It had been a few weeks since Linda was suspended after hitting Ferguson with her baton, after Quinton helped her with the legal issue that presented itself. Quinton told Linda that he would help her the best he could to give her tips and tricks on how to deal with her PTSD. After that Linda and Quinton begun a close relationship they had started dating.Linda was sitting in her kitchen, as she was on the phone with Vera. "Yeah I can take her while you do errands it's no drama." Vera agrees and said "I'll be 20 minutes max." "That's fine." Linda heard a knock on the door, Linda then said "Give me a minute." "Cool." said Vera. Linda opened the door and it was Quinton. "Vera, can I take a reign check?" Vera laughed and said "Of course you can. See you later!" Linda hung up as she put the phone on the table.Quinton kissed Linda on the cheek and said "How does it feel like being back at work?" Linda nodded and said "Great. Just what I needed." Quinton closed the door and said "I need to tell you something.." Linda lowered her head. "No.. no, it's fine." said Quinton trying to reassure Linda."I've been asked to go into the city, I need someone to take my shifts for this week." Linda rubbed her temple. "It's the graveyard. All this week. I checked." Linda looked confused and said "That's.." "Something I requested because..." Quinton took a deep breathe and said "My former handler requested to see." "Former handler?" said Linda raising a brow. "Police handler.""Oh god." said Linda. "Please don't tell me something is about to go down in the prison because if it is.." Quinton stopped Linda and said "It's not that. I have to be informed on a lot of information regarding some of the women who are already in Wentworth. A lot of the gangland wives." Linda rubbed his eyes and said "The Gangland war is over and has been for almost 20 years." Quinton then said "I arrested half of those women Linda, they don't realise who I am yet or are too off their fucking faces to know I helped arrest their husbands. The gangland war is far from over, at least in street terms."Linda then heard another knock on the door, Linda opened the door and it was Senior Detective Collins. "Miss Miles." said Collins as Quinton looked at him. Linda rolled her eyes and said "What.. You two worked together?" Collins nodded and Quinton said "He was the lucky one." Collins lowered his head as he said "We need to leave. You know how much Hudson hates people being late." Quinton nodded as he was about to walk out the door, Collins phone rang, he answered it. Linda was about to close the door, when Collins said "I'm sorry to do this Linda, but Hudson requested that you come as well." Linda looked at Collins and said "Excuse me?" "You're in a senior role in the prison, and he doesn't trust Will." said Quinton. "I'm sorry but I have work tomorrow, I can't not show up." "All it takes is a phone call and your week is sorted." said Collins. Linda thought about it for a minute and said "Fine."===As the driver was making his way to the city, Linda was looking at Collins and said "You know after you arrested me last time I thought I wouldn't date another cop.." Collins smiled and said "I'd arrest you again you know." Quinton looked at him and said "Collins.." Collins laughed as he knew Linda was half joking about the arrests but he knew he had to move on.The driver then said "We're almost there." as the car was making it's way to the carpark, it went into the underground carpark and went to the empty spot, the car turned off as Linda looked, the carpark looked familiar to her, but she couldn't place it.The doors opened as security then said "The boss is waiting." security helped Linda out of the car and closed the door. Security, Linda and the boys started walking to the elevator and they went in where the security officer pressed the button for the top floor.As the elevator opened on the top floor, security was everywhere, Linda looked around and seen a guard on every door. "Where are we?" said Linda. Quinton then said "Federal Police HQ."As security told them to keep walking to the end of the hallway the guard on the last door which lead to the 'conference room' was opened, Linda, Quinton and Collins walked into the room and the doors closed. There was a person sitting at the end of the table who wasn't facing them. The person cleared their voice and said "Please.. Take a seat."Linda, Quinton and Collins sat down as Quinton then said "Commissioner Hudson you requested to see us?" Linda raised her brow and said "Commiss.." before trialing off. Hudson stood up and said "That's right, I did request to see you both. I'm terribly sorry to intrude on your work week Miss Miles." Linda confusedly nodded as she said "Hudson was your police handler? I thought you said you worked in a station.." Quinton then said "I'll explain it all to you later Linda.. not here.." ===Commissioner Hudson then said "There's something going down in the small time gangs." "Is it drugs?" said Quinton. "After last time you know I can't go back to working in the station." Hudson then said "It's the usual but turned up to 11. I fear this could be Melbourne 2.0." Linda then said "Drugs are fast becoming an issue in Wentworth but that is every prison.."===Hours pass as Linda learns the details of murders and deals made by the gangland wives as Hudson handed Linda a file and told her to give it to Will, as Quinton and Collins gave the information they had to Hudson. "Everything you've given me will go toward Taskforce HAWKEYE. The taskforce will go public in a matter of weeks. But you have to be on your toes.."

"Linda.." said Will who was sitting at his desk after Linda had requested to see him. Linda looked at Will and said "I know it's late.." Will raised his brow and said "It's 3am.. Could this have waited?" Linda shook her head. "No." Will knew it was serious if Linda wanted to talk to him even after the siege. Linda looked at him and said "I was taken to a meeting by Quniton.." "What type of meeting?" Linda took a deep breath in. "The police commissioner."Will stood up and said "What? What is going on?" Linda then said "The commissioner believes there may be a second gangland war.." Will rubbed his head and said "I don't understand? The war is over it's been over for more then 20 years. The main guys are either dead or in prison.." Linda nodded and said "Yeah, but the wives are still here.." "Pardon?" "Will, Quinton worked during the gangland war and he saw just how much it effected the people and the city, the wives for all we know could start up things in here, and if that happens.." Will didn't understand the gangland war but he knew the staff who lived in the city knew so much about it."What do we do?" said Will. "Keep a close eye on the women for one.." said a voice from the doorway. It was Quinton, who was wearing a suit. "The gangland war may be over, but with the small gangs out there we don't know what is about to happen." Will looked at Quinton and said "Are you in any danger? If you are you need to tell me." Quinton then said "I know how to look after myself..", Quinton then walked out before Will could say anything.Linda rubbed her head as she said "It's just the commissioner talking. It's not the early 2000s any more the gangs are smarter then they used to be. We need to be on alert. But we can't risk staff losses." Will nodded as he said "I need to speak with the AG. See what's going on." Linda nodded as Will said "Go home. Get some sleep.."---Linda was in the car as she pulled over to a park spot. Linda heard her phone beep and it was Will sending a message to staff. Linda didn't look at the message but she saw someone standing at the pier. Linda decided to get out of the car and go toward the person, as she got closer she realised that it was Quinton. "Quinton.." Quinton turned around and said "Linda what are you doing here?" "Out for a drive." Quinton rolled his eyes as Linda said "I need you to tell me the truth. I need to know if you're in trouble with the gangs Quinton.."Quinton looked at Linda and said "I arrested half of the women in the prison Linda. They know me." Linda then said "Then you need to transfer out." Quinton shook his head. "Not happening.." Linda then said "You're not in the force anymore Quinton, we have no weapons, if the women know you what is stopping them from attacking you?" Quinton then said "I know how to protect myself." Linda then said "Don't do this." Quinton looked directly at Linda and said "I have to.""I'm sorry what? You left the force because your partner died in front of you. What are you trying to prove? Are you even telling me the truth?" "Of course I'm telling you the truth. I owe the force everything. I just can't transfer out just yet. It's not what I want to do."Linda then says "Are you still a cop? Are you still on the force?" Quinton didn't say anything. "Let me ask you a question Linda. I want you to answer truthfully. Would you rather be safe working in Wentworth or what you rather be working elsewhere?" Linda looked at him and said "I'd rather be teaching again. But I can do that at Wentworth. I can organise things like that." "It's not an answer is it? So please don't push." "You didn't answer my question.. I don't care if you are still on the force. But you need to tell me, because if you are..""Fine. Yes and no." as Linda was about to respond she heard her phone go off. "It's Jake..""Linda!" said Jake on the phone "A riot's broken out. We need everyone here.."

"So much for sleeping.." said Linda as she got back into the car with Quinton getting in the passenger set as Linda started driving back to Wentworth. Quinton then said "Linda.." Linda focusing on the road said "I know what you're going to say. But I can't do this right now." "Linda please let me tell you why I came to Wentworth.." Linda nodded as Quinton said "I retrained of course, but I'll always be a cop. I never truly left the life behind. I needed the structure. My life and jobs have always been like that." Linda then said "Do you actually love me?" "Yes. Of course. I do."As Linda parked the car in the Wentworth carpark, she saw Jake standing in the carpark. "We came as fast as we could. What's the situation?" "The women have taken over in the yard." Linda rubbed her temple. "How the fuck did they even get out, let alone in the middle of the fucking night?" Jake looked and said "Officer Wardle was doing night rounds and one inmate was still up.." "Who?" said Quinton."Hopkins.." Quinton then said "Call the commissioner.." as he ran off into the prison. Linda then said "What's Will doing?" "He's trying to calm down the situation. But things are pretty bad.." "Mind if I use your radio?" Jake nodded "Go right ahead.." Linda said through the radio "This is sierra 6 I need a progress report?" "Sierra 8 to sierra 6 there women in the yard with flares.." "HOW THE FU.." Linda couldn't finish the sentence as Linda was getting a phone call. "Miles.." "It's Hudson, what is going on? The riot's woken the neighbourhood.." "We need the riot squad." as Linda said as she walked into the prison. "On their way.." Linda then said "Send everyone."---In the yard Quinton was holding a rifle with the other guards waiting for a move. "What do you want?" shouted Quinton. Will who was watching on from his office as he heard Linda make her way to the office. "How long has this been going on for?" "Awhile. After you left." "What the fu.." Will shrugged his shoulder. "I think we have to take this Hudson thing seriously." Linda nodded as she said "The riot squad are on their way.." As the women in the yard relaxed Linda asked for another report. "What's going on down there?" Officer Webb answered "The women are hyper. There are no injuries to report or damage.." "Try and break them up.."---Hours passed as the riot squad had arrived to break up the riot that was happening, but things turned violent as the women started throwing items at the guards, Commissioner Hudson ended up showing up in person and he made his way to the yard and screamed at the women. The women looked at him and said "I am Commissioner Hudson. Police Commissioner Hudson. Are you ready to extend your sentences? Right now it is 6am. You get up in an hour. You're all adults. If you fail to stand down you'll be shot.."Will and Linda looked at each other as Hudson said "Get your asses inside. NOW." minutes pass, as the women decide all move. As Hudson said "I will make sure charges will be added to your sentences." Hudson requested the officers to stand down and lower their weapons as Linda said to Will "I don't know about this.."
