Voltron: Defenders of Berk Season One Crossovers Of: How To Train Your Dragon/Voltron: Legendary DefenderCHARACTER INFORMATION:  Hiccup - (How To Train Your Dragon) Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III is the main protagonist of the DreamWorks animated How to Train Your Dragon franchise . He is the son of Valka and the late Hooligan chief, Stoick the Vast , thus making him the heir, and later, the chief of the tribe. He is 15 years old in the first film , Dragons: Riders of Berk and Dragons: Defenders of Berk , 18 to 20 years old in Dragons: Race to the Edge , 20 years old in How to Train Your Dragon 2 , 21 years old in How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World , and 30 in the epilogue and Homecoming . His dragon and best friend, Toothless , is a Night Fury .

Toothless- (How To Train Your Dragon) Toothless is Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III's Night Fury and the main dragon character of the How to Train Your Dragonfranchise. By the end of the franchise, he not only becomes the Alpha of the dragons in the Hidden World, but also the mate of the Light Fury, the father of the Night Lights Dart, Pouncer, and Ruffrunner, and the ancestor of the Night Light Thunder. Astrid- (How To Train Your Dragon) Astrid Hofferson is a female Viking warrior of Clan Hofferson of the Hooligan Tribe. She is 15 years old in How to Train Your Dragon, Riders and Defenders of Berk, 18 in Dawn of the Dragon Racers, 18 and 19 in Dragons: Race to the Edge, 20 in How To Train Your Dragon 2, 21 in How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World and 30 in the epilogue and Homecoming. Keith- (Voltron: Legendary Defender) Keith is the current Paladin of the Black Lion of Voltron , and the former Paladin of the Red Lion as well. A man of few words and dry wit, Keith is a loner and rebel by nature with "discipline issues" that resulted in his expulsion from the Galaxy Garrison . He has stepped down as a Paladin to work for the Blade of Marmora, only to later regain his rank as the leader of Voltron.   Shiro- (Voltron: Legendary Defender) Takashi "Shiro" Shirogane , known to other slaves in the Galra arena as Champion , a skilled pilot of legendary reputation and the leader of the five Paladins of Voltron. He was the Paladin of the Black Lion of Voltron and then became the captain of the Atlas.

Lance- (Voltron: Legendary Defender) Lance is the Paladin of the Red Lion of Voltron and the former the Paladin of the Blue Lion. He is a self-described ladies' man and the self-named sharpshooter of the team. Pidge- (Voltron: Legendary Defender) Katie "Pidge" Holt is a former communications cadet at the Galaxy Garrison, and former pilot of the Green Lion of Voltron. She's an agile and strategic fighter, and a highly intelligent and versatile mathematician, hacker and inventor. In order to search for her missing family without being recognised, she enrolled into the Garrison under the fake name "Pidge Gunderson" and cut her hair short. The Garrison initially mistook her for a boy, which was fine with her because it helped to significantly lower the odds of her being recognised. It is only after she joined Voltron that she finally revealed her true identity, along with the fact that she is actually a girl. She's fiercely loyal to her friends and is an analytic and independent thinker. After season 8 Pidge left Voltron to follow her dreams Hunk-  (Voltron: Legendary Defender) Hunk is the beating heart of Voltron and a man of many talents. As well as a capable fighter, he's also a pilot, mentor, diplomat, engineer, and galaxy-renowned chef. He is the Paladin of the Yellow Lion of Voltron Snotlout- (How To Train Your Dragon) Snotlout Gary Jorgenson is a major character in the franchise . He first appeared in the first movie . He is 15 years old in the first film, first three shorts , and the first television series , 18 to 19 years old in Dragons: Race to the Edge and Dawn of the Dragon Racers , 20 years old in the sequel , and 21 years old in How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World . His dragon is a Monstrous Nightmare named Hookfang . Fishlegs- (How To Train Your Dragon) Fishlegs Justin Ingerman is Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III's closest friend in the franchise . He is a very sensitive, caring person, and has an incredible knowledge about dragons . He is 14 years old in the first film , three shorts , Riders , and in Defenders of Berk , 17 to 18 in Dawn of the Dragon Racers and Race to the Edge , 19 years old in How to Train Your Dragon 2 , 20 years old in How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World , and 29 in How to Train Your Dragon: Homecoming . Tuffnut- (How To Train Your Dragon) Tuffnut LaVerne Thorston is a member of the Hairy Hooligan Tribe . He is the fraternal twin of Ruffnut Thorston in the movie franchise and they are constantly arguing with each other, often to the point of physical violence though usually never seriously enough to separate them for too long. In the first film , the first television series, and in the shorts , he's 14 years old, 17 to 19 in Dawn of the Dragon Racers and Dragons: Race to the Edge , 19 in How to Train Your Dragon 2 , 20 in How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World , and 29 in How to Train Your Dragon: Homecoming . His dragon is a Hideous Zippleback named Barf and Belch , which he shares with his sister. Ruffnut- (How To Train Your Dragon) Ruffnut Eugene Thorston is a member of the Hairy Hooligan Tribe . She is the fraternal twin of Tuffnut Thorston , whom she often argues with, sometimes to the point of physical violence, though never seriously enough to separate them for too long. She is 14 years old in the first film , the first three shorts, and first television series, 17-19 in Dragons: Race to the Edge , 19 in How to Train Your Dragon 2 , 20 in How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World , and 29 in How to Train Your Dragon: Homecoming . Her dragon is a Hideous Zippleback named Barf and Belch , which she shares with her brother.

Barf & Belch- Barf and Belch are Ruffnut and Tuffnut Thorston's Hideous Zippleback who first appeared in How to Train Your Dragon.

Stormfly- Stormfly is Astrid Hofferson 's Deadly Nadder who first appeared in How to Train Your Dragon . Hookfang- Hookfang is Snotlout Jorgenson's Monstrous Nightmare who first appeared in How to Train Your Dragon . Meatlug- Meatlug is Fishlegs Ingerman's Gronckle who first appeared in How to Train Your Dragon. (OC © The Authors) Royal-  Royal “Roe” Fiedinn is an OC by Ella Moore and is the White Paladin of Voltron who is also a Dragon Rider, a Sky Mage (like Callum from the Dragon Prince) and a Jedi Knight. Before becoming a Paladin, Royal was a Jedi fighting in  the Rebellion. She has a very similar personality to that of Avatar Korra. Royal or as the Paladins call her, Roe, rides a Strike Class Skrill named Foelgon. Royal is bonded to the White Lion, which was hidden on Kerberos. Royal also attended the Galaxy Garrison shortly after Keith got expelled. She really hated it there especially when Shiro kept trying to be her friend when she didn’t want any help from him. She is a member of the Blade Of Marmora. Her favorite bands are Imagine Dragons and League Of Legends. Royal has also made nicknames for all the Paladins. Shiro is “Floof”, Keith is “Broody”, Lance is “The Dumb One”, Pidge is “Genius”, Hunk is “Cinnamon Roll”, Allura is “Princess”, and Coran is “Mustache”.

PROLOGUE:

Toothless, Stormfly, Luna, and the Night Lights are flying towards the sun, and Hiccup said: “Yes, the world believes the Dragons are gone. If they ever existed at all. But we Berkians… we know otherwise. And we’ll guard the secret, until the time comes, when dragons can return… in peace.” Then, the dragons flew into the sunset. 
 
KEITH P.O.V: 
 
The wormhole was malfunctioning. And that was not good for the Paladins. “ALLURA! WHAT IS GOING ON?!” Keith screamed. “I do not know! The wormhole isn’t working properly!” Allura yelled back at Keith. “Uhh guys is this really happening again?!” Hunk said, after remembering a similar incident that happened only a few years prior. “Don’t worry about it so much Hunk, it’ll be fine, I hope.” Lance said in his confident voice but ending a little bit worried. “Shut up, Lance!” Keith said. “Well, I would, Keith, if I wasn’t FLYING THROUGH A QUIZNAKING WORMHOLE!” Lance shot at Keith. “Yeah, yeah, sure.” Keith replied. “Wait, Keith! What do we do when we’re in a dangerous situation?” Lance asked. “Uh, I don’t know, Lance. What do we do?” He asked, sarcastically. “We do our awesome team chant! I SAY VOL, YOU SAY TRON! VOL…” Lance asked with enthusiasm. Keith sighed in annoyance. “Voltron!” He yelled. Lance laughed. “No, no, no! That’s not what I meant! I say vol, and you say…” Lance was cut off. “LOOK OUT!” Pidge yelled, as the wormhole opened. “Paladins! Are you there?” Shiro asked over the comms.  “Shiro?” Keith whispered. “Paladins? Keith? Anyone?” Shiro yelled. His voice started breaking up as Voltron fell through the wormhole, crashing into the ocean floor. “Oh, quiznak.” Keith muttered as they crashed into the water.

HICCUP P.O.V: 
 
We were just starting to head back to the Hidden World when I saw something big and metal looking crash down into the ocean. Toothless and I wanted to go and check it out. When we got there it was like nothing I had ever seen before. Whatever it was it seemed to be very advanced technology, but after I checked it out something weird happened. A blue wolf just appeared out of nowhere. It surprised me, but Toothless was a little bit protective and started growling at this wolf. I then noticed something, the wolf was hurt. After I calmed Toothless down we went to go and help the wolf, that was when something incredible happened, it teleported us inside some type of compartment that had to have come from the metal machine. What was interesting was that another human was inside! After we got him out we learned that there were four more all inside the cat shaped machines. When we got them all out, Toothless called for the others to come and help get them all back to New Berk so that Gothi could take a look and heal them from their injuries.

Hiccup P.O.V:

This is New Berk. The best kept secret this side of well… anywhere. Granted it may not look like much, but this wet heap of rock packs more than a few surprises. My village. It’s been here seven generations but every single building is new. Life here… is amazing. Any run of the mill paradise has beaches or sunshine. Well, not us. We, my friend, have dragons. Lots, and lots of dragons. It was a few days ago when Toothless and I found some type of metal machine that crashed into the ocean.It surprised me, but Toothless was a little bit protective and started growling at this wolf. I then noticed something, the wolf was hurt. After I calmed Toothless down we went to go and help the wolf, that was when something incredible happened, it teleported us inside some type of compartment that had to have come from the metal machine. What was interesting was that another human was inside! After we got him out we learned that there were four more all inside the cat shaped machines. When we got them all out, Toothless called for the others to come and help get them all back to New Berk so that Gothi could take a look and heal them from their injuries.        Currently, Toothless and I are headed to Gothi’s hut to check out the people we found in the metal machine.  When we got there Gothi checked them out and told us, well scribbled, that they were going to be fine but might not wake up for a while. The wolf wined when he heard about it. Then we heard a noise from a small device. When I opened it, it glowed blue, and a voice came out of it. “Keith, anyone, are you there?!!” The voice said. “Who is this?” I asked the strange voice. “This is Takashi Shirogane, of the Voltron Coalition, but call me Shiro, please.” I looked down at the device.“What?” I asked.

Shiro P.O.V

“Paladins? Keith? Anyone?” I asked. “Oh, no! This isn’t good! They could be anywhere! And it’s just me, you, and Royal! What are we going to do?!” Coran asked. I looked around. “Yeah, this isn’t good. Royal, any ideas? Royal?” I looked out the window of the Castle and saw the White Lion sitting on top of the Galra cruiser. I sighed. “Not again!” I muttered. I grabbed my helmet and went out to get Royal back. I went down to the shuttle pods and I took the shuttle out to the White Lion. I saw Royal shooting at the Galra, but I was too mad at her to even care at this point. “ROYAL! GET DOWN FROM THERE!” I yelled. Royal called back from the top of the Lion: “WHAT?! I CAN’T HEAR YOU!” I fired my jetpack and reached the top of the White Lion. “I SAID, GET DOWN FROM THERE!” Royal smirked. “I know, Floof. I was just being a jerk.” While Royal was talking, one of the Galra aimed at her and I yelled, “ROYAL! LOOK OUT!” She turned around to see the Galra shoot her in the leg. She screamed in rage, and aimed her blaster at the Galra, and fired it all over the place. She nearly hit me in the process but I managed to get out of the way. Oh, I am going to talk with her later. She wasn’t even supposed to be on this mission! We got inside the White Lion without any more incidents. I was totally going to scold her about what she did. I turned to Royal, who was slouching in the pilot seat with her feet resting on the controls. “Royal? What was it I specifically told you NOT to do?” I asked, in a stern voice. Royal shrugged and replied sarcastically, “Run into the Galra ship by myself.” She slumped in her seat. I looked down at her with a serious expression. “And what did YOU do?” She smirked. “I ran into the Galra ship by myself!” I sighed in annoyance. “And why is that bad?” She looked at me. “Because you’re a party pooper?” I slammed my fist on the controls. “NO! Royal, please. We’ve been over this a hundred times!” Royal rolled her eyes. “Because I could get hurt.” “Or?” I demanded. She replied reluctantly. “Or killed.” I nodded. “Good. Glad we understand that.” I turned away for a second and then looked back at her.  “Are you going to do it again?” I asked, hoping for the right answer, but I knew I probably wasn’t going to get that. “Yes!” she said, rather enthusiastically. I slapped myself. “Of course you are.” I muttered. Royal put her feet down from the controls. “Looks like we’re here, Floof. Get out of the Lion. NOW.” she said. As the Castle of Lions approached us, the Lion landed, and I went to go see Adam, because I did NOT want to deal with Royal at this moment. Or Coran for that matter. Adam was leaning against the wall near the Bridge. I looked defeated, and Adam knew it. “So, how’d it go?” Adam asked. I shrugged. “I don’t want to talk about it. The important point is we need to find the other Paladins.” I said.

Just at that moment, Royal stomped past us and went into her room. Adam and I looked at each other, before we heard the door slam loudly behind us. Then, we both heard “Get Jinxed” by League Of Legends blaring through the door. Adam sighed. “That kid is trouble. And you know it.” he said. I did know it. “I think we should check on Keith and the others. Adam, come with me. I need you to guard the door from Royal.” I said, and walked off to the control room. Adam looked at me, confused. “Ah, yes. Just a normal day with the Voltron Paladins.” Adam followed me to the control room, and stood guard after I closed the door. I quickly turned on the comms. “Keith? Anyone? Are you there?” I asked. A strange voice came on the comms. “Who is this?” the voice asked. “This is Takashi Shirogane of the Voltron Coalition. But call me Shiro, please.” I said. “What?” the voice asked. “My name is Shiro. I’m with Voltron. You know about Voltron, right?” I asked. “Do you mean that weird metal thing from earlier?” the stranger asked. “What did it look like?” I asked, curiously. The voice replied: “Five different colored cat machine things? There were people inside.” the strange voice said. “Yes, that’s Voltron. Where are the pilots?” I asked. “They’re recovering from the crash.” the voice said. “Crash? What crash? Wait… the wormhole! It must’ve opened up somewhere they weren’t expecting and”- I was cut off by a sudden thud outside the door. “Adam?” I asked, turning around. Adam opened the door. “SHIRO! GET OUT OF THE WAY! She’s coming.”

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

I looked at Adam, and then I looked outside the door and saw Royal jump down from the ceiling. “Oh, quiznak.” I said. Royal took out her Bayard which transformed into one of the Altean staffs. She pointed it right at me. “Who. Are. You. Talking. To?” She asked, in a creepy voice. In a weak voice, the stranger replied “Hiccup. Hiccup Horrendous Haddock The Third of Berk.” Royal jabbed her weapon at the transmission. “What? Is a Berk? ANSWER ME, YOU WEAK-SOUNDING STUPIDHEAD!” The communicator dinged as Hiccup replied: “A Berk is an island.” Royal stared at the transmitter. “It doesn’t sound like any island I’VE ever heard of. And I know every island in and outside the Archipelago.” Hiccup sounded confused. “YOU KNOW ABOUT THE ARCHIPELAGO?!” he screamed. Royal shrugged. “Okay! Sheesh. Calm down!” she said. “You need to calm down.” Adam muttered from the sidelines. “I HEARD THAT!” Royal screamed.  Adam and I slowly started backing away, hoping to get out of this. Royal whipped around. “NOT ON MY WATCH! YOU MUTTONHEADS!” she screamed, somehow using the Force to put the door back in place, and locking it at the same time. “Now you won’t go anywhere, Takashi Shirogane!” she said. I had NO IDEA what was happening at this point. “We should run.” Adam said. Royal smirked. “DON’T THINK I’VE FORGOTTEN ABOUT YOU, ADAM! YOU’RE IN JUST AS MUCH TROUBLE AS YOUR PAL, SHIRO OVER THERE!”  Adam winced. “Yep. I know, Royal.” he said, worriedly. Royal turned back to Hiccup. “Yeah. It’s where I trained Foelgon. My Skrill!” she said. “YOUR SKRILL?! Do you know how hard those are to train?!” Hiccup asked. “Wow! I thought you were the brave Dragon Master. Guess not anymore!” Royal said. “I am! Not exactly with Skrills, though!” Hiccup replied. Royal looked up. “Foelgon! There you are! Standing behind this weird Viking dude I’m talking to!” she said. In a very high-pitched voice, Hiccup screamed one word. “SKRILLLLLLLL!” Royal laughed. “GOOD JOB, FOELGON! KEEP SCARING HIM!” Royal said. Hiccup continued screaming ‘Skrill’ at the top of his lungs. “Idiot.” Royal muttered, and walked out of the communications room, unlocking the door behind her, and freeing me and Adam in the process.

Episode two: The Skrill Incident

Keith P.O.V:
 
The first thing I noticed when I woke up was my wolf Kosmo licking my face. The second thing I noticed was someone screaming one word. “SKRILLLLLLLL!” I jumped up suddenly, knocking Kosmo off the bed. “SKRILLLLLLLL! SKRILLLLLLL! TOOTHLESS! HELP ME!”  What the quiznak was going on? I wondered. Who was Toothless? I looked up at the Skrill. “Foelgon? Foels? That you? What are you doing here?” I asked it.
“I am looking for my Rider. Don’t try and talk me out of it.”
Foelgon said in a serious tone of growls. “Is Royal here?” I asked, worried. I did NOT want to face her right now.
“No. But she’s coming. And soon.” 
I slapped myself. “Of course she is.” I said. Then I looked around and saw that the rest of my team was waking up. “Is everything okay, guys? Lance?” The Red Paladin got up and we saw a few more scaly lizards land. “Who the quiznak are they?” Lance said. “I, I don’t know. Are they good guys or bad guys, or a bit of both?” Hunk asked. “I don't know.” I said. “Oh, that’s Fishlegs, Snotlout, the twins, Tuffnut and Ruffnut and Astrid. My name’s Hiccup. Great name, I know. But it’s not the worst.” Hiccup said. Lance laughed. “It could be worse! Keith’s middle name is Yorak! Keith Yorak Kogane! I mean, seriously?! THAT’S HILARIOUS!” “SHUT UP, LANCE!” I screamed. “SHUT YOUR QUIZNAK, KEITH!” Lance shot back at me. “WELL, MAYBE I’LL DO THAT IF YOU STOP TALKING!” I yelled at him. “Ummmm… does this”- Hiccup asked. “Happen a lot?” Pidge finished. “Yes.” “Hiccup, this reminds us of the twins, right?” Astrid asked. Hiccup sighed. “Yes. Those two muttonheads.” he said. “Well, sorry if we don’t follow the RULES.” Tuffnut said. “Yeah! Who needs rules anyway? Rules are stupid.” Ruffnut said. Hiccup groaned. “Rules aren’t stupid, guys. They set the foundation of a team and they can really help!” Hiccup said. The twins just blinked at him and said nothing for a second, and then burst out laughing. “Guys, please! I can’t work with this. Can someone get these two… oh, just get them out!” said Hiccup. “Gladly. Come on, Hookfang.” Snotlout said. “What?” Ruffnut asked. “You don’t want us here? You’re all a bunch of party poopers!” Tuffnut yelled. “I have had it with you two!” Snotlout said, as he got onto a dragon’s saddle. His dragon picked up the twins in his claws and took off.

Hiccup P.O.V.  
 
“What?” I asked again. “My name is Shiro. I’m with Voltron. You know about Voltron, right?”Shiro asked. “Do you mean that weird metal thing from earlier?” I said. I continued screaming ‘Skrill’ at the top of my lungs. “Idiot.” Royal muttered, and walked out of the communications room, unlocking the door behind her, and freeing Shiro and Adam in the process. I continued to scream. The Skrill was the only dragon that could possibly beat a Night Fury. Of course I was terrified! But it was at that moment after the device shut off, that I realized that they were waking up.

“TOOTHLESS! HELP ME!” I yelled. Someone was talking to the Skrill “Foelgon? Foels? That you? What are you doing here?” one of the strangers asked. The Skrill Foelgon? Said “I am looking for my Rider. Don’t try and talk me out of it.” Foelgon said in a serious tone of growls. “Is Royal here?” The stranger asked, worried. “No. But she’s coming. And soon.” “Of course she is,” the stranger said. The others were starting to wake up. “Everything okay, guys? Lance?” One of the pilots got up. “Who the quiznak are they?” he asked, pointing at me and the other Riders. I had the same question about them. And also, what the Thor did quiznak mean? “I, I don’t know. Are they good guys or bad guys, or a bit of both?” Another one asked. “I don’t know.” The first one said. “Oh, that’s Fishlegs, Snotlout, the twins, Ruffnut and Tuffnut, and Astrid. My name’s Hiccup. His dragon picked up the twins in his claws and took off. “You're probably wondering how we got here, huh?” The one in the red armor-Keith, asked, I nodded my head, “Yeah, we just found you and the others in a weird machine thing that crashed into the ocean. What the Thor is it?” I asked.  “I don’t suppose you’ve heard of Voltron… have you?” Keith asked. “No, I haven’t.” I answered. “Well, we were just escaping from a battle with some evil space cats, the Galra, when a wormhole appeared and it malfunctioned sending us here, and you basically know the rest.” Lance said. I nodded. Then, Toothless came over.  “Uh, Hiccup, isn’t that the same Skrill we fought years ago?” Toothless asked. “Yeah, I think so, bud.” I said. “Wait.. you can speak Draconic?” Keith asked. “Um, yeah. Wait, you can, too?” Keith nodded. “Yes. I can. I can understand that Skrill.” Keith said. “Ugh. These two. Not again. I had to fight their descendents on Thursday! NOW IT’S THE WEEKEND! CAN’T A SKRILL GET A COUPLE MOMENTS IN PEACE?! Of course not. Toothless, please tell your stupid Night Light children to LEAVE ME ALONE! ESPECIALLY THE ONE WITH THE BLUE EYES! I HATE THAT ONE!” Foelgon yelled. Toothless replied back,”What do you mean you hate Dart!?” “NOT DART! THUNDER! AND YOU KNOW WHAT COMES BEFORE THUNDER?! LIGHTNING!” Toothless shot back, “WHO is Thunder!? And since the last time we fought I have unlocked my lighting ability!” Toothless bragged. “Cheater, cheater, no fish for dinner! I HAD LIGHTNING FIRST! YOU TOOK MY POWER, STUPID NIGHT FURY!” Foelgon roared. Toothless shot back “Well don’t you know that we share the same ancestor?!” “YES, I DO! I FOUND THE BONES IN THE CRYSTAL REALM! SPECIFICALLY IN THE ICE MAZE! DO YOU THINK I DON’T KNOW?! I GOT THE WYVERN BODY, UNFORTUNATELY! AND YOU GOT THE WEIRD TAIL THINGY! AND YOUR HEAD GOT TO BE KINDA ROUND! I JUST GOT THE SPIKES!” Both dragons continued arguing in the background. I sighed. “Do they do this”- Keith started “A lot?” I finished. “Yes. Every time. It always leads back to the common ancestor thing.” I said. “Ohhhh. Okay. Makes sense. ‘Cause Foelgon never brings it up.” Keith said. “Toothless doesn’t really bring it up, either. But when they’re together, they bring it up all the time.” I said, looking at the two arguing dragons in the background.

Episode three: Arrival At New Berk

Adam and I ran from the communications room. AKA: Running away from Royal. Adam and I were trying to make sure that she wasn’t following us. “Is she there?” Adam asked. “I don’t think so. I think we’re safe.” I said. “We’re safe? WE’RE SAFE!” Adam cheered. “Shhh! She might be anywhere!” I whispered. “Where, though? WE DON’T KNOW, SHIRO!” Adam yelled. “Right. Yeah. Um…” I started. “Did you two seriously think you could hide from me?” A voice asked behind us. We both jumped. “You are such IDIOTS!” Royal laughed. “I honestly thought you were smarter not to turn your back on an enemy. Speaking of enemy…” she said. “NO!” We both yelled at the same time. “Relax, Shiro! If I was gonna start singing, I would’ve done it by now! Although, Enemy is a great song. But, that’s for another day. Anyway, are we going to find the others? I was thinking we probably should.” Royal said. “Yes. We should.” I said. “But, we should also plan for”- “RESCUE MISSION!” Royal yelled, and ran off to the bridge.  I sighed. “Let’s just go.” Adam said. We followed Royal to the bridge where Coran was waiting for us. “She already talked to me, and I think it’s a great idea! We are saving the Princess!” Coran said. “Oh, great. But we probably need some help on this, because as much as I would like it to be just the three of us, we seriously need backup.” Royal said. “Yes. Maybe Kolivan and the Blades?” I asked. Royal froze in place. “No. Not them. Definitely not.” I was confused. “Why do you not want their help?” I asked. “Because I don’t want to get grounded again? Look, it’s nothing personal.” Royal said. I pulled out my phone. “Krolia? Kolivan? Can you help us? I think Keith might be in trouble. Why do you want to know about Royal? She’s fine.” I said. “No, no, no, no, no! Not them! Nuh-uh! So, keep doing what you’re doing and DON’T WORRY ABOUT IT!!!!!!” Royal screamed the last part. “Okay.” I said, unsure if I should believe what she was saying. “Now, guys, we need to launch this Castleship right now if this plan is going to work! Oh, and I called Romelle last night. She’ll help us out!” Coran said. Royal sighed. “No! Ughhh!” she complained. Romelle walked up to them. “What’s going on?” she asked. “Not you!” Royal said. She was clearly annoyed by Romelle being in on this. “We’re going to make a wormhole, and blast off to an island called Berk! So, here we go!” Coran made the wormhole appear in the sky. “I could just go in the White Lion. Alone. And do this.” Royal said. “Negative, number 5! We’re all in this together, and you’re not changing that!” Coran said, as the Castle of Lions flew into the wormhole. “This was a terrible idea!” Adam yelled. “We only have two Lions, so we can’t go anywhere! Which means we have to travel by wormhole!” “Technically, we only have one Lion because Keith took Black, remember?” I reminded Adam. “Oh, right. I forgot.” Adam said. “Yes. Thank you, Shiro. What are we supposed to do?!” Adam asked. “We could put up the Particle Barrier!” Coran yelled. “No! That never works!” Royal screamed. “QUIZNAAAAK!” I yelled as the Castle of Lions sped up in the wormhole. “Particle Barrier up!” Coran yelled. “Dude! I just said that never…” Royal was cut off and the Castle crash landed into the side of an island. “Works.” Royal finished, as the Particle Barrier vanished.  “It worked, number 5! Ha, ha! Proved you wrong!” Coran said.

“Where are we?” I asked. “I don’t know.” Kolivan said. We stepped out of the Castle, and looked around. “What’s going on?” Krolia asked. “I honestly don’t know.” I said.  Suddenly, we heard lightning overhead and something came crashing towards us through the bushes nearby. “Brace yourselves!” Krolia yelled, and  took out her Blade. Royal took out her Bayard, I readied my Galra arm. Then a dragon burst out of the bushes and ran at Royal. “No! Bad Dragon! Get away!” The Dragon started licking Royal’s face and she looked up at it. “Foelgon?! Foels! Hi! I missed you so much, buddy!” Royal laughed as the Skrill kept licking her. “Oh, I forgot about her Skrill.” Kolivan whispered. “What?” I asked. How could Kolivan know? Foelgon got off Royal. “He says he knows where Keith and the Paladins are.” Royal said. “What? How does he know? He can’t talk! How can you understand him?” Adam asked. “I can speak Dragon.” Royal said. “Of course you can.” said Adam. “Guys, let’s get to the Lion.” Royal said. They all went inside and followed Foelgon to New Berk’s village. When they landed, another Dragon came up to them. “Everyone this is Toothless, he is Hiccup’s dragon. He’s a Night Fury, he also will take us to where the others are.” Royal told us after talking to the dragon, whose name was Toothless. The Night Fury led us to the village. . We got to what Royal told us as the town square, where the others were waiting. “There you are, Foelgon! You just took off without telling me anything.” Keith told Foelgon. “KEITH YORAK KOGANE! You are in big trouble young man!!” Krolia yelled at Keith. “Uh Oh.” Keith said. “YOU VANISHED! NO NOTE! LION GONE! SICK WITH WORRY! YOUR BLADE AND BAYARD WEREN’T THERE! YOU COULD’VE BEEN KILLED! Oh, and it’s very nice to see you, Lance.” she finished, turning towards the Red Paladin. “Nice to see you too.” Lance said. “Wait, did I tell you guys that Lance tried to flirt with Astrid?” Keith asked. Royal burst out laughing. “WHAT?! DUMMY! HOW COULD YOU?! YOU’RE DATING KEITH!” she yelled. Lance stepped back. “I know, Royal! It’s just a habit of mine! You know that!” Lance yelled. “WELL, GET RID OF THAT HABIT! IT SUCKS! ESPECIALLY SINCE YOU’RE IN  LOVE WITH KEITH!!!!” Royal screamed. “Whoa, okay! I get it! Please, just calm down!” Lance said. “NOT UNTIL YOU BREAK THIS HABIT!” Royal yelled at him. “Okay! Okay! I’ll get rid of it! Done! Now, chill!” Lance said. “Fine.” Royal said. “I’ll be chill.” she sighed in annoyance.

YOUR FATHER WOULD NEVER HAVE TOLERATED THAT.” Krolia said. “So, if that’s all you need from me…” Royal started backing away. “OH, DON’T THINK I’VE FORGOTTEN ABOUT YOU, ROYAL!”Krolia screamed. “What does she have to do with this?” Keith asked. “Well, I heard from Kolivan that she left you behind on a Blade mission. She needs to apologize.” Krolia said.  “Fiiiiine. I’ll apologize.” Royal said sarcastically. “Sorry, Broody.” she said. “I’M NOT BROODY! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU?!”  Keith yelled. “You are so broody.” Royal said,and walked away. “Why does she always do that? I’m not broody!” Keith said. “And I’m not dumb!” Lance yelled. Royal turned back around. “Keith, you are like the broodiest person. And Lance… I just can’t.” she jumped onto Foelgon’s saddle and the Skrill flew away. I walked over to Keith. “So, how are you?” I asked. “I’m fine.” Keith said, not sounding fine at all. “Keith, tell me what’s wrong.” I said. “Nothing! I’m fine! Seriously, back off.” Keith said, and turned away, with his back facing me. “Keith…” I started. “Shiro, don’t.” he said, holding up his hand. “Okay.  “Um, what’s going on?” I asked. “Oh, I’m just yelling at Lance. No reason to worry.” Shiro said. “Okay. Sure. Yeah. But um… why?” I asked. “Because he’s annoying.” Shiro answered. I sighed. “I know how you feel. Um, what are you guys going to do?” I asked. A gush of wind blew past us and a Skrill landed. “SKRILLLLLLLLL!” I yelled. Then Royal jumped off it. “I love that. But, I can’t listen to that right now. I think we need to get out of here, and get back into space to fight the stupid Galra. Keith, where are the Lions?” Royal asked. “I don’t know.” Keith said. “Those metal things?” I asked. “Yeah. They’re called the Voltron Lions. Ever heard of them? No. Of course you haven’t.” Royal said. “Well, no. You’re right. I haven’t. But, we managed to pull Keith and the others out but I’m pretty sure the Lions are at the bottom of the ocean.” I said. “Oh, perfect. Just great.” Hunk said. “Well, let’s go get the Lions!” Royal said. “Easy for you to say. White’s right here. Everything’s just fine with you.” Lance complained. “SHUT UP!”  Royal yelled back at him. Lance went quiet. “We can try and pull them out.” Pidge suggested. “Sure, sure. Try pulling them out from THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN?! No! No thank you. They’re your problem now, Hiccup!” Snotlout said and he walked away. “Aargh! Will you get back here?!” I yelled. He didn’t hear me. Of course he didn’t because he’s a muttonhead. I sighed. “Well, the rest of us can get the Lions.” Astrid said. “Let’s go!” I said, and climbed on Toothless. “Wait, what about the rest of us?” Keith asked. “Uhm, you can come with us? I don’t know. Where are the other Riders, Astrid?” I said, turning to her. “Fishlegs is already here. The Twins are coming and Snotlout is Thor knows where.” Astrid said. “Okay. We have to move fast. Which means you guys need to learn how to fly.” I said. “He’s joking, right?” Lance whispered. “Oh, this'll be good.” Royal said. “No, I don’t mean flying as in jumping off a cliff and dying! I mean you guys need dragons if we’re going to get down there.” I said. Astrid nodded. “And the Twins are supposed to be bringing the dragons.” Astrid turned around to see Barf and Belch crash into the town square. “INCOMING!” Tuffnut screamed as the Zippleback fell in front of the Paladins. “Oh, yeah.” Tuffnut said, as he jumped off the dragon. Ruffnut laughed. “Hey, guys, where are the dragons that they’re supposed to ride?” I asked. “Oh, they’re right over there.” Ruffnut said. I looked at where she was pointing and saw a Changewing, a Dramillion, a Thunderdrum, a Flightmare, and a Sentinel. “What the Thor, Tuffnut? You were supposed to bring TRAINABLE dragons! Not… these. Okay, a Thunderdrum is trainable. So is a Sentinel. So is a Chnagewing. And a Dramillion. BUT A FLIGHTMARE?!” I yelled. “You see, all of them are trainable! We did what you asked!” Tuffnut said. “Aargh! I guess so. Okay, you guys come up to your new dragons.” I said, looking at the Paladins. “Are you sure about this?” Lance asked. “No. But let’s do it anyway.” I said, taking Lance’s hand and putting it on the Thunderdrum’s nose. “Hey, what are you doing? Keith, this is your fault!” Lance yelled. “Shh, shh, shh. It’s fine. He won’t hurt you… probably.” I said and went to grab a saddle. “WHAT DO YOU MEAN PROBABLY?!” Lance yelled. The others did the same thing as Lance did and then got onto their new dragons. “Let’s do this.” I said, and all of us took off into the air. As we flew over the ocean, I stopped Toothless and the other dragons came to a halt. “Alright. This is the place.” I said. “There’s nothing here. We’re just waiting around!” Lance said. “Yeah. Yeah, maybe we don’t do this?” Hunk asked. “Should we turn back?” Royal asked. “It’s getting late.” Lance laughed. “You’re just saying that ‘cause you have your Lion right with you!” he said. “Yeah, I know. But there’s no sign of the Lions out here and that Thunderdrum is the only Tidal Class dragon we have.” Royal said. “Okay, Roe, do you want me to go down there? In the freezing cold water? ‘Cause I will!” Lance said. “Well, you are the Guardian Spirit of Water. So, yeah. You should.” Royal said. “Guys, please, not now.” Keith said, flying up to them on the Dramillion.  “Well, mine may be able to go underwater, but yours can sing, Royal! So lucky!” Lance said. “Yep, he can sing. Show ‘em, Foels!” Royal said. “You want me to sing? Seriously? Fine. #I-I-I GOT THIS FEELING IN MY SOUL, WHERE I’M LOSING ALL CONTROL! ‘CAUSE THERE’S MAGIC IN MY BONES! MY PATIENCE IS WANING, IS THIS ENTERTAINING? MY PATIENCE IS WANING, IS THIS ENTERTAINING?! I-I-I GOT THIS FEELING, YEAH YOU KNOW! GO AHEAD AND THROW YOUR STONES! ‘CAUSE THERE’S MAGIC IN MY BONES!#” “Foelgon, no more.” Royal said.  “Did you train him to sing Imagine Dragons?” Keith asked. “Yes, I did. I also taught him how to sing the entire Arcane soundtrack! Want to hear it?!” she said. “Um, no. And why did you do it?” Lance said. “‘Cause I was bored. And because I found Foelgon singing to The Greatest Showman and I wanted him to experience real music.” Royal said. “Guys, focus! Lance, you’re gonna go in after the Lions.” I said. “Wait… WHAT?! WHY ME? Send someone else. Royal would love to do it! Wouldn’t you, Roe?” Lance asked. “NO! And if I could I would slap you. But since we’re on these giant fire breathing war machines, I can’t.” she said. “Or can I? Who knows!” Royal laughed. “Oh, no, no, no! No! I am NOT going in there!” Lance yelled. “Oh, yes you are.” Royal said, and shoved him off the dragon with air. “QUIZNAK!” Lance screamed as he fell into the water. Royal smirked. “Take that.” she muttered.  “Should someone go after him?” Hunk asked. “Nuh! I’m good.” Tuffnut said. “But we need to help him!” Pidge said. “Help him yourself.” Ruffnut told her. “GUYS! We have to go after Lance. There is no other option. I’m not gonna leave him. And neither are you.” Keith jumped off his dragon and landed into the water with a splash. We all looked down after him, not sure what to do next.

Episode Five: Collecting The Lions

I tumbled through the water, headfirst. Where was Lance? “Lance? Get out here now!” I said. “Keith! Keith, I’m over here!” Lance said. I swam over to Lance who was standing- well standing as close as someone could stand underwater- over the Red Lion. “How am I supposed to get Red out?” Lance asked. “I don’t know.” I said, looking up at the Lion I used to pilot. “Lance, you’ll get Red out. I know you will.” I said. “Thanks, Keith. Uh, can you help me?” Lance asked. “Sure. Let’s try this.” I said, and I put my hand on the particle barrier surrounding the Lion. It didn’t work. “Keith, it’s not your Lion anymore! It’s mine! And I think that I should be the one to do this.” Lance said as he touched the particle barrier. “You said you wanted my help.” I said. “Well, maybe you can try and get Black out?” he asked, and got inside the Red Lion. “Fine.” I said, and swam to my Lion. I got inside and it turned back on. %

“Alright, let’s roll.” I said, and the Black Lion shot out of the water, with the Red Lion close behind. “They got ‘em!” Tuffnut said. “Yeah! Let’s go home! You want lunch?” Ruffnut asked Tuffnut. “Yeah, I love lunch!” Tuff said. “No, guys. We’re going to get the other Lions, too.” Hiccup said. “Aw, man. Hiccup the fun-killer.” Tuffnut pouted. “Ugh. Pidge, Hunk, Allura? Do you think you can get your Lions?” Hiccup asked. “Um, maybe?” Pidge said. “Well, I’m not sure if I can, but I guess I could try.” Hunk said. “I will try to get my Lion.” Allura said. “But it will take time for them to recharge.” the Altean added. “Okay. Go down there and get them.” Hiccup said. “Yeah! And then we can have lunch.” Tuffnut said. Hiccup groaned. “So, I can shove everyone else off their dragons?!” Royal asked. “No!” Allura, Hunk, and Pidge yelled at the same time. “Royal, don’t.” I said. “Come on! It would be funny!” she said over the comms. “For you.” I muttered. “What’s that, Broody?” she asked. I sighed. “I’M NOT BROODY!” I screamed. “YES, YOU ARE!” she yelled back. “NO, I’M NOT!” I said,and slumped back in my chair inside the Black Lion. When will she stop calling me that? I thought to myself. “Hey, it’s your fault I call you that!” Royal said. “Royal! Not now!” I said. “Meh, fine.” she said, and then she started singing more Imagine Dragons. I sighed. “Why are you so annoying?” I asked. “I could ask you the same!” she shot back. “Ughhhh!” I said. Royal laughed. “Stupid.” she muttered. “Uh, guys? We need to hurry up!” Hiccup said.

I was chilly, now I’m warm and toasty.” Snotlout said, as he pushed his hands out in front of him above the flames covering Hookfang. “Careful not to set yourself on fire! Actually, I wouldn’t mind either way!” Royal said. “Shut up!” Snotlout shot at her. “Whatever.” Royal said. “Hey, Snotlout? When did you get here?” Hiccup asked. “Oh, I followed you guys. I wanted some action today.” Snotlout said. “Do they know about the other Lions?” Hunk asked. “No. I don’t think so. But we have to be careful.” Hiccup said. “They probably don’t know.” I said. “Considering that we never knew you guys existed, they probably don’t either. Come on, bud!” Hiccup’s Night Fury flew down towards the ship. “Shall we?” Lance asked. “Why not?” I asked and the Lions flew after Hiccup and Toothless. “Finally! I can beat people up! Foelgon, rage!” Royal said, and dark clouds appeared overhead. “Royal, this is not a good idea.” I said. “Sure, it’s a good idea! They’re Dragon Hunters. I’m simply making sure that Foelgon doesn’t get captured!” Royal said, as lightning lit up her dragon’s body. “FIRE!” she yelled, and lightning striked the Hunter ship. “TAKE THAT, IDIOTS!” Royal cheered. It was too late. The Hunters started firing at us again. “Oh, quiznak.” Royal said, and Foelgon rolled out of the way of the arrows. “Lower, Foelgon! Lower!” She said, pointing her lightsaber hill at the ship. It bounced out of her hands and started falling down towards the water. “NO!” Royal yelled. The Skrill dove down, fast, lightning bolts covered his whole body. “Forget it, Foelgon. … it’s not worth it. I’ll just make another one.” Royal said. Foelgon pulled up alongside the other Dragons. The Black Lion flew up beside Foelgon. “Hey, Royal? Is something wrong? Why did you hesitate before saying it wasn’t worth it?” I asked. “Because I was being stupid. It’s just a piece of junk.” Royal said, her voice sounded sad like she regretted saying that. “Royal, I don’t think that’s what you think.” I said. “SHUT UP, BROODY! It’s fine! Really! Totally one hundred percent FINE.” Royal said. “Yeah, it’s not fine.” I said. “What part of ‘shut up’ do you not understand?” Royal asked. “Well, I just”- I started. “Shush!” Royal screamed. “But”- “NO BUTS!” Royal said. “Okay. If that’s what you want.” I said, and pulled the Black Lion up beside Red. “That was weird.” Lance said. “Yeah, like she cared and didn’t care at the same time.” I told him. The Red Paladin shook his head. “No, not that! What’s weird is that the Night Fury is flying right over the Dragon Hunters and they’re doing NOTHING!” Lance said. “Oh, right. That is weird.”  I said. “Should we go help them?” Lance asked. “Yeah. They probably could use some backup.” I said. Then I turned the Black Lion around. “Um, where are Hunk, Pidge, and Allura?” I asked. “Not here.” Lance said. “I know that, Lance! But where are they?” I yelled at him. “How should I know?!” Lance yelled back. “Guys? Something’s coming towards us…” Tuffnut said. “Oh, quiznak.” I muttered. The Green, Blue, and Yellow Lions launched out of the water. “Paladins! Good to have you here! Now let’s form Voltron!” I said.

Hiccup P.O.VThe robot appeared out of nowhere. Toothless lurched backwards, nearly throwing me out of the saddle. “Hey, bud?! What are you doing?” I yelled at him. Toothless growled at me. “Okay, okay. I get it.” I said, and looked up at the robot that was advancing towards the Dragon Hunter ship. “What is that?” I asked. “Don’t worry, Hiccup. This is Voltron. The Defender of the Universe.” Keith said. “Wait, where are you?” I asked. “Oh, Keith’s the head.  I’m the arm, Pidge is the other arm, and Allura and Hunk are the legs!” Lance said. “Thanks. That was a clear and excellent summary.” I said, still confused. “Well, basically four Lions form into different parts of Voltron to make it happen.” Pidge said. “Oh, okay. I was wondering where the Lions went.” I said. “Okay, you guys might want to stand back.” Keith said. “FORM SWORD!” he yelled.  The Red Lion pulled a sword out of nowhere and slashed the sword through the Hunter ship, blasting it into a million pieces.

Episode six: The Singing Incident Shiro P.O.VI walked into the Castle of Lions, finally glad to get a break from the chaos, when I saw Coran at the Bridge messing with the controls. “Um, Coran? What are you doing?” I asked. “Oh, Shiro! I was just trying to figure out what goes wrong with the Particle Barrier. I mean, it works every time, but sometimes it malfunctions and doesn’t work properly.” Coran said. “Okay…” I said, unsure what to do next. “Oh! Maybe it’s this button!” Coran said, and slammed his fist down on it. “NO, NO, NO!” I said. “#Well, that went well!#” Coran said, in a tone that strangely sounded like singing. “Um, Coran?” I asked. “#What?#” Coran asked. “You’re singing.” I said. “Wait, if you’re singing… Did you press a button you weren’t supposed to?” I asked. “#Maybe yes, maybe no!#” Coran replied. “Quiznak. But what if this happens to the rest of us?! I COULD SING ALL OF TAYLOR SWIFT’S NEW ALBUM! YES! I mean… this is very bad, Coran. Very, very bad. Keith should deal with it! He is the leader after all.” I said, and backed out of the room slowly. After I got out of there, I bumped into something and turned around to face Royal staring in my face. “#WHY AM I LIKE THIS?!#” she sang. “Um, I don’t know! Coran was pressing buttons, and”- Royal screamed. “#I AM GOING TO BEAT HIM UP! HE DESERVES IT!#” She stormed off. “#TAKASHI SHIROGANE!#” Krolia yelled at me. I jumped. “#Yes?#” I asked, then I realized that I was singing. “#You are in big trouble!#” Krolia said. “#I KNEW YOU WERE TROUBLE WHEN YOU WALKED IN!#”- “#ENOUGH WITH THE TAYLOR SWIFT MUSIC!#” Krolia said. I looked at her. “#Did you just say that? I am the world’s second biggest Swiftie! HOW DARE YOU! AND FYI, I THINK THAT TAYLOR SWIFT SHOULD BE THE NEXT LEADER OF VOLTRON! SORRY, LANCE!#” “#Shiro, we are NOT making Taylor Swift the next Paladin of the Black Lion. That’s an order!#” Krolia said. “#BUT TAYLOR WOULD MAKE A GREAT LEADER!#” I shouted. I mean, come on. I am the world’s second biggest Swiftie and she just said “no” to TAYLOR SWIFT! THAT WILL NOT BE ALLOWED!

Then, Coran was thrown into the wall and Royal stormed out. “#YOU REALLY SUCK!#” she yelled. “#Dude, can you chill?#” Krolia asked. “#YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN!#” I sang. I was proud of my Taylor Swift knowledge. “#SHIRO!#” they both screamed. “#If he’s gonna sing Taylor Swift, then I’M gonna sing Imagine Dragons.#” Royal said. “#Oh, no.#” we both sang. “#Oh, yes!#” Royal shot back. “#LOOK OUT FOR YOURSELF! I WAKE UP TO THE SOUNDS OF THE SILENCE THAT ALLOWS, FOR MY MIND TO RUN AROUND! WITH MY EAR UP TO THE GROUND! I’M SEARCHING TO BEHOLD, THE STORIES THAT ARE TOLD! WHEN MY BACK IS TO THE WORLD, THAT WAS SMILING WHEN I TURNED! TELL YOU YOU’RE THE GREATEST! BUT ONCE YOU TURN THEY HATE US! OH, THE MISERY! EVERYBODY WANTS TO BE MY ENEMY! SPARE THE SYMPATHY! We walked out of the Castle, and saw Toothless and Hiccup looking out over the ocean. “We heard singing.” Hiccup said. “#YOU HEARD THAT?!#” Krolia asked. “Yes. Yes, I did.” Hiccup said. “#Where are Keith and the others?#” I asked. “Oh, they’re at the training arena.” Hiccup said. “#Great. Where’s the training arena?#” I asked. “I’ll show you. Follow me.” Hiccup said, as he got on Toothless’s back. “It would be so much easier with a saddle, huh, bud?” Hiccup asked. Toothless growled at Hiccup.“I know, I know. You’re free. But still, you’d be so much better to ride with a saddle!” Hiccup said as Toothless walked away. “#Wait up!#” I said, and ran after Hiccup and Toothless. When we got to the arena, I saw Keith on his Dramillion, and he was trying to shoot at a target. Then, I saw the White Lion take off overhead. Seriously, Royal? I thought, as I walked down to the arena.

“#Keith? I need to talk to you.#” I said. “About what? And why are you singing?” Keith asked. “#Don’t ask.#” I said. “But if you’re randomly singing things that aren’t Taylor Swift, I want to know what happened.” Keith said. “I’m just glad you haven’t caught it yet. Krolia and Royal have it. So does Coran.” I said. “WAIT… Royal has it?” Keith asked. “#Yes.#” I told him. “Oh, this is awesome!” Lance said. “Royal must hate this!” he joked, and jumped off his Thunderdrum. “#Yeah, she does.#” I said. Lance cracked up. “I CAN’T WAIT FOR KEITH TO START SINGING!” the Red Paladin said in delight. “In your dreams, Lance.” Keith said. “What? Keith! Please, come on!” Lance said, as Keith walked away from the arena, Lance ran down after him. “KEITH! REMEMBER OUR CHANT?! I SAY VOL, YOU SAY…” “VOLTRON!!!!” Keith screamed. “KEEEEEEEEEITH!” Lance yelled, as they ran out of view. I laughed. “Classic Klance.” Pidge said. “#Yeah.#” I said.

Keith P.O.V“Lance, stop asking me to say the team chant! I don’t understand it! I say “Voltron” and the chant is over! It’s so much faster that way! IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE COMPLICATED!” I yelled. “Keith, it’s not complicated. I SAY ‘VOL’, YOU SAY ‘TRON!’ VOL…” Lance asked. “VOLTRON!!!” I yelled at him. “Fine, fine. You don’t have to yell at me!” Lance complained. I turned around to see Royal sitting on top of the White Lion, staring at the ocean. “What is she doing here?” Lance asked. “I don’t know.” I said. We walked up to White and looked up at Royal. “Is she alright?” Lance asked. “I guess? I don’t really know.” I said. “Should we ask her?” I sighed. “Do what you want, Lance.” I said. “HEY! ROE! WHATCHA DOING UP THERE?!” Lance asked. Royal jumped. “#Oh. Lance. Hey. I’m just… looking at water. There’s nothing really interesting.#” Royal said. “So, the singing’s still going?” Lance asked. “#Unfortunately.#” Royal replied. “Wow. Oof.” Lance said. “#Yeah.#” Royal said. “So, I was thinking we could get Keith to sing! Whatcha think?!” Lance asked. “#Let’s do it, Lance.#” Royal said, smirking. “Oh, quiznak.” I said. “#Oh, yes.#” Royal said. I started to back away from the two of them as Royal jumped down from her Lion. “Come on, Broody! Don’t run away! Unless… Are you scared?” Royal asked, and kept walking closer to me. “I’M NOT SCARED!” I yelled, even though in my mind, I totally was. “Alright, Broody. We’ll leave you alone. For now.” she said and walked in the opposite direction. “ROE, COME BACK! WAIT UP! I THOUGHT WE WERE GONNA PRANK KEITH! COME ON! PLEEEEEEAAAASSSEEEEEEEEEE?!” Lance asked as he ran after her. “Phew. I’m safe.” I muttered, and then realized that Royal had said “For now”. What did that mean? Was she gonna prank me later?! Oh, no. Oh, no, no, no. She is NOT gonna get away with this. AND she has to stop calling me Broody. I’M NOT BROODY!!!! Where is Shiro? I have to talk to him. ASAP. Maybe we can annoy those two with Taylor Swift. I DO know all the lyrics to You Belong With Me, which is Royal’s least favorite song. This is going to be good! I ran back towards the arena. “SHIRO! I NEED YOUR HELP!” I yelled.

Shiro P.O.VI looked up as I saw Keith running into the arena. “SHIRO! LANCE AND ROYAL ARE GOING TO KILL ME!” he yelled. “#They’re WHAT?!#” I asked. Royal was understandable. Lance, though… this was not gonna turn out well. I ran up to Keith. “”#What do you mean?#” I asked. “LANCE AND ROYAL! They have plans for me! Royal said that she wouldn’t do anything. ‘For now’. FOR NOW! WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?! THAT SHE’S GONNA COME BACK AND PRANK ME LATER?! Shiro, we have to strike now before she has the chance to do anything!” Keith said. “Got it.” I said. Wait… why was the singing off? Coran’s voice came over the comms. “Well, Paladins, I successfully turned off the singing! But if you want me to turn it back on… I can!” Coran said. I turned to Pidge. “Why would you add that button?!” I asked her. “I don’t know, Shiro!” Pidge said. “Well, maybe you could work on removing it so that doesn’t happen again?” I asked. “Yeah. I’ll work on it.” Pidge said. Royal came stomping towards us with Lance running after her. “CORAN HIERONYMUS WILBLETON SMYTHE!!! YOU ARE GOING TO PAY!” Royal said. “Technically it’s Pidge’s fault for making that button a thing.” Lance said. “True that, Lance. But I would never beat up Pidge.” Royal said. “Besides, I already had plans to beat up Coran for making me do that stupid vlog.” Royal said. “What? Oh! Those things.” Lance said. “I watched yours on YouTube. It was all about Allurance, and NOTHING about Klance! HOW DARE YOU, LANCE!!! I THOUGHT YOU LOVED KEITH!!!!” Royal screamed. “But I DO love Keith!” Lance yelled back. “OH, REALLY? YOUR VLOG IS ABOUT ALLURA, AND YOU TRIED FLIRTING WITH ASTRID, WHO BY THE WAY, IS ALREADY MARRIED TO HICCUP!! I talked to their kids! And they’re super cool. Especially Zephyr. Royal just shrugged and turned her back to Hiccup. “Okay, guys. We need to focus. Royal’s allowed to scream Imagine Dragons EVERY HOUR OF EVERY DAY and I can’t sing ONE SINGULAR TAYLOR SWIFT SONG???!!” I yelled. “Well, Royal’s terrifying. Way too terrifying for us to yell at. But we can ALL yell at you, because repetitive Taylor Swift music gets annoying over time.” Lance said. “TAYLOR SWIFT IS NOT ANNOYING!!! SHE Has seVERAL ALBUMS THAT ARE ALL EQUALLY GOOD! SCRATCH THAT! THEY’RE AMAZING! EVERY SINGLE ONE!” I screamed. Hiccup nudged me in the back. “Um, guys… what is that?” He asked as a large red, white and blue robot rose out of the water. We all turned around in shock. “What the quiznak?” I said, as the other Paladins looked out towards the water.

A sense of familiarity came over me as the robots stepped onto the land where we stood. Then, I realized it. I knew who these guys were. “The Autobots.” I said to myself. “The what?” Lance asked. “The Autonomous Robotic Organisms. AKA the Autobots.” I said, pointing at them standing before us. Well, really only one was standing, the others were in their vehicle forms. “Optimus.” I said, looking up at the red, white and blue Autobot. “Yes. It is I.” Optimus said. “BULKHEAD, ARCEE, BUMBLEBEE! Show your true forms. Remember the young Vikings of Berk?” Optimus asked. “Well, uh, boss, it’s a little hard to do that with the, uh, the humans inside.” Bulkhead said. “Then, let them out.” Optimus told him. “Yeah I will. Just a second. Ratchet, you can groundbridge us anywhere, but we ended up UNDERWATER! UNDERWATER! I didn’t even know it could do that!” Bulkhead said. “Surprise, it can do that.” Ratchet said. Bulkhead groaned. “Well, do a better job of getting the groundbridge to go where we actually want it to go.” Bulkhead said. “Ugh.” Ratchet muttered. Once Shiro saw who came off Arcee along with the other human, I could’ve sworn that Shiro shuddered nervously. “Why did you do that?” Keith whispered to Shiro. “Because I don’t think we’re safe anymore. Lemme go get Royal.” he said, and turned away. A few minutes later, Shiro came back with Royal, who was definitely freaking out for some reason. “Shiro? Shiro, it’s Jinx! JINX! JINX! JINX! JINX!” Royal screamed in delight, but after she saw whoever Jinx was walking closer to her, she immediately kind of calmed down. “Why are you freaking out?” Keith asked. “Be- because…” Royal couldn’t seem to control herself any longer. She ran up towards Jinx. “Are… are you Jinx, formerly known as Powder?!” Roya asked. “It’s Jinx now. Powder fell down a well.” Jinx said to Royal. “This… is… amazing! YOU’RE HERE! AND VI! THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVEEEERRRRR!” Royal screamed. “Okay, chill.” Shiro said. “You tried once, Floof, and it FAILED.” Royal said, smirking. “There’s only ONE who could possibly succeed in what you call: “calming me down”. But he’s not here, so you might as well forget it.” Royal said, and turned her back to Shiro. “Wait, what’s this about Hiccup knowing these robots?” Lance asked. I looked at the Paladins, and remembered that they didn’t know the Autobots as well as I did. “Oh, guys, right. They are Optimus Prime, Bulkhead, Ratchet, Arcee, Bumblebee, Smokescreen, Ultra Magnus, and Wheeljack.” I said. “Optimus, who are they?” I asked. “And where’s Cliff?” I thought that Cliffjumper would’ve been with them as he had been years ago, before I found Toothless. Optimus looked down at me. “Cliffjumper is gone and there’s nothing we can do about that.” the Autobot said. “Was it the Decepticons?” I asked. “The Decepti-who-now?” Royal asked. “Decepticons. Followers of Megatron.” I said. As the other cars transformed into their robot forms, “It’s good to see you again, Hiccup.” Arcee said, “It’s good to see you too Arcee.” I told her. Royal ran past me screaming. “JIIIIIINNNNNNNXXXXXXXX!” I looked at Royal, and then back at Arcee. “Don’t pay attention to that. I’m sure it’s not important.” I said.

Shiro was staring at Jinx and Vi and a few other people I didn’t know. “Shiro, what’s going on?” Keith asked. “Well, nothing good.” Shiro said. “Why?” I asked. “Two words: Royal. Arcane.” he replied. “I understand that Royal means we’re all doomed, but seriously what does Arcane have to do with this?” I asked. “You don’t wanna know.” Shiro said. “Okay.” I said, and turned back to the Autobots.

Shiro P.O.VI listened to Hiccup talk to the Autobots for a while, but then I got bored and started focusing on Royal. “JIIINNNNNNXXXXXXXXXXX! YEAH! WOOO!” I heard Royal scream. “Um, Roe? What’s going on?” I asked. “ONLY THE BEST THING EVER!!!!” Royal yelled in excitement. “Which is?” I questioned her, not sure what was happening. “I GET TO MEET MY HEROES!!!” Royal said. I turned to the robots Hiccup was talking to. “Them?” I asked, not believing what she was saying. “No! I don’t even know them, Shiro! I MEAN VI AND JINX! EEEEEEEEE!” Royal shouted. “WHO ARE VI AND JINX?!” I asked. “You don’t know? This is unacceptable, Shiro. I… I just can’t!” Royal said, and turned away from me. “What?” I asked. “HOW CAN YOU NOT HAVE SEEN ARCANE?!!! EVEN IF YOU’D PLAYED THE LEAGUE OF LEGENDS GAME YOU WOULD’VE KNOWN WHO VI AND JINX WERE!!!!” Royal said, obviously mad at me. “THAT IS IT, SHIRO! WE’RE GOING TO BINGE WATCH ARCANE! BECAUSE YOU KNOW NOTHING!!!!!” Royal screamed at me. “Okay! Okay! I get it, you’re mad ‘cause I don’t know what the heck Arcane is, so could you maybe FILL ME IN so I understand it?” I asked. “Watch it for yourself, Floof!” Royal replied. “Wait, isn’t Arcane that one show you made me watch? The one with all the cursing?” I asked. “Yes!” Royal said. “What’s Arcane?” Vi asked.Royal looked like she was gonna pass out. “How… how do you… not know about… Arcane?” Royal asked. “Should I know about it?” Vi asked. Just as Royal was about to speak, they were interrupted by Ekko. “I WANTED TO CURSE SO MUCH ON THE WAY HERE! BUT THE TINY CHILD WOULDN’T LET ME CURSE!!!!” Ekko said. “I’m not a tiny child! I’m fifteen!” Miko said. “And I wouldn’t have let you curse anyway.” Bulkhead said. “You guys are no fun.” Ekko said. “It’s for the better. You curse A LOT.” Royal told him. “But.. BUT…” Ekko started. “NO CURSING!” Miko yelled at him. “Okay. I have A LOT of questions. First of all: where is Jinx?!” Royal asked. “Over there, exploding stuff.” Ekko said. “Okay! …even though I hate explosions and find them terrifying.” Royal said, and walked over to Jinx. Why did she find explosions terrifying? She seemed to enjoy exploding stuff. “Royal?” I asked. “What?” She turned around to face me. “Why are you scared of explosions?” I asked. It backfired on me. “SHUT UP! YOU DON’T DESERVE TO KNOW! YOU WEREN’T EVEN THERE, FLOOF!!! I CAN’T TELL YOU ANYTHING!! I DON’T WANT TO WAIT AROUND WHILE AN IMPERIAL WALKER WAITS BELOW US, AND EXPLODES THE… THE… I can’t even think about it right now!” Royal yelled, and walked away from me. “Exploded the what?!” I asked. “NOTHING! AND NOBODY!” Royal screamed. Okay, she is DEFINITELY not telling us everything. Royal walked over to Jinx and started totally fangirling. “JINX, DO YOU WANNA EXPLODE STUFF WITH ME?!” Royal asked. Wait, didn’t she just say she hated exploding stuff? Oh, well. “Um, okay! See you later Vi!” Jinx said, and the two of them walked off. “So, I’m thinking we’ll do something big. Like REEEEEEAAALLLY big. Let’s test out stuff on the guy with the bad mullet over there! It’s gonna be so fun!” Royal said excitedly. I looked over at Keith who looked so scared of what was gonna happen next. “ROE, IF YOU’RE PRANKING MULLET, YOU NEED TO LET ME IN ON THIS!!! AND NO EXPLOSIONS! YOU COULD KILL HIM!” Lance said, and ran after Jinx and Royal. This day just gets weirder and weirder. “Well, it looks like it’s gonna be a long day. We should get back. Optimus? You coming?” Hiccup asked. “Yes, Hiccup. I tried Berk before heading here. It was all burnt to the ground. I thought you and Toothless were dead. But lucky for me you weren’t.” Optimus said. “Yep. Arcee, Bulkhead and Bumblebee are guardians for Jack, Miko, and Raf. Is there anywhere they can stay?” Optimus asked. “Yeah, they can come with us!” Hiccup said. “Um, Hiccup, don’t you think it might get overcrowded?” Astrid asked him. “It’ll be fine! You’ll see!” Hiccup said, and they all walked off. “Well, if anyone’s asking where I’ll be, I’m gonna sing some TAYLOR SWIFT! WOO!” I said, and burst into my favorite album: Lover.“Shiiiiirooooo! Can you hold off the Taylor Swift music?!” Keith asked. “NO!” I yelled.

“At least until after Royal, Lance, and Jinx prank me in the most painful way possible?” Keith asked. “No, Keith! Sorry!” I said. “I really hate doing this but… #YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN! YOU’RE BEING TOO LOUD!#” Keith sang reluctantly. “Fine. I won’t sing. But only because you asked me with Taylor Swift.” I said.
“Okay, I have to ask. Can you please get Royal not to kill me? I feel like her pranks get a bit… extreme.” Keith said. “Um, I can’t promise anything, because she clearly doesn’t listen to anyone, but I’ll try to calm her down. Y’know? Patience yields focus, Keith.” I said. “Okay.” Keith said, and walked away from me. I decided to follow Royal, hoping that I could get her to stop pranking Keith. What had she said? That explosions were terrifying and they killed nothing and nobody? It sounded very suspicious. I walked away from Keith and back in the direction of the Castle of Lions. Maybe there was something in Royal’s room that could help me understand this. As I approached the ship, I walked inside. Coran was on the bridge with Allura. They didn’t even notice that I’d come in. I walked past the bridge and found myself looking up at Royal’s door. I unlocked it and found Adam inside. “What are you doing here?” I asked. “Looking for answers to my Royal questions.” Adam said. “You?”
“Same thing.” I walked in and locked the door behind me.
“I haven’t found anything yet. Can you help me look for stuff?” Adam asked. “Sure. Something tells me she’s going to be gone a while.” I said.
“What? Why?” Adam asked.
“One word: Jinx.” I explained.
“Who?”
I opened up Royal’s computer on her desk and pointed at the lock screen. “Jinx.” I said.
“OHHHHH! That one fictional character she’s obsessed with. Okay, I got it mixed up the entire time she made us watch it. I thought Jinx was the one with the pink hair. Not the blue hair.” Adam said.
“Oh my Quiznak, Adam. Roe would probably kill you just for saying that.” I said. “Why?” Adam asked.
The door opened. “HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE?!” Royal yelled. I slowly dropped the recording I was holding into my jacket pocket. “Nothing!” Adam said quickly. “Nothing as in searching through all my computer history?” Royal asked. Jinx looked at the computer’s open lockscreen. “What the heck?” Jinx asked. “Nothing to see here! GIMME THAT!” Royal strode over to Adam and grabbed the computer out of his hands. She closed it up and put it on her desk. She then turned to me. “Turn out your pockets.” She said, “Why? You want my Taylor Swift mug?” I asked, and pulled it out. It read: WORLD’S 2ND BIGGEST SWIFTIE.
“NO! Not that. I don’t care. Just hand what you have stolen over to me.”“I haven’t stolen anything.” I said.
She rolled her eyes. “The recording. Give it.”
“What recording?” I asked, hoping she could not see through my lies.“EZRA- never mind.” Royal said, and stuffed her hands down into her jacket.
“Who’s Ezra?” I asked.
“NOBODY. Just another loser.” Royal said. I could tell she was lying to me.
“Just give me the thing!” Royal said.
“NO.” I said. “I don’t have it.”
“You do! I saw it! It belongs to me and don’t you start singing Taylor Swift!” Royal yelled.
“Look, Roe. Shiro never stole anything from you.” Adam said. I nodded encouragingly, hoping that Royal would believe me.
“YOU DEFINITELY… ugh. FINE! I’ll believe you. You never stole anything. I got some things to do anyway. I want to show Vi and Jinx the training deck! Gladiator training!” Royal turned and left, followed by Vi and Jinx. “PHEW! I thought she would… Never mind. What’s on that thing you took?” Adam asked.
“No idea. Let’s see what it is.” I closed the door and clicked a button on the side of the recording. A hologram popped out and a guy I had never seen in my life was talking. “Hey, Royal. Or maybe I should’ve called you Roys. Probably not though. Look, I know dealing with two sacrifices in the same week is not easy. And we definitely should’ve gotten to spend more time together, but you should know that I miss you. Every day. As much as you drive me crazy sometimes.” The guy laughed. “But hey, you’re probably doing better than I am at the moment. And a little advice: if you’re still going to look for me, follow the Purrgil. They’ll lead you straight.
The reason why I didn’t include you in my message to the rest of the crew was because I knew you wanted me to say something to you specifically. So, I thought: “Why not?” Be strong. Be brave. Keep fighting. For me. The rebellion’s not over yet. Just because we’re gone doesn’t mean we don’t care about you. Ugh! I was never good at pep talks! I always let Kanan do them for me! Although, I know Kanan is the last thing you want to hear about right now.” He said. Adam and I exchanged a look of confusion. Who was Kanan? What did he mean?
“I know I can always count on you. I love you so much, Royal.” He sighed. “May the Force be with you.” Then, the hologram cut out and ended.
“What was that about?” Adam asked. “I have NO idea. Let’s keep it until we find out more.” I said. Obviously this wasn’t a good idea, but it was the only thing I had that tied to Roe’s past. I pulled out my phone and typed out KANAN into the search bar in safari. A bazillion options showed. I just clicked the first one: Kanan Jarrus- Star Wars Character.
I had only seen the first two movies, both of them were for Garrison movie night. And that had been a looong time ago. I read what the wiki page said. Apparently this guy was a Jedi Master who had died in an explosion fighting the empire. It explains why Royal had been so freaked out about explosions.“Um, Shiro?” Adam asked. “Yeah?”
“I just got a text. We have to go. Keith is having… a little trouble.”

Keith P.O.V“Lance, help me out over here!” I said, as Kosmo was teleporting all over the island.
“On it!” Lance said, and jumped on Toothless who was standing nearby.
“Um, Lance? That’s Hiccup’s dragon. What are you doing?” I said.
“I’m gonna get Kosmo back in style, Mullet!” Lance said.
“Uhhh, that’s a bad idea.” I told him.
“What? It’s a great idea! I fly around the island, and at the first sight of Kosmo, Toothless will swoop down and grab him, then we take him back to the castle!” Lance acted like there wasn’t any flaw in that plan. “Look, Hiccup won’t like you riding Toothless. He’s probably going to yell at you for doing it.” I said. “What? Hiccup? Yell at me? Pssh! Never!” Lance said from on top of Toothless. “LANCE. Listen to me. Get. Off. The-“ it was too late. The Night Fury had already taken off into the air. I stood there for a while, then saw Shiro and Adam run up to me. “Keith, are you ok? What happened?” Shiro asked. “Uh, Lance stole Toothless and is flying after Kosmo.” I said. “That’s not good.” Said Shiro.
“No it is not. I’m going to patrol the island. Hopefully I’ll find Lance.” I said, and walked away.

Lance P.O.VKeith was right. This was a terrible idea! I clung to Toothless’s saddle with all my strength. “AAAAAAH! I DON'T LIKE FLYIIIIINNNGGG! NOOO!” I screamed as Toothless dove down into the trees. I closed my eyes tight. The dragon plummeted to the ground.
I ended up in a heap under Toothless’s wing.
“Ow.” I said, and stood up shakily.
“Toothless? Are you alright?” I asked the dragon. The night fury growled and stood up.
“Where are we?” I asked. “It couldn’t hurt to walk around a bit, right? I can teach you all about the amazing Paladins if you’d like!” I said. Toothless was already walking away.
“Hey! Wait up!” I said, and ran after Toothless.
It was late in the afternoon now. “You didn’t happen to bring food did you?” I asked Toothless, who glanced at me questioningly. “Who am I kidding? You’re a dragon! Of course you didn’t bring anything.” I said. Toothless growled at me. “Oh. Sorry. Hey! This is a perfect time to tell you about the other Paladins! So, everyone in the team has their own things going on for them. Keith’s the leader of the group. Flies the Head Lion, like he’s the Big Boss-dude.” I said. Toothless growled. I hoped he understood me. “Good, you’re listening. Then, there’s Pidge. She’s our tech expert. Any problems with your phone or something? Ask Pidge. Hunk’s like basically the most kind person ever. He’s kinda the heart of Team Voltron. Then, there’s Roe. She’s… uhhh… she’s pretty awesome. She has this cool light sword that she uses to kill people. Not that cool, I know. But still! There’s times I wished I had one of those! I mean is there a how-to book on how to make one?” I asked. Toothless nodded. “Thanks for the optimism. But there’s probably not. Continuing with the team! There’s Allura, Shiro, and Coran. They’re good too. And finally, saved the best for last: there’s me! I’m basically the cool, ninja sharpshooter! Am I right?” I fist bumped Toothless’ shoulder. “What are you doing?” Keith’s voice asked. “Toothless, what have I told you about those bad Keith impressions?! I mean, this was spot on, but seriously”-
“LANCE! I am right here.” Keith said. I looked up to see Keith standing on a dirt hill above me. “Oh! K- Keith! Hi. How’s it going?” I asked. Keith rolled his eyes. “It’s going good.” He said. Then he added, “What are you doing?”
“Nothing!” I said quickly. “Then you didn’t steal Hiccup’s Night Fury?” He asked. “No! T-Totally not.” I said. “Um, what are you doing here?” I asked, desperate to change the subject. “I’m patrolling. We’re on a new island, Lance. We don’t know about the untold dangers this place has.” As he said this, he tripped over a fallen tree branch and tumbled down the hill. Keith landed at my feet. I laughed. “Untold dangers, huh?” I asked.
“Not funny, Lance.” Keith said as he got up. “And by the way, look who I found!” Keith moved aside to show Kosmo behind him. I can’t believe I never noticed the wolf! “What? How?! Not fair, Mullet!” I said. “Lancey-Lance, Kosmo came when I called. It was that simple.” Keith crossed his arms. “Mm,hmm. Tell me what REALLY happened.” I said, knowing that he was lying. “Okay, okay. I led a trail of his favorite kibble straight to me.” Keith said. Aaand there it was. Kosmo never came when Keith called. Lightning struck the tree behind me, and I jumped. A Skrill was flying above us, and Shiro was riding it. “How the Quiznak did Royal let you ride Foelgon?” I asked. “No time to explain. We need you back at the great hall.” Shiro said. Kosmo immediately teleported Keith away, and I climbed on Toothless. The Night Fury took after Foelgon. I sure hoped this was worth it.

Hiccup P.O.V“Can everybody please calm down?! I’m sure we have nothing to worry about.” I addressed the panicked Vikings. “WE SHOULD PANIC! WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE!” Nuffink said. “Calm down, son. We’re not going to die.” I said. “See?” Zephyr said. “I TOLD you guys that bringing the dragons here would bring trouble! This is why we don’t leave fish snacks around to attract them!” Said Zephyr. “Oh, you’re one to talk! What about YOUR dragon?!” Nuffink shouted. “I don’t have a dragon, idiot!” Zephyr said, even though Dart the Night Light was standing right behind her. “Look, it’s been a rough few days, I know but”-“LOTOR IS STANDING RIGHT HERE AND YOU’RE TELLING US TO ‘BE CALM’?! HE’S A MURDERER!” Royal screamed. “WE CAN’T TRUST HIM!” yelled Allura. I turned to Optimus behind me. “Can you help me out with this?” I asked. “I can, but you’re going to have to assure them there’s nothing to be scared of.” Optimus said. “What does it look like I’m doing?!” I asked.Optimus cleared his throat and roared “SILENCE!”The whole of the great hall fell silent.“Chief Hiccup, if I may speak…” Lotor started to say before Royal shouted; “NO! DON’T LET HIM TALK! HE’LL FORCE YOU INTO A SERIES OF LIES AND BETRAYAL! HE’LL LIE TO YOU ABOUT PEOPLE YOU LOVE ACTUALLY BEING ALIVE WHEN YOU’VE SPENT YEARS BELIEVING THEY’RE NOT!”“That was one time, Royal.” Lotor said calmly. “I DON’T CARE!” she shouted. Then, Keith and Kosmo, followed by Shiro and Foelgon landed in the great hall. Lance and Toothless came last. The moment Lance got off Toothless, the dragon ran straight over to me.“What the Quiznak? What’s Lotor doing here?” Lance asked. “His only reason was to get back together with me! And I said NO!” Allura said. “Please, Allura! We could forge a new era of peace!” Lotor said. “STILL NO.” “Fine. The REAL reason I’m here is because I have some information that the leader of Voltron might find interesting.” Lotor said. “Is it the location of Keith’s old horse?! Ah, Toast. We’ll miss you so!” Lance said, and sniffed.“LANCE. I told you already that Toast is probably standing in a random field in the middle of Texas right now eating grass. He’s fine.” Keith said. “No, that's not what I had to tell you.” Lotor told them. “Well, then what is it?” Lance asked, annoyed. “It’s that Keith’s father, Akira Kogane, is alive.” “WHAT?!” Keith, Royal, and the rest of the team yelled in absolute shock.

Keith P.O.V“How can he be alive?! The fire-” I stopped speaking as Lotor held up a hand. “He escaped the fire. But then he got captured by Jerry.” Lotor said. “Jerry? Sendak’s henchman who is always complaining about going back for Harold?” I asked.“Yes. That Jerry.” Lotor said. “I was quite surprised he managed to capture Akira. He usually just sits back, and drinks lemonade.”“Wow. That’s disappointing for Sendak.” I said.“Oh, yeah. He’s been really annoyed by Jerry.” Lotor said.“THIS IS JUST ANOTHER LIE.” Royal said from across the room. “No, no. I assure you it’s not.” Lotor said.“THEN TELL US WHERE HE IS!” Royal screamed.“I’m afraid I can’t do that, Roys.” Lotor said. “HOW DARE YOU CALL ME THAT!” Royal pulled out her lightsaber and swung it at Lotor’s head.Lotor grabbed the lightsaber by the hilt, and turned it off. When he grabbed it out of Royal’s hands, he threw it across the room. Royal gasped. “Fine. If that’s the way you want to play it.” Royal said. She then proceeded to get the lightsaber back by closing her eyes and raising her hand at the weapon. “What are you doing?” Lance asked.The weapon suddenly appeared in her hand, and she ignited it again. “Making him pay.” Royal replied. “For calling you a nickname? Seems a bit harsh, right?” Hunk asked. “You guys don’t get it!” Royal said. “Ah, Royal. You’re just how I remember. You know Axca was right that I saw him. Just like I am right that your friend, Ezra Bridger, has recently returned.” Lotor said. “DON’T YOU TALK ABOUT EZRA!” Royal swung her lightsaber at Lotor. “Whoa. Whoa. I thought you hated Ezra.” Lotor said.Royal’s eyes narrowed. “You know nothing, Prince Lotor.” Royal said, and slapped him before turning away and running out the door.“Okay. What’s happening? Why did she leave?” Lance askedme. “Are you asking me, Lance?” I replied.“Well, I thought you’d know… never mind.” Lance said.Shiro gasped. “The guy in the recording! That was Ezra.” I looked at Shiro, confused. “What recording? What are you talking about?” I asked. “Back when we were investigating in Royal’s room, I stole this.” Shiro held up a circular disc.“What the quiznak is that, Shiro?” I asked. Shiro sighed. “It’s a recording. A message from one of Royal’s old friends.” Shiro said.“What do you mean old friends?” I asked.“Look, just… watch this, Keith.” Shiro pulled me to the side, and the recording played out.After it was done, the hologram vanished into the disc. “Whoa… wait! Did he say he ‘loved her’? Is this Royal’s… boyfriend?” I asked. “I think so? Maybe in a brother/sister way? Maybe? Probably not from the sound of it.” Shiro said. “This is too… I dunno what to think. I mean, TWO sacrifices? What did he mean by that?” Keith asked. “It means that it’s none of your business.” Shiro and I turned around. Royal and Krolia were standing right behind us.“You’re never gonna believe this, bro.” Royal told me.

Keith P.OV  “Broody, you are not going to like this. I don’t like it either. You should just get Krolia to explain it. I’m sure it’ll make perfect sense afterwards.” Royal said. “Perfect sense? What are you talking about?” I asked, then added; “AND I’M NOT BROODY!” “Suuuuuuure.” Royal said. Lance walked up. “To be fair, you kind of are.” He said.“YOU’RE TAKING HER SIDE?!” I yelled. “NO! I’M SIMPLY AGREEING WITH HER!” Lance yelled back. “I THOUGHT YOU WERE ON MY SIDE!” I screamed. Then, from behind us: “What’s with you and sides?!” We turned around to see Kolivan standing there, looking confused. “Yeah. They are definitely related.” Krolia said. “Yep.” Said Shiro. “What?” I asked, as I turned to face Krolia and Shiro. “AND WHY DID YOU CALL ME BRO?!” I yelled. “Because I wanted to. I just like calling you Broody more.” Royal said. “ACTUALLY…” Krolia said. “WHAT?!” Royal and I said at the same time as we turned around to face Krolia. “I’m sorry for lying to you two for all these years. But”-“What did you lie to us about?! EXPLAIN IT TO US NOW!” I said.  “You two are both related actually.” Krolia said. I stood there in complete shock. Royal just remained calm. “Why do you look so calm?” Krolia asked. “Oh. Kolivan told me YEARS ago. I guess I just forgot. That’s why I was so surprised when you told me.” Royal said. “KOLIVAN DID WHAT?!” Krolia screamed. “I have no comment.” Said Kolivan.

Shiro P.O.V“I’m sorry. They’re related?” I asked. “We’re… we’re…” Keith seemed unable to speak.Royal smirked. “Yup.”“When exactly did Kolivan tell you you and Keith were siblings?” Krolia asked. “Oh! That was way back in the good old days when I was doing lightsaber training with him.” “I never”- Kolivan began. “Never thought I’d turn up THIS awesome?” Royal said, and gestured to herself.“I only taught you how to use your blad”-“Thank you SO much for the training. It was so fun! And certainly nobody died from any explosions whatsoever! Good times! Eh, Kolivan?”“What are you talking about? I only trained you with the blade! At least up until the trials of Marmora. When you left almost a day after.” Kolivan said.“What?! I never left the blades! You know that!”“You DID leave the blades, Royal. I was there when you left.”“Royal. I did not teach you how to wield a lightsaber. You know who did teach you, though? RIGHT?” Kolivan asked.“I seem to have forgotten his name. Care to remind me? Wait, no. Don’t answer that.”“Seriously?” Kolivan asked. “I might as well explain your whole life story to your friends here.”“NO.” Royal said.“Okay! The story of Royal! Once upon a time on a spaceship known as the Ghost”-Royal punched Kolivan. “STOP. TALKING. NOW.” She said. She looked so angry at the moment. More than I had ever seen her. And that was saying something.“The crew of the Ghost, or as they called themselves, the Spectres were a very small group at the time. Their leader, was a Jedi Master named Kanan Jarru”-“DON’T TALK ABOUT HIM! WHY ARE YOU EXPLAINING THIS? THEY DON’T NEED TO KNOW!!!!!! I HATE THIS.” Royal said.“They need to know what you’ve been through. Keith, don’t you wonder why Roe here was helping search for Shiro with you?” Kolivan asked. “DON’T ANSWER THIS, BROODY.” Royal said.“It was because she really missed him? And wanted to help?” Keith guessed.“CORRECT! Well done, Broody.” Royal said.“Royal, I’ve been in contact with Hera. For a while now. And she has some news for you. Ezra. He’s”-“Alive? I know that. He has been for the past five years. I don’t remember him leaving. So why would he do that to us? To ME?! Oh, if I ever see Bridger again, I’ll make him feel pain. THAT’LL SHOW HIM NOT TO LEAVE ME AGAIN!” With that, Royal stormed out of the room.“Okay, that was weird.” Lance said. “It was weird, right?” He asked. “Yeah. It was, Lance.” Keith said.“Why did she act like that?” I asked Kolivan.“Because Royal has a… complex relationship with Ezra Bridger.” Kolivan said.“What’cha mean?” Lance asked.“I mean that they were once mortal enemies.” Kolivan explained.“WHAT?!” yelled Lance.“I know, I know. Crazy, right? Royal once hated the guy she loves the most with her heart and soul. It was partially because he was stealing Kanan from her, but in the end, they made up after she returned to them and they were back from the Malachor mission. Of course several things had changed. Ezra had a super ugly haircut, Kanan was”-I stopped him. “Why were these guys so important to her?” I asked.“Ah. Good question. Shortly after she passed the Trials of Marmora when she was seven”-“Whoa, whoa, whoa. They put a SEVEN YEAR OLD through that?! I could barely survive!” Keith said.“Yes. They did. I did. But they went easy on her.” Kolivan said.And then, from behind them: “No you didn’t.”“OH! Royal! How long have you been there?”“Long enough.” Royal said. “Don’t be alarmed, but I just confided my whole life story to someone.”“WHAT?!” Kolivan asked.“WHO?” said Krolia.Jinx walked up. “Me.” She said, and Royal continued to talk.“Jinx happens to be very understanding.” Said Royal.“Oh no.” I said.

Royal P.O.V:I looked straight at Shiro. “What? You don’t think that Jinx is trustworthy?” I asked.“Well, no. Uh… yes? I HAVE NO IDEA!” Shiro was obviously confused. And it was hilarious.“Floof, stop talking. As funny as it is when you get confused, it’s also super annoying.” I said, and crossed my arms. “Royal’s story actually made sense to me. And I understand how someone can go insane after witnessing something like THAT.” Jinx said. “Royal… “ Shiro tried to say, but I stopped him. “I’ve been trying and trying and trying to keep calm. But”-Lance butted in. “Um, Roe? Your idea of calm is someone else’s idea of terrifying.” He said.“Thanks, Lance!” I said. “Not a compliment.” Shiro replied. I ignored him.“Yeah. I figured.” I said.“So, I have a question.” Keith said. “Go ahead, Broody.” I told him.“First of all, I’m not broody. And second, since you were with the blades for so long, who did you know when you were among them?”I rolled my eyes. For once he asked an okay question. “I knew pretty much everyone. Regris and I were best friends before I met Sabine, Ezra, and… ugh. I can’t say it. FINE. Him. I knew Uncle Antok pretty well, but I think I scared him mostly. Of course I knew Kolivan. And it wasn’t until later I met Ulaz. That was after the whole Rebellion thing. And of course, I have the Blades to thank because they’re how I met Kan… him.” I said. The thought of saying his name made me want to run away. Ever since that night, I’d been having horrible flashbacks and nightmares. No one knew about them. I actually never even told anyone about them. Except for him when he was alive. And Ezra of course. I wished I could see them again. My. master, and his other Padawan. I just… miss them. I really, really do. But I would NEVER do that about Shiro. Okay, maybe I did when he was missing, but then he came back and the freak-outs stopped happening.“HICCUP!” We heard Astrid yell as Stormfly flew in at full speed, crashing in front of Hiccup and Toothless. “Astrid!” Hiccup said. “We have a serious problem outside. They’re here!”“Slow down, Astrid. WHO’S here?” He asked. Astrid’s eyes narrowed. “Megatron. He’s come to destroy Optimus Prime.” She said, and Hiccup ran to Toothless.“LET’S GO, BUD.” Hiccup yelled, and the Night Fury flew past them as fast as the wind would take him. “Keith, what should we do?” Pidge asked. “GET TO YOUR LIONS!” Keith said, and we all ran outside to where the Lions stood in their particle barriers. But they weren’t there.Fire was reigning down on the Great Hall, and sounds of explosions were going off.A massive robot stepped out into the center of the battlefield. “This ends… NOW.” He said.I could feel my own fear. This was now a fight for survival.

Hiccup P.O.VAs Toothless flew towards Megatron at full speed, we were caught in midair as a plane crashed into us, taking us to the ground. Toothless plasma blasted it, and it revealed itself to be Starscream, the Decepticon. The three of us hit the ground hard. I fell out of Toothless’s saddle. I looked at my dragon. His prostretch tail fin was bent and broken due to the impact. “Oh. Did I do that? Apologies. No matter. It seems I have found the catch of the day. It looks like my luck is turning after all.” Starscream said as he walked towards us. I pulled out Inferno and ignited it in front of Starscream’s face. “If you want him, you have to get through ME first!” I shouted. I swung Inferno at the Decepticon, but he blocked it by catching the blade in his hands, and throwing it off to the side. “Okay.” I said. “Plan B!” I grabbed my Gronckle Iron shield from Toothless’s saddle bag, and formed the crossbow with it. As I aimed it at Starscream, he dodged it and the arrow ended up hitting the side of the Red Lion. “OW!” Lance shouted. “SORRY, LANCE!” I said. “Oops. Not that great at firing an arrow, are you?” Starscream asked, and he laughed.“I’ll give you one second to say your goodbyes before I turn you to”- Whatever he was about to say next was stopped. “Starscream! Get away from them.” I turned my head to see Optimus standing behind us. “Scrap.” Starscream grumbled.“Do not think about flying away, Starscream.” Optimus said. “You ruined my chance to take out this Night Fury once and for all. Consider this a victory, young Viking.” Starscream said. “What victory?” I asked. “You get… to live.” Starscream replied, and stalked away. “Are you alright, Hiccup?” Optimus asked. “I’m okay. It’s Toothless I’m worried about.” I said. “You need to get him out of here before the chaos escalates.” Optimus said. “You got it. Come on, bud!” Toothless and I walked to the side of the great hall to wait out the attack. It was not looking good for any of us.

Keith P.O.V:“LANCE! WHERE ARE YOU?” I yelled. It was hard to make out the Red Lion in the midst of the fight. I saw the shape of the Lion and flew straight into it by accident. I heard over the com. “WHAT THE QUIZNAK, BROODY?! WE WERE ABOUT TO FIRE AT THE ZARKON-LOOKING ROBOT DUDE!”Oh no. Now that I got a closer look at the Lion, I saw that the color was White. Not Red.“Sorry, Royal. I didn’t mean to!” I said quickly.“BE MORE CAREFUL NEXT TIME!” she yelled back.“You just said ‘we’. Who else is in your Lion?” I asked her.“Vi and Jinx are with me! Caitlyn too! It’s everything I could’ve dreamed of! WAIT, CAITLYN! DON’T PRESS THAT BUTTON! QUIZNAK!” Royal shouted.“Sorry.” Caitlyn said. “It’s fine. I think you hit Broody pretty well, though.” I knew Roe was right. The Black Lion was lying on its side, and the power wasn’t working. “Thanks a lot, Royal.” I said sarcastically. “HEY! I’M THE QUEEN OF SARCASM, BROODY! YOU CAN’T USE IT AGAINST ME! Now if you don’t mind, we have some robots to destroy before they take over the world like the Galra did to Earth a few years back.” With that, the White Lion took off into the air.I saw Shiro run across the battlefield towards me. “SHIRO! NO! TURN BACK!” I screamed. I saw one of the robots leap over the Black Lions head and I yelled as I grabbed the controls and pushed the Lion forward. “STAY AWAY FROM SHIRO!” I screamed, and the Black Lion head butted the robot. It fell on its face. “Soundwave! Now is not the time to play in the dirt! Act like a real Decepticon!” The one called Starscream yelled. Before Soundwave could do anything, I fired the Black Lion’s lasers and flew up into the sky.“Paladins? Are you there?” I asked. We were definitely going to need Voltron for this.“Lance here.” I heard Lance say. “LANCE! Are you hurt? Are you okay?” I asked, and tried not to sound TOO worried about him. “I’m fine, Mullet.” Lance said. “Hunk here.” Hunk said .“Pidge here.” Said Pidge.“Roe? Where are you? We need the White Lion.” I said.Then, as my Lion turned in the air, I saw numerous explosions going off. “And, there she is.” I said. “You really think I’D do THAT? Defeating people inside a robotic Lion is one thing. Exploding innocent people that probably meant a lot to someone… That’s another matter entirely. I’d be no better than the Empire.” That was when I saw Royal appear on screen. “Oh. Did the Empire do that to you?” I asked. “What do you think?” Royal said, and rolled her eyes. Yep. I decided. They did that to someone she probably cared about. Although I had no idea who. Maybe it was that Ezra guy from Shiro’s recording. I shook my head, removing the thoughts from my brain. “Okay, Team. Let’s do this. IT’S TIME TO FORM VOLTRON!”

Shiro P.O.VIt was only after Voltron appeared that I realized we’d left Lotor inside the burning Great Hall. “Hey, Team? I think we left Lotor behind in the Great Hall. What should we do?” I asked. Several answers replied at once.“Go get him! We can’t leave people behind! Even if he’s such a jerk. It’s the right thing to do as Paladins.” Lance said.“Leave him. He’s caused enough trouble for us already.” Said Allura.“I’m with Lance. We shouldn’t leave someone behind even if it’s Lotor.” Hunk said.“Good riddance. I never want to see his face again. He’s a liar, and a traitor. And a murderer.” Royal said.A new voice: “Reminds me of Silco. So, don’t do it.”“I’m with Vi. Don’t go back for Silco. I mean Lotor.”“Great answer, Cait.”At this point I had no idea who was talking.“Keith. You have the deciding vote.” I said.There was a moment of silence before Keith actually responded.“Go save him. He might have some information on Dad. I can’t get him without Lotor’s help. And I can’t afford to lose him again. So go rescue Lotor. As much as I hate saying that.” Keith said.“You got it. I’ll see you on the other side. Or maybe I’ll see you… #IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT! IN MY DREAMS!#” Before I knew it, I was bursting into the whole song. “SHIRO!” all the paladins yelled at me. “Fine. I’ll save the Taylor Swift victory singing for AFTER the battle. You guys happy?” I asked. “YES.” They all said.I decided to take Keith’s advice. I ran towards the Great Hall, past where Megatron and Optimus were fighting, and I saw Hiccup and Toothless hiding on the side.I ran into the building, the fire cascaded down around me. I saw Lotor tied to a chair that was catching fire. With my Galra arm, I cut through the ropes that held him, and he put his arm around my shoulder for support. “Shiro. You came back for me. I’m honored.” Lotor said. “Don’t be. I’m not doing this for you.” I said, and together, we walked out of the Great Hall.I saw Voltron fighting some Decepticons in the sky, and the Blazing Sword fell out of Voltron’s hand and crashed on the floor. “Hey, guys? Is everything okay?” I asked. “No! Lance messed it up.” Keith said. “What? There’s no way that was my fault!” “It was!” Keith said. “IT WAS NOT MY FAULT!” Lance protested. “Lance, Keith. Knock it off. You’re sounding like Ezra and Zeb.Cut it out!” Royal yelled. “Who the quiznak are Zeb and Ezra?” Lance asked. “LANCE. Ezra is Royal’s boyfrie-““SHUSH, BROODY!” Royal screamed. “Okay, okay. We need that sword though. Lance, why did you drop it?” Keith asked. “THAT WAS PIDGE’S FAULT!” Lance said. “No it wasn’t!” Pidge said. Voltron was kicked to the ground by a Decepticon, and they landed before me with a crash. “Keith! Are you alright?” I asked. “Yes. Except for the fact that there’s too many people in the Black Lion right now.” Keith said. “HEY! I WASN’T GONNA LET THEM BE EXPLODED BY THE EMPIRE! I mean the Decepticons. Sorry.” Royal said. “Wait, do you mean the Galra Empire? They’re not here right now.” Keith said. “I WASN’T TALKING ABOUT THE GALRA!” She screamed. “Okay, okay. CALM. DOWN.” Lance said “#YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN! YOU’RE BEING TOO LOUD!#” I said as if on que. “SHIRO! NOT HELPING! THE BATTLE ISN’T OVER YET!” Keith yelled.“Awww. I wanted to sing Taylor Swift.” I said. “Sorry, Shiro. Not happening.” Keith replied.

Hiccup P.O.V:“You okay, Bud?” I asked Toothless. He growled as if to say ‘yes’. “Good. We need to get out of here.” I looked at the bent and misshapen tail fin. “Alright. Easy. I’ll get your spare.” I said, and reached into Toothless’ saddle bag. There was nothing there. “Oh. Apparently that was the spare.” I said. Toothless roared in annoyance. “Okay, easy, Bud. Easy.” I said. “Don’t worry. I’ll be right back. I ran across from the Great Hall to my house. “Where is it, where is it, where is it?” I asked, as I opened the door and started searching. I spotted the red and black tail fin sticking out behind a desk. “THERE!” I said, and ran over to grab it. Once it was in my hands, I ran back across to the Great Hall. “Okay, Toothless. I’ve got it!” I said.I struggled to put the tail fin on, because Toothless kept moving around, but as soon as I got it, I climbed into his saddle. “Let’s go, Bud.” I said, and Toothless flew into the fight.We saw Shiro and Lotor walk out of the Great Hall, and Voltron had crashed to the ground. Megatron was fighting Optimus and the Riders were scattered.“Toothless, there!” I said, pointing to the fighting Autobot and Decepticon. “We have to help Optimus.” I said, and Toothless flew high above Megatron. Down below, we could see the fighting all too well.Megatron was completely beating up Optimus. It looked like the Prime didn’t stand a chance against him, but I knew that because he was Optimus, that outcome wasn’t likely. “Lower, bud.” I said, and Toothless dived down towards the Decepticon leader. Lightning sizzled all around me, lighting up Toothless in the sky. Megatron prepared to fire his cannon at Optimus, but the Autobot grabbed Megatron’s arm, stopping it. “Must it always end like this… D-16?” Optimus asked, causing Megatron to take a step backwards. “That is not my name anymore, Orion Pax.” Megatron said. “What in the name of Thor is happening down there?” I asked, as Toothless hovered above the two.“Let go, Optimus. Before I blast you into nothingness!” Megatron said. “Never.” Said Optimus.“You give me no choice then!” Megatron used his cannon to blast Optimus into the doors of the Great Hall, which crashed to the ground. “Oh, you have no idea how good that feels.” Megatron commented. “Hey, Megatron!” I called down. “WHAT?” He asked, looking around wildly for us. “Remember me?” As I said it, Toothless dove down and prepared his plasma blast. “Fools!” Megatron said, and blasted us out of the sky with his cannon. “Prime’s not here to save you now.” He said, and laughed. “Maybe not. But we are!” I looked up to see what was behind Megatron. “Yes!” I cheered as I saw Voltron. Megatron turned to face them. “You cannot beat me.” He said. “As I figure it? You’re just another one of Haggar’s robeasts.” Lance said.

Keith P.O.V“As I figure it? You’re just another one of Haggar’s robeasts.” Lance said, and Voltron got into a fighting stance. “This’ll be good.” Vi said, seeming excited about the fight. “Yeah! Did anyone bring popcorn?” Royal asked. I sighed. “Okay, Team. The only way to take this guy down is if we work together! Lance! FORM SWORD!” I said. The sword appeared in the hand of the Red Lion. “TAKE HIM DOWN!” Royal screamed in my ear. I winced. “You heard her. Get him!” I commanded, and Voltron started to run at Megatron.Megatron blasted us several times with his cannon. “FORM SHIELD!” I yelled, and the shield appeared in the Green Lion’s mouth. “Impossible!” Megatron yelled. “YOU’RE NO AUTOBOT OR DECEPTICON!”“Maybe not,” Lance said. “But we ARE smarter than you!”“Did you really say that, dummie?” Royal asked him.“ATTACK!” I screamed, and Voltron charged at Megatron, who blocked the blow of the sword with his cannon.“What the Quiznak?! Is that guy made of raw quintessence or something?!” Lance asked. “I don’t know! But we have to find a way to beat him or else Berk will be doomed!” I said, as Voltron punched Megatron in the face.“YEAH! TAKE THAT!” Lance said.“For the record, you did that horribly, Lance.” Vi said behind me.“You don’t know that!” Lance replied. “She probably does actually.” Royal said. “Just watch some of her fight scenes!” Royal then pulled up Arcane on all our screens. “Which episode is this?” Allura asked. To which, Royal happily replied. “Oil & Water! Episode 8! This one has some AWESOME fight sequences with Vi. My only issues with it are that Jayce is in it, and Jinx barely gets any screen time. The music’s good, though!”“Who is Jayce again?” Lance asked. “Boring Guy.” Royal said.“I think he looks cool, actually!” Said Lance. “He’s the one with the hammer right?”“Yeah. Unfortunately.” Royal said.“GUYS! Can you all stop watching Arcane?!” I asked. “It’s messing up our rhythm here.”Megatron was definitely kicking our butts here. All because Royal had distracted the others with Arcane. I sighed. “Patience yields focus.” I said to myself, reciting Shiro’s words. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the green lion move towards Megatron, punching him backwards. “THAT’S WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT, PIDGE!” Royal said. Then Vi asked, “Hey, Broody? Is it okay if I take over the comms to properly instruct them on how to properly fight someone?”What? “NO!” I said. “We got this.”“Sure, Broody.” Vi said. “I think Vi should teach us! I mean, I DID idolize HER before idolizing Jinx.” Royal said. “Oh yeah? How did that annoy Shiro back at the Garrison?” I asked. “Oh! This was BEFORE the garrison. I was twelve. Only one person in my crew liked Arcane at my level. He didn’t.” I looked at her. “Who is ‘he’?” I asked. “I think now is the best time to be FOCUSING ON THE BATTLE!!!” Royal yelled in my ear. “Ow! Royal…” I said. Lance proceeded to thrust his Bayard into the Bayard holder thingy in the Red Lion. “FORM HEXTECH HAMMER THING!” Lance yelled. “BOOO!” Royal called out, even though the only thing that happened was that Voltron’s sword formed again. “GET HIM!” Royal screamed, and Voltron charged at Megatron, and the two robots clashed in battle.

Shiro P.O.V:Lotor and I watched the ongoing fight in front of us. As far as I could tell, things weren’t going well for Team Voltron and the Dragon Riders. “Are they being less good at fighting today on purpose? Because from where I’m standing, it looks like the great Paladins of Voltron are doomed.” Lotor said.“They’re doing fine.” I said, even though it did seem like Lotor was right in this situation.“Really? I mean, look at them. They’ve disengaged the Lions and are running away from the battlefield.” Lotor said.I looked, and sure enough… Lotor was correct.“KEITH!” I yelled over the comlink. “Keith, are you okay?”“We’re fine. ROYAL, FOR THE LOVE OF THOR, TURN OFF ARCANE!!” Keith said.“NEVER!! IT’S GETTING TO A JINX SCENE!”“SERIOUSLY? YOU ARE INSANE, ROE!”“I’m actually an insane Arcane fan who just loves Jinx. DEAL WITH IT, BROODY!”“I’M NOT BROODY!!!”“On second thought… I’ll check in on you guys later.” I said.“Wait!” Lotor said. “Ask Allura if we can get back together!”“Fine. I guarantee you she’ll say no again, though.” I said, and then over the comm: “Allura? I know now is a REALLY bad time, but Lotor asked if there’s any possible chance for you two become a thing again. Which is not likely going to happen and all of us hate it.”“I have a message for Lotor.” Allura replied. “#WE ARE NEVER EVER EVER, GETTING BACK TOGETHER!!#”“Oooh! You used TAYLOR SWIFT!!” I yelled.“SHIRO, NOT NOW!” Keith screamed.“Fine.” I said reluctantly.“Shiro, can you PLEASE tell Royal to TURN OFF ARCANE?”“You’re on your own, kid. She does NOT listen to me.” I said, proud of my Taylor Swift knowledge.“You need help, Floof.” Royal said. “Don’t put random mentions of Taylor Swift into day to day conversation.”“Like you don’t do the same with Jinx?” I asked, and I heard Royal scream over the com. “Dude. Calm down.” Lance said.“Guys, LOOK OUT!” Keith screamed, as Megatron fired another blast at them.“Keith, are you okay?” I asked. There was no response. “KEITH!” I yelled.

Keith P.O.V:
As chaos erupted around me, my heart raced—not just from the tension of battle, but from the unmistakable bond I felt with my teammates, even in the face of impending doom.
“ARCANE IS NOT WORTH THIS!” I shouted angrily over the noise of thundering blaster fire. The pressure to be the team’s anchor weighed heavily, a duty I struggled to uphold even as I grappled with the absurdity of our situation.
“OMG! OMG! VI, HOW COULD YOU?!” Royal yelled at the screen, seeming oblivious at the fact that Vi was right behind her. “What’s the problem?” Vi asked her. Royal jumped. “HOW DARE YOU BECOME AN ENFORCER! Don’t you hate their guts? I never thought YOU of all people would join them!” Royal screamed. “Well… I don’t necessarily hate ALL of them. Right, Cait?” Vi asked. Caitlyn nodded. “Guys! I’m trying to focus! Shush! Now!” I yelled.
“NEVER!” Royal yelled. I sighed, and contacted Lance, and his face appeared onscreen. “What? No! I was watching that!” Royal screamed in my ear.
“ROYAL!” I snapped. “Lance, can you see if you can get the Lions up and running?” I asked. “Affirmative, Team Leader. Aaaand… it’s not working.” Lance confirmed.
“UGH!” I said. “How did Shiro get the Lions to work?” I asked, looking off into the distance to see Shiro & Lotor standing far away from us. “I think he just gave us that dumb pep talk, and boom! Lions turn back on.” Royal said. “What? I’m terrible at giving those pep talks!” I said. “Right you are.” I heard Royal say from behind me. “Now, Vi! I cannot see you and Jinx fight each other. As BOTH my favorite characters, I refuse to let that happen in season 2!” Royal yelled.
“ROYAL, SHUT UP!” I said, furious.
“Not. A. Chance.” She replied.
“Royal, seriously, maybe you should concentrate on the battle.” Jinx suggested. “Okay! But only because you told me to. Not ‘cause of Broody over here.” Royal said.
I rolled my eyes.
“Okay. Let’s get back into this thing.” I said. The lions suddenly powered back on, and the Red Lion’s hand pushed Voltron up off the ground.
“NOW!” I yelled, as Voltron ran at Megatron, and punched him in the gut.The Decepticon staggered backwards, and fell on one knee.
“I… won’t surrender.” Megatron said, looking straight at Voltron. “Oh, really? What if… we blow up your entire fleet, hack into your security system and give like all the access codes to the Autobots, destroy all your army… oh! And I forgot that we’d also be stealing your command ship! If you let us do ALLL that…. You can go! Free of charge.” Royal said. “One time offer. Take it or leave it?” She asked.
Megatron scoffed. “You win. There’s no way I’m letting Optimus get the access codes.” Megatron said, and walked away.
The Lions disbanded, and the Paladins got out.
“I never thought I’d say this, but… well done, Royal.” I said. “You did good.”
“Was there ever any doubt?” She asked. “YES!” all the Paladins said at once. “Touché. Touché.” Royal replied.
One by one, the Decepticon ships began to descend into the air, eventually becoming nothing but tiny specks in the sky.
Hiccup, Toothless, and Optimus joined the Paladins.
“Well, I think that’s the last we’ll see of them for a while.” Hiccup said.
“On the contrary, Young Haddock. I fear that they’ll be coming back to New Berk sooner or later. But for today, victory is ours.”
“Those bucketheads will be sorry if they ever come back. If they do, THEY’LL FACE ME!” Royal said.
I sighed. “Oh, the misery.” I said, and Royal grinned at me, remembering the song lyrics to Enemy.

??? P.O.VDarkness. That was the only thing I saw. The Galra prison never showed any light on my cell.The cold walls reverberated with the whispered strains of broken dreams and misplaced hope. How long have I been here? I couldn’t tell anymore. Time was a cruel illusion within these grim confines. But one thing remained steadfast: I was not finished yet. Soon, I would go home. And maybe… the war with Zarkon… would be over.
