"Sorry, Phich, but there's no way I'm doing that," Yuuri said, deadpan."What? But Yuuri, it's just this one thing," Phichit gave Yuuri his best puppy eyes, "For your very best friend so that he can pass a class."Yuuri stared at Phichit for several more moments before sighing, Phichit knew he had difficulty refusing something for his friend. "Alright," Phichit grinned. "I'll do it. What exactly is your assignment?""Okay, so my professor assigned everyone in the class to film and direct a recreation of a famous video. And now that you've said yes, I know just the video I want to recreate." Phichit had a mischievous smirk on his face, which just served to worry Yuuri. "What is it?""Well, to start, I need you to convince Viktor to help me with this too," Phichit stared off at one of the walls of Yuuri and Viktor's living room where they had been hanging out in thought. He nodded, "Yeah unless you want to get all up and personal with some random guy from my class, we'll need Viktor too."Yuuri blinked, "What is that supposed to mean? Why would I be getting 'up and personal' with someone? You're not doing some kind of porn video right, because I absolutely refuse to do that-" "Woah, woah, woah, woah!" Phichit cut Yuuri off, now blushing. "I wouldn't ask you to do something like that, and no, it isn't porn.""So what exactly is this, then? What video are you doing?" Phichit hummed, "I can't tell you that until you convince your husband to do this with us." Phichit might have been asking for a lot, especially since Yuuri didn't
have to do this for him, but Phichit also knew that Yuuri was curious enough to indulge him.Yuuri contemplated it for a moment, then seemingly making a decision, pulled out his phone. Phichit could see that Yuuri was going to call Viktor, "Thank you so much Yuuri, you would not believe how much my professor is grading this for-" "I still have to actually ask Viktor, so it's not a guarantee." Yuuri laughed at Phichit's face. "I wouldn't worry too much, this is probably right up Viktor's ally."Yuuri dialed Viktor, putting him on speakerphone for Phichit's sake. Viktor picked up on the third ring, "Yuuri, мое желание, what can I do for you right now?" Yuuri could hear the smile in his voice and smiled himself. Viktor always had that effect on him, and the ability to make Yuuri smile whenever and wherever they were.Phichit smirked knowingly at Yuuri, his friend always bragged about how he was the first person Yuuri told about his love for his now-husband, but Mari said that it was so painfully obvious to anyone who knew Yuuri personally, that it didn't really count, and technically she was the one who knew first.Yuuri rolled his eyes at his friend, "Vitya, love, you're on speaker. Phichit's here with me." "Ahh, okay, is everything alright?" Yuuri smiled at his husband's concern, "Yes, nothing's wrong, I just had something to ask you."Viktor hummed, and Yuuri decided to just come straight out with it, "Phichit has to film a video for his class, and I agreed to help, but he requested that you join as well, as someone needs to get 'up and personal' with me, whatever that means." Yuuri knew it was mean to use this tactic, but filming something with his best friend and husband could be fun, and Yuuri knew that Viktor would never willingly let someone else get that close to Yuuri that they didn't know.He could be very over-protective, and Yuuri was sure that Viktor would tare Yuuri away from someone if they were being too handsy with him, which is what Phichit said would happen in the video they were filming. Yuuri would also be much more comfortable with Viktor there with him, instead of being surrounded by only strangers and Phichit."Of course, I'll come film with you, дорогой. When will this filming be?" Yuuri looked up at Phichit, "It'll start next week if that's okay. I'll have to get everything else ready." Phichit said into the phone.Yuuri nodded at the same time as Viktor said, "Yes, that works for me. Me and Yuuri will be there!" Yuuri could hear the smile in Viktor's voice but knew that he was also still feeling jealous at just the thought of someone else being close to Yuuri. "Alright, thank you Vitya." Yuuri put his phone back up to his ear, turning off the speakerphone. "When will you be done training tonight? You're off speaker, by the way."Viktor hummed into the phone, "For you, my love, not long at all. I'll be home around six, Yakov is just finishing practice now. He really worked poor Yurio hard today." Yuuri nodded despite Viktor not being able to see him, "Alright, I'll start making dinner soon, then." Viktor made a sound of disagreement, "Yuuri, you have fun with Phichit, don't worry about dinner. I'll pick something up on my way home. We won’t spend much time eating tonight anyway."Yuuri blushed, making Phichit wiggle his eyebrows suggestively. Yuuri swatted at Phichit's arm, Phichit jumped away from him still smirking."A- alright, Vitya." Yuuri knew that Viktor was probably smirking to himself, looking like a sexy idiot in the middle of the ice, smirking while talking on the phone. "I'll see you then, love you." "Mhm, love you too, and be ready." Viktor hung up the call, leaving Yuuri blushing while Phichit laughed at him from the other side of the room."Oh shut up, Phich, I don't laugh at you when you get flustered by Chris!" Yuuri said, throwing a pillow at Phichit as he continued laughing at him. "You know that's not true, Yuuri. You've laughed at me loads, this is just payback!" Phichit dodged another pillow, telling Yuuri that he would get out of his hair so he could spend some time with Viktor.Yuuri just rolled his eyes when Phichit really did leave his and Viktor's flat. At least he could get ready for Viktor to get home...By the time the next week had rolled around and Phichit was ready to start filming, Yuuri was anxious to know just what this video was going to be a recreation of. Yuuri had explained Phichit's assignment more thoroughly to Viktor the day after Yuuri had called him, and Yuuri was right, Viktor was very excited to be able to do this project.When Phichit texted Yuuri the address of a beach, Yuuri was hopeful. There were a lot of famous videos on the beach that were actually pretty tame, so he just hoped Phichit picked one of those.He had no such luck.Yuuri and Viktor pulled up to the beach, wearing regular clothes with a couple of swim swimsuits packed for both of them. Walking up the beach, Yuuri was surprised to see that there were over twenty- twenty-one, to be exact- guys there. All of them were fairly attractive (though he would never say that in front of Viktor- not that they compared to him at all in Yuuri's eyes, but Viktor still wouldn't like it), all with different color swim trunks on. They also all wore white shirts, which made them stand out from Phichit, who was wearing bright, neon pink swim trunks without a shirt on.It was extremely hot, so Yuuri didn't blame Phich for abandoning his shirt to try and survive the heat. Phichit held a basket full of what looked like sunscreen bottles, and a camera in his other hand.Viktor waved at Phichit, "Phichit!" Phichit smiled widely when he saw them walking towards him. "Viktor, Yuuri, I'm so glad you could make it! I think if we get started soon, we may be able to get this all done today." Yuuri nodded, he and Viktor set down their bags near a beach towel that Yuuri knew was Phichit's.The two Katsuki-Nikiforovs gathered around Phichit, in a circle with the other guys. Phichit clapped his hands together, having set down his stuff on the beach towel. "Alright, just to recap what I just told you all," He gestured to the other guys Yuuri didn't know, "Make sure everyone puts on loads of sunscreen. No one wants to get burnt, and we will be out in the glaring sun for quite a while."Phichit picked up the basket by his feet and started passing it around the circle, everyone grabbing a sunscreen bottle. "Okay, before you guys start putting that all on, can anyone guess what famous video we're recreating?" Phichit grinned, looking at all of them, waiting for an answer.One guy near the middle raised his hand, "Uhm, are we recreating Mamma Mia?" Phichit's grin got impossibly wider, "Exactly right! Specifically, we'll be doing the song Lay All Your Love On Me from Mamma Mia."Yuuri inwardly sighed, he should have known Phichit would have chosen something like this. He couldn't even be surprised, with how long he knew Phichit, this was hardly more surprising than your average Tuesday."Phichit... never mind. How are we going to do this? What do me and Viktor have to do?" Phichit launched into a full explanation of what everyone would be doing when, and what scenes they would have to film before and as the sun went down. Phichit was hopeful that the sunset would look at least somewhat close to what it looked like in the movie. As everyone applied sunscreen, Phichit started to get out the costumes and props.All the guys were already changed into their costumes, being only swim trunks, but they did all need flippers and swim goggles. When Yuuri asked Phichit how he managed to find so many guys, Phichit explained that they were all in Phichit's classes, and all actually already knew each other. ("It was honestly surprising, I texted them all individually the location for where we would be filming today, and they all turned up and recognized each other. Apparently, they all shared some classes at some point." Phichit said, shrugging.)Viktor and Yuuri had to walk up to the public bathrooms and change into their costumes, which were a red camouflage swim trunk and thin choker for Viktor, and dark blue swim trunks with light blue square diamonds for Yuuri. Both outfits were very similar to what Sophie and Sky wore in Mamma Mia, and Yuuri was surprised that Phichit managed to get a swim trunk with the specific pattern of Sophie's swimsuit on it.Viktor kissed Yuuri sweetly before they made their way back down to the beach, where Phichit was already setting up some camera angles that he knew he needed to capture."Perfect timing, Yuuri, Viktor, we're ready for you to start filming." Phichit walked Viktor and Yuuri through the scenes, informing them of just what each scene was in the context of the video as a whole. The guys that Phichit had recruited to help cheered and wolf-whistled on the particularly sexy scenes, which caused Yuuri and Viktor to break character more times than they could count.When it came time to film the guys' scenes, all of them were extremely respectful of Viktor and Yuuri and made sure that they were okay with what Phichit was telling the guys to do before they did anything involving either of the married couple.The whole thing was very fun to film, Yuuri reflected on later. It was fun to be able to have a somewhat relaxing day at the beach with his husband. Even if that meant spending the day with twenty-one other guys as well. It was bittersweet when they filmed the final scene, a couple of the guys on jet skis as they rode towards the sunset.Phichit thanked everyone immensely for all their help with his film project, making sure to mention that he would be crediting every one of them. (The guys even got to pick what their characters would be called, instead of just "Extra 1", "Beach Guy 1", etc.)Looking back on it, Yuuri should have known Phichit had something up his sleeve, choosing him and Viktor specifically for the roles of Sophie and Sky. But when, a week later, Phichit called Yuuri, excitedly saying that he got a 100 on his film project, all Yuuri could think of was how happy he was for his friend. Yuuri and Viktor both congratulated Phichit, Viktor asking if he could see the final video Phichit turned in.Phichit just smirked, "Sure, I'll make sure you see it soon."Really, Viktor and Yuuri should have clarified what Phichit meant by "see it soon", because only a day later, Yuuri and Viktor's phones were blowing up.Yuuri thought it was just the usual social media explosion that happened when Viktor posted a particularly cute or risqué picture of them. Instead, what greeted Yuuri when he opened Instagram and Twitter was an onslaught of notifications, all tagging him about a video someone posted, supposedly of him and Viktor.It didn't take Yuuri long to figure out just what had happened.Phichit's post seemed innocent enough at first glance, but in reality, it was Phichit's film project. The one that he, Viktor, Phichit, and twenty-one other guys filmed not too long ago. While that wouldn't have been bad for many people, it was terrible for Yuuri. He was mortified that now people all over the world could see him throwing himself all over Viktor.(That wasn't really what the whole video was about, but Yuuri distinctly remembers having to film multiple scenes that he would never wish to go on social media.)After calling Phichit frantically, he was hoping Phichit would say something along the lines of "Sure, Yuuri, I'll take down the video right now" only for Phichit to explain that he "just wanted his fans to be able to see something he worked so hard on". Phichit's smug grin as he said this did not help Yuuri. At all. But in the end, Yuuri just sighed. There was nothing he could do about it now, and was it
really the worst thing he, Phichit, Chris, or Viktor had posted of them on social media?Okay, it might have been, but Yuuri would get over it. The words and black screen fade away, showing a picturesque beach. The camera pans to the right, showing off more of the beach before it cuts to Yuuri Katsuki who is smiling fondly at something or someone off camera. Yuuri is noticeably shirtless, his hair appearing wet. Music starts up in the background, easily identifiable as Lay All Your Love On Me. The camera then cuts to Viktor Nikiforov, dressed as Sky. He holds a fake cigarette in his hand, standing on rocks overlooking the beach and Yuuri as he starts to sing Lay All Your Love On Me. The video is almost an exact replica of the original, with Viktor putting extra emphasis when he sings "I'm possessive, it isn't nice". Yuuri is uncharacteristically playful, much like Sophie in Mamma Mia. He is also very confident, pushing Viktor away playfully before he starts singing, his voice almost as good as Viktor's. You can almost feel the sexual tension as Viktor and Yuuri flirt throughout the video, particularly when Yuuri is lying his back on the rocks, sliding down them sensually before crawling through the sand towards his husband and biting his lip. The swimming men are also amazing at their roles, each adding their own personal touches as they dance on the dock for Yuuri. As the men ride on their jet skis toward the sunset, the screen fades to black, the music fades out as well. Words again slowly appear on the screen, this time the credits.
