Joey's P.O.V:It was a rainy night and Joey would usually be at some bar trying to pick up a girl. He's been feeling off ever since he stepped into the wrong bar one night. He can remember it well even though it was a couple of months ago.He was slightly tipsy, he will admit that. He just wanted to play around that night but he got a little more than that. To cut the story short, he went into a gay bar. He had nothing against gay people. I mean who was he to judge the sexual preferences of men who like men. If you asked anyone who knew him they would call him a playboy but he liked to call himself a handsome bachelor that's just so happens to always come back home still a handsome bachelor, But that night it all changed. He can remember dancing, grinding, and kissing someone or some man... It was mindblowing to say the least. It was one of the few times of his life where he left a bar without fucking anyone (not counting the mouthfucking he did with that dude). He couldn't even sleep without thinking about it. It was so freaky... I mean it's 21 century and he's not homophobic or anything. He just sighed and asked for another beer. If he couldn't make himself stop thinking about it then he might as well be drunk and think about it. As he sipped on his drink he watched the couples dance. He watched the way the women's breasts bounce up and down. He almost drooled over the men's assed look. He glanced down at his drink and sighed. He put it down and payed for his drink and left the bar. He wasn't ready to go back the apartment but he wasn't in the mood to go back any of the bars that he would usually go too. Somehow, he made it back to that faithful bar. This particular night was more of a fun night. There was a drag show happening. He payed for some exotic blue drink that was on sale for the night. As he looked for a seat the Queens starts to come out and perform. What he wasn't expecting was to see Chandler on stage performing alongside his dad. A few months ago the two made up and stuff, It wasn't any of Joey's business whether or not Chandler made up with his dad. He know that the two would talk on the phone at least once a month. Chandler was lip syncing and dancing to the song This is your night. Chandler in a strapless shiny red dress it was intoxicating to say the least. The way his glossy red lip stick shined underneath the lights. The way his hip swayed back and forth. Joey was hooked... He had to bite his hand to keep him from yelling Chandler's name at the end of his performance. After the two Queens kiss the crowd goodbye, Joey downed his drink and quickly left. When he made it home and into his rooms, he closed and locked his door.He needed to breath because if didn't stop hyperventilating he might pass out. He just couldn't believe his best friend, Chandler, was a drag queen like his father... After all the internalized stuff that Chandler had against gay people... especially drag queens... It just shocked him.... The thing is, he can't tell what shocked him more. The fact Chandler was a drag queen or that he found him hot...
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Joey POV:He's finally calmed down after almost having like 2 panic attacks in the shower. He was just sitting in his chair watching tv to try and distract himself. Joey suddenly hears Chandler unlocking the door. Chandler walking in with a black garment bag. "What's that? Did you spill something on your suit or something?" Joey asked even though he had an idea of what's in the bag. Joes sees Chandler tense up a little and shakes his hand a little, a nervous habit Joey picked up on. "Uh, yeah! I had some coffee and spilled it all over my jacket. I'm gonna put this in my closet now, I'll be right back."Chandler tells Joey as he walks into his room and shuts the door. Joey lets out a deep breath and crosses his legs. He can still see the glitter on Chandler's face and the slight tint of the red lip stick that was on his face a few minutes ago. Damn... he was fucked. He was always clingy, hanging around Chandler 24/7 and if he wasn't such a womanizer they could have been mistaken for couple every once in a while... Maybe he just liked the way Chandler looked in drag, Yeah... he could get behind that... Theres no way he likes him out of it. He just needs to get this out of his system. All this bi-curiousness messing his judgment up. He's decided on it. Next week when he's out of state to do an audition for a really good role he'll play around a bit, nothing too serious of course. Chandler walking out of the shower, his hair messy and still slightly wet. He was so focused in his thoughts he didn't even notice Chandler entering the bathroom but he sure is now... That rules out him just being attracted to Chandler just because he was dressed as a woman.Chandler sits down at the counter and sighs. "Rough day?" Joeys asks as he spins his chair around to face Chandler. "Sorta... I hung out with my dad since he was in town. It was fun... I'm really tired though. Dad wanted to go to every other damn department store and made me hold his stuff... Oh! I did get you something." He walked into his room and came back with a red sweater, throwing it at Joey. "I know it's not really the weather for this but there was a buy one get one free sale at Macy's." Chandler groans as he bends down to get a drink, his back hurting. Joey similes and takes Chandlers seat at the counter. "Thanks man! I'll definitely wear it next time it's freezing out. Anyways, I have such good news! I got a role in a new movie! It's called *insert some 2002 movie* and i'm a side character. I mean it's better than being a background character i guess... I'm gonna get paid pretty good for it though! I'll have to travel to Connecticut for it though. I wanted to tell you first since I'm your roommate and all."Joey rambled as he watched Chandler drink his cup of water. "Good job dude! Im happy for you! Hopefully this will get you more good paying roles. You've been working your butt off this past month, I haven't seen you with as many girls than I usually would. They way I have to listen to Phoebe talke about how your 'Aura' has changed is making me Sightly more annoyed than usual... Anyways, we all should head to Monica's this morning to celebrate." Chandler said as he drowned the rest of his water. Joey yawned and groans dramatically like always. "Welp, it's like 2 o'clock and I want to wake up before I miss the saturday cartoons" Chandler sighs and pats Joey on the shoulder "Bud... the cartoons aren't going anywhere but don't you dare wake me up like last Saturday. Tv was so fricking loud I can bet you the whole entire apartment complex could hear it." Joey whined "Dudeeee, I said sorry like 20 million timesss! Good night though, I guess you have to sleep late since you're so old..." Joey joked around and walked to his room, listening to Chandler grumble about how he's not that old.Joey successfully avoided acting weird around Chandler. He was a natural born actor and should be able to bring himself to act like he didn't see Chandler at a drag show and perform, act like he wasn't totally into chandler out and in drag, and that he was bi-curious at all. Theres no evidence and no one knows about it other than that random dude he kiss that one night... Joey, The Ladies Man, At least for this role, he has a lot of experience...
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Joey's P.O.V:The sun peeked through his bedroom window. He finally got a good nights rest since 3 months ago. Sitting up in his bed, Joey rubs his eyes and sighs. He wasn't ready to face everyone. He checked the time and groaned. He pulled out some random dark blue t-shirt and put on some jeans . As he walks out of his bedroom, he sees Chandler watching Tv."Oh! Uhh, give me like 5 minutes and we can go steal breakfast from Monica's." Joey says quickly he head sides the restroom. He can't believe what he saw last night and if it wasn't for the fact that Joey was basically sober last night, he definitely would've thought that it was all a dream or he was just severely drunk. As Joey washes his face, he keeps thinking about how hot Chandler looked that night. He flushes and try's to get that thought out of his head or at the least cool his face down. He takes a deep breath and leaves the restroom. Joey grabs his leather jacket and walks into the living room."Finally, what the heck were you doing in there? You said to give you five minutes and then you and take a basically a hour! I'm so hungry dude..." Chandler groans as he unlocks the front door and holds it open for Joey. Joey grins and waits for Chandler to finish locking the door."Come on! You know that I gotta look good for the ladies. You should go out with someone Chan, I know it was rough when you and Monica broke up 7 months ago… But you gotta put yourself out there!" Joey says to Chandler sincerely while waiting for someone to open them. Joey hated seeing his friend lonely. He may have a small crush on him but that won't stop him from encouraging his best friend to start dating again.”Joey you don't get it, I've accepted the fact that I'm most likely gonna be single for the rest of my life. I mean it's not the worst thing, I'll at least always have you to hang out with... Who knows, maybe one day you might actually start paying rent!" Chandler chuckles out as Phoebe opens the door and he heads to the fridge to help himself to a cup of orange juice. "Come on Chan, you honestly can't believe that right? Let's talk about this later at the coffee shop. Anyways... I have great news everyone!" Joey exclaims as he takes a seat at the dinner table. Phoebe gasps and also sits down at the table while Chandler leans against the counter, smiling as he drinks his juice. "I got a side character role in the new movie *insert movie from 2002* that's filming in Connecticut!"Joey says while grinning ear to ear. Monica and Phoebe congratulate him as Chandler opens the door for Ross and Rachel. Everyone eventually go their separate way. Joey and Chandler go back to their apartment since they don't have any thing to do. "Ughhh...what do you wan to do today? Im not really in the mood to rehearse my lines right now..." Joey groaned out, dropping his body in his recliner. Chandler shrugged and turned the Tv on. He sighed as he sat back in his chair, flicking through the channels. "Oh, I just remembered I was supposed to talk to you about getting back into dating. Look, I don't like that you think that lowly of yourself... Your handsome and you can get any girl you want if you just put your mind to it! I know you may not think this but i do and once again, I hate seeing you look so lonely..." Joey said calmly, he was trying his best to try and convince Chandler to open his head back up to dating. Chandler sigh and turns to face Joey. "I- thanks for the effort but im just not made for dating... I've even asked my Dad about it." Joey looks back at him as he lays his face against his right hand. "And I can bet you he said the exact same thing I did, didn't he?" Chandler grins and nods his head slightly. "See! Even your dad agrees with me. Okay, how about we go to the club tonight? Theres a new club I've been meaning to go that open a few blocks away from us." Joey says excitedly while Chandler try's to protest. "Joe... Ugh, you know I don't go to clubs often... this is gonna be so awkward... I don't even have anything to wear!!" Chandler groans as Joey drags them both into Chandlers room. Chandler sits down on his bed while Joey looks for something for Chandler to wear out. He throws a black and white striped button up, a black T-shirt, and a some Dark blue Jeans. "Put this on. Fix your hair too while you're at it. I'm gonna just fix my hair up and then we can go." Joey tells Chandler with a smirk on his face. Joey heads to his room and brushes his hair before siting down in the living room waiting for Chandler. He was hoping that going to the club might help Chandler at least open his mind up to doing one night stands at the least and hopefully help Joey get rid of these weird feelings for Chandler...He needed to get those thoughts out of his head fast. Joey hears a door open and Chandler walks out of his room with his hands in his pockets. Joey once again had to bite his hand to keep from saying or doing something he would regret... "How does it look? I haven't worn this button up since forever..." Chandler says slightly nervously. Joey gulps and grins. "Damnn! You really good dude! The girls will be Allll over this! Do you wanna eat really quickly before we go, we can get a sub on the way to the club?" Joey asks as he unlocks the front door and walks out, Chandler following after and locking the door behind him. The two walk down their apartment stairs in a comfortable silence. Joey was trying to restrain himself from looking back and staring at Chandler. If he wasn't sure he was attracted to Chandler before he definitely sure now. They exit the building and they head to *Insert Local Sandwich Store* and eat their sandwiches on the way. Joey was barely able pay attention to where the club was, trying not to let the condiments drip on his shirt as they walk. "So, Joey are you ready for your new gig? I'm really surprised you got such a big role... I mean, Side characters are a big step for you heh." Chandler asks, crumbling up his sandwich paper. Joey nods and finishes his food.”Yeah, I mean it's not well known and it might not even be really good... But it's gonna be paying me pretty good money. Im not gonna give any spoilers because I want all of you to watch it with me when we finish production. Oh, We're hereee! You better be ready to dance!" Joey exclaims and literally drag Chandler inside.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Joeys P.O.V:The two men enter the club, Joey dragging Chandler by this arm. Joey was surprised by all the people dancing, he saw many people dancing together. They both soon found out that this wasn't just a normal club... Joey once again endend up in a gay club or at least really open to them. "Uh, Im so so sorry chandler... I didn't know that this was a gay club, I swear! We can leave if you want..." Joey said as he internally sighed. "Uh... it's fine... I mean, Im sure it not an all gay club. You gotta stay near me though, This isn't really my scene. "Chandler said in between his beer, Joey hadn't even noticed that Chandler ordered drinks for them both. He looked down at his purple and somehow shiny drink. "What even is this...this looks like something straight out of a cartoon... Doesn't taste to bad though."Joey mumbled out before drowning his drink, Chandler following after him. His face scrunching up from the taste."Come on Chan, let's dance! I haven't seen you use these moves of yours in a while!" Joey pulled Chandler to the dance floor. Joey starts to rock his body back in forth as Chandler tries to copy his moves. Joey grins and drunkly dances against him. Chandler flushes but doesn't push him away and instead deciding to grin and grind back. They both laugh as the light flash and spin around. Joey starts to roll his body while pumping his fists in the air as Chandler slides his hands on Joey's hips with a drunken smirk. As the night goes on, the two start to dance more seductively. Each-other's hands at places where they shouldn't be... If anyone was paying any attention to them, they could easily feel the tension between the two... Joey knew that this was particularly risky considering his feelings about Chandler but at this time all he could do was feed into his wants. It felt so good... it wasn't at the other times he's danced with Women. It was something completely new and it was addictive. Joey faces Chandler and continues to grind against him, wrapping his arms around Chandlers neck. "You know this isn't what I had in mind when I told you to stick close to me earlier... I don't mind it though." Chandler whisperyelled in Joey's ear. "Me neither, I mean we can still be close-" Joey voice cuts off as Chandler turns him around so Joeys back is flesh against Chandlers chest. "As I was saying, we can still be friends... it's just dancing right..?" Chandler nods, his breath feeling hot against Joeys neck. "Yeah, we're two best friends just dancing and nothing more. Wait, my phone is ringing." Chandler says as he pulls out his phone.Joey never understood why Chandler would buy something that’s literally $668 dollars if none of his friends had one... Joey will stick with the landline he has in the apartment. "Joey, Monica wants us to head over to her apartment to celebrate you landing the role. I think she's made dinner for all of us." Chandler yells as he walks out the door. Joey nods and runs up to him. The two walk out the club and walk back home. "I still don't get the purpose of getting a phone when none of your friends have one..." Joey says as he takes his jacket off, feeling hot. "Well first of all, I need it for work. Also my mom likes to call me... and what if you or someone else wants me come back home or pick them up?" He said while calling for a taxi. The taxi pulls in and the two get inside. Joey tells him where they're going and buckles his seatbelt. "I guess. I still thinks its worthless..." Joey states while crossing his arms and rolling his eyes. Chandler looks at him and they both chuckle.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Joeys POV:The cab drops them off and chandler fishes out some change for the driver. They waste no time running to Monica's apartment and walk in with Ross."Finally you guys made it and I don't even know why you're late Ross when I literally called you first..."Monica exclaims as she sets the food on the table."Sorry Mon, me and Chan were at this new club. It was... questionable but we had fun. I'm still a little tipsy but I honestly think Chandlers out of it. He drowned an entire glass of beer in like 2 minutes."Joey says as he puts food on the plate. Chandler sits next to him and lay his head down, facing Joey."I'm honestly not that drunk. I'm just a little tipsy like you but yeah, Joey literally dragged me to the club. Picked my shirt and everything out..."He muttered as he messed with the assortment of fruits on the table. Joey grinned as he ate his mashed potatoes."Anyways, Joey congratulations on your new role! We are all happy for you since it’s actually a good role for once.”Monica started as she lounged on the couch while Phoebe messes with her hair muttering something.“Yeah, it’s not like it’s that impressive but you know, I’m a humble man.”Joey says as he pushes a plate of food towards Chandler. Chandler sits up and takes bite of the food, sighing as the taste of actual warm food hits his mouth. Joey smiles and continues to talk about the movie role.He was trying to ignore what happened at the bar. He didn’t want to remember, but… He couldn’t forget how Chandler danced and how hypnotic he was. He could feel the sweat dripping down his neck with every breath. He wanted to go home. He wanted back his old mind. When did he ever start getting this worked up over someone. He finished eating and excused himself from the conversation. He hurried into his room and started to yank his jacket off, turning on his fan. He looked at himself in the reflection of his window.“Joseph… What did you get yourself into? You’re sitting here stressed about a boy?”He asked himself. He knows that it’s not because he likes a boy, it was Never that. He’s never had anything against gay people. It’s just the fact that it’s Chandler.“Ughh!! GET AHOLD OF YOURSELF JOEY! You are a handsome man and you have always had a magical touch when it comes to getting dates.”He yell at himself as he gets up to take a shower. He sits down as water hits his body. When it’s quiet and he knows that he’s alone, he likes to take long shower and sulk. He knows that’s weird and gothic but, it helps him. When the water running down his face you can’t tell if it’s a tear or not. When the steam fogs up the mirror he can’t tell if his eyes are red. When it water hits the tub, no one can hear his sobs and sniffles. He doesn’t do this often but tonight is different. He gets up and rinses his body before he gets up and puts his clothes on. He cleans his face and walks into his bedroom. He sighs and gets dressed so he can get comfortable in bed. He said he wouldn’t fall asleep but by the time Chandler walks into the apartment, Joey is long gone in dreamland.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Joeys POV:The next day Joey decided to go look over his script before he has to head to this movie role. He knows that Connecticut isn't a big drive away but he wanted to try and save all the money that he could for this trip. Before all of these new feelings came about, He was just going to ask Chandler but after that shower last night... He didn't now if he could even handle a measly one hour car ride with Chandler at the moment. Joey put his script down and walked into the kitchen, He saw Chandler actually cooking something, he'd never actually seen chandler willing cooking food before. Joey sat down in a chair next to the counter and laid his head down. "Chandler when did start cooking? You like literally never cook food. I mean I'm not gonna complain about free food but you know..." Joey said Chandler sat a plate of slightly burnt pancakes in front of him. "Well I felt like cooking food. Everyone is out doing something so I just decided to cook something for once. I finally put to work some of the recipes my dad sent me." Chandler said as he fixed his own plate. "That's nice to hear, I know that you two have been talking and I think it's really been improving your outlook on things. Like you've been looking so much more... happy. I mean you don't look depressed or anything but there's definitely an improvement in your attitude." Joey said in the middle of eating, syrup dripping from his mouth. Joey saw Chandler turn his back to him and continued to eat, trying tostifle a laugh. Joey grumbled as he stuffed the rest of the food in his mouth. He slid the plate into the sink and leaned back onto the counter. "So you know how I'm heading down to Connecticut for my role and I just wanted to know if you wanted to come with me to down there? The director said I could bring someone and that he would pay for my hotel room. Apparently this director is some hotshot and is rich or something." Joey explained while moving his hands around in no particular fashion."Ehh... I don't know... Let me look at my schedule, you know my job doesn't let me get behind" Chandler sighs as Joey's eyes watered up. He began to whine and plead with Chandler, putting his acting skills to work. "Come onnn Chand... You know how much this role means to me. I cant just be spending money left and right on a taxi. You should just come with me. Plus, you need a break from work anyway. ""OKAY OKAY! I'll go with you.. I'll just try and explain why I'm gonna be out of work for like two and a half weeks. Seee I told you that getting that "useless and expensive" laptop was worth it. You're always talking about me buying things I don't need. " Chandler said confidently as he walked to get his phone to call his boss. Joey grinned, happy that all his whining worked. He knew that just a few minutes ago that he was so unsure about asking Chandler to go with him but here he goes and out right asks him unconsciously. Joey got up and went to get his coat. He grabbed it and head outside to go get coffee with Phoebe like he said he would. He desperately needed someone to help him with these feelings and she was the only one he trusted (oddly enough). She also was the only one free.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Joey's POV:Joey walked into the shop and plopped down on the couch right next to Phoebe. She smiled and turned to him, putting down the muffin she was eating. "So... what did you want to talk about with me? I've been thinking about it all day." She says as Joey messes with his hands, starting to regret choosing her to tell this to. "So you know how Chandler and I went out last night? Well I thought we should go to a club since you know... Chandler hasn't really been dating anyone and I thought it would be a good idea." Joey explained as he ran his hands through his hair."Okay...? I'm not really getting the point of this conversation right now... Did he get played or something?" Phoebe says as she begins to theorize while Joey sighs and crosses his arms."Let me at least finish explaining first Phoebe.. Anyways, so I may have accidentally took him to a Gay Club..." Phoebe gasped and was about to interrupt him but he shut it down."Don't ask me how because I couldn't even tell you that. WE decided to stay anyway and we may have started to dance together..." Joey groaned as he covered his face. "Like grinding dancing because if it was just... you know, regular dancin-" "Yes. We were grinding." Joey sighed as Phoebe laughed at him. "Come on Joey... It's not like you like him or anything, right?" "..." "JOSEPH. You're kidding me right?" "No. I came here for advice, not to be laughed at." Joey said as his face turned red. "Oh, you know I'm not making fun of you. I mean you two were always close so I should've guessed this. I mean you always were talking about liking women so I never guessed this. " Phoebe said as you she rubbed Joey's shoulder."Yeah... I mean this is first time I've thought about men like this... The think I'm not ready for is the fact that I have to go on a trip with him since he gonna be driving around in his new car. Have you seen it? It's real nice...""Don't you have other things to worry about other than sharing a hotel room down there? You two will have different beds anyway. Remember when we went to London? It will be just like that except in Connecticut.""I guess... I'll call you if I need to so expect a call from me tomorrow when We get there." Joey says as he stood up to leave. "Okay, I will keep an ear out for it. Anyways, I got to get to get home. I have a date." Phoebe and Joey hug and leave the shop, Joey heading to the Park.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Joey's POV:Joey comes home to see Ross moping around while Chandler pats his back. Joey could assume that Rachel asked for another "break." Ross was... something. Joey felt bad for him but he knew that Ross could be a little paranoid when it comes to Rachel. He couldn't blame him considering that he's been divorced and that entire London thing..."Hey Ross... What's wrong? Are you and Rach on another break?" Joey asks as he slid into his chair, Ross looking like an abandoned wet dog. "Yeah... I really thought we were doing good... We had went on a date not to long ago and it went great..." Ross said as he leaned against the counter. "Did you to get into an argument? I don't believe she would ask for a break without some actual reason." Chandler asked as he typed on his laptop. "Yeah! Maybe you should get her something like flowers and talk it out with her. You know women love those kind of things." Joey said as Ross began to pace around the room again.Ross was even more distressed than he was before Joey started to give him advice. Chandler groaned and put his laptop down right before Ross tripped over his feet and fell on floor. "Look Ross... I think you should go to a therapist or psychiatrist, there's like something actually wrong with you. I think you fall in love to quickly and you are like obsessive. You might actually be crazy Ross." Chandler says as he takes his glasses off.Ross looks at Chandler crazy and takes a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves before heading to his apartment. Joey and Chandler look at each other as Ross walks out and bursted out laughing the minute the door closed. They both knew that Ross wasn't the most stable out of all of the group. "Chandler aren't you worried you might've went too far? I mean it was funny but you know Ross is a little sensitive when it comes this..." Joey said as he got up to get a soda and to stretch his legs. "Maybe, but I think that he'll understand what I meant. I think that he might actually need to visit a therapist. He's not the most mentally okay person. Remember when he exploded over a sandwich he made?" Chandler got up and stretched. "Anyways, do you wanna head over to Monica's to eat? I have to pack later for tomorrow." "What’s tomorrow?" Joey says as they walk over to the girl's apartment when Chandler gives him a weird stare. "I think you forgot something Joey." "Ohhh, I forgot to clock the door again." Joey says as he locked the bottom lock. "Sure, Joey." Chandler says as he rubs his temples, watching Joey knock on the door.
