The round had started, Savanna didn't know what they were feeling. A strange pull towards the knife in the side of their pocket. As if someone was pulling them on strings and guiding them to the edge.Savanna walked down a narrow corridor, Sunstar at their side. Their conversation was not really accounted for as they were kicking their feet back and forth, fiddling with the flower in their hair.Sunstar later stopped at a box on the side of the wall. What felt like a wave came over Savanna, as they pulled out the knife, stabbing it into the side of Sunstars neck then again into their chest. A scream was attempted, but quickly muffled with Savanna pushing Sunstar back into a door frame, their corpse splayed across the floor.“Oh I'm so sorry-” Savanna whispered, smiling, blood trickling down the knife, and pooling on the floor and splattered across the wall. They quickly hopped into the vent, heading back to a room full of wires, each trailing along the floor. Astra was there. Flicking a few switches between things.Savanna looked down at their comm, and pressed a button, sending a signal to close the door Astra was in. Without Astra noticing, Savanna clambered out the vent. Astra turned back in horror, unsure of what was happening.“Savanna? What are yo-”Before they could continue any further, one of the floor wires was clutched tight in Savanna’s hand, and shortly around Astra’s neck. Astra tried to kick themselves away from Savanna's grip, but they were pushing them tight up against the panels. As choking sounds filled their ears they dropped them to the ground, smiling down at the corpse and laughing under their breath.“Just leave Sunny alone," they muttered.Savanna quickly wiped the blood from their face, smearing down the walls to make sure none remained on their hands and hopped back in the vent. They hopped out in a room with a lot of medical equipment and not too shortly after an alert was sent out on the comms. Someone had found where Sunstar was.Everyone was horrified to see Sunstars body being carried into the cafeteria by both Realm and Dawn, who were rightfully upset. Savanna looked away, not liking seeing the sight of blood. He was shortly comforted by Sunny, who they in turn helped, knowing that Sunstar was a close friend of theirs.“Wait where’s Astra?” Commented Realm, before peering down at their comm and noticing that Astra’s was offline. “Her comm is off, has anyone seen her?”The table was met with shaking heads before they collectively decided to go look for them. After not too long of looking, they found Astra on the south of the ship, tied up using electrical wires, bleeding across the floor. Many people stepped back, but Fal and Rima decided to try to aid them by taking them to med-bay.Soon after everyone had split off, and Savanna was heading around to the other side of the ship with Sunny, the light turned off, and everyone plummeted into darkness. The two headed back around to the room with the light box in and due to the darkness Savanna managed to slip off from Sunny and quickly ran towards the med-bay.He pulled out a gun from his other pocket and shot both Rima and Fal in the head, while they were trying to tend to the two who had died, and leaving them both to bleed out on the floor.Quickly they jumped in the vent, and back over to the room where the light box was and stood next to Sunny, just in time for when the lights were gonna turn on.“Finally the lights are on” Savanna complained, “It’s a pain not being able to see, I kept walking into door frames on the way here.”Soon after Madi walked in, looking relieved at seeing that everyone in that room was alive.“Thank goodness you two are okay.” Noted Madi, “Where are you two heading next?” “I was going to head round to the left, I have a few tasks left over there.” Added Savanna.“I was going to go back over to the right, I have a lot left over there.” Said Sunny.“I’ll head over with Savanna, are you okay on your own Sunny?” Asked Madi.Sunny nodded and the two headed back over to the left side.As the two were heading over, Savanna stopped to look around. No one there. However as he pulled out the knife from their pocket, the captain was running down the corridor, and out of their sight, realising what was about to happen. Before Savanna could catch up to Madi, an emergency meeting was called.“It’s Savanna!” Yelled Madi, “They pulled out a knife behind me, and were chasing me with it until I called this meeting!”Savanna tried to counter what Madi was saying, but instead gave up and walked over to Sunny.“Sunny, you wouldn’t do this right, it can be us two, alone in space. Nothing to worry about. Just two friends having a good time. You said you wanted to escape from it all, right Sunny?”Savanna looked into Sunny's eyes, pleading with them to let them both stay.“I’m so sorry.” Responded Sunny, looking down at the ground, not bearing to see the emotions in their friend. Before Savanna could say much more, they were in the airlock, then in space. Maybe they deserved this. Maybe it was too much to ask what they wanted.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
A new time round had started, everyone had scattered. Sunny had headed off with Realm and Sunstar soon decided to follow. However Sunstar did end up losing sight of Sunny, they ended up sitting in a room, talking and doing tasks with their other fish. Something had been whispered in Sunstars ear just before they had all split off. They were unsure of who said it, but it sounded a lot like if they were able to kill all the crew aboard, they would be able to leave the village. Sunstar wanted to see if this was true or not. An urge to get rid of everyone washed over them, pulling them towards a knife they had in their pocket.Realm was currently on the other side of the room. Although it was a small room, Sunstar pulled out the knife and hurled it in the direction of Realm, the blade hitting them in the back of the head. Sunstar pulled out the knife, and punctured it into their back before leaving them crippled on the floor, blood staining everything, pooling around the remaining corpse of their friend.Sunstar ran to a vent, sat there for a while, cleaning the blood off themself. They heard footsteps above and then someone cried in fear. Sunny had sent out a meeting on their comm, and as Sunny left, they hopped out of the vent and towards the meeting point. Most of the conversation they were having passed over Sunstar’s head. They weren’t hugely listening but one thing caught their attention. And they were not happy about it.“Sunny. You were the only one with Realm? How do we know you didn’t do it?” Suggested Dawn.A few mumbled agreements followed.Sunstar tried their best to help Sunny, but inevitably failed. The killer was still amongst them. The round continued. Everyone split off in different directions, and Sunstar was madder than ever. Anger was coursing through them, burning them into rage.Sunstar lurked around in the vents, trying to find anyone who could be an easy target. After a while they saw Dawn, in a room, watching the cameras, trying to figure out what was happening.Sunstar looked down at their comm and shut the door off to that room, the two looked around in panic before Sunstar climbed out of the vent, gun clutched in their hand, their eyes shifting to a misty shade of dark blue. Dawn was thrown back onto the table. Sunstar stood over them, pinning them down, gun pointed at their head. Before long blood was pooling on the floor and Savanna was watching far in the corner. They tried to stand quietly, avoiding Sunstars vision. However it was futile. The door was closed so Savanna could not run.“Don’t think I didn’t notice you there.” Said Sunstar, turning around to meet their terrified glance. Their tail wrapped around their neck, the grip tightening. Savanna cried out, trying to get someone's attention, but they struggled to breathe. Savanna was soon on the floor, over the top of Dawn's body.Sunstar skulked around for a while longer, removing anyone which came in their path.Fal.Then Conn.Astra followed. And many more after.A meeting was then soon called by Madi. “Okay, what the heck is even happening” exclaimed Rima.“We need to do something about this. There's only a few of us left.” Spoke Madi.“Was anyone with anyone this whole time?” Suggested Skya.“Everyone I was with I split off from, and when I went to find them again, they had died.” Said Sunstar, a grin hiding behind their eyes.“Same here.” Responded Rima.“Venus hasn’t said much?” noted Sunstar.Venus tried to articulate a response, but didn’t have much luck. They couldn’t remember where they were, nor had they seen many people this whole time.Venus pleaded that they were innocent, but it was too late. The round continued, everyone deeply confused about who it could be.Sunstars eyes shrouded the deep blue again and an object was pulled out of their pocket. Sunstar flipped it a few times and a long trident was clasped in their hand.“Sunstar what are you doing?!” Yelled Rima“Sunstar, this isn’t you!” Shouted MadiSkya tried to run to the button, but Sunstar had already turned off the lights.“Let's see who can run the fastest. Not that it'll matter of course. You'll all be dead soon enough." Sunstar laughed to herself. "I'll give you till three. One...Two...Three”The three scattered off towards the lights, but Madi got caught on one of the loose boxes on the way, ending up losing her footing and slipping onto the ground. They turned over only to see Sunstar looming over them.Madi tried to scream for help but a trident was plunged into their back and soon they slumped to the floor, blood spilling everywhere.“One down, two to go.” Whispered Sunstar, turning to see if she could hear the last two. After a while of slowly clambering their way around the ship, Sunstar spotted Skya, trying to get into electrical. Fortunately Sunstar had closed the door, easy work for them.A trident was chucked across the corridor, and straight into the back of their head. Skya was tossed into the wall by the force and bent down to whisper something in their ear.“This is for voting Sunny out. This is your own doing.”Sunstar turned around, hearing a clattering of something in the distance. Their glance shot to Rima, who was looking at them, standing over the corpse of Skya.“Sunstar stop!” Yelled Rima, “You don’t need to do this!”“I do!” Retaliated Sunstar, “If it wasn’t for your incompetence, then none of this would have happened!”The trident was again in their grasp, before it went flying across the corridor and directly into Rimas forehead.Everyone was gone.It was just Sunstar left. But they felt empty. They were left alone. They had been lied to.And everyone was going to pay.
