Think of them like Deoxys! Just visitors. They all have worlds, like the ultra deep sea (kinda looked like the Reverse World, if you’ve ever been / seen the photos), but, often being so far from home makes them aggressive. The most dangerous / malicious ones are Nihilego, but, we’re pretty sure not every one acts like the one that I encountered. They come through ultra wormholes

Sometimes people aren’t official champions or are of semi-official leagues so theres a little ranking system for it all! Trainer -> Ace -> Gym -> Elite -> Champion. Most of the time, champion ranks can decimate much of everything with ease

Contests telegraph their shows, makes it easy to slot them on the rankings (especially top coordinators).
I normally cover double battles (since I was once a Champion covering that area of battle, I am very experienced with it.)

It is BLISTERINGLY hot, there are very high-levelled Pokemon all around me, terrifying Steel types that keep Glaceon from effectively keeping me cool, I’m exhausted, I feel like I’m always out of water, and at night, I get bullied into staying closer to the town, because they claim if I stay out I’ll hallucinate DEAD PEOPLE.
