“Master.” Hun greeted with a bow after entering Shredder’s domain. “Everything is set and we can begin the operation now just give--”“No.” Answered Oroku Saki AKA the Shredder. “Not everything is set, there is still one last thing to take care of…Permanently.”“Master, if you are referring to the turtles, there’s no way they can--”“Silence!” Saki demanded as he got up from where he sat.Hun bowed apologetically. “Forgive me Master.”“The turtles will soon no longer be a problem, I have already assigned Karai to begin the plan.”Hun frowned and clenched his fist, frustrated that he was not the one to be in the lead of this plan nor play a part of it. That Karai was chosen instead. He knew better than to argue or disobey his master though and excused himself before leaving.Karai had just arrived at a distance from the designated spot with her adoptive father’s four elite ninjas in tow. “Remember, we only want the one turtle my Father specified, the others are to be left alive..”The Elite nodded silently before vanishing into the shadows as Karai watched the streets from above, a brief look of hesitation crossed her features. “I am sorry, Leonardo…”The four turtles were playing ninja tag in the junkyard to get some fresh air when the leader in blue felt something was off. “Time out guys!”“Yo Leo, what’s th’ deal?” Raph threw his hands up before gesturing to the youngest turtle. “I was jus’ about’a kick the shell outta—er, tag Mikey!”“Hey!” The youngest glared.“Quiet!” Leonardo commanded, he was just about to pull out one of his katanas from its sheath on his back when he was suddenly kicked from behind, while the kick hadn’t gotten him completely off guard, it was hard enough to cause him to lose his footing from the pile of junk he was currently on and rolled down to the bottom.“It’s Shredder’s Elite Ninja!” Donatello exclaimed, quickly grabbing onto his bow and cautiously looked around, for the Elite do not act alone and he knew more were moments away from striking. To which they did, soon enough each of the turtles were fighting one Elite Ninja. While the four tried their best to stay together ass Leonardo always told them to do when in a fight with the Foot, even he knew that sometimes being separated from one another could not be helped.Donatello and Michelangelo, both being experts in long distance fighting with their weapons as compared to their older brothers were the first to begin separating from the others and from each other despite their own attempts to stay within a reasonable distance. The Elite that Donatello was fighting was just as ruthless as to be expected, which required all of the purple clad turtle’s focus as he not only tried to defend and attack, but also tried to think of a way to use his surroundings to his advantage.Once they were at a far enough distance, other foot ninja surrounded the two. Donatello grit his teeth as he gripped his bo staff tighter while cursing himself. How could he not foresee this? ‘ I can’t call my brothers for back up, there’s no way they’re done fighting yet…There’s also the fact that even if they were finished, they probably wouldn’t make it in time... Or they could be facing a similar trap. I only have one choice.’ He twirled his bo staff and began to fight against the Foot Ninja to the best of his ability, he knew there were too many but he would not go down without a fight! He would never give up!Within an instant, Donatello felt like he had been stung by a bee and his eyes widened, he didn’t even have to take it out to look to know what it was. Especially not with the sudden feeling of drowsiness overcoming him. “Oh shell…” He tried his best to fight off the tranquilizer for as long as he could, which wasn’t more than two seconds more before falling unconscious and he was carried off by the Elite.Donatello woke up with a headache, his injuries that he had sustained in his fight were treated, which he found to be quite odd. He’d been captured by his enemies before and none of them had bothered to treat his injuries… Which also begs the question, how long was he out for? Were his brothers kept in other rooms? Once his vision was no longer blurry, he decided to take a look around. He was in a holding cell, his legs were shackled to the back wall and his arms were shackled together, but he had some space to move around in. ‘The walls are made of reinforced steel, there isn’t any windows and the only door has a scan by it. Most likely the only way to open it is with an authorized hand to prevent me from using the one way out if I managed to get free.’

The purple clad turtle tried everything he could in order to free himself. He didn’t have his weapon on him, or any tools nearby. There wasn’t even a chair he could use to break off a leg and makeshift into a pick in order to pick the locks… How was he going to get out of this? He wasn’t sure, but he didn’t give up. If there was something he had more faith in than his brain, it was his brothers. There is a chance they didn’t get captured…Though if that was the case…

The door opened and Karai walked through with Hun following her, both smirking at the captive mutant turtle. “Greetings, Donatello.” She spoke.

“Lovely accommodations.” Donatello replied sarcastically. “Where are my brothers, Karai?”

“They are at the same place you last saw them, but unconscious.”

“By now they’ve regained it and are looking for you.” Hun added, his smirk growing wider. “You’ve been out a few hours, though that was to be expected given the high dose we gave you.”

“So it’s just me…” He grit his teeth, while he was relieved his brothers were save. He knew what this was now, he was going to be used as bait to lure the others. Why him though? “What’s the plan now? I just sit here and wait until my brothers come?”

Karai did not respond, but she silently signaled two foot ninjas to enter the cage and to remove the shackles from his feet before dragging him out despite the purple clad turtle’s struggles against them. The two ninjas tossed him unceremoniously to Hun, who held onto the turtle tight, but not tight enough to injure him.

Karai exited the room and into the empty hallway with Hun following. Donatello decided to look around his surrounding once more. ‘Now that I can move a bit more freely, perhaps I can find something to help me out… Unfortunately the hall was empty, nothing but flickering lights and damaged walls with dust and even mold on it and the floors as well, a clear indication that wherever they were had been abandoned for a couple years. Which was completely different than what the other room looked like. Was that room remodeled specifically for the purpose of holding him?

Once the elevator stopped moving, the two exited and Hun threw the mutant turtle onto the ground roughly before forcing him onto his knees. The turtle looked up to see none other than his family’s most hated enemy- Oroku Saki AKA the Shredder, otherwise known as an Utrom named Ch’rell.

“Shredder…” Donatello glared and scowled at the man who was slowly approaching. “Plan on using me to get to my brothers?”

“I plan to do far worse, Donatello…” He continued to circle his captive much like a predator does to its prey as he smirked. “I have done combat with you four many times and overtime I have come to realize that you four have a weakness. One I am not sure even you or your brother realize.” He stopped in front of him, kneeling down so the two were at eye level. “At first I thought it was Leonardo who held your pathetic team together, but it is actually you.”

Donatello’s eyes widened. “M-Me…?” He was confused. “What makes you think that?”

“According to my sources it is you who is the only one capable of doing anything with technology, not to mention those troublesome vehicles you’ve made in that past were by your hand. My sources also tells me that you are simply put, the glue that holds the team together.” He smirked. “Without you, they will fall.”

Before Donatello could talk to question him as to how, the door had opened as heard a few footsteps make their way towards them, judging by the pattern the mutant estimated two people had entered.

“I have brought the old colleague of mine I told you about, Master Shredder.” Spoke a familiar voice.

Donatello turned around and saw Baxter Stockman, or rather just his brain and singular eyeball in a lanky mechanical body. Beside him was a middle aged woman with eyes as green as their shells and scarlet red hair and a wide grin that looked like those grins one would see on those movies with mad scientists. He felt his skin crawl and his stomach drop at the sight of her grin. This woman was… Unnerving to say the least.

“Doctor Leonore Schneider and it is an honor to be given the opportunity of a lifetime!” She approached the mutant turtle excitedly and pinched his cheek, quickly retracting them before Donatello got the chance to bite her as she went back to Stockman. “You were right about these mutants being feisty and stubborn! Didn’t you say there is more than one though?”

“Yes, but you’ll only need just the one for this assignment.” Stockman answered, adjusting his glasses. “I believe I told you as such?”

“I miiiiiiiiiight have tuned you out after you told me I would be getting the chance to perform such a huge experiment with you!” She chuckled. Even her chuckles sounded sadistic as her tone.

Donatello swore he felt his stomach drop as his body tensed, glaring at the two scientists. “Experiment…?” He then turned his glare to Shredder. “What is she talking about?!”

“While flat out destroying you and your brothers would be satisfying, I realized you all deserve to suffer greatly before I finish you all off once and for all.” His smirk twisted. “Tell me Donatello, what do you know of taxidermy?”

‘That’s why they had my wounds tended to!’ Donatello’s eyes widened as he paled, he felt like his heart dropped that time and his throat was dry. “N-No…! No!” He stood up and lunged at Shredder.

The Shredder merely laughed and kicked him down with ease. “Oh that won’t be all that’s in store for you… I’ll leave you to figure out the rest.” He laughed maniacally as Donatello was dragged out of the room as the turtle struggled and cried out for his brothers, for his father. He knew he'd never see them again...

Meanwhile, Karai headed elsewhere...
