House Targaryen has ruled the seven Kingdoms for the past three hundred years, breaking whatever rebellion raised until the day the Stag from the Stormlands arose, gathering under his golden banner, along with the wolves of theWhen House Targaryen took power over the Seven Kingdoms, the seed of its destruction was growing, and a prophecy was made. When the hammer shall fall upon the dragon, a new king shall arise, and none shall stand before him. Many tried to fulfil the words, failing every time with House Targaryen crushing every rebellion until the time of Robert Baratheon. And in the year 282 AC, the stag marched is army of Wolves and Eagles and Trout to the shores of the Trident, where he faced the Last Dragon, Prince Rhaegar of House Targaryen.Following the victory, the Stag and the Lion proceed to wipe out the last remnant of House Targaryen, leaving alive but one member, to make the loyalists kneel and the blood of the Stag upon the throne to be lawful. To unite what has never been one but coming from the same source, through the last-born daughter of Aerys II. Princess Daenerys Targaryen. For years the Princess grew up in the place that once was her family’s home, humble and patient, waiting for her fate to fulfil. She saw kings rise and fall, families tear apart, until the day when her suffering came to an end, when she was ready to marry the boy, she had fallen in love with within the walls of her home. But the gods like to play with men's fate, and in their cruelty, they took that happiness away from the young Princess.Year 305 AC. Present day. A few miles away south from the Capital, a young boy who escaped from the Black Cells of the Red Keep, was running through the woods, trying to hide from the Gold Clocks, sent after him by the Hand of the King to find him and kill him.No longer being able to run, too hungry and thirsty, young Lann Hill stopped by an Inn in the Kingswood, despite knowing the danger that will loom there. When he saw the owner come out, Lann addressed him immediately, “Innkeeper. A cup of your most expensive wine.”“Yeah, yeah. First show me the money.”“Here is the money,” Lann said, showing the man his little bag. “And the same from anyone who will join me in a toast.”“Let’s hear your toast,” came the voice of a man, and Lann could swear that he already heard it before.Pushing aside his thoughts however,  Lann approached the table, cup in hand, as he said, “We toast to a special man, my friend. Someone who has been inside the black dungeons of the Red Keep and lived to tell the tale.”“Then you will drink to me, little man. I’ve seen those dungeons.”Hearing that caught his attention,  and taking a bit of bred, Lann tried his luck, “A blacksmith, perhaps? A carpenter? A stonecutter, even? But a prisoner from the inside of the Red Keep?”“I didn’t say I was a prisoner,” retorted the man, before revealing himself. “I'm a Kingsguard,” the man revealed himself,  pulling down the hood and taking off the clock. Lann’s eyes widened at seeing who he was and immediately tried to run, only to be caught by two men. “Already leaving, little man? We have just met.”“I-““You shouldn’t have taken the Kingsroad, boy. Now you will die.”And he felt the pointy end of the blade under his throat. He did not breathe, he did not swallow, he was standing there, frozen in his place and waiting for his fate to come.Suddenly the blade was gone, and when he opened his eyes, Lan saw a bolt of crossbow stuck in the man’s arm as he fell down to his knee and dropped the blade. After that, he heard someone say, “Let the boy go.” They obeyed,  and then the man addressed him. “Out boy.”“Jon Snow,” he heard the Kingslayer say while clapping his hand as he was running away. “I had heard rumours that you were still alive and wandering through the Kingswood. I wanted to cut their tongues cause I knew you weren’t that stupid to stay so close to the Capital when you knew that a bounty was placed on your head.” Jon didn’t answer to him but took a good look at the faces of the men there before addressing them, “I was your Lord Commander once. Dose loyalty and honour mean so little to you men of the City Watch?”Jaime Lannister scoffed as he retorted with a question, “Where is the girl?”“Out of your reach, Kingslayer.”“Pity. We hoped to enjoy her presence again. Now kill him,” Jaime Lannister commanded, but the men were refusing to obey, and Jon was glad for that. However, the Kingslayer wasn’t at all. He was getting angry despite the arrogance plain on his face. “A thousand dragons and a lordship for whoever will bring me his head.”It was enough to make them pull their weapon and attack him, forcing Jon to defend himself. He fought the man that he once commanded, but tried not to go for the deadly blows, unless he had no choice. He even came sword to sword with Jaime Lannister, but the man didn’t seem to want to fight, flaunting his cocky sneer.Having enough of that, Jon dropped the sword and grabbed a flaming log, fighting of the man and setting his clock on fire. Jaime Lannister immediately screamed, rolling down on the ground, trying to extinguish the flames, and Jon used the moment to retrieve his blade. Then pointing it to his throat, Jon said, “Tell him that his days are numbered and that I will soon come after him.”After a gift of parting, Jon left the man there on the ground, and getting back on his horse, he went in the search of the boy, because for some strange reason, Lannister wanted him.He found him not too far in an open side of the Kingswood. Jon urged his horse forward, and the moment he reached the boy, pulled him up like a sack of potatoes, Before riding away, deep into the woods, with her flying above them like a guardian angel.  The sun was setting, and they had been traveling for some time, when all of a sudden, the man decided to camp down as they approached a farm.“Are you sure you don’t want to ride on,  Ser? There is still plenty of light.”“Stop your chattering, boy. We will spend the night here,” the man retorted, stopping, and in that moment, Lann saw those living there come out, axe in hand. It was a man and a woman. “Good evening, Ser, my lady. My squire and I need lodging for the night.”“No…No place for you here,” stammered the man, clearly afraid of them. Or should he say of the knight?“We can pay whatever price you will ask,” the night reassured them, and Lann, not wanting to sound less, showed them his sack, “We are not above compassion for those in misery.”After a moment's hesitation, the owner agreed, pointing his finger as he said, “That night was one of the best and worst night of his life.”“Thank you,” the knight bowed his head in gratitude as he turned his horse and led him to the barn. Once down, the man looked up, scanning the sky as if searching for someone. Then addressing him, Jon Snow said, “You may see a bird fly above and then come down. Guard her. If anything happens to her, I will cut your head.” And Lann swallowed hard, nodding, as he saw the man pull out a silk from his bag, before addressing him again. “You will also take care of my horse. And sleep with one eye, remember.”“all right, all right. I will take her for a walk,” Lann said getting to the horse. “Come old girl.” But the horse had no intention of moving. “Come on. You are stubborn, hu? What’s her name?”“His name is Winter,” retorted the man, and Lann’s mouth fell open as he bent to see that the horse wasn’t a mare in truth but a stud.“His name? Pretty name.”When the horse still didn’t want to follow him despite the praises, the man said, patting the stud’s side, “Go with him, boy. He didn’t mean to hurt your feelings.”“Come on,” Lann said while leading him away. “Before we get to know each other better, Winter, I think I should tell you the story of a party that was named Winter Wolves.”  For the rest of the evening, after the sun set down, he gathered logs for fire, cursing under his breath at every log he picked up or stumbled upon on his way. See to the fire, feed the animal, gather the wood. He should have stayed in the Black Cells, despite the cellmate being insane and a murderer, but at least he respected him in some way. He was still figuring out why the knight saved him. He undoubtedly wanted something from him.Suddenly he heard the growl of an animal, and when he turned, Lann saw big wolf with fur white as snow and eyes red as blood. It was the biggest wolf he has ever seen. Fuck! Now he was in trouble. Slowly, he moved back, and right as he did so, Lann heard someone roar. As he turned to where the noise was coming, Lann saw their host charge at the wolf with his axe, and the beast immediately attacked him.He on the other hand took chance of that moment to run away, heading straight for the barn where he called after the knight, “Ser! Ser! Ser! Wolf! Wolf! Wolf!” but there was no one inside. “Ser? Ser?” still no answer. However, his weapons were there, and Lann immediately grabbed the crossbow.Suddenly as he loaded to kill the wolf, Lann felt a gentle hand place on his shoulder, and then with the other, she took the bolt from it. When he turned, Lann was greeted by the sight of a beautiful girl, a few years older than him, with haunting violet eyes. She was the most beautiful girl he had seen.“I-““Shhh…” she cut him, as she looked outside the barn, before trying to leave the place.“Wait! Don’t go out there, my lady. Don’t go!” he rushed to stop her. “There is a big white wolf out there, a big wolf. The biggest wolf you’ve ever seen and a dead man.”“I know,” she reassured him, hand on his chest but eyes on the outside. After glancing at him, she left the barn.“My lady. Please!” he begged her from behind the door, but nothing. Maybe he was dreaming. Yet his eyes were open. Which means that he was awake while dreaming that he was asleep. Or, more likely, he was asleep, dreaming that he was awake, and wondering if he was dreaming. He was dreaming. Yes, that was the answer to all this madness.Climbing up the ladder to the upper floor of the barn, Lann crawled to the end of it, and through the rail he looked outside, seeing the wolf approach the girl, bend and hug. His mouth fell before seeing her approach the fireplace with the wolf and sitting down. If the beast knew her and she knew him, it meant only one thing.”“Seven protect me. I have not seen what I’ve just seen. I do not believe what I believe. These are magical unexplainable matters, and I want no part in it.”He stayed there hidden for the rest of the night, falling a sleep for a moment, only to awake when he heard the knight call after him. However, when that happened, he saw that the man wasn’t alone. In fact, there was a strange beast with him.“Boy. This is my hawk.”“That doesn’t look like a hawk.”“If I say she is a hawk she is a hawk,” retorted the Man, striking the beast under its snout and Lann heard purring come out. “Her name is Daenerys.”“How do you know it’s a her and not a him.”“I know. Your job is to tend to her and protect her at the cost of your own. If anything happens to her-““You will take my head. I know.”  They roaded for a few miles further south, passing the Wendwater, but stopping when a dark cold fog rises up from nowhere. He was tasked with taking care of the horse, while the man led the way to a more protected place with the so-called hawk on his shoulder. Lann was still not convinced that the beast was a hawk because he had never seen one like that, but his mind was elsewhere at that moment. The maiden from the night before was filling his thoughts.“Last night was the best and the worst of my life. I went from nightmares to dreams in a heartbeat,” Lann said as he sat down by the horse, the clock tightly wrapped around himself.“Why do you say so?”“Because there was a big white wolf in the woods. He killed our host. I thought that I would have died too, but then,” he didn’t finish the words, as he looked up, lost in thought, recalling the maiden's features. “There was a girl, like fine porcelain with haunting violet eyes. And her voice, the dulcet tones of an angel.”“She spoke?” came the surprised voice of the man. “What did she say?”“I asked her if I was dreaming. She said I was.” But he could see the man looking down, undoubtedly thinking he was mad. “I’m not insane, Ser. You must believe me when I tell you these things.”“No, I believe you. I believe in dreams,” the man reassured him, caressingly gently the beast. “This lady, did she perhaps have a name?”“Not that she mentioned. Why?”“She is a deity of the woods who loves to visit men in their dreams when they seek refuge in the woods.”“Have you seen her?” asked Lann eagerly, and the man nodded as he sighed heavily.“Wouldn’t it be nice if I could call her by her name and pretend, we’d met before?” his eyes were lost as the words left him, before he chuckled as he looked up at him, “You know, boy, I’ve waited a long time for such a lady.” Then sighing and wrapping the fur coat around himself and the beast, the man said, “Now get some sleep while we wait for the fog to pass.”“I’ve got to be out of my mind, Winter. Out of my mind,” he said stroking the horse’s leg, as he kneeled to lay next to him. When he awoke a few hours later, the fog was gone, and dusk was upon them. The knight however didn’t wake up, and Lann, seizing the opportunity of the moment, he took the knight's big sword from the horse's saddle and began chopping wood for the evening fire. The sword was large and heavy, which made it very difficult for him to swing. Then, all of a sudden, he felt someone grab the sword from his hands.  “It’s not a toy, boy.” And Lann fell on the ground, scared by the knight. “This is Ice, my House’s sword. It has been wielded by my family for over four hundred years, many times as a ceremonial blade, other times as a weapon of war.” Kneeling, and running his eyes down the blade, the man said, “Do you see the dark and smoky blade? It’s the Valyrian Steel.”“Will you use it in battle too?”“Maybe,” was his answer as he got up. “I will certainly use it to behead someone important.’“Who?”“The Hand of the King.”Hearing that, his eyes widened, as he realized the meaning behind his words and the reason of why he saved his life. Swallowing hard, Lann gave voice to those thoughts, “Well…Well, then you have much to do. And I’ve already been enough of a burned to you. I do hope our paths will cross again one day.”“I don’t think so,” came the man’s voice, as he sheltered the blade and put it on his back. Then approaching him, the man said, “I wandered those lands for almost two years, waiting for the right moment to come. And when I heard the bells of King’s Landing announcing your escape, I knew the moment had come.” Placing a heavy hand on his shoulder, the man added, with a sneer, “You will be my guiding angel, boy.”“I’m sorry for what you have endured, good Ser, but I don’t want to be part of your live,” Lann said as he took a step back. “There are strange forces at work in your life. Magical that surrounds you. I don’t understand them, but they frighten me. You have given me my life when you saved me from the Gold Clocks, and the truth is that I can’t repay you. I have no honour and never will. I’m a bastard born to a whore of the Rock. Never knew my father, my mother died at the hands of one of her customers.”“I’m a bastard too. A Snow.”“Yes, but there is honour in you. And that’s the reason why I think you will not kill me for being what I am. But better that than return to King’s Landing.”“Well. Then you give me no choices,” the man said, hitting him hard enough to make him lose his senses as everything became black.   The night was dark and cold while the moon shone high in the sky, as Dany was chasing after the rabbits, trying to catch one by herself because she was damn hungry, and finally managed to do it when he got in the stuck in a bush. Then suddenly, she heard someone call her, “Lady! Up here!” and looking up Dany saw the boy from the night before tied to a tree. “You remember me, my lady?”She groaned at the loss of the prey, before sighing, “What are you doing up there?”“What am I doing? Yes, you might ask that,” came the boy’s words as he struggled with the ropes. “The Gold Clocks found me. A dozen of them, along with the Red one. We had a terrible fight.”And she immediately was worried for him, while looking around, finding only Winter and his weapons there, “Why didn’t they kill you?”“Why didn’t they? That’s a good question, my lady. I asked them that myself.”“And what did they say?”“They said that they preferred to leave that honour to the Kingslayer,” was his answer, and her mood dropped upon hearing the name of that asshole that wears the white clock of an honourable order. “But they will be back.”“They are, are they?” her eyebrow arching thinking that it may be a lie.“Please, my lady. A giant beast examined me quiet closely not one moment ago.” He sounded so desperet and frightened. “Please.” She sighed, chuckling, as she pulled out a dagger, and cut off the ropes. “Thank you, my lady, thank you. You are very kind.”Suddenly a strange noise reached her ears, and she immediately looked around, getting afraid that they may be close. “Listen,” she addressed the boy, only to find out that he was gone. Then she heard him shout from the distance, “Thank you very much, my lady, and tell the knight he tied a wicked knot.”That's it! Another mess she has made. He is gonna kill her.  He has run for two days and nights without even stopping to take a piss afraid that the girl has worn the knight, or that the wolf will get him. Thanks to the Seven, he managed to leave the Kingswood and reach the Dornish Mountains from the Stormlands, finding there a refuge. However, while trying to see if the knight was close, Lann lost sight of what was behind, and then a pointed sword came to his throat, “Well, well, well. What do we have here? The thief of King’s Landing.” Yanking him, the man questioned. “Where is Snow? Where is he?!”“Oh, yes, yes, the brutish northman man with the ugly horse. I…I saw him riding North to King’s Landing,” stammered out the words. “He said…he said he wanted to kill the Hand…He-““You are lying,” the man retorted, pushing the blade further and Lann felt the blood come out.“You know, Ser, it’s not polite to assume somebody is a liar when you’ve just met them.”The man chuckled, as he said, “You knew that we wouldn’t believe you when you made the lie. We will set a trap and then we will catch him.”As stated, the men set the trap for the knight, with him hiding with them but with blades at his throat, while crossbows and swords were getting ready. And after a few moments, the neighing came, with the so-awaited knight approaching and falling straight into the trap.Lan knew he had to act, to warn him. Luckily, the Seven made him very flexible, and thanks to that he could twirl his arms and bring his hands forth. Taking off his gag, he shouted, “Run!”“Damn you!” the Kingsguard hit him, before commanding the men to reveal. “Attack!”They obeyed, coming out, and charging all together towards the knight, who immediately started to shoot with his crossbow, before unleashing one of his swords and engaging them. However, he wasn’t the only one to fight the enemy. While the knight was engaging the men, the beast came from the sky, breathing fire, and burning some. It wasn’t something big, but it was enough to help the knight.Lann did the same, grabbing some stones from the ground and started throwing them at the men, but drawing their attention on him, only for them to be knocked by the knight who threw himself on them with the great sword in hand. When the beast from the sky got hit by a bolt and fell down to the ground, however, the knight roared cutting one of his opponents with a loud roar, before turning his attention to the other foes, cutting down through them as if they were made of butter. He killed everyone till only the Kingsguard remained alive.“I’m glad the others died. It means that I won’t have to share the prize with the others,” the Kingsguard said, pointing his sword, but he was no match for the knight, who parrying the blow, took the man’s head off with a spin of sword. The Kingsguard's dead body fell to the ground. It took the man but a heartbeat to recover before rushing to the wounded bird. Kneeling, the man tried to reassure the flying beast, “Easy. You’ll be all right.” Then turning to him, the man shouted. “Fin my horse! Give me a piece of cloth from the saddlebag.” Returning to the beast, he keeps reassuring her. “Easy. Don’t be afraid. It’s all right. It’s all right.”Lann rushed to find Winter, and then lead him to the man. Then he fumbled through the bag before giving it to the man.“Thank you.” The man took the cloth as he bent to take care of the beast. “You will be all right. You will be fine. You will live.” Then picking her up, the knight said, “Take her to Storm’s End. There is someone who can help her there. Tell them I send you.”“Me? But-”“Get on my horse. He is strong and fast."“But you are the only one who can ride him,” retorted Lann, knowing how much the stud hated him.“You will do as I tell you,” the man retorted, grabbing his shirt. “Get on my horse, now!” Lann took a deep breath, getting up. “Careful.” He held the beast gently, and the moment she was in his arms, Lann felt as if his whole body was on fire. “Know this, boy, if you fail, I will follow you the length of my days. And I will find you,” the man rasped out the words. Then slapping the horse, he shouted the words. “Go. Run!”Lann rode away, but when he glanced behind, he saw the knight fall to the ground. Maybe his days weren’t so long. Maybe he should drop the beast and go his way. But despite the way the knight treated him, Lann knew that he couldn’t let the man down.He rode fast and hard like the winds of the north, despite the rising chilling and the coming of the rain. When he finally managed to reach the castle, the sun was almost gone, and halting the horse a few miles from it, Lann whispered to the beast, “There it is, see? Strom’s End. Let’s hope they won’t kill me too,” while trying to stroke her under the snout as the man used to do, but the beast tried to bite him and he immediately pulled away, “Well. Well, that’s gratitude from you. I will let these…friends watch over your death. I’ve got my own life to live after.”The moment he reached the gates, Lann heard someone shout from the top of the high walls, “Halt! Who goes there?”“Um...Lann...Just Lann.”“What business are you taking to Storm's End, just Lann?”“I was told to bring you this…bird,” retorted Jon not finding the proper word to describe it. “It’s been wounded.”The men started laughing, and one of them said, “Go away, boy. And take your bird with you. Unless you want to see mine.” And at such words, the laughter grew louder.“You like to laugh at the misfortunes of others. That's not very kind of you. I hope there will be someone there to laugh at your misfortunes when Jon Snow finds out you let his bird die.”After the words, he turned his horse, but before he could take a step, Lann heard the same man question him, "Jon Snow did you say?"“Yes!”“Open the gates! Inform Lord Gendry that Jon Snow is here!”Lann turned the horse and headed inside where four men led him to the main keep. While getting down, Lann said, “Take care of him too. He is Jon Snow's stud. He will not be happy if he is not well cared and fed and stable.""Take him to the stables, and take care of him," one of the men said to a high-looker, before turning to him. “Move along.”"Oh, I forgot to say, if anything happens to me, the knight won't be happy at all."The man was not happy with the way he had spoken, as he growled at him. "Move."When he stepped inside, Lann was greeted by the sight of a big hall with a stone throne, and a young man sitting upon it. He had short hair, and his face had no beard. The man was wearing expensive garments with lavish embroidery, and on his hip, he had tied a sword.“I was told you are here on Jon Snow’s behalf.”“Yes, my lord. I bring her,” Lann said, showing the beast and the man was immediately upon his feet.“Send after Sam,” the Lord of Storm’s End commanded, and a man rushed away, while the Lord addressing him, said, “Come. She will stay in my room. They are the most comfortable and warmest rooms in the castle.”Lann followed him, up the stairs and then to the supposed rooms. After that, he laid the beast on the bed, while finding himself asking, “Do you know what she is?”“Yes. A little dragon. A dragonlady to be more precise,” the Lord answered, but before Lann could ask more, a sturdy man entered and rushed to the bed. “Come. Now we have no business inside here.”He obeyed, leaving the room, but not before glancing behind and seeing a girl lying there on the bed instead of the beast. The girl from that night. The girl who freed him. The Lord however pushed him to move.“Wait!” he heard the struggling voice of the girl, and Lann stopped. “Jon…is he-“ she tried to get up, despite having the bolt in her shoulder.“I don’t know. I saw him fall down. But his last words were all for you,” said Lann, and heard the girl chock back a sob, as the sturdy man tried to reassure her and shush.Once outside, the Lord of Strom’s End led him to a room where there was a table with some food. And his belly immediately growled at the sight of that gift from the Seven.“Suite yourself and tell me what happened.”Lann didn’t have to be told twice, sitting at the table and getting food as much as possible, while answering, “There was a battle. Ser Jon fought like a true lion.”“A wolf. He is a wolf, not a lion. He hates the lions”“Yes. That I saw when he saved me from Jaime Lannister,” said Lann, taking a bit, and swallowing all with some good wine. “Then, in the heat of the battle, the be…I mean the dragonlady got hit by a wondering bolt.” Stopping, to take another bit of meat and a gulp of wine, Lann asked, “Who is she? Is she flesh? Or is she spirit?”“She is sorrow,” was the Lord’s answer as he sighed, looking down. “Her name is Daenerys, and she is what remains of House Targaryen. She lived her whole life as a prisoner in the Red Keep, and when she finally found happiness, she lost it because of my greed.”“What?” Lann’s mouth dropped, and he almost choked on his food. Suddenly a loud scream reached his ears, followed by a louder howl of a wolf. When it happened, the Lord moved to the window, and while looking out, he said, “He is out there, and if she dies…may the Seven protect us all. Get some sleep. I will wake you once she will be all right.”Pushing away the plate, Lann asked, “It’s him, isn’t it? The big white wolf.”“Drink, eat, and sleep on it. Pry that with the coming of dawn, the memory will fade.”  He was awake an hour before dawn and was led to the Lord. Upon entering, Lann heard him say, “You will be happy to hear that she is alive and well. Sam took good care of her, watching over her during the night.”“If I may ask, what did you mean by greed?”The lord showed him the chair, and Lann sat down as the servants were filling his plate, “I was born in King's Landing, to a girl of humble origins who worked at an alehouse, and who died when I was still a young boy. I worked all my life as a blacksmith, you can’t imagine the tough life of a bastard.”“I do, my lord. I’m a bastard too. I was in King’s Landing to meet him but sadly I ended up in the black dungeons.”“Who is your father?”“I don’t know,” Lann lowered his head because that was a lie and he knew that the Seven don’t like those who lie. “Who was yours, my lord?”“His grace, King Robert Baratheon,” the Lord said, and his mouth dropped again. He never met the king in question but heard so many stories about the famous Demon of the Trident who ended up the greatest dynasty of this world. “The Lord Hand was kind enough to make me Lord of Storm’s End, but then I was too young and too stupid to understand the consequences.”“And the knight? How did you meet him.”“That’s a long story that I don’t have time to share. I’m a busy Lord,” the man retorted getting up, “You may finish your meal, but then you will have to leave.” Right at that moment, a knock at the door interrupted them, and a soldier stepped in. “What is it?”“The King’s envoys, my lord. Jaime Lannister is leading the party. There are many inside the walls and even more outside, my Lord. At least two hundred men.”“Go to the Princess,” the Lord said, grabbing his sword and leaving the room. Lann of course followed on his steps. They rushed down the stairs of the keep, and the moment they reached the Great Hall, Lann saw a few dozen of men gathered there. Some were wearing red clocks and red armor, while others were yellow and golden. When the party of red men stepped aside, they revealed the Kingslayer sitting on the stone throne of the Lord, sword out.“Ser Jaime, what an honor. The famous Kingslayer in my home.”“Lord Baratheon,” the Lannister man nodded, with his cocky sneer. “Or should I say Lord Waters? It takes more than a title to make a bastard a lord.” Then his eyes turned to him. “Well found, boy. The hangman is waiting for you on the steps of the Sept of Baelor.”“Then I regret that I have to make him wait a little longer. The Seven wants me somewhere else.”The man scoffed, as he got up from the throne, “I am here as an envoy of the king, bastard. The king that made you Lord. But it also means that my authority is higher than yours. Now you will bring me the girl, and send out your men to find the Northman.”“You are right. It takes a lot more to make a bastard a lord. Like betraying a friend. A mistake I do not intend to repeat,” retorted the Lord of Storm’s End, as he pulled out the blade. “Although I am better with the hammer, I have been making blades all my life, and I have trained over and over with the sword.”“Then it's time to put your skills to the test.”The men in the hall stepped aside, as the two challengers approached the middle of the hall, swords drawn. Then each one took a different fighting position. Not to mention the expressions they had. After a moment of hesitation, the blades touched, and a dance of swords began in the room. Both of them were good, but Lann could tell that the Kingslayer was much better, and even held back his attacks. The Lord of Storm’s End on the other hand was enraged. When their weapons touch, and each were pushing, the Kingslayer said, with a sneer, "I was told you were in love with a Stark. A pity she didn’t want to marry a bastard.” And the Lord roared, pushing him back, before starting to throw charged blows. “Yes. The Baratheon Fury that clouds your mind.”Hearing that, Lann knew it was time to sneak out, and like a shadow he left the Hall and the clash behind him. He run up the stairs, trying to find the Lord’s room. The moment he did, Lann burst in, calling her, “My lady!” and saw the Maester tending to her. “How is she?”“Alive,” came her voice, weak but steady, and Lann immediately rushed to her side, grabbing her hand.“You need to flee, my lady.”“What? Why?” she asked, trying to get up, gritting her teeth.“The Lannister are her,” was his answer, as he helped her down from the bed. “Is there a way to leave the place without going through the main door?”“Ehm…no, no.”Lan however did not listen leaving the rooms, helping her out of the room. The moment they were outside, the sound of clashing swords was filling the hallways and a few moments later, they saw a bleeding Lord of Storm’s End came to their side.“They are too many and too skilled for my men to fight them,” the Lord said, as he pointed the sword. “The sun will soon rise. Go to the top and wait, my lady. I will hold them back as long as can.”“No,” the lady tried to stop him, but he didn’t listen. Laying a hand on her cheek, he said, “Tell Jon that I’m sorry.”They parted ways, and he led the dragonlady up the stairs to the top of the tower, while the Lord went the other way. It was a tough path for a wounded girl, especially when they had to climb the ladder. But when they finally reached it, he heard the lady say, “Leave me and flee. They are after me.”“Don’t flatter yourself, my lady.”“What’s your name?”“Lann, my lady. Lann Hill.”“Are you from the Westerlands?” asked the lady, and he nodded. At that moment, the battering on the door came, and they immediately came forward, clutching at each other's bodies. They managed to break it, and from below appeared the man himself. Jaime Lannister.“Well, well…It's been a long time.”“He will never have me,” the girl retorted, getting up before she weakling climbed the battlements. With arms spread the dragonlady said, “I will only be Jon's. Now and forever. In this life as well as the next."“No!” Lann shouted as she let herself fall.
