“You’ll keep teaching?”“Yeah.”That little bit of conversation on the drive towards the class reunion left Katsuki sitting in his wake. He felt so many emotions over it. Deku would just easily reject him, sure, keep teaching but he didn’t want to be some shit hero if he could not be one with his best friend. Well… he was always more than that to Katsuki. He started to realize these ugly feelings inside of his chest developed in highschool. After the class calmed down and just got to be students. Like a war didn’t fuckign traumatize them. As if he didn’t fucking die for the man he was in love with. No Katsuki Bakugou instead was now sitting at the back where the open bar was during the reunion and tossing back whatever cheap, gross shot he could afford to get him drunk the fastest.“Another.” He said in a raspy voice as the bartender reluctantly poured another round of the cheap peppermint flavored vodka. He couldn’t ever do anything straight. He laughed to himself as he tossed back the sharp minty shot. Letting the warm coolness run down his throat to forget about this night until he regretted it in the morning. What was so special about her? Sure, sure, Cheeks was a fucking master hero. He admired her as much as their whole class but he didn’t think about her naked, which apparently the damn nerd does. He couldn’t figure it out, they had been through everything together. He spent eight years going broke, eating in a slum like apartment and ramen noodles if his friends didn’t buy him a proper meal every once and while. And no, sure Izuku seemed thankful for it and everyone pitched in but not like Katsuki had. He spent hours and that suit was a labor of love to give Izuku everything they both dreamed of after all these years.Or what he thought they both wanted.Turns out he was wrong in their dream and who he loved.Which led him here, drinking, and moping on his own, “Another.” He slurred as he waved at the bartender.“I’m cutting you off.” She said firmly and pulled the shot glasses away from the explosive hero.“Fuck you, I’m paying you!” He hissed at her and slumped his face right on the hard tabletop of the bar. He couldn’t help the beginning of his weak sob finally spill out of his throat now that his numbing minty agent was gone.“No worries, thank you-“ Tenya had said a final goodbye to Momo, but since he arrived in the rear he would go through the bar section and that was when he arrived to spot the drunk, crying Katsuki and the poor bartender trying to console the blonde.“Will you please help me?” She asked as she finally spotted Tenya. He must be here for the reunion, clearly he would help a fellow hero in need!“Of course, I’ll take him home. Did you take the keys from him?” The bartender and Tenya quickly exchanged looks as the blond let out a loud heave of tears, leaving small pools of the salty liquid on the varnished countertops. It was a quick hand over. Tenya paid in cash and the bartender released the keys to Katsuki’s Porsche over to him.“Let’s get you home.” Tenya attempted to get the blond to latch to him but Katsuki was like a slipper fish and just limp noodles around until he was carried like a toddler out towards the black and orange detailed car. He shook his head, what could have gotten the explosive hero to act in such a manner? Tenya couldn’t help but wonder as he used the fob to unlock the probably expensive car. He shook his head, placing the blonde inside the passenger seat and after five minutes of wrestling him he got him buckled up.“Fuck this stupid ass shit, should make you drive off the fucking side of a bridge.” Katsuki whispered and sunk into the seat to mope even more in his angsty self.Tenya had made his way around and slipped into the front seat of the car before he started it up and shook his head. The rest of the drive was easy except for the sounds of Katsuki’s sobbing in the passenger seat. It was smooth which left him surprised. As he parked the Porsche in his designated spot that was when the word vomit started.“He fucking rejected me.” Katsuki growled through the snot on his face. Wiping it with his shirt without any care for it. “Ran off into the night with fucking Cheeks like we hadn’t been through it all together!”“He… he… you mean Izuku and Ochako are an item?” Tenya whispered.“That’s what I fucking said stupid ass class president. I thought you were supposed to be fucking smart!”Tenya stared at the steering wheel in silence for some time as he started to process what Katsuki said to him. He had spent so much time with Ochako helping with the program he thought—clearly as wrong as Katsuki had thought—he had a chance with her. Maybe he did and just stumbled too slow in the process of gaining the confidence to ask her out.“You’re an idiot.” Katsuki scoffed and got out of the car stumbling.Tenya as quick as ever got out of the vehicle and zipped over to catch Katsuki before his face met the concrete. He heaved the blond up and over his shoulder to take him inside. “Which is your apartment key?” He asked as he fidgeted through each one.“The red.” Katsuki simply replied letting his heavy muscular body be pulled around like a limp noodle by the other prohero. “Hey Glasses… wanna forget this night together?” He asked.“What is that supposed to mean?” Using the directed key he underlocked the door, right as he did a hand made an intense impact to his right ass cheek. “Bakugou!” He gaped.“That’s what I mean. You me and a bottle of wine I had stashed. And a couple condoms.” Katsuki laughed at the reaction.Tenya weighed his options, “Alright.”****Two years had passed since that stupid night Kastuki had been fucked in every position across his apartment by the Turbo hero. Actually not that he told Izuku this but the day of the green haired man’s wedding happened to be the anniversary of that same night. He didn’t look at Tenya unless they had to be professional about it.Actually he distanced himself from so many until his friends forced him into stupid game nights. He actually appreciated them more than he could say.Like right now as he was called into the bride's room. Ochako was shining, in her light pink and white dress. She was clearly freaking out because the day had finally come, The day Izuku and Ochako were finally tying the knot. So many of their friends and family were there. Katsuk, of course, went without a date. Had been painfully single by choice over a decade now he did not need anything from everyone. His hand was good enough and the filtered memory of Tenya’s dick.“I’m freaking out, Katsuki!” She laughed softly.“You’re beautiful Cheeks. If Deku is really that stupid I’ll explode him myself as we will have a lavender marriage.” He grinned in response, handing her a small glass of champagne to calm her nerves.Uraraka let out a soft laugh and thankfully took the glass. “Thanks Katsuki.”“Now I gotta go calm down your nerdy ass future husband before he pisses himself.” He laughed and waved her off. Moving to check on Izuku next.He could confess right now, he thought to himself. Finally let it all out on the line and tell Izuku everything but he couldn’t find it in his heart to ruin the happiness both of his favorite people have found. With that finally thought he opened the door to see Izuku standing there and struggling to tie his tie.“After all these fucking years you can’t fucking tie a tie you damn nerd?” Katsuki’s voice was light and teasing as he grabbed Izuku by the tie and yanked him closer.“Kacchan!” He gasped as he stumbled. Letting the blond take over the tying portion of his tie. “Thanks… just nervous ya know.”“Mhm, you and Cheeks are made for each other dumbass.”“Your words are so comforting Kacchan.” Izuku laughed and looked in the mirror once he was done getting dressed. And like that Katsuki watched the love of his life get married to another person. Fading like a character in an anime meant to be one sided. He just smiled and congratulated the happy couple, gave his speech and snuck back to the open bar where just like two years ago he had the plans to get drunk and catch a cab home but not this time.“You don’t mind if I join you this time?” Tenya asked.“Whatever, four eyes.”“Peppermint vodka again?” The tease was evident in the others' voices.“Nah, Deku forked out a long to cash for this. Top shelf.” He grinned at the other hero and waved the bartender down. That was how Katsuki Bakugou ended up being fucked in the coat closet of Izuku’s wedding. And later at Tenya’s apartment when they snuck away in a cab filled with tongue heated kisses.***“Can we stay with Uncle Kacchan please!” The young six year old begged her father with wide eyes in the same shade of brown as her mother.“I’m sorry Emiko but uncle Kacchan is currently out on patrol but he already said he would grab you and your brother after for a fun sleepover!” Izuku laughed as he scooped up his daughter. The light of his life even after he married the love of his life. All with no clue his best friend was still so madly in love with him.“Can you ask if Ten Ten will be there?” The boy asked from where his mother set him down on the counter top.Izuku hummed, he knew Katsuki and Tenya had a weird thing not that the two ever told him or Ochako any details but the bill caused by a cum stain on the wall of the coat closet must have been them. They were the only two to disappear on the wedding day. “I’m not sure Kacchan will invite Tenya but you can always ask him, Daichi.”The boy nodded and ate another big bite of his cereal.“As beautiful as ever.” Izuku smiled at Ochako who was already done up in her hero suit for the early morning patrol. He smiled at her and pressed his lips to her cheek in a quick kiss earning ‘ewwws’ from both kids.“Thank you Izuku.” She smiled at him and laughed at the kids.“My mom will be here soon.” Izuku reminded her and set down Emiko on the chair she had been in to finish her easy breakfast. No doubt his mom would make a large lunch to fill both of the kids' bellies like she always does. Food was Inko Midoriya’s love language after all.“Where are my babies!” Her voice filled the room.“Perfect timing as ever Inko.” Ochako laughed softly and walked over to the other man. Both kids happily squealed as they ran over to hug their grandmother. “You two better get going. I got these two.” Inko hugged both of them tight before the two heroes said their goodbyes and headed out for the day.“Kacchan!” Izuku met with the blonde explosion hero outside of the house.“Hey nerd, are the kids excited to come over?” The twins were the main reason Katsuki had not cut the two heroes out of his life.“Of course they are.” Ochako chimed in with her bright laugh, “They did ask us if you can invite Tenya.”“Fuck that, Im not gonna invite him for my sleepover. He and them last weekend!” Katsuki crossed his arms and started to walk towards the sidewalk back to the streets and start the patrol. He was a professional after all and maybe… he was avoiding Tenya again after a romp at the wedding led to them… having sex another two years later when Katsuki drunk dialed him. And two more times after that. Every time he saw Tenya his tongue ended up in the other hero’s mouth ready to be railed into next week.“Oh come on Kacchan!” Izuku laughed as they all walked together. “It will be fun for the kids. They love both of you with how much yall argue about who gets them when you would think they were the ones who had them.” He nudged Ochako to earn some laughs from his wife.“They’re a married couple.” She joined in the jesting of their friend.“Oh shove off both of you. Four eyes should know they are mine for this weekend. So he can suck my dick.” Katsuki rolled his eyes.“Oh has he, Kacchan?” The smirk was wide as Izuku teased the blonde.“Don’t fucking start nerd.” Katsuki hissed at him. He always ended up between the two like this. “He has not-“Crash!The building next to them exploded and sent the three heroes and some civilians flying into the street. Katsuki recovered first and went ahead and started getting civilians evacuated. “Deku get the hell up!”Ursvity pushed the rubble out and jumped up, making the rubble fly above her and he jumped over towards the villain. “Show yourself!”There stood a man, wrapped up in tech that flew around him. The wolf tail waived behind him and the smirk was evident on the little screen of the mask popped up. He made small strides forward. He was a new villain on the block maybe. Nothing was wrong with him per say just the way his life was brought up or he could change everything.“Who are you?” She asked and stood firm, “Give up, you’re facing the top heroes!”“Top heroes?” The voice was distorted as it came out from the masked man. “You can call me Mainframe, hero.”“Are you gonna monologue a motive or actually fight me?” She taunted.“Actually. Neither.” He flicked his hand and the technology of this Grant Tech store—the newest most recent viral support gear company that had sprang up and grew rapidly—and it wedged and weaved into a massive machine. That struck toward her, almost spider-like movements.“Don’t touch her!” Izuku yelled as he set the black whip-like item from his hero suit and pulled on the legs of the spider as it collapsed on the ground.“Ha.” The voice scoffed. The tech is that Izuku's suit was taken over with a flick of the villain's wrist, it tightened and he couldn’t move. Izuku looked over to Katsuki, “I can’t move! His quirk!”Katsuki moved around and blasted the other man and shot off an explosion towards the hero. It was quickly blocked by a swarm of tech that was taken out of the store. “You try that again and I will cut off his head.” The distorted voice warned.Katsuki growled as he stood beside Ochako. “Alright, how do we do this, Cheeks?”She laughed, “He is reliant heavy on his quirk and everything around him seems to be focused on staying behind his machine. I need you to try to keep his focus on you.”“On it.” Kastuki nodded before he laughed up into the air with his quirk. Shooting off large blasts to take out the spider which seemed easier said than done but the villain didn’t seem that easy to stop. No Katsuki was stalling him.“You're funny.” The distorted voice commented as Katsuki kept striking and forcing the villain to use his quirk over and over to reform the tech-like creature. He didn’t seem to focus on Ochako who came out from above.“Oh?” The villain looked up at her as she was ready to come down.“Of course.” He snapped his fingers and the tech of the spider shot out and straight upwards into Ochako’s chest and limbs.“Ochako!” Izuku screamed as he was stuck frozen watching life almost immediately drain from her face as the villain struck so cunningly in the right spots to make the kill almost instant. He laughed loudly and he pressed the suit around Izuku. “You’re next.”“Don’t you fuckign dare!” Katsuki set off an explosion and the suit was used against Izuku.“Kacch-“ blood shot out of Izuku’s mouth as the collar of the suit went through his neck and he fell limp.“IZUKU!” Katsuki screamed and his vision turned red, turning his attention to the villain who was slammed into the glass of the store and slowly moved up. Katsuki ran over and moved to grab at the head of the villain who just disappeared before Katsuki’s fingers could meet the helmet.“No!” Katsuki collapsed to his feet and scooped Izuku up as the sirens drowned everything. He failed them. And god damn it, he was not gonna deal with this alone. He was going to catch that damn villain if it was the last thing he would do.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

This is where shit hit the fan. Katsuki’s hearing aids must have busted as he watched the scene unfold around his paramedics taking both Izuku and Ochako as quickly as possible to the nearest hospital even if the heart rate was so minimal in both.  He stumbled and fell back on his ass as the scene was starting to be marked off by police, a crowd gathering to figure out what was going on. His eyes were dazed and he was struggling to find any foot right then as he was now surrounded by ringing noise in his ears. It was like the air was knocked out of him as he gasped, everything was spinning as Katsuki was reliving the moment Izuku’s voice cut off his name.  New reporters were swarming trying to get information from the police as Katsuki was the one hero with direct information as to what happened.  “Bakugou.”  He snapped up, tears overwhelming his eyes as his hand was grabbed. Tenya has responded to the back up. “We need to get you out of here.” “They’re dead.” “I know.” Was the soft whispered Katsuki heard like a loud echoed boom in the middle of traffic. What is going to happen now? *** “Nana, can we make cookies?” Emiko smiled at her. She was always so much like her father with the bright smile and those shining eyes. Inko couldn’t help the warmth she felt in her stomach as she nodded. She was loud and spent too much time with her uncle Katsuki when it came to how energetic she was.  “Of course we can, Daichi, would you like to help?”  Inko glanced over to her grandson. The younger twin was more soft spoken than his sister, he was playing contently on the couch in the living room with some magnetic blocks. He had them organized by size and color before he started to build unique and distinct towers. Daichi nodded, “Sure Nana I’ll help once I’m done.” “Awe come on Daichi! You always spend so long playing with your dumb blocks!” Emiko groaned, crossing her arms and puffing out her cheeks. Inko chuckled, if she didn’t have those flecks of green in her hair her granddaughter would be the spitting image of  her mother with all the attitude to accompany it.  As Inko gathered the items she needed from the cupboard to make the cookies with grandkids she heard the tell tale click of the tv turn on, “Now you both know it’s not time for screens.”  “But Nana! We heard a distant explosion! We wanna see Uncle Kacchan win!” Emiko gave her that wide smile to try and win over her grandmother. They loved seeing the pro-heroes in action, especially their ‘Ten Ten’ and ‘Uncle Kacchan.’  She turned to them and the cold ingredients now splayed on the dining table for them to start making the cookies. Inko knew that the fight could go bad and the kids didn’t need to see that but… Katsuki was always prepared and her son should be safe right? “Alright. Let’s watch. Help me put these away.”  Both of the kids scrambled up with her confirmation, helping out the milk, eggs and vanilla back into the fridge before racing back to the couch where Daichi eagerly held the remote. “I love seeing uncle Kacchan and dad in action!” He said softly. Thinking about the fights he saw prior and even small video clips of the war he was allowed to watch.  “I know you both do.” Inko settled on the couch between both children. Letting them snuggle up against each side of her. She took a moment to run a hand through Daichi’s hair, thinking about how excited Izuku was when he was that age to see All Might on the tv. It was those little things that made her love the family she had. She took a moment to admire his soft features before she clicked on the tv. Looking through it until they found the media coverage.
“This just in pro hero’s Uravity, Deku and Dynamight are fighting some sort of mechanical spider? Possibly created from the tech inside of the Grant Tech store while on the scene. No such quirk is thought to be in existence.”

The reporter's camera moved off of her and towards the scene. The spider's leg launched up when the masked armored villain spotted it and shot through it. “We have lost media coverage of the fight. Looks like the other outlets have as well, short circuits, physical damage.”

“Dynamight went below, while Uravity has gone upwards while Deku seems to be trapped- oh my god.”
Inko stared at the screen, the reporter's horrified face and the fear in her eyes as she made the personal cameraman cut the camera off. Ink quickly flipped through every news channel until she stopped.
”Dynamight! Ingenium! Did we just witness the downfall of two fo the greatest heroes-“

“You need to back up behind the police tape.” Was Tenya’s calm voice while Katsuki still looked wide eyed and struck by something heinous that had happened.
“Nana, what happened? Is daddy okay? Mommy?” Emiko immediately asked Inko.  Oh no. The kids. They just watched that also. “I’m sure they are quite alright. Let’s go ahead and get to making some cookies!” She turned off the tv. “They aren’t.” Daichi looked over to ink with a sad look. “Uncle Kacchan always smiles after he wins a fight alongside dad. He wasn’t smiling, nana.” “Shut up! What do you know!” Emiko yelled as tears filled her eyes, she got up, “You’re wrong! Uncle Kacchan will be here any minute with dad any minute and they won't be hurt!” “I saw it, you saw it Emiko-“ “Shut up Daichi,” she yelled again and stomped to the front door where she said on the little bench there. A place normally Izuku helps her out on her shoes. She will wait all day for Katsuki to come and pick them up. She knows Daichi is wrong.  Inko felt her heart stopping in her chest. She looked at Emiko and back to Daichi and hugged the small boy close to her chest. This was not happening, this couldn’t be happening. She took a deep breath to hold back any tears. She saw Katsuki’s face. She knew that was the look of something she couldn’t tell but her son and daughter in law were in deep trouble or much worse. So much worse.  “Why don’t you get the cookie cutters and the dry ingredients Daichi? We can make them look like little explosions for your uncle.” She smiled at him. She watched the boy slowly get up and go to the kitchen.  Inko got up and walked over to Emiko, her feet felt heavy as she kneeled in front of the young girl. “Why don’t you join me and your brother?” Inko tried to keep her voice even without worrying about the explosive  child. If Emiko didn’t look like her mother, Inko would wonder if she was truly the love child of the blonde explosion hero and her son.  “No, I’m waiting here for uncle Kacchan.” She said firmly.  Inko sighed, “Alright, you can join us at any time.” She kissed Emiko’s forehead. Slowly she rose to her feet. God, she hoped Katsuki did not come home with the horrid news that her son was… she couldn’t even think that heavy thought! “Alright Daichi! Let’s get to baking!” *** “Fuck!” He cursed as he landed out of the computer and onto his knee, panting as his skin ran currents of code across it. He overdid it again. His quirk was biting him back as he felt himself getting weaker if he didn’t have his armor on he would have risked passing out.  “I’m impressed.” A female voice came out from the background, clearly amused with the media coverage she witnessed. “I never thought you would have it in you to face three of the world's top heroes let alone kill too in cold blood!” “Shut up!” He hissed as he tried to get his bearings together. He hadn’t meant to go that far. He was supposed to face small-time heroes. He calculated patrols for weeks to figure out the route.  “Oh but come on Dakota.” She rose from her seat as his mask retracted from his face. A finger hooked under her chin to tilt it up. “I’m so proud of my son's descent into the family business.” “Get out!” He yelled at her and that only earned a laugh as she waved her little white flag to leave. The sounds of her healed clicked loudly until he slumped to the floor.  “I didn’t mean to…” he whispered.  “I didn’t want to.” “I didn’t.” *** It had been some time. Katsuki had left the hospital, practically dragged by Tenya out of the room where the heroes were in private areas. It was clear.
Dead upon arrival.
That didn’t stop the doctors in the hospital from trying everything but Tenya knew they had to get back to kids before Inko became more worried, explained the details, and broke the news. He sighed softly while he drove, the last time he could remember driving Katsuki like this… well it ended in a much different scenario with the blond in bed screaming his name.  Now with the blonde secured in the passenger seat he drove them in silence. He knew Inko would watch the kids but she… she needed her own time to process this. He couldn’t blame her for wanting to be alone for a moment to grieve the loss of a child.  “Katsuki, we should go inside.” He said softly as the drive finally came to an end in the driveway. He never thought the apartment looked unwelcoming as it did right then. He had been over dozens of times since Izuku and Ochako had gotten it. He took a deep breath and glanced back at the blonde who was unreadable. He looked tired, exhausted at least that was evident in his posture but emotion wise, Tenya was shut out with a heavy slam of a door with multiple locks. He sighed quietly and stepped out of the vehicle before he closed the door, he knew that likely the blonde needed a moment of gathering before he came out. His helmet now tucked under his arm he walked up to the door. Each step was a higher and higher climb to the reality he was not sure anyone was ready to face now.  He raised a heavy hand to knock on the door.  “I told you!” Emiko's voice could be heard through the door as she rushed to open it. She stopped dead in her tracks when she spotted Tenya.  “Ten Ten?” She whispered, tears filling her eyes.  “Emiko.” Slowly Tenya moved down to his knees as he wrapped his arms around the small child to tuck her in close. “Let’s get you to bed, yeah?” He whispered as he raised to his feet, with Emiko safely tucked I against his chest.  Those sad blue eyes met over Inko's. It was a moment of silence. So much was spoken. She scooped up Daichi who was already dozing on the couch. “Let’s get them to bed.” “I didn’t miss bedtime, did I?” Katsuki smiled softly as he walked up behind Tenya to ruffle Emiko’s hair.m trying to give her a sense of calm.  He had taken off his top in Tenya’s car so the blood was not seen. He had stolen Tenya’s hoodie from the back seat.  “Uncle Kacchan?” She looked at him sadly.  “Don’t worry about it, Squirt. You’re gonna be fine, alright? Let’s get you and your brother to bed.” Katsuki murmured softly to her.  Bedtime was over rather quickly, Emiko tucked into bed while Daichi had escaped his own bed to curl up with his twin in her bed after Katsuki had closed the door behind him and walked out to meet Inko and Tenya. He could smell Tenya’s cologne around him due to the hoodie. Why did it make him feel less numb? He ran a hand through his own hair.  “Is it true?” “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.” Katsuki finally hiccuped out and fell to his knees in front of where Inko was sitting at the dining table. His hands on the ground as his head was dipped down, resting on her knees. “I’m so fucking sorry.” “Katsuki.” She said softly and ran a hand through his hair. “This is the job all of you signed up for. You’re not to blame.” Tenya stood there with his arms crossed, he walked over and used the spare liquor cabinet key to open it. Grabbing a small bottle of peppermint vodka. This was something Izuku bought to make fun of the blonde for the rendezvous at the reunion the two shared.  “Why don’t you and Tenya stay here with the kids? I need to step back to my home to locate the original will for them.” She helped Katsuki up from his knees and swallowed him in a hug, “thank you for taking care of him for so long Katsuki.” She whispered. “Please watch over the kids for now.” Katsuki gripped her tight in a hug, using her to ground himself more so after struggling with his breakdown. The hug went on for longer than he could say until he slowly let her go, “Well watch over the kids.” “Thank you.” Inko gathered her coat and her purse. Kissing both of their cheeks as he stepped out of the house.  “Fucking chirst.” Katsuki grinned as he watched the door close behind her. Tenya was already handing him a shot so they could just drink for a bit before taking the couch or the spare bedroom. Thankfully the blonde took the shot and tossed it back.  “Tenya-“ “Katsuki-“ They spoke at the same time and stared at each other. It was a flash,he was kissing Tenya. Sharing an intense kiss as he wrapped his arms around the taller man’s neck. He shifted as he was close to him now. Tenya responded in simple, two hands to Katsuki’s ass and up into the arm so those legs could wrap around him. They blindly made it to the spare bedroom where they landed on the bed.  They could deal with the consequences in the morning.  Or avoid what they were doing to focus on the kids.  But for now they could tangle themselves inside of the passions to forget the pain they both felt.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

The night was heated between the two, bodies pressed close in the moment of desperate intimacy they both needed to momentarily forget the fact they lost two incredible people in their lives.   It was tangled limbs and hot kisses until both were exhausted.  Tenya in his sensibleness had managed to clean them up and dress them, but instead of one of them sneaking off into the night they decided that it was too much work.  That and the kids would need them both.  “Uncle Kacchan?” A small voice came out around four in the morning.  The blonde shifted as he finally got up from the pillow. Which he noticed happened to be the bare chest of the speedster hero he had been all over just a few hours prior to this one. “What's up Daichi?” His voice was gruff, rough around the edges since he had just fallen to feel after biting the pillow.  “We can’t sleep, can we sleep in here with you?” He whispered. “Yeah, come here.” Katsuki confirmed and pushed the other hero back. Tenya had shifted awake from there.  The younger of the twins came around to Katsuki’s side. He yawned as he scooped Daichi up. He looked over as he heard a groan because Emiko decided not to give Tenya the chance to wake up before she crawled over him to plop in the middle of the bed. Katsuki settled Daichi down much more gently then his sister came through. Tugging the blanket over them.  “What will we do uncle Kacchan?” Emiko asked him softly.  Katsuki took a deep breath while he ran a hand through his hair, “I don’t know yet, Fireball, we will figure this out one day at a time okay? Me and Ten Ten will be here okay?” She nodded, curled up with Tenya on his side of the bed after the hero had pulled his shirt on for added comfort but it must have actually been Katsuki’s. Since it was too tight and had red eyes focused on the way the fabric stretched over the muscles. It caught the attention of the explosive hero. Katsuki extched the sight into his memory before he shook his head, pulling Daichi close to kiss his forehead and tuck both of the kids in.  By this time of night despite the thrilling sex he couldn’t go back to sleep. He watched the other three sleep almost soundly as he was stuck in his own thoughts.  The suit he helped fund and designed for Izuku was the reason he was now dead. He didn’t move quickly enough for that villain to be stopped. He clenched his fists, keeping his explosions to himself on the inside. The kids deserved to get some sleep after all.  Fuck. He ran a hand through his hair, the soft spikes around his hand made him think about everything he missed about Izuku. His dumb smile, his stupid optimism, his dumb affectionate look he would give Ochako and not him. Fuck. Fuck! Katsuki sat up around 6 in the morning after his thoughts haunted him for the last couple of hours. He slipped out of bed leaving the two children to cuddle with tenya instead of him.  Katsuki decided the kids deserved a decent breakfast. The blond got started with the eggs and chopping some vegetables to throw into them. Making his famous omelette the kids love. But the silence in the kitchen made him realize this was too fucking empty. He walked over to the small TV in the kitchen set up by Izuku to watch cooking videos with the kids. Katsuki turned it on and flicked On The news. Despite this impromptu break he still needed to keep up with the news that was on the tv. The screen flicked on as the reporter started to speak.  “I’m currently with many of the press reporters  in front of Grant Tower today waiting for the young CEO of Grant Tach to address what happened with the tech inside of his store just yesterday. Which resulted in the world losing two beloved heroes.”  Her hand pointed for the camera to switch the angle from her to the stage.  Behind her was the camera panned to the empty podium. Katsuki’s eyes watched the screen, the young ceo took over for his mother and rebuilt the company during the war and after giving so much to the community and resources to heroes with never upping the prices. The one downfall of that is that the CEO had only five known public appearances. Katsuki was a bit surprised he would even speak to the public after this. If the guy was such a hermit why come out now? “He better not talk shit about Izuku and cheeks,” Katsuki muttered as if he would be there to yell at the guy.
As the man approached the podium he wore a simple outfit, still spoke volumes. A soft shirt and sweater with his messy curls pinned back out of his face. The man looked tired, Katsuki noted. Like something was weighing just as heavy on him as it was Katsuki himself. He looked almost quirkless, covered in freckles and his round glasses sitting on his face. There was no known quirk for the guy so maybe he was or Katsuki felt it was more likely he was playing his cards to his chest right? That makes more sense.
The only hero who had spoken to the CEO that he knew was Kirishima. He wondered if shitty hair would stop by later?
“Thank you everyone.” The man spoke into the microphone,  he sounded as tired as he looked. “I know this is a rare time for us all. The loss is heavy on everyone but especially those who are close to heroes who have fallen. Before we get into anything in regards to what happened with my tech. I want us all to have a moment of silence for two of the world's greatest heroes. Uravity and Deku. The world will never be the same without them.”
As the press seemed to listen, even Katsuki found himself ducking his head down to honor the moment. It had been less than twenty four hours since it happened and he was still struggling to grip reality around him.
“Thank you for allowing us to have that moment. Now I know the elephant in the room. How will I protect my tech from such a quirk?” He paused and got a collective nod from the reporters in the crowd. “The truth of the matter is that this kind of quirk is impossible to fight again when its control seems to be at the base level of every device it uses. However I am taking measures to make sure that all of my stores and all of the people who use my tech are properly protected.”

“Now I will open the floor to questions.”
Katsuki stared at the screen. His hand was still moving as he was cutting the veggies before the knife went down. “Fuck!” He yelled loudly as he felt the blade enter the top of his finger. He dropped the knife to the side and immediately rushed to the cabinet where Izuku kept the first aid. Thankfully it was not a bad cut but enough to piss him off.  He was quick to apply pressure with some antiseptic before he wrapped up the winger with a bandaid once the bleeding slowed down.  “”Bakugou ?” Tenya’s voice was with concern as he had rushed from the bedroom thankfully without disturbing the children somehow. He saw the bandaid being wrapped and sighed. “Got distracted?” “Yeah.” Katsuki said with a short tone. He gestured to the TV, “The CEO is talking.” Tenya looked towards the television where it had caught his attention almost like it had to Katsuki prior to cutting vegetables for the children’s breakfast.
“Mr. Grant, how are you planning to address the families of those who lost this week?” A younger reporter spoke from the middle of the crowd.
“First off , you can call me DJ. All of you, Mr. Grant, have been gone for over a decade now, almost two.” DJ paused and  took a deep breath. “I’ll be reaching out to the families of everyone who was injured or has passed. Offering my condolences and any assistance with funeral planning. I have no intentions of this money ever needing to be paid back. I have more than enough money to give.” “What if they don’t accept?” Someone spoke up.
“That’s fine, they don’t have to.” DJ answered softly. “No one has to accept this from me. This is simply an offer that I can provide along with my deepest condolences. I know what it’s like to lose someone that was or is family to me. I would never wish that on anyone, including my competitors.”
Tenya took a deep breath and shut off the tv. “Let’s not focus on that. The kids don’t need to see such a thing just yet Bakugou.” “Come on, your dick was in my ass just 6 hours ago, call me Katsuki stupid.” “There is no need to be so crude!” Tenya blushed at Katsuki’s lack of shame over the things they had done together not too long into the night prior. “No one would ever believe me that you have a filthy fucking mouth on you, Glasses. How can you be so fucking uptight.” Katsuki laughed as he rolled his eyes. He washed the knife off thoroughly.  Thankfully the vegetables had not been contaminated with his blood.  “You think the twins are going to be alright?” Tenya asked softly as he grabbed the eggs to crack into the bowl to wish them. Assisting Katsuki with breakfast.  “I don’t fucking know.” He whispered, “But we gotta be there for them. You know we are the godparents. I’m not sure Inko will be able to handle them full time.”  Katsuki put the veggies in a bowl. Peppers and some onions diced small the kids won’t notice. He didn’t bump into Tenya as they worked smoothly. Getting the egg into the pan with the veggies while Tenya went to prepare coffee and some smoothies for the kids. Try to make their morning a little bit better after… that news. “Tenya?” “Yes Katsuki?” Katsuki looked at Tenya, the moment was serene. Al,ost too much as he swallowed the word stuck in his throat. With the omelets done he walked over to Tenya who was now sipping a cup of black coffee. Gross. Such a Tenya move. Katsuki placed a hand on that broad chest and stood up on his top tiles to reach the destination in. Mineand pressed a soft kiss to the taller man’s lips, something soft and unspoken.  Tenya didn’t even have time to react to it before the sound of a small voice yelled throughout the home.  “Uncle Kacchan kisses Ten Ten!”   Katsuki shoved the taller hero back, almost making him lose his coffee. “Get back here, Fireball!” Katsuki laughed and chased the little girl down the hall. There was clearly none of Katsuki’s usual malice in his voice.  Katsuki scooped her up and then tossed her onto the bed where Daichi was still waking up to the sound of yelling. “Here comes the tickle monster!” Little squares and giggles came as Katsuki began to tickle her.  “No no stop!” Emiko laughed loudly as she wiggled around to escape the devilish fingers of her favorite uncle.  Daichi slipped out of the bed and jumped up to get Katsuki from the side to ‘save’ his sister from the tickle monster. “I got you now uncle Kacchan!” He said bravely.  “Oh o!” Katsuki fell over onto the bed when he was tackled by the smaller twin and gasped, “you got me! Now whatever shall I do. I know. I’ll call for backup. Fucking four eye!” He called for Tenya.  Tenya was watching from the doorframe, having come over after he heard the sound of the tickle monster. “Hmm, I am a hero Katsui, I have to protect those I. Need not aid the villain, however…” The grin on Tenya’s face made Katsuki sit up.  “Don’t fucking think about it Tenya.” Katsuki warned. In the middle of the last rendezvous prior to the one last nice the taller of the two heroes figured out where Katsuki’s tickle spots were. “Go for the twins!” Katsuki playfully pushed Emiko to be his sacrifice from the other.  But as ever Tenya was quick, hands on Katsuki’s hips and pressing fingers upwards into the sides of the explosive hero who immediately burst out into laughter as this angile fingers teased into his side. “Help!” Katsuki cried out between laughs.  Emiko gasped and immediately joined in. Making Katsuki almost squeal from his sides being exploited.  “Oh no uncle Kacchan!” Daichi looks between the adults and pushes on Tenya. “I’ll save you! Imma hero just like momma!” The room seemed to freeze as the silence went over the only sound that was obvious was Katsuki’s ragged breathing after he was attacked by everyone by Daichi.  Daichi sniffled and looked down, “I’m sorry.” He whispered.  Katsuki pushed Tenya back and scooped up the child into his arms and hugged him. Keeping him close. “Hey don’t apologize. It’s still fresh, okay? You can handle it in any way that makes you feel okay.” He didn’t know how to express grief himself but be damned if the kids become emotionally stunted because of him.  Daichi nodded, sniffling as he wiped his face. He was always the more sensitive of the two twins. Katsuki stood up, cradling the small child in his arms. “Come on, let’s all go eat breakfast and then we can go do something fun yeah? Something distracting before we take yall to Nanas.” Emiko jumped on the bed and onto Tenya’s back for an impromptu piggy back ride. “Can we go to the amusement park?” Katsuki hummed, ‘Yeah we can go to the amusement park. What do you think, Tenya?”  Tenya chucked and adjusted her to sit better on his back. “Yeah I think that sounds like a good idea.” *** Dakota sighed as the doors of the building closed behind him after an exhausting press conference . He could visit with the family’s soon as he promised right now he hadn’t gotten any sleep or eaten since the attack. His stomach couldn’t handle it right now.  The guilt of his actions weighed heavy on him, he didn’t intend to go that far.  Was there anyway back, now? He could turn himself in but then he would watch everything he has built crumble since no one would trust his tech he worked tirelessly to make perfect for the public and heroes out there.  The walk to the elevator was mind numbing, the ride up even more so until he reached the final level of his building. The one that he lived in. He sighed as he looked around. Pictures of the times he was happy were so fleeting now.  Now he felt like an empty shell.  Forced to handle his mothers business.  She was blackmailing him after all.  Deku and Uravity had gotten too close to his mothers case. The one he spent ages covering up because she was the only family he had left. “Deej you alright?” A voice came out from behind him.  He whipped around at the sound of a familiar voice but there was nothing there. “God damn.” He grabbed a nearby vase and threw it, hearing it crash as he fell to his knees. Sitting in the foyer of this empty house made him realize.  He was going to always be all alone.  After all. It was always his fault.
