The camp looked abandoned, it was like no one had been there in years I guess that's what time does to unoccupied sitesDavid was bored writing something in his notebook when the door opened and Max came in yelling "DAD""Hey Max, did you finally decide if you wanted to go home or not?" David asked without looking up from his notebook"Yeah, I don't want Grandma Ana to take care of me while Mom works for those stupid Camp Corp guys. I hate to admit it, but I like it here, I like the friends I made and I like being able to spend time with you guys" Max saidHe was lifted into the air and hugged by his father with a happy smile "Oh Max I'm so happy, I knew you'd come to appreciate this place as much as I do""Calm down you idiot, it's not that I love it" Max said pulling away from the hug but giving his father a small smile"We don't have a Camp Campbell to go back to anyway" Max saidDavid sighed "You're right""And that's why we're going to make them regret it" Max said"Are we going to do it?" Asked David"Yes Davey, the boy is right" Said Cameron entering"Mr. Campbell" Said David frowning and taking out a bat while he put his son behind him"Dad wait" Said Max"Yes David calm down, I come in peace" Said Cameron"What are you doing here?" Said David frowning at the man"Look I know I did bad things, but my time in prison and in the woods made me think" Said Cameron"Huh?" Said David"Look I've been a bad manager of this place but think of the children David" Said Cameron"Now you care about the children?!" Said David incredulously"Yes, we are all shits. Now the important thing is to get our camp back" Said Max"I guess you're right" Said David surrendering to whatever his son was going to do"What's the plan?" Cameron asked"Someone give me a phone" Max said with a smile"I'm sure you still have mine" David said"Oh yeah right, sorry I forgot" Max saidGwen was bored at her job, she now understood why she became a teacher and let herself be persuaded by her husband to go to camp with her, office jobs were crap and incredibly boringLuckily a phone call saved her from just staring at her cubicle"Camp corp accounting, gwen speaking" Gwen said"Shit" Max said"Wait a minute, max" Gwen said"Yeah, sorry I bet Cameron you'd be in the mailroom" Max said handing the man money"You little shit, why are you even calling?" Gwen asked when she realized something "Wait you said Cameron""Yeah it's a long story but the point is we're going to get the camp back and we need your help" Max said"You don't have to get involved if you don't want to honey I know you don't like camp" David said"FUCK YOU AND YOUR CRAPPY ASSUMPTIONS" Gwen shouted attracting the glances of her coworkers"You know desperate exes" Gwen said getting deeper into her cubicle"Fuck you David, I'd rather be surrounded by ten vomiting children than in this shitty office" Gwen saidDavid smiled excitedly and asked "Are you sure about this?"Gwen looked at the photo on her desk where all the campers and staff members of Camp Campbell were and said "As sure as when I said yes I do""I knew I had chosen the right woman" David said wiping away his tears of happiness"What do you want me to do?" Gwen asked, sighing tenderly for her husband.Max, David and Cameron were waiting at the entrance to the camp."Max, I still don't understand what we're going to do" David said.Max smiled. "We're going to cause chaos, Camp Campbell style."The bus arrived and the three headed off to the magic camp."Welcome to the magic camp," the counselor said."What's your name, friend?" The counselor asked"My name is Max, it's nice to meet you" Max said acting all innocent and happy while David recorded it from the bus to put it in the family tapes and also sent a copy to his wifeCameron went to talk to the other two counselors far away and Max started looking for Harrison when he found him he approached him"Well hello Harrison" Max said with a smile"Max? What are you doing here? This camp is supposed to be for wizards only" Harrison said"Since I never had an activity like the rest of you, the gentlemen of corp camp said I could choose whichever I wanted" Max saidThat was a lie Max had been forced to go to violin class, but the boy had kicked, screamed and cried enough that the two elders just let him stay at camp until he decided if he was going to really try it or if he wanted to go back home"And Gwen tried hard enough that I can try them all" Max said with a smileMax walked over to Harrison and whispered "I'm actually in the process of bringing Camp Campbell back""Are you trying to bring Camp Campbell back?" Harrison asked doubtfully"Look Harrison, it was camp or stay home, and despite my best efforts I've grown fond of you guys, so are you going to help me out or are you going to stick with this bunch of bores?" Max askedHarrison smiled "I'm glad to see you admit that we're your friends. Now how do we get Camp back?""I thought you'd never ask" Max said with a smileThe three monitors arrived to find the room on fire and the kids screamingAnd that's how they got Harrison inside"I can't believe this is working" David said happily"Gwen helped with the paperwork, Campbell with lying without remorse" Max said"And not to forget your acting" Cameron praised "And David's high standards for fun""Thank you, Mr. Campbell" David said"Let's go for the next one" Max said with a smile"What's Samboy Kidwell doing here?" Harrison asked"Harrison you can't be that stupid" Max said sighing then smiling and saying "It's good to have you back"And after some arson and a lot of chaos almost all the campers were on the busGwen called "It's working spectacularly, they're going crazy trying to figure out what's going on""But I don't know how much longer I can keep them busy so let's get this over with quickly" Gwen said"Campbell remembers that everything is in our name" Gwen said"Don't worry Gwen, Cameron Campbell can't legally own anything" Cameron said"Now all that's left is to get Nikki and Neil" David said happily"Yeah, speaking of which. They're actually here" Gwen saidGwen managed to get the kids thanks to her mandatory psychology course to become a teacher"So are we going to get the camp back?" Neil asked"Yeah, everyone's here" Gwen said happilyThe doors opened showing all the campers along with David and Cameron"Max!" Neil and Nikki said happily going to hug him"You did it" Nikki said"You did it buddy" Neil said"I promised you right?" Max said enjoying having his friends backThe Camp Corp gentlemen arrived and saw all the kids"David, Gwen, I hope you have an explanation for all this" the man said"Gentlemen we appreciate what you did for us and the kids, but we don't think it's the best" David said"Were the kids not happy at camp?" The lady asked"No" They all said at once"That's why we asked you to bring Camp Campbell back" David said "So that we can give the campers the summer they deserve""Well wait there son, we acquired your camp because you couldn't keep it" The gentleman said"That was when it legally belonged to Cameron, David and Gwen can't pay someone else's debts" Max said"But you can keep it and in good condition if it belonged to them" Max said with a smile "Or we can be your problems over and over again""You were the ones who started the fires" The lady said"Arson is just a normal day at Camp Campbell and if there is no camp we will have to sign up for yours over and over again which will certainly make you lose more money than if you just hand the place over to our counselors" Max said pointing at David and GwenThe two sighed and signed the contract granting the camp to David and gwen"YES" everyone shouted happilyThe campers were able to enjoy the place again by shooting water at each other and just having fun"It's good to be back to normal" Gwen said drinking her coffee "I just hope this doesn't put us in debt in the long run""Yeah, it's almost perfect" David said with a smile"WHAT THE HELL ARE WE DOING HERE?" Cameron asked incredulouslyThe consultants and the kids gathered at the monitors' door"You said we were going to the park" Cameron said to the FBI agents"What the hell is going on?" Neil asked"Hey dads" Ered said waving to his parents"Hi sweetie" One of the Miller agents said"We understand that you've been through a lot these past few days. We heard it all in Mr. Campbell's detailed confession. Who willingly told us everything after turning himself in" Ered's other father said"We realized that he's not the mastermind we thought he was" Agent Miller said "He's just an idiot""An idiot who can still do good for the Sleepy Peak region, the kind of good you can do after several thousand hours of community service" Agent Miller said"Do you want me to run the camp again?" Cameron asked bewildered"No, you'll take orders from him" Agent Miller said pointing at David"Now it's perfect" David said with a smile"Welcome to camp idiot" Max said with a smile too
