A gentle jostle– soft like a lover’s, wakes Caleus.
Though he’s only been on the Express for three jumps, somehow his brain knows instinctively that it’s the next stop, Lushaka. Yes, despite his relatively short time on the Astral Express, it is a natural familiarity. There’s an expectation in Caelus; hearing the Conductor’s announcement of arrival, or March 7th’s teasing about how he could sleep through a jump now, or Welt calling a meeting to foreshadow the next big crisis they would be walking into…
But through bleary and fogged eyes,
she
is the only thing in focus– the only thing in Caelus’s view.
A familiar young woman, hands clasped before her chest as if in fervent prayer as a forlorn -almost
lost-
look haunts the half-lidded, star-dusted horizon of her eyes. With head bowed slightly in reverence it makes her hair spun from metaphorical moonlight drape like wavy curtains over shoulders drooped in that begrudging acceptance of a desperate hope’s failure. Yes, Caelus knew this beautiful, caring, and lonely young woman.
“...Firefly?” Caelus groggily asks while rubbing his eyes. Hadn’t she departed the Dreamscape before him?
“C-Caelus…!”
A sigh as perfectly gentle and warm as a Penacony breeze, relief refreshing as that first sip of a SoulGlad™ on a star filled night.
“What are you-”
The Trailblazer’s already preciously few words are cut short by Firefly throwing herself upon him. Arms around his neck, her feminine suppleness pressed against the hardness of his chest, her aura of blazing affection growing all the more engulfing as his arms instinctively pull her closer.
“I thought you were-” he begins to mumble against her cinnamon-and-smoke-scented hair, only to have the deceptively powerful girl push him back by the shoulders before she places a single silencing finger on his lips.
“I’m going off-script… and I had one last dream I wanted to fulfill… before I go.” Firefly confesses.
With the Trailblazer disoriented, confused, and most definitely aroused, Caelus’s lips are hers for the taking. The only target she’s ever hesitated on, the only target she’s never had the utmost confidence in assaulting… but it was a weakness born from inexperience, and what better way to get experience than this? Hands on his cheeks to hold him in place, she’s locked in-
Caelus finds wherever words he
would
have said sucked right out of his lungs the moment her lips slam against his. It… feels sloppy, but who is he to either know or complain when you’ve got a beautiful girl on your lap doing her damndest to merge herself into you? In fact, the wonderful thing about losing his past is that now Firefly could be his first kiss- a piping hot and fresh memory that he fully intends to experience to his fullest.
Firefly has no idea what she’s doing, knowing only that to press your lips against another’s is a sign of intimacy and affection, so leave it to the Trailblazer to fearlessly push forward when her own stride falters. His hands are strong and firm when they caress her back and neck, holding her firmly in place when the dwindling self-consciousness wants her to retreat and hide. A sigh escapes, a delicate gasp follows, and a surprised squeak is suppressed by Caelus’s tongue boldly blazing a trail between her lips to reach out and connect to hers.
It’s like… lightning when they touch– the same sensation when she had first grabbed his hand back before… except more
raw.
Untainted by the heady airs, bright lights, or the burden of their scripts. She feels his boundless passion for life, for hope, for… her.
Years– no, decades –
eons
even– pass in a fleeting instant of lips smacking, trembling whimpers, urgent gulps for air. Hands roam and frantically explore, not knowing whether this is dream or reality, but wanting to leave a mark all the same.
Hers finds shoulders broad enough for her to rest her head, his chest firm and muscular yet his skin creamy-smooth and almost doll-like, and the lance she’s sitting atop of warming and filling with that Magma Will of his.
His finds her waist so dainty but her hips so alluringly curved, her butt so defined and tight but temptingly springy, and the toneness of her thighs so perfectly framed between skirt-hem and thigh-highs that they practically taunt him to attack them.
A quick scoot back– a tiny retreat from her met with a sudden possessiveness as he holds her tighter. She can’t help but giggle– all to hide the guilt from knowing he reflexively does so out of fear that she’ll… vanish again. And like a firefly drawn to the flame, she takes hold of one of Caelus’s hands and slowly guides him beneath her skirt… to where she’s burning up.
“Firefly?”
“I want this…” Firefly says firmly, rocking her hips forward to graze his fingertips across the silky surface of her hidden undergarments. His touch invokes a sharp and involuntarily excited inhale, like the intake of a jet thruster readying for takeoff. “...P-Please, Caelus?” she manages to somehow both innocently
and
seductively whimper.
How could he turn her down?
After all they’ve been through?
No, it’s because of all they’ve gone through that this intimacy felt so natural–
nostalgic even–
like he’s somehow known this girl for much longer than the few dream-days they actually have. Overfamiliarity as a side effect of the Dreamscape probably. His gaze drinks her in, eyes analyzing each and every change in expression, as he traces the defined boundary between the sweetness of her skin and the enticement of her panties. He paints a picture in his mind’s eye- the design a needlessly complex iteration of the simple triangle, complicated by what feels like frivolous petal motifs stitched with silk, but Firefly appreciates his fingertips gliding across her. In fact, she encourages him by reaching down to rub his bat beginning to bulge between the two of them.
“D-Do you want to see them, Caelus?”
Throat dry, heart pounding harder than when he faced down a well-endowed Lord Ravager, the spirit of the Trailblaze has him nodding emphatically without second thought. Firefly blushes, embarrassment forcing the evening-sunset of her eyes to glance away as she daintily pinches the white ribbons on the sides of her skirt… and slowly… hesitantly…
teasingly
lifts it. Caelus is transfixed watching the curtain rise on Firefly’s private little show, but he swears he can see a mischievous glint in her eyes when they dare a quick glance at him.
“Almost got it right-” he mutters the intrusive thought aloud, the disappointment in his voice making Firefly suddenly straighten up out of shock.
“I-I’m… sorry…?”
Caelus’s gaze is firmly affixed on the detail he had missed– the two little light teal “leaves” that formed the ribbon that crowned Firefly’s growing warmth. He reaches for them, letting the fabric play against his skin… and the sweet girl on his lap reflexively shivers.
“The ribbon is cute. It suits you,” he teases his finger further down to where all of those fanciful frills point, “so I should have imagined it too.”
Firefly lets out a note somewhere between a whine and excited squeal, but she sucks it right back up when his finger slips into the subtly pronounced cleft between her thighs; the source of all of her heat. Her reaction is just as cute, just as innocent, and it makes him want to tease her all the more. The desire to see the Stellaron Hunter Sam coo and quake at his touch…
feels right.
As much as his sudden and playful curiosity brings those delightful pangs of pleasure, his boldness only incenses her more. She can’t just let Caelus run amok all on his own. The big, dumb… stupid grin of his, the way his golden eyes light up when he gets a squeak from her… how he
throbs
in protest while trapped in such suffocating confines...
It’s a yearning for freedom that Firefly can empathize with… and
he
isn’t bound by silly things like military regulations. Getting the “cock” out from the “cockpit” isn’t as swift and instinctive as shedding armor, though… and in fact she finds it frustratingly difficult when he’s… when he’s distracting her with… his… touch…
“Nnn…”
Firefly stifles a particularly pressing moan when his fingers delicately pinch the fabric clinging to her crotch, wiggling a finger in to create enough slack between the moisture-stained fabric and her leaking petals that he can just slip right on into her. Walls that greet the sudden interloper with a halting, yet ultimately futile clench, a heating of the sticky sex-syrup with the intent to sweat it out of her is only met by his gentle, if not eager, exploration of her every detail.
“Caelus…” Firefly whines in protest, tugging at his zipper and
really
playing up the helplessness. Harkens back to… well what felt like
years
ago, even if it only had been
a few days.
Still, like the gentleman that he is, when a trailblazer like himself sees a young woman in distress, he just can’t help lending a hand.
The moment he’s freed himself is the moment he’s in Firefly’s grasp… and her yearning for him is just the slight bit nostalgic considering their brief-but-eventful history together. And, also just like before, it’s out with the meek lie and in with the assertive desire that a dreamer like Firefly is as she pushes Caelus into the sofa to make room for herself upon his lap.
She is lingering straddled above his Spear of Preservation pulsing excitedly in one hand, elegant panties hastily pulled aside by the other… before she sets his blazing tip into her weeping want. His hips buck instinctively at the sensation, hungering to take her, but Firefly’s hand upon his chest is a firm enough
“down, boy”
to let him know who’s in charge right now.
A deep breath from one, a suspended breath from the other-
They lock eyes, each wanting to bear witness to their conjoined dream being fulfilled-
In one swift movement, she is filled with his raw and throbbing spirit of the Trailblaze; and he is enveloped in the raging inferno that consumes her very being.
A restrained yelp and a wanton groan echo through the empty passenger car, twisting together before returning to the couple on the sofa.
And Firefly smiles as one of her most earthly desires… is fulfilled. She’s impaled on his lance, but feels no pain, just an overwhelming surge of satisfaction as she sits atop a throne of her own choosing. It placates her gnawing uncertainties with temporary, ephemeral companionship.
“I-It fits.” she exhales, turning her tilted smile at Caelus.
A perfect fit, if there ever was one– or if he could ever know what that would feel like. Two halves of the same whole? A complex puzzle fitting together on the first try? While he’s imprisoned trying to imagine the most apt metaphor, Firefly starts to move. She tentatively raises her hips, dragging Caelus through sticky pleats that cling to him like reuniting long-lost lovers would have. Electrifying stimulation that shocks his senses and paralyzes him, leaving him unable to move– just bearing witness. That sweet girl in teal, still fully and modestly clothed… and yet so unbearably arousing knowing the secret dealings going on under that skirt of hers. If any of the crew came in, it’d be a predicament sure, but one that they could wave off as
mostly
pure youthfulness... if not for the red-hot flush brightening Firefly’s cheeks or the heaving pants of exertion humid off her lips.
-and for some reason… it’s an image whose familiarity is maddeningly elusive– like a word lost on the tip of the tongue or a thought on the precipice of recollection.
“C-Caelus…”
Firefly whines softly–
longingly
as she slowly rides his rail down then right back up. Each pleasurable round trip grows that little bit faster, that little bit deeper as her body gets used to him blazing a hot trail through her flesh.
“Firefly!” her partner calls back, his embrace growing more tight, more burdensome…
more real–
–and that makes her heart ache painfully so–
So with a small, but firm hand over his overly-generous heart, Firefly shoves Caelus back into the couch. She wants the safety of distance, of secrecy again, but without having to give up the pleasure of intimacy she’s craved. With one hand on his knee, she leans away enough that she can let her head roll back, let her hair splash down, lift her skirt to air herself out… as well as give her sweet Trailblazer a new fixation as she rocks her hips back and forth.
Eyes closed, she can feel the heat of his virile lance being thrust into her long-dormant walls; imagining the path it’s charting through her once-armored core as her other hand absentmindedly glides against her lower abdomen.
When Caelus first met her, she seemed so innocent, so lost, so desperate to not be alone- and not once had he dreamed that their seemingly fleeting friendship would lead to that same girl leaking steamy little gasps as she
rode
him into the cushions of the Astral Express. Her hips gyrate, rock, sometimes lift off the track to give him a glimpse of his freshly polished bat, and he can only keep his hands planted firmly on her thighs lest he ruin this “Iris Family’s actress’” performance. Still, he yearns for more; imagining what Firefly would look like naked while writhing atop him. With the way she moves; is her belly nice and toned? The tassels of her orange bow flick and flutter with each hasty movement, disguising just how much bounce the tightness of her chest has under that white blouse.
She tries to hide her face by letting her head roll back like that… but her blush is as unmistakable as her little mewls of surprise. Fleeting glimpses of eyes squeezed tight as she savors the sensations, she seductively vents that pent up heat hissed through plump and glistening lips, the corners of her mouth twisted in a radiantly captivating smile-
She’s certainly enjoying herself, now isn’t she? A mischievous thought takes hold in Caelus just then; a little blessing from Aha perhaps? While watching Firefly relentlessly stir herself up with his stiffness, the Trailblazer tilts his head quizzically, almost nonchalantly as he asks,
“Firefly… do you like my bat?”
“-Nnn- Caelus…” she whines, but there’s no innocence to hide behind this time. The way she trembles and pulses up and down his length, she’s caught red handed and unable to let go of the lance that’s still buried in the crime scene.
“I’m just… curious… that’s all.” he manages to say with a whiff of dismissive suaveness, hiding the sinful pleasure he gets from Firefly’s writhing clench of shame, despite her having been frozen solid upon his lap.
To her credit though, she weathers the provocation well, wiping the sweat of exertion from her brow while Caleus awaits her inevitable follow-up. He swears to the Trailblaze that he saw a scowl flash darkly across her face, but the false actress does seem to have
some
performance experience as she smiles back charmingly, cocking her head to match him.
“Your bat… is over there against the wall, silly.” Firefly says matter of factly, pointing to a corner of the cabin that Caelus has to crane his neck to try and see- only for the young woman to grab him by the cheeks the moment he takes his eyes off of her, giggling at him falling so easily.
“But…” she continues, leaning in until she’s nose-to-nose with him, “I do like
you…”
A confession so cheesy that it stank of a cheesy funk, but it’s paired with a fine smile that could super-break his self-control. When their lips touch, it is tenderly this time; savoring, intimate, caring…
And now it’s Caelus’ turn. His hands glide from her thighs, caressing their way up and over Firefly’s hips, urging her to deepen this kiss- and on his extra action he clasps onto the dip in her lithe little waist.
Her reaction is immediate –instinctive even– as she leans further into him, wrapping her arms around his neck to dance her petite fingers through his hair… while raising her hips expectantly.
Caleus grips her tight… and slams her down onto his lap while thrusting with all his might. A strike to pierce the most stubborn of defenses, to break through her ironclad suit of secrets and sorrows, and dig at the suppressed flame within her.
A sharp little
“Ah!”
squeaks from Firefly, but it’s not the grand cascade of her sweet pleasure-addled warbles that he wanted to hear. He bucks her back up, cocked and ready once more, feeling Firefly abuzz with anticipation as she involuntarily wiggles her hips and tangles her fingers into his hair harder.
Another impaling thrust to drive his Ever-Burning Amber into her core, trying to reignite something that he just intrinsically knew was buried deeper inside of her. Over and over again, harder and faster, like they were frustratingly striking at one another like flint and steel until a spark catches.
And when it does… it is
consuming.
It starts with a pained yowl that explodes into a roar of fiery growls and primal snarls, the popping and crackling of the fresh flame being the heavy, fleshy, sticky-wet slaps of two bodies colliding together in raw and unabashed coitus.
And it was Caelus who hadn’t been prepared for the inferno he unleashed.
Firefly entwines herself around him from both within and without, clamped on tighter than a shackle around his whole body. She’s yanked his head back by the hair to expose his throat, forcing him to gaze skyward at the dancing lights of the Express– at least until she fills his vision with herself. Like one flame consuming another, she smothers him with her own wanton moans being cast straight down his throat like molten metal. His hips buck and thrash with no rhyme or reason against her body percussing against his. There is no sweet and tempered timing, no passionate tempo, just an all consuming desire to become
one
with someone– to desperately connect with a kindred soul.
Repeatedly, savagely, self-destructively-
And he thinks he can understand her words.
A dream of a scorched earth-
Of a new shoot sprouting, blooming in the morning sun-
Of a firefly drawn to a flame-
“Firefly!”
he calls out for her, for her reason, for her affection…
And to stave off those final words, to break the cycle, to… find meaning.
“C-Caelus!”
she sings back, reaching through the imaginary flames of her mad desires…
His molten will, that fervent wish to preserve Firefly wells up from deep inside of him and bursts through their cherished connection. It flows life up into her, a white-hot hope filling her soil with seed.
But can the soil contain such hope?
Was there even soil to begin with, or is it just the scarred, scorched land of
her
dreams?
He embraces her tightly before knowing the answer.
To hold her down, to keep her here, with him, that little bit longer. To selfishly indulge in her loving coos, the soft presses of her lips against his sweaty skin, her fingers dancing blazing trails across what exposed flesh she can singe her essence upon…
They share struggling gasps and contented sighs, impassioned kisses and achingly needy hugs, and he’d share his very
life
with her if he could-
-but that is dangerous thinking, even for a dream. Dreams
can
affect reality, after all-
And so, with forehead pressed against his, Firefly lifts herself off his lap, feeling his love and adoration slip away into that familiar, panging emptiness.
“Firefly?” he questions, knowing the answer but not wanting to hear it.
“Always remember… don’t leave with any regrets.” Firefly whispers, slipping off of his lap to stand on shaky legs. A hasty retreat– one that certainly appears hypocritical to her final words when she bites her lip and takes one last longing look at Caelus.
One step back off of the tracks and into the void;
he must act
now.
Trembling lips holding something back as the cabin lights dim;
his heart sings out for her, this girl he’s only just met but somehow just inherently
knows.
She spins away, unable to look at him any longer as the darkness encroaches;
hand outstretched, he reaches to catch her, firm in his convictions.
Firefly gasps in surprise, choking back the tears when she feels his hand claps tight around her wrist.
Never before had she really known
what
she wanted after her first life burned up.
On the dawn of her second life though, she found something worth striving for.
On the eve of that fleeting happiness, she understood profound despair.
Given hope, she began to understand how…
unfair
it all is.
“Firefly.”
two voices call for her, overlapped, entwined, both the same yet so vastly different. Past and present? Or maybe… present and future? It shakes her to her very core, leaves her vulnerable to the soft-hearted emotions that threaten to drag her back into that naive dreamscape.
She gasps, suddenly awoken from the mists of an echoing reverie when Caelus swings her around and lays her down upon the plush crimson cushions. Quick to straddle and pin her there with his body, it's his piercing golden gaze that keeps her shackled beneath her.
“No regrets, right Firefly?” he whispers, wiping a tear from the corner of her eye.
“I… but… w-we… and… I need to-”
He cuts her stammers off with his lips once more.
Firefly’s yelp is muffled, her protesting pushes for Caelus to get off her as half-hearted as her earliest lies to him. It's not so much a struggle against him as it is… her fatalism.
-often when waking, one’s dream can affect their decision making in the real world-
Once-protesting hands… cling to his jacket instead. She tugs at the black that shrouds him, wanting him to cast off that unintentional reminder of sunless skies, leaving only the dim moonlit outline of his shirt against the glow from outside the windows.
Oh how she wants to let her heart be free, to let it bravely spread its wings.
Caelus answers her unspoken desire by undoing the clasp of her cloak and brushing the opening aside, letting her shed her singed wings onto the floor beside his jacket. She shudders as his fingers follow the gentle contours of her bare shoulders and down her arm.
The black, beady clasps of her blouse clip open so easily, the collar on her neck loosened with just a single finger’s gentle tugging, another layer of her silky white carapace molted. It is the last of her wings, too, exposing the delicate body covered in only a thin shroud beneath the layers. Sudden bashfulness overtakes her, a fearful hesitation that…
That when all these beautiful white petals are blown away, she’ll want to stay trapped in her cage-
Caelus once again warms her cheek with a calloused, yet caring palm, his thumb tenderly bringing attention to her lips. He leans in, fills her vision with those unblinking rings of gold glittering with hope.
-but all the storms they’ve weathered together? If her heart is the thing that chains her, then he’ll help her break free- help her become anew.
When those idealistic eyes close, she mirrors him, once more trusting in his heart more than her own.
Breath suspended.
Warmth.
Tenderness.
Affection.
For a… monster like
her.
His kiss is a promise…
a gentle whisper, a secret that they’d keep- a dream they could share.
Firefly’s heart leaps into her throat to throttle her to make her gag and revulse in the face of the one boy she’d give her all for… but Caelus senses the self sabotage, captures it, and dispels it so easily with his embrace and her name on his breathless lips.
No… no more hesitation for all those unanswered questions she has. She
wants
to believe that she deserves something- that she could wipe the sorrow off her life… even if he won’t remember her.
In that moment, Firefly finally snaps out of her reverie. Seemingly resolved now, she grabs the bottom of Caelus’s shirt and, before he can even make sure it clears his arms, yanks it up.
“H-Hey wait-
Firefly!”
he yelps, struggling against the confines of his own garment.
Firefly can’t help but giggle at the sight of
the
Trailblazer with his shirt up and over his head, arms flailing and unable to get free.
But more importantly, it leaves his belly
exposed.
All soft and vulnerable, like being caught outside the cockpit… except when she places her hands on that sculpted bit of skin… well his chest is certainly hardened
enough.
“Firefly, what are you- h-hey! S-Stop!”
Caelus barks, but there’s mirth in his voice, so of course Firefly pointedly ignores the protesting. Her fingers dash all about his unarmored body, scanning, finding all those little points of weakness that make him flinch and flail helplessly. She pays
particular
attention to his abdominal muscles though, finding herself entranced by how they flex and grow more defined while the Caelus squirms.
“Stop… tickling…”
the Trailblazer groans, tone twisted with the soft pout of abdication. Firefly can’t help but muse that if this was all it took to get the spirit of the Trailblaze to surrender– well whichever Lord Ravager had faced Caelus clearly overthought their methods.
“You can always just… get up.” she teases, dragging a finger down to his navel, drinking in the joy of seeing him squirm helplessly.
“Never.”
Caelus’s reply is instant and deathly serious, the urgency of his disrobing such that he
clearly
tears his shirt off and throws it to the other side of the carriage. Oh she’s done it now; she sparked that Trailblazer’s Spirit within him, and even if she were to keep wallowing in her resignation
he certainly won’t let her.
If there were any unspoken rules to their little tickling game, well, rules were made to be broken as Caelus swiftly relieved Firefly of her teal slip to reveal the nubile girl beneath it all. The suddenness and ferocity of it leaves Firefly flustered, desperately covering herself even with her underwear still intact… though the mischievous glint in Caelus’s eyes tells her that won’t be the case for much longer.
Except being brutally stripped and taken with punishing fervor isn’t written into her script yet. Caleus’s fingers wriggle and prod, probing for the same places that she had found on him, hoping for a reaction. He’s still smiling, laughing alongside her as she plays along with trying to ward him off.
She hasn’t the heart to tell him the truth.
“Too bad I’m not ticklish, huh?” Firefly giggles, laying still to watch his fruitless efforts a little longer.
“Not fair!” he pouts, but she grabs him by his wrists and places those strong, eager hands upon her hips… but just in case the Trailblazer didn’t get the subtext clearly enough, Firefly gazes deeply into her eyes and breathlessly declares,
“Caelus. I’m… ready.”
Though the corners of her mouth pull into what could be considered a smile, Caelus senses something… despondent in her reactions– and that just wouldn’t do. He still hooks his fingers beneath the band of her panties, still slowly and reverently peels them away from her, still touches her with compassionate fondness. She wasn’t lying about being ready; even with their last escapade leaving stains, Firefly’s petals weep a silky nectar when Caelus’s fingers glide through her pink slit. The tiniest of shivers of both excitement and impatience when he parts her legs…
And the gasp of surprise when he kisses the inside of her thigh, right where the golden band of her stockings hug the juicily toned thigh. Firefly might not be ticklish, but she certainly knew what a kiss could feel like– and soon she was going to feel what one would be like traveling down her savory leg, or affectionately smooching the band of her panties, or a little further down, right on her…
Firefly’s legs snap around Caelus’s head the instant that confusing, mortifying, yet…
electrifying
sensation jolts up her spine. A threat for him to tread
very
carefully, but she doesn’t want him to stop, telling him that much with each heave of humid breaths as she unclips her bra and lets the pads fall away.
Caelus’s imagination couldn’t have conceived a more incandescent allure even after all his time admiring Firefly. Hips that flow gently to an hourglass waist; breasts that, while not as bountiful as the other women in Caelus’s life, have a perfectly pliant bounce and jiggle as she writhes in embarrassment; somehow even more seductive and carnal with her limbs still wrapped with white but the milky ivory skin of her core so exposed.
“C-Caelus…”
Firefly whines, impatience with all this unnecessary tribute building towards a complete combustion. Hands grope, pining for him, and for a brief second he flinches, still remembering her early aggressiveness.
But Firefly holds arms open in invitation, eyes sparkling a constellation of hope and desire, waiting for his response.
Pants kicked free in the blink of an eye, he falls into her embrace.
With her arms renewing their vow of unification and thighs resting on his hips awaiting his Engine of Creation to fire up, Firefly guides Caelus into her weeping, desperate devotion.
There is no thrust, no hungering lust, just the two of them gently becoming one once more. Both sigh softly when they are complete, hearts pulsing in double-time deep within, and Firefly can’t hold back a mirthful, girlish giggle.
She’s laughing at herself, at the hypocrisy she’s become. This boy laying with her, a perfectly familiar stranger, her dreaded doubt and hope alike, but despite all of the pain his visage brings she still… will always be drawn to him.
No further hesitation because of this painful cycle repeating, she’ll just have to keep this dream alive. They’ll just have to fall in love all over again each time they wake up until they make their unfettered dream come true.
Firefly hitches her legs on his hips and entwines her arms around his neck, easing him down to her warmth, inviting him to be the one to claim her everything this time with just a little nudge of her heels against his backside.
Their bodies move together, one receiving the other, a transference of both love and the urgent
need
to reunite before their personal little Golden Hour draws to a close.
No words, just the sound of their breaths singing sensual harmony with the tempestuous tempo of their bodies. Yes, all that escapes Firefly’s lips are gentle, wordless warbles of want, repeated with each passionate pump of Caelus’s hips dipping that little bit deeper.
They share a silent hope, chasing a dream that they’ve declared.
Over and over, doomed to repeat: Life begets death-
But
she
can choose the path to the end.
She
can walk that journey, with all the joys and sorrows that come with it.
And if she would choose him, again and again and again-
Firefly’s heels dig into Caelus’s back with the desire to drive him as deep as he can give. So he does, fighting against her fiery determination to hold him tight, carving himself into walls that greedily try to milk him for every drop of pleasure. His sole focus is
her;
for his name off her quivering lips, to see her tremble with delight, to
free her from the shackles of her fate.
To lift her up, soaring high in the evening sky and heal the stings of her life–
“Firefly-”
he breathlessly gasps, losing grasp on his part of the dream. Control slips, the steady rhythm of affection growing into the wild drumming pace of lust. Her blush, her lips parted ever so slightly, her breasts pressed tight against his chest, her legs bound behind him, her every fold and coil as intoxicating as the most sweet of Penacony’s liquors
.
Every fiber of Firefly… is calling out for him to
let it all go.
-That she will always accept him.
His release is…
potent;
a climax so full of emotion that he gives in to Firefly’s embrace in mind, body, and spirit. Spasming, shuddering… sobbing, he can feel himself slipping away with each spurt of his very self into the literal girl of his dreams. The dawn is here, and Caelus… is scared that he is going to lose her again.
He scans her face, eager to gleam
something
from Firefly’s sudden stoicness, only to find that angelic face tainted with the subtle shadow of sorrow. She… feels the same, then? Caelus tries to sit himself up, but just doesn’t have the strength. The next droop of his eyes is just a few seconds longer, but so much heavier… and though the world blurs when they manage to open again, Firefly’s face still remains perfectly in focus.
And she tenderly smiles, sympathetic and knowing as she pulls him down to her breasts. Arms gingerly wrapped behind his neck, fingers dancing a soothing caress through his hair as she gently coos a calming hush to his tears. His eyes shutter once more, and refuse to open again as their time slips away like his consciousness. Her lips are warm against his forehead though, her breath tickling his bangs as she whispers,
“You’ve got important things to do, but…”
A gentle jostle– soft like a lover’s, wakes Caleus.
Heart pounding, hyperventilating, ripped from a dream and plopped down in the Astral Express once more…
But
her
voice still echoes.
“-remember me.”
