Anri, Haruna and Kasane Background +Shuuji

Vault 113 was derived of a 24 families that over the 200 years in the vault turned into 3 families. This was because there was a one child cap on babies due to limited supplies.
The Kujiragi, the Sonhara and the Niekawa families all ended up having daughters. Niekawa’s mother of the family passed before they were able to try for another child hoping for a boy since the other family, Sonhara already had a daughter and were having trouble conceiving another. The kujiragi consisted only of Kasane meaning that the last real hope was for the Sonhara and the kujiragi family to continue on.
Kasane was also the current overseer of the vault, taking over for her father.
The experiment that was going on was to raise a few families around an artifact that was found in Japan that seemed to have the ability to meld with people’s consciousness and manipulate their feelings to a degree. This artifact was the blade named saika. Saika before the vault was enacted was split into two mother blades and one child. These blades were hidden in the vault and the families were left to their devices with the blades just out of reach but still able to have their effects felt.
One of the mother blades stayed with the over seer’s family to make sure that they had a weapon against the others just in-case any of the other families found the other blades. The second mother blade ends up going missing any the over seer does not know which family ended up with it.
With the three families now knowing their bloodlines were doomed after Mrs Sonhara failed to conceive, Mr Sonhara turned abusive. In the night Mr Sonhara turned his anger towards his daughter. This leads Mrs Sonhara to kill her husband and herself with the second mother blade. Which is how Anri acquires the blade.
With the first kill from sika having accrued the vault is opened and Kasame sneaks Haruna the child blade before she is whisked out into the wasteland by her father.

Shizuo, Kasuka, Shinra and Kyouhei Background

In vault 333 an experiment was going on to see how far they could take body modifications without anyone noticing or without it being obvious to the outside world looking at the individual with the modifications.
Vault 333 was surprisingly peaceful and had no major issues besides certain individuals continuously getting “sick” and needing to go into the infirmaries often. Shizuo and Kasuka were two individuals that were often in the infirmary which is how they met and befriended Shinra. Shizuo being the older and the slightly more strong of the two siblings was chosen to be the next subject to be modified with out his knowledge.
When he was in the first grade he was bullied to the point where he lashed out and his hidden body mods kicked in and he was able to throw a desk across the room, due to these mods being incomplete and for his young age he ended up breaking his arm and shoulder. Between his now frequent trips to the infirmary and the outbursts other vault dwellers started to fear and avoid Shizuo and his family like radiation.
Kyouhei was one of the few kids his age that didn’t seem to care about the strength or the outbursts of his classmate. Kyouhei was level headed and while he wasn’t especially close with any of them he helped them out and would talk to them when he had a chance. Kyouhei was known as a pillar of the vault for being an upstanding kid who helped everyone out as much as he could possibly. He is selfless to a fault and if it wasn’t for Shizuo’s interference when raiders broke into the vault and started slaughtering the other inhabitants he would have been one of the many to die.
Shizuo at the age of 17 being the oldest and the strongest of the teens tried to gather the rest of the teens to hide them in a room until the raiders left, however due to their mistrust of him only Kasuka, Shinra and Kyouhei actually listened and followed. Shizuo ended up hiding them in a room and going out to distract the raiders from the room. He ends up killing and scaring off the last of the raiders. Getting back to the room Shinra ends up having to stitch up and saving Shizuo’s life. As he finishes up stitching Shizuo’s wounds up his step mother Emilia ends up finding them and escorting them to met up with Shinra’s father Shingen. (Shingen is also the overseer)
For the next 7 years the guys fought to survive in the wastelands with a flighty Shingen and Emilia as their only guardians.
Currently they are a part of the minute men in the common wealth with Kyuohei and Shizuo being opposite pillars, of the group. Kyuohei serving to unite the people and to help as many as he can and Shizuo being more of the muscle who goes out and is used to scare others into calming the hell down from any infighting.
Kasuka while formally being in the minute men as taken to residing in diamond City where he is known as an up and coming star for his radio station he runs (Insert radio station name) this is also where he meets Ruri Hijiribe and they started dating.

Namie Yagiri and Seiji Yagiri Background

The Yagiri’s are apart of the institute and have been apart of human experimentation for years. Namie worked her way up in the faction as a way to keep herself and her little brother Seiji. Having no close relatives but their creepy neglectful uncle growing up led to Namie growing unhealthy attached to Seiji, she became obsessed with protecting his innocence from the wasteland after an accident in one of the labs leaving a young Seiji a bit odd and aloof.
Both Seiji and Namie don’t know that this accident was not an accident but actually an experiment in itself, Seiji that night was replaced by a synth to which Namie has either no idea or is in blissful denial.
Seiji is quite detached from all things including his sister who is still taking care of him.

Mikado and Masaomi Background

Born in Vault 525 Mikado and Masaomi grew up in a suffocatingly safe environment. The dwellers of vault 525 were subjected to having little to no control over their own lives, they were carefully monitored and had all autonomy stripped of them. The experiment was ran to see how humans develop over generations of having no identity and no free will.
Anyone who went against any of the rules even one as simple as chewing gum would be exiled from the vault into the harsh world.
Masaomi’s family ended up getting kicked out of the vault and Mikado and Masaomi lost contact for a while until Mikado was put in charge of the radios on his 15th birthday. By chance he found a frequency that connected to Masaomi who was asking for assistance from a near by minute men settlement.
After getting caught communicating to Masaomi over the radios by the overseer, Mikado was kicked out into the wasteland. Fearing for his sheltered friend Masaomi sets out to find Mikado and brings him to the good neighbors.

Celty and Shooter Background

Celty is an assualtron who was created by the institute but after loosing her head in a battle has no memory of her directive and goes through the wastelands looking for her head to try and remember her purpose.
Celty on her journey of looking for her head finds a radstag that’s second head was decayed and only a skull. Feeling a sort of kinship with the beast she named him Shooter and started traveling with the beast. Eventually she meets up with Shinra and Shizuo.
Shinra creates a temporary head fashioned from an old biker helmet so she can blend in more. Shizuo goes out and finds some clothes cause “Everybody should have clothes on their back.”

Kinnosuke Kuzuhara Background

Kinnosuke Kuzuhara is a seasoned tracker and bounty hunter known for his unmatched skills in locating and capturing elusive targets across the Commonwealth. His reputation for precision and persistence has earned him respect among those who deal in dangerous and high-stakes work. Kinnosuke’s background is shrouded in mystery, with little known about his past or the reasons behind his relentless pursuit of certain bounties.
Kinnosuke’s latest pursuit involves a particularly challenging target: a runaway Assaultron that has gone rogue and is missing its head. The Assaultron, a highly advanced combat robot, escaped from a research facility or possibly from a group of raiders, and its current whereabouts are unknown. The headless Assaultron is a dangerous entity, equipped with advanced combat protocols and weaponry, making it a formidable threat in the Wasteland.
Kinnosuke has been tracking the Assaultron across various settlements and ruins, following leads and piecing together information about its movements. His mission is not just about capturing or destroying the rogue robot but also uncovering why it fled and what might have caused it to lose its head. There are rumors of a hidden agenda or secret experiments behind the Assaultron’s behavior, adding an additional layer of complexity to his quest.

Izaya, Mairu and Kururi Background

Izaya and his sisters, Mairu and Kururi were part of a government experiment within a vault, designed to create the perfect manipulators and assassins. The project was a success—too much so. The siblings turned on their creators, escaping into the Wasteland. Izaya’s manipulation skills were enhanced to a frightening degree, allowing him to charm, deceive, and control others with ease. Mairu and Kururi, trained in lethal combat and infiltration, became his deadly shadows. Now, they roam the post-nuclear world, seeking to uncover the secrets of their origins while leaving chaos in their wake.
Izaya thrives as a cunning merchant and information broker his sisters, adept in combat and stealth, act as his enforcers, ensuring no one crosses Izaya without consequences. Together, they’re a formidable trio, pulling the strings of the Wasteland’s power players for their own amusement. (unlike in durarara they are closer due to their shared trauma and being forced to rely on each other)

Vorona, Slon, Egor, Simon and Denis Background

Vorona grew up in a harsh, militarized vault (909) designed to create elite soldiers. Her father was the second hand to the overseer and often was gone leaving a young Vorona to her own devices in their library where she ended up learning as much as she possibly could about the world both pre and post war. After killing a vault dweller that broke in to her home intending to kill her due to her father carrying out an execution for the overseer, Vorona was found by her father who for the first time tried to comfort her. This lead to Vorona excelling in her combat training to chase for her fathers approval and for that same high she got from that comfort that night. Vorona eventually got bored of sparing and waiting for the gladiator events at the end of the years and one day decided during training not to hold back and ended up killing her mentor and a few of the guards. Her father being the second hand of the overseer knew he couldn’t ignore this but he also couldn’t bring himself to kill his own daughter despite his neglect for her. In a last ditch effort to be more of a father than he was ever he covered up his daughters crimes by freeing her from the vault and framing the murders as if raiders had broken in. Trained in combat from a young age, she became a feared mercenary in the Wasteland. Known for her lethal efficiency and cold demeanor, she takes on high-risk contracts, eliminating targets with precision. However, her upbringing left her emotionally detached, leading her to question her purpose beyond the kill. Despite this, she remains one of the most dangerous operators in the Wasteland, often working with or against the various factions depending on who offers the best reward.
Slon was a raider captured and experimented on by a pre-war vault’s (Vault 18) robotic division. Fitted with cybernetic enhancements that increased his strength and durability, he was forced to hunt down other escaped test subjects. After a vault uprising, Slon escaped into the Wasteland, now a formidable bounty hunter. His cybernetics make him nearly unstoppable, and his relentless pursuit of targets has made him both feared and respected. Vorona eventually meets up with Slon while on opposing jobs, sent to kill each other only for Slon to back down when he realized she was barely 17 at the time. Slon though he barely remembers his time from before the experiments, remembers he had a daughter and while he has became extremely jaded and cold to the world he can’t bring himself to harming or killing kids. Vorona not knowing how else to form a connection with one of the few people who could keep toe to toe with her in a fight offers him to be her bounty hunter, she sends him to find people or to do smaller hits that she doesn’t have time for. Although his humanity is eroding due to his mechanical parts, Slon holds onto a sense of loyalty to those who help him, especially to Vorona, who he sees as a kindred spirit and even as a daughter figure.
Egor is a formidable mercenary with a mysterious past, hailing from the post-apocalyptic ruins of the Commonwealth. Egor grew up in the shadows of Boston’s decaying skyscrapers. He quickly learned that survival meant being ruthless and efficient. Egor became known for his skill with energy weapons and his uncanny ability to track down targets in the wasteland. He eventually became one of the most feared bounty hunters in the Commonwealth, taking on jobs from various factions, including the Railroad and the Institute. However, Egor’s true motives remained hidden, as he was secretly searching for a lost piece of advanced pre-war technology that could change the fate of the wasteland. Though he projects a cold, calculating exterior, those who have encountered him in Diamond City or Goodneighbor whisper about the hints of a more complex character beneath the surface—someone driven not just by caps but by a personal mission that could shake the balance of power in the Commonwealth. Egor while also being known for his efficacy and ruthless nature he is also known for his strange appearance, his entire face is obscured with bandages and he towards over even the tallest of men at the impending height of 7’2. Despite all of this Egor has been seen helping out children and is even well liked among the younger crowd, he often is said to give caps and supplies to children in the area’s he travels. Egor meets up with Vorona and Slon when Vorona hires him for a job to assassinate a local raider leader. Egor ends up developing a soft spot for Vorona and takes on a mentor role and teachers her how to be more efficient with her kills.
Denis was born in vault 170, that specialized in advanced technology and robotics. After the vault’s systems failed, he ventured into the Wasteland, using his technical knowledge to survive. Denis is a skilled scavenger and tinkerer, often repairing and repurposing pre-war tech to barter or trade. He’s always on the lookout for rare technology, which he sees as the key to restoring civilization. His expertise in hacking and engineering makes him a valuable asset to any group, but his obsession with old-world tech sometimes puts him at odds with those who believe in a more brute-force approach to survival. Denis eventually meets up with Simon and the two end up bonding over their love and appreciation for pre-war tech and weaponry. Denis often helps Simon with his enhancements when they are breaking down or need tuning. This leads to Simon trusting and even forming a team with Denis to continue traveling together despite his solitary nature. The two even started having a budding romance despite neither of them realizing it. Simon and Denis end up hiring Vorona and her team to go find a specific part that Simon needs to fix some of his enhancements. Denis grows attached to the group and Simon despite originally wanting to stay a two man gig reluctantly agrees to join them as long as they agree to act accordingly and not to harm innocents any more.
Simon was once a distinguished Knight in the Brotherhood of Steel, known for his extraordinary strength and resilience in battle. During a critical mission to secure pre-war technology, Simon and his squad discovered an advanced research facility that housed experimental body augmentation technology. This technology, developed before the Great War, was designed to enhance human physical capabilities beyond natural limits. When the mission went awry, and the team was overwhelmed by hostile forces, Simon volunteered to undergo the augmentation procedure to save his comrades. The enhancements were successful, granting him incredible strength, enhanced reflexes, and heightened durability. However, the procedure also left him with visible scars and a more imposing physique, setting him apart from ordinary humans. After the mission, Simon’s loyalty to the Brotherhood never wavered, but he found himself increasingly alienated from his fellow soldiers due to his altered appearance and abilities. He became known as a formidable, almost mythic figure within the Brotherhood, but he struggled with the loss of his previous life and the realization that he could never return to being just another Knight. Simon now travels the Commonwealth, taking on dangerous missions that others would consider suicide. He often works alone, preferring solitude to the stares and whispers of those who fear or envy his augmented abilities. Despite this, he remains deeply committed to the Brotherhood’s cause, using his strength to protect the innocent and uphold the Brotherhood’s principles. Simon’s enhancements have made him a living weapon, but they also come with a price he must regularly maintain and calibrate his augmented body using scarce pre-war technology. This has led him to seek out old military installations, vaults, and hidden research labs in search of the parts and knowledge he needs to survive. Though he struggles with his humanity, Simon’s sense of duty remains intact, and he continues to fight for a better future in the Wasteland, even as he grapples with the consequences of his transformation. Despite his struggles to feel human and to feel his own now dulled emotions he has a demeanor of a kind giant and even is known for this fact. Some people think the “smiling knight” is just some legend the brotherhood started to try and gain favor among the common wealth but those who have met the man all know that this hulking man who often hides away from the masses is very much real.
As a team they are powerful, yet a complex unit with each member bringing some unique skills and problems to the table. Vorona’s leadership and strategic mind, combined with Slon’s raw power, Egor’s tactical thinking, Simon’s enhanced capabilities, and Denis’s technological expertise, make them a formidable force in the Wasteland. However, their differing backgrounds and personal struggles create tension and conflict, particularly when it comes to decisions that test their morals and loyalty to one another. Despite these challenges, the team shares a mutual respect born out of their collective experiences and the knowledge that they can achieve more together than they ever could alone. They operate in the shadows of the Commonwealth, taking on high-stakes missions that others wouldn’t dare attempt, all while trying to find their place in a world that sees them as outcasts.

Walker, Erika and Saburo Background

Erika grew up in the Commonwealth, in one of the few settlements where culture and entertainment were still cherished, despite the harsh realities of the post-apocalyptic world. From a young age, she became obsessed with pre-war comic books and holotapes, particularly those featuring heroes who fought against impossible odds. Her fascination with these stories led her to adopt a persona that combined her love for comics with the brutal survival skills needed in the Wasteland. Erika’s settlement was eventually destroyed by raiders, forcing her to fend for herself. Armed with a makeshift costume and a custom-built laser pistol inspired by her favorite comic book heroes, she began to roam the Wasteland, taking on the role of a vigilante. Erika uses her knowledge of comics and pop culture to outwit her enemies, often quoting her favorite lines or mimicking the actions of her fictional idols during battle. Though she comes off as eccentric and lighthearted, Erika hides a deep pain from the loss of her home and loved ones. She channels this grief into her hero persona, fighting to protect the innocent and bring some semblance of justice to the Wasteland. Erika is known for her quirky sense of humor, her quick thinking, and her unshakable belief in the ideals of heroism, even in a world that seems beyond saving.
Walker grew up in the bustling market town of Diamond City, known for its vibrant trade and diverse community. From a young age, Walker was fascinated by the myriad of goods and artifacts that flowed through the marketplace. His knack for finding valuable items among the rubble made him an adept scavenger, skilled at locating rare and useful objects in the ruins of the old world. Walker became a well-known figure in Diamond City, often helping merchants and traders by retrieving lost or hidden items that could fetch a high price. His expertise extends beyond mere scavenging; Walker has a keen eye for spotting hidden treasures, repairing and repurposing old-world tech, and negotiating with various factions. His charm and quick thinking make him an effective mediator, allowing him to navigate the treacherous politics of the Commonwealth’s marketplace with ease. Despite his success, Walker’s curiosity and adventurous spirit drive him to explore beyond Diamond City. He travels extensively through the Commonwealth, seeking out pre-war relics and forgotten technology. His journeys are motivated by a desire to uncover and preserve the secrets of the old world, believing that these artifacts hold valuable insights for rebuilding society. Walker’s ability to find and salvage items from seemingly worthless debris has earned him the respect of both merchants and adventurers. His skills are particularly useful in areas where resources are scarce or heavily guarded. While he is often seen as a friendly and resourceful figure, Walker is also cautious, understanding the dangers of the Wasteland and the importance of staying ahead of those who might want to take advantage of his finds. Walker is also known for his pyromaniac tendencies and hate for raiders due to how much they end up destroying.
Saburo is a brilliant, if slightly unhinged, mechanic and tinkerer who specializes in building and repairing vehicles in the Wasteland. Originally a member of a nomadic group that roamed the Commonwealth, Saburo grew up surrounded by old-world tech and machinery, developing a deep love for anything with wheels or an engine. His group was known for modifying and racing old vehicles, but a tragic accident involving a raider ambush left Saburo as the sole survivor. Now, Saburo travels the Wasteland in a heavily modified car that he built from the wreckage of his past life. He’s a master of improvisation, able to turn scrap into working machinery, and is always on the lookout for rare parts to enhance his beloved vehicle. Saburo’s eccentric personality and love for high-speed chases have earned him a reputation as a daredevil, but his mechanical genius makes him invaluable to those who need a reliable ride or a quick getaway. Saburo’s car is his lifeline, and he’s fiercely protective of it, often referring to it as if it were a living being. His impulsive nature and tendency to take unnecessary risks can sometimes put him at odds with more cautious companions, but his loyalty and resourcefulness make him a friend worth having in the chaotic world of the Wasteland.

Akane Awakusu, Mizuki Akabayashi Background

Akane Awakusu is a young girl from a wealthy and influential family in the Commonwealth, living in a well-fortified estate on the outskirts of Diamond City. Her family is known for their vast collection of pre-war art and antiques, which they have preserved and displayed within their estate. Growing up in this environment, Akane developed a deep passion for art and culture, spending her time studying old-world paintings, sculptures, and literature.
Despite the relative safety and luxury of her upbringing, Akane was drawn to the world outside the estate, fascinated by the stories and experiences of those living in the Wasteland. Her curiosity about the world beyond her family’s walls was met with a mixture of concern and indulgence from her parents, who were eager to protect her from the dangers of the Commonwealth.
Mizuki Akabayashi was once a skilled operative working for a covert organization tasked with monitoring and protecting valuable assets. After a series of intense missions, Mizuki was assigned to oversee the security of Akane’s family estate due to a growing threat from various factions seeking to exploit the family’s collection.
Mizuki’s role initially focused on protecting the estate from potential threats and ensuring that the family’s assets remained secure. During this time, Mizuki developed a close bond with Akane, who was intrigued by Mizuki’s skills and stories from the Wasteland. Mizuki took on a fatherly role, mentoring Akane in practical skills, survival tactics, and the harsh realities of the outside world. Mizuki’s guidance helped Akane understand the complexities of life beyond the estate’s walls.
Mizuki’s role as Akane’s protector gradually evolved into a more personal and paternal relationship. As Akane’s interest in the world outside grew, she began to accompany Mizuki on trips beyond the estate, learning about the Wasteland firsthand. Mizuki became not only a guardian but also a mentor, guiding Akane through the dangers of the outside world and teaching her valuable survival skills.
Akane’s fascination with art and culture provided Mizuki with a new perspective on the Wasteland’s potential for renewal and restoration. In turn, Mizuki’s mentorship and protection allowed Akane to explore her interests while remaining safe. Mizuki’s presence also gave Akane a sense of stability and security that she would not have otherwise experienced.
Potential plot: As Akane grows older, her desire to contribute to the Wasteland’s recovery and preservation of culture has only intensified. Mizuki continues to act as her protector and mentor, supporting her ambitions while ensuring her safety. The bond between them has strengthened, with Akane seeing Mizuki as a father figure and Mizuki viewing Akane as a surrogate daughter.
Their relationship is a blend of mentor-mentee dynamics and familial affection, with Mizuki’s guidance helping Akane navigate the challenges of the Wasteland while pursuing her artistic passions. Together, they work to bridge the gap between the pre-war past and the post-apocalyptic present, striving to make a positive impact on the world around them.

Saki’s life took a dramatic turn when she was hired by a mysterious client to locate a lost shipment of high-value technology. Saki’s investigation led her to cross paths with Izaya, and she quickly realized that her client’s interests were far more complex and potentially dangerous than initially anticipated.
Izaya, intrigued by Saki’s skills and resourcefulness, offered her a deal—she would help him find and secure a series of valuable items in exchange for substantial compensation and access to exclusive information.
