Star Sumo II Return to

Entire Work

Work Text

Throughout the vast expanse of outer space with its endless ocean of scattered stars, the Lylat System lingered contently in a tranquil state of peace. Its planets were safe from galactic threat, long after the defeat of Andross or any significant opposition, the civilizations within its boundless confines able to grow and thrive as they pleased. No matter this relative peace, Team Star Fox, commanded by the valiant General Pepper, continued to perform their duties in ensuring no such threat would return to fruition, let alone anything even remotely comparable to that rogue scientist exiled to Venom. But in due time, as mandated by those above, the four pilots were granted their annual vacations which were to be taken simultaneously. It felt as exciting as it did nerve-wracking, the team able to go their separate ways for a time despite their camaraderie and the lingering questions of whether such recreation would be disrupted by their dangerous line of work, neither one of them certain. Nevertheless, while finding it oddly hard to part from their jobs they impeccably performed, there was a sense of relief knowing that this time off was a change of pace long overdue.     Soon enough, Team Star Fox said their temporary goodbyes and went their separate ways - hoping to stay in touch should the chance arise - with Falco Lombardi, Peppy O’Hare, and Slippy Toad each heading off in a different direction, not entirely sure what their respective vacations would entail. For Fox McCloud, however, he knew exactly where he would be spending his time off. All cleared for takeoff in his Arwing and from his duties, Fox blasted off through the far reaches of space, passing by planets and fields of asteroids, his destination set in stone. Over the lengthy course of time that passed since he first visited Sumor, Fox could not stop thinking about the newly-discovered planet. So much had happened that fateful day that he still felt as though he had yet to fully wrap his head around it all. Still, not a day passed from then onward where its overgrown biomes and hints of ancient history captivated his mind, to the point where he started dreaming about it, leading to surreal scenarios manifesting inside his head, many of which would vanish moments after waking up. During that same timespan, news coverage and press releases about the planet since its discovery subsided, although rumours persisted of thieves and scoundrels still venturing there in search of supposed relics and artifacts. Fox was not deterred by these rumours. In fact, he felt more determined than ever to explore Sumor, strengthened greatly by his possession of a wholly important necklace protected inside its sizeable box, sitting among extra changes of clothes for when the red fox required them.     Above all though, what gravitated Fox back to Sumor outside of curiosity, determination, and all that time clawing away at him was a single and unmistakable feeling, the very words from when he left the planet still echoing through his mind at this moment, on his way to alleviate this adventurous itch.     “Something about this planet feels tethered to me.” Fox confidently repeated to himself in the cockpit, anticipation brewing like a storm. “I just know it. With all this time now on my hands, I’m sure I’ll find more answers.”     In due time, he approached Sumor, its jade-green surface with zig-zagging navy blues glimmering in his eyes, feeling like he was being welcomed back home in the process. The celestial body grew larger as the Arwing gradually entered its atmosphere, Fox ensuring that he was ready for anything this time, hands gripping both joysticks, given his close call the first time around. To his relief, he was greeted by relatively bright and sunny weather, blue skies overlooking the planet like loving strokes from a paintbrush. Sumor’s vast biome of rainforests came into view through the ship’s windshield, enormous trees endlessly populating the grassy terrain, while bodies of water ranging from lakes to waterfalls and streams and creeks - even a fair share of oceans - divided much of the sprawling land, their full bodies the evident result of continual rainfall that was nowhere to be seen. With Fox’s view firmly focused through the windshield before him, he felt his nerves carefully ease as he flew over much of the planet’s surface, a familiar comfort instilling into him. He observed the environments below and surrounding him, seeing endless fields of long, uncut grass amid the towering trees and between the waters, soon spotting a familiar structure coming up in the distance. Upon the planet’s horizon, Fox was greeted by the enormous golden pyramid, its splendour shining in the sunlight. The ace pilot leaned forward in his seat, eying the temple after much time away from it, his breath nearly taken away from him all over again.     “What a marvellous view!” Fox uttered with a smirk on his face, glancing down and proceeding to flick a few switches among the ship’s controls. “I better find that landing spot from before.”     With the ancient building now in his sights, he took it as a sign to slow down and turn around - taking form of a barrel roll - proceeding to steadily fly overhead the nearby fields, scouting for that field of uncut grass. After some time, Fox found that very spec of land, its swarm of green blades having not grown an inch, untouched and impervious to time’s unending stride. It made for a strange sight on a strange planet, like crop-circles from extraterrestrials, made more bizarre by the rest of the surrounding grass having grown even longer since last time; easily doubled. Regardless, carefully lowering the Arwing towards the uncut part of the field, Fox turned the ship around to face the pyramid in the distance, touching down upon the soil of Sumor.     Having landed safe and sound, flicking numerous switches to power off the Arwing, Fox took a moment to calmly breathe, smothering any remaining nerves within his system about his forthcoming endeavour. He remained seated in the cockpit, the view of Sumor’s lush yet overgrown landscape sitting before him, unfolding for what looked to be countless miles, the pyramid visible in the distance. For a moment, in the silence of the ship, Fox thought back to everything that had transpired in and around his first and, until now, only visit to Sumor. To go down memory lane like that muddy trail that led him to the pyramid-shaped temple holding the artifact still in his possession, looking behind him and seeing that square metallic box nestled among his personal cargo, its contents silently calling out to him now that it was home.     It all started with a stranger contacting Fox one day through a private channel, presenting the opportunity of a lifetime to explore, find artifacts, and deliver them from Sumor, having recently been discovered and made publicly known. While reluctant to accept, the pilot soon grew enticed, pride and courage outweighing his fear, willing to take the risks if it meant unearthing knowledge never before seen. Even as he flew to the giant celestial body, Fox continued questioning his decision, going alone with no other soul aware, most notably General Pepper. All that guilt would be erased the moment he entered Sumor’s atmosphere, taking in its sprawling, oversized land of rainforests and waterbodies dwarfing in comparison to that giant temple’s beauty, an artifact surely kept within its walls. Trekking on-foot, Fox ventured across a portion of the planet, encountering sizeable fields of grass, trees akin to skyscrapers back on Corneria growing fruit as big as his head, and even a dilapidated village only scratching the echoing surface of its unseen inhabitants’ lives, culture, and history.     The planet felt ghastly, empty, too big for someone like Fox. Yet he persevered and reached the golden temple in time, its narrow yet spacious corridor containing a gallery’s worth of ancient etchings, depicting foxes with the bodies of sumo wrestlers in a variety of poses, most prevalently in the midst of such sport. Sure enough, the artifact he found possessed ties to these portly people, for the instant Fox adorned it during his surprise scuffle with the notorious Wolf O’Donnel, his body took on the size and strength as one of these sumo wrestlers, an unnatural yet welcome power that allowed him to defeat then flatten Wolf into a life-sized pancake against the temple floor. With the artifact now in his secured possession, Fox waddled back to the Arwing, noticing how everything on the planet now felt right in his larger size, almost making him feel like the last of these foxes. As he then departed, taking the artifact for himself, those words which he could never stop dwelling upon first escaped his lips, coming back to them time and time again:     “Something about this planet feels… tethered to me.”     Since that day, Fox never heard from the stranger. Whether they were waiting for him to fulfill his job or somehow knew what he had done, the pilot could only surmise. No matter, he did not let this unknown variable get to him, feeling the last of his nerves vacate his small yet slim figure from reflecting on his prior adventure.     “Alright… that’s enough daydreaming.” Fox told himself, unbuckling his restraints and opening the Arwing’s canopy. “It’s time to wake up.”     With a lack of rain, Fox’s boots were hardly dirtied the instant they planted themselves upon the muddy trail, having already retrieved the metal box containing the artifact before doing so. The pilot stood several feet to the left of his ship, ensuring there was more than enough space to promptly occupy. In his hands, he carefully held a large golden necklace with a circular green gem embedded into its center, the jewel as large as his hand. His eyes looked upon its maintained beauty, having kept the artifact in pristine condition since taking it into his possession, that metal box encasing it when he first found it inside the temple.     “I still can’t believe I’m back here.” The red fox uttered, glancing up at Sumor before looking back at the necklace. “It almost feels like I never left.”     Hard-rooted in reality that never ceased to amaze him, Fox readied himself for what came next. He had not worn the necklace since that altercation with Wolf, whispering doubts pecking at his mind. What if something went wrong? What if it no longer worked? These questions and more came and went from Fox’s head at lightspeed as he slowly placed the necklace around his neck. It dangled greatly from where it now rested from, the jewel above his navel. Like everything else on Sumor, it was much too big for him. Nevertheless, he stood still, looking down at both the necklace and his attire. While he could have undressed to save his clothes, he had to admit, he rather liked the feeling of bursting out of them; something that had grown on him since first experiencing the necklace’s marvellous abilities. As the green gem laid against his stomach, Fox watched it glow below in his periphery, the intoxicating sensation of purest power coursing through his being. In no time at all, he observed his middle swelling outward, newly-gained weight taking roundest shape with a noticeable bump, soon ballooning into a bonafide potbelly.     Unlike his confusion the first time around, Fox felt himself filling with confidence. His eyes focused intently on his torso, adipose causing it to expand before them with innate fascination. Any ounce of muscle was swiftly buried under many of fat, travelling down his limbs and up his chest, leaving no part of the pilot with the same build as before. His clothes scrunched and strained against girthy attributes, soon shredding and falling to the muddy ground below his growing shadow, the planet’s humid air brushing against his bare cream and orange fur. Even while surpassing obesity with nothing to clothe him, Fox stood tall and mighty, the former emphasized upon growing upward by numerous inches. He marvelled at the onslaught of weight packing onto his frame, filling rapidly like a water balloon, the majority of it directed at his belly that made him look like one with sentience, sporting chunky arms and legs, his head attached to a widening neck. From behind, his buttocks expanded, merging with his flabby back to form a unified shape of rotundity, each cheek a half-scale imitation of his orbular gut. That paintbrush of a tail wagged excitedly, itself enlarging and sticking out longer, brushing against much more of his backside’s accumulating girth. All the while, his thighs and legs ballooned and shortened, having become flesh and fur compared to their metal selves, both paws leaving deeper prints in the mud.     “I feel great!” Fox boasted to himself, rubbing his ball-like gut with his sizeable hands and sausage-fingers, strength bubbling beneath his bulbous bulk. “Invincible!”     Across the singular moment in which he grew in more ways than one, the pilot felt a bright red mawashi fit him from thin air, wrapping snug around his wall-shattering hips and beneath his burgeoning middle, yanking itself high into the depths of his asscrack. He easily stood exponentially wider than that scrawny yet sturdy physique he normally possessed, towering above his own ship, his curvy right hip brushing against its side. Fox glanced down at the Arwing right when the gem’s glow died out, signalling the end of his incredulous transformation. Several hundred points and wearing only that blessed mawashi, the red fox had become one of Sumor’s sumo wrestlers, bringing a smile to his face as wide as his figure.     “Aw, yeah! Now this is more like it!” He proudly boasted, rubbing his hips with both swollen hands, feeling the dense sea of adipose that nestled inside him. “I can take on anything.”     Itching to test his regained might, Fox fastened both hands to his hips, leaning his immense body to the left while lifting his sizeable right paw. For a second, he channelled the strength that flowed through him like an invigorating fountain, swirling in the very core of his being before letting it all out through a single, powerful, stomp.
     BOOM!!

CRA- KRACK!!
The surrounding area from where Fox stood rumbled identically to that of an earthquake, shockwaves visibly reverberating around the surrounding point of impact made against the ground. He glanced up at the quivering trees and lengthy grass-fields before looking down at his paw, a crater with zig-zagging cracks emerging from where it landed. For several seconds on end, the shaking persisted, a giddy smile taking flight upon Fox’s face. As it soon ceased, he was taken aback when a crack formed for several meters in front of and behind where he stood, untold depths merely suggested by sunlight’s limited reach into it. In the middle of his surprise, Fox suddenly noticed his Arwing tipping over to its left, set to fall down the crack he himself had formed upon the planet. Gasping, acting quickly, the red fox bent over - butt sticking up in the air - his right hand grasping the underside of the Arwing like a platter about to be served to hungry patrons. With little struggle, he managed to lift the ship several feet above the ground, carefully sidestepping to his right a few paces before setting it back down on stable ground.     “Whoops! Close call.” Fox exclaimed then sighed, embarrassed, rubbing the back of his rounded head with his chubby right hand. “Guess I got a bit carried away there.”     Having taken a moment to admire his new size and strength, even after getting sidetracked just a little, the sumo-pilot focused his gaze onto the trail that would take him towards where he had been before, intent on exploring to his heart’s content.     “I bet there’s something I missed back at that village.” He pondered, the lack of sentient life unnerving him. “There’s gotta be some sign of what happened to those foxes.”     The tubby, fluffy fox proceeded to lumber forth, leaving behind the remains of his tattered clothes, paw-prints imprinted upon the mud. His heft jostled from side to side, both stubby legs capable of hoisting it all. Immersing himself into Sumor all over again, there lingered a subtle sweetness in the humid air. It made Fox feel like anything was possible down this path, a feeling he held onto with optimism as big as his stomach. …      Upon reaching the abandoned village, hardly feeling winded from all that weighty waddling, Fox took a moment to take in his surroundings, slowly entering its grounds covered with dried mud. In its derelict state, a subtle somberness hung over what remained of the settlement, strewn items and toppled huts encircling the sumo-pilot as he slowly proceeded towards the firepit at its centre, eyeing the sumo wrestling rings that in turn encircled the pit. He stared down the trace of ashes remaining in its cratered home, wondering when it was last used to keep its people warm. From there, he looked up and around at all the tents, their differing materials and hides making each one stand out from the last, a number of them nothing more than collapsed rubble. At first glance, nothing appeared to differ from the village now compared to when Fox had first come across it, that same saddened serenity washing over his ball-shaped figure. But with the narrowing focus of his eyes, he spotted fresh tracks upon the ground before him, large and girthy craters shaped like the paws of foxes, four of them he clearly made out. Could that mean…?
     THOOM!!

THOOM!!
Fox perked up at the deep, reverberating noise of thunderous footsteps, stemming from a tent that stood its ground in front of and to his right. Looking towards this hut, its exterior made of wood and hides, he watched as the first signs of life on Sumor appeared before his widened eyes, accompanied by bated breath. Two foxes, about as large and heavy as Fox himself, emerged from the tent, carrying kitchen utensils and kitchenware in their meaty hands. Their hips wobbled greatly, nudging and brushing against the distended entryway, being careful not to drop what they had collected from inside. Leading the way was a silver fox with black fur, eyes narrowed and face wrinkled from age, the tip of his tail dipped in a snowy white. Behind him, lacking the calm, wise demeanour of the elder, another silver fox with fur aligned with its namesake briefly struggled to escape the tent’s ensnaring confines, nearly dropping the bundle of spoons in his hands before freeing himself and catching his breath, his face the epitome of youth. While the darker-furred fox sported a beard that had been kept trim for the most part, uneven segments sticking out longer than others from his plump chin, the lighter-furred fox appeared to be clean-shaven, a dichotomy of old and young further established between the two. All the while, a green mawashi firmly dug around the hips and buttocks of the younger fox, the older one wearing a yellow undergarment of ancient importance.     Stopping in their tracks, both foxes gasped aloud in their bellowing voices upon spotting the fox with the gold and green necklace, that glimmering jewel reflecting in their eyes. They slowly turned and lumbered towards Fox, a feeling of trepidation creeping over his senses. Nevertheless, he remained where he stood, watching as the pair came up to him, now standing side by side, their bellies nearly touching Fox’s. Here, the eldest of the two cleared his throat.     “Yokozuna return.” His booming voice bounced forth towards Fox, a gravelly texture faintly coming through. “Fox who inherits necklace, foretold long ago.”     “Yokozuna?” The younger one gasped, practically in awe at being in the sumo-pilot’s presence. “Really… you?”     In the few seconds spent taking in the other foxes, eyes darting all over the place, Fox noted the manner in which they spoke. Every word came across as stilted, uttered clumsily, the foxes striving to speak clearly despite their struggle to do so, their bodies their biggest attributes despite the earnestness exuding from their tricky communication.     “The Yoko- what now?” Fox confusedly repeated, his head and the thick neck it was attached to tilting to the side.     “You… are Yokozuna.” The older sumo reaffirmed, his right index finger poking Fox’s belly before retracting it, pointing it at him before himself and the younger fox. “You… follow us.”     “Yes.” The lighter-furred sumo added, excitement lighting up his face. “Come. Return to tribe. We waited long time.”     This was it. Fox finally had the opportunity to live and learn with these natives of Sumor standing right before him. Curiosity stimulated his mind like never before, the knowledge he had only scratched the surface of previously about to expand just like his figure. Before these rotund beings, the sumo-pilot smiled, almost struggling to communicate to them out of tremendous glee.     “I’ve been waiting for this day for what feels like forever.” He excitedly told them, his manner of speaking different from theirs, his right hand gesturing forth. “Lead the way. I’ll follow from behind.”     Grunting, both foxes bowed their heads in the form of a nod, treating Fox like a mythical being. From there, they turned around and proceeded to waddle forth, the sumo-pilot following them, promptly exiting the derelict village and down a path separate from the muddy trail.     Time seemed to ripple off Fox’s fattened body during his lengthy journey with the Sumor sumos, passing through endless rainforests as the sun made its own journey across the sky. The trio crossed lakes and rivers from time to time, whose waded waters brought rejuvenation to the pilot’s paws, their prints embedding the ground wherever he went. Hardly a word was spoken between the foxes, the sounds of rustling leaves and grass plus rushing water surrounding them as they ventured deep into the heart of the planet, the red fox unsure how far they strayed from the abandoned village. Eventually, sunset imminent, laughter and banter could be heard in the distance, Fox’s ears perking up from these jovial sounds. There had to have been dozens upon dozens of voices, all bellowing with slightly varied pitches. At the same time, he noticed wildlife scampering around, his escorts unfazed. Small and large creatures alike, all portly from head to toe, some bipedal while others roamed on all fours, captivated the head of Star Fox, unsure whether he wanted to focus more on them or the pair of vast, towering, wooden gates up ahead between curving rows of trees, with two large figures standing before them.     Upon reaching this mysterious entryway, a pair of guards, light-orange foxes wearing maroon mawashis, froze upon eying the necklace bouncing against Fox’s cream and orange belly, soon bowing to him and the eldest sumo, their respect for the old as great as the pilot’s.     “Yokozuna…” The guards gasped in unison, maintaining their composure in the presence of both Fox and the older sumo.     “Stand there all day, or open gates?” The elder lightly chastised them, not wanting to wait a moment longer to enter home. “Tribe waiting…”     In place of a vocal affirmation, the guards grunted as such, before turning around and grunting again, unseen hands hastily turning cranks that echoed in the ears of all the foxes, Fox staring ahead as the gates opened inward to a sight he could have never been prepared for. A lavish village several times larger than the ruined settlement struck Fox’s senses all at once. He saw numerous sumo foxes of different heights, ages, and fur colours, all of them rotund and obese, living their best lives as a close community, doing their part to make it thrive.     At its center, a firepit had been lit ablaze, numerous foxes sitting around it, the surrounding space able to accommodate everyone in the tribe. Encircling the firepit, a series of sumo wrestling rings were marked by thin, circular strips of bark, several of them ready for use in training. Distant from them by numerous feet, huts in pristine condition lined the sides of the village, each adorned with torches yet to be lit, able to accommodate a few tribe members, a few storing essential supplies. At the very back of the settlement sat a lone hut thrice the size of any other, symbolic of a throne that could be lived in, a carving of the green gem forever engrained above its wide entrance. Beyond the huts, many trees grew plentiful fruit, the sweetest, ripest produce in all the Lylat System. In the far distance behind the largest hut, a wide cliff-face could be seen, a waterfall cascading along it and landing in a sizeable lake, reminiscent of a backyard pool but far greater in scale. Many sumo-foxes bathed together inside the lake, its purpose being fulfilled, its water a bright, tropical teal that faintly glimmered from the ensuing sunset, an orange haze tinting everything else in the process.     “Whoooa...” Fox gasped, stretching the lone word out in his amazement, witnessing a civilization forgotten to time. “This place rocks!”     “We safe here, Yokozuna.” The eldest sumo told Fox, turning to face the younger sumo and directing him to the sizeable hut across from where they stood past the village gates. “Take Yokozuna to hut. Yokozuna rest after long walk.”     The younger sumo affirmatively grunted and nodded, passing the older one his acquired spoons before telling Fox to “Come” with the wave of his hand.     As the younger sumo led Fox to the largest hut, going around the firepit, the residing sumo-foxes throughout the village took notice of the ancient necklace swinging and bouncing upon his belly, rushing towards and soon crowding the sumo-pilot, the commotion catching Fox off-guard, nonetheless adoring this sudden bout of attention.     “They all… worship me?” He quietly pondered to himself, hearing words of praise overlapping one another, some sumos giving him locally grown fruit and treasures while others eyed his unique mawashi and jiggling features, the ground trembling wherever he went like a divine being. “I seem to be the guest of honour around here.”     Once the crowd was sent away by the younger sumo, standing his ground with the authority of his responsibility, he led Fox into the largest hut in the village, presenting him his personal abode. The hut was reminiscent of a spa, stretched hides comprising its walls, the floor solid dirt. Three interconnected rooms laid themselves out before the sumo-pilot and his guide, the first of which, the central room directly in front of them, contained a large bed made for one as massive as the Yokozuna. To the left, a room-sized pool sloshed with cool, fresh water, a private place to bathe and unwind, complete with a shallow and deep-end. To the right, a storage room full of food awaited Fox, sporting all the produce, meat, and cultural recipes he could ever want, collectively weighing as much as himself.     “Yokozuna’s hut.” The younger sumo presented Fox, the red fox’s eyes lighting up with surprise.     “Wait… all of this is for me?” The sumo-pilot asked aloud, in utter disbelief as he waddled inside and looked at each of the rooms. “Look at the size of this bed, the tub, all this food. This place is bigger than my quarters back on the Great Fox!”     As Fox glanced back at his guide, the younger sumo leaned partially out the doorway, calling for someone with the use of low grunts as though they were from a language Fox had yet to understand. Instantly, two more sumos, both snowy white in blue and purple mawashis, entered the private hut, nodding and bowing before the mighty Yokozuna as he stood before them.     “They serve you.” The younger sumo informed Fox, pointing at one followed by the other. “Feed you, bathe you, everything Yokozuna need.”     “Everything I need…” Fox happily mused to himself, his sudden status as the fabled fox greatly instilling him with that tethered feeling that brought him back to Sumor on the first place. “Oh, man! You guys are the best!”
     GUUOOOOOOORRRRRRBBLLL- GRRRRRRRNN…
Suddenly, Fox froze as his stomach rumbled intensely with the need for nourishment, the loud, trembling sound echoing throughout the village, lasting numerous seconds. He looked down at his belly, startled by its cries for food, absentmindedly rubbing the hefty mass to soothe it for now.     “Before rest, Yokozuna feast.” The younger sumo informed the sumo-pilot. “Sit at fire. Feast with tribe.”     “Oh, you bet I will!” Fox replied, eager to bask in the customs of this civilization, to accept his new place among the tribe. “Let’s hope there’s more than enough grub to go around.”     With dinner imminent, the foxes all left the Yokozuna’s hut one by one. Being the last to leave, Fox looked back, briefly glancing at his new home he could hardly wait to settle down in.     Over the course of countless courses, deep into the night with torches burning bright, the sumo-foxes of Sumor dined with the fabled Yokozuna. Everyone sat cross-legged around the flickering fire-pit, telling stories and basking in Fox’s presence, passing around meal after meal and drink after drink, not a single belly left empty by the end. The head of Star Fox absorbed every fact and conversation around him, alongside every calorie from the food he devoured. Across the hours, his tastebuds were subjected to the tribe’s unique delicacies, ranging from cuisine and meats to vegetables galore, dessert coming in the form of the planet’s sweetened fruit. Once Fox had taken the final bite of his final fruit, having eaten his weight in food and then some, he felt a ticklish grumble manifest deep inside him, looking down at his stomach as it jostled in his lap. As it found itself jiggling with a newfound pressure, rising up through his esophagus and throat, the rest of the tribe stopped to focus on it, silence striking fast, witnessing the pressure escape from the fox’s mouth in the form of a long, powerful belch.
     BWWOOOOOOOOOUUUURRRRRRRRP!!!
A bright red blush hotter than the fire-pit blazed across Fox’s face, worried he had embarrassed himself in front of the heavyweight tribe. What would normally be perceived as rude by those outside of Sumor was soon praised by the planet’s foxes, all of them cheering and applauding the impressive size and scale of Fox’s belch. A pang of pride sent pleasurable ripples down his spine and throughout his lard-riddled frame, a beaming grin following suit.     “I could get used to this.” Fox quietly remarked to himself, chuckling with the rest of the foxes, rubbing his engorged belly. …      The following morning, sunlight creeping through the open doorway, Fox awoke with a reinvigorated start, all those meals having settled nicely within his stomach. He was guided by his servants towards the sizeable lake and its continuous waterfall, the Yokozuna in need of being deeply cleansed. Fox felt buoyant within the cool, calming waters he steadily submerged himself into, absorbing into him as though he were a sponge, the waterfall soothing his thickened neck and back. Meanwhile, the servants scrubbed his fur with brushes from head to toe, taking great pride in tending to the Yokozuna. During his time in the lake, Fox found himself joined by a few of the tribe members, followed by a few more… then several more… twice as many… even thrice of that! Before he knew it, the sumo-pilot was at the center of a village-wide bath. Although a smidge cramped, he enjoyed the company, waddling around and greeting everyone for a while. Breakfast nearly outdid that of the prior night’s dinner, the tribe passing around many delicacies that Fox increasingly adored, his stomach working quick to fill up as it did before, strength further flourishing through his giant body.     With reignited power came training, the numerous wrestling rings soon filled by two sumos each. By chance, Fox was paired with the younger sumo from yesterday, both wasting no time in testing their might. Numerous rounds commenced over a lengthy passage of time. Their bellies smooshed, hands grappled, sweat running down their brows as they each fought for dominance inside the ring. At times, Fox bested the younger sumo, the necklace’s enhanced power giving him a combative edge. Other times, the sumo-pilot was surprised by his opponent’s capabilities, a tie nearly being declared before Fox managed to win amidst the final few matches. In working up an appetite, lunch recovered his strength, the afternoon coasting by with more feasting and sumo practice. As the day progressed, Fox listened to more of the tribe’s distinct language, communicating through grunts of specific volume and intonation. He quickly grew fascinated by it, wishing to learn this guttural dialect for himself. To his surprise, the more time he spent around the natives of Sumor, the more Fox began to understand what they grunted, his brain rewiring itself to translate it on the fly, picking up a few phrases in no time. Already, he felt right at home on Sumor.     A fulfilling day led Fox to retreat to the pool inside his hut, bathing with his servants side by side, the last tinge of sunset erased by night. There, he breathed easy, sitting at the deep-end with dinner on its way, another feast he could hardly wait for. Out of nowhere, the servant to his right perked up, the distant sound of rustling grass and crunchy branches infiltrating his ears. He rose from the pool and waddled his way out, grunting for his fellow servant to follow while getting Fox’s attention, a differing grunt alerting him to something unexpected. Remaining in the pool but more awake, the pilot watched his servants leave the hut, a few moments passing before curiosity got the better of him. Fox promptly emerged from the pool, waddling outside and shaking the water off his fur, the night’s breeze tickling his bare behind. After another moment of brewing anticipation, the sumo-pilot’s servants returned, their hands clasping around the sides of a vague shadowy shape that they dragged along the ground, coming into view as they neared the village torches. Soon enough, rounding the side of the firepit and approaching Fox, they presented him with a familiar face, the last person he expected to run into during his vacation.     “No way! Is that…?” Fox softly uttered, away from the ears of Wolf O’ Donnell, groaning as the servants brought him directly towards the Yokozuna, letting go of his arms and falling to his knees, the two Sumor sumos looming over him.     The head of Star Wolf looked to be in rough shape, his hair ruffled and clothes torn, scrapes and bruises scattered across his body. Still, he had enough strength in him to look up and recognize an old pal when he knew one, even after several hundred pounds and a substantial height increase.     “Wolf?” Fox unexpectedly uttered, arms crossed upon his gut, watching as the eye-patch-wearing lupine groaned annoyedly.     “Outsider!” One of the servants shouted, drawing attention from some of the tribe.     “Heard outsider. Captured outsider. Brought to Yokozuna.” The other servant succinctly explained, leading to Wolf chiming in on what had happened.     “Star Fox…” He growled, that low, suave voice of his trembling. “Did you really think I would give up after that humiliating defeat I suffered at your hands? You knew I would crawl back here someday for what I set out to do, all those artifacts waiting to be found by me. But above that, I longed for revenge. As you can see, however, the planet’s people seemed to sense my arrival.”     “You just couldn’t leave me alone, could you?” Fox scoffed with a smirk, staring down at the surrounded wolf. “You wanted payback after I flattened you back in the temple.”     “Hahahaha… you should have picked a better spot to land your ship. Although, even if you did, I would’ve tracked you down all the same.” The lupine teased, eyeing the surrounding village. “When I found this place, I expected you to be staying among them as a guest, not the long-awaited chosen one able to thrive like a king. I mean, what are the odds that we’d both be here at the same time?”     During the ensuing conversation, a crowd gathered around Wolf, glaring ominously into the eye of their trespasser. Between noticing this and still having a score to settle with his long-time rival, Fox took it upon himself to deliver swift punishment to his unruly rival.     “You know what, Wolf? I’m not frightened of you.” Fox told him, waddling backwards several paces up to the front of his hut. “You pose no threat against me or this village. In fact, you should be lucky that I washed up, because you’re about to get up-close and personal with the mighty Yokozuna!”     Too weak to stand and falling onto his back, Wolf watched with horror as Fox ran towards him at full speed, a sense of déjà-vu hitting him over the head the instant the sumo-pilot leapt high a few feet before him. A large, rounded shadow formed overtop Wolf, growing fast over a few seconds, the servants stepping out of the way to avoid a grinning Fox who landed atop the poor lupine with a magnificent-
     SPLOOMPH!!
Fox rubbed his enormous belly on top of Wolf, smothering him to no end while his servants watched. The tribe cheered, their applause thunderous. Wolf, meanwhile, struggled to breathe. All he could see was Fox’s light-coloured fur upon every inch of his girthy body, swaying like thick, undulating waves from the ocean itself. Only the brief, frantic movements beneath that dense gut acted as any indication that he was even down there. For as much as Fox wished to stay like this for a while longer, hearing a delightful symphony of muffled moans, he had other daring plans to incapacitate the head of Star Wolf. Pushing against the ground, he slowly raised himself back up, grabbing Wolf by the collar and picking him up, making him stand on his two weary paws. The lupine, dazed, regained his senses to a meagre extent, watching the scene around him unfold. Fox grunted for his servants to approach the trespasser, their stomachs sandwiching him by each facing him from both sides. As this transpired, Wolf looked confused, unsure of what Fox was saying to the other foxes, before he suddenly found himself struck by those two snow-white bellies as they thrusted deeply into his scrawny body by comparison.
     BWOONGPH!!
Wolf groaned again as he felt himself flatten from the powerful thrusts of both servants, revelling in their strength over the lupine as did Fox, who carefully lumbered up to his rival, instructing the servants to back away a couple of steps and shuffle towards his back. They soon stood behind and to the side of the village trespasser, turning diagonally and looming over him. During which, Wolf’s uncertainty grew tenfold when the Yokozuna himself shuffled forwards, the tip of his stomach lightly brushing Wolf’s torso. The sumo-pilot looked down at him, hands on his hips, bending forward and smiling maliciously. Who knew payback could feel this good the second time around?     “How does it feel to get involved with a long-forgotten civilization?” Fox teased the head of Star Wolf, too dizzy to properly respond. “This must be everything you ever wanted.”     Standing back up, eyeing his servants and vice-versa, Fox counted down from three with loud, guttural grunts, Wolf unable to free himself from the barricade of bellies as they all barreled into him.
     BWUMP!!!
Three bellies simultaneously squashed Wolf, his spirit all but leaving him in this singular instant so fast that the tribe could have sworn they saw it fly back to the stars where it came from. Alas, the lupine stood hardly conscious, his head spinning like that bright cosmic sea. Fox ushered the servants away as he closer approached Wolf, wondering how he remained upright.     “I- I plea… mercy.” Wolf woozily let escape from his lips, falling back onto the floor, looking up at a merciless Fox.     “You’re not going anywhere this time, Wolf.” The Yokozuna told him, turning around and waddling a few paces forward. “I’ll have you right where I want you~.”     Cementing his fate, Fox bent his knees and channeled all the strength that flowed through both his body and the necklace, its jewel glowing brighter. Once he felt it all manifest so potently, he leapt backwards into the air, his giant rump plummeting directly atop Wolf with incredulous speed. Such tremendous force could be felt for miles, a faint Wolf-shaped crater in the ground memorializing this momentous occasion, the night the Yokozuna defeated this menace to the planet Sumor. The tribe cheered and applauded, running up to Fox and helping him up, the pleased sumo-pilot looking back and seeing the lupine wedged deep between his doughy cheeks. Trapped, Wolf felt like a towel that had been forgotten by its user, joining Fox’s mawashi in firmly curving around that vast, fat behind.     “I think I’ll keep you like this for the rest of my vacation.” Fox informed his squirming rival. “You’ll make for a fine toy. Wouldn’t you say back there, Wolf?”     No response came his way, but what choice did the lupine have?     “Feast ready!” The village elder shouted from the top of his lungs, pushing through the crowd and towards Fox, all eyes gravitating onto him with their growing appetites.     He stood right before the sumo-pilot’s belly, leaning and planting his hand against it as he caught his breath, all while Fox promptly watched him from where he stood. Seconds later, the elder stood back up, senses regained, taking note of Wolf from directly behind the red fox, leaning to his right to see the top of his grey-furred head smooshing against Fox’s sizeable tail.     “Yokozuna victory… Yokozuna eat!” The elder told Fox once he stood straight back up, poking his gut as though this was more than mere suggestion. “Tribe wants you big and strong.”
     GRRRRRGGLLLL- GLRRRRPPP…
The timing could not be more perfect. Peckish cravings were on the verge of giving in to outright starvation. Fox could not be more grateful for not only these enormous meals on a daily basis, but finding himself tethered to a place he now called home.     “Alright, fellas. Let’s eat!” Fox enthusiastically shouted to the tribe, walking over to seat himself around the firepit as everyone else cheered and followed suit, Wolf a guest of honour and a comfy pillow.     Deep into the night, the sumo-foxes and their mighty Yokozuna feasted until they felt fit to burst, the feast to end all feasts despite breakfast in the morning. Many courses were brought out and passed around the circle of sumos, everyone having their share of delicious cuisine, meats, and fresh planet produce as though they were sampling everything, the portions far greater than any taste-testing session. With every bite, crunch, chew, and swallow, Fox could feel his stomach fill majestically, softly grumbling and gurgling the more he stuffed himself silly. Although the tribe themselves ate plentifully, they struggled to take their eyes off of Fox, watching him guzzle down everything passed his way, prideful as can be, leaving not a single scrap untouched to satiate the hunger he had stirred from his swift act of delivered punishment. The result of said act, Wolf could only squirm around in his new home between Fox’s buttcheeks, being flattened with each passing hour that the sumo-pilot remained seated. Air was scarce. He could hardly move. And that blasted tail kept brushing against his head as though hellbent on giving him unending noogies. Even with everyone looking elsewhere, the fact that he was effectively pinned between the rough ground and a soft place within Fox’s rear prevented Wolf from going anywhere no matter how hard he persisted, hearing endless talk and laughter, eating and drinking abundant, muffled groans from the enraged lupine getting confused for the growls of Fox’s stomach.     Once he managed to eat his weight in food once again, Fox let out a long, trembling exhale, breathing carefully for he felt the rumbling in his churning stomach build fast and powerfully, smirking down at it, knowing what was next. The tribe took quick notice of this, anticipation equally welling, all of them leaning forwards and facing the sumo-pilot. Across plentiful seconds, Fox braced for the impact of sweet release. He felt a powerful burst of digestive gases surge up his stomach, leading up his esophagus and making for the exit, sitting upright to prepare for it all.
     BUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRPPH!!
His lengthy, thunderous belch caused the fire to soar upward ever-so briefly, both spectacles causing the tribe to break out into a round of enthusiastic applause, impressed by the unending talent from the Yokozuna. Fox looked around the sizeable circle of foxes, absorbing their praises with shimmering pride.     After dinner, a comfy bed awaited the Yokozuna as he waddled back into his private hut, bending over to fit through the entrance as though showing off his new prize to the other foxes. Wolf could barely see them jeer over his humiliating predicament, Fox’s large and lengthy tail brushing his smothered head and torso from excitedly wagging. The sumo-pilot let the tribe take in the sight of his claimed trophy before disappearing into the hut, truly joyous, waving for his servants to follow him in, already knowing how to spend the rest of the night. Soon enough, Fox allowed himself to fall backwards onto his bed, his belly jostling like mad while his rump dug into the makeshift mattress, Wolf moaning as he squished deeply into it. Once settled in, he watched his servants enter the hut, both foxes standing side by side and before their master in his coveted bed, a mischievous look stretching upon his face.     “Come on, boys.” Fox beckoned his servants, raising his right hand and smacking his belly, indicating what he desired from them. “What are you waiting for? Show me what you can do in the ring~.”     The sumo-pilot outstretched both stubby arms much like his smile, watching his servants look at one another with the same infectious mischief inflicted onto them by their Yokozuna. At once with weighty majesty, they leapt forward onto Fox, grunting towards their master who embraced the doughy balls of fluffy white fat that plopped onto him like two bouldering snowballs. He felt the sensation of being flattened ravage his rotund figure, the servants’ bellies making impact on each side of him. The hut and everything in the immediate vicinity shook violently, ranging from the pool-water sloshing manically to the food storage shaking tremendously, partially falling apart in the process. Even Wolf found himself submerged further between Fox’s buttcheeks from the pair of bellyflops above, his pitiful moans going completely unheard, buried by thousands of pounds of heft combined. Such consequential destruction mattered not to Fox, feeling his servants’ guts slam into him with strong adoration for their wearer of the necklace. Soon after, the two bright-white foxes heaved their bodies around to lay on their backs, the bed creaking noisily, both bellies pressing into Fox’s hips, their thick necks turning to look at him as they all laid together. Meanwhile, Wolf could hear their laughter right above, the foxes basking in the glorious moment of their relaxation while he remained trapped in his padded prison, longing for the day he would be freed from his confines.     “You guys sure know how to put on a show.” Fox praised his servants, caressing their faces with each of his hands. “Stay with me. We’ll all be warm together.”     And warm they were.     The three sumo-foxes cuddled in bed together, their stomachs softly churning from a feast well devoured. As sleep fell upon Fox McCloud, he reflected upon the immensity of his recent endeavours, finding his place among a tribe once forgotten, surrounded by villagers and a smothered Wolf, the lupine now a part of his heavenly vacation; a vacation he never wanted to end.
