One thousand nine hundred and sixty eight Years ago the cries of the first ash Na’vi’s echoed throughout Pandora’s volcanic landscapes and above its deep, black oceans. The unknown, formally peaceful planet of Pandora is no more, as Eywa has decided to breed new evolutions of reef Na’vi’sSirensthe reef Na’vi who were once only weaving nets and building traps to catch their prey now resort to their lengthened claws and fangs. The prey needed to quench their hunger and bloodlust no longer reside in the water but instead have taken area among the growing civilizations scattered across different biomes.Eywa has blessed these “new” reef Na’vi with slightly curvier figures to help them swim through Stronger tides. Slightly smaller more downturned Cerulean eyes with bigger pupils to better attract and lure their prey, sharper, longer fangs and nails which help to successfully tear and chew at their victims with little to no complications. Slight change in lighting their skin tone This however proved to be a major disadvantage as in order to continue with life the Siren must consume Na’vi. When standing side by side with a Na’vi born before evolution, all of the cannibalistic traits cause the Sirens to stand out to their prey this however doesn’t stand out to the invading ash tribes who were oblivious to the changes.During a few solemn decades, the ash Na’vi had quite literally risen from the ashes of their heating volcanoes to conquer land where they did not belong. Crossing their black sea, they land on Metkayina territory in search of treasures and wives. When refused, the ash Na’vi went into a mad rage, kidnapping the women and murdering their children. This was the wrong way to go as the Sirens began to maul the invaders; clawing out their guts, biting out chunks of the ash bodies, drowning dozens and eating their way inside as they drowned. Those who managed their way back to the volcanic lands weren’t safe yet. Stupidly, they had brought the kidnapped Siren women to their smoky homes. All it took was one song emitted from the lips of the beautiful Sirens to place all in a trance. In the trance they all swam to the bottom of their black sea as the Siren’s waited above, patiently waiting for the hearts of their captives to explode under all the pressure the deep holds for them. The feud continued, and eventually, other tribes of different forms of Na’vi began to try and intervene, keyword try. Many did not last long under the seductive gaze of the Sirens and soon they too became meals for the now cannibalistic reef Na’vi.Eywa had felt every one of the lives lost from the former Metkayina battles, out of all lives taken and given to her to protect, the large majority were that of female Na’vi. This was becoming an even greater issue as the eclipse’s slowly trickled away and more women were lost. The amount of male Na’vi had dominated the amount of women, unknowingly, the Na’vi were on the route to complete extinction. Although the male Na’vi were definitely able to mate with one another, the likelihood of a child being born from their mating is almost zero. This put the Na’vi life at a large risk. This is the reason Eywa had created the Sirens. The reef Na’vi were the closest tribe Eywa had to siren beings, both have similar ways of living and similar features. They’re water based Na’vi who can hold their breath for many hours if needed, much like the water born sirens who live in the sea for their entire life spans. All of the similarities made it easier for Eywa to shift a certain amount of genes in reef Na’vi’s to make it so that they will receive the maneater qualities needed to even out the Na’vi. The problem was quickly solved and it was peaceful once again, well it was peaceful for the Metkayina. Knowing of each other’s evolution made the male sacrifices easier, they knew of the risks had they decided not to and they chose the best scenario where their people would prosper.Sadly, the sacrifices were a terrible ordeal for other tribes. The overwhelming groups of ash tribes had dwindled down to a weak few dozen, as they had been completely decimated in their attempts of attack. Different clans in the forest and mountain also were affected - but not to the extent the ash Na’vi were. The biomes of both Na’vi were near each other and had similar issues with the sirens. The Metkayina Sirens sought out to kill and eat Na’vi from said terrains as they had a disproportionate amount of Na’vi males as compared to their females; it was their life mission. This caused tension between the Na’vi that would last for generations until the numbers of the Na’vi slowly began to balance due to the Metkayina efforts. The amount of male Na’vi now matched the amount of female Na’vi and in nineteen thirty-seven the tensions among the Na’vi tribes vanished. Meaning that the efforts of the Sirens were no longer needed. Slowly, the qualities that caused the Sirens to be five steps ahead of all other Na’vi disappeared. As more generations were released into the world, Eywa had gotten rid of their teal eyes, paler skin, sharper fangs and claws, lithe bodies, and their hypnotic auras. Returning them back to their original reef state. Now, over two hundred years later in the year twenty-one sixty-nine, Sirens have become nothing more of a myth to the younger generations of Na’vi. Despite having alive family members who were there for the aftermath of all the Siren bloodshed, the children brush it off as another grandparent story where they exaggerate every little detail. The most common stories told by grandparents was that of man eating Sirens; apparent mythical man eaters who Eywa bestowed upon their parents as a way to equal out the people.

Loud screams of pain can be heard outside the healing marui, Inside The Olo’eyktan and his mate, The Metkayina’s Tsahík, are being attended to by some of their midwives. They are there to help the Tsahík, Ronal, through the process of birthing her children, A very rare intents were most female Na’vi’s pass away. Outside the healing marui, Relatives and friends of both sides gather around the closed pod. Children can be seen expertly swimming in the shallow water, only a couple years older than the babies to be born. A mother can be heard scolding her boy for going too far in the cold sea as a fresh breeze blows around the na’vi’s.The leaves belonging to tall trees behind the village begin to shake, the color of the algae and their bio luminescent freckles start to flicker as another scream is heard from the Tsahík. The off white sand that was embedded with colorful jewels and corals from the sea were being discovered by the older children who are waiting for their tribe’s new arrival. Some older children begin planning out jewelry to make with the materials found when suddenly the colors continue, flickering to a light purple hue.Children’s laughter is heard in the background, they playfully prod at their now lilac spots and a few compare them to the color of the shells. The elders stand at the shore, watching as the algae switches its tone from bright blue and cool green to a variety of purples. One sister in particular is in disbelief, she grabbed her baby brother and pointed to the color shifting algae. “Look, Ongu! Aren’t the colors pretty?” The baby shrieks in delight, clapping his hands. The adults share knowing glances before looking back at the healing marui. The birthing cries have stopped, Replaced by the cries of young babies instead. As one of the midwives leave the marui, she announces to the adults outside as they suspected; Ronal had given birth to a Sirens, and immediately, questions explode from the parents asking what this could mean and what they need to get ready for the special ceremony to come.Cooing at her babies, the new mother is overwhelmed with emotions. She looks over to see her mate, Tonowari, laying next to her; he sees their girl has stop crying and is trying to opens her eyes while her bother is still crying, Tonowari’s eyes go back to his daughters he sees her long lashes surrounding her Cerulean irises. The baby stares and the two, eyes blurry and with confused. Ronal kisses the her cheeks and the tiny first Siren giggles in delight. Tonowari gently places his sons queue in his large hand who has stopped crying at this point, the two adults make eye contact when the Olo’eyktan speaks. “Tsireya and Ao’nung appear to be fitting names, doesn’t it?”Ronal smiles warmly, looking down at the kids in her arms “Yes,they are.” She gives little pecks all around Ao’nung and Tsireya faces as the babys start to giggles joyously—
As the kids grows, Ronal and Tonowari feed them akula meat, hoping it will tame their urges while they begin looking for sacrifices. Although the raw akula helped, it wasn’t enough for ao’nung as his urges for flesh grow stronger by the month, unlike his sister who’s urges were still satisfied with the akula meat. It isn’t until Ao’nung was at the age of five when the urges become unbearable for him. His parents, too busy with village to watch over their Sirens as the others need attending to, don’t understand the severity of his current inner turmoil. It isn’t until Ronal’s brother, Toarllä, along with his mate, Alrín, come to them, having been looking over the kids while the two parents go on their weekly hunt.Baby Ao’nung is being held by the woman, he’s thrashing around in her arms occasionally growling, While baby Tsireya was on the floor eating something she probably wasn’t supposed to the male siren was passed from Alrín to Tonowari, it is then both see the bloody red tint surrounding his lips and the inside of his mouth. Toarllä lets out a small laugh, “Looks like the fish was not enough to quench Nunu’s appetite.” He raises his left arm, it is wrapped in a light beige cloth. Alrin’s delicate hands unwrap the soft cloth, a deep circular bite rests on his wrist.Tonowari looks down at Ao’nung who wears a look of fake shock with his tiny hands resting on his chubby face. “What happen there, Lala?” Alrín holds back a cackle, wrapping her mate’s wound back up as Toarllä lightly pinches Nunu’s cheek.“Oh, you know what you did, Nunu.” Tonowari sternly says. The boy frowns and hides his face in his fathers neck. Ronal apologizes to her brother, believing the urges to not be as severe as she had hoped. Ao’nung apologies as well, feeling guilty for taking a chomp out of his favorite uncle. He accepts the apologies and kisses Ao’nung on his forehead, the mates bid each other their farewells. Ao’nung Tsireya and their parents head back to their marui Ao’nung clings onto his father. The hunger has been replenished now sleepiness resides where it once laid.Inside the marui, there are four mats where Ronal is walking over to put her now sleepping daughter on laying a thick sage green blanket placed on top of her.Ever since the night of of their firsts kids birth, the temperature of their land had dropped. The Metkayina used their skills in basket weaving to weave a variety of cloth blankets for the people. The sun still blazes hot rays of heat onto their island in Pandora but it’s not effective. The sirens, on the other hand, seems to have no reaction to the chilliness. For all of their years on Pandora, they swims, runs, and plays on the land like Eywa has still retained its fresh temperatures.
