Boom! An explosion rang throughout the street, fire and debris flew everywhere as two hooded figures walked through the nearby supermarket where the explosion had occured.Fruits and wholemeal bread flying everywhere, the automatic doors of the convenience store are now broken.The welcoming bell sound is now fizzling, once a bright and sharp was now distorted and bleak.A flying carrot chucks itself at Mizuki with a thud, with such force they’re pretty sure they have a bruise on their nose now.Mafuyu almost suffers the same fate from a falling brick before Mizuki holds up their pink umbrella, effectively preventing any more debris falling onto them or Mafuyu.There are now cracks on the pavement where the explosion sounded. The sign outside the small convenience store saying ‘Supermarket’ was now burned, only leaving the words ‘Sup’.Honestly, they didn’t really need to create an explosion that big. Mafuyu was just bored from doing nothing so Mizuki decided to make it bigger.Their assignment was complete already, as shown by the ring in their left pocket.They had to blow up a building near the store, so the two decided to just kill two birds with one stone. Mizuki personally thinks that the now crumbling sign is a very nice greeting to whoever passes by the currently crumbling store.The fire alarm already went off, water sprinkling everywhere, so now the umbrella has a second use. Mizuki chuckled at the thought before looking over to the milk section. “Geez, there’s mud everywhere, my boots are going to get sticky. Hey Mafu, what else did Ena say to get?” They asked as they put a carton of milk into the green plastic basket Mafuyu was holding while a screaming customer runs out of the store with a plastic bag that seems half-burnt.“Cheesecake, soy sauce and green onions.” Mafuyu answered them in an emotionless tone, reaching out for a bottle of soy sauce.Another store employee attempts to run out of the store behind them, only to slip over the carrot that hit Mizuki on the face and trip over on their face.Mizuki hummed, using their other hand to reach out to the vegetable section to get the green onions.This is the life of a villain, stealing from supermarkets all because of boredom. Also because inflation is a son of a bitch.Ugh, they still have to write a report to MEIKO and Luka about this.In the distance, another round of explosions and screams occur while Mizuki takes a box of cheesecake and puts it into the basket.The pair make their way to the cash register, where the cashier was currently cowering under the counter, looking at the two villains with nothing but fear in their eyes.The storage door behind him is falling off its hinges, the metallic door burning, revealing a concerning amount of burnt wholemeal bread.“Yahoo~Um, how much is this?” Mizuki asks as they place the basket on the counter.The poor cashier is now trembling, Mafuyu and Mizuki can hear his teeth chattering as he answers them, “T-t-t-two tho-ousand y-yen.”Mizuki pulled out a couple of bills out of their wallet, slapping it onto the counter as Mafuyu grabs the basket from the counter.“Thank you, bye bye!” They wave and grin at the pale cashier as they exit the now disheveled store.There’s another explosion now, along with police sirens and the sounds of people shouting.“Gotta run, come on Mafuyu!” They took her hand in theirs, the pair walking towards one of the dark alleyways that led to a secret hideout that led to the villain headquarters.——————“Man, that report took so long! ” Mizuki whined as they took off their slightly muddy boots on the front porch of the Yoisaki Household.They shared an apartment with Kanade, Ena and Mafuyu, who was currently removing her shoes too.She was also still holding a plastic bag full of the groceries they had bought/ stolen in the morning.The plastic crinkled with every movement, wrinkling under the grasp of her hand.“You did nothing, you just kept on poking my cheek while sitting behind me.” Mafuyu responded as Mizuki took out their keys.“Shh.” They cupped her cheek, turning her head towards them before letting their lips linger on hers for a few moments pulling back, moving on to unlocking the door infront of them, their cheeks were warm, and from what they could see from the corner of their eye, Mafuyu’s cheeks were also a bit red.They smiled before unlocking the door, shouting out their regular greeting, “We’re hom—“The moment they opened the door, a wooden spatula flew from the kitchen and hit them in the face, effectively making them crumble like a piece of paper, then proceeding to collapse onto their back from the sheer force of the throw.Mafuyu suffered the same fate unlike during the morning with the brick. Another wooden spatula came flying towards her and bonked her onto the forehead, but unlike Mizuki, she didn’t collapse.Instead, she stood there, stiff as a board.Ena was behind the counter, her hand was extended, obviously having thrown both spatulas. Her face was in an angry scowl.Kanade was sitting at the dinner table, frantically waving at Ena with a shocked expression. A huge contrast from her usually smiling face.Mizuki groaned from where they were laying on the floor while Mafuyu helped them up.“You two said you would be home by 7, “Ena glared at them, “It’s 7:30.”“The report took a longer time than we expected.” Mafuyu answered, bending down for Kanade to walk over and give her a welcome home kiss.She dragged a motionless Mizuki into the arms of Kanade, then she handed Ena the plastic bag, “Here, we bought the items you asked for. “Ena’s scowl softened at the sight of cheesecake inside the bag, sighing.“Fine, don’t be late again.” She kissed Mafuyu before moving over to put two plates on the table.Mafuyu nodded before walking over to the bedroom to change out of her uniform while Ena walked over to Mizuki, who was leaning into Kanade’s shoulder as she led them to sit next to her at the dining table.“Come on, get up and change, you smell like shit.” Ena slapped their shoulder lightly.Mizuki groaned into Kanade’s shoulder, “Nooo, my heart and body’s been wounded by the cruel Enanan~”“You little—“Kanade patted them from where they were leaning onto her shoulder before Ena decided to use a knife, “Uh, if you get up and change, I’ll kiss you?”Mizuki immediately got up from their crumpled position and ran to their room to change. After a few minutes, Ena and Kanade could hear Mizuki dragging Mafuyu to the shower, “Come on, Mafuyu!”Ena and Kanade could hear the sounds of the shower running as they both stifled a laugh at their youngest partner’s antics. After a while, Mizuki and Mafuyu emerged, wearing their home clothes.Mafuyu was wearing one of Mizuki’s multiple hoodies while Mizuki was wearing one of Ena’s sweaters.They both sit down at the dinning table, joining Ena and Kanade, who are looking at their devices.After a few moments of silence, Kanade looks up from her hunched position, “Notorious villains Amia and Yuki wreak havoc at Scramble Crossing, causing a store to burn down, along with other building casualties..?”Ena looks at them with an unimpressed look, “Really?”Mizuki raised their hands in surrender, “In my defence, Yuki was bored.”Mafuyu nodded, shoving another spoonful of rice into her mouth.Ena and Kanade knew about Mafuyu and Mizuki’s supervillain activities, neither of them really had a problem with it, due to a lack of really caring.The two had actually walked in on Mizuki and Mafuyu villain activities a few times.“No one got hurt right?” Kanade asked, worry creeping onto her face.“Yep! But I’m pretty sure the cashier got scared bad…” Mizuki said through their spoonful of meat, vegetables and rice. “Is that where you got the groceries?” Ena asked, raising her eyebrow in questioning.“Yes.” Mafuyu deadpanned.“Seriously?!”Mizuki laughed at her reaction, grabbing onto Mafuyu’s arm to steady themself.Kanade couldn’t help but laugh too, causing Ena to soften and Mafuyu to let out a small smile.The conversation continues from there, full of jokes, banter and laughter and the warmth of love.“So Kanade, about that kiss…”Ena threw her spoon at them.(Dw Mizuki got a kiss from Kanade and Ena)
—-//———//——-All four of them were dating, living in Kanade’s house.Ena goes to a nearby art university while Kanade does online university for a musical degree.Mizuki and Mafuyu haven’t gone to university yet, already having jobs as notorious villains with a habit of exploding things in the villain industry.Working in the villain industry isn’t actually as lax as it sounds. There are more rules than an average person would expect. For one, unless you had a fake identity, you had two choices: live underground where no one could find you, or constantly be chased by the government.You couldn’t have a bank account, or have any registered accounts in well, anything.Mafuyu and Mizuki had their own fake identities, but could also use Ena and Kanade’s.This helped them stay off the governments radar.You weren’t allowed to stray out of your assignment, and there was a limit to how much destruction you could create.Rui somehow always managed to find a way out of it to MEIKO’s chagrin.You had to write a report for every mission you did too, and you couldn’t really keep the things you stole.The villain industry and the hero industry were surprisingly closely related with how much society pit them against each other.Mizuki knew a few people in the hero industry, like the superhero league More More Jump!Other than them, they would have liked to stay as far away from the hero industry.They also had a few colleagues in the villain industry, Rui and Nene, Kohane and Toya, Ichika and Shiho.Most joined the villain industry for money and such.Mizuki and Mafuyu were one of the few who joined for completely different reasons. Mizuki didn’t really have a good reputation in middle school. Having both powers and being a non-binary person was a huge red flag apparently. It spread all the way to their high school days, leading to them skipping school just so they wouldn’t see their classmate’s voices mocking them.Eventually they joined the villain industry around the same time at 16, a place they could run away to.Mafuyu joined the villain industry in a rebellious act against her parents, they wanted her to join the hero industry, suffocating her in their expectations until she broke under the pressure.She ran away from home, joining the villain industry at the age of 17, around the same time as Mizuki, living at one of the many hideouts of the villain headquarters until she met Mizuki in a robbery assignment.The two became friends after a while, going on assignments together more often and even sometimes hanging out outside of work.Mafuyu even moved into their house after a while, since their parents weren’t around and neither was Yuuki, it was fine.Though it was tough at times, Mizuki had found a little family in the villain industry, one they loved.Speaking of love…oh yeah! Their other partners, Ena and Kanade!The way Mizuki and Mafuyu met Ena and Kanade was…unorthodox to say the least. It was like right out of a manga.The only funny thing was Mizuki and Mafuyu actually met them twice before they genuinely interacted.They remember so clearly.It wasn’t really surprising how many explosions there were in the villain industry how many explosions there were.They had just blown up a jewellery shop near a pancake cafe, glass shards decorated the floors of the mall as the pair walked out.Glass crunching under their shoes as they walked through the path outside the shop, holding a a bag full of rings and jewellery.“Hey, you wanna get curry after this?” Mizuki asked Mafuyu, who was also carrying a bag of jewellery over her shoulder.“Didn’t we eat that yesterday?” Mafuyu tilted her head, her shoulder brushing against Mizuki’s.“Eh~it’s so good though!” They grinned.Suddenly, a glimpse of white and brown hair flashed through the smoke of the explosion caught Mizuki and Mafuyu’s eyes.They both stiffened, was it the heroes? They needed to run then.But luckily for them, it wasn’t.Instead, the hair belonged to two girls. One with short brown hair, wearing a green blouse and a light brown skirt.The other with long silver hair that tugged at her ankles, she wore a blue tracksuit with a black shirt and shorts.Her arm was wrapped around the brunette’s arm with the brunette shielding her away from a fallen debris.Finally, the brunette noticed the pink and purple duo from afar, the silver-haired girl noticed them too.The two sides stared at each other for a few moments, time seemed like it had slowed down as pink and purple eyes met brown and blue eyes.They both look drop-dead gorgeous, Mizuki notes. Were they some kind of trick that God sent down to remind curse them for that one time they accidentally hit Rui in the nuts? No, God wouldn’t care about a purple-haired gay man that much.Suddenly, police sirens sounded through the air, breaking all four of them out of their trance.“Come on.” Mafuyu grabbed Mizuki’s hand, dragging them over to the nearest alleyway, leaving the mysterious brown and silver haired girls behind.After that, Mizuki never expected to see those two girls again. Even if they were interested in them for some reason.That quickly proved to be wrong.A week after the mall explosion accident caused by the infamous Yuki and Amia, they had another heist.It was supposed to be a regular assignment. Get the assigned things quickly, in and out, maybe throw in another one of Rui’s gadgets to create an explosion.Unfortunately, this time, someone had tipped the heroes. Once Mizuki and Mafuyu reached the assigned place, the heroes had already arrived.They barely made it out with their lives, much less the assigned object.The two ran and ran and ran until they were out of the heroes sight.Eventually they reached a dark alleyway covered in graffiti near a cafe.Mizuki slumped against the wall, Mafuyu did the same. Tucked in an alleyway, running away from someone was honestly a frequent thing for Mizuki actually. It’s late, so not many people are going near the cafe now. Thank god for that, Mizuki winces as they feel the stickiness of blood from an injury at their stomach drench their uniform.Mafuyu isn’t doing much better either. Her usually expressionless face is contorted in pain as she leans against Mizuki. Blood running down one side of her face from a scar.They’re both covered in bruises and scars, with blood all over their uniforms.Mafuyu’s breath is laboured as she tried to stop the bleeding on an injury at her midriff.Mizuki tries to comfort her, their hand is shaking as they wipe some of the blood off her face, “Shit…it’s ok ‘Fuyu…”They groan as their wound pulses with even more pain.Shit, Fuck, Bitch, Idiot. Yes, those are the words that currently describe how Mizuki is feeling.Their powers can’t exactly fucking help them now, they can only control fabric that their hand has come in contact with and Mafuyu can only summon ice.None of them really help in this case. Mafuyu has some medical knowledge, but she can’t exactly do anything right now.Their vision is starting to blacken, and their limbs feel like lead.Mafuyu seems to be blacking out too, seeing as how she was leaning more and more against them, her movements slowing down.Mizuki can’t even move, their left hand is still wrapped around Mafuyu and their right hand is wrapped around their stomach.They can vaguely hear someone speaking, along with two pairs of footsteps coming closer and closer towards them and Mafuyu.They can’t even bother to try and move away as their eyelids flutter once, twice, thrice before black slowly takes over their world as they enter a deep sleep.When they wake up, there’s a heavy weight on top of them. Their eyes flutter open to reveal Mafuyu, sleeping on top of them.Well, that wasn’t really rare seeing as how they shared a room in Mizuki’s apartment.The only thing that stood out to Mizuki was their surroundings. A dark room with only a blue light coming from a nearby computer surrounded by what seems like musical equipment.The entire floor of the room was covered in musical sheets, there’s a small table in the middle of the room with a concerning amount of cup noddles on them.There’s something around their stomach, it feels like a bandage, but they don’t seem to be wearing their full villain uniform. Instead, they’re wearing the black shirt they always wear underneath their uniform.Mizuki learned the hard way the last time they wore a white shirt underneath.They groggily try and sit up, then immediately fail and fall back onto the bed. Mizuki forgot that they had a fucking stomach injury that was now stinging like hell.Mafuyu was stirred from her sleep by the sudden movement, “Mizuki..?”Hearing her blunt voice was like a refreshing breath of air in the midst of their blurry confusion.“Hey Mafuyu…” Their raspy voice sounds foreign to them, “Uh, do you know where we are?”Mafuyu’s blank face looks like what could be deciphered as confusion as she looks around the room.Just when she’s about to give her inevitable answer of no, the door to the room opened.Revealing the brown and silver haired girl they saw the week before.Once again, pink and purple eyes meet blue and brown eyes for the second time.The two sides have two different reactions.The brunette and silver-haired girl both dropped whatever what they see holding in their arms at the sight of the two villains in the room being awake before screaming at a socially unacceptable volume at that hour of that day.Mizuki and Mafuyu on the other hand, just blinked at the two screaming people.“Loud…” Mafuyu mumbled as she nuzzled deeper into the crook of Mizuki’s neck, not paying that much mind to the two people at the door.“YOUR AWAKE?!” The brunette screamed.“First, yes. Second, please stop the screaming.” Mizuki put a hand up, gesturing for them to stop.The silver-haired girl walks up to them, her hands slightly flailing as she asked them if they’re alright.Actually, she looks really cute up close…WAIT SHUT UP GAY THOUGHTS.The brunette quickly joins her, freaking out.After the two are done screaming, they all introduce themselves.The brunette is called Ena and the silver haired girl is called Kanade.Mafuyu and Mizuki introduce themselves too.The conversation quickly turns to Ena and Kanade questioning why they were basically lying dead in an alleyway, leading to them finding out that the two people in their house were actually infamous villains, cue more screaming.It actually isn’t that orthodox now that Mizuki thinks of it.It goes the way anyone would expect. Ena and Kanade nurse them both back to health after finding out that they’re both villains, they all learn more about each other in the few months that Mizuki and Mafuyu have to stay with them to heal, they get closer to one another, they start to all fall in love.A few romantic scenes here and there, Kanade confesses, they all kiss and start dating, Kanade and Ena invite Mafuyu and Mizuki to live with them, and the rest was history.Mizuki could still remember falling in love with those three, every single moment of it was a cherished memory in the brain, something they never wanted to let go.They think again.
——————The first time Ena and Kanade walked in on Mafuyu and Mizuki on their jobs was on a Saturday.They were robbing a cafe this time, for some expensive cooking recipe that was kept in a safe at the storage room of the cafe.Mizuki managed to pick lock it, one of their many specialties they picked up from Luka.They did have to fight a lot of employees and the head chef to get through it but it was easy so it didn’t really bother them or Mafuyu.Mizuki was looking at the cafe’s menu while leaning against the cash register counter, out of the corner of their eye, they spotted a chef running at them at full speed.They rolled their eyes before they stuck out their leg, making him trip before kicking him in the head, knocking him out.“Hey Mafuyu, this place actually looks good! We should come here sometime with Ena and Kanade.” Mizuki said as they dragged the now unconscious bald man towards the growing pile of employees they and Mafuyu had knocked out.“Mizuki, I don’t think anyone works here anymore.” Mafuyu gestured to the pile of unconscious people at the side.“Oh yeah.” They tilted their head, “Oh well.”Just as they walk towards Mafuyu to help her drag the multiple body bags they brought, a bell rings and the glass doors open to reveal Ena and Kanade, who were now looking at Mizuki, Mafuyu and the pile of unconscious chefs.“Umm, are they dead?” Ena asks as she points at the chef that Mizuki and Mafuyu were currently shoving into a body bag.“Uh, I’m sure they’ll be fine?” Mizuki says, with a not so convincing grin.“Ok—you know what never mind, I don’t wanna know what you’re both doing.” Ena looks at them with a tired expression, looking like she had just aged twenty years older than she is.Kanade looks like somewhere between confusion, barfing and amusement, “So, where to now?”“Well we can’t eat here.” Ena shrugs.Mizuki tilts their head at them, “Why are going to a cafe at night?”“They make really good pasta here.” Kanade answered, shrugging as she continues looking at the new body Mizuki and Mafuyu are shoving into another body bag.They look on in silence while Mizuki and Mafuyu clean up the crime scene, shoving the multiple bodies into the back of a company-paid car with a driver.After they wave goodbye to the driver who looked like he didn’t get paid enough for driving bodies all the way to a shady villain headquarters, Mizuki and Mafuyu then turn to Ena and Kanade, “Soo…what do you guys wanna eat now?”“Let’s just go to that family diner near Kanade’s house.”And they did go to the diner near Kanade’s house. Laughter and chatter filled the table they were occupying as Ena and Kanade talk about their day while Mizuki and Mafuyu leave in some commentary.“How did you manage to get Kanade out of the house?”“Trust me, you don’t want to know, Mafuyu.”“H-hey! I don’t stay in the house all the time…”“K, when’s the last time you went out willingly?”“Uh….”They joke and talk, as if Ena and Kanade didn’t just see Mizuki and Mafuyu commit a crime, even Mafuyu cracks out a smile that made Mizuki fall in love with her all over again.——————Mizuki always loved movie nights with their partners. It was nice to cuddle up to them while watching a movie and eating snacks.It’s Mafuyu’s turn to pick, she picks a newly released horror movie on Ena’s Netflix account.Well, it wasn’t exactly her Netflix account, according to Ena herself, she used her brother’s, who used his boyfriend’s, who used his brother’s, somehow it all tied back to Rui, so they never really felt bad, and neither did Ena.They all elected Ena to get the snacks much to her chagrin and the others amusement.Kanade sits beside them, with their arm wrapped around her waist. There was an empty spot between them and Mafuyu, which Ena had called dibs on.She quickly returns with a bowl of popcorn, sitting beside Mafuyu, who quickly wraps her arms around Ena.“Geez, what am I, a teddy bear?” Ena huffs, a slight upward tug on her lips betrays her fondness for the purple-haired woman who is currently manhandling her into her arms.“Hmm, you seem more like a porcupine to me. ” Kanade says from Mizuki’s side.“I can’t tell if that’s a compliment or an insult…” Ena says, smiling at Kanade with a questioning look.“This is Kanade, she cannot insult someone to save her life.” Mizuki said they kissed Kanade, their lips felt soft against her rough, chapped ones, but the sensation was pleasing enough, “But I can see what Kanade’s talking about! Enanan’s so prickly on the outside, but she’s actually all soft and lean on the inside~!”Their words are punctuated by them poking Ena’s cheek cheekily while her eyebrows twitch in annoyance.“Ha?! Then what are you?! A cat?!” Ena shouts as she pushes their hand away, scowling at them.But there’s no real anger in her voice, just fond exasperation and annoyance.“That actually fits Mizuki.” Mafuyu answered Ena, taking a bit of the popcorn from the bowl, it tasted like nothing to her, it was just a formality at that point.“What.”“Mafuyu’s right, aren’t cats playful and sociable? That fits them well enough.” Kanade pointed out with a finger in the air.“They also like to nuzzle people with their head and neck like cats.” Mafuyu nodded.“Never mind…”Mizuki’s face was tinted a bit pink from Mafuyu and Kanade’s comment, stammering a bit as they joined into the conversation, “M-Mafuyu would be a rabbit then.”Mafuyu tilted her head in a cute way, “Why?”“Well, whenever you want our attention, you always thump on the ground with your foot.” They said, patting her head.“Actually, I can kind of see it.” Ena said, leaning against Mizuki’s shoulder to get a better view of Mafuyu’s face ( and also to cuddle up next to them. ), “You like to nip us too.”Mafuyu looked them for a moment, before shrugging, “Then that makes Kanade a dog.”“Huh? Why?”“Whenever we call your name, you always perk up like a dog, then turn to us.” Mafuyu deadpanned.“Maybe a sopping wet dog instead…” Mizuki murmured.“Make that a bony wet sopping dog…” Ena whispered into their ear.Kanade’s face was full on red by the time they all finished talking, “L-let’s just watch the movie!”They all agreed, deciding to spare Kanade from any more embarrassment, putting on the movie instead.Mizuki was pretty sure Mafuyu forgot Ena and Kanade were afraid of horror movies until the first jump scare, Kanade screamed as she clawed Mizuki’s shirt. A contrast from her usually soft voice.Ena screamed, hugging Mafuyu tightly, almost spilling the popcorn bowl before Mafuyu caught it.It was a very fun night that day, full of Ena and Kanade screaming at every jump scare and Mizuki laughing while Mafuyu desperately tried to save the popcorn every time Ena screamed.
——————At this point, Ena and Kanade kept a medical kit in the living room for whenever Mafuyu or Mizuki appeared at the front porch, hurt in one of the countless battles they threw themselves in.At least they never got as badly hurt as when the four first met.This time, the four were sitting in a circle, with Mizuki and Mafuyu having had to remove their villain uniforms with only their matching black undershirts and long pants just so Kanade and Ena could clean their wounds.“Seriously, how did you get this bad of a scratch?! You should be more careful!” Ena lovingly scolded Mizuki as she held their arm, applying alcohol on their wound aggressively, softening her movements after hearing them wince, muttering a sorry.“I can’t exactly do anything about it while I’m dodging a piece of glass to my face!” They pout as Ena put down the cotton piece of alcohol, moving onto wrapping bandages around their arm.“Shut up and stop fidgetting.” She said monotonously, saying the words like a typed message.“Only if you make me—!” Ena swooped up, capturing their lips into their, catching them by surprise. They let out a small squeak before leaning into the kiss, cupping her cheek.After a few seconds, Ena pulled back, focusing her gaze once more onto wrapping the bandage around their arm.Her cheeks were very much painted red, her ears were also red, a bright colour against coffee brown of her hair.Mizuki’s cheeks also felt warm, they were probably blushing too.“I also want a kiss.” Mafuyu said, imitating a Mizuki pout, as she looked straight across to a red-faced Ena.“HAH?!”Kanade and Mizuki giggled as Ena lightly threw a cotton swab at her, hitting Mafuyu on the forehead light.Never a dull moment with Ena, huh?——————They remembered when they first moved into Kanade’s house.Two boxes are in their hands while Mafuyu holds another two. Ena carries one, and is already yelling at Mizuki and Mafuyu, asking them what the hell was in that box.Kanade, bless her and her noddle arms, could not lift an empty box to save her life, much less a packed one.“I think you’re just weak.”“WHAT WAS THAT MAFUYU?!”Mizuki laughed, kicking open the door to the Yoisaki household. A habit An had rubbed off on them.The other three didn’t even flinch at the sound, instead just following them into the house.It takes a few hours to unpack everything, by the time they’re done, it was already seven.“Anyone else don’t feel like going out for dinner?” Mizuki raised their hand from their corner of the couch, their legs on top Ena’s.Ena and Kanade raised their hands while Mafuyu said, “I don’t care.”“Why don’t we just eat instant noddles?” Ena suggested, “Doesn’t Kana have like a fridge full of them?”Kanade perked up slightly at the mention of instant noddles, nodding at Ena’s comment, ignoring the underlaying insult.“All in favour, say aye.” Mizuki raised their hand again.Ena rolled her eyes but nodded, “Aye”Kanade raised her hand too, “Aye.”“Aye don’t care.”(Get it cuz like Aye sounds like I please laugh)“So it’s decided then, Operation Make Cup Noddles…COMMENCE!”“What kind of name is that?!”That was what led to current scene of Mizuki, Mafuyu and Ena listening to one of Kanade’s various ramblings about all the cup noddle flavours until she stopped and finally let them look at the various cup noddle flavours.It never ceased to fascinate them how much Kanade adored cup noddles.After discussing, they all decided to go with the chicken flavour. They wouldn’t touch the spicy noddles after what happened the last time.That time, Mizuki was pretty sure they saw Kanade basically create another sentient creature. For the third time.Mizuki hummed as they reached into the freezer, taking three cubes of ice before dumping them into their cup noddles and pouring hot water into the cup.Ena looked at them in disgust, “Why do you do that?”They proceeded to smirk at her, sticking out their tongue, “Wouldn’t you like to know?”She flipped them off before pouring hot water into her cup noddles cup.They don’t really need a timer, they have Kanade, who can for some reason, accurately measure time until five minutes.Mizuki personally finds it very interesting, just like how every time the girl cooks, she either burns down something that should not be burnt or she makes a sentient being.Cup noddles and tea are the only things the girl she can make.It’s ok, Mafuyu, Mizuki and Ena still love her anyway.Two minutes pass and soon they all dig into the noddles, Ena still complaining about how Mizuki puts ice cubes into their noddles.They bicker and bicker while Kanade laughs and Mafuyu eventually tells them to quiet down.It’s their usual routine, one that they like.It’s warm, they note.

Ena’s sitting, sleeping peacefully at the headboard of their shared bed, Mafuyu is curled up at her side while Mizuki is sleeping on top of her lap.Kanade is leaning against her shoulder, her breathing is even and slow, a clear indicator that she’s sleeping.Mizuki occasionally shuffles in their sleep, mumbling something about some universe where there’s something called N25 or whatever.If they were actually a cat, the ears on top of their head would twitching and their tail swishing around.Mafuyu’s hand is wrapped over Mizuki’s back, her head nestled into Ena’s right thigh.She’s softly snoring with her mouth slightly open.They were talking about some other random thing Mizuki and Mafuyu did in the day, (another explosion, what is with them and fire?!) then they discussed what to do for their next date. Mizuki, being the chronically online person they are, had already found a cafe for them to go to.Ena, being the also chronically online person she is, immediately recognises it.Kanade hates the prospect of going out, but is begrudgingly forced to by Mafuyu to go.(She hadn’t gone out for the entire week already.)Mafuyu, as per usual, didn’t really care. But that was just one the little things they loved about her.The plan is set, and they all talk for a bit more, anything goes, it’s nice to hear her partner’s faces, smiling and laughing.One by one, they all fall asleep. Together.

They’re sitting in the living room, right next to Ena, Kanade and Mafuyu.They’re all folding the laundry, Mizuki’s too lazy to bring out the ironing board, and the others are too lazy to clean it. Besides, it’s a good excuse to spend time with them.Mizuki folds a white shirt that belongs to Ena, neatly smoothing out the wrinkles in the shirt before placing it onto a growing pile next to them.Mafuyu and Ena seem to be in some folding competition, both of them are folding at lightning speed, for some reason.Mizuki hears a giggle coming from their side. It’s Kanade, she’s holding a black hoodie that belongs of Mafuyu while hiding her smile behind her hand at her two other partner’s antics.For a moment, they’re pretty sure they just saw the godamn pearly gates.An angel…“Hm? Mizuki did you say something?” Kanade tilts her head at them.The red on their cheeks immediately deepen as they realise they had just called her an angel aloud.Well, they’re not wrong…“Nothing, just wondering what those two are doing.” They jerk their head in Ena and Mafuyu’s direction.Kanade laughs, leaning onto their shoulder as she continues folding the clothes.They kiss her softly before turning back to their purple and brown haired partners.They turn back to Kanade for a moment, their gazes meeting for a second before they both dissolve into giggles, loud enough for Ena to temporarily forget the folding competition, only to remember it again when she looks at Mafuyu.She curses before grabbing another shirt and folding it.This feels so domestic, so normal now.They love it.

Mizuki sat beside Ena at their usual booth at the family diner near Kanade’s house.Kanade was sitting next to Mafuyu on their far left.The four had gone on a mall date, per Mafuyu’s request.It was a bit strange, the purple haired woman would usually never have any input their date discussion but this time, she had suggested going out to the nearby mall near Kanade’s house.But they were glad that she had inputted something of her own will.But she had been a bit more jittery than usual, her hands kept on moving from her pockets then back to the sides of her body then back to her pockets again.Mizuki was worried, was she sick? Unwell?After they had sat down and ordered their usual, Ena immediately ripped off the bandage.“Mafuyu, are you ok? You’ve been fidgetting nonstop the entire day.” Her face had a scowl on it, but all three of them could easily read through it. There was worry etched into the frown of her face.“Are you sick?” Kanade frets, putting a hand on Mafuyu’s forehead then on hers.“Kanade, love, I’m sorry but your entire body is like an ice cube. You can’t compare you body temperature and Mafuyu’s.” They put their hand on Mafuyu’s forehead instead,Mafuyu pulled their hand away, looking away in a what could be called, bashful manner.“I…have something for the three of you.” There’s a hint of anxiety in her voice as she slowly pulls out three small boxes from her pocket.So that’s what she was fidgeting with!The other three look at her before taking the three small boxes, each one has their own separate names engraved on them.“Please open them.” Her hands are fidgeting with each other nervously.Mizuki heaves a deep breath before opening the small box, only to gasp once they realize what’s inside the box.From what they can hear, the other two had the same reaction.Inside the box, is a small ring. There’s a gem embedded in it, was that ametrine?They can feel tears building up jn the corners of their eyes as they look up at Mafuyu, whose hand has been put on the table, there’s a ring on her ring finger, a small lolite was embedded at the center of the ring.“It’s called a promise ring. I heard that it’s supposed to be given in a relationship to signify commitment and love. Do you like it?” She’s slightly curled up into herself a bit, making herself seem smaller.Inside Mafuyu’s eyes, there was a hint of fear inside them, the fear of being rejected.Ena’s the first one to speak, tears were slowly streaming down her face, “I-it’s perfect, Mafuyu.”Kanade nods fervently, she’s crying too as she talks, “She’s right, Mafuyu. Thank you.”Mizuki looks up at her, they’re crying.“This…is just…amazing, Mafuyu.” They kiss her, slowly and sweetly.Mafuyu sighs in relief, a ghost of a smile creeps onto her face as Ena and Kanade kiss her too.They’re all crying now, in a tangled mess of sobs and hugs.This was the best gift they had ever gotten. They love her, they love Kanade, they love Mafuyu.“Thank you.” They whispered into her ear, as she’s wrapped in all their arms. Surrounded by warmth.After that day, Mizuki wears that ring everyday, showing it off to An and the others. They wear it with pride, knowing that the gift was full of love from their girlfriend.
——————Mizuki kicks open the door to Weekend Garage, wincing at the loud sound it produces when it hit the wall.An looks over at them from where she was hunched over at the cafe counters, looking at her phone with a lovestruck look as she types something on the phone.“Oh hey Mizuki!” She grins at them, shoving her phone in her pocket.“Hey An! Hit me up with the usual?” They say, making their way to counter seats infront of her.There’s not many people in the cafe right now, which is a relief for Mizuki.“Sure thing!” An quickly pours them a strawberry milkshake along with a small plate of fries.“So~who was making our dear An look so lovestruck?” They cheekily grin, shoving a fry into their mouth.“None of your business, gender goblin.”“Ouch! Right to the heart An!” They mimick a fry stabbing into their heart.While they’re acting out their tragic death by a potato, An rolls her eyes, “Anyway, if you must know, I’ve met a very cute blonde hamster girl, whose name is now my girlfriend.”Wow, that sort of reminds them of Kohane.“Wow, you finally pulled some bitches! Congrats An! You’re the last one to get some!” They clapped their hands slowly, emphasising their words, “Even Nene got a bitch before you!”“Shut up.” An deadpans, “Don’t make me tell Dad about that one time you almost blew up a quarter of Weekend Garage.”“Ok, ok! Geez. Glad you found someone who could make you look like such a lovestruck idiot though.” They laugh heartily.“You don’t have a right to talk, the last time you and your girlfriends came over, YOU were basically looking at all three of them with heart-eyes!” An points an accusing finger at them.“Phft, no I didn’t.” They scoff, chewing another fry.“Mizuki, I’m not lying, you’re definitely down bad.”“Die.”In their heart, they know it. They are definitely down bad for their three partners.But who can blame them?

Kanade sits on their lap as they hold her hands in their larger ones, helping her hold a small knife to peel apples.All four of them are peeling apples, ones that Honami gave them two days ago.They guide her hands to cut off a slice, taking it, then letting her bite half of the slice before biting the other half of the apple slice.Mafuyu is sitting beside them, on the east side of the konkastu while Ena sits opposite of them.None of them are talking, the amostphere of peace makes up for it plenty enough.Just another one of the many peaceful moments they love.
——————It’s a peaceful Thursday afternoon, all of them are cuddling on the couch, Ena’s looking at her phone, scrolling through her various social media accounts.Kanade’s laying on Mafuyu’s shoulder, her eyes are disfocused, contemplating on something, probably musical compositions againMizuki is thinking. What are they going to do in the future? Ena and Kanade are graduating from university soon, leading them to contemplate what they’re going to do.Stay as a supervillain? They don’t know. It pays well enough, but Mizuki isn’t really intent on staying in the industry. The only reason they joined was so they could find a place to run away to.But…they don’t need to anymore. They’re not longer the loner they used to be, they have friends, three loving partners, a home where they belong.It really leads them to think, what do they want to do in the future? They’ve always wanted to become a seamstress when they were younger.They still make outfits occasionally, a newly sewn dress at their table can attest.The other three look at them , noticing an unusually serious expression on their face.“Hey, baby. What are you thinking about?” Ena leans forward and cups their cheek in her hand, turning them to look at her.“Huh? Oh, nothing much.” They hum, leaning into the warmth of her touch.“Are you alright, Mizuki?” Kanade asked, holding their hand.“We’re here for you.” Mafuyu’s blunt voice makes them want to laugh, as they look at her blank face.“It’s really nothing! I was just thinking about what to do in the future.” Mizuki says, a reassuring smile on their face.“You aren’t going to remain a villain?” Ena asks.“Hmm, I don’t really think it’s meant for me. I’ve always wanted to be a seamstress though!” They grin.“I’ve…actually been also thinking about the same thing.” Mafuyu confesses, “Lately, there’s been something on my mind, a dream I used to have. Something about wanting to become a nurse.”“That’s amazing, Mafuyu.” Kanade kisses her cheek, with adoration in her eyes.“That’s a big decision. I’m proud of the two of you.” Ena smiles at them proudly.“Yeah, thanks Enanan.”They lean forward, kissing her for a minute.She smiles, and for a second, Mizuki is blinded.They love seeing their partners smile, but what they love even more, is being the reason why they smile.Mizuki wants them to be happy, they want them to feel every shred of joy Mizuki feels everyday just by being with them. Crying with them, Laughing with them, Singing with them, Dancing with them.Every moment with Ena, Mafuyu and Kanade showed them a new way to be happy.They’ve always wanted companions, someone to understand them, to support them. Mizuki never thought they would find love.Mizuki loves Mafuyu, Ena and Kanade. They love who they are when they’re with them.It’s warm. They love this feeling that no one else knows except for the four of them.Mizuki wraps their arms around all their partners, hugging them close to them, drinking in the warm of their embrace.They close their eyes and think.
——————When Mizuki opened their eyes, there was once again a weight on their chest and on their arm.Their eyes opened to reveal a sleeping Kanade with her head and arm on their chest. Geez, her head was light.On their right, spooning Kanade,sleeping on their outstretched arm was Ena, with her head their arm.Her face was slightly scrunched up, eyebrow twitching in her sleep as she curled up closer to Kanade.There were also a pair of arms around their waist. Cold, yet Mizuki felt comfortable and safe in them.Their face turned to their left, where Mafuyu lay, her face buried in the crook of their neck. A familiar scene, one they had seen for so many years.It was warm.Embraced by their lovers, full of love and affection at the three people sleeping beside them.If you had told them 6 years ago that they would have a job as a supervillain, with three partners, friends and a happy life, they were pretty sure middle school them would have scoffed and walked away.Someday they actually still couldn’t believe it, the engagement ring on their finger, the happiness they lived in everyday, having people they loved.The road wasn’t smooth, they could tell you that, but with support, and love from their family and friends, they made it.They made it to this moment to this life they had.And they wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.
