I'm sitting in the driver's seat, next to Emma, I glance at her "Where are we going again?" I ask Emma, she can't hear me I roll my eyes and reach over and tap her head, "Hellooooooo?" I say exaggerating the "o's" "Jesus chr-What." She says to me with a side eyes "I said where are we GOING?" I said, raising my voice on the last bit "The skate park" She mutters at me "God, Thank you.." I whisper under my breath I pull into the skate park and watch her get out, Shes far ahead of me before I get out of the car I finally get to her, "Geez, I've never seen you this excited" I whisper to her, I sigh once I realize she can't hear me. I go sit down far enough away from her so she can feel some freedom, but also so I can watch her

I'm sitting on one of the skate park tables, scrolling on my phone "It's only been 3 minutes, Goddddd.." I groan and rub my face I look and I see this..tall guy skating with two younger people I smile at that, maybe a little bit longer than I should have and how I know? I Make eye contact with him. I quickly look down at my phone, I feel my face getting red with embarrassment "why did I do that fuck fuck fuck..-" I think nervously, I feel my leg bouncing with anxiety I hear walking, "I hope that's Emma" I think to myself "Uhm..Hey?" I hear a voice say to me

"Oh fuck.." I think to myselfI look up and see him, the guy I was staring at "He's prettier up close.." I think to myself "Uh, Hi..?" I say and set my phone face down "Hi, my-my uh, my cousins saw you staring at me?" He says, his eyes are so..pretty "Yeah-I, I-...I'm sorry I was just-..yeah, I'm sorry" I say, stuttering more than I probably should have He smiles softly at me and laughs "God..even his laugh is cute" I think to myself again "No, No-,It's fine, I was just pointing it out" He says, chuckling while talking I smile awkwardly "Oh, yeah, okay" I intertwine my fingers together and look away "Not that I mind !, I really don't mind. I just..wanted to come see if you want to skate with us?" He asks, looking hopeful "I.." I look back to Emma then back to this guy who's in front of me, "I don't know how to skate..." I say softly He looks confused, "why come to a skate park if you don't know..how to skate?" He asks confused "My little sister..skates, she can't drive, so I take her places" I say, looking into his eyes he smiles warmly at that, "well, I want you to skate with us so..I'll just have to teach you!" I smile, feeling like i've known him for years. "Do I have a choice?" I ask smiling "No, No you do not" he says, putting out his hand for me to grab I sigh jokingly and take his hand. He pulls me up off the table gently and leads me back to where he was before

I feel his hand in mine guiding me to where he was I can feel that i'm starting to get fluster," Over someone I just met,really, Aubrey?" I think to myself he stops and stands beside me, "Well, Now that were here" He says, Looking down at me I smile a little The awkward silence makes me want to die, "Well- These are my cousins, Saturn and Jupiter" He says, pointing to them I give a small wave, "Hi" "Oh, and well, I'm Cameron" He says, Looking away then back to me I chuckle, "would have been nice to know when you walked over to me.." I say, in a flirty-teasing-sassy way I watch his face go red and look away, I laugh "No, No, it's okay, I'm just teasing you" I say, laughing he takes a deep breath and looks at me in my eyes, a way that indescribable way "Can I have your name?" He asks me, In a way I cant describe I freeze, I can feel my face going red, "I-..I-..Au- I..." I try to say, but I can't. I'm staring at him, face red and eyes widen I see his smug fucking smirk and I realize what he's doing, I can't do much anyways. I just stand there like a fool "Mhmmm?" He says, looking at me in that way It takes me a second to calm down, "Aubrey" I say to him trying to act as nonchalant as I can. Spoiler alert, it doesn't work well.

"Ahhhh...Aubrey." He whispers to himself I give him a glance, "What?" I ask him, almost to rude for my own personal liking "Attitude much?" He says, staring into my eyes "I-...just, what?" I mutter "Nothing, really, pretty name for a pretty guy" He says, I'll admit, the flirting caught me off guard, and he noticed it. I, again, feel my face getting flustered He smiles at me in that 'i know what I'm doing' way "yeah, okay." I whisper "just..lets..fuck,god damn it" I whisper that last part "just, lets fuck?" He repeats back to me "what!?-No!-" "ask me out before you ask that, Aubrey" he says, the flirting in his voice not evident to me "I- I didn't-" I try to say, the panic in my voice evident enough for him to realize His smile fades quickly and grabs my hands and bends down in front of me 'great, I'm embarrassing myself in front of this really hot guy' I think to myself I try to say more but it just comes out as stuttering and embarrassment "Hey, it's okay, really, I was just joking Aubrey" He says in a quiet tone, one that's trying to calm me down surprisingly it worked and I grip his hand quite tightly 'here, lets teach you to skate" He stands up, keeping my hands in his "yeah..that sounds fine" I say smiling
