On a beautiful mountain top overlooking a waterfallBirds chirping and water flowing in the distance-Wow Poppy, look at that over there! Viva Points over at the waterfall.-Wow, that looks amazing! Poppy says-Poppy, i have a question for you. Branch nervously saysPoppy and Viva turn around to face Branch.-Poppy, you've made me the happiest troll ever. You've changed my life so much in the past few years. Branch says.He gets down on one knee and reaches into his pocket.-Will you marry me? Branch says with a ring in his hand.Poppy and Viva both cover their mouths in shock-Yes Branch! I will! Poppy says.Poppy puts out her left hand.Branch puts the ring around Poppy's finger.Poppy runs over to Viva. They both shriek in excitement, they're both filled with butterflies!Branch chuckles at the sight of Poppy and Viva celebrating so joyfully.Branch glances towards his brothers with a big smile.His brothers smile back at him and start walking towards him.-Congratulations man! Clay says as he pats Branch on the back.-It took you long enough. Bruce jokingly says-Good job Branch! Floyd says going in for a hug.-Thanks guys. I didn't think I would have been able to do it without you guys here. Branch says-We're here for you bro. John Dory saysPoppy runs towards Branch
She jumps up on Branch and wraps her arms around Branch with a massive smile on her facePoppy starts tearing up.-Branch, i love you! She says; crying tears of joy.Branch's eyes start watering too.-I love you too. Branch says, wiping away a tear Fast-forward to the weddingBranch stands at the wedding alter with Floyd as his Best Man and his other 3 brothers as the GroomsmenThe song "True Colors" Branch sang to Poppy faintly playing in the backgroundBranch nervously waits for Poppy to arriveBranch nervously adjusts his tie.-Do i look good? Branch nervously whispers to Floyd-You look great man! Floyd whispers back, patting Branch on the shoulder-Ok, ok. Branch says as he takes a deep breathBranch looks down the aisle and sees Poppy. King Peppy is walking her down the aisle. Branch smiles, Poppy smiles back.Poppy and King Peppy step up at the alter. Poppy smiles at her maids of homer; Viva and Bridget.Poppy locks eyes with Branch. They're both smiling at each other. King Peppy starts the wedding by saying:-Dearly beloved, we gather here today to witness and celebrate the union of these two souls in holy matrimony.He looks at Poppy then looks at Branch.-My daughter Poppy... and her great Fiancé; Branch-Marriage is a sacred bond, a commitment of love, trust, and companionship between 2 trolls. To the bride and groom, may your love be a guiding light, illuminating your path as you journey through life together.-Before we proceed with the ceremony, Poppy and Branch would like to take a moment to express their gratitude to each and every one of you who have gathered here today. King Peppy says, with a big smile on his facePoppy and Branch kiss.Everyone cheers and claps.Fast forward to the wedding receptionPoppy is over talking to Viva and Bridget. Branch is getting a piece of cake for himself and a piece for Poppy. John Dory and Bruce are getting food by Branch.-I cant believe you're already married Branch. Last time i saw you; you were in dippers. John Dory jokingly says snaking him on the back-Well yeah, a lot can change in 20 years. Branch says, laughing- Who's that second piece of cake for? Bruce says, pointing at Branch's second plate-Its for Poppy. Branch says-Oh that's cool. John Dory says as he finishes his drink-My cups empty. I'll be back. John Dory says, annoyed-You're going to love being married Branch. Bruce says-Am i? Branch says, awkwardly laughing-Yeah, it gets great. Especially when you have kids. Bruce says chuckling a little-Yeah, well I'm not sure if Poppy is up for any of that. Branch says-Well, you have to talk to her about it. Bruce says while shrugging-Guys I'm back. John Dory happily says-Isn't that your 5th cup John Dory? Bruce says-I don't judge what you do Bruce. John Dory angrily says, slurring his words-Yes you do! Bruce says, laughingPoppy walks over to them 3.-Hey Branch! What are you doing? Poppy asks, nervously-I'm getting you a piece of this cake. Branch says handing Poppy her piece-I have a better idea. Poppy says with a smile-What is it? Branch says as he places down the 2 cake pieces on the table-Come with me! Poppy says excitedlyPoppy grabs Branch's hand and swiftly walks away with Branch.-I know where they're going! Bruce tells John Dory laughingPoppy and Branch go to their room and spend the rest of the night in there...

Exactly 3 Months later they spontaneously have a daughter. Turns out they had too much alone time on that night.Fast forward 6 yearsPoppy has moved all her stuff into Branch's bunker a few months after the wedding. They had a daughter and decided to name her Daisy.Everything has been going by smoothly. Branch is finally happy with the one he's wanted to be with for a very long time.Its 2:00 in the afternoon, Branch must have stayed up late.-Branch! Branch, you're going to be late! Poppy shouts from across the room-Yeah, yeah. 5 more minutes. Branch groggily says-Branch You're going to be late to practice with your brothers! Poppy saysBranch slowly sits up in bed; still half sleep.-Come on Branch lets go. Poppy saysBranch rubs his eyes.But he notices a black blob. it kind of floats around his eye.He rubs his eyes again.Branch still sees it.He thinks it might just be nothing so he goes downstairs to eat.Poppy has put out his breakfast on the table for Branch to come eat. Poppy's food is right next to Branch's at her spot. Their daughter Daisy is at the table eating her food.-Branch heres your food! Poppy says happily-Hi daddy! Daisy says while waving at Branch-Hi hunny! Branch happily saysBranch sits down and eats with Poppy and DaisyBranch eats, he changes and heads out the door. On his way over to the studio he still sees that black blob. Its just floating around his eye. He is starting to get a little worried.He goes to practice another song with his brothers. They've been making music for the past 5 years now.Practicing their new song takes around 2 hours. Throughout the whole time Branch just stares at the black blob, He doesn't understand what it is. "Did i damage my eye?" he thinks. Branch is walking back to his bunker. He didn't notice it till now, but now the blob looks real... like as if he can go over there and touch it.He gets back to his bunker. He hears Poppy and Daisy laughing in the kitchen. Branch goes into the kitchen and sees Poppy having fun with Daisy while washing the dishes from breakfast. Branch chuckles. He's never seen them have so much fun washing dishes before.-Poppy I said I would get to those when i get back. Branch says as he chuckles.-Yeah well Daisy wanted to do something nice for you before you get back. We're almost done. Poppy says as she laughs.The black blob is still bugging Branch. He stares at it.Poppy Notices his discomfort.-Hunny why don't you dry your hands and go play in your room. Poppy tells Daisy-Branch what's wrong? Poppy worriedly asks-I don't know, i just see this weird thing in my eye. I've been seeing it all day. Branch worriedly says.-Ok lets go, I'll bring you to the doctor. Poppy says-Who will watch Daisy? Branch questions-We can bring her over to Viva. She can watch her. Poppy says-Ok fine, lets go. Branch saysPoppy and Branch drop Daisy over at Viva's house. Then they head over to the doctors.Branch describes what he sees to the doctor. A black blob that looks like he can interact with. the doctor has never heard of such a thing. There isn't anything he could give Branch so he just tells Branch and Poppy that he suggests Branch should go home and try getting some sleep. As they got home Poppy made sure Branch went to sleep. She wants the best for him.-Ok branch, the doctor said for you to go get some sleep, so you're going to go get some sleep. Now go to bed. Says Poppy.-Fine, but i want to go to sleep while watching tv. Branch says-Our room doesn't have a tv Branch. Poppy says-I'll sleep on the couch then. Branch says-Ok fine, at least you're going to sleep. Poppy says rolling her eyesPoppy grabs Branch's blankets from their bed to make a spot on the couch for him, Daisy helps her.-Branch! The couch is ready for you! Poppy happily yellsPoppy brings Daisy into her room so she can play with her toys and so Branch can sleep.Branch turns on the tv. He wants to watch some tv before going to bed.The moment he turns on the tv he sees the black blob turn into a figure. "It kind of looks like a lamp." Branch thinks to himself. He gets spooked by it. the object looks so ominous. It looks 2d, the view is weird... its unexplainable. He thinks that the doctor was right, he needed sleep. So Branch turns off the tv and goes to sleep.While Branch goes to sleep Poppy finishes up some tasks around the house. She later puts Daisy to sleep, then goes to bed herself.Branch gets woken up to a buzzing sound.It sounds like an overhead light is on.Branch's eyes shoot openIts the lamp. The lamp is now standing right Infront of Branch. The lamp is making that buzzing noise. Branch's heart skips a beat. Branch looks at the clock on the wall, its 3:00am. All the lights are off. Poppy and Daisy are in bed.-P- Poppy...? Branch shouts, terrifiedNo answerIts just Branch and the lampThe lamp looks like a physical object. Like he can just go up and touch it.That's exactly what Branch does.Everything goes black...

Branch wakes up in his bed.His heart is racingHe looks around"Oh, it must have been a dream" he thinks to himself.Branch looks around the room againThe room looks different...Some things are missing...He thinks this is very strange. He goes downstairs to the livingroom to ask Poppy about it.She's not in the livingroom...He checks the kitchen. She's not there..."Poppy isn't here. So where is Daisy?" He asks himselfHe gets really worriedHe runs over to Daisy's roomHe swings open the doorIts empty...Daisy isn't in there. Other than some random items, its empty. There's no crib, no baby toys, no Daisy. Its just a storage room.Branch searches the whole house. He cant find her. He's getting really worried.All Daisy's and Poppy's stuff isn't in the house. Everything they own is gone"Maybe she's outside" He thinks to himselfHe takes the elevator upstairs and goes outside.Poppy isn't outside of the bunker. He runs to troll village. "Maybe Poppy and Daisy are there with some friends." He thinksBranch runs over to troll villageEverything looks different...There's less houses... He doesn't understand.He doesn't think much of it, he's mainly looking for Poppy.Branch franticly looks around.Then he sees...Poppy...Branch gets so happy.He runs up to her-Poppy!He gives her a hug-Where've you been? Branch asks, joyfully-Woah Branch, where did this sudden energy come from? You're never like this. Poppy says joyfullyBranch becomes confused. He doesn't understand what she's talking about.-P Poppy, what do you mean..? He asks-Branch, you never act this happy. You actually never even happy at all. Poppy says, happily-Poppy we've been married for years! You've seen me happy plenty of times. We sing all the time together! Branch says, confused-Branch, we've never been married. You almost never leave your bunker. Poppy says-Why would we be married? You hate me. Poppy asks, getting confused-Wha- What are you talking about? Branch questionsBefore Poppy can say a word Branch sees that Daisy isn't with Poppy. He gets really worried.-Where's Daisy?? He worriedly asks-Branch, who's Daisy? Poppy asks-Our daughter!?? Where is she?? Branch says, panicking-Branch, i don't know what you are talking about. Calm down. Poppy saysBranch takes a deep breath-Our daughter, Daisy. She's 6. You should know this. You don't have her. Where is she? Branch says, worried-Branch, i don't know what you are talking about. We don't have a daughter. Poppy exclaims-What happened? Why don't you remember? Branch franticly questions-Hey what's going on guys? A voice saysBranch and Poppy look in the direction of the voiceIts Biggie, Mr. Dinkles and Guy Diamond. They're walking towards Poppy and Branch-Guys Poppy doesn't remember our wedding. She doesn't even remember Daisy. Branch franticly says-What are you talking about Branch? You and Poppy aren't married. Biggie says-No, we are! How can't you guys remember?? Branch exclaims-Branch, we aren't married, we don't have a kid. Are you ok? Poppy asks-Branch are you sure you're getting enough oxygen down there in your bunker. A voice saysBranch looks over to the voiceIts Creek...Biggie and Guy Diamond chuckle at the joke-What are he doing here!? Branch angrily asks the group-What do you mean Branch? Poppy asks-He betrayed us. He betrayed ALL of us! Branch exclaimsCreek is shocked-I did no such thing! Creek says-Branch, how did he betray us? Poppy asks-He betrayed us at the 20th anniversary! Branch angrily says-How don't you remember this?? Branch asks-The 20th anniversary of what, Branch? Poppy asks, calmly-The 20th year anniversary of us escaping from the Bergens. Branch saysThey all look at Branch confused.-What? Branch asks-Branch, the 20th year anniversary isn't until next year. Poppy saysBranch's hear skips a beat-No, n- no. What? Branch asks-Branch, we escaped from the Bergens 19 years ago. Poppy says-No, No, No. Branch says-Where's Viva? She should be able to jog your memory. Branch says-Who's Viva? Poppy asks-Your sister!?? Branch says-Branch i don't have a sister. Poppy says with a confused chuckle-You don't know Viva? Branch asksPoppy shakes her head-What about Clay, he should be able to jog your memory. He can prove she's real! Branch says-Branch, Who's Clay? Poppy asks-Clay!? Clay, my brother!?? Branch says-Branch, you don't have any brothers. Poppy says-No, No, this isn't right. Branch says, putting his hands on his headPoppy starts to get worried-Branch, why don't you sit down. Poppy saysBranch starts freaking out-No, No, No, i nee- I need to go. Branch quickly saysBranch runs off-Branch wait! Poppy shoutsBranch ignores her and he runs..Runs right into the woodsBranch runs for 10 minutes straightHe sits by a rock"What is going on with Poppy. What's going on with everyone else? Why don't they remember? Did Creek do something to them?" Branch asks himselfHe thinks for a little longer"Did that lamp have something to do with this...? Was that not a dream?" He thinksOnce he thinks that the lamp had something to do with this, it appears.Branch gets startled-You! Branch yellsBranch stands up-You're behind this aren't you!? Branch yells pointing at the lampBranch waits for a responseThe lamp says nothing...There's just silence...-Say something! Branch screamsThe lamp says nothing. It just stands there.Branch gets so mad that he picks up a rock.He throws the rock at the lampEverything goes black...

Branch wakes up in his bed again.His heart is racingBranch looks around the roomHe still sees Poppy's things missing.Branch runs around the house and still cant find Poppy or Daisy.Branch doesn't understand what's going on...He hears screamsBranch gets startledThe screams are coming from outside of his bunker.He grabs a weapon and goes outsideThe noises keep getting louder the closer he gets.He hears multiple voicesThere's so many...There's... There's music?Its everyone partying...Everyone in troll village. They're all having a great time.Branch drops his weaponThey're partying exactly how they did years ago...Just like on the 20th year anniversary...Branch, looks aroundHe spots Poppy.She's dancing. She's having a great time.He starts walking towards herAfter a few minutes of walking he hears some distinct loud noises...They're getting louder...The ground starts shaking...Branch looks in the direction of the noises. Everyone doesIts a Bergen-Gotcha. The Bergen confidently says-Everybody run!! Poppy shoutsEveryone scattersTrolls are running and screaming, Chaos ensues.-Where's Mr. Dinkles? Has anybody seen Mr. Dinkles? Biggie says worriedlyBiggie gets picked up and put into the Bergen's fanny packFuzzbert gets taken next-Everybody blend in!! Blend in!! Poppy shoutsBranch is watching all of this go down, he doesn't know what to do. He thought Bergens were niceSmidge gets taken next, then Satin and Chenille.These events are seeming familiar to Branch.Poppy grabs the hand of a line of school children and runs with them to go hide in the grass. Cooper hides with them.Cooper can't blend in, he gets taken next.-Everybody minimize your auras!! Creek shoutsCreek then gets picked up-Creek no! Poppy shoutsPoppy uses her hair to try and save Creek, she fails and gets thrown back.This is when Branch realizes he has went back in time.Branch is stunned, he doesn't understand how it happened"Was it the lamp?" He thinks to himselfBranch is so busy thinking about the event he doesn't notice that the Bergen is reaching to pick him up and take him, but Poppy does.-Branch look out! Poppy shouts while grabbing Branch's handThey both run behind a plantThey look back at the Bergen to see King Peppy-Bad Bergen! Bad Bergen! King Peppy says while hitting the Bergens footThe Bergen reaches for King PeppyPoppy and Branch are too far to save himThe Bergen picks him up and takes him-Dad! Poppy screamsThe Bergen sees them and starts walking towards themPoppy and Branch run under a mushroom. Poppy covers them with her hair to look like a plantThe Bergen gets low to the ground to look for Branch and Poppy, but she cant see them behind Poppy's long hairThe Bergen stands upThe Bergen looks around in success and says:-Thank you for throwing the biggest, the loudest the--Craziest party ever! Cooper says, popping out of the fanny pack, interrupting herThe Bergen pushes him back down-Ah! Hey! Hey! Cooper saysThe Bergen walks awayBranch thinks about it. Last time, Poppy saved King Peppy from being taken, but because Branch was there, she saved him instead and distracted Poppy from saving her dad.Branch messed with the past"I have to undo this" He thinks to himselfBranch takes off into the forest-Branch wait! Poppy shoutsBranch doesn't look back, he just runs.Tears start to form in his eyes as he runsBranch is going to look for the lamp, the lamp brought him here, the lamp should be able to help him fix this.Branch is in the woods for so long it starts turning night, he still hasn't found the lamp yet. He's thinking on just giving up, that this is the new reality he has created.Branch is still looking, it's turning day. He gives up and turns back, the lamp will have to show up one day.He walks back to his bunker so he can get some sleep.Branch cracks open the door to his roomSilence surrounds the roomIt's just Branch there.Branch crawls into bedHe turns to his left-Good night Pop-... oh yeah, that's right. Branch sadly saysHe realizes Poppy isn't there, this is before they were married.Branch finds it hard to sleep in the silence, but after a while he manages to fall asleep.Branch wakes up to...The Lamp...It's standing right above himIt's so eerieBranch is startled when he woke up to it, but he realized that he finally found the lamp.He has to touch the lamp, but he's scared to what will happen.Where will it take him? He really didn't think it through.The lamp could take him anywhere really.The lamp is making weird noises.It sounds like a voice, Poppy's voice, and Biggies voice, Guy Diamond's voice, Mr. Dinkles, Viva's voice, Harper's voice, everybody's voice. It sounds like it's every voice he's ever met, plus some new ones he's never heard before. He hears 2 distinct voices, Poppy's and Daisy's voice. He has to get back to them.He can't ruin Poppy's lifeBranch grabs a photo of Poppy off of his desk, he looks at the photo for a second and takes a deep breath.He touches the lampEverything goes black

Branch wakes up ok the floorHeart racing, heavy breathingHe shoots upBranch frantically looks aroundHe's in his bunkerBranch quickly gets up"It was all a dream" He happily thinks to himselfBranch runs downstairs-Poppy! Branch yellsAll branch hears is his voice echoing back at him inthe suffocating silence of his bunkerBranch heart dropsIt wasn't a dream. He says quietlyBranch looks around his bunkerIt looks different...There's random things all around, things he's neverseen before.The furniture is different too. Things are rearranged.Branch walks all around the bunker, he can't find any sign of Poppy or Daisy anywhereBranch gets a feeling that this isn't his bunker because everything is so different"Where am I?" He thinksBranch leaves his bunker and goes outsideThings look different outside too"Where did that thing bring me?"It's Troll Village, but it's different... The houses are rearranged, and there's more of them...Branch walks around a little longer to get his surroundings-Dad!? A voice says, from behind BranchBranch turns around-What? Branch says with a chuckle-Dad, what are you doing here? You supposed to be away with your friends? The stranger says-Excuse me, but who are you? Branch asks-Don't be silly dad it's me Daisy! The stranger says-No, No, my daughter is way younger than you. You can't be her. Branch says-Thank you dad, but really; I am your daughter. She says, smiling-My daughter..... Branch says, slowly-The one and only! Hey, why do you look so young? She asks-What do you mean? Branch asks-You look like 30 years younger! She saysIt suddenly hits Branch. The lamp probably took him to the future, but he needs to be more sure.-Where's your mother? Branch asks the stranger-She's at home. She says-Bring me to her. Branch says-Sure! I'm on my way there right now! She happily saysBranch is worried; that if this is the future. What happened to Poppy's dad? Did Branch cause his death or did Poppy save him?It only takes them 8 minutes to get to their house.They arrive in this small neighborhood, birds tweeting, the sun shining, even with a small breeze.There's troll children running around playing and theirs older trolls sitting on rocking chairs talking and laughing.Branch slows down to look around. He looks at all the other housesDaisy walks up on the porchBranch slowly walks up the steps while Daisy is already at the door-I don't remember this house. Branch says as Daisy grabs the spare key from under the welcome mat-How don't you remember it? This is Mom's house. I mean.. you never really come here. You and mom..... don't really talk much. Daisy says with a sad look on her faceBranch's heart shatters.-What happened to Poppy and I? Why don't we like each other?? Branch desperately says-I'm not sure on the details. But you should know this dad! Daisy says with a giggle-Yeah, Yeah. Branch saysDaisy opens the doorDaisy walks inBranch walks behind her, but slowerOnce he looks in the house; the whole feeling of the place changes.It's so dark and lonely feeling.From a happy little neighborhood with sunshine and happy people to a dark and desolate place.Once Branch enters the house his nose gets hit with a pungent odor.-What is that smell? Branch asks while covering his nose-Yeah, mom doesn't really clean much. She's kinda been cooped up in here for a while. She doesn't like going out. Daisy says while placing some things on the counter-Where is she? Branch asks-She should be over here, follow me. Daisy says walking awayBranch follows her down the hallDaisy slowly opens a door-Mom, you have a visitor! Daisy happily says-Go away. Poppy says in a tired groggy voiceBranch looks more into the roomPoppy is sitting on a couch watching tv-Mom, dad is here! Daisy says, happilyThat peaks Poppy's interestPoppy eyes widen as she turns aroundPoppy and Branch's eyes meetPoppy's face lights up-Branch, come sit. Poppy says clearing a spot for Branch on the couch-I'll give you 2 a minute. Daisy saysDaisy walks out of the roomBranch slowly walks towards Poppy-So... Poppy. Branch nervously saysPoppy turns off the tv and puts her full attention into Branch.-Yes? Poppy saysBranch sits down-What happened... to... us..? Branch asks-Why don't we talk like we used to? I don't understand. Branch says-Branch you know what happened. Poppy her voice filled with sadness-Tell me everything as if I don't remember, I wanna hear it. Please Poppy. Branch asks, desperately-Fine Branch. Poppy says-It all happened on the 20th anniversary. You told me not to throw it, but I didn't listen and I threw the party anyways. Poppy says, on the edge of crying-The Bergens found us. The Bergen took Smige, Satin, Chenille, Guy Diamond, DJ, Biggie, Mr Dinkles, Fuzzbert, Cooper, Creek, and my dad. I couldn't save them. Poppy starts to tear up-You and I tried to go save them. We were too late. They were gone... along the little adventure we connected, got married, and had a daughter. But I was never the same since. I haven't sang or danced since. I leave the house little as possible. Outside reminds me too much of who I lost. Poppy says continuing to tear up-Singing and dancing has never felt the same. I failed them, Branch. Poppy says with her voice shakingPoppy starts to cryShe puts her hands over her faceBranch hugs herIn this world, when Poppy and Branch went to go save their friends and Poppy's dad, they were too late. In the process of that, they never helped Bridget, Poppy never met Viva, and Branch never reunited with his brothers.In this world, Bridget is still a scullery maid still working for the king. "And the queen?" Well that's a different Bergen, they met at the roller skating rink that Gristle and Bridget had their first date in.Viva and the Putt Putt Trolls are still isolated. Viva still doesn't know if Poppy is alive. They're still scared of Bergens.Since they didn't help Bridget get with Gristle, the trolls weren't able to make piece with the Bergens, so Bergens are still hunting for trolls. Bergens are still sad, unless they eat a troll.In this world John Dory wasn't able to find Branch. Without Branch and Poppy's help, he wasn't able to find his other brothers. Floyd died. His replacement, John Dory. He was caught trying to save Floyd. Bruce and Clay don't even know that Floyd is dead and John Dory is Dying.
