it was a typical day at the studio. everyone was getting ready to film, agnes was making sure the two didn’t look like dishrags, all that stuff. "ok guys, in 5, 4, 3, 2..""okay cut!! that was great everyone!!”, someone says. everyone in the studio is moving around trying to get from place to place at the same time its actual chaos, lighthearted chaos. "lawrence? LAWRENCE!", toni yelled. lawrence flinched and turned to look at toni, eyes wide. toni raised and eyebrow and crouched farther down to get to lawrence’s’ chair level. "dude, are you okay?", toni asked. "uhh ya. yea.", lawrence said, he was slowly disconnecting his eye contact with toni and then was just zoned out , looking into the abyss with an expression of nothingness. toni had this concerned look on his face, he never liked seeing lawrence or basically anyone he knew in unease, even though lawrence had not a single thought running through his mind. lawrence sat their, he had this hole in the back of his mind, its consuming every single thing inside. it’s like a warning. like something is about to happen.. then suddenly "lawrence petrov and toni mitchell, please come to the creator control center. thank you."everyone and everything went dead silent. you could hear literally nothing, because of how quiet it was."is…that who i think it is?..", james spoke up. everyone shared a glance. they all knew she wouldn’t make an announcement unless it was something extraordinary. but no, this one. her tone was different . lawrence and toni looked at each other anxiously, but they knew they couldn’t keep her waiting. they slowly made their way to the nearest elevator, they got in, toni looked at all the buttons. the "control center" one was all dusty, since it wasn’t been used in over a decade. could’ve been more years but no body really cared to go explore since it would cause major consequences. toni pressed the button and then the elevator door closed. both of them now had unhappy expressions. lawrence looked like he was about to start having a panic attack and toni looked mildly disappointed, yet deep down he was kind of excited to see what she had to offer for both of them. finally, the elevator made that sound, they were there. the door opened and toni went out. lawrence was way too scared to move, toni looked back and had a subtle smile. "come on, it’ll be fine.", toni said. he put his hand out, hoping lawrence would take it and come out. lawrence slightly blushed when toni did that. but, he knew he couldn’t stand there forever. he held tonis hand and walked out. he was shaking but still walking, he was just so anxious on what she would say. toni let go of lawrences hand and then they started making their way to the creators room. the floor was quiet, really quiet. the sound tonis boots made it really awkward. after a few minutes of emotionless walking. they were finally there."moment of truth?", toni says while smiling at lawrence. lawrence looked back at toni with the opposite expression. he wondered why toni could stay so happy in situations like these. toni grabbed the door handle and opened the door. oh wow..right at the center of the room was a desk, two chairs, and her. the creator of ewlat.toni and lawrence were stunned. they couldn’t believe they were in the same room of their own creator. "hello boys.", the creator smiled. the two were silent out of amazement. toni spoke up, "oh my god, miss shea, it’s such an honor oh my god..". sheas expression changed. she sighed, "im sorry, guys. but this isn’t a happy meeting.". tonis expression changed as well. his smile dropped and his eye’s widened. lawrences worried expression grew more intense."it’s been a long run, guys. you now have 15 whole seasons in your show, you should be proud.", the creator smiled, "but, you can’t have good things without some wrecking ball crash into it.. ive been noticing on my social media that.. people don’t care about you anymore."lawrence looked down while tonis crossed expression grew more intrigued."ive stopped using twitter unless it’s something really important like arcane or my girlfriend. so i don’t really post you guys anymore. and my tumblr has been really dry recently. cheeseballsack and averagekindergartenfan, your biggest fans have…. lost interest in you guys..", the creator said in distress"what are you trying to say here, miss shea?..", toni said, getting closer."im saying that maybe it’s time you guys take a break. im discontinuing ewlat until i feel like posting you guys again." "WHAT?!", lawrence and toni yelled in unison. "that includes james, agnes, everyone. im not firing you but, it’s what you call it?.. an indefinite hiatus. ", the creator explained."NO NO NO! miss shea please you CANT do this!!", toni yelled, trying to keep himself calm. he glanced over at lawrence who was crying, streams of tears were pouring down his face as he bites his nails as also a way to keep himself from going crazy right there. "look, dont stress. without the pressure of this show you wouldn’t have to worry about a thing anymore..", the creator said "DONT STRESS?! THIS SHOW WAS MY BIGGEST PROJECT! I PITCHED IT! I WORKED FOR IT DAY AND NIGHT!", toni shouted even louder."toni please-", the creator said rubbing her forehead "NO! WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS TRYING TO RUIN OUR LIVES?!", toni interrupted "BECAUSE MAYBE I HAVE A LIFE TOO!!", the creator stood up and shouted.the room went silent. lawrence was so scared on what will happen next, he’s darting his eyes back and forth between toni and the creator. he’s begging himself not to make a sound while he’s crying because he knows everyone’s already going through a lot right now. toni looked down in guilt. "miss shea.", lawrence said bringing himself together. they both look at him. "if that’s your choice… then okay. we’ll take the break."toni rolled his eyes and looked at the creator waiting for the final response. "…it’s been a pleasure working with you two.", the creator said while closing her eyes.the two men nodded. the creator sent them out to go to their homes.when they both came back to the studio area, everyone was gone. except agnes and james."..what did she say?", agnes said, walking slowly to the two. toni clenched his jaw and grinded his teeth and lawrence wiped his tears from his face. agnes’ eyes softened and then she looked down with sadness. james got up and exchanged glances with everyone. what will we do now?

lawrence laid on the floor of his apartment. he was too tired to hyperventilate , or basically do anything. he couldn’t believe it, 10 years of work is gone. gone to waste because nobody cares about him and toni. lawrence couldn’t help but let out a few tears. as they fell, more and more start to build up and stream down together. lawrence managed to gather up the strength to toss himself on his side so that he’s not drowning in a pool of his own making. "what’s the point..", lawrence mumbled from under his breath. he was fighting intense sobs but it was way too strong and it took over. lawrence covered his eyes with his hands, gripping tightly out of anger. so angry he just wanted to rip his skin off. lawrence got up and went to his kitchen. he opened his alcohol cabinet and took 2 whole bottles of vodka and a pack of cigarettes. he walked back to his area on the floor and sat there. he unscrewed the cap for the alcohol and started drinking. he drank faster than he ever could. in the matter of 5 minutes the bottle was done. lawrences eyes welled with tears and then he threw the bottle to the wall. glass shards flying across the room. lawrence proceeded to open the second bottle and drink it quickly once again. lawrence finished both of the two bottles in 10 minutes, wow. he suddenly felt really nauseous and after a few seconds he found himself looking down at a pile of vomit. lawrence sobbed so hard that he collapsed to the ground and then he felt."i can’t breathe.", lawrence thought, he was unable to move. it felt as if he was chained to the ground. he started to cough up some blood, his eyes widening. "what the fuck is happening to me?..". suddenly he felt a burning pain, it spread from his stomach to his chest to his arms, all the way to his entire body."is this the end?.", lawrence thought through all this agonizing pain. in an instant, lawrence felt his body become weak and his heart was pounding. he knew, he just knew , he’s not going to stay much longer. lawrence let out a final gasp of air hoping his lungs would open up. and then, it stops.toni got out of the apartment elevator. he was still ticked off about the event that recently happened. he thought that atleast having a chat with lawrence would soothe his feelings.he knocked on the door. usually, lawrence would open it as soon as toni finished knocking, but he didn’t come.toni was confused, "lawrence?", he knocked again. silence. toni was now getting worried. he checked if the door was locked, yep. he looked through the door hole, nothing. his feeling built up quickly. "lawrence, buddy, come onn.. i know you’re in there..", toni shook the doorknob eagerly. toni went so far as to kick the door down and get in. only to his horrors to find the unfortunate end of his best friend."HOLY SHIT, LAWRENCE?!?!", toni put his hands on his mouth in pure disgust and shock. "FUCK FUCK FUCK..", toni says as he calls the ambulance. "hello 911, what’s your emergency?""COME QUICK, SOMEONES NOT BREATHING !!"

toni is sitting in a chair outside of the ER. one of his legs are shaking up and down out of impatience and anxiety. he’s absolutely scared for his life right now. he wants to cry but he knows he has to be strong, strong for lawrence.it’s been a few hours waiting, he didn’t care. he felt that he could wait a millennia if it was for his best friend. he just needs to know if he’s safe, it’s mandatory. every few 30 minutes he’d check the door to see if anyone would open it. it was hopeless, toni was begging his sanity to stay for as long as he’s there. only for lawrence, he repeated millions of times in his head."hello, sir? are you here for mr petrov?", a female doctor said.toni jumped in his seat. he was so zoned out trying to stay calm he forgot there was actually something he was waiting for. "y-yes! is he okay? what’s wrong? please.." he put his hands together like he was praying. the doctor shook her head and said, "im sorry sir but, you’re friend had a severe attack. and due to all his smoking in the past there’s no cure."tonis expression went blank. "no cure"? he felt himself become numb. after a few minutes of silence he said, "can i see him atleast?..". the doctor thought for a moment. "right now he’s in terrible shape, i suggest after 2 days you could visit." toni let out a sigh of relief, his hope worked. he would be able to see lawrence in just some time. toni tried not to think about lawrences future while on the ride home plus those empty two days. he just focused on being strong for lawrence and making him feel better. he decided to get a gift for him. he wondered what exactly lawrence would want. he always knew lawrence never hinted that he wanted something physical so it was a hard long 5 hours thinking. he finally got it. he got in his car and drove over to agnes’. he eagerly knocked on her door and when she answered he excitedly explained why he was there and asked for the gift. agnes looked at toni like he was crazy while he was talking a mile a minute but understood out of sympathy. she dug through her puppet stuff and gave it to toni. he smiled and said his goodbyes. agnes watched as toni left and smiled to herself. "he really loves him, doesn’t he?", she whispered to herself and then closed the door.it was the day toni could see lawrence. he put on his enthusiastic attitude and drove over to the hospital. he went over to the check in station and asked where lawrence was. the person working there told him he’s still in the ER but since toni was booked as a visitor he could go in. toni smiled brightly and quickly made himself to the room where lawrence was. he opened the door and saw lawrence, just laying on his side."lawrence!", toni slightly-loudly said to lawrence to catch his attention. lawrence got up and turned his head to look at where the noise was coming from. "toni?..", he said quietly. toni walked towards him and bombarded him with questions, compliments, and saying how much he missed him and how worried he was, but, all lawrence could do was, smile. toni smiled back and said, "hey! look what i got you!!", he pulled out the gift from his bag he was carrying. lawrence gently held it, "..agnes’ puppet of me?..". "yeah! dont you like it?", toni asked. lawrences eyes softened, "oh toni.. i love it..", he giggled and held it close. they both shared big grins and talked a bit about general stuff. but then lawrence realized something while talking, his gaze went sad and toni asked what’s wrong. "toni..", lawrence sniffed, "i dont think i have much time now.. ill miss every moment i spent with you i promise.". toni looked at lawrences face, his eyes were watery and his lips were quivering. toni felt a wave of sadness come over him and then he immediately hugged lawrence. lawrence rubbed his eyes and rested his head on tonis shoulder. and then, the same female doctor walked in and said visiting time is over. lawrence looked toni in the eyes and smiled. toni smiled back and said his goodbyes. but something really stuck with him. he noticed how sad lawrence was and it pierced a hole in his heart. he kept telling himself to be strong though. waiting for the next visit.it’s been a few weeks and toni hasn’t heard anything regarding a visit from the hospital. he tries to keep calm but he couldn’t help himself from crying a few times. he just wants lawrence to be safe. and then, suddenly, toni got a call. it was the hospital.toni immediately got in his car and drove to the hospital. he couldn’t believe it, no no no. lawrence wasn’t going to die, he isn't. he got inside the hospital and asked the check in person where was lawrence. they told toni he’s still in that ER but toni didn’t care. he made his way to the room where lawrence was and he saw the door was locked. he banged on the door and yelled, "LAWRENCE! LAWRENCE PLEASE!!". he was sweating and tears were welling in his eyes. he desperately tried to get the door open and then the door unlocked. it was her, the doctor. she looked like she was about to cry too. she guided toni to lawrence and he looked in horror to see his best friend in his final moments. "LAWRENCE!!", toni cried out. lawrence looked at him eyes wide with tears streaming down his face. he knew it himself that he was going to die any moment now. toni ran over and hugged and cried. "LAWRENCE NO PLEASE!!! I CANT LIVE WITHOUT YOU!!", tears were dripping out uncontrollably from tonis eyes. lawrence was sobbing seeing how stressed toni was. he hugged toni back and said, "i-im sorry toni..". toni gripped onto him tightly until he heard the heart monitor beeping and then. it stopped. "NO. NOO!!!! LAWRENCE FUCK NO!!!! LAWRENCE PLEASE! DONT DIE ON ME!", toni yelled. he planted his face onto the hospital bed and aggressively cried for a long time. the doctor couldn’t help but cry too by looking at the scene. she gathered up the courage to tell toni that he must leave now so the doctors can discuss what to do. toni stared at lawrence for a few seconds and then nodded his head. he got up and left the hospital. on the drive home he was silent but as soon as he set foot in his apartment he burst down crying on his doormat. he couldn’t believe it. lawrence is dead..

october 1, 2062. tonis whole world was gray and silent. he couldn’t believe it even after so many years that, lawrence was gone. toni nowadays regularly went out to drink. he completely let himself go after what happened. he’s still in touch with agnes and james and those other people but he’s shifted. his whole personality, mindset, and lifestyle changed after that day. if only it didn’t happen, toni thinks to himself oftentimes.toni arrives at the bar he usually goes to. he’s now their regular costumer and totally lifted up their business and kept them running. it should seem like a good thing to the people who own the bar, but when the customer is so miserable that they make products run out, you’ve got to listen to them once i guess.toni sits himself down at a seat and a bartender comes over. "ugh, again, toni?", they say. "not now, ava.", toni replies while giving them a dirty look. the bartender smirks and makes toni roll his eyes. they turn around and passes toni his drink. their expression changes quickly. toni raised an eyebrow. he wasn’t looking for anyone’s pity at all. he believed he was fine and that lawrence was fine up there and that no one should care and leave him alone. just like how they did when lawrence was alive. "what is it.", toni asked sternly. ava’s eyebrows dug deeper down to look like they were too anxious to talk. toni tsked and finished his glass. the bartender spoke up, "…have you seen yourself toni?.". toni paused and replied, "..what do you mean?", avoiding eye contact."y'know.. you were never here until a year ago.. you were a straight edge guy, right? what happened to that?", ava said, their tone getting more serious. toni was too fazed to speak. he thought about it. what the hell was he doing to himself? he was completely perfect back then. never drank, never smoked, never did anything bad. he betrayed his word, his band mates, everything. tonis eyes began to swell with tears. he realized, hes not fine. hes a dipshit. a loner. a loser. he lost .. everything. toni felt a volcano of rage grow inside him. he yelled at the bartender, "OH MY GOD, SHUT UP.". ava screamed in shock,"toni-". "JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP! I CAME HERE EVERY SINGLE DAY OF A YEAR JUST TO ESCAPE REALITY! THE CRUEL WORLD AND THE EVENTS THAT HAPPENED IN THE PAST!", toni interrupted. "toni. listen to me-""IT WAS MY FAULT HE DIED!", toni screamed with tears flooding down his face, "I SHOULDVE BEEN THERE WHEN HE DID THAT STUPID SHIT! I WAS SO ANGRY ABOUT LOSING MY JOB THAT I FORGOT ABOUT THE REASON I GOT THAT FUCKING JOB. HE WAS SUPPOSED TO LIVE LONG ENOUGH THAT WE COULD HAVE EACH OTHER AND BE FRIENDS FOREVER! IF WE DIDNT GET THAT NEWS, THIS WOULDVE NEVER HAPPENED!!!""TONI!"he stopped yelling. his throat was sore and his eyes hurt. this was the worst moment of his life. all his friends were gone. the one person who was there with open arms now had a disgusted look on their face. he’s become a completely different man. he continued abstaining eye contact with his last acquaintance. he felt all sweaty and tired like he could pass out right there and then. but, something was stopping him. he knew there was something important to do. something that couldn’t waste time talking to ava or anyone for. toni immediately fled to his car. ava jumped in her spot and yelled out, "toni?!", looking out the window and seeing his car pull out and rapidly move away. avas face softened. she was just glad he wasn’t there to cause any more trouble in her life. oh well.toni arrived. he went to his house for a quick second and then went to his actual destination. the graveyard.he made his was along all the many graves. he looked at all of them with eyes of sorrow. so many lives, lost. of course, it wasn’t tonis fault at all. but, it was a part of toni. he’s always had that kind of reaction when it came to death and anything melancholy. he shook his head and walked to his desired grave. it took a few minutes to understand how the system of the graveyard worked and how to find who’s who, even so, toni found it. there it was. lawrences grave. it read, "lawrence petrov, a son, a brother", and this caught tonis attention the most, "a friend". he stared at that for a long time. he smirked. he knew damn well lawrence wasn’t willing to have any other friends than him. toni thought that was kind of selfish of himself but he couldn’t help it. lawrence was so special to him. toni started, "hey buddy, it’s been so long.", he kneels down to be at the grave’s level, "just wanted to wish you a happy birthday. i also wish you lived long enough to experience the joy of celebrating with everyone. with me…". toni sits down on the grass and rests himself against the grave. "things are…complicated. i felt as if ive became someone i would despise. if you could see me right now… id be so grateful that atleast you’re here…", he said softly. tonis eyes were moist. he wasn’t going to cry but he felt sadness occur in his mind. "im sorry, lawrence. i miss you. every single day.", toni continues. he eventually gets up and gets ready to leave. but he does one, last thing. "here’s your present lawrence. happy birthday, friend.". he puts a bouquet of flowers that had lawrences over all color pallet of greens, reds, and pale blues. and an envelope. finally, toni takes a sigh and walks to the exit of the graveyard. the letter read;"hey l, it’s been a few years since you passed. here’s some things ive always wanted to tell you: i love you. i love everything about you. your hair, your eyes, your smile, your everything. i wish i didn’t waste my time with you and take it for granted. i wish i could stay with you for eternity, if that will exist. i hope it’s better up there. maybe ill be there with you one day. someday.i love you, lawrence petrov."

it’s a been a few weeks since that visit to the graveyard. toni stopped going to the bar or anything, really. it’s just been a gray area these past days. all toni can really respond to anything was "whatever". it wasn’t a bad whatever, yet, neither was it a good one. like i said it’s just been a blank life for toni. it was just a normal day for him, the normal i just explained that is. to shift that around, toni got up to go an visit lawrence again. it wasn’t like lawrence was alive again or anything, he just liked those visits. he got ready and then started his car to go there. it wasn’t far away or close enough to walk but it really didn’t matter. after a few minutes, toni arrived at the graveyard. it was less depressing from the last time toni was there. it had this light of hope which toni was confused by. he shook that thought out and got out of the car and walked over to lawrences grave. he made it. it wasn’t anything special but, it’s lawrence. and he meant a lot for toni. "hey l", toni said, "it’s been a few weeks since i last talked to you."silence. i mean, that would be obvious since toni was the only one there. but it was silent. you couldn’t hear anything nearby. it was like the world was trying to listen to what toni had to say. but that obviously wasn’t the reason..was it?"i really wish you were still here..i miss you..", toni mumbled while fighting back tears. he didn’t want to cry right now after years of crying. he wanted to be normal just this once. but, tonis emotions got the better of him and then he started crying. then sobbing. he fell to his knees and cried and cried for a long time. but out of nowhere, while toni was crying, the sky got brighter. toni slowly looked up to see what was happening. toni gasped. he couldn’t believe it, literally couldn’t. the clouds were opening and letting a beaming light pass through. it was like the heavens were opening and sending something down. well something did come down.lawrence.toni froze. he was absolutely speechless. he saw lawrences figure float down from the inside of the light. toni blinked to make sure he was actually seeing it. it was real. it was so fucking real. finally, lawrences feet touched the ground. he looked so different. for starters, his body was covered in angelic patches. it left toni stunned to believe that that is the same person who was his friend for years. and he had wings. angel wings. he came back from the dead. and all he did was stare at toni. toni stared at him back. it was an awkward moment of staring until lawrence smirked and said,"stop crying, you look like a baby."toni smiled and ran to hug lawrence. "OH MY GOD OH MY GOD, LAWRENCE!!!!! OH MAN, I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!". he held onto lawrence tightly. lawrence was shocked. even thought there was no reason to be he was taken aback from the sudden change in mood of the situation. a small thing can change someone’s life. lawrence exhaled and hugged toni back. it was a warm and soft feeling. reuniting with someone you thought you lost forever. toni let go of lawrence to look at him again. he was smiling and crying like crazy. he still couldn’t believe that his friend was alive. and happy.. "so.. what did i miss?", lawrence asked, looking toni in the eyes. toni grinned and picked up the letter he left for lawrence those few weeks ago. lawrence raised an eyebrow. he took the letter and hesitated. he wondered what was in there. he quickly opened it and read the letter. toni was confused why lawrence was staring at it for a while but then he got jumpscared by lawrence pouncing a hug on him. he was smiling even more now and toni was just glad he was there. lawrence looked up and toni and told toni a thank you under his breath. but there was one more thing."are you sure that was it?.. check inside the envelope again..", toni chuckled.lawrence was getting intrigued by this little scheme toni had. he eagerly looked in the envelope and found it. lawrence gasped. his jaw dropped. he took it out of the envelope and just stared and it. it was a ring."lawrence petrov, we’ve been friends for years and more. and i ask you now.. will you marry me?", toni said smoothly.lawrences mouth was still opened. he was shaking and his eyes were welling with tears as they darted between toni and the ring. but after a few minutes. lawrences mouth faded into a big, happy smile and he hugged toni tighter than ever."YES, TONI!! YES YES YES!!!!", lawrence laughed and cried as toni hugged him back gently. they were both crying and smiling out of pure joy and then lawrence looked directly at toni, toni looked directly at lawrence. then they slowly, leaned in, and kissed. their first kiss. they broke the kiss and lawrence put his hands on tonis face. he was the happiest he’s ever been in his entire life. to the both of them, they are each others happiness. and they’ll be happy together. forever.
