6:20pm The weather was already getting a little cold. Good thing you chose to wear a wool midi dress this morning. Nothing too casual and not too revealing. Didn´t want the Parents today at the school of your Children to start thinking badly of you when you picked them up like everyday. You´ve put on some music for your Kids in the living room while they were doing their homework because you know they will get bored if they´re sitting in silence. Because of this you can always calmly cook dinner for your lovely family.The bell ringing of the frontdoor of your house threw you out of your trance. Before turning around and being able to open the door your brunette little boy already ran to it "I´m going Mommy!" He takes any chance that he can get to not do his homework. Opening it stands his Dad and your Husband, Erwin Smith. While holding something behind his back with one hand he picks up his son with the other and greets him. "Hey Eren! Missed your Daddy that much?" He looked up at him with his big green eyes, giggling. " Of course I did, you will not believe what Armin did today at school, he..." Eren talked his Dad´s ears off while his younger Brother Armin was standing at their side looking embarassingly to the ground and also waiting hungrily for dinner. Letting down his oldest son, he happily walked up to his wife in the kitchen while their kids follow him.Kissing your neck from behind while having his free hand at your waist you turned around and held his Coat at the chest and smiled slighty and tired. " I´m back home Sweetheart. I missed you so much. Here I got you something!" Now holding the Bouquet of different coloured tulps, your favorite Flowers, infront of you giddily waiting for your answer. " Aww thank you so much baby. I love them. How was your day at work? Any news?" you say as you go on your tippy toes to kiss him on his lips. " Just the usual, like always. I´m just glad to finally be home. But I did see Hange on my way to get the flowers and had a little chat. I mean we didn´t see them in a long time." Now looking a little nervous to the left he said " I may or not have invited them to dinner today. I´m so sorry i should have called you before and tell you. Pleas don´t be mad at me. I didn´t think at the moment about that." Your eyes widened a little at that. Yes, it did already been a while since you saw them. Last time being the summer Party your Husband threw at your place. " Don´t be. I cooked enough Food don´t worry. Could you maybe please get the extra chair out of the garage for me?" He jokingly mimicked a military salute and held his right hand at his forehead. " Of course Commander Wife, anything for you."Smiling, you rolled your eyes at him and shooed him away. "Eren, Armin please pack your schoolbags for tomorrow if youre done with your homework. And don´t forget to wash your hands before sitting at the table!" While they ran off the doorbell rang again. You quickly fixed your hair and straightened out your hair.Opening the door a tall brunette was standing at the other side of the door, smiling lovingly down at your form. "Hi sweetie." "Hey, come in." You said, sending a smile to them back. They also gave you a Flower bouquet, bigger than the one from your man, of course also made out of tulips. " For you, My lady. Tryna keep up the Rivalry. Who knows maybe one day you decide to trust your heart instead of the expectations of others."Saying the last part quieter and more serious. " Stop it. Don´t say something like that around my family. I´m happy so what is your problem?" You say while lightly stabbing them in their rib and taking the bouquet. " .... Thank you.. come in."As Hange sits down you put both Bouquets in two vases with water. " Hangeee!!" Your Children yelled as they ran to their favorite visitor. They hold both boys up in the air at the same times and squeeze them to their body tightly, swinging them lightly from side to side. "My favorite little Monsters! How you two doing? School still fun?" Letting them go Eren said " School was never fun!" while pouting. " You only say that because your bad at school. Hange said school will only get harder the older we get so you should try and become better before its too late." That´s right Armin. And don´t forget, whenever any of you need help with school ask me and I´ll give you some extra training!" Turning to them you asked " Hange could you please place some dishes on the table?" "Of course, coming right up!" Now standing next to you while you still do some finishing touches to your food they slowly look at you from the side admiring you. Taking their chance they reach to the top counter right infront of you to get some plates. They place their right hand at your hip curve, too close to your butt for it to look like an accident. They slighty squeeze themselves into your back and press you lightly against the counter. " Sorry just need to get the plates real quickly. There you go." Taking the plates, they place them contently on the table. Quietly cursing under your breath because of Hange´s Behaviour around you and your family, you try to puzzle yourself together again as you hear your Husband coming back in. "Ha, finally here? Didnt see eachother for a long time right? Already has been 30 minutes ago!" He jokes with Hange as you place the dishes on the table. He puts the chair at the table quickly giving you a kiss on the cheek. Hange of course having seen it tries to distract themself by looking out of the window, trying not to form a frown on their face. 10:35pm After eating dinner, wishing Hange a restly good evening and bringing your children to bed you make yourself ready for bed, too. Now laying comfortably under your bed covers you shut your eyelids and try to sleep. " I thought about throwing my Birthday Party at a restaurant, what do you think? Then we don´t have that much work to do and can actually enjoy it." He turns to you and hugs you from behind laying his chin right at the crook of your neck. After a fey seconds of silence you answer " Sounds good, do you already have a specific place in Mind?" "No but that still has time." he starts to rub your hips and then goes over to your lower belly. " I can´t wait actually. I love it when every of our friends and family members come together. It´s always a good little distraction from work. It especially always warms my heart to see our children having so much fun." Erwin starts to kiss you on your neck.. just like Hange did earlier. He slowly turns you over on your back crawling on top of you and kissing you on the lips. You already know where this is leading to and just hope it goes over quickly. " It would be even better if we had more than just two of our own running around, don´t you think so too?" You try to take your time trying to find a fitting answer to talk yourself out of this situation, already knowing that no matter what you will say, it will have the same outcome. You don´t want another child, atleast not with him. " I´ve always wanted to have a big Family, but I don´t wanna pressure you into anything. If you do not want to have another child than that is also completely fine with me after all you are the one that would go through the pregnancy." you can´t say no, you already knew his wish of a big family when you two were only dating. You don´t want to make him unhappy, you can´t risk to become apart of an unhappy marriage. Then the temptation of a divorce and an authentic life without lying to others, to Hange and especially yourself would be too big. You just need to. For the sake of your Children, your marriage, your parents and your reputation. "No I do want to have another child with you. I just waited until you would bring the topic up. I didn´t want to sound too desperate." You lied and pushed your own needs away. Like you always did. Erwin smiled softly and whispered " Well then what´s stopping us?" He started to slowly pull of your Nightgown and kissed your body down. Your breath sped up but only because you felt uncomfortable and almost wanted to cry. You just tried to imagine it being your Best friend like you always did in the hopes of it feeling more acceptable, even when you knew you shouldn´t be thinking about them in such an intimid situation.This would be a long night. 5:50pm Today your kids were visiting their friends place to play. This gave you some time on your own to let your thoughts swim around in your head. Putting on your heels to go and pick them up again yoa can hear someone banging loudly on the door. Weird. Erwin usually comes home 15 minutes later. As you open it you see Hange standing completely disshelved at the doorway looking sadly down on your face. They don´t say anything except they give you again a bouquet, this time purely made out of red roses. You look quizically at them and wait for them to say something. " For you. Can´t let a beautiful lady like you only have flowers from the day before sitting on her kitchen table. Here, take them." They step inside the house without even asking and fill up a vase with water. You smell the alcohol off of Hange. They had some to drink. A lot. " Hange is somethiing wrong? You seem a little bit shaken up. Can I do something for y-" they shove the flowers into your face. " Here look! It´s not only roses, I have put a little suprise in there extra for you my love." You cringe at the nickname even when you liked it, you knew that they shouldn´t be calling you that. "Hange.. please calm down first." You touched them at their upper arm to comfort them, while they completely ignored what you were just saying. " Why did you do that? Why did you marry Erwin? Why do you lie to the people around you? Why do you lie to yourself? I don´t get it. Do you think you deserve nothing better? You are the one that needs to live this life and nobody else. So you should do what you actually want. Why did you marry a man.. I love you. And I know you love me too. Please marry me! I will take good care of you and your kids I promise. I will treat you better than any men on this earth ever could." They went down on one knee and took a box out of the middle of the roses. Inside is sitting a silverring with your birthstone formed in an oval shape. You were shocked. Never in your life would you have imagined to ever be in a situation like this one. You felt betrayed by them. They knew how anxious you were because of your real feelings. And they overstepped the line. They were selfish and wanted you all for themself. You felt the angerness rising in you. " What is wrong with you?? I´m a happily married woman and I love my husband. Why are you doing this to me? Why can´t you accept my decision? Stand up and take this ring out of my face!" Hange stands up, grabs you by both of your shoulders and pull you to them. " Stop lying! Stop lying to yourself! We could have had a beautiful life together and you needed to ruin it! Why can´t you just be honest?" they´re grip grew stronger and stronger until it started to physically hurt. " Hange please stop! Please! I´m sorry. I am so so so sorry, please let me go!" You started to cry out of frustration and from all the built up supressed emotions that collected in your body the last few years. They took their chance and pushed their lips onto yours in hopes of trying to still win you over." What the fuck are you doing!? Take your disgusting hands off of her!" Erwin came in running and ripped you away from their grip. " Please y/n don´t do this to me! Don´t do this to yourself!!" "Go or I will call the police!!" Their heart shattered when they realized you would never choose your own happiness over the wall of lies that you have built around you and went outside to their car. "Then throw away your whole life if you want to if that is what you want to do. Don´t come crying to me when you will regret everything." You clawed yourself to your husband and cried hysterically.What would your life look like if you would have just chosen what your heart desires instead of what society wants you to do?
