Sheng Wang sighed in disappointment as he leaned against the railing of the balcony. The fresh air helped to lighten his mood. He’d come to his father’s fundraiser to have fun. His own reward for working so hard at his college. He shuffled his feet then pinched the bridge of his nose. However he wasn’t having fun. There were so many alphas that had tried to approach him. He really shouldn’t have shared his own story of presenting as an omega during his interview after some charity work that he’d done. Sheng Wang wasn’t ashamed but he was tired of being approached just because they knew now that he wasn’t a beta.
“No.” Sheng Wang bit out as he felt the hair on his neck stand up as he felt the weight of the alpha approached. “I’m not interested so just go ba-a-ck-k.” He found himself stuttering at the end when he spun around to find what had to be the most attractive man he’d seen in a long time, holding a martini glass filled with his favorite hazelnut martini with extra chocolate. The dark blue suit fit him flawlessly showing off his strong shoulders, narrow waist, and strong legs.
“Interested in a drink?” the alpha offered the drink.
“What makes you think I’d want that?” Sheng Wang sassed, folding his arms not taking the drink.
“I don’t think anything at all. It’s not from me.”
Well that was disappointing and Sheng Wang didn’t bother to hide it. The smile creeping on the alpha’s face made his blood start boil. “So who
is
it from?”
“Your father.” the alpha tilted his head up, making Sheng Wang lift his head towards the second floor where his father was giving him a thumbs up.
“So you’re one of father’s guards?” Sheng Wang shot his father a glare before reaching for the glass. He took a sip, “What should I call you?”
“Jiang Tian. And I am not one of your father’s guards. I’m yours not that you’re home.” Jiang Tian answered him, unable to contain his amusement as Sheng Wang sputtered. Those dark eyes widening as he realized what he’d been told.
“You’re mine?” Sheng Wang couldn’t believe his ears that the handsome alpha was going to be around him twenty-four seven. He wanted to glare at his father but he knew the man had scampered off. So he was stuck with Jiang Tian.
“Yes.” Jiang Tian answered with a nod and Sheng Wang knew he was doomed.
