I Object To This Wedding!
Aunt Hilda hated wearing a plaster cast but she had broken her wrist trying to impress a sexy plumber and this was the price of her flirtations.Suddenly, Aunt Zelda interrupted the TV programme she was watching with a yell of outrage. “That darned Roland is at it again!”“Huh? Hey, I was watching my soaps.”“Hilda, that little gnat Roland wants to marry our niece Sabrina! We have to go to the Other Realm now. He left us a wedding invite. It’ll be easy to locate the vineyard venue.”Hilda pouted. “Can it wait twenty minutes?”“No.”“Do we have to dress up?”“Of course we do! It’s a wedding!”“That we want to stop?”“Sometimes I just want to wear a fancy outfit.”The two women stood outside of the linen closet that was the portal to the Other Realm.“Hurry with those shoes. Are they on?”Hilda hopped about on one foot trying to slip on her high heels. “Nope, now they’re on.”“Great! Let’s go!” “Aunt Hilda! Aunt Zelda!” the teenaged witch cried, dressed in a wedding gown next to her short, male groom-to-be. “Help.”Roland greeted them cordially. “Just nerves from my beautiful fiancée.”Hilda glared. “This is immoral and illegal. I object to this wedding.”“I object!” Zelda added furiously. “Shame on you.”“I object too!” Sabrina said too, awkwardly waiting by the altar. “These shoes are way too tight.”Roland fumed. “Nothing will come between our love!”“Jerk! I love Harvey, not you.”Zelda cast a spell to anchor Roland in place. “A literal ball-and-chain is all you deserve. We’ll have the Other Realm police pick you up. Sabrina, let’s go home.”“Finally!” she said in relief, rushing towards her aunts. “I love you guys!”“We love you too,” Hilda said sentimentally.“What happened to your wrist, Aunt Hilda?”“Plumbing accident.”“Okay. Let’s get outta here!”Zelda smiled. No one stole their niece away against her will.
