Tamaki slowly rose from his comfortable bed, his flushed face feeling as if it were on fire and his throat felt like it was ravished in thorns. He loudly let out a nasty cough that he could feel deep in his chest, giving him heartburn.“Fuuuuck,” He complained, dramatically dragging out the vowel sound.Tamaki immediately rushed to grab his boujee flip phone. Quickly typing out his last words, as he would put it. “I'm dyingg.” Almost straight away, he got a message from the ‘mean’ Kyoya that read, “Boohoo Tamaki, get a grip.”Hurt and heartbroken, Tamaki childishly pouted at the bright screen and shut his phone off. “Who is going to save me now that I’m sick?” He whined noisily, immediately stopping when he got an idea.He rushed to open his phone back up, messaging Haruhi, “haruhi~ I'm sick… and I need helpppp.”After a minute or two he received a quick text back from her. “You have maids, upon maids, upon maids, make them take care of your rich butt.”“Ugh! Why is everyone being so mean today!?” Tamaki pouted, his bottom lip quivering with tears rapidly coming out of his eyes.He slowly took a deep breath and started to type again, “Please? I really want to see you.” He was getting desperate, like, really desperate. He got a message back instantly this time. “Only if you cut off some of my debt. I’m going to have to miss school to take care of your ass so I need something in return.”Ecstatic, Tamaki squealed at the top of his lungs, having him endure a sharp pain in his throat. But as long as he saw Haruhi, he would be forever content. He quickly responded to Haruhi, telling her that someone was going to come and pick her up and bring her to his house.Haruhi paused, but sent a thumbs up in response, sealing the deal.It only took around 35 minutes for Haruhi to arrive, but to him it felt like forever. He quickly rushed down the many staircases to get to her, but stopped in front of her in a coughing fit.“Haruhi! You’re here!” He exclaimed after his lungs recovered, wrapping his arms around her in a tight hug.Haruhi gently and slowly wrapped her arms around Tamaki, leaning into his embrace despite the fact he was terribly sick.“You sound really congested, Senpai.” She observed awkwardly, with a concerned look plastered on her face.Tamaki didn’t respond, choosing to silently dart towards his room with his hand holding onto Haruhi’s small wrist.“Hey! Senpai! Slow down!” Haruhi shrieked, trying to keep up with Tamaki’s pace.Once they made it to Tamaki’s bedroom Haruhi had to pause to catch her breath. “Goodness Senpai, for someone who’s ‘dying’ you can run insanely fast.”He, again, ignored her and laid in his bed. “Take care of me.”“...Part of me feels like you’re into this sort of thing.” She murmured while taking out a small towel, drenching it in cool water, and placing it on Tamaki’s forehead. There was a soft glint of shimmer in Tamaki’s eyes whenever he looked at Haruhi, it was very clear to anyone passing by that the boy was in love with her.“I’m not into anything for your information!” He shouted, defensive and not wanting to reveal the more kinkier side of him.All Haruhi could do was dramatically roll her eyes in response. She knew him, she knew he was lying but she definitely did not want to find out what exactly he was into. It’d probably just disgust her in the end.“Here.” She handed Tamaki a small cough drop while placing the bag of them on his bedside table. “Take them whenever you need to.”Haruhi set out some medicine next to him for his sore throat, stuffy nose, and whatever other diseases this man carried.“Okay, I put a note of how much you’re supposed to take and when, and with that, I’ll be on my way–” But just as Haruhi was about to leave, Tamaki grabbed her arm, stopping her.“Please.. Stay..” Tamaki let out, his voice soft and quiet, with a desperate look in his eyes. She let out a deep and long sigh, “Fine. I’ll stay.”Tired, Haruhi laid next to him in bed and before she knew it his face was laying on her chest and snuggled up into her.“H..Hey! I don’t want to get sick like you!” She stammered over her words, not knowing how to deal with this situation. It’s not like she hated him resting on her chest like a pillow, it was really only about her not wanting to get sick.“You’re super warm though.. And nice to cuddle with.” Tamaki said, practically whispering. He felt such a deep connection with Haruhi and he so wanted to hug and cuddle with her. Plus, even if her breasts were small he still got to lay on them.“Ugh.. Okay.” Her hand lightly ran through Tamaki’s strands of hair, his golden locks gliding against her finger tips. She had never seen this side of him, he wasn’t being loud, obnoxious, a prude or really anything of the sort.He seemed so fragile, so soft, so vulnerable. It made her question whether or not this is a frequent occasion when he was alone and if she was the only one that’s seen this side of him.“Are you okay, Senpai?” She quietly asked, a hint of concern in her voice. He tiredly nodded, not wanting her to worry. “I’m okay, I just like your company.”“I like yours too." Haruhi responded quietly, almost too quiet to hear. But just like any moment with the pair it, of course, had to be ruined, “Excuse me, Master Tamaki.” One of the maids said while she gently creaked the door open. “I have some herbal tea with me, as well as a soft snack for you and the missus.”Tamaki sat up, leaving Haruhi’s warm embrace. “Ah, thank you. You can set it down on the bedside table.”The maid did as she was told, placing the tea gently onto the table, as well as the snacks her and the other maids prepared.“Get well soon, Master.” The maid bowed before leaving the room.“Would you like to try the tea? I know you don’t normally get to taste things with such luxury added to them.” Tamaki commented on Haruhi’s lack of riches.“Oh, shut up.” She rolled her eyes in annoyance. “That tea is for you to drink, you know, since you’re sick. Need I remind you?”Tamaki said nothing, dodging the question while handing the small cup of tea to Haruhi. She took the cup, taking a small sip of the beverage.“This is so… Bitter.” She placed the cup down, wiping her lips with the back of her hand in disgust.Tamaki let out a quiet laugh. “I like my tea bitter.” He explained.“Yeah.. And yet you order a Pumpkin Spice Latte with extra cream whenever we go to get coffee.”“Don’t bring my Pumpkin Spice Latte into this!” Tamaki exaggerated his sentence, turning his head dramatically and making his hair flip with him.Unamused, Haruhi let out a small smile, filled with disgust for a little over a second before turning back into a frown, mocking him silently.“Whatever,” She muttered under her breath and turned away from the taller man.Tamaki hummed in confusion and glanced at Haruhi while he sipped his tea. He set the cup down and moved closer to Haruhi, placing his head on her shoulder.“You’re warm…” He placed his hand on her cheek, moving her head to where she was facing him.A soft hint of pink was seen on her cheeks, “Senpai, stop worrying about me and drink your tea.” She pushed her silk blonde hair out of his eyes, admiring his face. “I can hear the sickness in your voice. I want to hear your beautiful voice again, so come on, take your medicine, and drink your tea.”A shocked face laid upon Tamaki’s face as he turned to take his medicine and drink his tea. His back was facing Haruhi to hide how cherry-red his face was.Getting compliments from Haruhi could’ve killed him just then and then, forget being sick Haruhi was going to be the one to strike him dead. Nonetheless, he took his medicine, drank his tea, and ate his snack.Tamaki handed Haruhi a small plate, “Here, the maids made snacks for the both of us.”“Oh, thank you.” Haruhi took the plate from him, taking a small bite of the sandwich. Her eyes sparkled, eating the rest in one big bite. “That was really good!” She said, her mouth full and her hand over her mouth.A small chuckle escaped Tamaki’s mouth, “I’m glad you like it, I’ll be sure to tell the maids to make it again next time you come over.”Haruhi looked out the gigantic window placed in Tamaki’s room. “It’s already noon? I think I have to get home.”Troubled, a frown plastered on Tamaki’s face. “Okay, well, it was nice spending time with you.”He turned away from her, he didn’t want Haruhi to see him so upset. After all, she was just supposed to take care of him for a little while and he didn’t want to accidently manipulate her into staying by appearing sad.“Gosh, you’re so overdramatic, Senpai.” She placed a soft kiss on his cheek. “You’re acting like you can’t invite me over whenever you want.”She stood up and started towards Tamaki’s bedroom door, leaving a flustered Tamaki in his bed. “Text me if you still feel like you’re ‘dying’ tomorrow.” And with a giggle leaving her lips, she left his room.“What a woman…”
