Sage was watching as her mom held Neptune.Koko could see her out of the corner of her eye. She smiled and started to slowly hand him to her. “Do you wanna hold your brother?”Sage looked up to her mom and then back down to her hands where a small purple blob with hits of pink lay. Sage held out her hands to hold him.“Change to purple sweetie.” Koko smiled at her.Sage gasped and the closed eyes focused on her color trying to change it.“Much faster than last time.” Koko laid the purple blob into her hands.It had weight and Sage was surprised. She brought her hands to eye level.“Hi.” The eyes on the blob opened. “My name is Sage your big sister. I’ll protect you from everything scary Nepy.”Moro started to laugh and Koko giggled. Tyler held his face in his hands his eyes gave away the fact he was smiling.“Did I say something wrong?” Sage tilted her head in confusion.“No, you didn’t kiddo,” Moro said with a smile on his face messing with her tentacles.Koko mumbled something and Sage just smiled at her new brother.

“Get out of my room!” Sage yelled at Neptune who was standing in the doorway of her room.“I not your room.” He pointed to the doorframe. “See?” Then he pointed at her. “Stinky.”“MOOOOOOM!”“Mom ain’t home!”There was a gruff sigh. “Yeah, but I am a kid.”“Dad tell Nepy to get out of my room!”“But I wanna play with legos!”Tyler could hear Moro trying to not laugh behind him. “Neptune you have your legos why don’t you go play with those.”“But I wanna play with Sissy!”“And I don’t wanna play with you!”“Stinky!”“Butface!”“Inksnot!”Tyler and Moro both froze in shock and looked at their kids.“Cannon fodder!”Moro looked at Tyler seeing the shock on his face and leaned in close whispering. “This is why they shouldn’t go to your dads.”“Suction sucker!”Tyler held up a spray bottle and shot Neptune in the back of the head. Then he took a step forward and sprayed Sage in his mouth.“Okay!” Tyler picked up Neptune. “We’re all talking about where you two learned those words and that you shouldn’t say them EVER.”Moro moved past Tyler and picked up Sage. “And then we’re gonna call Mom you two are gonna tell her what you said.” He made eye contact with Tyler a shit-eating grin plastered on his face.Tyler sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.
