affectionate. Constantly wanting to hold his hand just to have some kind of physical contact with him. Seeing her so vulnerable for so long was taking a toll on him. “I’m here dear, I’m right here. I’ll be here when you wake up.”There was a knock before a nurse came in. “I was wondering if you would want to see the babies. They’ve been cleaned up and placed in the NICU, though they’re healthy enough to be held if you like?”A part of Jumin felt relieved that despite this trying time, Shiro was alive and the triplets were all healthy with no problems. A part of him felt excited at finally becoming a father, but a part was also conflicted. He wanted to see his children now that they have finally arrived, but he also didn’t want to leave Shiro’s side for even a minute.After some thought he decided, yes, Shiro would want him to at least see their children to keep his mind off the current situation. At least it was something he could do other than worry.When he saw them he was in awe. He’d been told the two oldest were both boys. The third was a girl.Jumin’s heart melted at the sight of them, both boys had their mother’s white hair while his daughter had his black hair. A combination of them both.Jumin’s daughter was the first to be handed to him, She was a squirmy little thing. So tiny in his arms. His finger brushed against her soft little cheek. As if feeling her father’s attention, she moved and her tiny little hand grasped his finger tightly.
Taken by his daughter's small hand grasping his finger tightly; he couldn't help but smile warmly with pride and love at the sight of his daughter’s affection. He gently stroked her back as she squirmed in his arms, he couldn't help but feel a bit emotional with how much love he already felt for her. His daughter was definitely going to be daddy’s girl.He could already imagine all the sweet interactions they would have together. The thought filled him with joy at being given the chance to show his love for her; he wasn't going to take it for granted.It was a trying time for Jumin, new father to triplets. Shiro had remained in a comatose state for almost over a week before she was finally stable and awake. According to the doctors they could finally be discharged in a few days.Shiro was happy as she watched Jumin holding their daughter. She was well enough to nurse and had just finished doing so for all of the triplets.“Did you name them all yet?” Shiro asked softly.Jumin smiled, “Yes, I've already got names for all three of them.”She laughed. “I think as their mother I’d like to know what you decided to name our children.”Jumin chuckled softly in response to her answer. “I have names for them all. For our daughter I've decided to name her after your beauty and my love for you, So I've named her: Elizabeth... Elizabeth 3rd.Shiro laughed with a slight wince. She should have known he’d named their daughter after his cat. She wasn’t too upset. She was just glad to see him happy with their family.“And the boys?”Jumin smiled at her laugh. It was sweet; the fact she wasn't upset over their daughter’s name. “For our two boys I wanted to make sure that they have names that represent the beauty of their mother as well. So I've decided to name our boys: Viktor and Dimitri.”“I’m so glad I left all the hard work of naming our children to you, my love.” She said in an amused manner.Jumin laughed at her sarcastic remark, his mouth twisted into a playful smirk. Oh, come on dear. “Those names aren't too bad.. Are they?”“No they’re not. They’re absolutely amazing, because the love of my life chose them for our precious little miracles.”Jumin couldn't help chuckling at the answer she gave. She was such a loving and caring person, not even teasing him at the names he chose. “I'm glad that you're pleased with the names I picked, we did manage to make our own little miracles, didn't we?”Shiro laughed. “I think I enjoy the ‘making them part’ a little too much. Much more than the part where I had to carry them. I swear as soon as I’m well enough we’re going to hire nannies so that I can eat you up.”He looked forward to finally having their private time together again. While he loved and cherished the time spent with their children, he missed the intimacy with Shiro. “I definitely wouldn't mind having nannies taking care of the kids, if it means that I get to have some time with you all to myself, then that's a win in my books.She gave a soft groan as she also realized something. “We still need to get married!” Shiro complained. “If I’d known I’d get pregnant so fast I should have just married you as soon as we got together.”
He couldn't really complain at the order in which things happened, after being blessed with three beautiful children with the woman of his dreams, who he was about to marry. “You know, I feel that way as well but it's not too late. Once you recover we can get married right away to make up for not being married earlier.“Are you sure you don’t want to just sign some papers and be done with it?” There was a slight whine to her voice. “Having a wedding takes so much time and work! I just want to start enjoying you already and have lots of crazy sex as soon as I recover.”Jumin chuckled, she always had a way with words, especially when it came to teasing him. The thought of having her all to himself after such a long time without her was enough to make him shiver in excitement. “Well, do you mind if we just elope? It would be less stressful for both of us since we'll be dealing with the triplets and your recovery.”Her eyes brightened at this, she agreed immediately. “Yes! Let’s do this right now!”Jumin was taken aback by how easily she accepted the elopement proposal “Wait, you're okay with not having an official wedding ceremony?”“Jumin baby. I never cared to have a wedding in the first place. I only agreed because I thought it was something you wanted?”She shook her head in amusement, “To me. What does it matter how we get married? What matters to me is we get to become family already. Jumin was very fortunate to have her as the love of his life, no matter if they had a wedding ceremony or not the end result remained the same and he was going to make sure she was his wife very soon, “Fine, fine, we'll elope. It seems like the best option anyways since we've already been blessed with three lovely children already.”Shiro let out an excited squeal at finally getting him to concede. “Okay! This is when it’s super convenient to have such a rich fiancé. Get whoever needs to be here so we can make it official right now.”Jumin shook his head at her antics; he was glad at her eagerness to make it official. Jumin was very much looking forward to officially becoming her husband. So he instantly called someone to set up a marriage ceremony right away. “I've already got someone coming to make it official. What a relief it is to get married without all of the stress and planning, isn't it?”“Oh! Don’t forget to make sure they make the prenup super duper public too! If I hear anything about you being used for money or something I think I’ll go crazy.”She really was protective of him, which was one of the many things he loved about her. He couldn't help but smile and nod at her request before responding. “You got it, I'll make sure to make the prenup ‘super duper' public. You and the triplets are going to be my top priority; I don't want anyone thinking I'm just using my money for any other reason besides loving and supporting you.”“Now kiss me like you mean it. Because I totally deserve it. I’ve been suffering for months being unable to kiss you and love you as much as I want.”The fact that she asked for him to kiss her like he meant it made the kiss that he was going to give her even better. He gave a sly smirk in response, “You deserve more than a kiss, I'm going to kiss you as if my very life depended on it because that's what you deserve right now.”Jumin slowly walked towards her and kissed her lips with a passion that was unlike any kiss that she has ever had before.As their tongues danced against each other. Jumin could feel and hear her moan into the kiss, causing him to smile. As he pulled away he could see her dazed and dreamy like expressions from the kiss he gave her. Which left her slightly gasping.“Do you think I’m recovered enough right now to at least suck you off?” She asked dreamily.Jumin laughed as his lip curled up playfully. She really was ambitious when it came to satisfying him. The look on Shiro's face, her dazed and dreamy expression after that passionate kiss was definitely getting to him, she never fails at causing his heart to flutter. But then he also found the idea of that very amusing. “I mean... I do enjoy that as well but... I think you need another day or two before being fully recovered my dear love…”Her dreamy expression quickly turned into despair as she whined. “We are SO not having any other kids after this! If I have to abstain again I’m going to die out of frustration!”He cracked up at her desperation, but agreed with her decision. “Alright alright, no more kids after this. I think three children are more than enough for us to raise, don't you?”Shiro sighed as she leaned into him. “I can’t wait to finally go home and spend the rest of our lives together.”Jumin wrapped his arms around Shiro, pulling her close to him. He sighed in relief and felt like a weight had finally been taken off of his shoulders upon realizing how soon they would be able to finally go home. It had been a long journey but they were almost there and he couldn't wait“I know, I also can't wait to finally spend the rest of our lives together, my love.”
