Work Text

This version is simple enough, Pokemon have always existed. The Great Collapse also still happened. But, the 8 gym challenge takes maybe a year or two to complete as its a regional event that can be taken in any order at any time after a person turns 10.There are several jobs one can take after defeating the base league; research assistant, contest star, professional trainer, and gym trainer; on top of standard jobs involving Pokemon such as medical professional or police. Gym trainer can work all the way up through gym leader, elite 4, and champion of the region and are often also professional trainers. Professional trainers compete in the Silver League, the national tournaments, and the Indigo League, the international tournaments. Or a person can just be a casual trainer and choose a job that doesn’t require training Pokemon on the side. (While still training Pokemon as a hobby). The six Pokemon on a team rule only effects travel and trainers. As long as a person is at home or otherwise stationary, they can work with as many Pokemon as will listen to them. This rule by the Indigo League was made for research assistants and professors mostly, though some people who keep Pokemon as pets also make good use of this rule..Klaus
The Reinherz family has 2 “crest” Pokemon. Eevee and Togepi.
The children all choose a different baby Pokemon for a starter Pokemon, Klaus chose Budew (which he named Beau).
Each child is gifted a Togepi egg after they win their first gym badge and a level 10 Eevee when they find the fourth gym city.
Klaus ended up raising his Togepi as a member of his team and he was gifted the Shiny Stone before his Elite 4 challenge. (Something that alters if the Reinherz chooses not to do so being a reward for completing the league)
Klaus also raised his Eevee, though as a Leafeon and he sadly left his Leafeon aside for the Elite 4 battles
His Pokemon mostly sit around the office on various perches and pet beds along side everyone else’s
Klaus has a very bratty Snorlax that is constantly trying to lay in his bed because Klaus pampered it while it was a Munchlax.
.Steven
The Starphase family also has a “crest” Pokemon, that being Clefable. Though it is gifted after a Starphase beats the base league.
Steven’s starter was actually a stray Eevee he found when he was 8. His mother let him keep it as a pet and he eventually evolved it into a Glaceon
Though, Steven has every Eeveelution. Not as a tribute to Klaus, he just really wanted an Umbreon to go with his Glaceon and had absolutely terrible luck.
During all the trials of his Eevees, it was this order; Syleveon, Espeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Leafeon, Vaporeon, then finally Umbreon.
He routinely adopts pet-like Pokemon and his favorites are his Glameow and his Chatot
Steven has to keep his suits put away lest his Pokemon rub their fur all over them, his dry cleaning for fur alone made that necessary
Steven’s Clefable often argues with him about his poor sleep habits and uses Sing against him (then gets his male Meowstic to lift him to bed)
This means Steven often wakes up to a dozen of his Pokemon laying on top of him in bed with no memory of how he got there.
.Leo
Before he left for Hellsalem’s Lot, Michella gave him her Dratini.
Despite knowing Dragonite to be a powerful Pokemon, Leo babies the Dratini. Refusing to train it at all.
He seems to be constantly plagued by a Mew following him, and usually giggling when he trips or gets hurt.
He can’t catch the Mew, or any other Legendary sadly. They’re drawn to the Eyes and nothing else, so they refuse to ally themselves with Leo for anything else
Leo has been punched by a Hatterene for being too emotional. (it was Chain’s)
Leo often trains Pokemon that his sister would have if she could be a trainer. (most Gyms and their puzzles aren’t designed with paraplegic trainers in mind)
Of course that means he has a “second team” of mostly Fairy and Grass types.
Unfortunately he isn’t too good with Grass types in particular, the way he keeps his apartment is the main reason why, but he also gets a few pointers from Klaus on what Grass types usually prefer
.Zapp
When he was about 5/6 he wandered back from playing with an XL Teddiursa (named Snuffles) and an XS Cuffant (named Heffalump)
He didn’t choose either as his Starter, instead going with a Heracross that had been attached to the house for a couple months prior to his 10th birthday (he was named Hercule)
Didn’t bring Snuffles or Heffalump on his journey, but still has them as pets and refuses to train either
Hasn’t nicknamed a Pokemon since he was a kid but refuses to remove any of the embarrassing nicknames (he knows he can’t really re-train his Pokemon to go by a different name)
Zapp wishes he knew why there’s a Spinerak that keeps finding him and attaching itself to him after battles. He doesn’t want it and doesn’t remember it
Because of his fossil hunting, Zapp has quite a few repeats, but since he won’t revive any of them, he only has one of each fossil Pokemon
.Zed
Zed has been getting use to having Pokemon and blazed through the League much later than anyone ever has
He really does like his Klefki and babies it a little, leading to him occasionally buying little keychains for it.
Zed read up on Dreepy and has been seeking one out ever since. He’s a bit obsessed with finding one honestly
Though he can’t use them in battle too often, unless he were to use Inverted Fish Bowl for them, Zed does have a few fish Pokemon that like to swim around in his tank when he isn’t around.
Less of them swim around when he is in his tank, but that’s just so Zed has enough space to move around and pet them.
His Ludicolo found some Lotad eggs, and Zed hatched them on whim. Now the top of his tank looks like a lily pad garden
Other than his Klefki, Zed is particularly partial to his Pyukumuku
Apart from his 4 Lotad, Zed also has 5 Froakie that were hopping around and being little trouble makers. Though he firmly believes that with a little training they will all be very strong
Because of his multiple repeats, Zed has plans to train each of them differently from each other.
.Chain
She refuses to control her Pokemon, once they’re out of the Pokeball and have their orders… Whatever they do is on them
This leads to her Hatterene punching people for being to emotional
She has a Cyndaquil that she babies to no end. It’s a little spoiled
Chain won’t evolve this Cyndaquil…. ever
While Chain doesn’t have a green thumb, Klaus does allow her to use the flowers he grows to change her Oricorio’s styles.
Other than her Cyndaquil, Chain babies a little Goomy she rescued while on mission. Though she’s on the fence about whether she’ll evolve this one or not
Other than Ghost types, she has a fondness for Fairy and Poison types (though she can’t figure out why her Pokemon don’t get along very well)
She has a very shy Minior that rarely lets its shields down (which they do when they’re comfortable or outgoing) But she’s seen it’s core form a couple times and its a nice purple color.
.Lucky
He wasn’t too keen on remaining a trainer after he beats the gym challenge and elite 4
His Absol has been following him around since he was cursed by the blood breeds and is somehow one of his most loyal Pokemon
He has a natural affinity for Psychic types, especially ones that are good at detecting hidden things and retrieving information.
Though he does baby a tiny Skitty that he rescued, on accident.
It sleeps in his trench coat pocket and sometimes climbs up to his shoulder when it wants attention.
He also has several Yamask, Corigrigus, and Runerigus. Thinking they might be able to help him decode other ancient type of artifacts.
He also managed to catch one of every form of Unknown for the same reason.
.Gilbert
He could have been a professional trainer if he wanted to be. He just didn’t want to continue battling even if he was among the top tier trainers.
Though he could have become a contest star due to his ability to train Pokemon.
Gilbert has a tendency to raise Pokemon as if they were also meant to be combat maids/butlers.
While his twin Meowstic are his main Pokemon, tailing him all the time, he also carries an Aipom on his shoulder practically everywhere
His Aipom was actually the leader of a very wild, rebellious Aipom that were little terrors around Hellsalem’s Lot
Gilbert does have one Pokemon he babies to no end, spoiling it rotten and refusing to train it for anything. And that’s a Morelull his younger sister (niece’s mother) gave him before they parted ways.
Mostly this Morelull sits in a small pot of soil in Gilbert’s room, often being a bit of brat by glowing all night long. However, Gilbert is very use to this and is easily able to fall fast asleep.
.K.K.
While she favors her Emolga as a partner in battle, K.K. has Pikachu, Plusle, Minun, Pachirisu, Dedenne, Togedemaru, and Morpeko at home.
She has many Thunder Stones, one of which Steven’s Eevee got a hold of, since a lot of her Pokemon seem to find them effortlessly
She adopted a Falinks not realizing the Pokemon was a little set of warriors….she thought she was adopting several little Pokemon
She is constantly cooing over everyone else’s Pokemon and partially spoils all of them.
Even though she started late, it took her some time to be able to do anything with the league, her habit of revolving Pokemon lead to her “grinding levels” too often and delaying the actual gym challenge
.Dog
He can no longer be a trainer, but he did have a Smeargle and Cutiefly
Dog did participate in the League, but after what Aligula did, most of his Pokemon were released on suspension of death. Klaus stepped in right before his two favorites could be released but Warden Alice was adamant that he could only have extremely limited access to his Pokemon at all due to Deldro and his SS prison sentence.
Deldro’s Pokemon were all released due to his supposed death and would have been released if he had been caught since prisoners aren’t allowed ANY Pokemon whatsoever.
.Daniel
Being a police officer, Daniel tries to stick with Pokemon that could help with his work
This lead to him retraining an Arcanine that he used during his league challenge
He can be a bit harsh to his Pokemon during training, but often makes it up to them with extra treats and sometimes large take out meals like burgers or pan fried rice
Never actually meant to raise a Sylveon. It was suppose to be an Espeon or Umbreon, but he didn’t realize his Eevee knew a fairy type attack.
He would try to raise more variant Pokemon (Alolan Sandslash and Galarian Farfetch’d specifically) but is a little deterred by how rare they are in Hellsalem’s Lot.
While out on patrol, Daniel adopted a random Clobbopus thinking it needed to be in water. Mostly because he mistook its general malnutrition for dehydration
Its the one Pokemon Daniel actually babies a little, though he tries not to show favoritism among his Pokemon if he can help it.
His Gengar was a Pokemon that followed him around during his childhood, as was his Mightyena.
Those two didn’t get along until Daniel adopted both to use during his league challenge and became the first anidates for his police training partners
.Raju
Raju took pity on a Charmander stuck in the rain and now it hangs out on his shoulder all the time.
Raju rarely has any Pokemon anyways, he never became a trainer to begin with
Though when he does adopt Pokemon, they are either useful or babied….mostly both
Raju gets pissed if his Pokemon get hurt at all, let alone scarred.
He only stops short of pure destruction so he doesn’t hurt any innocent Pokemon
Raju favors powerful Pokemon, Dragon and Psychic types mostly
He has a shiny Sigilyph following him around
Anyone pointing this out falls on deaf ears and no one can catch the shiny at all, its under Raju’s protection
Raju accidentally became a master apricorn carver and has a bag full of hollowed out apricorn shells for his Pokemon to shrink down into to rest during traveling.
This bag is very well hidden under his cloak, though the only two Pokemon that don’t go for it are his Charmander and shiny Sigilyph.
.Femt
He will NEVERuse live Pokemon or their eggs in his experiments. Maybe a couple drops of blood here or there, but never anything further.
This is because he fully views his Pokemon, and Pokemon at large, to be innocent babies that humanity doesn’t deserve.
One of his first Pokemon was his Stunky and Ralts. Both of which haven’t been evolved and get babied, absolutely spoiled rotten.
Occasionally his Pokemon help with his experiments in small ways.
Even when his latest catch (or just the actual babies) fumble and make big messes of his experiments, Femt doesn’t yell or fuss. He just gives them praise and treats.
Before he became the King of Depravity, he was a talented trainer that could have gone pro.
Though after the contract, he lost all interest in battling, instead just keeping Pokemon as pets
.Aligula
She refuses to do contests because she KNOWS her Pokemon are the cutest, most adorable little babies to walk the Earth.
She has made little mechs for her own Pokemon to pilot along side herself
Her Pokemon all have little wardrobes full of cute outfits and costumes that they proudly parade around in.
Her Delcatty in particular is rather sassy and sits on the main console of Aligula’s biggest vehicles just judging everyone and everything in its sights
Though she took pity on a lonely little Trubbish and only allows it to stay so long as it stays small and adorable-ish. Since she doesn’t train it any, this works for both.
She has three little Nidoran (two female, one male) that all wear little ribbons and sometimes tiny prince and princess outfits
Before she became Queen of Monomania, Aligula had beaten the league and was on the fast track to become a contest star.
After the contract, she still had that drive, but too much pride to actually compete.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Klaus
Gives his Pokemon cute and classy nicknames, lowkey spoils them all the time.
Always growing berries along side his usual houseplants to make Poffins and Pokeblocks, but doesn’t enter contests, just sorta gives them to his Pokemon(simple misunderstanding about them being treats)Also gives them to whom ever else may want them, only around the office tho.
Has an obvious fondness for grass types, and a serious lack of what is intimidating in a Pokemon. (These are his partners in battle, and lowkey his babies
Also grows Gracedia flowers and can call on Shaymin when needed, he just doesn’t realize this and routinely leaves snacks when the Gracedias bloom for the “hedgehog” and “reindeer” Pokemon.
Often adopts literal baby Pokemon and just totes them around the office until the evolve
His team is Roserade, Bisharp, Snorlax, Aegislash, Gogoat, and Flygon.
 Steven
Malice and ice, just purely……(jk) does train mainly ice types because of his Esmerelda blood freeze tho
Doesn’t nickname his Pokemon outright, but in tired frustration will call them “fluff butts”
Doesn’t do much extra for his Pokemon, but can often be seen stuck at his desk because one is curled up in his lap (he doesn’t mind it tho, its nice to have company)
Does have a few “pet-like” Pokemon that mostly stay at home, easier to explain a Glameow over an Abomasnow after all.
His main team is Ninetails (Kantonian), Ninetails (Alolan), Umbreon, Beartic, Cryogonal, and Marowak(Kantonian).
 Leo
Poor boy just tries to figure out why all the legendary Pokemon keep showing up……..(*cough* All seeing eyes *cough*)
Tries to keep reasonable Pokemon since he seems to constantly be moving from one apartment to the next
Is the first to find strays and tries so hard to resist catching them (he fails btw, every singletime)
Sonic doesn’t mind them……he does get a little jealous from time to time
His main team is Machamp, Gallade, Girafarig, Crobat, Goodra, and Alakazam. (Pretty stacked, but c'mon)
 Zapp
Can’t pick between super cute to help pick up chicks or super cool to show off how awesomehe is
Ends up bitten by his own Pokemon a lot….like a lot, a lot….(its affectionate, don’t worry)
It baffles everyone, but he doesn’t cuss out his Pokemon, at all, ever
Somehow manages to find fossils like its nothing (its because he thinks it’ll impress people)
His team is Kabutops, Scizzor, Krookodile, Scrafty, Medicham, and Magmortar.
 Zed
Wants to focus on training deep sea Pokemon buuuuuuuut, he’s up on dry land most of the time so similarly amphibious Pokemon it is
Doesn’t have a concept of cute or intimidating, just focuses on getting the job done and not getting hurt
Didn’t even have Pokemon until he joined Libra sadly, but trained his booty off anyways(Leo helped)
Often nicknames his Pokemon from whatever book he’s reading at the time, fictional or not.
His team is Politoad, Ludicolo, Swanna, Crawdaunt, Klefki (no one knows why or where he got it, he just likes it for some reason), and Omastar.
 Gilbert
Prefers “helpful” Pokemon. Literally just for his roll as a butler tbh
Has an adorable “uniform” for all his Pokemon. (Little black bow ties and maid aprons, so cute)
Mostly keeps his Pokemon in Pokeballs for convince sake. Though usually tailed by his twin Meowstic (one male, one female) when necessary
His team is Meowstic(male), Meowstic (female), Polteageist, Cinccino, Hoothoot, and Chandelure.
 K.K.
Has nicknamed every Pokemon she has ever owned.
Will revolve Pokemon on and off her team constantly so no one feels left out.
Prefers cute Pokemon, but will train and use anything that catches her eye.
Will swaddle any small Pokemon and treat it like a baby. Even cuddles her fully evolved ones on a regular basis because those are her babies and she loves them like her own children.
Her Pokemon are just as protective over her family as she is, you just can’t mess with the people she likes….I’m sorry (no I’m not)
Her most consistent team is Emolga, Metagross, Noivern, Aimbipom, Gliscor, and Arcanine.

Chain
Mostly sticks to simple nicknames, often lands on Zapp for trying to talk shit about her nicknames.
Uses ghost types more often since they can faze through walls with her, but this backfires since her Pokemon can’t detect her at all once out of the Pokeball.
Has entered a couple contests for fun with the other invisible werewolves, but isn’t good enough to be overly competitive about it.
Her team is Mimikyu, Mismagius, Shedinja, Oricorio (usually Sensu style but she uses all forms to her advantage), Weavile (3 guesses),and Gothitelle.
Dog/Deldro (uh……not allowed to be trainers. Stupid SS class life sentence) Lucky
Forgets he has Pokemon sometimes, its a little sad.
Mostly detective based Pokemon, and no nicknames.
Thinks he’s just suuuuuuuper lucky to have found an Absol…..and can’t, for the love of anything, figure out why it refuses to stay in its Pokeball.
His team is Absol, Luxray, Rotom, Audino, Hypno, and Espeon.
 Patrick (and Nekya)
Patrick does the training and technically owns the Pokemon, Nekya just spoils them rotten.
Patrick keeps trying to train them to use weapons, but never has any luck (sorry man, they can’t even work simple spray bottles)
All six are usually out in the work space cause, they do be helpful tho.
His (their) team is Kirlia, Jolteon, Porygon, Castform, Houndoom, and Octillery.
 Daniel Law
Doesn’t bother with nicknames or serious training. Would be beyond embarrassed if caught showering his Pokemon in affection
Treats his Pokemon better than his coworkers and is often called out for it.
Is usually tailed by his Mightyena and Gengar, but keeps his other Pokemon safe in their Pokeballs
His team is Mightyena, Gengar, Swellow, Sylveon, Sandslash(Kantonian), and Lucario.

Femt
Prefers odd looking/unpopular Pokemon and has an affinity for poison types.
Often uses his Pokemon to further his “make humanity fall” schemes but never puts them in serious danger if he can help it. He may be a mad man, but he still has a heart…..somewhere…..
Often gives bizarre nicknames that are completely opposite of the Pokemon period (like a Muk named Rose)
Normally has his Arctozolt out.
His team is Arctozolt, Weezing (Kantonian), Ariados, Nidoking, Porygon-Z, and Sabeleye.
 Aligula
Adorable Pokemon all the way.
Could be a Contest Star, of it weren’t for her villainy
Nicknames her Pokemon as adorably as possible and never uses them in battle. They’re really just like pets for her.
Often grooms her Pokemon to be better looking. And has out her Smoochum most often.
Her team is Smoochum, Milotic, Froslass, Eevee, Purrloin, and Ponyta (Galarian).
 Michella
Can’t really train Pokemon due to …..well ……health reasons
Has specially trained “seeing eye” Pokemon
Its really just Machamp for mobility and Stoutland for guidance.
(A bit redundant sure, but hey)

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

7 years prior to the Great Collapse, enormous rifts of space-time appeared world wide and let Pokemon spill forth. Since the games had already existed, research went fairly well at first. Though no one could properly explain what happened at either event.Pokemon are far more aggressive than normal, and far more mysterious. Hardly anyone raises or trains Pokemon, but the people who can are still rather famous. Pokemon battling and contests are treated more like high-risk, circus-esk means of entertainment.Though researchers seem to be the only ones capable of training Pokemon as pets exclusively. (Though Professor Karume Arjun has been researching behavior and trying to get everyone else to relax about it).Klaus
Being the big softie Klaus is, he adopted a stray Milcery that had stowed away in some boxes that made their way into the office.
He’s also the one with the most Pokemon, all poor strays that were around the office, on the battle field (especially if their shelter was destroyed), or around his own house.
.Steven
If it wasn’t for the fact that Steven rarely travels (and laws about non tamed/research Pokemon traveling early on) he would have a Froslass following him.
But alas, he left one in the Alps waiting for him to return
Steven does have a Pokemon. An absolutely tiny Growlithe (about the size of a Chihuahua)
.Leo
While Michella does have her seeing eye Stoutland, Leo never got a Pokemon before he moved to Hellsalem’s Lot
Shortly after the events of season 1, Black entrusted him with the Plusle and Minun that he and White owned. *(see below)
Leo’s own Pokemon ended up being a Starly, like Sonic it just refused to leave him.
This Starly will actively defend Leo from muggers when it can. Mostly just being a little nuisance long enough for Leo to escape.
.Zapp
He initially thinks the Professors are all wasting their time and ignores every Pokemon he comes across.
This goes out the window when he finds a “stray” Houndoom
Sadly it was a shadow Pokemon and needed serious rehabilitation before Zapp could take it from the lab, but he eventually got his doggo
.Zed
Zed accidentally saved a Gible from some street dogs and now it follows him everywhere… including trying to jump into his tank…
He is notcomfortable with this. Partially because it’s the first time he’s really seen a Pokemon up close like this, but also because it could get seriously hurt staying in water too long.
.Chain
Given her soft spot for small, fluffy creatures, Chain ended up adopting a baby Teddiursa
If a Pokemon around the office is cute enough, like Skitty or Morepeko, Chain will offer to take it in or at least find it a good home with one of the other werewolves.
Chain very rarely adopts other random Pokemon, but only ever of the cute and fluffy vareity.
.Lucky
During his travels, he always attracts an Absol. Honestly, he could start a whole pack if he bothered to catch them
Though he does end up wholly adopting a Porygon that helps with computer work often
.K.K.
She ends up worrying so much over getting a Pokemon that she truly worries herself sick
But when an Aipom jumps up on her shoulder, looking for safety from a big cat (a regular, albeit unpleasant cat) K.K. shoos the cat and falls for the new nuzzly companion
And the Aipom becomes a very good nanny for her kids, either getting K.K. in the dead of night, or trying to soothe the boys itself
.Gilbert
While he doesn’t adopt anything for himself, he does train a few Pokemon as part of being a Reinherz combat butler
He was deeply confused when his Eevee just started screaming at him while he was dressing. Only to find out that it wanted to wear a little bow tie as well
Gilbert should have been tipped off sooner by how it kept bringing him a bow tie, even after he put it away (yes, Klaus got a good chuckle out of this)
.Dog
He still can’t have his own Pokemon, but that doesn’t stop the same little Impidimp from finding him and following him everywhere it can
Little does Dog know, but Klaus keeps this Impidimp at the office for him… or at least tries to. The poor baby doesn’t know where Dog goes and spends a lot of time looking for Dog when he’s in jail
.Daniel
He volunteers to be part of a trial run for integrating Pokemon into the civil servants professions.
Part of this is fascination, part of it is to “one up” Libra as much as possible (He figures having trained Pokemon is a step up from just owning Pokemon)
His Pancham is a little derp-muffin though and when it isn’t time to get serious, it’s laying in Daniel’s lap
.Raju
Raju accidentally became a trainer when he smacked a Charizard on the snout. But to be fair, the Charizard roared first.
But it followed Raju because nothing else had ever stood up to it like that. And Raju just gave it some food because it followed him.
Raju ends up being the only real trainer early on because of this pattern of behavior. And ends up carrying a bag full of carved spaces for the Pokemon that want to go with him to sleep in.
.Femt
He ends up being the biggest help against underground Pokemon fight rings because he respects how much chaos Pokemon can cause just by existing
Though he does adopt a good number of strays from all over the city, any kind of Pokemon.
He treats them all like little babies (and is the most consistent between V1 & 2)
.Aligula
She doesn’t really care, at first. Then she notices an adorable little Munchlax and adopts it on the spot.
Though, that’s the only Pokemon she adopts. Despite other cute and pink Pokemon existing, Aligula ends up showering her Munchlax in so much attention that she doesn’t notice the others.
She doesn’t train her Munchlax at all, nor does she know that it swallowed an Everstone at one point (which was why the original trainer abandoned it)
.*Normally I wouldn’t bring up Black or White, let alone their family but… Due to the Macbeth family living in a rural area, once enough research was out. Black and White’s parents started raising Wooloo and Dubwool, even adopting a Yamper that evolved to help tend the two flocks of sheep. Though when Black and White were about 9-10 years old, White found a Plusle and Minun that were both injured. As much as Black tried to talk her out of it, White spurred him into helping her carry them back to their house to at least get them some help. The Plusle and Minun didn’t leave their sides until Black couldn’t handle seeing them after Despair killed White. Though when Black returns to Hellsalem’s Lot, he does reclaim both as his own Pokemon. Very grateful that Leo took such good care of them.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Libra it’s own organization of experienced battlers that help both the Diamond and Pearl clans, as well as the Ginko guild and Galaxy expedition team. They have very little interest in completing a Pokedex, yet still assist Professor Laventon when they can. Often seen as the Alpha Hunters, Libra as a whole is better equipped to handle all wild Pokemon and offer frequent assistance to the nobles and guardians. Their main camp/base of operations is high in the secluded Clamber Claw Cliffs in Coronet Highlands. In terms of the game’s mechanics, ALL their Pokemon are fully trained on the Grit items and know all the teachable moves. They would have been a reoccurring test of strength for the player with their levels scaling accordingly. However their range sits at a decent level 75-90 in post game. This will denote the main team order is as listed; starting with the ace (the closest in relevancy to their blood abilities) and which ever type diverse team they would carry on hand. Along with a list of other Pokemon more based around personal preference, blood ability, and area they prefer to train in..KlausPreferred Areas: Crimson Mirelands; Cottonsedge Prairie, Cornet Highlands; Celestica TrailTeam: Gallade, Goodra, Roseade, Hippowdon, Togekiss, OctilleryOthers: Steelix, Decidueye, Sylveon, Drapion, Leafeon, Dusknoir, Chimecho, Pachirisu, Gengar, Lilligant, Blissey, Vaspiqueen, Golem, Torterra.Extra Story:
Often trains himself just as much as his Pokemon in general strength training regimens like long runs, climbing up sheer cliff faces, and the occasional swim.
Is often underestimated for his gentle demeanor, but can be outright ruthless in battle, though he does pamper his Pokemon a little after particularly rough battles.
.StevenPreferred Areas: Alabastor Icelands; Secret Hollow, Cornet Highlands; Celestica RuinsTeam: Glaceon, Zoroark, Lucario, Luxray, Sneazler, LilligantOthers: Froslass, Abomasnow, Samurott, Gardevior, Braviary, Basculegion, Wyrdeer, Mismagius, Whiscash, Clefable, Crobat, Drapion, Magnezone, Gliscor.Extra Story:
His Froslass simply wouldn’t leave him alone one trip to the Icelands, so he caught it to ensure he didn’t wind up it’s prey.
He has seen an “evolution dance” of the Clefairy in Coronet Highlands.
.LeoPreferred Areas: Obsidian Fieldlands; Sandgem Flats, Cobalt Coastlands; Aipom HillTeam: Staraptor, Infernape, Raichu, Toxicroak, Togekiss, VaporeonOthers: Arcanine, Overquil, Lucario, Rhyperior, Ambipom, Dusknoir, Honchkrow, Snorlax, Weavile, Biberal, Alakazam, Golduck, Parascect, Gastrodon.Extra Story:
Was one of the first in Libra to explore a space-time distortion and managed to catch a Johtonian Sneazle that way.
Spends almost too much time in the Sandgem Flats area and often just sits, staring at the small cave on Lake Verity.
.ZappPreferred Areas: Crimson Mirelands; Holm of Trails, Alabastor Icelands; Bonechill WastelandsTeam: Magmortar, Garchomp, Typhlosion, Gallade, Porygon Z, MamoswineOthers: Skuntank, Torterra, Lickilicky, Goodra, Drifblim, Flareon, Sudowoodo, Ninetails, Kleavor, Scizor, Walrien, Lucario, Glalie, Snorlax.Extra Story:
Thinks Goodra is too derpy a Pokemon to use too often, but still has a soft spot for the one he trained.
Ends up using his Typhlosion more than his Magmortar simply because of the Ghost typing, but his Magmotar was his starter Pokemon.
.ZedPreferred Areas: Cobalt Coastlands; Deadwood Haunt, Crimson Mirelands; Cloudpool RidgeTeam: Mantine, Arcanine, Walrien, Tangrowth, Crobat, UrsalunaOthers: Machamp, Mothim, Golem, Clefable, Gastrodon, Lumineon, Tentacruel, Golduck, Floatzel, Yanmega, Umbreon, Vaporeon, Kricketune, Luxray.Extra Story:
Zed was originally a human diver, but a “freak accident” led Arceus to altering his DNA to let him breathe underwater, which altered his appearance some. (though now his gills are internal so he doesn’t needto live in water)
He actually prefers to train in the area this occurred in, hoping to find some answers as to why he was spared by Arceus.
.ChainPreferred Areas: Obsidian Fieldlands; Horseshoe Plains, Coronet Highlands; Clamber Claw CliffsTeam: Mismagius, Wyrdeer, Gliscor, Zoroark, Sneazler, LuxrayOthers: Gengar, Blissey, Beautifly, Drifblim, Sylveon, Cherrim, Mr. Mime, Bronzong, Garchomp, Decidueye, Drapion, Electivire, Electrode, Sandy Cloak Wormadam.Extra Story:
Her proclivity for Ghost types makes people fear her a little bit.
Though anyone who knows her well, knows that she prefers cute, fluffy, and cuddly Pokemon.
.DogPreferred Areas: Obsidian Fieldlands; Floaro Gardens, Alabator Icelands; Heart’s CraigTeam: Machamp, Snorlax, Pachirisu, Beautifly, Sylveon, TangrowthOthers: Infernape, Kleavor, Dustox, Heracross, Chatot, Biberal, Steelix, Gardevoir, Gallade, Ninetails, Froslass, Lopunny, Blissey, Electivire.Extra Story:
Dog didn’t realize how many of his Pokemon would end up humanoid, nor how feminine they would look. He caught most of them as their pre-evolved forms.
The Froslass he mistook why it was following him to begin with, and caught her. Not that the Pokemon minds at all.

While he isn’t curse with bad luck from blood breeds, Arceus did curse him so hardly anyone would fully believe him. This happened because Lucky was getting far too close to the truth of its involvement with the rifts and other terrible things happening.
Lucky studies most every ruin and temple he can. Along with the strange carvings around the region.
.GilbertPreferred Areas: Coronet Highlands; Fabled Spring, Crimson Mirelands; Gapejaw BogTeam: Espeon, Floatzel, Bronzong, Decidueye, Flareon, Ursaluna.Others: Clefable, Abomasnow, Garchomp, Yanmega, Rapidash, Rampardos, Machamp, Toxicroak, Alakazam, Vespiqueen, Gardevoir, Gallade, Whiscash, Steelix.Extra Story:
He mostly stays close to the base of operations to help manage everyone’s Pokemon.
His Alakazam often ferries Pokemon (and the notes requesting Pokemon) for everyone in Libra.

She often stays in lofty places to work on her marksmanship because before she came to Hisui, she had to defend the village from Pokemon with bow and arrow.
She didn’t even get a Pokemon until she came to Hisui and started exploring, when she was approached by a friendly Aipom.

When not training, Daniel often offers his help to travelers. Whether that ends up being directions, medical aid, or an escort to the nearest settlement.
He was once a member of the Diamond Clan, but joined Libra after Adaman became the leader. They clashed horridly with one another due to Adaman’s insistence on not wasting time, since most of what Daniel thought was worth while Adaman considered a waste of time.

Raju was just a hermit living in the Clamber Claw Cliffs when Libra went to set up their base of operations. Raju begrudgingly joined so he could seek out other secluded areas.
Unfortunately for Raju, there weren’t many places like that in the region once so many people started coming by boat.

He joined Libra simply because he couldn’t stand any of the other clan’s leaders.

She only joined Libra to be closer with Dog. She does her best to impress him with her cuteness and prowess.
Since she didn’t experiment on Dog (and Deldro doesn’t exist technically) There’s not much keeping them apart except how he has so many feminine Pokemon that she mistakes as stealing his attention.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Klaus having a Hydregion that clamps onto his shoulders and grooms the back of his head near constantly. Maybe it was a stray he found outside the office, maybe it was a gift from his grandfather, either way, there is no escaping the big baby..Steven having to put on music and dancing around the living room with his Hisuian Liligant, Quaxquaval, Smoochum, and Oricorio (Baile Style) while wearing a Roomba outfit. [Because exotic birds need a lot of social interaction like that].Zed eventually getting his own place with a massive fish tank for him and his Pokemon. Looking like a bizarre koi pond while he reads and absently pets his Goldeen and Lotad..Chain just snuggling her Furfrou. She swears she’ll take it to get a nice haircut… eventually. For now, its messy and Chain is burying her face in the fluffy fur..RIP Zapp, he failed to train his Tyrantrum and now it just chomps him. Cue Jaws theme, or maybe Jurassic Park, cause his T-Rex is sneaking up on him to gently chomp his head and shoulders. (Much like James and his Victreebel). Only for Zapp to get free… then licked by big baby wagging its large tail. RIP Zapp….Leo thought Sonic was a bottomless pit, but boy was he wrong. This baby Riolu puts Sonic to shame… maybe its because Leo rescued the little bipedal pup from the streets but still. This fry thievery won’t stand! …okay, one more fry. But that’s it!.Gilbert being screamed at by a tiny cat (Espurr) because it wants a bowtie. That’s all.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

KlausTeaches Foreign Languages, and his classroom has a small shelf of various small plants and one large fern behind his desk. His class remains quiet despite his calm and friendly demeanor because of his appearance. Though he is also the main counselor due to how few classes he actually teaches, and all the kids are far less afraid of him when sitting down..StevenTeaches Musical Theatre, and controls his class with glances and a reversible plushie called Mr. Fruple (a little cat head with one rainbow smiling side and one black angry side). There are legends of his coffee mug being fused to his hand and several doubting teachers that don’t see how a little plush controls a class so well. His desk fences off a single corner of the room and he has to sit with his back to the wall just to get into the little space. All his students wonder how he hasn’t spilled coffee all over himself while doing this..LeoTeaches Journalism with photojournalism as a special side. Most of his classroom is dedicated to the yearbook and school newsletters, though he does have a small section of “reject” articles and novels as part of the creative writing lesson that comes with the class. Often mistaken for a fellow student so much that he has to constantly wear a name tag and considers discrete heels. Sonic has a little pet bed on the corner of his desk, next to the printer… the heat source..ZappTeaches Auto Shop. Encourages his students to bring in weird projects and usually has some “big” projects for the classes to take on as a whole. Somehow has a never-ending supply of old beater cars to be restored. Is an absolute terror to all the other teachers, especially Klaus. He was the one who gave Steven Mr. Fruple..ZedTeaches Literature with a special focus on themes and historical pieces. Occasionally has to teach from inside a massive tank in the room. Otherwise, his classroom is just endless shelves of books with a wall dedicated to the poetry and works his students hand in as assignments..ChainTeaches Math, specifically Geometry and Trigonometry. Usually pops up out of nowhere and scares her class every single time. Most every student wonders if she is just the embodiment of math itself because of how she never seems to show any emotion..DogTeaches Art with Deldro (yes they are two separate people in this AU). Most every lesson starts with Dog in the middle of the tables just painting or drawing, captivating all the students, and usually is something to do with the lesson Deldro means to teach. Aligula stalks the classroom because she likes both (though she’s with Deldro shocker)..LuckyTeaches History, typically world history and cultures still in practice today. Somehow everyone’s favorite history teacher due to the weird things that always happen. Lucky has had to teach in complete darkness, with older tech while Yurian tries to fix the modern equipment, and outside because of a small fire starting on his desk. Makes for a very entertaining class since the teacher has to work around all these setbacks..PatrickTeaches Economics, specifically around running a successful business. It takes the students a little to get used to Patrick’s bombastic personality, but most end up really enjoying being in his class. He uses all sorts of real-world applications for the broader concepts and had the students running little shops with the administration’s permission/ oversight to get hands-on practice..NeykaTeaches Construction, more towards welding than woodworking. Though she’s always quiet and usually snacking on something, all the students can understand her perfectly. She works with Zapp a lot and has dragged him around in a headlock on multiple occasions for stealing her tools. Something many of the students have openly chuckled at, calling Neyka “Ms. Mighty Mouse”.K.K.Teaches Home Economics and Sex Ed, since sex ed is only for a month in the year. Is very often joined by Klaus as a teaching assistant, leading to many students learning that Klaus has pink aprons. K.K. is almost too good at patrolling for bullying around the school and has single-handedly made so many students think of her as their own mother, the one teacher that everyone has called “mom” at least once or twice. She accepts this and treats them as her own kids when the mistake is made..GilbertTeaches Band, both orchestral and marching band. Every student wonders why he’s wrapped in so many bandages, and how such an elderly man can play the tuba so loudly whilst marching around. No one crosses Mr. Gilbert, no one..YurianTeaches Computer Lab and Technology classes. The students who manage to pass the first firewall on the computers are added to a list, and if they manage to figure out the second one then they get asked to show their work. As firewall detection and bypassing are both secret projects that hardly anyone manages to complete. Though no one ever has or ever will get past the third firewall..Dr. EstevezTeaches Health and the school nurse. Also enforces any teacher bans and general rules around the school. Most students never figure out that the mini versions are part of the adult form of Dr. Estevez and don’t know how she’s capable of finding out everything she does. Though she is very well known for having the worst tasting medicines ever..DanielTeaches P.E. and coaches the football team. Marcus coaches baseball and basketball but doesn’t teach. Daniel is considered the toughest teacher in the school, just behind Raju. None of the students really like Daniel but they all enjoy the various lessons on the different sports..RajuTeaches Religion, especially ancient religions no longer in practice. None of the students have ever seen his true face so there are obvious rumors of him having been cursed. Other students think its a cultural practice like a shaman of a native tribe. None of them have ever seen him come from behind his desk before, so they don’t know he floats, just that he only has one arm and a tall cane. Raju writes all that day’s notes before class begins so his students never see him floating around, and if he needs to have extra notes on the board then he has a projector and a laptop..FemtTeaches Science, just not Biology. Both he and Aligula are banned from the biology labs for the same reasons. Most of the students are leery of Femt due to his eccentric sense of humor, while others find him entertaining. A lot of the lessons are loaded with real-world applications since he wants the students to try this and cause chaos..AligulaTeaches Interior Design and Fashion Design. Two similar elective courses that rarely get any students, but still enough to keep the courses open. All the students that take the class wonder why all the assignments are about one specific style, but they get points for their creativity and own styles regardless if they match Aligula’s personal style.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

KlausUses a plant style deck (similar to Akiza Izinski in 5D’s), but with his main cards falling to Twilight Rose Knight, Cactus Fighter, and his final ace Tytannial Princess of Camelias. One of his favorite cards to play is Numinous Healer (a trap card to increase life points).StevenUses a Blue Eyes Dragon/ Blue Eyes Ultimate Deck (Very much just Seto Kaiba’s Blue Eyes Ultimate deck). Though with a good number of Change of Hearts that serve as his back bone cards while he sets up Blue Eyes Ultimate..LeoUses a deck very similar to Yugi’s final deck. Where he has the Egyptian god cards and Exodia and being the resident nerd, Leo knows exactly how to use these cards and manages to summon them quickly..ZappUses an Elemental Hero deck that relies too much on Polymerization. Though he can still pull consistent wins after key parts of his fused plans get discarded..ZedHe has six different elemental decks built around the Spirit Art cards. He will try to guess which deck is best against someone and is usually correct, though he is great at strategizing and overcoming someone who would have an advantage..ChainUses a Fem Fatale Deck, a large mix from Dark Magician Girl to Amazonian, and so on. While her strategy is a bit confusing with how diverse her deck is, she always manages to win… somehow.DogUses an Ojama Trio deck (I remember it was the dark-haired kid in 5Ds… er the school-based one. But I can’t remember his name to save my life) Though he isn’t very good at dueling, might collect the cards later though, they look interesting..GilbertUses Yugi’s original deck. Kuribo is his best friend and becomes his most potent card during duels. Often as a sacrificial monster, but giving up a one-star monster for an eight-ten star monster is quite the play..K.K.Uses a Crystal Beast Deck. While it isn’t the most powerful, she makes it work through a lot of spells and traps..LuckyUses a Vampire Deck, with a healthy mix of D. monsters (Lord of D. and such) With such a heavy focus on hemorrhaging his opponent’s LP and a knack for crippling everything on the field with a series of spells that work in his favor. When he isn’t distracted by the text on the bottom of the card.DanielUses Joey’s deck, the version with Jinzo in it. Thousand Year Dragon and Time Wizard do most of the heavy lifting though. He tries using other strategies and decks, but he always changes it back to this so….FemtUses a Toon deck (very much like Pegasus). He has a counter for almost everything and a toon version of almost every other card. Loves the chaos of the toons and how easy it is to turn someone’s powerful monsters against them in a duel..AligulaUses a Harpy Ladies/ Sisters Deck. (Mai Valentine’s Deck) Loves taking out everything with Harpy Ladies’ Hunting Ground as often as she can and exclusively uses the Harpy Ladies, Harpy Lady Sisters, and Harpy Girl monster cards..RajuNever got into this like everyone else did + the duel disk doesn’t fit his arm, so he doesn’t have anything interesting to add past this.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

KlausSemblance: Sheer Determination; By activating his aura, Klaus can increase his physical strength by nearly 10x without damaging himself.Weapon: He still has his knuckleduster, but doesn’t use it. Instead he prefers his war hammer shotgun (Frieden). He preferrs to use an array of dust, never using one element over the others too often.Academy: Atlas Academy (he went before General Ironwood became headmaster)Team: Klaus was the leader and tank of the team.Story: He wasn’t close to Ironwood, but did know him. Managed to get into Oz’s inner circle despite running his own massive squad (Libra) and knows as much about Salem as Qrow did before Ruby asked Jinn..StevenSemblance: Freezer Burn; Able to withstand below freezing far longer than someone using just their aura as a shield.Weapon: Twin sniper greaves (Esmerelda Twins) with heavy use of ice dust crystals. Each shot from his greaves holds enough dust to freeze the field or create large pillars of ice, depending on the round he loads. Though one is loaded with each type of round, left freezes the field and right creates pillars.Academy: Shade Academy (Vacuo)Team: Leader and snipe shot.Story: First met Klaus as an underclassman during the Vytal festival. Knows everything Klaus knows and usually stays near HQ in Argus..LeoSemblance: Truthful Gaze; he can see bits of truth float around a person when he activates his aura. This also allows him to target a Grimm’s weak spot instantlyWeapon: A standard set of pistols. Just twin revolvers that can use dust.Academy: Beacon (He graduated just before the fall of Beacon)Team: Was a bit of the fodder teammate since none of his team knew anything about the Silver eyes and Oz didn’t pick up on it because Leo wasn’t much of a trouble maker.Story: He and Michella have Silver eyes. But after an attack by Tyrian, Michella ended up blinded. Tyrian was severely punished for this. He went out seeking Maria Calivera to see what happened to the legendary Grimm Reaper in the hopes of restoring Michella’s sight even if she can’t have her Silver eyes back..ZappSemblance: Temperament; The angrier he is, the more powerful the dust he uses becomes. The dust in his blades can just about melt the blades themselves if he’s really ticked off.Weapon: Twin Blades attached by a chain. One is a great sword hiding a rifle the other is a saber fitted with a flint lock pistol. He uses specifically fire and explosive dust crystals that allow the effects of which can either be fired from the gun portion or run the length of the blade to burn his opponent.Academy: Haven AcademyTeam: The hot head, gungho, shoot first, spearhead. Often had whole plans based around his fighting style just to avoid him blowing everything.Story: Was on his leg during an attack when Klaus stepped in to save him. That sparks Zapp wanting to kill Klaus because of his pride. Though he does want to help stop Salem, even if he doesn’t know what he’s stopping Salem for..ZedSemblance: Control; allows him to bend air and water around his gills when needed.Weapon: a simple trident (Shinatobe) with a heavy use of wind dust for accuracy.Academy: Haven AcademyTeam: Had been the strategist, though not ever truly taken seriously because he was still a Faunis.Story: Was an aquatic Faunis with only arm fins. But was among the first to be experimented on by Salem to give him a more animalistic appearance. Oz found him first, but was quick to ask Klaus to help assess his skills..ChainSemblance: Weightless; she can still diminish her physicality the same as an invisible werewolfWeapon: A very simple short sword belt that can extend into a whip sword for longer ranged combat, and a proclivity for gravity dust, embedded in her shoes. Plus her semblance means she fights like a manic pixie.Academy: Shade Academy (Vacuo)Team: Was the surprise element on her team and specialized in sneaking aroundStory: She was trying to help with a Grimm hoard when Steven and Klaus noticed her. She agreed to join Libra and learned about Salem through them..K.K.Semblance: Sharp Shooter; Has perfect aim with a gun.Weapon: Massive customizable guns with attachments/modes to make it a sniper rifle, a pistol, a shotgun, or a grenade launcher with a preference for electric dust. Often fires several rounds in anticipation where the enemy falls back to.Academy: Atlas AcademyTeam: The sharp shooter of the team who could easily get up close and personal in a heartbeat.Story: Knew Ironwood and Klaus as underclassmen. Was able to get close enough to join Libra close to its inception..GilbertSemblance: Focus; when he aura is activated, he can focus on targets, works similarly to K.K.’s Sharp ShooterWeapon: A Crossbow. Each bolt can be outfitted with different dust crystal headsAcademy: He was a little too old to have attended an Academy when they were established.Team: Never was part of team of huntsmen, served in the Great War as a linesmen (since he uses crossbow he would be treated like a regular shooter)Story: He served in the Great War under that version of Oz, then opted for a more simplistic life as a Combat Butler for the Reinherz family.LuckySemblance: Destruction; the literal translation of his bad luck curse.Weapon: his briefcase can become a Gatling gun. Though he rarely uses his weapon as he is more of a strategist.Academy: BeaconTeam: He was lowkey exiled from his team due to his passive Semblance, though they did push him into the finals of each Vytal festival tournament because his bad luck would always result in his victory.Story: He trained a lot on his own, which seemed off to everyone who wasn’t on his team. Klaus ended up training with him once before he graduated, and proceeded to train with him often as he tracked down Blood Breed Grim..DogSemblance: Bulk Armor; literally another verbatim translation since Aligula still experimented on him and Deldro.Weapon: Repressor Gauntlets. He can fire small dust crystals when not using his aura ability.Academy: ShadeTeam: He was the team power houseStory: He was rescued from Aligula after being experimented on. Klaus and Oz both offered him a place to go, but he chose to go with Libra, the people who saved him. Though he laments not being able to save his friend Hazel..DanielSemblance: Dragon Shout; activating his aura allows him to deafen and push back opponents with massive vocal shock wavesWeapon: A set of four standard dust revolvers. Each has a different mm for damage outputs (against different Grim), and he prefers to use every kind of dust other than gravity.Academy: Atlas AcedemyTeam: He was the leader, but no one took him very seriouslyStory: He was a member of the Ace Ops until Clover took the helm. Then he stepped down just before the events of Vol 7 & 8 (to avoid major spoilers and because he and Ironwood didn’t see eye to eye about the embargoes or flight bans).RajuSemblance: Delay; he can activate dust and in any form on commandWeapon: Most would think his cane, but he just chucks dust and dust crystals at Grim. He prefers to use fire and wind dust, being among the easiest to get ahold of.Academy: Never attended oneTeam: Was never part of oneStory: He knows of Salem and actively ignores her and Libra unless he needs to interfere. He never went to any huntsman academy, but that doesn’t stop him from hunting Grim. Especially since Oz knows about him and has had zero luck in recruiting Raju..FemtSemblance: Precursor; has tiny glimpses into the future. He can’t control these as it is a passive ability, but he does use it to his advantage in the few fights he ends up in and to “test” certain parts of his experiments. Though he refuses to rely on his semblance (it messes with his chaos)Weapon: Wires. A very simple weapon, but can be “bathed” in dust that activates upon aura being channeled throughAcademy: Haven AcademyTeam: He was the chaotic energy, no one on his team ever could keep up with himStory: Despite attending a huntsman academy, he jointed Salem because it seemed fun. Much like Tyrian, whom he gets a long with swimmingly (though clashes horridly with Watts) he likes causing trouble for the sake of chaos. Salem has taken a particular interest in his experiments, using them as a base for her own Grim creations..AligulaSemblance: Fixation; a passive semblance that forces her to focus when she starts projects, causing her to forget to eat or sleep until she has nothing left to do. Though breaking her aura stops it prematurely and allows her to go on with other things. And it only activates when she has a goal in mind, ie; her experiments on people or plots to retrieve Dog and Deldro.Weapon: Dual gauntlets with massive claws. both can grind dust crystals and shoot the dust in a large puff of smoke.Academy: Didn’t attend oneTeam: Was never part of one, though was part of the White Fang for a short periodStory: She never went to an academy, instead learning to fight because she’s a Faunis that can pass for human (a dragon Faunis with small scales). But, her experimentation with humans… specifically merging Dog and Deldro, caught Salem’s attention and Aligula became a sort of second hand in experimenting with Silver-Eyed Warriors. Though Salem has promised to help her (or at least not hinder her) in catching Dog and Deldro.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

KlausThe second largest (just behind Dog) and the one with the least amount of flight response. His knuckleduster is just a discarded cross necklace that he found. Very protective of the other Speed Monkeys and won’t hesitate to rally the rest of Libra to help with things..StevenHe has to constantly find something to activate Esmerelda Blood Freeze, though it has such a limited range that he’s more effective just kicking his opponents… No one knows that the excess shadows tailing him are actually his goon squad. Only really loyal to and protective over Klaus..LeoThe smallest little monkey and the one who is constantly and consistently in trouble the most. Squints mostly because of all the sand that gets in his eyes until he found a pair of toy goggles to wear..ZappLil terrorist. Sets fire to a lot of things without activating his blood technique. Usually causing trouble for everyone (especially Klaus and Leo) and gets pissed when little kids call him a “Shiny”. But will do whatever you want for enough bananas..ZedThe calmest of them all, but that’s because he’s a hybrid of Speed Monkey and Sea Monkey. Can breathe both air and water without equipment and has little issue swimming versus jumping (though he hates running with wet fur). He will not hesitate to use his blood trident (especially to snag food from far off)..ChainThe most silent of them all, always sneaking around and getting things she wants. Has a massive stash of broken, shiny junk hidden in a little alcove very well hidden from prying eyes..DogThe largest and sweetest little monkey, except for Deldro being his blood. Usually very popular with small children because of his tame demeanor as he is always getting petted and given treats. Up until Deldro pops out… with his background being very similar with Aligula meshing the two together through (whatever method she was able to do).GilbertA very skinny monkey, also a hybrid with natural regenerative abilities. Has looked after Klaus since he was young and keeps up with a small, abandoned playhouse for the Libra Monkeys to gather at. He manages to find all the best food (but almost forces everyone to share if it weren’t for Klaus being just as stubborn about that)..K.K.Constantly throwing things that look like guns at people to protect other Monkeys. Keeps up with a large brood of Monkeys as her family, and Libra as a secondary family. As soon as she finds/ makes ‘working’ guns, she just keeps up with a ton of rocks to fire..LuckyOne of the most serious Monkeys, always carrying a toy suitcase full of scraps of paper from different restaurants so he remembers where the best dumpsters are. Goes all over the city and only occasionally runs with the rest of Libra..DanielAnnoyed by all the other Monkeys and tries to avoid them… doesn’t work at all since he gets into a lot of trouble. Just grumpy all the time and grumbling whenever he has to play nice with Libra..RajuVicious Monkey, will not play nice… unless you have food. He fights all the time and has lost feet from having to escape traps. But he still has blood abilities to keep moving and stealing food. Doesn’t associate with Libra much… but has been around Zapp and Zed enough to teach them how to survive..FemtAn actual little terrorist trying to cause as much chaos as his little paws can. Can and will bite people, even if given food. Has no problem with releasing all the animals in shelters and pet shops..AligulaConstantly stalking Dog and being a little terrorist about it. High-speed races through the city trying to get him. She knows how to rig machinery and work vehicles.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Klaus
Patron diety of Nature (obviously)
Rarely visits the human plane himself but has thousands of helper sprites (Like Tinkerbell universe)
Can change the weather, grow plants, fertilize soil, all that good stuff
Dislikes that part of his job in keeping world balance includes plants dying, but he can’t keep it spring or summer forever
When he does visit, he ALWAYS forgets how large humans really are and ends up being much taller
Is usually accompanied by a flurry of leaves and flower petals and leaves trails of growing plants in his shoe prints
Is revered as one of the kindest Gods and his shrines are often large pergolas full of vegitation native to the area
People often leave pots of soil near these shrines in hopes of him visiting and gifting a beautiful, rare flower/tree/fruit of vegetable plant in times of need (he can’t help himself in fulfilling these prayers)
.Steven
Patron diety of Winter specifically (technically one tier under Klaus) Also considered a Traveler diety due to his companions
Visits the human world more often than Klaus, but not by much since he doesn’t have helpers or even need to visit to take control over the season
Does have two large wolves that are depicted in carvings and statues (they act as guardians and transport)
Of couse, he controls ice….and rain. Though that’s a far lesser known power of his
During his visits, he purposely makes himself slightly larger than humans
There’s a chill that clings to his being and no matter what season it is, he leaves a trail of hard ice where his feet fall
Is thought to be the harshest God and has several legends alluding to him doling out harsh punishments to those who sin or otherwise break the law (poor Steven isn’t evil…..he just looks that way)
His shrines are typically full of carvings of various legends about how his ice saved humans from over bearing autumn heat and large pillars of perma ice for people to carve wishes and prayers onto (asking for rain or snow or just protection during travels)
.Leo
Patron diety of Medicine, especially eye sight
Is the second most frequent visitor to the human world and has a disguise so good that no one would ever believe a God could be so small (Leo is NOT short….he just doesn’t wanna intimidate people)
Has some helpers he can send out in the world, they take on the appearance of birds. He also has three companions, a snow white monkey (for rapid healing….hi Sonic), a large fluffy dog (for mental health and relaxation…..hi Michella), and a two headed snake (for man made remedies….hi Black, hi White)
He is often also associated with underdog bravery and unyeilding spirit since most of his legends have him facing down large beasts (depictions of every known aliment)
Is thought to be the sweetest of the dieties and his shrines are often scattered with notes of prayer and thanks though the shrines themselves are usually small wooden houses
He can grow medicinal plants and impart wisdom through similar notes left in hospitals (usually to doctors like Dr. Estevez who truly try to help others) about various cures and treatments
Leaves trails of medicinal supplies (animal parts, plants, anything that can be used as medicine) and has a rather warm presence
Often leaves help on people’s door steps because he can’t stop himself from doing so
.Zapp
Patron diety of the Bedroom (well, actually Fertility…..he’s basically Zeus)
Visits the mortal plane so often the other Gods forget about him…..but he doesn’t care about it, he has several half-blood children but no one knows about them
Despite the frequent visits, his appearance is purposefully misleading since the carvings are of a massively muscular guy and not a lean guy
His legends depict him giving blessings of strong offspring to young mothers but he really doesn’t discriminate. He also guards over all pregnant women of every species (His Achilles heel)
While he does have the ability to grant fertility to all living creatures, he also has the ability to inspire real love in humans (also a little Cupid in there)
His shrines are usually small stone temples full of dangling lanterns marked with prayers and wishes (the begining of clubs)
He leaves trails of ‘love’ plants either heart shaped or aphrodisiac
Is considered the most protective diety, at least to those whom are worthy
Gives into his Achilles heel too often and bullies the other deities into helping before the baby is due (if the help isn’t in his range of abilities to put into motion)
.Zed
Pateon diety of Knowledge
Only visits the mortal plane when necessary, his helpers often take care of everything else (they take the form of aquatic foxes Vaporeon)
Is considered the most removed diety, despite being associated with truth seeking, honesty, and the arts
His legends often depict struggles against metaphysical issues like dishonesty, creator’s block, and mental stress.
No one knows he has a fishy guise and carve him out to be a buff human in a flowing robe (old-school wizard/warrior)
His shrines are often filled with empty books and spare parchment and look like small scale libraries with large, soft wood pillars
Many who ask his blessing are seeking knowledge themselves or hoping to break from a slump (and are often tandem with requests to Leo)
When he does visit, he leaves trails of puddles in his wake, often housing the tiniest of tadpoles and koi fish
There is one legend that should one ever find these trails and adopt the aquatic creatures inside, they are likely to recieve a marvelous blessing…..and the new pet grows nearly twice the size of any normal version (healithily, there have been frauds claiming to own frogs and koi that ended up dead from overfeeding)
Zed often does seek Leo’s advice on whether to answer these prayers, usually giving in to Leo’s help everyone mentality

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Klaus: Earth/ Metal-A similar family to the Beifong family.Steven: Water- Descended from the Northern water tribe. Can blood bend but chooses not to..Leo: Non-Bender- His eyes are another “Avatar” esk trait that can instantly tell what one’s bending style is without them having to use it.Zapp: Fire- He can lightening bend, he is just too lazy to do so..Zed: Air- His base human form (before becoming a blood breed’s science project) was an air bender, to begin with. Under Raju’s training, Zed was somewhat remerged with his human soul, allowing for him to bend again..Chain: Water- Descended from the Southern water tribe. Is more prone to blood bending opponents, but isn’t very good at it and requires a full moon..Dog: Earth/ Lava- Deldro was a Fire bender before Aligula merged the two, allowing Dog to bend lava naturally..Lucky: Non-Bender- He just can’t bend anything. His research is all he needs. (And if he could set things on fire, this would be a lot harder).Gilbert: Air- (Imma be real, I struggled with this and kept going back and forth about Gilbert being a Non-bender as well so its anyone’s guess why he’d be an air bender).K.K.: Fire/ Lightening- She really overdoes it with the lightening bending..Daniel: Earth/ Metal: Like most every other police officer, Daniel focuses on metal bending but has used his quick think to ground people (*badum tss* okay I’ll see myself out).Raju: Uh… Raju’s just a spirit. Similar to Wong Shi Tong, he wanders the mortal realm. But he’s more like a Lion Turtle in that he can unlock different forms of bending in people. If He really wanted to make Zapp behave, than all he’d have to do is make him a Water bender for a day or two.Femt: Air- He takes the whole, zero attachments thing a little too seriously and is one of the very few air benders capable of genuine flight. Though he finds it too boring and is always coming up with different ways to use his bending for chaos instead..Aligula: Combustion- (C'mon, how could I not? She’s got that big eye right in the middle of her mask it was too easy!) She rarely ever uses her bending unless she’s deeply upset because she hasn’t figured out how to control the blasts to use with her machines.
