Shutting the door behind him, Ran sighs with content. For once, Tomoe had asked him to say goodnight to ako for her, as she was practically falling asleep. He was thankful that she hadn't pushed herself, even for something as simple as this. Crossing the hallway, he makes his way to the younger girl's room.It's distant, but he can hear some kind of video game music playing from behind the door. He knocks softly before entering. "Hey, Ako.""Oh, hi Ran-chan!" she beams with excitement. "Where's big sis?""She's asleep. She asked me to say goodnight to you, tuck you in and stuff." He moves to stand next to her, observing whatever she's doing on her gaming console."Aww, really?" Ako frowns. "I'm almost done this level. Can't I stay up a little longer?""Hmm..." Ran pretends to think to himself, already knowing his answer. "Sure, why not. But don't you have rehearsal tomorrow? Minato-san won't be happy if you're not at your coolest."Ako nods. "True, but I can handle it! I'm always at my coolest, most darkest form~" She strikes a signature pose, console still in hand.He laughs a little. "Whatever, I'm sure your sister won't mind as long as you keep it down.""Horray! Thanks, Ran-chan!" Ako moves, hugging him tight. "Make sure you tell big sis I say goodnight, okay? And that I love her, and that she's the coolest sister ever!"Her sister's boyfriend manages to hug her in return. "I will, I promsie.""On second thought, she probably won't hear you. Big sis is a heavy sleeper."The two share a laugh, and Ran even ruffles Ako's hair. "I'll try anyways. Goodnight, Ako. And sleep well, whenever you do.""G'night, Ran-chan! I love you!"As Ran begins to leave, he pauses for a moment. "...I love you too, Ako."As he closed the door behind him, the sound of her game isn't as loud. Either she's muted the volume, or she's actually going to bed. Both possibilities sound just like her, and Ran can't help but smile. Even with her growth and improvement, Ako hasn't changed much since when they were kids. She was becoming an incredibly cool person. And Ran loved being a part of it.Quietly, he makes his way back to Tomoe's room, shutting the door with as little noise as possible. He stretches, glancing over at his girlfriend's sleeping form. She was snoring lightly, but she looked so peaceful. No stresses or pressures to bother her.When Ran gets in bed again, he wraps his arms around her waist, spooning her. Nuzzling his face in her back, he wants to be as close as possible to her. And even in her sleep, she moves a little closer as well."Hey, Tomoe."There's no reply, other than a sleepy mumble."Tomoe, are you up?"Still nothing. Ran sighs, moving to brush her hair away from her neck. He thinks for a moment, before kissing her skin, even beginning to nip and bite a little. This soon has an effect on the girl in his arms, her waking with a yelp."Ran!""Ahaha!" Ran chuckles teasingly, "I knew that would wake you up.""Yeah, for sure...." She seems a little disappointed that he's stopped kissing her."Sorry, no more from me tonight. And sorry about waking you. Ako wanted me to tell you goodnight.""Mm..." Tomoe mumbles sleepily. "Thanks, for doin' that for me.""No worries, Tomoe. I got your back, always.""...Ran..."Before he can react, she's resituated herself in his arms, now facing him directly. She leans in to kiss him, sleepy yet passionate. Ran kisses back, not as tired and not that surprised by the showcase of affection.When Ran pulls apart, Tomoe tries going back for more, only for her boyfriend to stop her with a finger to the lips. "Hey, that's all tonight. You need to go to sleep."She groans. "Nooo, you're the one who... woke me up, and stuff... got me all fired up..." She yawns, clearly losing the fight in her. "Can you, like... kiss me goodnight or somethin'?""Yeah, you can get a goodnight kiss." He leans in, kissing her a little more passionately than before. She practically melts into it, but lets out a whine when he gently bites her lip.Ran pulls away, laying on his back. "There you go. Are you happy?"Tomoe snuggle/ up to his side, tiredly wrapping her arms and legs around him. "You're no fair, Ran... but I guess we can't be too selfish, hm?""You realize I'm the selfish one, right?""Yeah... but I like it, when you're selfish..." Letting out a final yawn, she nuzzles against his neck. "G'night, Ran... I love ya."Ran thinks for a moment, before shutting his eyes. "...I love you too, Tomoe."
