Uraraka ran out after making the world's worst excuse. Izuku felt a little sad, his own middle school days were like this. With people going away when he tried to talk to them. The mall was crowded, surely she wouldn’t find him if she even tried. He doesn’t have his phone, so he sits to wait for her even though he’s sure she will not. Maybe he can buy the new Hawks figurine? It’s pre- A cold hand squeezed his neck, four fingers lingering on his skin, making him shudder a little. He looked up just to see Shigaraki, who was smiling just a little too much. “Don’t even try to ask for help.” Those words don’t mean anything, he knows they wouldn’t help anyways. Shigaraki started to rant about Hosu and Stain and All Might and too many things, but they both startled and took a few steps forward when a hand settled on both of their shoulders, then everything was oddly quiet. Izuku opened his eyes, not even knowing when he had closed them, to see glass. There were four walls that seemed to be made of glass. He looked up, and sure enough, there was a roof of the same material. He then looked around, noticing Shigaraki and a man in his late thirties, with plain brown hair but shining purple eyes, he was grinning, which was creepy. Going back to the room, the rectangle was spacious, but not too much, it had almost the same size as a normal (if not a little bigger) bedroom. He turned around when he heard a soft tap on the wall, only to see Aizawa-sensei and the rest of the class outside, which was concerning as he just opened his eyes, so he blacked out for some minutes while the rectangle was formed but gravity didn’t affect him? Odd. A quiet ‘what the heck’ was murmured by Shigaraki, but the total silence made them hear it perfectly. Fortunately, Shigaraki had a hoodie on, so for now his Sensei wouldn’t be too concerned. “Sir, is this your quirk?” The man nodded, still holding a quickly sickening grin on his face. He’s not going to lie, he’s nervous as hell. There’s a civilian in here with a villain and a hero-in-training. “Can you explain how it works?” The man's grin seemed to deepen when he moved to explain his quirk. It was a time limit quirk, only that the time changes every time it’s used, the quirk basically makes a cube or rectangle (depends on how many persons are there),, and it can send all the laws of the universe out of the window as they could make whatever they wanted while in there, technically, the rectangle isn’t in their dimension, instead blending itself to attach to their dimension and then disappear after a period of time. They couldn’t use their quirks with the intent to hurt each other, but it works just fine. It was a very interesting quirk, but the never-disappearing grin on the man’s face was making him uncomfortable. Shigaraki still hasn’t talked, instead opting for listening. More tapping coming from the wall behind him, he turned again to see his Sensei holding his phone with a message: ‘What happened, Problem Child?’ Damn… He has double capital letters now. Thinking about what the man that he still doesn’t know the name said, he imagines a notebook, and sure enough, there’s one on his hand. He summons a pen and starts writing. Ignoring the civilian and villain. “So, what’s your name?” Surprisingly, that was Shigaraki asking the civilian something. He presses the notebook on the glass, knowing that his Sensei would understand as he wrote everything backward. “My name is Zankoku Akui, yours?” Shigaraki let out a whistle. That’s a really unlucky name, cruelty and brutality with malice and spite? What a bad family this man had. Izuku took the notebook back, gaining a confused glance from Aizawa, who still needs to read some things, and wrote the name of the civilian. Aizawa nodded at the new information and continued reading. “The name’s Shigaraki Tomura.” The two went back to an uncomfortable silence, he turned to see both of them looking at him. “Ah, my name’s Midoriya Izuku.” He let out a nervous chuckle, seeing that Zankoku was still staring at him while Shigaraki was looking around. A tap on the glass got him to look back at Aizawa, who had his phone pressed against the glass. ‘Who’s the other one?’. Now, he could say it’s the same villain from the USJ, but that would make Aizawa worry, and he doesn’t deserve someone worrying about him. Or… “Shigaraki,” said person hummed. “Please, act like a normal person and don’t make this complicated, please.” He practically begged. Shigaraki chuckled before pushing his hood off his face, clearly not intending to do this the easy way. Aizawa clearly remembers him as he backed away before calling someone -probably the police- and sending the class with their families. Great, just his fucking luck. Not even an hour later, several police officers and Aizawa were around the rectangle, Aizawa being the closest to it. They got to the mall already pretty late, the last rays of sunshine showing up, so now the sun had set and the moon started to rise. He was in the middle of Shigaraki and Zankaku, his back on the glass and the other two in the opposite corners of the rectangle. There was an awkward silence after Izuku explained to the civilian that Shigaraki was a villain, and the three settled into silence. Since there was nothing much to do, and also seeing that the other two were already asleep, he went to sleep too, the shock of everything coming back at him in full force to think clearly that he was trapped inside of a rectangle with a villain that could turn him to dust.
Tomura woke up to the sound of slams into the glass, opening his eyes with a groan. He was startled to see the zan-blah-blah on top of Midoriya, who had tears in his eyes and some very obvious quirk-canceling cuffs, with also his arms tied with a red rope. He would have been mad at the two of them for making such acts here if not for the clearly panicked face of the youngest one and the ragged breaths; he just now notices the muzzle on the child’s face. He didn’t think, he just moved, touching with his hand wide open the villain, who crumbled to dust. Huh, he will think of that later, for now, he focuses on touching the muzzle and the restraints of the clearly stressed Midoriya. As he pulls the other into a hug, he notices how everything stays in place, not even a hair turning to dust. And, as the rectangle disappears and a familiar purple portal appears below him, the last thing he sees is a smile on Midoriya's face, a quick thank-you coming out of his mouth. Oh, and the dozen police officers panicking, but what hits most was the relieved look on Eraserhead’s face. (He’s sure he woke up just because of the frantic eraserhead who was slamming his fist on the glass, trying to scare Zankoku.)
From behind a television, showing a camera of a mall, is a man with no face and a sick smile. Tomura was a villain, not a monster. He was proud.
