"Arson, burglary, aggravated assault, murder, mass murder, treason, weapon possession, weapon trafficking, weapon theft, robbery, trespassing, hijacking, torture, mental torture, drug trafficking, formation of a terrorist group, imprisonment…" The psychologist’s voice trembled slightly as she read off the list of charges, the cold light flickering above. She was sitting on the far edge of her chair, leaning just enough to maximize the distance between herself and the man across the table.A straitjacket was squeezing the man's body. His eyes, black and hollow, followed her every movement. A faint twitch curled his lips upward—a smile that didn't belong to a human being. Her eyes darted nervously back to the paper, refusing to meet the figure slouched in the chair. "And you’ve been diagnosed with schizophrenia and multiple personality disorder," she finished, her voice barely a whisper. The silence that followed was suffocating, a thick, heavy thing pressing down on her chest. Then came the laugh. It was low, like it came from deep within Sasuke’s chest, building until it burst free in a manic, twisted sound, causing the psychologist to flinch. It wasn’t human—it was the kind of sound you’d expect to hear crawling out of a grave. She could almost feel the dark amusement bleeding out of him, infecting the space between them. Her grip on the clipboard tightened until her knuckles turned white."I had a bad day," Sasuke whispered, his voice raw, each word dripping with mockery, as if the crimes were nothing more than a game. His skin was pale, the veins on his neck visible, his eyes shadowed by sleepless nights and the weight of madness. "You—people don't—no one commits mass murder because they had a bad day!" Her words stumbled out, panicked, unprofessional. She knew she’d lost control. "You’re not… you’re not human. You’re a—""A monster?" Sasuke finished for her, his voice curling around the word like a snake tightening around prey. "Monsters are real." His head tilted at an unnatural angle. "But I wonder… can you really recognize one when you see it? Maybe... you're more familiar with monsters than you realize."His eyes—cold, dark—locked onto hers, and for a brief moment, the room seemed to shrink. Her heart raced as if he had crawled into her mind, twisting her thoughts. She regretted looking up. Every instinct screamed at her to break eye contact, to look away, but she couldn’t. His gaze was magnetic, trapping her like an animal before its predator. A bead of sweat rolled down the back of her neck. "L-let’s move on to y-your medication," she stuttered, pulling the pills from the small box in her pocket, her hands trembling. She placed them on the table, her throat dry.Sasuke’s eyes never left her. "Pills," he said softly, almost gently. "Such little things, aren't they? They want to stuff my mind with them… keep me numb… keep me quiet." His smile faded, replaced with something darker, it was as if he was a different person. "But I don’t want to be quiet."Sasuke’s eyes slid down to the pills, then back up to her face. “I can't take them," he said, his voice almost sweet. "Not with my hands like this. You’ll have to help me."Her skin crawled. She wanted to refuse, to call the guards, to get out, but she was trapped by protocol. This was her job.Her heart pounded in her ears. Slowly, with shaking hands, she reached for the pills and approached him. When she reached out to place the pills near his mouth, Sasuke' moved like a snake. His teeth sank into her finger, the sharp crack of bone snapping under pressure. The pain hit instantly. Her scream erupted as she felt the flesh tear.Blood sprayed across Sasuke’s face, dripping from his lips as he bit down harder. She tried to pull her hand away, but he held fast, gnawing on the bone, grinding it between his teeth as if trying to remember the taste. Her vision blurred with pain and panic, the room spinning. The wet sound of her finger tearing from her hand was almost lost beneath her own pain. Finally, the guards burst in, batons swinging, smashing into Sasuke’s face and head. But even as they beat him, his laughter never stopped. His teeth released her mangled finger, the bloody chunk falling limply to the floor with a wet slap.━━━━━━They strapped Sasuke to the electric chair in the shock therapy room, the heavy leather straps biting into his wrists and ankles. His head lolled back, blood smeared across his face, still grinning, still laughing."You like this, don’t you?" one guard snarled, tightening the straps with rough jerks. "Freak."Sasuke’s head lifted slightly, bloodied lips curling into a grin. "I love it."One of the guards, unable to stomach his arrogance, punched Sasuke hard in the face. Blood dripped from Sasuke’s mouth, but he only licked his lips, savoring the taste. The electric shock came suddenly, the violent jolt causing his body to spasm, muscles contracting painfully. His body jerked violently, and the smell of burning flesh filled the air.And yet… Sasuke laughed. The guards exchanged nervous glances. The machine buzzed and hissed, filling the air with its sound, but it was drowned out by Sasuke’s laughter. He convulsed in the chair, laughing even harder with each pulse of electricity, his eyes rolling back into his skull."More," he hissed, his voice garbled and broken. "Give me more."━━━━━━Back in his cell, the silence was unnerving. The darkness seemed thicker, more oppressive, as if it was waiting to swallow him whole.Sasuke sat in the middle of the cell, the tray of food untouched beside him. He was deep in thoughts, in pain. "Leave me alone... don't..."The small slot in the door opened with a metallic clang, and a guard’s voice came through, breaking him out of his thoughts. "You get a new doctor tomorrow. They say this one’s your last chance. Treat him well, or you’ll be done."Sasuke didn’t move. The shadows seemed to whisper to him, crawling over his skin like cold fingers. His smile returned slowly, wicked and sharp. His mind whirred, filling with dark thoughts and twisted ideas."Tomorrow," he murmured to his other self, "will be beautiful."
2: Threshold
"They’re trying to kill you!" A voice echoed down the dimly lit office hallway. The door was slightly open, just enough for the flickering light to cast long shadows that seemed to creep along the floor. Inside, Sakura stood, arms crossed, her voice sharp with fear. "We’re giving you a promotion," she mimicked their boss, her tone dripping with sarcasm and frustration. "Why the hell did you accept this job, Naruto?! It’s Sasuke Uchiha we’re talking about! Getting near him is a death sentence!"Naruto let out a chuckle, the sound forced, like he was trying to convince himself more than her. "Thanks for worrying, Sakura, but come on—I'm fine. I’m pretty confident in myself. This is my chance to prove that I can help someone no one else can. I can finally do something big, make a real difference. I won’t let this slip away."He was busy packing his things, his fingers moving quickly. The last of the papers disappeared into the cardboard box, but there was a weight in the room that wasn’t so easily packed away.Sakura’s eyes bore into him, not blinking. "I know you, Naruto. You always want to save people, but this… this is different. Sasuke is... he is broken." Her voice trembled. "I’ve heard the stories, seen the files. People don’t come back the same from working with him. Some don’t come back at all." Her eyes flicked toward the papers Naruto was clutching—a list of gruesome crimes, their ink smudged from being handled so many times, they seemed to bleed.Naruto's smile faltered for a fraction of a second, but he quickly brushed it off, his laughter louder this time, a little too loud. "You worry too much, Sakura. Boss already decided. I start tomorrow. I’ve read all the reports. I can handle this."Sakura sighed, a heavy sound, like the weight of the world was pressing down on her chest. "Just… promise me you’ll be careful. Don’t get too close to him. He’ll ruin you." Her voice dropped to a whisper. "Don’t let him in."Naruto waved her off with a grin that didn’t reach his eyes. "Yeah, yeah. I’ll be fine." He pulled her into a hug, his hand gripping her back tightly, as if trying to reassure both of them. But even as he smiled, the cold air of the office seemed to seep into his skin, his heart pounding harder than it should. They carried his things to his car together, but the silence between them was thick, oppressive. The headlights flickered on, cutting through the growing darkness, and Naruto drove off into the night, leaving the warmth of Sakura's concern behind.━━━━━━The road stretched endlessly before him, an isolated path cutting through the landscape. For hours, Naruto drove in silence, the weight of isolation pressing down on him as the city faded into the distance. There were no signs of life. Just the road, the trees, and the endless expanse of darkness ahead. As he approached the asylum, the road seemed to close in, as if the landscape itself was trying to swallow him whole. The towering structure loomed in the distance. Only the weak, flickering lights on either side of the tall, rusted gate provided any light. The asylum looked less like a building and more like a beast waiting to devour him.Naruto parked his car, stepping out into the night. His breath hung in the air, cold and heavy. The silence was unnatural, suffocating. Not even the wind dared disturb the uneasy calm. The gate groaned open slowly, like a dying thing. One of the guards stepped forward, his face a mask of disinterest. His eyes were hollow, his voice flat and dead. "How can I help you?""I’m Naruto Uzumaki, the new psychiatrist," Naruto said, trying to keep his voice steady, though the feeling of being watched creeped at him.The guard’s gaze flicked over him, lifeless and unblinking. "We’ve been expecting you." His words sounded more like a warning than a greeting. "Before I let you in, I need to search your bag. Make sure you aren’t carrying anything… dangerous." His lips curled into a slight, joyless smirk, as if the very idea of safety in this place was a cruel joke.Naruto nodded, his skin prickling as the guard patted him down. After what felt like an eternity, the gate creaked open, and Naruto stepped inside. The tall door at the front of the asylum opened with a hiss, a woman in white stepped out to greet him. She looked worn, her skin pale, with deep bags under her eyes, as though sleep had long ago abandoned her. Her hair, once tied back, hung limp. The flickering lights above cast shadows beneath her eyes, making her face look almost dead. "I’m Ino," she said, her voice devoid of emotion, as if whatever joy or warmth she once had had been drained away by the asylum. "I’ll show you around."Naruto offered a smile, but it felt fragile. "Nice to meet you, Ino. I’m Naruto." He forced enthusiasm into his voice, trying to ignore the chill in the air, the creeping sense of dread that had settled deep in his bones.Ino turned without a word, her steps slow and deliberate, like someone marching to their execution. Naruto followed, each step taking him deeper into the belly of the asylum.━━━━━━The halls of the asylum were a labyrinth of dimly lit corridors, each one more oppressive than the last. The walls seemed to close in, the dark passageways stretching on forever, each corner hiding something unseen, something waiting. The lights flickered, casting everything in a sickly, yellow glow, making the air feel thick, like the asylum itself was suffocating under the weight of the lives trapped within it.Naruto could hear the whispers of the patients behind the walls, low murmurs that sounded like distant screams, their voices scraping at the edge of his mind. Shadows moved at the corners of his vision, fleeting and fast, but whenever he turned his head, there was nothing there. Just the endless walls and the cold, silent air.Ino moved silently ahead of him, her steps never faltering, but Naruto could see the tension in her shoulders, the way her hands twitched at her sides. She never looked back. Finally, they reached his room. It was small, suffocating, with a single bed pressed against the wall. The window was barred, the walls stained with something dark and old. The smell of bleach mixed with something more metallic and rotten that clung to the back of Naruto’s throat.Exhaustion weighed heavy on him, but even as he collapsed onto the bed, his mind raced. He closed his eyes, but the darkness didn’t feel any safer. Somewhere in the distance, he swore he could hear laughter—cold, sharp, and inhuman. His heart quickened, a cold sweat breaking out across his skin.Tomorrow, he would meet Sasuke Uchiha. He hoped, prayed even, that everything would go well. But deep down, in the pit of his stomach, Naruto knew that something was already very, very wrong.
3: Cocoon
Naruto sat on the edge of his seat, eyes bright with anticipation, though his nerves buzzed beneath the surface. He hadn’t slept all night—his mind couldn’t stop racing about today. Meeting the Sasuke Uchiha was like walking into the lion’s den. The asylum’s twisting hallways had disoriented him, forcing him to ask for directions at almost every turn, but now, finally, he was here. The room was cold, the air thick with tension, but Naruto felt... ready. His thoughts were interrupted by the creaking of the door. His heart raced, but his excitement deflated when a stern-faced security guard stepped inside. "Sasuke Uchiha will be brought in shortly," the guard said in a dry, monotone voice. Naruto's heartbeat quickened again at the name.“But there are rules. Don't get too close to him. If things get... dangerous, scream. We’ll be outside. These walls aren’t soundproof.” It was as if he was warning Naruto about something far worse than just a patient.Naruto swallowed hard and nodded. The guard left, and the room went back into an eerie silence, the dim light flickering slightly. Then, the door opened again. This time, the air in the room seemed to drop several degrees. Two guards entered, flanking a figure that practically radiated danger. Sasuke Uchiha was brought in, restrained in a straitjacket, his head down, black hair blocking his face. Naruto’s breath caught in his throat as he felt the man's presence before he even saw his eyes. The guards roughly shoved Sasuke into the chair across from him and left without a word, the door clanking shut behind them. The silence that followed was suffocating. Sasuke sat still, his head hung low, his aura creeping across the room like a shadow. Naruto cleared his throat, trying to break the ice. “My name is Naruto, I’ll be your new therapist from now on, and I hope we can get along—”His sentence was cut off by a sudden, low chuckle from Sasuke. The sound slithered across the room, curling around Naruto's spine and making his skin crawl. Sasuke slowly lifted his head, and Naruto’s breath caught in his throat. Sasuke’s eyes were dark, gleaming with something playful and sinister all at once, and that smirk—so casual yet so predatory—spread across his face.Naruto blinked, his mind momentarily blank. He had to admit, there was something captivating about Sasuke. It was disorienting—he was dangerous, but... something else too. Handsome. Too handsome.Sasuke's smirk deepened as he caught Naruto staring. “I think you’re supposed to be checking me out mentally, not physically, doctor.” His voice was smooth, laced with amusement, dripping with arrogance.Naruto felt the heat rise to his cheeks. “E-excuse me... that won’t happen again.” He coughed, embarrassed, avoiding Sasuke’s gaze. But he could feel those eyes burning into him, playful but sharp, like a cat toying with its prey.“How was your day?” Naruto asked, his voice a little too chipper, trying to regain control of the session.Sasuke leaned back in his chair, the faintest twitch of amusement playing at his lips. “How was your day?” he shot back, mimicking Naruto’s tone with mock curiosity.Naruto blinked. His patients didn’t usually ask him questions. He hesitated for a moment, then smiled awkwardly. “Uh... it’s been alright. Didn’t sleep well, though.”Sasuke chuckled, low and smooth, but there was an edge to it. “Oh, doctor... you’ll get used to that. This place... it doesn’t sleep. Not really. The nightmares here keep you company.” His words lingered in the air, too casual, as if he were speaking about an old friend rather than something ominous.Naruto’s stomach churned at the casual cruelty in Sasuke’s voice, as if he knew more about the asylum’s horrors than anyone could put into words. Pushing through the unease, he looked down at his notes.“How long have you been in here?” Naruto asked, trying to steer the conversation back into familiar territory. Sasuke’s expression shifted slightly.“Long enough.” His response was flat, devoid of emotion, more distant now. Naruto could almost feel the weight of those words—like Sasuke had been imprisoned not just by the walls, but by something deeper, more sinister.Naruto scribbled in his notepad, though his hand trembled slightly. “It says here that you suffer from schizophrenia and multiple personality disorder. How do you... manage that? Do you see things often?”Sasuke's eyes flashed with dark amusement, and his grin returned, but this time, it was sharper, more dangerous. “See things? Doctor, we all see things here. Every single one of us. But I’m the only one they call crazy.” He leaned forward just slightly, his voice dropping to a whisper. “The truth is... we all deserve to be locked up. Even you. It’s just that they haven’t figured you out yet.”A chill ran down Naruto’s spine. Sasuke’s tone had shifted, as if something—or someone—else had taken over. His voice was suddenly softer, almost vulnerable. “It’s hard... living with so many voices in your head. So many faces...”And then, just as quickly as it had appeared, the vulnerability was gone, replaced by laugh. “But you already knew that, didn’t you, doctor?”Naruto felt his throat tighten, his pulse quickening again. Sasuke’s mood swings were... unnerving, like the flick of a switch. “Doctor...” Sasuke’s voice slipped into a teasing sing-song. “Isn’t it time for my medication?” The smirk returned, wider, playful, but with something far darker underneath.“O-oh, right,” Naruto stuttered as he hurriedly fumbled through his bag for the pill, his fingers clumsy. He had been warned not to get too close, but Sasuke’s cold gaze left him no choice, as if he was pulling him closer.“You’ll have to feed it to me, of course,” Sasuke drawled lazily, leaning back in the chair, his posture relaxed but his eyes gleaming with amusement. “Unless you’ve figured out how I can pick it up with my teeth.”Naruto swallowed nervously, stepping toward him with the pill in hand. Sasuke’s eyes tracked his every movement, drinking in his discomfort, feeding off it.Naruto’s hand hovered near Sasuke’s mouth, the pill in his shaking fingers. Sasuke opened his mouth slowly, eyes still locked onto Naruto’s. As the pill touched his lips, Sasuke’s tongue flicked out for just a moment, brushing against Naruto’s skin, as if he wanted to taste him. The psychiatrist recoiled slightly, his heart hammering in his chest.Sasuke swallowed the pill, his smile returning with a disturbing calmness. “That wasn’t so hard, was it?” he purred, his voice dripping with amusement.“That’ll be the end of our session today,” Naruto managed to say, retreating quickly back to his side of the table.Sasuke’s grin didn’t fade as the guards entered the room, ready to escort him away. “Already?” he asked, his tone mockingly disappointed. “I was just starting to enjoy myself. But don’t worry, doctor... we’ll see each other again tomorrow.”As the guards dragged him out, Sasuke turned his head, catching Naruto’s eye one last time. He winked, slow and deliberate, his smile twisting into something almost predatory. “Sweet dreams, Naruto.”The door slammed shut behind them, and Naruto stood frozen in the cold room, the silence pressing in on him. Sasuke’s presence lingered, leaving the air heavy, like a shadow that refused to go. And as Naruto finally exhaled, he couldn’t shake the feeling that something dark had already begun to worm its way into his mind.
4: Control
Naruto woke up early, his mind restless as he prepared for his next session with Sasuke. He spent extra time in front of the mirror today, smoothing his hair, and even putting on perfume, though he wasn’t quite sure why or who he was trying to impress, there was something inside him that urged him to look... presentable. He couldn’t shake the feeling of nervous anticipation that had been growing ever since his last meeting with Sasuke. The unsettling energy between them lingered, tugging at his thoughts even when he was alone. It was confusing, uncomfortable—and yet, something about it kept pulling him back.As he made his way through the asylum’s cold halls, he had to stop twice to ask for directions, even though this should’ve been routine by now. His mind was clouded, he couldn’t focus. When he arrived at the door, two security guards stood there, staring at him with their usual stern expressions. Naruto noticed immediately—Sasuke wasn’t with them. Usually, they would be dragging Sasuke in like a dangerous animal, but today it was different. One of the guards spoke up, his voice gruff, "Sasuke’s already waiting for you inside. The freak wouldn’t stop begging us to bring him here early. Watch yourself. He's in one of those moods again."Naruto tried to ignore the rude tone, and gave them a nervous smile. "Thank you..." He hated how casually everyone spoke about Sasuke, as if he were some kind of rabid animal, something to be feared and despised. They never saw what Naruto saw—the intelligence, the charm hidden behind those dark eyes. They only saw the monster. But maybe... they were wrong. Maybe Sasuke was getting better, and they just didn’t care enough to notice."Or maybe," a small voice whispered in the back of his mind, "you’re lying to yourself."With shaky breath, Naruto opened the door.Inside, Sasuke sat at the table, his gaze already locked on Naruto the moment he stepped in. His presence filled the space, even though he sat perfectly still at the table. The tension in the air was palpable, thick enough to choke on."Good morning, doctor," Sasuke purred, his voice dripping with amusement. "How did you sleep?"Naruto took his seat, fumbling with his notebook. "N-not too well. A lot of work," he mumbled, forcing himself to focus. But it was difficult—Sasuke’s gaze was like a weight pressing down on him, pulling him under."And you, Mr. Uchiha? How did you sleep?" he asked, trying to keep things professional despite the tension in the air.Sasuke’s laughter echoed softly through the room. "Let’s drop the formalities, doctor. I feel like we’re closer than that by now." His voice was playful. "I slept quite well, thanks to you. Your company was... relaxing." Something about it felt... wrong. Too intimate. Too knowing.Naruto’s stomach twisted, but he forced himself to write down the response, trying to keep his mind on task. "That’s... good. Do you usually have trouble sleeping?"Sasuke’s smirk faded, his expression darkening for just a moment. "The voices keep me company most nights," he said, his voice shifting, growing more distant—almost like a different person entirely. "But last night, they were quiet for once. I suppose they like you."Naruto’s pen faltered for a second. There it was again—that shift. He wondered how many versions of Sasuke he was actually speaking to in each session. He tried to push past it, focusing on his notes, but Sasuke wasn’t going to let him off so easily."Why so far away?" Sasuke’s voice was soft, teasing. "We’re friends now, aren’t we? There’s no need for all this distance."Naruto blinked, caught off guard. "It’s… it’s the rules," he stammered. "I’m not supposed to get too close to patients."Sasuke scoffed, leaning back in his chair. "Rules are for the boring. You don’t seem boring, doctor. Come on, being a bit closer won’t hurt anyone, will it?"Sasuke let out a low laugh, shaking his head. "Rules are chains for small minds, doctor. Don’t tell me you’re as dull as the rest of them." He leaned forward slightly, his dark eyes gleaming with something sharp, predatory. "Come closer. I won’t bite."Naruto hesitated. His pulse quickened, every instinct screaming at him to stay where he was. But Sasuke’s voice was like a magnet, pulling him in. Against his better judgment, he stood up and slowly leaned over the table, closing the distance between them.Sasuke’s eyes flickered with satisfaction as he leaned in even closer, his lips brushing the shell of Naruto’s ear as he whispered, "You smell good. Dolling yourself up just for me, doctor?"Naruto’s throat tightened, a wave of heat flooding his face. "N-no... it’s just—""Don’t lie to me," Sasuke interrupted, his voice suddenly cold, menacing. "I hate liars."Naruto flinched, his heart racing in his chest. "I’m sorry," he whispered, his voice barely audible.Sasuke’s eyes glittered with amusement. "Apologies mean nothing. You’ll have to make it up to me."Naruto's eyes widened. "How?""Convince your boss to get rid of this damned straitjacket for our sessions," Sasuke demanded, his tone dark and commanding.Naruto blinked, shocked. "B-but—""No buts, doctor." Sasuke’s voice was soft, but there was an edge of steel in it now, sharp and dangerous. "You trust me, don’t you? You know I won’t hurt you."Naruto’s hands were trembling now, his mind racing. He knew he should say no. He had to say no. But something inside him, some strange, overwhelming compulsion, made him nod instead. "I’ll... I’ll talk to him."Sasuke leaned back, his smirk returning. "Good boy."━━━━━━Over the following weeks, Naruto found himself in his boss’s office, presenting his case for Sasuke. They had argued, the tension thick between them as his boss stared at him in disbelief."Have you lost your mind?! Removing that jacket is as good as handing Sasuke a weapon!" his boss had exclaimed. But Naruto had defended Sasuke blindly, insisting that his mental health was improving, citing every little piece of progress he could find. Slowly, his boss had relented, though his expression was one of deep suspicion. "Fine. But it’s on your head if anything goes wrong."And now, here they were again—Naruto sitting nervously at the table, and Sasuke across from him, without the straitjacket this time.Naruto swallowed hard, his hands trembling as Sasuke slowly stood up, his movements graceful and deliberate, like a predator stalking its prey. For the first time, Naruto could see the scars on Sasuke’s arms—deep, ugly marks that spoke of violence, of pain, of a history too dark to understand."Isn’t this much better, doctor?" Sasuke murmured as he walked around the table, his fingers brushing lightly against Naruto’s hair. "No more barriers between us."Naruto stiffened, his breath quickening. "I-I guess..."Sasuke’s fingers trailed down, brushing against Naruto’s cheek, then under his chin, tilting his face up to meet his gaze. "You don’t have to be so nervous. I promised I wouldn’t hurt you, didn’t I?"Naruto’s lips parted, his heart pounding in his chest. He tried to speak, but the words wouldn’t come. He was trapped, caught in Sasuke’s gaze, drowning in the darkness of it.Sasuke’s thumb brushed against Naruto’s bottom lip, soft and slow. "So obedient," he whispered, his voice like a caress. "But I think you can do more for me."Naruto’s pulse quickened, his thoughts spiraling. "W-what do you mean?"Sasuke leaned in, their faces inches apart now. His breath ghosted over Naruto’s lips as he spoke, "Make our therapy sessions longer. Much longer."Naruto blinked, confused. "Why?"Sasuke’s smirk deepened, his voice a low, dangerous whisper. "You’ll see soon enough."━━━━━━In the end, Naruto had gone back to his boss yet again, pushing for longer sessions. More time with Sasuke. The other staff were shocked, some even impressed by Naruto’s persistence, but Naruto wasn’t sure why he was doing it anymore. There was something strange about how easily he obeyed Sasuke’s commands. But it didn’t stop there. Sasuke had one more demand—privacy. A soundproof room for their sessions. When Naruto had asked why, Sasuke had simply smiled and said, "Some things are best kept between us, doctor."And Naruto, despite every alarm bell ringing in his head, had obeyed.Just as he always did.
5: Subversion
Months had passed, and something about Naruto had changed. The more time he spent with Sasuke, the more disoriented and detached from reality he felt. His once sharp mind now clouded, plagued by strange shadows in the corner of his vision. They moved when they shouldn't, whispers echoed down empty halls. It was as if Sasuke’s presence was infecting him, warping his thoughts, slowly gnawing away at his sanity. Yet, he couldn’t stop. Sasuke’s pull was too strong.Sitting in the soundproof room, Naruto rubbed his eyes, feeling the familiar sense of tiredness creep in. Across from him, Sasuke leaned back in his chair, legs spread lazily, his dark eyes locked on Naruto. He’d been waiting for Naruto to speak, but there was an unnerving silence between them. Sasuke loved to stretch these moments, watching Naruto squirm."You know I hate it when you sit so far away, doctor," Sasuke’s voice cut through the air, cold and commanding."I’m sorry..." Naruto began, but Sasuke’s eyes narrowed."I hate apologies too." Sasuke’s tone was sharper this time, like a blade pressing against fragile skin. "Don’t apologize. Just... listen."Naruto’s mouth went dry, the words dying in his throat. The room felt like it was closing in on him, the walls pressing closer. His mind felt unfocused, distant, like he was walking through a fog. Sasuke had a way of making everything around him feel less real, as if Naruto was in a dream—or a nightmare."Stand up," Sasuke ordered, leaning back in his chair, his body language dripping with control. "Come closer."Naruto hesitated for a moment, his stomach twisting into knots. He knew he should stay where he was, keep the distance the rules demanded. But his body wasn’t listening. Almost as if on autopilot, he stood up and slowly walked toward Sasuke, each step echoing in the back of his mind like a warning.Sasuke watched him closely, a smirk playing at the corner of his lips. Naruto stopped just in front of him, the tension between them thick."Always so obedient, doctor," Sasuke whispered, his voice low, dripping with something dark and possessive. "I think you’ve earned a reward."Before Naruto could process what he meant, Sasuke’s cold hand snaked around his wrist and pulled him forward with surprising force. Naruto stumbled, landing on Sasuke’s lap, the sudden intimacy shocking. His pulse quickened, confusion and fear swirling in his chest, but Sasuke didn’t allow him a moment to resist. He closed the distance between them, pressing his lips hard against Naruto’s.Naruto’s eyes widened in shock, but his body betrayed him. Slowly, his hands moved to Sasuke’s neck, pulling him closer. The kiss was far from gentle—it was hungry, as if Sasuke was devouring him, claiming him. The world outside the room seemed to dissolve, leaving only the two of them, trapped in this dangerous exchange.Sasuke’s hands gripped Naruto’s waist tightly, almost painfully, making sure there was no space left between them. Naruto felt suffocated, like Sasuke was consuming him from the inside out, and yet, he didn’t pull away. He couldn’t. The feeling was overwhelming, intoxicating. When they finally broke apart, Sasuke stared into Naruto’s eyes, his gaze dark and intense, filled with an unreadable emotion. Naruto’s breath came in shaky gasps, his thoughts a blur.Sasuke leaned down, his lips brushing Naruto’s neck, trailing up to his ear, where he whispered, "Doctor... prepare yourself for next time. I fear I won’t be able to hold back."A chill ran down Naruto’s spine. His heart hammered in his chest as Sasuke’s words sank in. "W-what do you mean?" Naruto stammered, his voice weak, but Sasuke only chuckled darkly."Touch yourself," Sasuke said, his hand trailing dangerously low on Naruto’s thigh. The command lingered in the air, heavy and suffocating. Before Naruto could react, the door behind them swung open. He jumped off Sasuke’s lap, his face burning with embarrassment. Two security guards entered the room, their expressions stern."Session’s over," one of them said, their voice flat and emotionless, like they had seen too much to care.Naruto stood there, frozen, as they took Sasuke out of the room, chains clinking softly. Just before they disappeared through the doorway, Sasuke shot Naruto a final look, his smirk dripping with satisfaction. That look sent a shiver down Naruto’s spine.━━━━━━Naruto lay in bed, staring up at the ceiling. The room was dark, save for the faint glow of the moon coming through the blinds. His mind raced, replaying every moment of the day over and over. Sasuke’s words echoed in his ears, haunting him."Prepare yourself for next time..."Naruto turned onto his side, trying to shake off the unease. His thoughts kept drifting back to that kiss. It wasn’t romantic or affectionate—it was predatory, like Sasuke was trying to devour him from the inside out. And yet... Naruto’s heart raced thinking about it, his skin still tingling where Sasuke’s hands had touched him. It felt wrong, deeply wrong, but there was something more underneath. Something seductive in Sasuke's darkness that he couldn’t quite explain.Naruto squeezed his eyes shut, but his mind wouldn’t let him rest. The flickers in his vision returned, dark shapes moving at the edges of his sight. He could swear he heard whispers from the shadows, soft and indistinct, like something lurking just out of reach. His breath quickened. He didn’t want to think about it, but his hand trailed down his body, as if controlled by some force beyond him. His fingers slipped under the waistband of his pants, the sensation of Sasuke’s voice in his ear, his breath on his skin, replaying in his mind. As he slowly inserted one finger in and out of his thight hole, soft moans left his lips, shaping Sasuke’s name.Just as he was about to put a second finger inside, something cold brushed against his ear—an icy whisper. His eyes shot open, heart pounding. He sat up, looking around the dark room. It was empty, yet he could feel something watching him.Naruto clutched the blanket, his skin crawling with fear, but there was something worse than the dread clawing at him. A small, twisted part of him wondered if this was exactly what Sasuke wanted.
6: Devour
Naruto stood in front of his mirror, his reflection a haunting reminder of how far he'd fallen. His eyes were shadowed by deep bags, his skin pale, and his hair a mess he barely recognized as his own. He rubbed his temples, trying to ignore the whispers, but they wouldn’t leave him. They had been growing louder, laced with Sasuke’s voice, telling him to do unspeakable things. Each night the words seemed to tighten around his mind, commanding him to destroy, to kill, to break. He had never felt so close to the edge of madness. His hands shook as he slipped on his work clothes, straightening his hair with fingers that could barely keep steady. It had become a ritual—looking good for Sasuke, as if it brought some normalcy in the chaos swallowing him whole. But the dark whispers never let him forget, he wasn’t the same anymore.Navigating the asylum had become an impossible task. Even after months, he still needed to ask for directions to Sasuke’s therapy room, and each wrong turn felt like walking deeper into a labyrinth designed to trap him forever. His paranoia fed the dread in his gut, making him wonder if he’d ever leave the asylum at all. When he finally reached the familiar door, his hand lingered on the handle, hesitating. He felt as though something was waiting for him on the other side—something darker than before.Stepping inside, Naruto was immediately startled. Sasuke was already there, seated in his chair, waiting like a predator that had been watching for hours. Naruto’s heart skipped. Something was wrong. The guards—there were no guards outside. He hadn’t seen them. The thought burrowed into his mind, gnawing at his sense of safety. How had Sasuke gotten into the room without them? The air felt heavy, suffocating, and Naruto’s mind scrambled for an explanation that wouldn’t terrify him. Maybe he just hadn’t been paying attention. Maybe he was too tired. But the moment he neared the table, Sasuke stood up in one swift, fluid motion, grabbing Naruto by the wrist with a strength that sent a jolt of fear through him. Before Naruto could react, his bag was thrown from his shoulder, and Sasuke’s hand slid around his waist, pulling their bodies close. His other hand found Naruto’s neck, fingers curling tight around it—not enough to hurt, but enough to assert control. Enough to remind Naruto who was in charge.Naruto’s breath caught in his throat as Sasuke tilted his head, eyes gleaming with something dark, something unspoken but deeply unsettling. “Did the shadows keep you awake, doctor?” Sasuke’s voice was like a low purr, but it was thick with mockery. Naruto’s knees weakened at how close they were, how Sasuke’s breath grazed his skin. “Y-yes…” Naruto stammered, barely able to get the word out. His voice was thin, his will eroding faster than he could hold onto it. He felt drained, as if Sasuke was feeding on him, consuming every piece of strength he had left.Sasuke’s lips twisted into a smirk, his grip tightening just enough to make Naruto feel small. “Don’t worry, Naruto,” he whispered, his voice turning sickeningly sweet, “You don’t have to do anything. Just lay still. Like a corpse.”Before Naruto could process the words, Sasuke’s grip around his waist tightened brutally, and with one swift motion, he bent Naruto over the table. Naruto’s heart raced with sudden panic, his breath hitching. His body was pinned down by Sasuke’s force, helpless beneath his grasp. He could feel Sasuke’s breath hot on his neck, teasing, as if enjoying every flicker of fear that pulsed through Naruto’s body. For a moment, time seemed to freeze. Naruto’s mind was spinning, trapped between the urge to fight back and the overwhelming exhaustion that kept him from doing anything at all. The world around him had narrowed into Sasuke’s presence—his touch, his voice, the oppressive weight of him pressing down."I’ve been waiting for this... You belong to me now."Naruto’s vision blurred at the edges as the room seemed to close in on him, walls shifting and warping in a way that made reality feel distorted. The whispers, the ones that had plagued him for nights, returned louder than ever, echoing Sasuke’s voice in his mind.
Obey.
Naruto's grip on sanity slipped further. His heart pounded in his chest, but his body remained still, as though paralyzed by the invisible chains Sasuke had wrapped around him. Sasuke's laughter—soft, almost affectionate—filled the air as he leaned down, his lips brushing against Naruto's ear. "You'll do whatever I tell you," Sasuke whispered, his words a promise as much as a command. He pressed their bodies together, their breath mingling in the cold air of the room.Sasuke's hand moved down slowly, deliberately, finding the zipper of Naruto’s pants. The metallic sound cut through the silence of the room, sharp and cold. Naruto’s pulse quickened as his pants fell to the floor, pooling around his ankles, exposing his vulnerability completely."Just like that," Sasuke whispered, lips brushing against Naruto’s ear. "Don’t move. Don’t say a word."After taking down Naruto's boxers, Sasuke removed his own and took his member into his hands, positioning it at Naruto's entrance. And without any warning, he thrust inside Naruto's narrow opening, causing him to scream out loud. "You wanted to know why I wanted a soundproof room doctor." With an excessive amount of energy, Sasuke pounded into Naruto, causing him to shudder. "For this exact reason." Sasuke remarked with a manic chuckle.Being under too much shock, Naruto was unable to move. He was just lying there, hunched over, and accepting everything Sasuke was giving him. ━━━━━━After Sasuke had finished with him, he pulled away, leaving Naruto trembling and feeling hollow. Something warm and slick trailed down Naruto’s thighs, a reminder of what had just happened, though he couldn’t bring himself to acknowledge it. Sweat clung to Naruto’s forehead, his hair sticking messily against his skin. His body felt overheated, drained—used in every sense of the word. Sasuke straightened up, a wicked smile curling on his lips. "Now I really know you inside and out," he said, chuckling darkly at his own twisted joke. Naruto didn’t respond, too numb to process anything but the heaviness in his limbs. Sasuke took his time adjusting Naruto’s messy appearance, pulling up his pants with careful movement, as if to erase any trace of what had happened. He brushed the damp hair from Naruto’s face, his touch disturbingly gentle."That was fun, wasn’t it?" Sasuke’s voice had a teasing edge, but when Naruto didn’t answer, his tone grew sharper. "I said, wasn’t it fun?"Naruto forced his lips to move, barely managing a breathless, "Y-yes." It came out so faint, almost swallowed by the room’s tension. "Good boy," Sasuke purred, satisfaction dripping from his voice. "Now go sit down." Naruto moved on unsteady legs, each step filled with silent pain, and sank into his chair, barely holding himself together as the guards came in right on time. "Session’s over," one of them announced flatly, like they always did, before dragging Sasuke out. Sasuke turned his head slightly, flashing a smirk at Naruto. "Can’t wait to see you tomorrow, doctor."Naruto watched him leave, the words echoing in the back of his mind, but his only concern now was surviving the walk back to his room without collapsing. 7: Corruption
Naruto walked into the room, each step feeling heavier than the last. The weight of his sleepless night clung to him, the whispers and dark shadows gnawing at the edges of his sanity. Every time he neared sleep, the whispers—sounding like Sasuke’s voice—urged him towards violence, dragging him further into a nightmarish he wish he could wake up from.He winced slightly from the lingering pain. His mind was filled with chaotic thoughts, struggling to forget the torment of the previous day. He desperately wanted to believe that one moment of his life wouldn’t destroy him, but it was an impossible feat. When the door creaked open, the familiar sight of Sasuke brought an unexpected jolt of fear rather than relief. Naruto’s hands trembled uncontrollably as Sasuke entered, his presence as unsettling as it was magnetic. As the guards left, Sasuke let out a cold laughter. "What’s wrong, doctor? You look like you’ve seen a ghost," he purred, his voice dripping with sinister amusement.Naruto tried to steady his breath, forcing out a response. "N-nothing’s wrong...""This will be our last session," Sasuke announced, his tone different, as if he were someone else entirely.Naruto’s eyes widened in disbelief. "W-what?" he stammered. The weight of Sasuke's words crashed over him like a cold wave. "I’m sane now, doctor. I’ll be out of this asylum soon, thanks to you," Sasuke said, his voice dripping with cruel amusement, as if mocking Naruto’s efforts and savoring the irony of their ill relationship.Naruto’s chest tightened. Despite everything he had to sacrifice, he had come to crave the connection, however unhealthy it might be. "W-we could be together," he said hesitantly, reaching for a sliver of hope. "Once I’m released, we—"Sasuke’s laugh was low and dismissive. "Sure, Naruto, if that's what you want." He turned his back and began walking toward the door.Naruto shot up from his seat, panic surging through him. "W-wait, where are you going?" he called out, desperation lacing his voice."Out. There’s nothing more to discuss," Sasuke replied coldly, as if their shared history was nothing more than a memory.Naruto’s frustration exploded. "Nothing left to say?! I gave myself to you, I obeyed you! You can’t just leave me now!" His voice was raw, the weight of his submission crashing down on him.Sasuke’s expression hardened. "You did all that of your own free will. I didn’t force you into anything. You knew what would happen," he said, his tone heartless.Naruto was left speechless, his mind racing as he watched Sasuke disappear through the door, leaving him alone in the silent room. Clenching his fists until his knuckles turned white, Naruto's heart pounded with a blend of heartbreak and fury.━━━━━━Once alone in his room, Naruto slammed the door shut and began pacing up and down. His hands gripped his messy hair as he roared in frustration. In a blind rage, he began throwing objects around, his movements frantic and destructive. Finally, with a violent swing, he shattered his mirror, the pieces scattering across the floor."You won’t leave me," he snarled at his own reflection, the darkness of his thoughts mirrored in the broken glass. Sasuke’s voice, like a twisted echo, whispered in his mind, "If you don’t want me to leave, do something about it."Naruto’s gaze fell on his bloodied fist, a sinister smile creeping onto his face. "I will," he vowed, his voice dripping with dark determination.━━━━━━As Sasuke left his room, a smile tugged at his lips. The air was thick with silence, calm settling over the asylum. The usual presence of guards was absent, but Sasuke wasn't surprised. He had always known this moment would come. Turning a corner, he came upon the carnage. Blood splattered the walls, pooling on the floor in thick, dark puddles. Bodies of the asylum staff and guards lay scattered, their eyes scooped out, and mouths frozen in twisted expressions. The scene was ugly, horrific to most—yet Sasuke’s smirk only grew. His dark eyes flicked over the corpses, not with shock or disgust, but with satisfaction. Each body was evidence of Naruto’s obedience, each body proof that he had followed Sasuke’s whispered commands. Everything Sasuke had planted in Naruto’s fragile mind, the relentless manipulation—had borne fruit in this brutal massacre. It was Naruto’s ultimate submission."I did it for you. Will you stay with me now?" came Naruto’s voice from behind, trembling with hope and madness. Sasuke turned, already knowing what he would see. There stood Naruto, drenched in blood, his clothes stained a deep crimson, the knife he had held now lying discarded on the floor. His hands, still trembling slightly, were painted with the lives he had taken. His eyes—once so full of doubt and fear—now reflected only a desperate, sick devotion.Sasuke’s smirk widened, satisfaction gleaming in his eyes as he stepped closer. His gaze swept over Naruto, taking in every detail of the blood-soaked man before him, the final product of his careful manipulation. He had broken Naruto down, piece by piece, until all that remained was a hollow shell willing to kill, willing to die, just to keep him near."Yes," Sasuke whispered, his voice a soft, dangerous promise. "Yes, I will."He pulled Naruto into a kiss, their lips meeting in a twisted show of affection. The scent of blood clung to them, mingling with the dark satisfaction that hung between them. When they parted, Sasuke brushed a thumb over Naruto’s cheek, wiping away a streak of blood as if it were nothing but a smudge of dirt."Come," Sasuke murmured, his voice full of cruel affection. "We’re leaving this place."Naruto’s eyes lit up, hope flickering behind the madness as he nodded eagerly. Sasuke led him down the bloody hallway, casually stepping over the bodies. Every step they took together felt like a final severance from the life they had known inside these walls.Outside, the night air was cool and thick with the scent of freedom, a stark contrast to the blood-drenched asylum they were leaving behind. Sasuke looked up at the dark sky, a smile curling his lips. Everything had gone exactly as he had planned.
