You'd been wandering through the woods for a couple hours at least. You and Asra were running low on herbs and such, so he sent you to the woods on the other side of town to collect some.The darker it got out, the deeper into the woods you went. A ring of light behind your head, it makes it easier to see your surroundings and what you're reaching out to. And ahead, you saw some firelight. Headings towards it, you realized you might be close to Muriel's place. You hadn't seen him for awhile so why not pay him a visit.As you approach his clearing, you notice him outside with his chickens and his wolf dog, sitting on a singular, self made, log stool in front of a crackling fire. You conveniently step on a couple crunchy leaves, letting Muriel know of your presence.His whips his head towards you, shock on his face. He moves to dash inside, but you stop him."Hey Muriel," You stand a good distance from his fire."How do you remember me?" He asks, still on guard."Rosemary," You answer, patting the little pouch that was tied to the rope around your waist.Muriel nodded, settling down on his stool, his chickens clucking around him."What are you out so late for?" Muriel asked."Just collecting herbs," You answered. "But I'm about to head back.""I can take you the quickest way out of the woods if you'd like," Muriel offered, twiddling his fingers."Sure," You smiled.You waited for Muriel has he put the chickens into their nightly home and Muriel led you the way, his wolf dog padding it's way beside you. You fed her blueberries you had on you."Alright," Muriel sighed. "Here we are."You two stood a few feet back from the edge of the forest."Thanks Muriel," You smiled up at him. "Stop by the shop sometime, yeah?"He nodded and you took off. Muriel stood and watched until you got over the hill, and then headed back to his house. Inanna trotted beside him, a little more pep in her step now.
