As soon as Javier opened the heavy black door and entered the brightly lit office he was met with David and Álvaro who were making out on the black leather couch. That was the morning usual. Álvaro was trying to get on top of David at that point, his black suit thrown to the side, barely hanging off the armrests and a few buttons of his thin white shirt away from their counterparts on the opposite side of the cloth. All in front of the large window where the light was coming from, illuminating them in the light from the outside world, the happier part of the world. All the light Javier so bitterly despised to see this early in the morning, or any part of the day in general. It annoyed him even more that no matter how spacious the office was the light illuminated everything. From the couch Alvaro and David were on just now to the table in front of that couch, the other, smaller black leather couch, the large bookshelf to the left and the locker and drawers there. And even worse, his own table and the two chairs in front of it. Well, at least the cabinet behind his desk was in the shadow. He groaned and the two broke apart from eachother in an instant. Their faces were flushed, Álvaro turned his head, like a deer caught in headlights, his long dark eyelashes fluttering a few times as Javier stared at him. David hid his face behind Alvaros, but Javier could see his ear gain in color as he whispered something to Alvaro. He turned to David and quickly buttoned his shirt as he cleared his throat. David did the same, moving from under Alvaro to beside him. He nervously looked at Javier and fixed his collar as he wished him a good morning."Good morning, Javi." They both said lowly, rather embarrassed. Alvaro turned around and ironed his shirt with his hands, just to not look at messy as he looked just a second ago. It didn't really help, David moved away just a bit and Javier looked at the both of them and then at the window. David nodded immediately and pulled the curtains so the room was less illuminated. Javier was somewhat thankful that he hadn't walked it later, they probably would've been banging on that exact cursed couch. He prayed to whatever was out there that they didn't do fuck on that couch, ever. David awkwardly looked at Javier and then at Alvaro, who was looking down, his face still red. Javier cleared his throat and looked his eyes on some papers at his desk. He extended his hand towards the papers and his lips slightly parted as he touched them with his fingertips. The paper was somewhat warm, must've been brought earlier today, or maybe it was the sun that made it warm. Either way, he was about to find out. He looked at the both Alvaro and David as he went through some of the papers, picking a couple out and leaving the rest on the desk."You know," He started, shuffling the papers in an order he wanted them to be in. He looked at the papers and then at the both of them, he sighed. "If you plan on keeping this a secret from the boss, you'll have to calm yourselves a little bit." He said at last, breathing out as if it was exhausting to say the same thing everyday. "One day he might walk in instead of me. Hell, he might know already." He said, mumbling the words toward the end. David and Alvaro looked at eachother and then at Javier who was too busy reading something, he lifted up his glasses and licked his lip nervously as he read through the paper."Do you think he knows?" David asked Javier, he turned to David immediately and shrugged. Alvaro looked up, a little concerned as he hid his face with his hands. Javier sighed."How would I know?" He asked in a questioning tone even though the answer was clear. He probably did. After all, how could someone not notice the bond between the two. Javier looked at the papers once again and then approached the two. He extended the papers to David who gently took them into his own hands. Javier took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes."What do you think?" He asked, his tone a little bit worried. David hummed and Alvaro leaned in a little closer to read the contents of the paper. His eyes flew across the paper and he looked up at Javier and gulped nervously."New mafia?" He asked as he fixed his posture. Javier nodded and headed towards his desk. He took off his dark blue suit jacket that matched the color of the dress pants he was wearing and unbuttoned the top button of his white shirt and his pearl necklace dangled to the side a little bit. Moving his hand to the top of the chair was his next move, he gently grabbed it and then pressed his fingers into the cushion. He spun it and sat on it, holding one leg over the other and placing his jaw into his hand, he gulped, nobody heard him. While he has been in this business for a while he was a little bit surprised to hear about a new mafia. But it's Madrid after all, nothing new so he probably worried over nothing. He fixed his posture and turned his chair appropriately. He took a few more papers into his hands and gently swayed them left and right, as if he was cooling himself with the small wind they created."Might be a solo misson for one of us." He looked at both Alvaro and David who looked at each other. He sighed. It wasn't the first time a new mafia entered the area around Madrid. And it certainly wasn't the first time someone was sent on a solo mission, nor will it be the last. Not that they knew it was going to be solo mission, but Javier had experience and knew in what situation people were getting sent out as spies. To the two rookies on the couch it was still pretty confusing, they had just entered the mafia business. They were trained before that, of course, but still. David lowered the paper on the glass table in front of him and looked up at Javier."Need us to check some more papers for you?" They asked, slightly nervous, as if they were scared but the curiosity was eating them from the inside out. Javier admired that, they knew how you needed to act once you walk through the doors of the darker side of Madrid. He handed them the papers and sat down on his chair, gazing towards the large dark wooden bookshelf behind yet another, smaller leather couch. He spun his chair left and right as he stared into seemingly nothing. He gulped and gazed towards the two men on the couch, they were reading the papers, whispering between eachother in concern as they discussed the contents of them. Javier eyes snapped away from them and landed on the desk in front of him. He was just waiting for it, he glanced at the black telephone that was already smiling upside down for him. He watched it through his eyelashes and gulped. For a second it moved and he heard a ring come through. His reflexes worked fast as he grabbed the phone not even a second later. He could feel adrenaline rush through his vains just at the thought of some action. This business has been way too silent and passive these past few months, he needed the thrill, the challenge, the hit and run he so desperately chased when he started working like this."Javier." He heard, in a deep voice. It was the boss, Melzet, the chairman of this whole operation and company. He sighed and continued.
"I suppose you saw the papers I left in the office for you." His sharp voice echoed through Javier's head as his heart pounded. He could only bite his lip in excitement as his thoughts began racing with various scenes that looked like they were out of movies. He shook his head, telling himself to think more realistically."Yes, sir. What can I do for you?" Javier spoke out, his voice calm and collected. He already knew the answer to his own question. He silently gulped as he awaited an answer. He heard whispers through the phone. Must've been the helpers."I want you to come to my office for a small chat." Melzet spoke out and Javier replied with a short "Yes." before he let the black telphone fall back down into it's frowning position. He glanced at David and Alvaro who were looking at him for some time now. He smiled, somewhat happy that the two of them didn't get sent on this. It would've been a disaster if they did."He wants to have a chat." Javier said as he stood up from his chair, the two men nodded. Not having much to say they turned their gazes back to the papers, aka their new interests for the day, whatever can keep those manchildren useful and occupied for the day. He glanced towards the two one last time as he grabbed the handle."Try not to fuck while I'm gone." He said, teasing just for good measure and drawing a small smirk out of Alvaro and a thick blush out of David. Funny how words impacted them both so differently and so strongly, probably why they aren't getting sent to any mission yet. Javi closed the door behind himself and shoved his hands into his dark blue dress pants. He stretched his long legs as he made his way through the hallway. It was only the sixth floor, the boss was on the eighth floor, not the last one, the highest one was the 10th floor, but considering how tall the roofs of the offices here are from the outside it, to the normal person it must've looked like 16 floors. People greeted him as he made his way to the elevator. They wished him a good morning, complimented him, asked him how he was, just overall trying to get on his good side. Not that he had anyone in this company on his bad side, no, he could work with anyone, as long as they respect him. And everyone did, he was Melzet's favourite after all. He could hear whispers across the hall as he reached the elevator. He yawned and got in, not bothering to look behind him, not that he didn't care if anyone wanted to take the elevator as well, people were just too scared to ask him if they can take the elevator alongside him. He found it stupid, but also somewhat entertaining that people found him so intimidating. It only added to his ego, which was already inflated enough as it is. The door closed behind him and he leaned against a wall as he clicked the buttons and let the machine do it's magic. The machine quickly started ascending up and he sighed. He glanced at the mirror and fixed his collar. He then took a look up at the camera, the cameras were more for Melzet's entertainment than anything. He sighed as he glanced at the expensive silver clock on his right hand, it was a gift from Melzet himself, a sign of respect and trust. Melzet saw Javier almost like a son, he treated him like his own kid. To be fair he treated all younger men like a strict father would, even Javier, who was clearly the favorite among everyone. The door opened and an assistant popped up of nowhere and escorted Javier across the hall."Morning." The man said and Javier wished him a good morning with a smile. It was one of Melzet's main assistants. He always hung around close him and was always there to assist Javier to Melzet's office. The man was about a head taller than Javier, strong facial muscles, a black beard, muscular arms and legs, wearing the usual uniform of an assistant, a black suit and black jeans, paired with some slick black shoes. He had some playfulness to his strict looking character, some ear piercings, pretty brown eyes, his voice that was deep, but not deep enough to fit his face."Did you hear about the new mafia?" Javier asked, walking alongside the man and looking up at him. The man nodded, not even turning to look at Javier. It made him feel just a little bit too respected, maybe he frightened people so much they didn't want to turn while talking to him. But it was probably just because of professionalism. The two walked troough the illuminated hall, the reflection of Melzet's outer character. When they finally reached the black door that the assistant swung open and offered Javier to go through they were met with Melzet's other character, the dark and cold room that reflected his mind and emotions. Javier looked inside, seeing Melzet checking out the paintings on the wall behind his chair and desk. He held.his head high, his hands behind his back as he admired the specific painting. The painting that was framed out of pure gold, forming various twists and turns and shining mysteriously even though the room was dark. The painting that had previous mafia members on it, the "Golden Five" as everyone would say. He sighed as he extended his fingers and touched the faces of the men in front of his eyes, they felt cold, just like they were. Javier had no idea a painting could hold such a strong impact on someone, but there it was, the proof that it most certainly can. Right underneath the painting was a candle, same shiny gold held it in place. The candle that was lit every day to honor the Golden Five. The candle that had burned so many times, the candle that was replaced so many times. The candle itself was the reflection of the Golden Five and everyone that worked in this business, or at least for him specifically. Internally burning inside Melzet's mind, being replaced over and over every time it burned out, but never forgotten, always having the same purpose..."Javier," he started, turning his head just a little bit to the left. Javier looked at Melzet, awaiting his next move. The assistant walked in, the door closed behind him. Javier kept his eyes on Melzet's back, not caring to look anywhere else. The assistant walked to join the other assistants that were behind Javier's right side."Have a seat." Melzet said, dropping his hand from touching the painting to having it behind his back once again. Javier nodded and he sat down at the chair in front of Melzet's desk. Melzet sighed and turned around, rubbing his eyes before putting his glasses on. He grabbed the chair, leaned it and sat down. He strictly looked at Javier through his glasses and sighed. He put his hands together and fixed his posture."Listen, son, I trust you the most. You've been in this business for some time now, and I'm sure you will do great." he calmly said, pushing a paper towards Javier with the tip of his pointer finger. Javier smiled to himself, Melzet's words made him sure that he was going to be an important unit to make sure the new mafia wouldn't be a threat around Madrid. Javier nodded and he took the paper into his hands. He lifted it up and sank back into the chair as he read. His eyes slowly examined the paper, reading each word carefully, with much care and interest. The more he read the warmer his blood became, the more he read the more he was excited. He felt the thrill as his breath became slightly shaky, he couldn't wait. He fixed his posture when he was finally done reading the contents of the paper, sitting straight up and dropping the paper down onto the desk and then looking at Melzet with a sly smirk on his face. Melzet understood that Javier was looking forward to the mission."So? What do you say?" he asked, grabbing the paper and swaying it left and right. Javier leaned his head to the right and pulled his sleeves up."Count me in." he said calmly, but Melzet could see he was bursting with excitement. He extended his hand to Javier and Javier gripped it and shook it strongly. He felt proud of Javier, and Javier felt proud of himself to be honored so much he would be let on a mission like this. He pushed the chair back and stood up. Melzet nodded at him and he nodded at Melzet. The very next minute he was leaving the office and striding down the long bright hall again, looking at the city below him. It made him feel like he was on top of the world, looking down at everyone. He reached the elevator once again, pushed the buttons and headed down.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

He had a lot of reading to do about the mission, luckily the papers were already on the desk in his office. He reached the door of his own office once again and swung it open. Alvaro’s and David’s eyes were on him the moment he opened the door, they looked up from the papers and stared at him for a second. He was unusually happy, a small, but noticeable grin on his face. The two looked at each other."How did it go?" David asked, putting the papers on the glass table in front of him and adjusting them so they were completely symmetrical and didn't peak over or under each other. Javier closed the door behind him and sat at his desk right away. He hummed a small song aa Alvaro stared at him, the papers still messy in his hands. Javier turned to the both of them and smiled."I'm sent on an undercover mission." He said, shrugging while grabbing some papers and putting on his glasses once again. He put one leg over the other and fixed the front part of his hair, the one that was right in his face. He sighed and shuffled the papers, adjusting the order to his liking. He cleared his throat and began reading. Unlike when he was in Melzet's office, just about 7 minutes and 56 seconds ago, yes he counted in his head. He wasn't focused, clearly, he didn't really care about the papers, he already knows how it goes.Get a cover, find the spot, get in, find the guy, start a conversation, grab information, get out, deliver.
And, preferably have a drink or two if the spot was a bar. And right at the start of one paper it said it was. Bingo. Javier grinned, his eyes scanned the paper and he felt even better when he finished reading. A bar in Berlin, right near the center, one of the most expensive ones near the center. A bar Javier visited every once in a while when he needed to get out and have a drink, he had the money to pay after all, even though he didn't pay that often... He smirked to himself as he rubbed his chin. He playfully swung the paper around, his eyes following the name of the bar."The Fantics"Fnatic is a well known bar for those in this business, after all, they had relations with that company. They were on good terms, hell, he was friends with the owner, Iván Martin-Diaz. The company is known for it's absolutely risky and cocky decisions. What kind of a mafia would place a bar near the center of the city? The Fnatics would, no doubt. He admired the bravery of the comapny and his friends, but he could only imagine it wouldn't lead to a downfall eventually."The target visits the place around 22:00." He frowned just a little bit, that was personally a little too early for him, a lot of casual people will still be there at that time, so he would have to try to do his best to isolate the target. He sighed, hopefully the target doesn't have any information on him. He heard David and Alvaro whisper something, followed by a small laugh and he lowered the papers so he could see them. They looked at him for a moment."Do you need something, boss?" They asked, still looking at him, Javier shook his head, giving them a clear "no" for an answer."What are you whispering about?" he asked, raising an eyebrow while swinging the papers around. He saw David’s cheeks gain and color and he decided to back off the question. It made him let out a questioning hum and shoot David a dirty look."Never mind." He said a moment later, clearing his throat and getting back to his papers. Of course they would be talking about something sexual, he doesn't know why he even asked. They couldn't keep their hands off each other, or words in this manner. Javier envied that sometimes, what the two had. The way they managed to be in sync like the moon and the sun, the way their passion crossed limits... sometimes going a bit too far...but still, he admired them. Keeping it under cover was clearly a challenge for them, but they managed, barely... but they did. When he was done admiring, he returned his focus to the papers in his hands. Going to the Fanatics will be nice, he hadn't been there in a while, hadn't seen Iván in a while, hasn't heard much from him either... The same night he headed to the club, finding himself in front of it, the neon orange light illuminating his face...
He had the best and the worst memories connected with this club and it the whole experience of it was a double edged sword, a gamble. The guards in front of the club greeted him with respect and he soon found himself inside it, as soon as he stepped inside he was met with the loud music, overly sexual music. He looked at his clock. It was about 10 minutes until 22. The place was already full of people, mostly smaller companies and some retired businessmen Javier really didn't bother talking to. He considered those men nothing but weaklings who chose a silent and peaceful life over the thrill of the mafia business. He headed to the pult and found himself sitting next to someone familiar, he hadn't turned to see the face yet, but he could feel the familiar energy."Javier. Haven't seen you here in a while." The person spoke up, it was none other than Marek Brazda. The cheeky dirty haired blonde who was now slicking his hair back instead of letting it rest on top of his head a bit. He had worked with the older man before. The cheeky blonde that likes to talk a big game and fuck around with people from other mafias, and always somehow gets away with that. He was looking different, wearing a fancy black suit with a white shirt that half unbuttoned, revealing a garden of red and purple roses from his neck to his chest and probably even lower where Javier couldn't see. A shiny silver chain decorated his neck, an initial hanging from it "M". He would've guessed he had the initial of his own name just because his ego would, but the possibility of the older man having a lover wasn't out of the window.Wouldn't be a suprise, the man always had a lover to attend to his needs. His clothes were different, but the tone was still the same. The same old Marek who sounded silly even when he tried to act serious. Maybe the fancy suit and the slicked hair gave the scary impression to someone else, but not to him, he knew the man way too well."Came here for some action?" He asked, taking a gulp of his drink and staring at Javier with such intensity that it made Javier uncomfortable. Javier could sense the expensive perfume, but it didn't hide the scent of alcohol on him. He cleared his throat and turned to Marek with a scoff."Fuck off. I'm not fucking you tonight, Marek, and no, I'm not here to fuck people, unlike you." He answered, clearly sour. Marek had tried to ask a few times and it was clear to Javier he tried to ask again. Marek couldn't help but chuckle a bit, turning to the side and smirking before looking down at his glass, feeling a bit disappointed."Not tonight, some other night, I guess." Marek downed his drink and slammed the glass down onto the pult. He didn't even hiss at the sensation of the alcohol going down his throat. A man suddenly appeared next to him, wrapping his arms over his chest, touching the bare skin and caressing it in a quick motion. Javier's lips parted for a second and his eyes locked onto the gentle and polished skinny hands then immediately jumped to take a look at the face of the person. The curly haired man with the most intense brown eyes holding Marek was none other than Matyáš.The curly haired brunette looked
as young as ever, his face was radiating desire and was provocatively attractive. His clothes weren't any less provocative either, a loose white silk shirt with the greenest emeralds as buttons, a matching dark green tie that was hanging loosely and teasingly, a silver necklace, the same one Marek had. He wore white bell jeans that suited him way too well. His ears were pierced, or that was at least what Javier guessed from the emerald earrings hanging from the hair. He had a silver ring on, a small diamond shining on top of it. His nails were painted in a deep forest green, a color slightly off from the color of the tie and the earrings. That was Matyáš for you, no matter how fancy he made himself look, there was always a small flaw he left to be seen. The imperfect details suited him though. "Oh, Javier, nice to see you again." Matyáš looked directly at him and smirked, his pink glossy lips were stretched and Javier could see a couple of healing scars decorating them. Matyáš then looked at Marek who shook his head and he groaned. Marek looked back at him with a small smile and smirked. Matyáš looked to the side, showing off a neck full of bruises and hickeys, matching Marek's, clearly showing that their passion was as fierce as it comes. Matyáš untangled his arms from Marek's chest and headed towards the dance floor full of people on the other side of the bar. Javier could only shake his head in disbelief before looking back at Marek."So there was something between you two?" He asked. They had worked together before, the three of them. They were close and Javier always wondered if there was something happening in between them, turns out his suspicion was justified and he was right. His thoughts wandered to the cursed couch in his office and he debated whether to ask Marek if they had done anything on it...
He ultimately decided not to, he didn't want to traumatize himself. He had better questions, or questions to distract himself since he had to wait until someone he deemed suspicious walked in."And you're cheating on him." Javier shook his head and scoffed. It was the first thing that popped into his head, why was he here trying to get with other people if he already had someone? The familiar bartender sensed a tense conversation and didn't approach them, fearing for his own life. Marek chuckled and spun his empty glass with the tips of his fingers. He turned to look at Javier with a smirk on his face."I'm not cheating on him, we're looking for a third." He explained as he looked back to see where Matyáš was. The curly haired brunette was dancing with some tall man. Javier felt offended. He felt offended for being asked to be the third. Not that he was surprised, if it had been a normal couple looking for a third it wouldn't have offended him, but the people he worked with...
Not that it was a surprise, neither of them had any shame. And at that point nothing coming from those two could surprise him. On second thought, maybe proper behavior would. He looked at his clock once again, his expensive silver friend that was much safer than carrying a mobile that can be tracked. If he couldn't find the target and did decide to head to bed with someone, Melzeth wouldn't know. Not that he would betray Melzeth's trust...When Marek finally left and he was left alone, a barman approached him, Oscar. The overall average man, average height, average weight and average knowledge of the business. Dressed in a fancy white shirt with shiny orange buttons and a shiny orange bowtie, the classic attire of the Fanatics. He had some black dress pants with a shiny belt on, which was something new to Javier, but definitely better than the previous ridiculously looking orange pants. He smiled at Oscar and Oscar smiled right back, polite as always."Is Iván here?" he asked, looking behind Oscar just to add to the effect of curiosity in his question. Iván wasn't behind him, obviously. The boss spent most of his time in his office, phoning his lover."He's in the office upstairs with sir Hansen." Oscar calmly replied and Javier knew not to bother them, office was clearly a code for something else. Javier sighed and looked around before turning to Oscar who was still rubbing the same glass with a slightly dirty cloth. He lifted the glass up and looked towards the poker table. Men were laughing loudly and arguing, throwing cards onto the table in frustration. Oscar was grabbing and cleaning another glass, rubbing it until it was crystal clear."What can I get for you, Javi?" he asked as he looked up from the glass."Whiskey, still working dose." He whispered and Oscar nodded and turned on his heel to go and get the drink ready. Javier appreciated the fact he didn't ask anything, that's why he loved Oscar as a bartender, he didn't bother shoving his nose into other people's business. He looked back to see if anyone was coming into the bar, there were some ladies along with men, but nothing too suspicious.Suspect always came aloneOscar appeared from the side and slid the drink from half the pult far away right in front of Javier. Quick as always, Javier could help but smirk as he grabbed the glass and smelt the alcohol. He trusted Oscar and the Fnatics, but checking was always necessary. When he deemed the smell as normal, he put the drink down. Javier couldn't help but smirk a bit, glancing over at Oscar who was now chatting with some young girl. A cute brunette with curly hair and a freckled face that gained a rosy color once Oscar approached and pretty green eyes that sparkled when she looked at him. She seemed shy and seemed like she admired Oscar and loved him until the end of the earth. She dreamily placed her cheek against her palm and looked at Oscar with a small smile.
She brushed her shiny hair behind her ear and gently smiled at Oscar before whispering something to him and caressing his hand. She was wearing a green dress that showed off her body and long legs which were crossed. Black heels that seemed to make her feet hurt judging from the red marks on the back of the feet. Oscar listened to her carefully, smiling and blushing. He leaned in for a quick kiss and then left to go take attend to a man at the other side of the pult. He knew Oscar had a lady in his life, or so he heard, so he guessed that was the lucky girl. It was both cute and foolish of Oscar to bring his girlfriend along, considering everything that happens inside the club, but it was not on Javier's list of worries or things he had to care about so he didn't bother mentioning anything. He took a sip of the drink, hissing just a bit and finding himself satisfied with the service. He looked around and waited for a few minutes. His eyes scanned other tables, but his eyes were constantly travelling back to the poker table. For some reason it seemed so unusual and suspicious. Everyone at the table was laughing, chuckling or arguing, only one man was completely silent, staring down at his cards as if he was already defeated."Throw it." A familiar voice commanded, Antonio. The poker and gambling addict. His messy mullet showed off his neck tattoo and the lifted sleeves of the black dress shirt slowed off the tattooes on his arms. He was dressed in expensive designer clothes and wearing several gold chains and rings. He had a lady behind him, massaging his shoulders in an overly sexual way, clearly wanting something more than his money, maybe it was his girlfriend, but even if she was, Javier knew it wouldn't last long since women always leave him after a month or two. Javier guessed it was because of his political views, which he didn't mind, as long as Antonio wasn't close to him.He is a retired mafia boss who paid off his debts and hit the gambling table as soon as he got some more money doing illegal business. Always loved poker, nothing changed. Now he was telling someone to drop their cards. The woman at the opposite side of the table chuckled and stared at the man who Antonio referred to. The man dropped his cards and everyone gasped. Antonio's eyes widened and the man stayed cold faced, looking up at Antonio. Antonio chuckled nervously and scratched his neck before looking at the woman behind him. She stared at him angrily before walking off. He looked at the others before groaning and standing up to go catch up to her. The others at the table were looking at each other, clearly shocked and suprised that Antonio lost. The man chuckled and lifted his head up, he could see him from the side. A young curly haired Asian man. Javier's senses hit in and before he knew it he was downing his drink, not even hissing at the bitter and strong taste. He was heading towards the poker table. He took a seat and everyone turned and stared at him. He saw familiar faces at the table but he didn't care, his focus was on the man across from him. The man hadn't bothered to turn to look at him, looking down and not showing his face properly once again."I'm dealing. Playing Tablanette." The cute French with blonde hair said as he hummed. A deck consisting of 104 cards. 8 people were playing, which was weird considering the game is for 4 players, maximum. The man on his right cut the deck in half and took four cards from the bottom and dropped them down onto the table while flipping the cards. An Ace, Queen, 3 of diamonds and a two. A pleasant drop for the person who was going first, which was the man who was first dealt the cards. In the meanwhile, the blonde dealt to his left, taking the other deck and dealing from the top, he first dealt to a man on his right and then to Javier who shot him a look. The blonde dealt three cards to everyone and then himself and then dealt three more first to others and then himself. Javier didn't bother asking why they weren't playing poker. To be fully honest, he didn't care. He recognized the cute guy, it was Vincent, a son of a rich French mafia leader and a total brat. He was wearing a black turtleneck that clung to his skinny body tightly and Javier would lie if he said it didn't look good on him.He couldn't help but hum to himself. Probably snuck out while daddy wasn't looking. The guy had a reputation for always going out to clubs and taking someone home with him on the way back. The reputation his dear daddy didn't know about and wouldn't be pleased to hear about...
Javier took a look at his cards. A queen, an 8 and an A. He grabbed the other cards too, a 3, 6 and 7. Not half bad, he did the quick math of the way it will be played. 8 players, three rounds, only two rounds, everyone gets 6 cards, will sum up to 48 and then to 96.
4 cards would be left which made Javier look at the man who put down the cards."I'll be taking 4 cards out." He explained as he grabbed 4 more cards from the bottom of the deck and put them in front of himself on the table. An Ace, a 4 of diamonds, a 3 of clubs and a 5 of hearts.Vincent dealt three cards to everyone and then himself and then dealt three more first to others and then himself. Javier didn't bother asking why they weren't playing poker. To be fully honest, he didn't care.
When the blonde was done dealing, the man put his half of the cut under what was left of Vincent's dealings and lifted it up, showing the bottom card. An Ace that will be Vincent's. He guessed the winner would be the person with the most "alive" cards, those being the 10, J, K, Q and A, each granting 1 point. The big ten, ten of diamonds is worth 2 points and the small 2, 2 of clubs was worth a point. The player with the most cards will also get bonus points. He had played this game with Marek before, he had introduced it to him. A Russian and Balkan game. A game simple enough to pay attention to other things as he plays it, that is if he doesn't care about winning. Otherwise he would have to count cards. They began playing fairly quickly, grabbing points and cards, making Tablettes which were written down on a paper, worth a whole bonus point. Javier was digging holes into the lowered face of the Asian man across from his from how hard he was staring, he looked at him strictly, clenching his jaw. The man kept staring down at his cards and only occasionally lifted his head up to take a look at the player next to him.The first round passed like a breeze and the next one was beginning as quickly as Vincent dealt the cards. Javier had only 2 cards so far, 4 cards, two threes that he managed to take with his three, and a queen. Others were doing a bit better, having 4 or more cards. The target was doing the best and had around eleven cards by now. He had to throw the ace, not having anything else. It didn't bother him much, all he was really focused on was the man. He matched the description of the target. He must've stared just a bit longer than he wanted to, the man was now lifting his chin up. Their eyes met from across the room. The piercing brown eyes met his own even darker ones. He couldn't help but gulp and his breath slowed down for just a moment before he clenched his jaw and flexed it. They made eye contact for a short while before the younger one broke it, scratching his neck and looking to the side. He looked away as well, but can feel the young man staring holes into his face from that moment. The young asian man was gorgeous to say the least, his face was his best charm and his youthful rosy lips and strong and defined cheekbones made him seem soft yet frightening. He had piercing brown eyes which were a definite test of temptation from God. His black curly hair suited him, falling over his forehead in a charming and cute way. His ears were pierced, big diamond earrings decorating them.He looked nothing like a serious threat, just some young brat. When he threw his last card, the man chuckled at him and he finally looked at him fiest, shooting him a small smirk before throwing the king and taking most of the cards. The men and Vincent finished their turns and took whatever was left of the cards. The cards were clearly target's. And people stood up from the table without even counting. The petite French blonde counted his cards and sighed as he stood up, collecting the cards into a deck and leaving them. Javier shot the young man a look and dound the young man already staring at him and drinking something. He stood up and looked around before approaching the man."Well played, you play often?" He spoke in English, since the papers clearly stated that he didn't speak any Spanish. The young man turned to look at him and shook his head."Nah, here for business, but had to see what the nightlife had to offer." The man explained as he extended his hands towards the deck and dropped his own cards on top. Javier hummed and looked around the club. The man looked at him before turning to also have a look at what Javier was looking at. Javiet turned to him and crossed his arms over his chest."How old are you, you look quite young." He asked, dropping a hint of concern in his tone just to make it a justified question."I'm 20." The target said and Javier hummed. He was a young one, he wanted to curse him for a second, but decided against it. The man was annoyingly handsome and Javier couldn't look at him for longer than a few seconds before having to look away. He grabbed his drink and sipped it, the man sipped his own and they sat next to each other in silence, or at least the silence between them, not that it was really silent with all the people screming and singing along to La Cruz."You alone tonight?" the younger man whispered, looking around before turning to Javier. Javier thought he hadn't heard him well the first time."What?" He asked, the younger man came a bit closer and raised his tone."Are you alone tonight?" he repeated, looking at Javier, his cheeks slightly rosy, probay from the alcohol. Javier blinked before nodding and the man looked around before placing his hand on Javier's thigh. Javier's whole body froze and now he was just staring at the man. The man looked down at his lips and then up at his eyes."Wanna head out?" He asked, biting his lip and looking at him with brown eyes that were piercing through Javier's whole body and down to his lower body. He doesn't remember saying yes, but he does remember standing up and leaving...
