It was a nice quiet night in the woods of light…...Well-ll as quiet as it could get…. On the floor of the forest where two figures sleeping, one resembled a blue and pale yellow frog snoring loudly, this was Globox, and the other was a humanoid figure that appeared to be limbless, had strawberry blond hair, and wore a purple hoodie with a red hood and a white ring on the chest.It was also wearing white gloves and yellow sneakers that had red dots on the heel and had white bottoms, this was Rayman. Almost everybody and everything within the forest was sleeping.Almost everyone....there were a couple of yellow lums floating about. At first they were just randomly floating about, not doing much, until they started to float closer to Rayman.
There was then a bright yet small glow, soon after that in Rayman's place was a rabbid that looked similar to him........Next morning-------Rayman had just woken up. He didn't notice what had happened due to having just woken up. To him it was just another average day….. For now.
He then walked to where the river was. As he began to wash his face, he then saw his reflection.Now when somebody wakes up for the first time they usually don't process all things at once, so when he first saw it you couldn't really blame him for thinking that for a minute or two that the reflection he was seeing belong to somebody else, and you couldn't really blame him either that when the realization did hit…well…let’s just say rumor has it that he broke the record for highest number of birds startled with the volume of that scream.As he was trying to process everything, he heard a stick snap behind him.As soon as he turned around, he realized he had an audience and unfortunately for him, he also noticed that they did not look happy.“Is that a rabbid?”“I think so…”“What is it doing here? I thought they all left?!?”“Is he trying to impersonate Rayman or something?”“He must be a new enemy! The Rabbids must be planning another invasion if he’s here!”Ho boy and as if being turned into a Rabbid was bad enough, somehow being labeled as an imposter made it even worse.But before he could get lost in his thoughts he then saw Globox, at first he was glad to see him until he saw how scared he looked.“Wait ... .a Rabbid? Those things kidnapped my kids the last time they invaded!”Oof that hurt, was Globox always that loud? Right…..He was a Rabbid now…He had better explain who he is before the situation got much worse than it already was. “Bwah bwah bwa-”His hands smacked onto his mouth, that was definitely not what he was trying to say.“QUICK!! Get him before he calls his friends!”He quickly started waving to try and get them to hold on and tried to speak again.“Bwah bwa-”“Don't try to act innocent! We know what you guys are up to!”“Yeah! You managed to fool us once! You ain’t gonna fool us twice!”“YEAH! LET’S GET HIM!” Rayman quickly realized he had two choices, one he could try to defend himself and fight back like he usually did…or run away.That choice was easy….he started running. Not like you could blame him, after all would you fight your own friends?He starts running away all while trying not to stumble over his own feet, which wasn’t an easy task. Since his legs were now shorter than what he was used to, he couldn’t run as fast. How he managed to get a head start though was a miracle in itself. The woods of light were pretty easy to travel when it was during a time of peace, Fortunately for him as long as he avoided the water, he should be fine.
Rayman did know how to swim, he just didn't want to risk it in case this body wasn’t good with water.He just barely managed to jump over a platform before someone nearly grabbed, he wasn’t sure who it was but he couldn’t dwell on that now, no, right now he needed to run as fast as he could.
Get to somewhere where he could figure this out and find a way to fix this.He quickly ran up a hill, he didn’t know this part of the forest all that well but he couldn’t turn back now for all he knew the group that was chasing him was right behind him.
He tried to quickly look behind to check how close they were until he bumped into something green.That was the last thing he saw before finding out that the hill he was running on was actually a cliff…..
