long, long ago, before there was anything, there was nothing. and before there was nothing, there was everything. one day, when it all became nothing, and the only thing left was a conscious, a single soul. the soul was a leftover from the previous everything, and it was left dormant for so, so very long.eventually, the soul woke up, but it was all still so hazy for the soul, it didn't remember anything, anything at all.but it was lonely. so very lonely.with nothing left but it, the soul decided to take the nothing that surrounded it, and make something.first, it created reality, a concept to which it could use as the basis for all other concepts and creations.next, it made space, an empty void where it could make tangible objects and make its own form, but it would keep its own form for later.after that, it created time, a concept to which things could transform over a given period of this time, in many different ways. time would be very useful indeed.eventually, it created a giant, endless plain, the cardinal world at the center of everything. but it was empty. sure, there was life, but there wasn't anything like itself. nothing that could think, that could act.so it created a copy of itself and analyzed it, reverse engineered it, and created souls. along side the souls, it created vessels for the souls to inhabit, bodies, so they could remain stable in the physical plain.but the souls still couldn't think or act on their own, so it created mind, and everything began to fall into place.but they weren't quite complete, so it created several forms of power and blessed certain lifeforms with them.finally, he created his own body. 5 ft 7 tall, it has slightly messy white hair, four arms, four eyes, and sharp, accentuated canines. it had no gender, but for some reason, it preferred a male appearance, perhaps some remnant of his previous life.Zeus Mantic. that was the name he chose for himself. why? till this day, not even he knows, it just came to him. but thats not important, is it? one day, Zeus Mantic was in his laboratory, and he had an idea. an idea that would shape the way for everything.he went out into the middle of the cardinal world, chaordia, and created and empty void. inside that void, he made a sphere, a pocket dimension that went on just as endlessly as his own universe. he dubbed this, the infiniverse. inside, he would create an infinite of entities that had absolute control over their own pocket dimensions, and they, in turn, would create an infinite number of entities inside their pocket dimensions that had absolute control over their own pocket dimensions, and so on and so fourth.there are hundreds of layers, all the way down to omniverse. the gods of the omniverses would decide the main theme of their multiverses, the pocket dimensions that they owned. one of them is centered around pirates trying to find a legendary treasure in some grand line of water, another is centered around humans who each have unique superpowers becoming heroes to fight bad guys. Zeus Mantic loved to go to random universes and bestow random people (mostly the main characters) with powers to mix up the plot and make things more interesting.though, one of Zeus Mantic's favorites is centered around humans who have a mix of spiritual energy and physical energy called chakra that let them preform various magic tricks that they called jutsu.. for some reason, the owner of this multiverse believed that these magical abilities were perfectly suited for ninja, so shinobi became the main focus of the multiverse. in this multiverse, there are several guardian gods, some of the most reoccurring ones being Kami, god of creation, light or life, Yami, god of destruction, evil, darkness, death, etc. and Shinigami, god of death and sometimes not a god. this doesn't mean there aren't more gods, in fact, there are millions across infinite universes.at this time, he had gotten bored of watching some Yuji kid beat the shit out of his uncle, so he decided to go to the Naruto multiverse.arriving in a random universe, he decided to check on the gods of this universe by spontaneously appearing in their celestial planes. Kami was having a staring contest with her sister, Yami. why? they had nothing to do, they were finished with their paperwork and really had nothing else to do, Amaterasu was watching over the earth and Shinigami was watching over hell. the other gods had nothing else to do, so they were playing dumb games like tick tack toe, rock paper scissors and staring contests. did i mention they didn't really have anything else to do?Kami is a tall (6 ft 7) woman with long, knee length smooth white hair. she's wearing a white Kimono with golden roses adorning it. she has blue eyes and golden pupils. her bust is a round C cup and her butt is nice and plump.Yami, on the other hand is a short (5 ft 4) woman with short, shoulder length silky black hair. she's wearing a black mini kimono with golden roses adorning it. she has red eyes with golden pupils. her bust is EE cup and her ass is small and perky, so she is almost the exact opposite of Kami."whats that?!" Yami yells, pointing at something behind Kami"not falling for that trick again. Tsukuyomi got me with that last time." Kami exclaims, smirking"hello, I'm not interrupting anything, am i?" Zeus Mantic asks"ahh!" Kami screams, blasting a light beam through him"heeeey! that was rude! i was just saying hi. i guess ill take my leave then." Zeus Mantic says, instantly regenerating the hole blasted through his chest and bursting into prismatic pixels before dispersing."...who was that..?" Tsukuyomi asks, groggily getting up from her place on the floor (made of clouds) where she was sleepingTsukuyomi is {i dont have time to describe her body type, just think of Echidna the witch of greed from RE:zero}, she's wearing a dark navy blue kimono with moons in different phases adorning it."i.. have no idea, but he was definitely from above our universe.." Hisako, the fire god (not to be confused with Amaterasu the son god) states, getting up as the winner of her napping contest with TsukuyomiHisako is 6 ft 2, she has a D cup bust and a well rounded butt, she has back length reddish yellow hair tied up in a high pony tail. she has orange eyes and white pupils. she's wearing a red kimono with flames adorning it."c'mon, lets go again." Tsukuyomi says, going back to sleep alongside HisakoKami and Yami decide to join them, after all, everyone needs a nap. some of the other goddesses look on in amusement, seeing the two major goddesses, a celestial goddess and an elemental goddess sleeping in a heap on the floor (made of comfy clouds but still) {10 years later, which is 3 years after the kyuubi attack}"Ka-san! look! i hit it!" Miiya Uzumaki-Namikaze shouts, having hit the target with her kunai after dozens of failed attempts.Miiya is around 2ft 7, she has long (for her age) golden hair tied up in twin tails. she has purple eyes and three whisker marks marring her each of her cheeks. she's wearing a blue T shirt with a red Uzumaki swirl on it and matching shorts. she also has some shinobi sandals."good job Mii-Chan! im so proud of you!" Kushina Uzumaki-Namikaze exclaims, wrapping her youngest daughter in a hugKushina is a tall, 6 ft woman with waist length crimson hair. she has DD cup breasts and a well rounded butt. she has violet eyes. she's wearing a green sundress and brown sandals."Imooto, can you give me some tips? I'm still having some trouble!" Umiko Uzumaki pleads, having missed all her shotsUmiko is the same hight as her little sister. she has long golden locks flowing down her back. she has purple eyes and three whisker marks marring her each of her cheeks. she's wearing the same thing as her sister"hey, what about me? don't you want your tu-chan to give you a few tips?" Minato Namikaze, the yellow flash and yondaime hokage, asks his eldest daughter from the tree he was sitting inMinato is a tall, 6ft 3 man with golden spiky hair. he has cerulean blue eyes. (as for what hes wearing, just imagine his clothes from the anime.)"of course, but that would be unfair to Miiya!" Umiko pouts, they had made a self imposed rule to not accept help from their parents, at least on throwing weapon training"hahahaha! its fine, Iko-chan, im sure you'll get it!" Minato laughs, and Umiko's pout twitches and finally fades as she joins her father in laughter, and soon everyone is laughing.now, one would look on at this scene and think of the picture perfect family, but that would be incorrect. see, there's one member of the family missing from this picture perfect scene.Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze was looking out the window of his room at the training grounds of his family's compound with empty eyes, devoid of discernable emotions. he was quite tall for a three year old, being 3 ft 5. some strands of his hair are white, contrary to the rest of his crimson spiky locks. his pupilless eyes are an empty greyish violet. three whisker marks mar each of his cheeks. he's wearing a plain grey T-shirt, blue cargo shorts and plain shinobi sandals.you might be wondering why the eldest child and only son of the Uzumaki-Namikaze clan is alone instead of training with the rest of his family, well, the answer is simple."its always like this.." he mumbles under his breath. his family had always ignored him. whenever he did anything, he would be scolded, so he locked his emotions away so he wouldn't get hurt anymore. every time he asked for anything, either his parents would straight up ignore him or tell him they were busy. every time his sisters would pull pranks, he would be blamed. the last time he showed any emotions was a year ago. {flash back-one year ago}"k-ka-san..? c-can i-" a 2 year old Naruto starts"im busy, go to your room. i have to take care of Umiko." Kushina says coldly, not even glancing at Naruto"b-but ka-" Naruto is cut of again when Kushina slaps him across the face"i said go to your room." she orders sternly, and Naruto waddles to his room.that night, Naruto vowed to never show emotion again, and he still hasn't broken his vow. {flash back end}now, one might question why on earth Miiya and Umiko were treated so well when Naruto was almost entirely ignored, and the answer is both complicated and simple. 3 years ago, the Kyuubi no kitsune attacked the village, taking many, many lives. the carnage was ended when Minato used the shiki fujin to seal off the beast. though, they feared that sealing the beast whole would destroy or overwhelm the vessel, furthermore, the only suitable vessel would be a new born enfant.luckily enough, three children were born that night. the hokage's children. Minato used the shiki fujin to split the beasts soul in three, two of which parts of the soul would obtain the beasts Youki, yin and yang halves respectively. the soul was split for the Kyuubi's three primary emotions, love, lust and anger. Umiko got the lust soul, Miiya got the love soul and Naruto was stuck with the anger soul. thankfully, each soul still has other emotions, but their personality is based off of their primary emotion.Naruto is the only child without any of the Kyuubi's youki, and thus, everyone thought that the only thing the soul would bring him is some sort of disability, so they ignored him. not solely because of this beleif, but also because... {flash back-right after the Kyuubi attack}Minato was in his living room with his children and wife, staring lovingly at the children."aren't they beautiful, Mina-koy?" Kushina asks, holding her children"yes they are, Kushi-chan. i know Danzo will try to get them into his root, but i will protect them. no matter what." Minato says"Minato, i need to talk to you, you too Kushina! lets go somewhere priv-guh!" Jiraiya of the sanin says, popping through the window, before getting hit over the head by kushina.Jiraiya is a tall and well-built man. He has waist-length, spiky white hair tied into a pony tail, with two shoulder-length bangs framing his face. he has black eyes and two red lines going down from his eyes. he wears a chain mesh shirt, a greenish-grey kimono with a red vest and kabuki sandals. he has a horned forehead protector with the kanji for oil on it."theres a front door for a reason ya know!" Kushina scolds while raising her fist, her children in their cradle."sorry! but this is serious! the toad elder has given me a prophesy!" Jiraiya explains, nursing the bump formed on his head"Jiraya, this place is covered head to toe in seals, including over a dozen different kinds of privacy seals. you can tell us right now." Minato explains"alright.. here's how the prophesy goes. 'two halves of a whole born from golden lightning and crimson wrath will bare the power to change the world. for better or for worse, the choice is theirs. even i can not see that far'. thats what he said. and i believe that two of your children are these children of prophesy. it makes sense, 'golden lightning' refers to 'yellow flash', and 'crimson wrath' refers to 'red death'. 'two halves of a whole' obviously refers to siblings." Jiraiya starts "and i believe that it refers to Miiya and Umiko. the fact that they hold the Kyuubi's youki reinforces my belief.""so... our little girls will change the world?" Kushina asks, a big grin on her face"i think so, Kushina!" Jiraiya says, a grin just as big on his face"but.. what can we do to help?" Minato asks"we'll train them, of course! we'll give them all our attention! make them the strongest shinobi ever in preparation to their destiny!" Jiraiya exclaims, his arms widefrom the spiritual plain, Zeus Mantic watches on. something is happening, for some reason, they are already forgetting about Naruto. he sensed the spiritual resedue of a goddess, fate. she definitely did something, or at least, she knows something. in this universe, Fate can see the future and see what fates any given person has, but Zeus Mantic always hated the concept of fate. was he fated to be the soul to remain and gain control over everything after everything turned to nothing? no, it was completely random! so Zeus decided to do something about it.he could see that Naruto was fated to become emotionless, a harbinger of destruction. but what if gave Naruto a small blessing?"yes, that will work. if his emotions disappear, the future i foresaw will come to pass, but if i do that, then fate gets screwed over.. hmm.. might as well change a few other things too, he'll be way too alone for my plan to work." Zeus says to nobody in particular, snapping his fingers to activate his blessing and then moving to sunagakure no sato, where he would help another one who would be devoid of emotions, effectively intertwining their fate. {flash back end}...as you can see, its mostly Jiraiya's fault. prophesy's aren't meant to be shared with humans, or else they'll try to sway the prophesy in their favor.but, oh! we're almost out of time for this chapter! lets get back to the story.Naruto had decided to go on a walk through the forest, because, well, he was bored. can he get bored without any emotions? is "bored" an emotion? i think so, but thats besides the point. Naruto had always loved Nature more then anything because it was calm. he didn't have to think about his family or the four-eyed-four-armed-white man he used to dream about when he was younger, and hiding his emotions was easier in this place, because nothing prodded at him, nothing tried to break his walls.he always just liked to wander, wander, wander, wander and keep wandering. see the sights, even if those sights are just a bird sitting on top of a bear, a neat little rock formation or a waterfall.as he walked, he stopped and took a look around him. he does this periodically to see the sights around him. this time, he sees a family of birds sleeping on a tree branch, a small water spring, a peculiar rock formation, a very small pond thats glowing, a fox with a cool stick in its mouth, hold on, glowing?Naruto walks up to the pond and observes it closer. it looks like some sort of vortex, a.. portal? it looks like water, but its way too thick to see throughnow, while Naruto locked away his emotions, that doesn't mean he cant get curious. Naruto slowly inches his hand towards it."ah!" Naruto exclaims in surprise when he gets pulled into the portal. "...where am i..?" Naruto asks in confusion, staring up at the confusing landscape that he had found himself in, small winged cat-like creatures flying above and closing in.

Naruto was confused. not scared, not distressed, just confused. he was in a forest, but not like the one he was in before. the trees were abnormally big, and, well, so was everything else. a flower reached his shoulder! not just that, there were crystals jotting out from the ground and rocks, and mystical looking rock formations. this looks like the the definition of "mystical forest" from storybooks and such.the biggest thing that caught his eye were the creatures that look kind of like cats but with horns and bat-like wings. there are dozens of them, big and small. and they are all staring at Naruto.one of them, half white, half black, approaches Naruto."rrawwrr!" it sounds like a mix between a meow and a roar, but it sounds happy. its also as high pitched as a cat."summoner? what do you mean summoner?" Naruto mumbles quietly it appears as though Naruto can understand it."mmmrrrrrr!!" it growls(?)"im.. im your summoner? but why?" he asks in a quiet, black voice"mmeeeaaa!!" it meows"alright, so, i have a good soul and an affinity to your kind. is that right?" Naruto asks"mew!" it mews"alright. so what are you?""rawr!" it roars happily"so, you're dragons? wow, humans got you way off." Naruto mumblesthe dragon just nods in response"so, how do i go home?""mmrrraawwrr! meow! mmrrrrr!" it meows. rough translation: you have to sign the contract then use our specialized draconic hand signs to reverse summon yourself, or you could get a dragon tattoo and use that."alright. ill go with the dragon tattoo, it seems more practical, but i might learn these draconic hand signs anyways. what do they do?" Naruto says, then asks"meow, mrrrr!" it meows"i see, being able to use Jutsu without the need of hand signs is very useful. ill come visit this place to train once a day." Naruto exclaimsthe dragon hops around in excitement"oh, i should ask, who are you? im Naruto by the way." Naruto asks"meow." it meows"your name is Hamoru and you're the boss summon?""mrmrremmeerrrmm!" it... i don't know what that noise was, but it made it."i see, so on top of having mastery over all elements and sub elements, you can change size. thats pretty useful. alright, where do i get this tattoo done? my family is going to sunagakure no sato tomorrow for a political visit, and I've heard they have beautiful sights." Naruto explains"mew! mew!" Hamoru hops around excitedly"you wanna come with me? alright, i don't see any problem with that." Naruto accepts and climbs on top of Hamoru who just became bigger. to get the tattoo applied, Naruto had to first sign his name on a big, curved stone tablet (the contract) and in blood no less. then, he had to let the boss dragon, Hamoru, bite his arm and then seal up the wound with his healing fire, and boy did that hurt. the first part hurt, the healing fire actually feels pretty pleasant. but anyways, then Naruto was taught how to use the tattoo, if he wanted to come or leave the mountain (yes, the dragons live on a mountain, its called thousand spike mountain) he had to think of coming or leaving the mountain, focus chakra into the tattoo and boom. if he wanted to summon a dragon, he would just focus chakra into the tattoo. normally it would just default to his personal summon (he has two, its the bosses daughters, one is white with black details the other is black with white details. they are called yin and yang respectively) but if he wanted to summon a specific dragon, he would have to think of them.he left shortly after getting the tattoo and learning how to use it, because he worried his family might start looking for him. he appeared at the pond/portal when he used the tattoo to go back to the human world, only to find that the portal was no longer there, it was just a pond and no matter what he did it wouldn't suck him back in.when he arrived back home, to his (very, very) slight shock, his parents hadn't even noticed he was gone, but his sisters did ask him in passing where he was for 2 hours. strange, he was in the summon realm for 2 hours, yet it took him an hour of walking to get to the pond and another to get home. he could only conclude that time moved differently on thousand spike mountain then the mortal realm.lets cut to where Naruto is now.Naruto is packing some things he'll need for the visit to Suna, mainly clothes and some small weapons for self defense. he also packed some scrolls he got from the dragons. finally, he took every bag he had, packed them into scrolls, then packed all those scrolls into another scroll. its weird how no one every thinks about this obvious life hack, packing storage scrolls into storage scrolls.he takes his free time from finishing packing so early to look around his room. the walls have a single layer of gray paint thats chipping in some areas. there's barely any furniture, a plain grey desk, a small bookshelf and a bedside table next to his small bed. he didn't even have a light! barely livable in my opinion.'creak'"Ani, here's your supper." Miiya says quietly from the doorway with a bowl of ramen. Naruto's parents always forget(?) to call him down for supper, so Miiya always brings him a portion. he never understood why, but at least he got fed."thank you, Imooto." Naruto thanks and takes the bowl and chopsticks over to his desk where he could eat. unseen by Naruto, Miiya smiled slightly before leaving. {next day}Naruto was dressed and ready to go.'creak'"Ani-chan, its time to go." Umiko says quietly from the door. while Miiya always brought him supper, Umiko always brought him whenever his family was going on a trip, because his parents would forget(?). he never understood why she did this either."im ready, lets go." Naruto says and follows Umiko downstairs where his father had set up a small sealing array, reminiscent of the Hiraishin, but it was meant for multiple people, thats for sure.Minato didn't even seem to register the arrival of his son as Naruto and Umiko stepped into the array and Minato held up his Hiraishin kunai and said "Hiraishin: Ringu!" Naruto closed his eyes from the flash, but when he opened his eyes he was in the Kazekage's palace."ah, Minato! welcome! i see you've brought your children, they dont really need to hear our talkes, they can play with my kids. Kankuro, Temari! come meet the Hokage's children!" he greets in a boisterous tone and calls his kids.two kids around 5 years old come around. one has sandy yellow hair tied up into pigtails and a small handheld fan, the other has spiky brown hair and some sort of puppet. along side the two kids, Naruto notices another kid, a redhead with empty eyes hiding behind the corner. while his sisters greet the two 5 year old's, Naruto opts to go greet the young girl around his age."hello, my name is Naruto." he greets"G-Gaara.." she greets in kind, her voice a hushed whisper just as quiet as Naruto's.Garra is a short girl, around as tall as Umiko. she has greyish, empty teal eyes. she has tanuki-like rings around her eyes. she has short, smooth red hair that covers her right eye. (think Rem's hairstyle from RE:zero but red) she wears some plain light blue pants with matching shinobi sandals and T-shirt. she also wears a light beige cowl-like robe.Naruto extends his hand, which Gaara reluctantly accepts.Gaara brings Naruto to her room, it was almost as bland as Naruto's, but it was still nicer. it had a splash of color, and she had a light. not to mention how big and comfy her bed looked. they sat down o her bed, and talked. they talked about their troubles, about their family's neglect, about their ways of coping. but they didn't just talk about negative things, they also talked about what they did, their hobbies, their dreams, their families, everything. turns out, they had a lot in common."oh, i just remembered something, i promised Hamoru id bring him with me." Naruto says"who's Hamoru..?" Gaara asks as Naruto reveals the summoning tattoo and focuses chakra into it.'poof' "mmrawrle!" Hamoru meows/roars happily"this is Hamoru, the boss of the dragons." Naruto introduces, and Hamoru flutters over to Gaara where he snuggles into her neck and rests on her shoulder"he's cute.." Gaara remarks, and Hamoru starts to purr and then meows"you want her to sign the contract..?" Naruto asks and Hamoru nods. Gaara is left confused"do you think anyone would notice if we disappeared for a few minutes?" Naruto asks, and Gaara waits for a few moments before shaking her head in the negative "alright. take my hand." Naruto says and Gaara accepts. in the blink of an eye, there they were, on thousand spike mountain. Gaara was a little shocked, but it didn't really show on her face. they appeared at the peak of thousand spike mountain, where a few things lay, but most importantly the summoning contract."if i sign this, will we be able to see each other more often..?" Gaara asks sheepishly. she didn't know why, but she felt safe around him, like she could confide all her troubles in him and he wouldn't judge her in the slightest."probably. time works differently here, how differently, im not sure. but i know that two hours here is almost nothing in the mortal realm." Naruto starts "now, if you want to join the contract, you have to sign your name in your blood on this big stone tablet. its alright, the dragons can heal the wound." Naruto explains and Gaara, without hesitation, forms a sand kunai, cuts her finger and signs her name."now, if you want to be able to come and go and summon, you need to A: learn the draconic jutsu for summoning, or B: get the dragon tattoo. Hamoru will have to bite you and heal the wound with his healing fire for you to get it." Naruto continues.Gaara holds out her arm and waits for Hamoru to do his thing.'CHOMP!'Gaara recoils in pain, but that pain quickly disappears when Hamoru heals the wound. when Gaara looks back at her arm, there's a tattoo of a dragon on it, though to most people it would look like a cartoonish cat with horns and wings.for context, the dragons have the vague form of a cat. you know those really cutesy cartoon cats? they look like those. but, as mentioned, with horns and wings. they each have a certain color associated to their element, with either a lighter shade of their color for details or a darker shade, depending on their main color's shade.a few moments of explaining how the tattoo works later, a sandy yellow dragon with darker yellow details approaches Gaara. its about the size of Gaara's head. it growls something, and it appears Gaara can now understand them too."you want to be my personal summon..?" she sheepishly asks"mmrrr!" it purrs"...nice to meet you, Messēji.." she says and pats the now known Messēji, then her tattoo glows and transforms to look like Messēji. Naruto and Gaara spent a while just flying around thousand spike mountain, and it is way more beautiful then the name would make you think. from the snowy peak to the forest covered base, everything is majestic and magical in some way or another. heck, even the non-draconic fauna are pretty.eventually, while they're resting on top of a tree, Gaara asks Naruto something"N-Naruto-kun.. can we be f-friends..?" she asks, covering her face"what? i thought we were already friends." Naruto says with a slight head tilt.at his response, Gaara blushes slightly and peeks through her fingers "r-really..?""of course." Naruto dead pans, though you could see he was being genuine"oh, im not sure what would happen if we stay for more then 2 hours, people might realize we've gone missing. come on." Naruto says and extends his hand.Gaara accepts his hand with a blush before they poof away. Hamura giggles, knowing that they would make excellent 'Mates' as his species calls it. actually, most summons, no, most non-humans call it that. {back in Gaara's room}after reverse summoning themselves back to Garra's room, Naruto and her sat there for a few moments, Gaara profiting to rid herself of her blush.'creek' "uh, G-Gaara, h-have you seen the hokage's so-" Temari starts after opening the door, only to be left speechless at the sight of Naruto and Gaara sitting together, and Naruto not showing a single inch of fear"N-Naruto, can you come here for a moment..?" she asks and Naruto agrees, telling Gaara that he'll be back soon"what do you wish to tell me, Temari-san?" Naruto asks"d-do you know what Gaara contains..?" she asks and Naruto tilts his head in confusion "she is the container of the Ichibi, Shukaku." she says and Gaara, who was listening, begins to tear up, thinking Naruto now hates her"so?"that one word shocks both Temari and Gaara."s-so..? so she has a demon inside of her..!" Temari whisper-shouts"alright, but so do i, and so does Miiya and Umiko. sure, the Kyuubi-no-kitsune is split in three between us, but its still there." Naruto starts, and Temari, having been informed of this, still pushes"t-thats different! Gaara's seal is unstable, Shukaku takes over when she falls asleep!" she says with obvious worry on her face"so.. if i fix her seal, theres nothing to worry about?" Naruto says, and while Gaara gasps, Temari phisicallly recoils, like she was slapped across the face"come on, im the son of Minato Namikaze, one of the greatest geniuses in fuinjutsu, and im a member of the Uzumaki clan, the most skilled clan in fuinjutsu. give me a little credit." he deadpans, walks into Gaara's room and asks "Gaara, can i see your seal?""s-sure, Naruto-kun.." Temari raises an eyebrow at the 'kun' added on there by here little sister. Gaara raises her t-shirt and points to her back. on it is... a god damn storage seal.Naruto shows a slight bit of irritation at this, and inside him, a voice is heard by no one."what the hell!? they just sealed my youngest sister in someone with a storage seal!? not only is this humiliating, it will harm Sukaku!! if i could only.. hmm.. that might work.."outside, Naruto is touching it with his hand, when suddenly, his Chakra flairs up in a purple aura. the seal array starts to shift and change, transforming into the symbol of a tanuki curling in on itself. this is a sealing jutsu taught by the sage of six paths himself to each of his children, it allows one to change the seal of a jinchuriki into one that connects the jinchuriki with the beast, allowing perfect control. Shukaku isn't insane, she's just unstable with that storage seal. in fact, she loves humanity and has a sort of motherly instinct.just as the aura appeared, it disappeared. the young children were too inexperienced to even see it."uh, i think i did something." Naruto says and Temari enters the room, looks at Gaara's new seal and scurries off to huddle in the corner."N-Naruto-kun, Shukaku says thank you.. she says that the old seal was hurting her, but the new one lets her help me like she's always wanted.." Gaara explains, and the unknown voice in Naruto's mindscape smirksNaruto gives Gaara a hug "im glad i could help, Gaara-chan." those words were enough to Make Gaara faint, her face as red as a Tomato. {chapter 2: end}

its been nearly 5 years since Naruto met Gaara. in that time, much has happened. every day, Naruto would go to thousand spike mountain for 1 normal time hour, (about two weeks in thousand spike mountain) and train. train like his life depended on it. for the first real time year, he trained in perfecting his draconic hand seals. luckily, aging is different on thousand spike mountain as well.what are draconic hand seals? they are advanced hand seals used by the dragon clan summoners, at least, they did, thousands of years ago. you see, there is another perk of becoming a summoner to the dragon clan. you will start to generate draconic chakra. its what lets the dragons manipulate the elements and sub elements to the degree of perfection that they have. but for humans to use this chakra, they have to use draconic hand seals. eventually, once one has become a true dragon sage, they can learn to manipulate it without the draconic hand seals.problem is, only 43 other people have become dragon sages in the past, and only 10 of them have become true dragon sages. whats a true dragon sage? its basically someone who can mold senjutsu chakra with draconic chakra perfectly, and that is hard. it takes real years of training to be able to do that perfectly.by the end of the first real year of training, Naruto could perform any draconic jutsu (jutsu that uses draconic chakra) with only one draconic hand seal. but what did he work on for the next year(translation, 14 years in the summon realm)? he worked on the art of creating draconic jutsu. by the end of it, he could say he knew more jutsu then the sandaime Hokage.the next year was spent on chakra control and taijutsu. he learned the multi shadow clone no jutsu the year prior by observing his sisters learn it from his mother, which allowed him to learn a third thing that year, blacksmithing. by the end of the third year, he could call himself a master in all areas, but he had yet to choose a definitive taijutsu style suited for him, so all he learned was the dragon style (does not fit him) to an almost perfect degree. he used the weapons he made and the henge no jutsu alongside an alias to gain some money. why would he need money? no idea.the next year, he focused on fuinjutsu and body building, he was 6 now, so his body was developed enough that it wouldn't cause any growth stunts, at least not with the draconic chakra helping him. he wasn't a master by all means, but he was a pretty good fuinjutsu user, about Uzumaki level 6. and he was also pretty well built, he used some of his funds to buy weights, he didn't want to use gravity seals..... yet.for the final year, he did nothing but weapon training. he even made his own kenjutsu style, the rising dragon style, focused mainly on speed. he made a rising dragon style for each weapon, one for macejutsu (couldn't find the name for mace fighting), Bojutsu, Kyūdō, Naginatajutsu, etc. the list goes on, you get the idea. this kid had some free time. he also made some weapons for each style and littered them with complex sealsby the end of his 5 years (70 years on thousand spike mountain), this kid is probably one of the most overpowered shinobi in the elemental nations! thats not to say there aren't people who can beat him with ease though..now, that was all the training he did during these last five years, but what about other things?he met with Gaara multiple times a week, while she didn't train to be a jack of all trades and master of almost everything like Naruto did, she did train with Shukaku's chakra, and she did learn how to use a bow and arrow. Naruto made her one with the help of Shukaku, and he helped her get the basics down on her Kyūdō style.Gaara had made several advances on Naruto, but they would all be in vain for until Naruto can feel his emotions again, love will be a concept ungraspable to him. hehe, dont worry, my seeds of chaos (what i call my blessings) have already began to disrupt fate's course, you'll see soon enough.apart from that, Naruto had met the Kyuubi no kitsune, otherwise known as Kurama or 'Kura-chan' as Naruto called her sometimes. she acted like a tsundare, always acting mean and cold hearted, but getting all flustered if Naruto stopped giving her attention. this is probably a trait she received from being the "anger" part of Kyuubi. while she doesn't have access to her chakra, she can blend Naruto's chakra with draconic chakra and use that as a way to sync up with him and let him use her powers.but unbeknownst to Naruto, he wasn't changing without catching a few eyes. {Umiko and Miiya's POV during the 5 years}their Ani-chan was changing.thats the only word they could use to explain what was happening to him. since the Sunagakure trip, Naruto had been disappearing for an hour once a day, without fail. they had tried following him, but he would always lose them somewhere along the way. and from the point they lost him, one hour would pass and he would reappear. it was more then just odd, it was abnormal.and on top of that, he was becoming even more distant from them! he started to stop show up at all for anything, he was always in his room or outside. he never even ate breakfast! did he know how to cook? (yes, yes he did. he squeezed that in along side fuinjutsu and bodybuilding) and if so, how did he cook without any utensils? (he has all the equipment he needs in his scrolls) and what about ingredients?! (he got plenty from thousand spike mountain and he kept them minty fresh in stasis-storage scrolls) all these things were mysteries to the two Uzumaki-Namikaze girls, and they needed to find out something-anything!so one day, the sneaked into his room after he took a shower. and what they saw? it shocked them.their Aniki had the body of an athlete! or something like that! his toned muscles, his strong arms, that cool dragon tattoo that they didn't realize he had ever gotten, it was so much. just the sight of his abs was enough to make them blush.now they knew something was up. he wasn't just going out for one hour a day for four years to get THAT kind of body, those muscles looked like they took longer then he was alive to build up.despite all these muscles, he looked so lean, so nimble.. many in the village could only dream of having bodies as perfect as their ni-chans, and he was a 7 year old!the had to get closer to him, but how? the academy is starting in only a few months, maybe they could get closer that way. during the 5 years, Naruto's 'parents' had only gotten more distant, if that was even possible.the same old treatment kept getting worse and worse, but eventually, they forgot about him. they stopped glancing at him, stopped glaring at him, heck, they would find other people to blame Miiya and Umiko's pranks on, though those pranks were starting to become way rarer. they even stopped calling him for lunch, the only thing they did for him.his sisters were surprisingly the most disturbing development. they really love their big brother, and normally, thats a good thing! its perfectly normal! normally being the key word here. see, while they aren't quite yet bordering on infatuation, they are getting dangerously close to that line. and thats with my intervention reducing their feelings towards Naruto.ive been around the Naruto multiverse many times, and whenever a universe gives Naruto sisters, they almost always become infatuated with him. almost always. i was hoping in this universe, they would be normal! sigh... well, at least Naruto isn't interested in incest, so even when it does get that far, it will just be one sided. thank goodness, incest really grosses me out.anyways, we've been talking about the time skip, now lets get to the present. {present day}Naruto was finally done with his training. at least, for now. he knew that he wasn't the strongest by a long shot, but he was strong. at least low chunin to elite chunin. he needed experience, and you know, basic knowledge. he was strong, but without wisdom, power is worthless.and if he wanted to live life the way he wanted, he would have to be a ninja. so the best place to get both knowledge and become a shinobi is the academy. luckily, he's joining this year. the academy lasts five years, five years he would utilize to amass as much information and wisdom as possible.and today, he would take the entrance exam.Naruto was outside the academy. tons of older children from other years were gathering to enter the school, clearly, you need to past a test each year to be accepted for further education.he enters the school and walks up to the receptionist."im here for the entrance exam. first year.""huh..? oh, yes, go ahead. first year entrance exam.. i think thats Orenmaru-san... room 104." she says while reading her magazineNaruto walks down the hall until he reaches room 104, enters and takes a seat. the room is pretty plain as far as classrooms go.about 20 minutes later, all the students (around 40) are seated and a man with orange hair walks in."my name is Orenmaru. ill be your sensei for your first year of the academy. if you pass the test, that is." he says and starts passing out papers"this test is a simple ten question written exam. if you fail this, don't worry. accuracy with kunai and shuriken count as extra credit, so we'll be heading outside to the target fields in one hour. we can leave earlier if you all finish quicker, but no pressure. don't want you making mistakes because of stress." he explains while passing out the papers and pencils."now.. begin." he claps his hands and the sounds of pencils scribbling on paper becomes almost obnoxious. Naruto takes a quick look at the test. its really nothing that hard, even he, with his limited knowledge could pass something this simple with at least 80% accuracy. {around 40 minutes later}Naruto had been finished with his test for 20 minutes, he passed it to Orenmaru as soon as he passed by."attention everyone! its time to go test your accuracy. my aid, Mizuki, will grade your tests while we go do this."Naruto began to make his way to the target fields along side the other students.it was a pretty simple test. targets at 5 meters, 10 meters and 15 meters. everyone gets ten kunai and ten shuriken, you get graded based off of how close to the center of each target you hit.luckily, Naruto had trained in kunai and shurikenjutsu, so he aced the test and got 100%, but it was rather easy, so most people got 70 to 90%.later that day, all the students were told to report to the academy for 5 days out of the week, from Monday to Friday, and that the Hokage expected great things from all of them. {time skip 5 years}the academy was.. less useful then Naruto had first judged. he had found it prudent to wear several different limiter seals so he didn't show off too much power while still making it look like he tried. to my personal relief, Naruto's sisters were never in the same class as him, so their feelings didn't evolve as fast as they would have otherwise. they still haven't breached the border. the longer that line isn't crossed, the better.Naruto had still learned a lot during his five years, but mostly Konohagakure history and propaganda. he also learned math, geometry, science and biology. those are the main subjects he found useful, and he could see how they would be useful to a ninja....but flower pressing? really? thats what they learn instead of first aid?? me-damn it.. maybe i should watch a different universe for a lil' bit.. maybe after this chapter or the next chapter.Naruto had not completely stopped training. during the years, he would continue to practice blacksmithing all through out the years. he decided to wait until he graduated to return to thousand spike mountain, that way he could actually say he was a shinobi when he started to train new things.Naruto had pretty much learned everything the academy could teach him, and more. he had used his tajuu-kage-bunshin-no-jutsu combined with henge no Jutsu to read and memorize almost every book in the library of Konoha. he knew almost everything available to him as an academy student.he was sitting in the back corner of the classroom, staring out the window."last day, huh..? i wonder how Gaara-chan is doing.." he muses. he was always early, too early. like, he was earlier then Iruka (his final year's teacher)the other students slowly began to pile in. he took notice of some of the more noteworthy students in his class. first was Shino Aburame, a member of the Aburame clan, notorious for being living hives for various insects and being able to use said insects to fight. his way of thinking was based off of data and logic, Naruto liked that about the boy. he sat next to Naruto in the back of the class, and they shared acknowledging nods.up in the front of the class was Kiba Inuzuka, one of the more brash and loud students, a member of the Inuzuka clan, renowned for their advanced senses and ninken partners. he had a small white puppy on top of his head. though he was bold, arrogant and rather misogynistic, his pack mentality meant he would follow orders without much complaint and would be loyal to a fault. Naruto, while he disliked Kiba for a variety of reasons, he knew that if push came to shove, Kiba would have his back.next to Kiba sat Sasuke Uchiha, the target of affection of many fangirls in the class and a member of the Uchiha clan, known for their visual prowess and ocular technique, the Sharingan. he was arrogant, prideful, emo and probably gay. he sat next to Kiba for the self proclaimed reason of staying away from the fangirls, since Kiba was one of the least romantically liked people in the class. Naruto dislikes Sasuke, plain and simple.in the middle of the class sat three girls. Satsuki Uchiha, sister of Sasuke Uchiha. she has long silky black hair and a rather well developed body. she, unlike her brother, was rather humble. she liked to chat and girl out, but when it came to anything shinobi related, she would became a cold and calculated kunoichi. Naruto respected her attitude.on her right was Yakumo Kurama, a member of the Kurama clan, experts on Genjutsu. she has long smooth brown hair, and like Satuki, was pretty well endowed. Kurama was the most skilled of her clan, but her body was rather weak due to a malevolent demon called the Ido possessing her body when she was younger. the Hokage sealed off the Ido, and she was able to join the academy and begin to build her body. Naruto respected he abilities and her will.on Satsuki's left was Hinata Hyuuga, a member of the Hyuuga clan that, like the Uchiha clan, had great visual prowess and an ocular Jutsu, the Byakugan. she had silky, dark navy hair (i don't know how to describe her hair) and pupiless, lavender eyes. she wore a big, baggy coat, so no one could really judge whether she has big or small assets. Naruto respected her confidence and can-do attitude.the three were the most sought after girls in the class, but they never accepted any date proposals, no matter ho many they got. some started to speculate that they all swung the other way and were secretly dating each other, but no proof was ever found to support the suspicions.then, there was Shikamaru Nara, from the Nara clan, also known as the 'lazy genius clan'. the name fit, because Shikamaru was an absolute tactical and non tactical genius. but he was, well, lazy. Naruto respected his intelligence, but found him way too lazy.then the-"alright everyone, today is the day! the last exam you have before graduating to Gennin!".. alright, no more introductions, Iruka cut me off. besides, you probably know the rest of the cast already, don't you?"this test is a multiple part exam. first, a written test." he stats, passing out the papers. "after that, we'll go test your accuracy with kunai and shuriken." he finishes passing out the papers and pencils "i know, this seems like all your previous entrance tests. but after the accuracy test, you'll have a taijutsu test and finally a ninjutsu test. those tests will be explained when the time comes. now... begin!"Naruto looked at the test. this was wrong, most students wouldn't be able to solve these questions. he took a look around, and then back to his own paper."i see.. they put genjutsu on some of our tests to see if we would recognise them. KI!" he thinks and the genjutsu disperses, leaving Naruto to commence jotting down answers. {about 3 hours later}as the years went on, the accuracy tests became more and more difficult and complex. this time, the targets are human shaped and 5 are 50 meters away, 5 are 60 meters away and 5 are 70 meters away.most of the civilians got around 50%, and most of the clan children got from 70% to 90%, and Naruto, as expected, got 120% by piecing not the bullseye of the targets, but places that would be either crippling or fatal. that earned him extra points.after that, the taijutsu test was pretty simple. just stay in a ring with Iruka for a maximum of 5 minutes and get in at least 3 hits before getting knocked out of the ring. Naruto, of course, knocked Iruka out of the ring with three decisive hits.and now we cut to the final exam. the ninjutsu test."alright Naruto, please perform the bunshin no Jutsu, the henge no Jutsu and the kawarimi no Jutsu." Iruka says in the testing roomNaruto does a ram sign and three perfect clones appear behind him. then they all transform into Hokage's, the first, second, third and fourth. then they all swap with chairs before the clones dispel."..wow. that was.. incredible, I've never seen anyone mix the academy Jutsu like that. you pass, you pass everything. you got the highest possible marks on every test, you truly are a prodigy." Iruka says with stars in his eyes."don't call me that.""..what?" he asks in confusion"don't call me a prodigy. everything i have, I've earned it. i refuse to be called a prodigy or a genius. thats just not who i am." Naruto says, grabs a headband with a black strap and ties it around his right bicep, just about where his summoning tattoo is.a few moments after Naruto exits the room, Iruka finally smiles."that kid.. he's going places, im sure of that." {chapter 3 end+end of prologue}

{before this chapter starts, i wanted to clear up some confusion you might have had. Miiya's name is pronounced like me+ya}Minato was stressed. every year, he had to set up the teams with the Jounin sensei. and you know? thats hard! some Jounin wanted the same Gennin hopeful, sometimes no one wanted a Gennin hopeful at all! and some... no, actually, those are the only issues! but everyone bitches and whines for hours!! 'oh, but i want the Hyuuga' and 'but i asked for the Hyuuga first!' this being an example from last year, when that prodigy Hyuuga graduated. what a headache that was..he was sitting in the meeting room used for this occasion each year. they were just waiting for.."hey everyone, sorry im late. i tripped on a rock on my way here, so i had to get my shirt cleaned." Kakashi Hatake. the most chronically late shinobi in the force, and his old student."Kakashi, please, lets just get this started." Minato says, taking a small gavel and hitting it on his desk, signifying the start of the meeting."alright, lets start with the graduating students..." Minato proceeded to list the names of every student who graduated, i noted that he didn't even flinch when naming Naruto and his rookie of the year status. this wasn't even divine interference, he genuinely forgot he even had a son. what a shit dad..after 3 straight minutes of listing names, "alright, does anyone have a special request for a team?" he asks, and several hands raise."yes, Asuma?""i'd like Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara and Choji Akimichi to reform the Ino-Shika-Cho formation." Asuma Sarutobi says."i see no problem. does anyone have an objection?" no one raised their voice. "alright. Kurenai?""i'd like Hinata Hyuuga, Shino Aburame and Kiba Inuzuka for a tracking team." Kurenai explains"that sounds like a great team. any objections?" once again, no one objected. this was going great! "next up, Kakashi?""id like to take on the team 7 of this year. you know, the dead last, the top kunoichi and the rookie of the year.""alright. any objections? yes, Fugaku?" he says, noticing that Fugaku, who had decided to take on a team this year, had raised his hand in objection"Kakashi, with all due respect and disrespect, you are lazy. giving you the rookie of the year seems like a plain disrespect to the young talent. i, personally, request Naruto, Satsuki Uchiha and Yakumo Kurama. Naruto seems like a jack of all trades, Satsuki is a Ninjutsu specialist and Yakumo is a Genjutsu specialist. Naruto seems like quite the tactician, and Satsuki and Yakumo can work together quite well together. i think they would be a great well-rounded team, not to mention that you need to train Sasuke, you're one of the only people who could teach him how to use his Sharingan." Kakashi slumped back, having been thoroughly proven that he shouldn't have the rookie of the year."alright, so Kakashi, you'll get Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno and Sai Shimura. and Fugaku, your request is granted. next,..." Minato proceeded to ask random other Jounin sensei what teams they wanted for a good 30 minutes. {team announcement day}Iruka was giving a speech about ninja stuff, Naruto wasn't really listening. he finally started to list the teams, but he wasn't focusing too much till he got to team 11."team 11 is Naruto, Satsuki Uchiha and Yakumo Kurama. alright! your sensei will come pick you up shortly, once again, im so proud of all of you, and i cant wait to see how far you go-"'creek' "team 11. go to training ground 11. don't take longer then 15 minutes." Fugaku Uchiha says, cutting off Iruka and then leaves. when Satsuki and Yakumo look at Naruto, he's gone. like, he's just disappeared.{training ground 11}Fugaku had just arrived at training ground 11, he was so sure that he would be waiting for at least 10 minutes before any of his new Gennins would arrive, but he was wrong. as soon as he stepped foot in the training ground, he noticed that Naruto, the rookie of the year, was also there. sitting on a tree branch."how on earth did you get here so fast..?" Fugaku asks"that, sensei, is a trade secret." he answers cryptically, not changing from his deadpan, blank expression."hmph." Fugaku huffs, sitting down at the base of a tree to wait for the other two.{about 10 minutes later}Satsuki and Yakumo had finally arrived at the training ground. when they got there, they saw their sensei playing cards with their teammate."got any two's?""go fish.""ahem!" they stop playing apon seeing the girls standing there."alright, now that you're all here, lets begin." Fugaku starts, putting away his deck of cards. "lets get to introductions. you cant work as a team if you don't know your team mates. ill start. my name is Fugaku Uchiha, alias; Fugaku of the wicked eye. i like tomatoes, my family, messing with one of my old buddy's and training. i dislike salty food like Ramen, rapists, thugs in general, kidnappers and traitors. my hobbies include reading, gardening and i do a bit of cooking, though I'm not as good as my wife. my dreams for the future include seeing you all reach the rank of Jounin and one day retiring so i can live happily with my wife. now that you all know how its done, you start, art girl." Fugaku explains and then points to Yakumo"hmph. my name is Yakumo Kurama. i like hanging out with my friends, making new Genjutsu, my family and sweets. i dislike bitter foods like dark chocolate or tea, rapists, kidnappers, traitors and when food is overly sweet. my hobbies include drawing, painting, baking and writing. my dreams for the future include surpassing Kurenai-teme as a Genjutsu mistress and becoming a Jounin." Yakumo introduces herself"alright, good. you next, sunshine." that wasn't a jab, Fugaku unironically calls his daughter 'sunshine'. ugh! its so cringe!"dont call me that! 'sigh'. my name is Satsuki Uchiha. i like hanging out with my friends, spicy foods, testing new Ninjutsu and my family. i dislike overly mild foods like potatoes or tomatoes, rapists, kidnappers, traitors and cowards. my hobbies include writing, cooking and training. my dreams for the future include becoming a Jounin and becoming the clan head of the Uchiha clan, that is, if Itachi-nee doesn't want to." Satsuki introduces herself"alright, fantastic. now you, genius."Naruto glared at him from that comment "my name is Naruto. i like nature and sand. i dislike being associated with the words 'genius or prodigy' rapists, kidnappers, traitors, etc. my hobbies include taking walks down the forest and training. and as for dreams for the future, i don't really have any. maybe id like to become Jounin." Naruto introduces.everyone looks slightly surprised at his introduction, most people assumed he wouldn't be into things like nature, and they really didn't understand what he meant by 'sand', but i do, and i bet you do to, dear reader!"alright! now that you've all introduced yourselves, i think you should all know that none of you are Gennin yet." that got shocked gasps from the girls and a deadpan from Naruto "before you become Gennin, you have one more test to pass." Fugaku takes out two silver bells "to beat the test, you have to get one of these bells. whoever doesn't have a bell by the end of the two hours fails and will be sent back to the academy." gears and cogs started to turn in Naruto's mind as Yakumo raises her hand"but sensei, there's only two bells!""precisely. one of you will be sent back to the academy, no matter what.""i see. this is actually about teamwork. there's never been a two man cell in the history of Konoha, and i doubt Fugaku-sensei would ask for a whole team if he wanted to take one person as a disciple. hmm.. but he never said anything about the bells needing to be whole." Naruto thinksmeanwhile, Satsuki and Yakumo nod to each other. if only two people were going to become Gennin, then it would be them."sorry Naruto-san, but we're gonna win this.. no matter what!" the girls think in unison as Fugaku prepares to start the timer."aaand... go." Fugaku says, starting the timer. as soon as he said that, Naruto, Satsuki and Yakumo disappeared all at once.{10 minutes later}Yakumo and Satsuki had grouped together, trying to come up with a plan, without success."girls. we need to talk." Naruto says, approaching them"ahh! geez.. you scared me!" Yakumo says"shh.. listen, i think I've figured out this test." Naruto said and began to explain the test and the plan he had come up with.{5 minutes later}"ah man.. now i feel like a real jack ass." Yakumo says, rubbing the back of her head in shame"well, we don't have anything to lose, so lets do this!" Satsuki says in enthusiasm as they get ready to execute Naruto's plan{around an hour later}Naruto was holding half a bell, so was Satsuki. and Yakumo had a full bell. they were all staring at their new sensei" 'sigh'....hehehe....hahaha! my god, you figured it out as soon as i explained it!? damn it, i need to work on my poker face, maybe you could give me some lessons Naruto, you've got a pretty good one." Fugaku was happy. no, he was ecstatic! never in the past couple dozen years had any team passed the bell test. it was a test meant to point the Gennin in the opposite direction from teamwork, while teamwork is the main goal of the test. he had really hit the jackpot, this team was absolutely perfect! they passed with flying colors! they wouldn't need too many team building exorcises like other cells, instead, he could get on to training them as soon as possible!what excited Fugaku the most was Naruto. according to him, he had figured out the true meaning of the test as soon as he brought out the bells. the kid might have claimed to not be a genius or prodigy, but he was dead wrong. Naruto says into the microphone."Raven, in place. target is in sight. preparing to cut off target's escape rout." Satsuki says into the microphone."Mirage, in place. target is in sight. preparing to aid Raven in cutting off target's escape rout." Yakumo says into the microphone."demon eye here. you may proceed in three.. two.. one. go!" Fugaku says into his own microphone.Naruto leaped down onto the ground and lunged for the 'target'. it began to run away, so Satsuki and Yakumo cut off its rout of escape. finally, Naruto picked the beast up by its chest in a way so it couldn't attack it."mission, capture Tora the cat, successful." Naruto deadpans as they begin to make their way back to the Hokage tower.{the Hokage tower}"team 11, reporting in. Tora the cat has been captured and returned to the fire daimio's wife." Fugaku reports to the Hokage"thank you Fugaku. now, we have a few missions left for you, painting a council member's fence, babysitting a council member's kids, walking the Inuzuka dogs, and-" Hiruzen Sarutobi, who was working as the mission distributer, is cut off by Satsuki"no! i refuse! i refuse to do any more of these.. these chores that you call missions! give us something that's worthy of our shinobi skills!" she screams, pulling at her hair in frustration"now now, you're all still green Gennin! these missio-" Iruka starts, but Yakumo cuts her off"come on Iruka-sensei! D-rank missions should be given to the academy students! they're little more then chores, civilians could accomplish them but they're too lazy so they make Ninja do them!" Yakumo yells in slight anger"Yakumo!" Iruka attempts to start, but Hiruzen starts to laugh"if they want a C-rank, i don't see why they shouldn't get one. they've completed more then the mandatory amount of D-ranks, and I've got just the mission. an escort mission, to the land of waves. then, there's a secondary mission of protecting the client, Tazuna the bridge builder, until he finishes his bridge. this will count as two C-rank missions under your records. team 11, do you accept?" Hiruzen explains then asks"hell yeah!" Yakumo and Satsuki yell in unison"..it would be a good experience." Naruto says"alright then, you've heard my team, we accept, Sandaime-sama." Fugaku accepts the mission"haha! please, just call me Hiruzen, and if you really insist, just call me Sarutobi-sama, im not the Hokage anymore. bring in Tazuna!"a moment later, an old man carrying a bottle of sake comes in."heeh!? these are the brats that are supposed to protect me? they're nothin' but a bunch o' brats! well, the red-head looks capable enough, but still!" Tazuna stammers out, clearly drunk"i assure you, Tazuna-san, you're in capable hands. we're shinobi, even if we're still Gennin. no thug or bandit will be a match for us. and if we happen to cross an enemy shinobi, our sensei is Fugaku of the wicked eye, one of the strongest Jounin in the village." Naruto reassures."hmph. if you say so. lets get going, faster we get to wave, faster i can get my bridge built!" Tazuna slurs out, taking a swig from his bottle of sake and walking to the door "ill meet you at the east gate.""alright, team 11! pack for at least a month! we're going on our first C-rank mission!" Fugaku exclaims, clearly excitedSatsuki and Yakumo turned to look at Naruto, but he was already gone"he jumped out the window." Hiruzen says calmly{at the Uzumaki-Namikaze estate}"Nee-chan, w-where are you going..?" Miiya asks from Naruto's door, seeing him pack his things for some reason unknown to her"i've got a C-rank escort mission to the land of waves. i was told to pack for a month just in case." Naruto explains, turning to look at his sister"o-oh.. s-so, we wont see y-you for a whole m-month..?" Umiko asks, peaking her head in from the door. she sounds weirdly distressed"most likely not. packing for a month is just a precautionary measure. the mission should take two weeks, more or less." Naruto explains, turning back to finish sealing his things in his scrolls."a few minutes later, he's all packed up. he turns to his little sisters "ill see you later, Imōto-tachi." his little sisters blush at his words, but he disappears in a puff of smoke before they can say anything."onee-chan.. please be safe.." they both think at the same time"girls! what are you doing over here?" Kushina asks from behind them "wow, we need to fix up this room.. is it a guest room?" she asks to no one in particular"its Naruto-nee's room." Miiya says"oh.. Naruto..?" Kushina says, putting a hand to her chin "..why does that name sound so familiar.." she thinks. alright, maybe there is something messing with their head, but it's nothing divine. this is just some plain Genjutsu! or maybe even Fuinjutsu! but who the hell would do something like brainwash the Hokage and his wife so they ignore their son? ill look into this, but you, dear readers, still have a story to enjoy!{eastern gate}Naruto was waiting for the rest of his team to arrive. Tazuna was there already, so he decided to start up a conversation."tell me, Tazuna-san, how is the land of wave like?" Naruto asks, startling Tazuna a little bit"it's beautiful. the land of waves is a trade center for a bunch of nations, and sure, the mist is quite intense around those parts, but that just adds on to the beauty. it's.. it's hard to explain, you'll get it once you see it." Tazuna says with a far off look"...something happen to it..?""wha-!?" Tazuna sputters off"pff... its written all over your face." Naruto explains"...do you know who Gato is? he's a rich tycoon, he owns Gato industries. a few years ago, he came to wave and bought off all the shipping companies, he totally monopolized it. now, all produce has to be brought onto the island, all trading, everything, has to go through him first. he has a strangle hold on our home, and he's draining us of every Ryo he can. even the Daimio is rather poor." he explains somberly"so thats why you want to build a bridge. doing that would give wave access to the mainland without the need of the shipping industry that Gato has control over. doing so will free you from Gato's grasp." Naruto deduces."you've got the gist of it, brat." Tazuna concludes, taking a swig of Sake.3 minutes later, the rest of team 11 arrive and they begin their trek to the land of Wave.{around 4 hours later}this was pathetic. two C-rank missing nin, the demon brothers, had tried to ambush them, using a genjutsu to disguise themselves as a puddle, when it hasn't even rained in over a week! the sky was completely clear too, what did they think was going to happen?after a bit of questioning, they revealed that Gato had hired them to kill Tazuna so his bridge wouldn't ruin his hold on wave. apon learning this, Fugaku asked his team whether they wanted to continue now that it had been bumped up to a B rank mission at the least. of course, Tazuna tried to guilt trip them, but only Satsuki and Yakumo fell for it. Naruto wanted to see Wave when it was returned to beauty. but non the less, they decided to continue the mission.of course, they sent for backup. i mean, what kind of idiot would let his students walk into a situation clearly out of their league and not send for backup?one of Tazuna's buddies helped them cross over the water to Wave, but he quickly had to leave, lest he be seen with them and incur the wrath of Gato.so here they were, walking down a path to wave's main town.'rustle' they hear a rustle in the bush. Satsuki throws a kunai into the bush, only for a snow white bunny to hop out, terrified. while Yakumo was scolding Satsuki, Naruto was thinking. hard."hold on, rabbits of that species should only be white under two conditions, winter or captivity.. that means.." Naruto snaps his eyes open in realization "everyone, get down!" Naruto shouts, pushing Tazuna to the ground while Fugaku pushes the girls.just in time too, because an enormous Odachi (Japanese broadsword) flies right by, slicing the air where their necks would have been and stopping inside a tree. team 11 and Tazuna get up, look at the sword and see a man crouching on the handle. he's wearing black anbu-style pants. bandages for a belt, more bandages to cover the bottom side of his face, cow print arm warmers and a slashed Kirigakure forehead protector sideways on his head. he has spiky black hair and no eyebrows."Zabuza Momoichi, demon of kirigakure. A-rank missing Nin. i assume you were hired by Gato to kill our client?" Fugaku states more then asks"Fugaku of the wicked eye.. I'm honored someone as prestigious as you knows who i am! in any case, just hand over the old man and ill let you go unharmed." Zabuza says, making a 'give me' motion with his hand"i apologize, Zabuza, but i cant do that. he's our client." Fugaku says, activating his Sharingan "kids, protect Tazuna." he simply says before dashing forward, slashing Zabuza across the chest with a kunai before the man explodes into a splash of water "Mizu-bunshin.. shit! kids!" Fugaku yells, looking over to see Naruto fending off Zabuza's blade with a long, silver katana."ha! you've got muscle, I'll give you that!" Zabuza compliments before jumping back."leave them alone! your fight is with me." Fugaku grits out, weaving a set of hand seals "Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu!" he shoots out a massive fire ball"Suiton: Mizu Dan No Jutsu!" Zabuza shouts after his own set of hand seals, shooting a massive water bullet to intercept with Fugaku's fire ball, creating a huge explosion of mist. Naruto could hear Zabuza mumble something under his breath, causing chakra to flow into the mist and make it thicker"stay close, everyone! the mist is chakra laced!" Satsuki says, backing up to Tazuna as Yakumo and Naruto did the same, making a sort of barrier around him."your sharingan wont help you in my Kirigakure no jutsu.." he laughs "Eight points; Larynx; Spine, Lungs, Liver, Jugular, Subclavian artery, Kidneys, Heart.. hahaha... so many choices to fatally wound you.. which one to chose..?" his voice echoes around, causing shivers to run down Satsuki, Yakumo and Tazuna's spinesNaruto remains calm.Fugaku makes a few hand seals and whispers something, invoking an enormous gust of wind, dispersing the mist."well shit." Zabuza curses, getting drop kicked by Fugaku and dispersing into water"come on out, Zabuza. you cant hide from these eyes, so why bother?" Fugaku demands, but gets knocked off his feet and falls into the water by Zabuza."what..? this water, its way too thick.. hold on..! Fugaku thinks, trying to exit the water, but only succeeding in time to see Zabuza finish a string of hand seals."Suirō no jutsu!" Zaubuza says with victory oozing from his voice. a moment later, water comes up and traps Fugaku in a water bubble. luckily for him, Uchiha's have special techniques to let them hold their breath longer then normal people."now brats, if you want your sensei to live, hand over the bridge builder!" Zabuza demands"run! you're no match for him! keep the client safe!" Fugaku shouts, breaking the laws of physics since he's underwater and shouldn't be able to speak, but don't read into that too much, its fiction."Satsuki, Yakumo, keep Tazuna safe. he wont be able to fight effectively while maintaining that Jutsu. i can take him.." Naruto says, readying himself in his rising dragon sword stance, his blade of Mura-sama in hand"hahaha! you, take me? sorry kid, you're just a brat playing dress up in my eyes. ill only recognise you as a real ninja once you're in my bingo book." Zabuza laughs and makes a one handed ram seal with his free hand, creating 4 water clones to go fight.the clones went to swarm Naruto, but as soon as they got within his range, he slashed them all in half in one swift motion, red lightning sparkling from his sword. he quickly ran onto the water and began approaching Zabuza at a startling pace.the other members of team 11 looked on in surprise, they had no idea Naruto was this strong.Naruto clashed with several water clones, cutting them in half with his blade of Mura-sama. at one point, they started using jutsu, but Naruto slashed through those too."its over." Naruto proclaims, moving to cut Zabuza in half. before he could, he felt a sharp pain in his abdomen. looking down in shock, he saw a long tanto sticking out of his body."yeah, it is." Zabuza proclaims, beginning to chuckle.{somewhere}deep within Naruto, deeper then his mindscape, inside his very soul, a void white rose that had laid there for over 10 years started to finally bloom. as it did, Zeus Mantic plucked it from the ground and smiled as the soulscape began to morph to accommodate a new being. "its time.. hehehe.. haha.. hahaha! oh, screw you, fate! chaos always prevails!" i shout and let the flower flow through a non-existent breeze, out of the soulscape and into the mindscape.{back in the physical plane}"heh.. you know, i've got to hand it to ya kid.. you were strong. if we weren't enemies, id ask you to help me overthrow the current Mizukage. with a few years of experience, im sure you would have become stronger then any member of the seven swords." Zabuza started "ill remember you." he said and noticed that the kid had sealed his sword"hehehehehehe..." Naruto began to chuckle, before it turned into full laughter "hahaha!" everyone was surprised at his show of emotion as he turned to face Zabuza.Naruto's eyes turned from a greyish lavender to a prismatic rainbow, his hair turned from red with silver streaks to pure, void white and his whisker marks disappeared. he had a huge grin on his face, full of mirth."Zabuza Momoichi, i thank you for waking me. i was asleep for so, so very long."{end of chapter 4}

Zabuza was sitting in a tree, concealing his presence. he did not think a Gennin would be strong enough to defeat his water clones, even if they are just one tenth as strong as him. he had to admit, the kid had skill. with a few years of experience, he would make a great Shinobi.then, when Naruto was about to slash the clone he replaced himself with to hold the water prison, he moved, taking out his spare Tanto and hopping down onto the water. the kid's teammates were horrified when he was impaled through the abdomen.Zabuza made a small speech, but then he heard laughter. when le looked, he saw Naruto (check last chapter for description) staring back at him"Zabuza Momochi, i thank you for waking me. i have been asleep for so, so very long." he said, his prismatic eyes glimmering with joy.then, in a blur, Naruto punched him three times in the gut, some sort of purple electricity dancing on his fist."non the less, you are my enemy." he says loud enough for everyone to hear. then, he made a finger gun gesture, and a red light started to form on a point at the tip of his fingers "space manipulation, reversal; red." he says, making a shooting motion, causing the red dot to explode in a huge force of gravity, knocking Zabuza off the water and dispelling his clones"..what are you..?" Zabuza asks"i am the manifestation of Naruto's emotions. i exist because he locked them away for so long. then there was his intervention, but that doesn't matter. i am Naruto, and Naruto is i. we are separate, but we are also one. emotions are a powerful force, one might even say they are the driving force of the cosmos itself, though thats being too philosophical." Naruto explains, just loud enough for Zabuza to hear him"I..I'm not.. done.. yet..!" Zabuza starts "I'll slaughter y-" he gets cut off by three senbon hitting his neck, presumably ending his life. when Fugaku, having been released when Zabuza's clones popped when he was hit by Naruto, checked on the body, it had no pulse."he's dead." after he confirms, a shinobi wearing a strange white mask pops down from the trees"i thank you, leaf shinobi. I've been tracking him for a while, I'm not sure if i would have been able to defeat him on my own." she says"a hunter nin. alright, dispose of the body, its your job, i wont ask you for anything to collect the bounty." Fugaku says, moving to catch Naruto, who was falling, clearly exhausted from doing whatever kind of technique he did. he would have to ask the Gennin later. Naruto's appearance had reverted back to normal."thank you for understanding." the hunter nin says, before picking up the body"hey, what are you- wait, no!" Fugaku starts, then shouts as the hunter nin takes Zabuza's corpse(?) away "damn it!""what's wrong, sensei?" Yakumo asks innocently"Zabuza is still alive." he starts, causing gasps to emit from everyone "Hunter nin are supposed to destroy body's on sight so that no village secrets get leaked. that hunter nin, she took the body away. a normal hunter nin would be excecated for doing something like that. and notice the weapon she used? senbon. those kinds of weapons are also used by Medic nin to put patients into a near death state for complicated operations. the easiest place to hit to send someone into this state is the neck. you see where this is going?" Fugaku explains"so that would mean that the hunter nin is a fake, most likely a Ronin that Zabuza trained up to help him or hired, otherwise they would be in the bingo book as a missing nin." Satsuki deduces, and she deduced correctly."t-then i'm not safe..?" Tazuna asks with fear dripping from his voice"dont worry, Tazuna-san, we know Zabuza is coming, he wont have the advantage of surprise next time. and plus, we'll be training until he recovers. we did some pretty heavy damage to him, and a near death state locks up all the muscles, so he'll need to recover for a couple weeks before he'll feel ready to face us." Fugaku says, giving Tazuna a reassuring shoulder pat"..if you say so.." Tazuna mumbles"say, Tazuna-san, how far away is your house? Naruto isn't waking up, and his breaths are getting more shallow.." Yakumo says with her fingers on Naruto's neck."...its about a 24 minute run from here, i recognise this lake." Tazuna answers"lets make that 8 minutes, hold on Tazuna-san!" Fugaku says, grabbing Tazuna onto a piggy-back position while Satsuki does the same for Naruto. Satsuki was blushing slightly, probably since she felt Naruto's muscles so close.with that, they bolted off at mid-Gennin speeds, speeding past the trees in a blur.{in the soulscape}Naruto was warm. he felt warmer then he'd ever felt. he opened his eyes, showing a field filled with flowers and hill without any flowers, except for a single white rose on it. he got up from laying on his side, and looked around. around the field was a ring of trees that seemed to go on for eternity, and there were prismatic orbs floating in the air. a striking contrast to the dark, empty abyss that it was when he was three."..where am i..?" Naruto asks to no-one in particular, admiring the view"this is our soul. pretty nice, isn't it?" he hears a voice from behind himhe whips around to see a boy who could pass for his twin. he looked almost exactly like him, hairstyle, facial structure, body type, same clothes, heck, even his muscles looked just as well built as Naruto's. only his hair was void white, his eyes were prismatic rainbow and he didn't have Naruto's whisker marks"who are you..?" Naruto asks"i am you." Naruto(?) answers"that.. that doesn't make any sense." Naruto says, grabbing his head with his hands in confusion"ha! i know." Naruto(?) starts "lets put it like this. when you were young, you didn't just mask or hide your emotions, you subconsciously sealed them, away. they were locked away for so long that they ended up manifesting as a second soul, a split personality. thats who i am. you can call me Kanjomaru (litterally meaning 'emotion'). and while you locking me away did have a factor on my manifestation, it was also due to the external intervention of him." Kanjomaru explains"and who is him?" Naruto asks"the first one, the last one, he who was there when there was nothing, he who started everything, the origin, the harbinger of chaos, he goes by so many titles that its hard to keep count, and he earned every last one of them. he also goes by many names, Hamoru, Mantic, Busbie (litterally means 'victory', though i don't remember which language), but his most common name is Zeus Mantic, the deity of infinity. its said that litterally nothing is beyond his grasp, and that he hates the concept of fate, hence why he tries to sow chaos where ever he finds fate is too bland. and, well, he found our fate too bland, so he planted a seed of chaos." Kanjomaru points to the hill with the white rose "there it is. the white rose. it bloomed when we got stabbed in the gut and thats when i woke up." he's talking about me! yaaay!"thats.. a lot of info." Naruto mumbles, scratching his head"yes it is indeed. anyways, while you're here, i suppose i should tell you what's happening to you." he got a confused look at that and he decided to continue "my purpose is to merge with you and return your emotions. though, it is going to take some time. along side some minor emotions, your emotions will be split up in six. yellow, joy. blue, sadness. green, fear. orange, bravery. red, anger. purple, love. each of these colors represents not only emotions but also parts of the power given to me as a part of Zeus Mantics blessing." he explains"alright, but how far have you merged with me?" Naruto asksKanjomaru smiles "as of now, I've fused with you enough to unlock your joy, your happiness. and along side it, super advanced mental capabilities, hyper advanced reaction time, advanced learning and a sixth sense. the sixth sense basically works like the 'gut feeling' most people get, but its almost always accurate. if you feel like you should stand guard instead of one of your teammates, then do it. if you feel like something bad's gonna happen if you walk in a certain direction, walk the other way." Kanjomaru explains "oh, it looks like you're waking up. whenever i finish merging with you a certain amount, you'll die and then revive immediately. this is so that your body doesn't interfere with your soul changing. after all, the soul and the body are one in the same, at least that's my theory. your body will be a little different too. more white streaks in your hair, one less whisker mark and your eyes will have gained yellow streaks." he explains further as he see's Naruto's body start to fade"wait! when's the next time we'll meet?" Naruto asks"the next time you get a burst of emotional energy, and by that, imagin this; your emotions are each in a soda bottle. the more you're in a situation that would evoke that emotion, the more shaken up the emotion gets. until eventually, it bursts. thats a burst of emotional energy. of course, when he stabbed you it was my joy because i was finally awake. but that was a one time thing, i cant trigger the merging anymore then that, so the rest is up to you.""..alright. goodbye, Kanjomaru." Naruto bids farewell"hey! its not like im going anywhere, ill still be here, hanging out in our soulscape. but yeah, ill see you later, Naruto." Kanjomaru says goodbye as well.{at Tazuna's house}Naruto's senses were slowly coming back to him. first was feeling. no pain, nothing was broken, so thats a relief. next came hearing"...ad, Naru......ing to be fi.....ight?...." came the familiar yet blurry voice of Satsuki"i do......ow, Satsuki. he ha...o pulse, but he's bre.......gain, so thats good." Fugaku says. the sounds were becoming more clearer.next came smell. it smelled like old oak wood, mist and food. delicious smelling food."lo...k, he..aking up!" Yakumo says as Naruto gets up, sight returning to him."..my head hurts." Naruto says simply, grabbing his head in discomfort "are we at Tazuna-san's house?""yeah Naruto, we are. now, do you mind telling me what exactly it is you did back there?" Fugaku asks"...did what? i got stabbed in the abdomen, blacked out, and then i woke up here." Naruto says. and the reason Fugaku, an ex-anbu captain and one of the most perceptive people in the entire village, didn't detect a lie from Naruto is because he was technically telling the truth. he was stabbed, blacked out and woke up in Tazuna's house. he just didn't mention the whole part in his soulscape."..right after you got stabbed, you kind of.. transformed and beat up Zabuza. are you saying you don't remember?" Satsuki asks"hmm.. no, doesn't ring a bell." Naruto says with his usual deadpan expression"..how odd.." Fugaku mumbles, but internally, he's thinking that this has something to do with the kyuubi no kitsune, Kurama. not that he knew its name, heck, i just said Kurama since its the most common name. {yeah, she's got a different name} ah, alright, i guess ill find that out later. does she trust Naruto enough to tell him? {no, she finds him amusing, but she doesn't trust him yet.} alright, thats enough of us higher beings talking, the readers have a story to read!"so, Naruto-kun, did you dream of anything?" Yakumo asks"kun?" Naruto thinks "yeah, i remember a flowery field, with a single spot without any flowers being a small hill at the center of the clearing except for a white rose. there were prismatic bubbles floating everywhere." Naruto decided to tell them what his soulscape looks like"wow.. i wish i could have seen that!" Yakumo says "i know! im going to paint it!" she says and goes upstairs"well, your dream sounded nice." Satsuki says, giving a soft smile. surprisingly, Naruto gives one too. yes! it worked! hahaha! oh, i love it when a plan comes together."N-Naruto! y-you're smiling!" Satsuki says, putting a hand over her mouth in shock, eyes wide"i am?" Naruto asks, putting a hand on his mouth in kind "i haven't smiled since i was two.." he mumbles just loud enough for Yakumo (who was passing by to grab a glass of water) to hear."thats so sad!" Yakumo shouts, frowning deeplyNaruto ignores her and gets up from the couch, where he was laying down."has your friend woken up?" came a woman's voice"ah, Tsunami-san, yes, he's just woken up." Fugaku says to the now-named Tsunami"good! because breakfast is ready." she announces"ah, thats really not necessary, Tsunami-san.." Naruto tries to refute"nonsense, i insist! plus, its already made, and you wouldn't want to let all this go to waste, would you?" she says, putting a hand on her hip and glaring at the young red-heada few minutes later, everyone is sitting around the table eating the (delicious) food prepared by Tsunami."this is really good, Tsunami-san!" Yakumo says, munching on a piece of bacon"I'm glad you like it, Yakumo-chan." Tsunami chuckles, washing a plateNaruto finished up his plate and went to clean it next to Tsunami. he was so quiet that she didn't notice him till he was done.no one really noticed the yellow streaks in his irises, that themselves had become larger (because then it adds room for more colors, thats how my blessing works. and he'll be more appealing to girls with big eyes.)later that day, Fugaku had taken team 11 outside to a small lake."alright team, you've already mastered the leaf balancing exercise and the tree walking exercise, so now we're going to advance onto the next level of chakra control; water walking." Fugaku says and steps onto the lake "now, unlike tree's that have solid surfaces, the surface of water is constantly shifting. the goal of this exercise is to be able to subconsciously adapt the amount of chakra channeled to your feet to the ever shifting surface." he explains, and Satsuki and Yakumo nod "remember when i told you to pack swim suits 'just in case'? well, this is why. you will fall into the water multiple times. now go find a private place to change." he finishes"Sensei?" Naruto raises his hand"yes, Naruto?""i've already finished water walking, point balancing and the advanced leaf balancing exercise, could you maybe tell me what the next step is?" Naruto explains, shocking Fugaku"uh, sure, but could you demonstrate them, just so i can be sure?" Fugaku asks"sure." Naruto accepts. first, he steps onto the water, then starts walking on it, then does a light jog, then does a sprint. then he walks out of the water and imbeds two kunai into the ground, tip facing up, takes off his shoes and steps on them. no blood. finally, he grabs a bunch of leaves (the leaf grabbing took 2 minutes) and placed one on each of the spots his Tenketsu were, then they started to move around him simultaneously."alright Naruto, impressive. you have the Chakra control of an Elite Chunin to low Jounin. unfortunately, the other exercises are prohibited from Gennin, you'll need to become Chunin before i can Legally teach you them. maybe try doing some other things? if your chakra control is at that level, then you'll be fine. try exploring the land of waves!" Fugaku says, and Naruto agrees.soon, he finds a secluded spot to reverse-summon himself to thousand spike mountain where he could begin his sage training. after all, thats one of the only things he needed to complete training wise in order to become a jack of all trades, then he just had to master all his figurative trades (everything he's trained in){about 4 days later}Naruto was tasked with guarding Tsunami as she did her groceries today, and he had already fended off four different thug attacks sent by Gato. seriously, how many thugs has that guy got? {yes.} ...the fuck does 'yes.' mean!?!Naruto noticed a kid huddling on the road with a torn cloth, shivering"hey kid, you okay?" Naruto asks, kneeling next to the kid. it was unclear whether the kid was a girl or a boy, it was just so dirty.the kid looked up in fear and shuffled back"hey, its okay, i wont hurt you. here, have this." Naruto says, and takes out a big comfy blanket from his scroll alongside a pair of comfy clothes and a basket of bread and fruit. he leaves the things on the ground and backs off. the kid grabs them, looks at Naruto with thankful eyes and backs off to a handful of kids in the alley way, sharing things with them."that was a nice thing to do, Naruto-san." Tsunami says, smiling as Naruto returns to her side"it was the right thing to do. anyone would have done the same thing." Naruto says. beginning to walk alongside her."say, you said you met someone yesterday, what was that all about?" Tsunami asks"well, after i kind of.. blew up at Inari-" Naruto starts but is cut off by Tsunami"oh come on, that was the most polite tone i'd ever heard, i'd hardly call it blowing up. besides, Inari needed to hear that."{flash back}team 11 was eating supper and strategizing, when a kid with a fishing hat came down the stairs and stared at them"why do you even try?" Inari asks"why do we try what?" Yakumo asks with her own question"its no use, no matter how long you strategize and how hard you train, you'll never beat Gato! he's just to strong, so why even bother?" Inari shouts"kid, we're ninja. Gato may have a bunch of money and a ton of hired thugs, but non of that can compensate for shinobi training." Fugaku explains with a calm voice"you dont get it! you people come here from your fancy Ninja village and pretend to be heroes! but heroes don't exist, i learned that the hard way, and so will you! ..i bet you've lived your entire lives all comfy and cozy, i bet you've never had to suffer a day in your lives! i bet you don't even know what suffering is!" Inari shouts, causing Yakumo to cover her ears in slight pain'bam!'everyone looks at Naruto's empty eyes as he stands up "we don't know what suffering is?" he starts "one, Yakumo, when she was a child, had an evil spirit inside her, that took control of her powers and weakened her body. she was shunned for years and she almost killed her family until the demon was sealed. two, Satsuki belongs to the Uchiha clan, but her chakra nature is water, contrary to the fire element that most members have. this means that almost her entire clan looked down apon her for not being able to perform the slightest fire jutsu. do you know how hard it is for a clan heir to be treated like that? and three, me. im the Hokage's son, but you'll never find anyone knowing that he even has a son. no onw knows i exist." Naruto continues "i think we know a little bit more about suffering then you'd think." this entire time, Naruto's voice never raised to a shout, not a yell, he was just calmly speaking.Inari ran upstairs as Naruto (who had somehow already washed his plate and fork) walked to the door"where are you going?" Fugaku asks"to train."after that, Naruto trained all night and passed out in the woods.{the next morning, so in the future.. of the flash back. still in the flash back, just farther ahead then before.}Naruto woke up, sensing the presence of another person. he cursed to himself for passing out while training. he decided to pretend he was still asleep. wait, since when could he sense the presence of other people? maybe it was his sixth sense?the girl approached Naruto. he could sense killing intent from her, but it was hesitant. and then it disappeared as she shook his shoulder to wake him.Naruto slowly opened his eyes, and the girl seemed mesmerized by them "hello, miss." he starts "thank you for waking me up, i must have passed out last night during training.""ah, are you a shinobi?" she asks. she stands up brusquely, unknowingly loosening her chest binder in the process. Naruto, being the absolute legend he is, was unaffected by the sight of the two large lumps appearing in her kimono."yes, I'm a shinobi of the hidden leaf. I'm here on a mission with my team to protect the bridge builder Tazuna until he finishes his bridge to the mainland." Naruto explains, standing up himself"you must have quite the drive to get stronger, Shinobi-san." the girl remarks."Naruto." Naruto says briefly"nice to meet you Naruto-san, I'm Haku." Haku greets"like-wise. say, what are you doing so far out in the woods, Haku-san?" Naruto asks, tilting his head"a dear friend of mine has gotten very ill recently, I'm out here to collect some medicinal herbs." she explains"i see.. ill help you then. i don't particularly have anything else to do." Naruto offers. while Haku tried to refuse, she eventually let up and let Naruto help her.{a few minutes later}"slim body, long black hair with two long bangs in the front, two senbon tying a bit of her hair in a bun. soft voice, almost emotionless. almost. not to mention the fact that she carries herself like a Kunoichi. all evidence points to her being Zabuza's accomplice as Fugaku-sensei described her." Naruto thinks"my mission has one major problem." Naruto starts "Zabuza Momochi and his accomplice. they were hired by Gato to kill Tazuna." Naruto noticed that Haku tensed at this "there's just one thing i dont get, why would Zabuza trust Gato when he's obviously tricking them." this got Haku's attention"what do you mean he's tricking them?" Haku asks, trying to seem as neutral as possible"well, let me put myself in Gato's shoes. im a greedy, money grabbing tyrannical tycoon. why would i pay a high ranking missing nin and his accomplice when i can pay a bunch of thugs, wait for the Nuke nin to get the job done and when he's weakened, kill him off with the thugs, hopefully killing most of the thugs too. like that i could spend the least amount of money by only paying a couple dozen surviving thugs and then collect the bounty on Zabuza's head. at least, thats what i would do in his position with his personality." Naruto explains, and Haku's eyes widen in realization"of course, how could we have been so stupid!?" Haku thinks"and then there's the fact that if we teamed up with Zabuza and his accomplice, we could easily defeat Gato and take money directly from his vault." Naruto says, planting the seeds for a plan to form in her head.Haku, still processing the new ideas in her head, decides to ask Naruto her question "Naruto-san, do you know when someone becomes truly strong?" she asks"hmm.." Naruto puts a hand to his chin "..im most powerful when i have something to protect. so, i guess the answer to your question is, i become truly strong when I'm protecting those i care about." Naruto answersHaku smiles "correct." she congradulates as she puts the last herb in her basket. "thank you for the help, Naruto-san." she says and starts walking away, but stops "oh, and by the way, im a guy." she internally chuckles, thinking she's just messed with Naruto"haha, look at your chest." Naruto says, and Haku obliges, confused at first, but then starts blushing madly"w-w-when..""right after you woke me up, you stood up way to brusquely. thats when it happened." Naruto says and Haku blushes further "it was nice meeting you, Haku-san. tell Zabuza to think about what i said, i dont think we need to be enemies." Haku whips around at his words, but he's already gone."h-he knew the entire time..?" she asks aloud{flash back-end}"her name was Haku. she was a fairly polite girl. i think we'll meet again pretty soon, she was Zabuza's accomplice." Naruto says off handily, making Tsunami sputter"s-she was Zabuza's accomplice!?" she whisper-shouts"yeah. i might have given her the idea that Gato is going to betray them. though, given how she acted, they mostly wont team up with us. i mean, its my word against their employer. but I've planted the seeds of doubt, thats what matters." Naruto explains, smiling softly{time skip-a few days}Naruto had passed out again. this time, he had passed out in his bed. the rest of the team decided to leave him to his rest while they watched over the bridge.as team 11 approached the bridge, they noticed all the remaining bridge workers knocked out.as they walk onto the bridge, making sure that no one is dead, mist starts to roll in."hey, where's that red-head brat? i wanted a rematch!} Zabuza's voice calls out from the mist, causing team 11 to tense up.{chapter 5-end}

Naruto was annoyed. really annoyed. not at anyone in his team or something, but because not only had he passed out, he was woken by Kiba Inuzuka, quite possible one of the grossest and smelliest Gennin in the entire force. and on top of that, his teammates were nowhere to be found."Kiba, you absolutely reek. when was the last time you took a bath?" he asks"ha! real men dont need to bath." he shouts in his normal boisterous tone. team 8 had arrived this morning, and while the rest of the team went to the bridge, Kiba was tasked with waking up Naruto"Kiba thats degusting." Naruto says, getting up and putting on his jacket.Kiba leaves on that note to go join his team, muttering something about stupid red-heads not understanding anything.Naruto took a few minutes to get ready. you know, take a quick shower, freshen up, get some shinobi clothes on, that kind of stuff."ahh!"Naruto, who had just finished up, glanced in the direction of downstairs as he heard Tsunami scream"let my mom go!"Naruto had hidden himself downstairs quickly to observe the situation. two thugs had barged into the house and grabbed Tsunami. they were planning on using her as a hostage, but Inari came out into the living room with a fork, telling them to let his mom go. one of the thugs moved to cut him down, but Tsunami told them that she's commit suicide if they hurt a hair on his head. when the thugs moved to leave, Inari rushed at them, fork at the ready.just as one of them was about to cut his neck clean through, Naruto's reaction time sped up considerably, it was as if time had completely stopped. Naruto hopped down. he yanked the sword from the thug, charged it with chakra and sliced the thug in half... vertically. though, it looked like he was untouched. then Naruto moved to the other thug and sliced him in half the same way. he grabbed Tsunami and moved behind the thugs outside.time resumed.all at once, both thugs fell apart into two, Inari backed up for a moment, before he saw Naruto behind them, a broken Katana in hand, the same one that was about to cut Inari's head off, only it looked like it had shattered"looks like this sword couldn't handle being swung at that speed." Naruto laments as he tosses the useless handle away and puts down Tsunami, who was still shocked"w-what just happened..?" she asks"Inari bought me enough time to take care of these thugs. good work kid, you should be proud. you were brave." Naruto explains as he ruffles Inari's hair"i..i did?""of course, Inari. now, i need you to keep your mom safe, i have a feeling that Zabuza is attacking the bridge, and i dont think team 8 will be enough to beat him." Naruto explains but discretely makes three shadow clones to watch over the area"yes, boss!" Inari shouts, tears welling up in his eyes as he gets a look of determination"im off."with those parting words, Naruto gets into a mad dash for the bridge. at this speed, he wouldn't be able to get there in time. he started to call out to nature, and nature called back.the draconic sage mode consists of communicating to nature and sharing one's chakra with it. in exchange, Nature will share back, and actively work with the sage to create Senjutsu chakra. a true Draconic sage can create Senjutsu Chakra with Draconic Chakra blended into the mix, but thats extremely hard.the best perk of Draconic sage mode is that you can go into sage mode without needing to stand still, because you form a connection with nature itself. due to this.. 'contract', one doesn't need to focus to contact nature, one simply has to think of sharing their chakra with Nature and it will be so.hes eyes are outlined by white and black, and other then that? it looks like Sukuna's tattoos, except all the tattoos on the right side of his body is white. when he opens his eyes, the right one is completely black with a white diamond pupil, and his left eye is the same but inverted.as soon as Sage mode fully sets in, Naruto creates a sonic boom as he briefly breaks the sound barrier, before slowing back to a steady speed. in less then 20 seconds, he arrives at the bridge.and the sight horrifies him.right as he arrives, he sees a large dome of ice mirrors. inside is Yakumo on the ground, covered in needles, not breathing, and Satsuki quickly joins her on the ground, also covered in Senbon and not breathing. Naruto's heart drops. he sees Kiba and Shino fighting as well, but soon, they too fall on the ground, covered in needles. Hinata must be with the two sensei.Naruto runs into the dome and picks up Satsuki."Satsuki.. Yakumo.. Kiba.. Shino..." he mumbles as Haku walks up behind him"they died fighting to protect each other, as true Shinobi. they will be remembered as those w-" Haku is cut off when Naruto's hair starts to turn white"shut up.." he mumbles as tears fall from his eyesHaku gets startled as he turns to her, tears streaming down his face. he glares at her and makes a clenching motion with his outstretched hand. suddenly, all of Haku's mirrors seem to implode into themselves.Kanjomaru snaps his fingers and Haku falls down to her knees, seemingly being crushed by gravity"w-wait! th-they're still alive, i did to them what i did for Zabuza-sama!" she yells as her mask crumbles from the gravitational pressure. Kanjomaru walks up to her and stares into her eyes, reading her soul."...you speak the truth." he says, still crying silently as he releases the gravitational pressure." 'cough cough', t-thank you.." she thanks as she gets to her feet and starts removing the senbon.Kanjomaru looks over to the other side of the bridge, Zabuza was about to chop Kurenai's head off, before she substitutes with a log. Zabuza looks down at the log"praise be to the almighty log." he says, and both sensei let out a small 'amen'.the small amount of time this pause gives is enough for two things to happen. first of all, Haku finishes removing the senbon, and two, everyone hears clapping coming from the end of the bridge along side the tapping of a cane."oh, well done, you absolute incompetent idiot!" Gato says as he comes into view "i thought you were supposed to be a demon!? but you cant even kill a few tree huggers and an old man?! i guess you're less of a demon and more of an imp!" Gato mocks"Gato, what's the meaning of this!?" Zabuza demands"what the hell does it look like!? you ninja have weakened each other! now, with you all worn out, i can just wipe you all out with, oh, i dont know, an army of mercenaries!!" as he says that last part, hundreds of thugs emerge from the mist, each brandishing some sort of weapon"what the hell Gato!?" Zebuza screams"you missing nin, you get the job done, sure, but you're damn expensive! its much more profitable to kill you after the job's done and collect the bounty on your heads!" as Gato explains this, Haku curses for not believing Naruto at the time.she looks over at Kanjomaru to see him stumble a bit, before his hair partially goes back to red and his eyes mostly return to normal, only they have blue streaks in them now. Naruto's back in control"i see.. so that's what blue does.." Naruto says as he walks up to the sensei and Zabuza."Naruto, get back! this is out of your lea-" Kurenai is cut off by Gato telling his men to charge, but leave the ladies alive, he'd play around with them a little bit later. this got Kurenai so mad that she didn't even notice Naruto raising his right arm as the army approached"Space manipulation, gravity technique: Fall." the blue in Naruto's eyes were shining with poweras Naruto says that, all the thugs get pushed to the ground by an invisible force. some of the weaker thugs outright died from that alone.Kurenai was shocked. sure, this was the rookie of the year, but that jutsu had to be at least A rank, maybe even S rank."N-Naruto, how did you.." Kurenai starts"honestly? i have no idea how it works. all i know is that i can now manipulate space in a matter of speaking. Fugaku sensei, the other day, when we first arrived at Tazuna's house, i didn't tell you the whole truth. ill explain later, but first, lets kick some Thug ass." Naruto explains, unsealing his blade of Murasama."alright, but you'd better have a good explanation!" Fugaku says, brandishing a black tanto.Zabuza lifts his Kubikiribocho over his shoulder "you're a lot tougher then last time. what's with the new eyes?" Zabuza asks"ill explain later" Naruto says before releasing his Space manipulation, gravity technique: Fall, allowing most of the Thugs to get up. the ones who didn't are either dead or crippled.Zabuza waists no time, hacking and slashing at any thug he passes as he rushes through them.Fugaku imbues his tanto with fire nature chakra and using it to cut down any thug he passesKurenai puts as many thugs as she can into GenjutsuNaruto prepares a strange stance."rising dragon. hidden technique: judgment." as soon as he utters that last word, Naruto disappears and hundreds of red glowing lines appear in the air, before they all make a singular slash. Naruto appears in his place, having killed at least 100 thugs with that single attack.Naruto suddenly feels very sick, like he just got every sickness he's ever experienced all at once. he starts falling (not before sealing his sword) and Haku catches him"those must have been your first kills, huh..?" she muses aloud, holding Naruto. she looks to see that all of the thugs are dead, even the ones who were crippled form Naruto's first attack.{time skip, one week}it had been one week since Gato's defeat. in that time, Fugaku and Zabuza went to raid Gato's mansion, they ended up with more money then even the third Hokage had. they split it up among the villagers of wave country and Zabuza. of course, team 11 and 8 also took enough money for 2 A rank missions and distributed it among the 2 sensei and 6 Gennin.Gato was publicly executed for his crimes, and Tazuna's family took over Gato industries and renamed it to wave industries, i know, not to imaginative, is it?Naruto didn't wake up till the third day, after that he explained in great detail to his teammates and the two sensei his situation. he didn't tell the Gennin of team 8 for various reasons, mostly that he didn't trust that Kiba could keep his mouth shut. Hinata and Shino were fine, But Kiba would easily get the info from Hinata. Shino.. well, he would be the only one to think logically about the situation and know that he wouldn't be able to tell anyone, Naruto didn't want to put that kind of burden on the poor kidto say Kurenai, Fugaku, Satsuki and Yakumo were shocked would be the understatement of the year. Naruto had some kind of alter ego called Kanjomaru who was super op, and they were merging together. as Naruto explained it, Kanjomaru was Naruto but with emotions. Naruto would never fully be as emotional as Kanjomaru, but he would have emotions none the less. along side some super overpowered abilities. heck, Naruto was already super overpowered with just blue, but with the other five emotions he would be practically invincible! not to mention that when all 6 colors were unlocked, they would all be amplified.{disclaimer, i don't own the idea of the infinity stones or their abilities. that's marvel's shit, not mine. but im using them in this fic anyways!}is that what Naruto's abilities are? variations of the abilities of the infinity stones??{yeah. i thought the readers would have figured that out by now.}anyways, it was the last day on the mission as the bridge had been completely built. Naruto had finished packing everything into a scroll, and he was now walking downstairs. his hair had turned even more white, but remained mostly red."Naruto, its time to go, you all packed up?" Yakumo asks from the door"yeah, lets head out."a few minutes later, the two teams (plus Zabuza and Haku) were walking out of wave country using the newly built bridge.as the villagers were waving them goodbye, Tazuna realized something"hey, i just realized this bridge still doesn't have a name.. what do you think about the great Tazuna bridge?" he shouts, gaining boo's and jeers from the civilians "hey! i thought it sounded pretty good! fine, how does the great Naruto bridge sound?" he shouts, gaining some shouts of approval"no, that's too obvious! Naruto means Maelstrom.. so lets name it the Great Maelstrom bridge!" Inari shouts, gaining roaring approval from everyone there.{that evening}teams 8 and 11 had just arrived at the gates of Konoha and checked in with the gate guards. the guards, understandable, were shaken up by the presence of an A-rank nuke nin, but eventually let them through.they were now roof hopping to get to the Hokage tower to give lord fourth their rapport.{once again, a good dozen minutes later}"...and thats why A-rank missing nin, Zabuza Momochi and his Ronin apprentice are here, they wish to join the village and gain sanction from Kiri." Fugaku explains to Minato. he and Kurenai had... 'forgotten' to mention anything about Naruto's new found abilities, as per his request. he said he was going to reveal his abilities at the upcoming Chunin exams, and Fugaku decided to trust him."i see. but what can you two offer this village? im not just going to accept a missing nin and a Ronin if they cant offer anything valuable." Minato asks, clasping his hands in front of his face"i know a variety of Suiton Jutsu, and im a master in the art of silent killing. not to mention im not to shabby when it comes to T and I. also im, A-rank, so.." Zabuza starts"my name is Haku Momochi, but my original last name was Yuki. i am the last member of the Yuki clan, and the last Hyoton user." now that, that caught Minato's attention. a new clan and bloodline were far to valuable to be let go, and since she seemed attached to Zabuza, he would have to keep him around also."hmm.. alright, you'll be allowed to join the village, but you'll be on probation until... the end of the up coming chunin exams. then you'll take an exam to see where each of you stand as Leaf Shinobi. dismissed." he finishes and Naruto immediately teleports away using his new blue power, leaving behind a slash of lightning that made it look like a Shunshin to anyone who didn't know what it was. Umiko and Miiya probably missed him, and though he didn't exactly consider his parents family, his sisters were innocent in his neglect. he would try to be there for them."hmm, not much has really changed." Naruto muses, placing his scroll containing his, well, everything. there's a new lightbulb, thats pretty much it."Aniki!?" he hears from behind him. he recognized that voice,"Umiko." he says simply, turning to look at her. she gasps at his new appearance"A-Aniki, your eyes! they're so.." she pauses, looking mesmerized "beautiful...""thanks, ill accept the compliment." Naruto softly smiles, making Umiko gasp in even more shock"Aniki! you're smiling!" she shouts, attracting Miiya from the other room "I've never seen you smile before!""Aniki!? hey, he is smiling!" Miiya pops her head in from the doorway. they both look on in wonder at Naruto's smile, before they notice themselves staring and blush, turning away "i... im glad you're back, and okay, Aniki.." Miiya says shyly, touching her index fingers together"well, you were right to worry. it turns out, an A-rank missing nin was involved in the mission, he was trying to take out our client." Naruto starts, but seeing his sisters about to shout, he raises his hand "its fine. you notice how i smiled before? well, my emotions got a bit unclogged during the fight. i can slightly feel emotions linked to joy and sadness." Naruto explains, getting small smiles from his sisters at the news.they didn't know Naruto's emotions were 'clogged', whatever that meant, but it made sense why they never saw him smile. in any case they were happy for their Onii-san, they were happy he-their train of thought was cut off as Naruto embraces them in a hug, small beads of tears rolling from his eyes as his soft smile remains. this leaves them both blushing and speechless "im sorry i was so cold with you two, you always tried to be there for me, but i just couldn't realize me. please forgive me, Imooto-tachi.." he mumbles, causing the two blonds to tear up.as both Kushina and Minato were out of the house that night, the whole night was spent by the Uzumaki-Namikaze children catching up for lost time."Zeus Mantic, whoever you are, thank you." ey, no problem Naruto, i was bored. hol on, i gotta check on that other Naruto from the purple fox universe, mind ending this chapter here?{sure.}{chapter 6-end}

the Kyuubi no kitsune was sleeping in her cage. she was angery, to say the least. she was split into three, and she didn't even get to keep any of her chakra! sure, she's been regenerating it slowly, but thats about it. she had finally regenerated the last of her missing Youkai last year, but since then she's had nothing to do but be mad and bored. until now."heeey! hey, wake up! hey, wake up ya big fox!" she groggily opened her eyes to see what appeared to be her container, but with snow white hair and prismatic eyes
"so, my jailor finally visits me.."
"err! wrong! im what was supposed to be Naruto's darkness, but because he bottled up all his emotions, im the manifestation of those, instead of his darkness." Kanjomaru explains"hmph. then what do you want? i was napping." she huffs, tails waving lazily"i want you to help me unlock Naruto's fear. it should be as easy as jump scaring him. as soon as he appears, i want you to appear out of the shadows and try to chomp him! dont actually do it though, that would kill all of us in the process." Kanjomaru says, waving his arms around "but to do that, i just gotta.." he walks up to the cage and cleanly rips off the seal. the cage bursts open and the kyuubi gingerly takes its first steps outside"...why?" she starts "i could escape at any moment, killing both you and the kit.""yeah, you could, but you wont. i trust you, and im most likely the best judge of character in existence!" Kanjomaru laughs, making the kyuubi sputter and blush "anyways, he's sleeping right now, so it should be real easy to get him in here. if you do this for me, ill change this damp sewer into something a little more comfortable.""..f-fine.." the kyuubi slinked back into the shadows and Kanjomaru fazed out. in that moment, Naruto popped into his mind scape.he was pretty confused for a moment, until a giant, toothy maw came out of the shadows, ready to chomp down. for the first time in a very long time, Naruto was afraid. his eyes got a green sheen to them, and he couldn't move, he was frozen in fear. but he broke out of his stuper in a burst of bravery, orange shinning in his eyes. just as he was about to dash back, the maw retracted"w-what the hell..?" Naruto was really confused as he heard laughter, the giant fox disappearing in a huge plume of red smoke"oh, that was hilarious!" a (in Naruto's humble opinion) beautiful woman came out of the smoke. she had long, crimson hair, a crimson kimono adorned with an orange sash and fox patterns. behind her, nine long crimson fox tails with white tips flowed around lazily. she had two crimson fox ears with white tips and white fluff. she had crimson slitted eyes with blackmarks around them, moving up to where her fox ears are in black lines. even though her lips bore no makeup, they looked just as glossy as ones that did bare makeup. she had a rather modest body, with E cup breasts and an equally plump butt.Naruto finally realized who she was "the Kyuubi no kitsune?" he asked"clever boy, aren't you? not like there's many other redeeming qualities about you, so i guess you should take pride in your meager intelligence if nothing else." she sneered, pointing her nose up to try and look down at Naruto, even though he was much taller then her. yeah, i forgot to mention that she's pretty short.Naruto chuckled "well, we'll probably be together for a while, so i think it would be inconvenient to call you by your title." at the Kyuubi's questioning gaze, he decided to elaborate "people dont call you 'Kyuubi no kitsune', they call you 'the Kyuubi no kitsune', meaning that its nothing more then a title. you have a name, right? im Naruto Uzumaki."the Kyuubi blushed madly at that. no one, and i mean no one, has ever asked her for her name {i don't remember if i gave her a name previously, so if i did im retconning it}"...its Kyurako." she let up the intense spiritual pressure that laced her voice previously, not just because she was so surprised and flustered at Naruto's question, but also because it makes it easier for the author to write. "im n-not telling you my name because i trust you, or anything, it's just so we can talk easier! baka.." she said that last bit under her breath, but Naruto still heard it"alright, Kyurako-chan. what was with that little prank earlier?" Naruto asks, adding the 'chan' suffix in order to fluster the vixen. it worked."t-that was your emotion's idea! he came in here and undid the seal and told me to scare you..." she was still blushing profusely and avoiding eye contact with Naruto, crossing her arms over her breasts "in exchange, he said he would fix this sewer."Naruto got a pensive look and cupped his chin "but, he cant do that. he cant use the yellow, or mine, aspect of his powers unless he's using my body in the physical world, at least not anymore." then Naruto noticed the cage, it was reforming. it seems that removing the paper tag didn't permanently get rid of the cage, as evidence when the paper tag reformed "now that wont do." the yellow in Naruto's eyes shined and he snapped his fingers. instantly, without any transition, no blur, no flash, no nothing, the mindscape changed. it now looked like the mystic forest on thousand spike mountain. there was a nice little cottage and a few foxes wondering about. if one would look closely, the leaves on the trees had the seal on them, meaning that they were a stand in for the cage. on Kyurako's neck was a leather collar with the same seal on it inside a gem."W-what the hell is this thing!?" she shouted, tugging at the collar and madly blushing. she actually liked it, but she couldn't let Naruto know that"the seal has to be somewhere, or else the cage will manifest again. there has to be something to represent the seal, and something to represent the cage. the leaves represent the seal, and that collar represents the cage. its as comfortable as i could make it on the fly like that." Naruto chuckles, and points to the house "thats so you have a place to sleep and cook and stuff. the fridge should replenish with food every time you close it, and the electricity shouldn't ever run out. since you'll be stuck in me for a while, i want you to be as comfortable as possible."Kyurako once again blushed profusely. she wasn't used to being pampered like this. as much as she wanted to hate this boy, loath him for keeping her prisoner, she couldn't find it in herself to do so. she couldn't hate Naruto. she couldn't even dislike him. but could she let him know that? hell no! that would be akin to confessing love! hey, Author? {yeah?} she's acting.. oddly obsessive, even for a tsundare. are you... {yeah, I'm thinking of making a harem, if only a small one. btw, most powerful being like the 9 Biju and deity's are female.} damn bro, why? {girls are... more interesting then boys. even if im terrified of them.} real, girls are scary."it looks like the sun is rising in the real world, i must have unlocked green earlier. ill see you later, Kyurako-chan!" Naruto disappeared. just disappeared. no blur, no flash, no plume of smoke, no nothing. its like he was never there. you're gonna notice a trend, whenever its not stated otherwise, 'disappear' usually refers to just being there one moment, and not being there the next.

{in the physical world}

Naruto opened his eyes and felt weights on his body. he looked down and saw his sisters sleeping, strewn vertically across his body. he smiled softly, created a stardust bunshin and swapped places with it. stardust release, it was something he unlocked along side blue. it allowed him to manipulate stardust, little blue particles that acted slightly like sand, but far more dense. a shield made of stardust would be able to withstand 24 Biju bombs from the Juubi, not that the existence of that entity was known to the majority of the population barring Akatsuki.it was a day off for team 13, so Naruto decided to go do... something. he hasn't really decided yet, maybe test out his new powers? he took a walk down the hallway down to the bathroom, where he looked at his reflection. what he saw was strange. his eyes had not only gotten green sheens, but also orange."orange was bravery, right?" he mused. apparently, orange was related to the soul, maybe that meant some sort of regenerative ability?what he did know was green was time. he focused on that, and the air around him seemed to grow stale. he looked outside, and he saw a bird frozen in mid flap. he let up the ability, and everything went back to normal, no sort of stagger or confusion. so other living things wouldn't process any time during static sun. yeah, he would call this ability static sun. why? because the sun is an indicator of time, and when he uses his ability, its movement is static.he walked around in static sun. everything felt... stale, like nothing felt normal. time wasn't supposed to be still like this, stagnation was unnatural for it. Naruto decided that he wouldn't use this unless he was in a battle, because it was... a little too overpowered. also, if he used time stop abilities publicly, he would be labeled a pervert! when he eventually told his 'father' about his powers, he would definitely have to leave time manipulation out.and maybe red, when he eventually unlocked it. red, as Kanjomaru explained it, was authority over reality. that, that was a little too much. well, it was explained that way, but Naruto thought it was just illusions and stuff. he's in for a whirl, isn't he? {lil bro doesn't realize that red is way more op then that} please never say 'lil bro' ever again.Naruto stopped his stroll on top of the Hokage mountain and let up static sun. the grey sky turned blue once more and time resumed its naturel course.the people continued their walks, the birds continued their flight. and the air, it felt normal again. Naruto took a good look at the village. it was peaceful."ill protect this peace. no matter what."

{a few months later}

Naruto had improved drastically with his new abilities. he incorporated his space manipulation into his rising dragon styles, increasing his speed drastically. the rest of his team hadn't fallen behind either, Satsuki had unlocked her three tomoe Sharingan, much to her family's pride and her little brother's ire. with it, she was able to stand toe to toe with Naruto while he had his weights on and wasn't using chakra to enhance himself. thats a big feat!Yakumo had discovered that she was able to make Genjutsu with mental paintings, meaning she could cast them almost instantly. and with Naruto's help in weight training, she was about as physically strong as Inuzuka Kiba when he graduated from the academy. she was definitely Chunin material, so was Satsuki and so was Naruto. Fugaku couldn't ignore that."alright, team 13! i've called you all to this bridge because im going to nominate you all to the Chunin exams! but first of all, i need your consent. i believe you all are ready, but you need to think that too." Fugaku informs, passing out slips of paper to each member of the team"Chunin.. if i reach Chunin, ill get more independence and more access to higher levels of training. ill be there for sure." Naruto says, a small smile marring his face. he hadn't unlocked any other emotions since that day with Kyurako, but his hair had continued to turn more and more snow white. it was still mostly red, but it was about 60/40."i'll get stronger, not just so i can make my family proud, but also.." Satsuki starts, but blushes at the end, glancing discretely at Naruto. Fugaku smirks at that"i wanna get stronger so i can get Naruto-kun to like me!" Yakumo exclaims, making everyone face-fault. Yakumo had definitely changed a heck of a lot, and was very open with her affection towards Naruto. Fugaku smirks even more at her next words "and i dont mind sharing!" which also made Satsuki blush madly, although Naruto didn't quite understand what she meant by 'sharing'."haha! alright then, i assume you'll all be there?" Fugaku asks and gets a trio of smirks, giving him all the answer he needed. "well, i've got a meeting, so ill see you all later!" Fugaku gave a thumbs up and disappeared in a flash of fire.

"alright, now that you're all here.." Minato starts, glaring at Kakashi who was sheepishly rubbing the back of his head "so, who here wishes to nominate their Gennin for the Chunin exams?"first was Maito Gai. he had a bowl cut, a green spandex suit and the bushiest eyebrows ever "i, Maito Gai, nominate Rock Lee, Tenten Higurashi and Neij Hyuga for the chunin exams!" he shouts, giving his nice guy poseafter Gai was a woman with red eyes, long black hair and clothes that appeared to litterally just be a bunch of bandages "i, Kurenai Yuhi, nominate Hinata Hyuga, Shino Aburame and Kiba Inuzuka for the Chunin exams." she says, much more calmly then her green spandex clad colleaguenext was a man with spiky brown hair and a cigarette in his mouth, unlit of course "i, Asuma Sarutobi, nominate Choji Akimichi, Shikamaru Nara and Ino Yamanaka for the Chunin Exams." he says, lighting his cigarette before Kurenai swipes it away and puts it out. he simply brings out a new onethen came Kakashi's turn "i, Kakashi Hatake, nominate Sakura Haruno, Sai Shimura and Sasuke Uchiha for the Chunin exams." he drawls lazily before continuing to read his book, giggling perverselylastly came Fugaku, smirking "I, Fugaku Uchiha, nominate Naruto Uzumaki (Naruto had re-taken his mothers madden name), Satsuki Uchiha and Yakumo Kurama for the Chunin exams."Minato was surprised "all the rookies? i get Gai, he's had his Gennin for a year, but what are your excuses?" Minato looks pointedly at Kurenai and Asuma first"i think i speak for both me and Kurenai when i say that we want our Gennin to have this valuable experience. i don't think they will win, but hopefully this will drive them to get stronger." Asuma explains, then Minato looks to Kakashi"i have more or less the same reasons. my team is.. dysfunctional. i hope this will drive them to work together. but i also believe that Sasuke has a chance of promotion." Kakashi explains. finally, Minato looks to Fugaku"my team.. they'll win." he said that with such overwhelming confidence that it shocked even Kakashi "they'll all make it to the final round. and Naruto, he'll win the whole thing. i think they'll all be promoted.""you sure seem confident in your team, especially Naruto." Kurenai says, suspicious. Naruto may have been the rookie of the year, but so was Neji, and he had a year of experience."i believe that Naruto wanted to say this himself, but i cant help but want to brag a little. he's unlocked a Kekkei Genkai. an extremely powerful one, at that." he starts, getting gasps. he put his hand up when he saw Minato about to ask what it is "don't ask, you'll see in the Chunin exams. i will let you in on this though, Minato. Naruto is strong." those words shook Minato to his very core. he had grown up with Fugaku, and he knew more then anyone that Fugaku used the word 'Strong' very rarely, for example: he hadn't ever called Kakashi strong, even though he had the Sharingan.its not an adjective Fugaku gave people lightly. so to hear that Minato's son, Naruto, was called strong by Fugaku, it really struck a cord in Minato. he let out a small smile of pride, before getting a headache, completely forgetting about Naruto.

{a few days later}

Naruto was walking around Konoha, when he saw the Konohamaru corps run by him. Naruto had met up with Konohamaru shortly after the wave mission. the kid was hiding from his closet pervert sensei, Ebisu, when Naruto found him. they quickly got along, and Naruto taught him and his friends, Udon and Moegi, a few basic ninja tricks. he was the grandson of the Sandaime Hokage, and everyone just treated him like that. when Konohamaru found out that Naruto was the direct son of the Yondaime Hokage, but people just treated him like Naruto, he instantly wanted to find out his secret, and be just like him. from that day onwards, the Konohamaru corps, formed from Konohamaru and his two friends, refered to him as boss. if Naruto ever became a Jounin sensei, these were definitely the team he would take."Boss! run, its an angry banshee!" Konohamaru shouted. shortly after, Sakura Haruno came running after him, calling him a little brat. Naruto followed them after he heard Konohamaru shout in pain."ya little brat! ill teach you to watch where you're going!" Naruto recognized that voice, and his suspicions were confirmed when he saw the black cat suit and purple makeup. Sabaku no Kankuro."just let him go, Kankuro. we dont want to get in trouble with 'her'." Sabaku no Temari said from behind him. she had grown much since the last time Naruto saw her, and she now sported an iron battle fan. scratch that, there was way too much Chakra in that fan, it was made of Ivory steel, a rare, refined Chakra metal of Kaze no kuni."relax she's not here right now. i just need to teach this brat a lesson!" the rest of the Konohamaru corps were shivering behind Sakura in fear. well, she wasn't much better off, so it wasn't a good place to hide. Kankuro reared back his fist, until Naruto suddenly appeared next to him, holding his arm"Kankuro, Temari. its been a while." he gave a small smile"N-Naruto.." Kankuro and Temari say at the same time. they were both frightened by Naruto, as he was the only one that could get along with their sister"you realize that this is the grand son of the late Sandaime Hokage, right?" Naruto deadpans, and Kankuro lets go of Konohamaru with a yelp "you can come out, Gaara-chan." he looked knowingly to a tree. first, Sasuke Uchiha comes out, confused. but then Sabaku no Gaara makes her presence known on the tree, startling the sand siblings"Kankuro.. you're a disgrace." she says with no shortage of killing intent directed towards the poor boy. then she turns her attention to Naruto "Naruto-kun. marry me." she demands, leaning in to plant a kiss on Naruto's lips. Naruto shifts slightly so it lands on his cheek instead, making Gaara pout"didn't we agree to do that like, eight years ago?" Naruto deadpans "we'll do that when we become Chunin." he continues. everyone is, at this point, completely shocked "still not sure what 'marry' means though." that made everyone let out a sight, yes, even Sasuke. Naruto didn't understand love. he couldn't, not yet at least."no, Chunin is too early, especially since we'll both make it this year. Jounin. when we face off in the Chunin exams, you'll let me take your first kiss." at Gaara's demands, Naruto nodded. he didn't really know what kiss meant, but Gaara asked him all the time to do it. "then we can become official couples." at this point, the sand siblings were very much confused. this was a side of their sister they had never seen before, she was looking so determined, and she was blushing for gods sake!"h-hey, Gaara, we need to go discuss with Baki-sensei for the you-know-wha-" Kankuro starts, but Gaara glares at him"forget that. if you interrupt our face off in the Chunin exams, ill kill you all." hey, would you look at that? looks like we wont have to worry about Gaara assisting in the invasion. she continued glaring until Naruto tapped her shoulder"hey Gaara-chan. could you not kill anyone during the Chunin exams? at least no one from Konoha." Gaara quickly nodded, then Naruto got a look like he remembered something "hey Gaara-chan, you know that marriage thing you always talk about? well, i read something recently, people who unlock new Kekkei Genkai's or are the last of a clan are put into something called the C.R.A, where they have to marry multiple people. and i recently, like a few months ago, developed a new Kekkei Genkai. thats why i have the new look. and also why i can express my emotions more openly." Naruto explains, Making Gaara's eyes go wide, then a blush creeps across her face, along side a look in her eyes.a perverted look. welp, looks like the idea of being in a harem appeals to this girl."thats good, Naruto-kun. as long as i am the main one, i don't mind sharing. not one bit."the sand siblings were passed out at this point. they couldn't understand anything that was happening. Gaara leaned into Naruto's ear and whispered something, Naruto's eyes going wide for but a moment, before he smiles"alright, ill finally be able to take care of that spider." oohh! is it Hiruko? {hell yeah} he's the replacement for Orochimaru in most of the authors fics, since he likes it when Orochimaru is a good guy."you have some sort of bone to pick with him?" Gaara asks, tilting her head cutely."you could say that. he betrayed my godfather, Orochimaru and his student, Anko Mitarashi. they were.. some of the only people who were nice to me back then." Naruto let out a more soft smile, remembering the good ol' times from back then." 'sigh', i have to leave now, Naruto-kun. ill see you at the Chunin exams." she blows a kiss at Naruto before picking up her siblings, slinging them over her shoulders and walking off.Sai Shimura appears behind Naruto "is she your girlfriend, Naruto?" Sai was infamous for giving people stupid nicknames, but he never gave Naruto one. apparently, he could never get a read on him."she says she is, but im not sure i understand what girlfriend means." Naruto shrugs, before walking off. the Chunin exams started tomorrow, he had to prepare.{the next day, academy building}"the Gennin of team 13 were standing outside of the academy."this is it girls. no going back now." Naruto says, looking up at the building"dummy, we know that. why do you think we're here?" Satsuki shouts, bopping Naruto on the head, inflicting exactly zero damage"lets go!" Yakumo yells and starts pushing Naruto towards the door.inside, they are directed to room 301. the academy is much larger then anyone realizes, each floor has approximately 100 rooms, and there are around 5 floors. the reason the academy can be so big on the inside but so small on the outside is all thanks to the space time compression/expansion Fuinjutsu that lady Mito Senju/Uzumaki erected all around it.the team walked up two flights of stairs, and arrived at 'room 301', where they saw a team of Gennin being harassed by two older Gennin. it was team Gai. the entirety of team 13 realized that this was a trick to weed out the weak, and walked right past the illusion and up another flight of stairs. they found themselves in some sort of arena like room, presumably used for spars in the academy. the team walked right past it and arrived at the real room 301, where their sensei was waiting"good, you're all here. if even one of you chickened out, none of you would have been permitted to continue because the first to exams are team exercises." Fugaku explains and motions to the door "good luck, ill see you at the tower. dont worry, you'll understand what that means later.""yes, Sensei!" all three of them say in unison, then bow before walking into the classroom. Fugaku can only look on in pride at his students, before he shunshins out, moving quickly to make it to the tower at the center of the forest of death where the other Sensei are going to be watching the Chunin exams with a crystal ball.as soon as team 13 enters, they are blasted with killing intent from every Gennin/Chunin hopeful. having been subjected to Zabuza Momochi's killing intent and that of their sensei, they are completely unaffected. they quietly make it to the corner of the room and wait. its not long before they hear a commotion.at the door is the other Rookies, chatting away like they have this in the bag. then, a white haired kid with glasses that suspiciously smells like spiders approaches them and tells them to quiet down. he gives them some info from cards, none of it concerning Naruto as he didn't have anything on him or his team. then the kid insults the village hidden in the sound, calling it a weak, newly formed village. obviously butthurt, three sound Gennin attack them with some sort of sound based Ninjutsu. the white haired kid dodges, but his glasses crack and he vomit's.then there's a huge plume of smoke, and a handful of Chunin and two Jounin appear. Ibiki Morino and Zabuza Momochi, the twin heads of the T&I division."alright, brats! calm the fuck down and take your seats. its time for the first exam!" Ibiki starts as every Gennin moves to take seats assigned to them"me and Ibiki will be proctoring this round. it'll be a written test! lets lay down some ground rules!" Zabuza continues, glaring at the sound Gennin for the commotion they caused earlier"first! this test will be based on a point reduction system! you all start with 10 points. for every question you get wrong, one point will be deducted. if you get caught cheating, thats three points deducted!" Ibiki explains, still leaking killing intent"get caught cheating three times and you and your team are out! if your team doesn't collectively have over 24 points by the end of this, you're whole team is out as well!" Zabuza continues, leaking just as much killing intent"finally, there will be extra rules for the tenth question. said question will be given after the one hour mark! any questions? too bad! start!" Ibiki finishes, clapping his hands together loudly.just as he does, Naruto accesses yellow, his mental IQ CPU increasing to about 360k. he turns over his paper and gives it a once over, at least, thats what it looks like.in reality, he spends about 1 mental hour examining and breaking down each question. thats 1 mental hour each, by the way. he concludes that the questions, while easy to him, are far too hard for a high Gennin or low Chunin to get. he then spends a good 10 mental minutes examining the words of the proctors. its clear, this is a recreation of an information gathering mission. they are supposed to cheat, but not get caught. he let his perception go back to normal and realizes that the person in front of him not only has very high chakra and chakra control, but is also finished writing down the answers. he was obviously a Chunin that they were meant to cheat off of.so what does Naruto do? he stops time of course! while it is way too overpowered, it was also very convenient. after copying down the Chunin's answers onto his paper, he goes over to his sisters, who were being taught were alone under Kushina. he wrote down the answers on their papers, alongside a note.then, for the rest of the test, he napped. at one point, Ino Yamanaka tried entering his mind, but his mental defenses proved too much for her to pierce, much to her displeasure."stop! pencils down. its time for the tenth question!" Zabuza shouts. everyone lets their pencils down and their attention is turned to the two proctors"alright, the rules for the tenth question are as follows; if you decide to back out, your entire team is disqualified." Ibiki starts, but Kiba cuts him off"why the hell would we want to quit then?!" the dog boy yells"dont fucking cut me off, brat! i was getting there. if you fail the tenth question, you and your entire team will be bared from taking the Chunin exams, permanently!" Ibiki explains, getting gasps. one kid denies the possibility, stating that there were Gennin here that had done the Chunin exams before."well too bad, we're the proctors this year! we make the god damn rules! our word is law!" Zabuza laughs "now, if you wish to back out, raise your hand!"a good dozen people raise their hands and back out over the course of a full minute. then, when Naruto notices Miiya about to raise her hand, he does so before her. then he slams his hand down onto his desk"you really think im gonna fall for that bullshit? not only would you require the permission of the Kage from all participating villages, baring someone from advancement can only be detrimental for the village in the long run, it would stop a good portion of Gennin from advancing and reinforcing the villages military might. im not falling for your crap." Naruto yells, and his words seemed to have given courage to the other remaining Gennin, since no one was raising their hands anymore.Ibiki and Zabuza exchanged glances before asking in unison "is everyone here sure they want to face the last question? you can still back out." when no one raises their hands, the Jounin get grins and simultaneously yell "very well! to all who remain, you pass!"they then explained the true meaning behind the test and the tenth question. but they were cut off as a ball shoots through the window and explodes into a plume of smoke. out from the smoke comes a banner and a woman, the banner reads 'the sexy and single Anko Mitarashi; proctor of the second exam'Naruto holds up a board saying '9/10'"oh, come on! what could i have done better?" Anko pouts"lightning and fire." Naruto explains, and Anko gets a mischievous grin"Anko, you're early. again." Ibiki deadpans"damn, have you lost your touch Ibiki?! there's about 34 teams left! even with Zabuza's help, i would have expected better of the great Ibiki Morino!" she laughs hardily, before taking on a condescending tone "maybe its time you retire~""har har. just say what you need to and get out, im tired." Ibiki rubs his nose"alright, alright.." Anko relents "okay Maggots! follow me to training ground 44, its time for the seconnd portion of the Chunin Exams! if you're late, you'll be disqualified! because i don't have any patience for tardiness! lets go!" Anko shouts and jumps out the window.Naruto's sisters walk up to him "hey, Naruto-ni. thanks for earlier, i dont know how you did it but we're grateful." Miiya bows, and Umiko follows suite"dont mention it, family looks out for each other. that being said, i wont help you from now on in the exam." Naruto ruffles their hair "still, good luck." he gives them a small smile before leaving with his teammates.

Naruto and the rest of team 13 had just arrived at training ground 44. Anko gave a little leeway, because not every Ninja was speed based like her. so they had to wait for a few minutes until everyone got there. after what feels like an eternity to Naruto who had gotten there as fast as Anko, everyone finally arrives."alright maggots, welcome to training ground 44! locally known as the forest of death!" Anko shouts, using her chakra to enhance her voice so everyone hears her"this place isn't that scary, why do they call it the forest of death?" Naruto remarks, having been to this particular forest often. yeah, this is the forest he would walk around when he was a toddler. a freaking toddler! so of course he wasn't afraid of this place, not one bit. but to Anko, this was just an overconfident brat, and one that needed to be made into an example.a Kunai flew at Naruto and cut his cheek, or at least thats what it looked like. in reality, as soon as the blade was done passing through his skin, it had reclosed before even a drop of blood could leak."its always the arrogant twerps like you that die first~" Anko whispers, and tries to lick the blood off of his cheek but.. "hey, why isn't there any blood?" she whines"i think you missed." Naruto deadpans "the kunai doesn't have any blood on it either. my conclusion? you missed.""but.. that cant be.." Anko whips around and points a kunai to the eye of a kusa Gennin "might wanna tone down the blood lust, buddy.. or else you might get hurt.""excuse me, i just got excited at seeing that boy heal instantly. you didn't miss, he just healed faster then the kunai cut him." she chuckles, handing Anko her Kunai "this belongs to you, miss.""huh, i didn't know i could do that. neat." Naruto comments "anyways, lets get this test going, shall we? im getting bored of standing here." as he says this, Anko blushes slightly in embarrassment, but moves to a sort of tent. there are a few other tents with Chunin at the entrances."alright, lets explain this test! each team will be given a scroll." she holds up two scrolls. one is white and marked with the kanji for 'heaven', the other is black and marked with the kanji for 'earth'. "your job is to make it to the center of the tower with both a heaven scroll and an earth scroll. keep in mind that opening either scroll before entering the tower is strictly forbidden. if you do.. well, lets just say bad things will happen." she puts the scrolls away "to get your scroll, you will have to enter one of these here tents and sign a contract. basically, it just states that if you die or get injured, its not our fault, and we cant be held responsible!" she cheers "now, line up!"every team starts to get in line inn front of one of the tents. Naruto's team quickly gets their heaven scroll after signing the contract, then Naruto waits. he sees an Amegakure team going into one of the tents. he stops time and follows them in. when he gets in, they are frozen in the middle of getting an earth scroll, so Naruto decides to pull a little prank. he takes the earth scroll and makes a shadow clone of it. he places the cloned earth scroll where he took the original and pockets his new scroll. work smarter, not harder.then, he goes back to his original space and resumes time, allowing the Amegakure team to walk out with a fake scroll, none the wiser.a few minutes later, each team is instructed to go to one of the many gates in the fence surrounding the forest. team 13, funnily enough, finds themselves at gate 13.[all right you maggots, GO!] Anko shouts through the speakers, and every Gennin team runs into the forest in bursts of speed.

{a good dozen minutes later}

Naruto and his team were tree hopping through the forest. they had already taken down a couple random teams and were making good pace to the tower when Naruto sensed something"DUCK!" he shouts, then gets blown away by a massive gust of wind.Satsuki and Yakumo look over to see a kusagakure nin. the same one from before."you're no Gennin. you have way too much chakra..!" Satsuki says, activating her Sharingan"ahh.. a fully matured Sharingan, how marvelous!" she exclaims, laughing darkly "come, Satsuki-chan.. lets see what you can do!"

{with Naruto

"well, you're a big fella, aren't ya?" Naruto comments, looking up at a monstrously large spider.it lunges at Naruto, and he unseals his crimson blade of Mura-Sama. {once again, i do not own the terraria calamity mod or metal gear rising} what he said. Naruto channels draconic chakra into his blade, causing it to spark with crimson lightninghe uses his sword to slice the spider in half with a wide ark or electricity, only for hundreds of smaller spiders to burst from its form. he curses and begins to cut down the spiders. each one poofs into smoke after a certain amount of damage is dealt, indicating their status as summons.after about 10 minutes, he gets tired of the seemingly endless onslaught of arachnids. once an opening presents itself, he gets into an 'Iaido' or 'quick draw' stance, and starts to channel his spatial manipulation.

"hidden technique; bury the light."

Naruto disappears, and thousands of streaks of faint, blue light appear around the field. after a split second, all of the faint streaks turn into slashes, cutting up every last spider in mere moments. then, Naruto reappears, placing his sword back in its scabbard at his hip before looking to where his teammates and the strange kusa nin were, feeling an immense amount of killing intent.he dashes to their location, but arrives in time to see the kusa nin, face burnt off to reveal the visage of Hiruko of the arachnids, biting Satsuki on the neck."Satsuki!!" he rushes over to her and catches her before she can fall off the tree branch "you.. what did you do to her..?" Naruto whispers, just loud enough for everyone to hear"kukuku.. i just gave her a little gift. a gift of power. in due time, she'll seek me out of her own volition, in search of more!" the self proclaimed Spider Sannin laughs. little did he know, this was the boiling point. Naruto's hair turns fully snow white, and his eyes flash with a new red gleam"you'll regret that." Kanjomaru says simply, now in control of Naruto's body. Hiruko was about to retort, but he felt his hands go numb. he looked down to see they were turning to dust"KaI!" he tries to release the Genjutsu, but its no use. its no Genjutsu (still an illusion tho) "damn it! what did you do to me!?""dont worry, its not permanent. i dont have the power necessary to make real changes to reality yet. now scurry off like the puny spider you are. before i change my mind." for the first time in Hiruko's life, he truly felt fear. he felt as though he would die if he went against this boy's words. so he did what anyone would do, he ran.when he got far enough, his hands returned, and he felt a surge of relief wash over him. but then he felt an even stronger surge of fear. that boy, he basically said that he would one day be able to change reality. who has power like that!? whatever, he might not be able to get the Uchiha girl, but he still had another option.when he could no longer sense Hiruko's chakra, Kanjomaru turned his attention to the seal on Satsuki's neck. in moments, he broke it down completely in his mind. it used the Kekkei Genkai of the mad sannin clan (one that constantly drew nature chakra into the wielders body at the cost of making the user go slightly crazy, depending on the potency of the bloodline), a corruptive agency that would deteriorate the users chakra like a drug whenever used, and a fraction of Hiruko's soul so that he could slowly brainwash the user. all in all, it was an affront to all Fuinjutsu users. Kanjomaru quickly destroyed the seal using a nix of orange, red and yellow to split it up and eradicate it. though he couldn't completely get rid of it, all that was left was an affinity for nature chakra, meaning that she would, in the future, learn Senjutsu easier.when that was done, Naruto took back control. his hair was now 45/55 in terms of white to red ratio. he looked to Yakumo, who was knocked out from the killing intent."Yakumo-chan, wake up!" Naruto lightly tapped her cheek 20 times, then she woke up"uhh.. i feel like i just got hit with a ton of bricks.." she moans in pain"listen, Yakumo. i need you to cast a Genjutsu around us to make us invisible. Satsuki is knocked out, i cant afford to take the risk of us getting attacked." Naruto asks and Yakumo nods, climbing onto his back as he picks up Satsuki.she mutters a few words, then chakra is cast outwards into the form of a bubble around them. just like that, Naruto dashes off, using both sage mode and space manipulation to go as fast as he can.right as he's passing a few tree's, he feels a spike of chakra. he can recognise the signature, its that of an Uzumaki. not Umiko's, not Miiya's, not Kushina's. this is family he didn't know he had, so he dodges off course to go check it out.he arrives to see a red haired girl with glasses getting attacked by a massive bear. next to her is a dead kusa Gennin. Naruto can only assume that Hiruko infiltrated their team, or they are working under him. whatever the case, he's not going to leave family to die."don't touch her." he whispers, slicing the bears head off in one clean swing of a kunai"w-who are you..?" the girl looks at Naruto, especially his red hair"Family."

{a good twenty minutes later}

Karin had passed out shortly after hearing Naruto say family. the last thing she saw was her Oto forehead protector, disguised as a Kusa forehead protector, falling off. when she awoke, they had arrived at the tower, and Naruto's teammates were eying her suspiciously"lets see... 'one needs earth for heaven to be useful. and one needs heaven to use earth. one is never complete without the other, only one with balance will become great. that is the secret of X. -Hiruzen Sarutobi; Sandaime Hokage and the professor.'..." Naruto reads the stone tablet and thinks for a few moments. then he looks to his team mates "well?""earth.. it refers to one's physical power and overall chakra. the Hyuga uses earth as a basis for many things because it symbolizes strength, and they are oh so ever arrogant." Satsuki explains, and Naruto nods in agreement"heaven refers to one's intelligence and chakra control. the Nara are often referred to a clan close to heaven because of their insane average IQ." Yakumo explains, and Naruto nods to her in agreement as well. then his eyes turn to Karin"m-me?" Karin stutters. the two girls of team 13 glare at her, but she calms her nerves "this is a riddle. heaven, or intelligence, is useless without the earth, or strength, to back it up. and earth is useless without enough heaven to know how to use it. a great Shinobi is someone who is both strong and smart. the part that says 'that is the secret of X' probably means you have to roll out the scrolls in the shape of an 'x'." Karin explains, and Naruto smiles at her, pleased with the answer given"right. now, lets do this." Naruto takes out a heaven scroll and an earth scroll, and rolls them out onto the floor in the shape of an x. he immediately recognizes the telltale signs of a custom summoning seal. he motions for his team and his still confused cousin to move back."welcome! i have the pleasure to announce to you that you have arrived first!" out of a plume of smoke, Umino Iruka appears and announces "and you just made an all time record!" he opens his eyes and looks over the team that just made history by arriving in under 2 hours "its good to see you, Naruto, Satsuki, Yakumo. im proud to see you all make it this far. wait, who's this young lady?" Iruka asks, pointing to Karin"she's an Uzumaki. i found her in the forest, both of her teammates were dead. as her family, i'd like to request she becomes a citizen of Konoha. she's most likely one of the only remaining Uzumaki from outside the village." Naruto starts. Iruka nods, and makes a hand sign. in a few moments, an Anbu appears. just as he's about to Shunshin away, Naruto stops him "i'd like to mention that we were attacked by Hiruko of the arachnids. from what i've gathered, he's leading the newly founded Otogakure. please be on high alert, he was trying to obtain the Sharingan from Satsuki." as he says this, not only does Iruka and the Anbu gain more serious looks, Satsuki bristles in disgust"he gave me some sort of hickey.. i felt so violated!" her words make the two adults even more alarmed"don't worry, i was able to get rid of it before it really set in. she wont be affected by whatever seal was put on her." Naruto explains, gaining shocked looks from the two elder shinobi "before you ask, ill explain later. right now, im just tired, i used a lot of chakra getting here that fast." before anyone can react, Naruto collapses, completely drained.

{a few days later}

the remaining Gennin teams were standing in a line in some sort of arena inside the tower. at the back of the arena, there were two hands forming the tiger sign. in front of the Gennin were Anko, some weird Jounin that looked like he was super sick, and the Yondaime Hokage."you know, i honestly expected a lot less of you to make it here." Anko said offhandedly as she began to count the Gennin "two Taki teams, one Kumo team, one Suna team, one Oto team, two Ame teams, and a handful of Konoha teams! sure, i know i said i was gonna cut y'all in half, but i was expecting single digits!""ahem, Anko-chan, if i may." Minato clears his voice, and Anko bows, before backing off "congratulations for making it past the second round of the Chunin exams! now, before we continue, I'd like to give a little speech,..." Minato then proceeded to give the whole Chunin exams being a substitute for war speech, you all know what it was like. if you don't, go watch Naruto! "now, i leave the stage to Hayate Gekko, he'll explain the rest." as Minato left the stage, his eyes lingered on Naruto for a moment. whenever he tried to get close or focus on Naruto, he would get this splitting migraine. but recently, they've been less intense. it started around a day after Naruto's mission to wave, and the headaches have just gotten less and less intense since. he didn't think about it too hard, he desperately wanted to reconnect with his estranged son and if the lessoning of the migraines was going to let that happen, who was he to look a gift horse in the mouth." 'cough', as Hokage-sama said, my name is 'cough', Hayate Gekko. now, as Anko-san said, there are a lot more of you then we were anticipating. as thus, there will be a preliminary round to cut the numbers in half for the real third round, that way the important 'cough-cough!', people wont have to wait as long. but before we start, does anyone want to forfeit? giving in now wont affect your teammates." as Hayate says that last part, a few people, including Kabuto, forfeited, with varying excuses such as a lack of chakra, broken bones ore teared musclesim gonna skim through most of the matches, okay? okay.match 1; that one hand sucky guy from Kabuto's team vs Gaara. result: hand sucky guy gets a few broken bones and passes out from pain.match 2; that long stretchy arm guy from Kabuto's team vs Kankuro. result: long stretchy arm guy almost gets his neck snapped and gives upmatch 3; Sakura vs Ino. result: Sakura and Ino knock each other out patheticallymatch 4; Temari vs Tenten. result: Tenten's weapon dragon barrage bullshit wasn't very effective and she lostmatch 5; Sasuke vs Rock Lee. result: Sasuke gets stomped. again.match 6; two of the Taki Gennin knock each other out, but they gave a good fight.match 7; ... you know what? no! im skipping to the interesting fights!"alright, next up, Yugito Nii versus {insert filler Ame nin}. 'cough, cough'." Hayate calls out. Naruto looks on in interest, Kyurako had informed him that her little sister, Matatabi, better known as Nibi no Nekomata, was sealed inside this Kumo nin. he was interested in just what she could do.Yugito took on a ready stance after jumping down. the Ame nin, clearly unaware that he was outmatched, didn't even bother getting into a ready stance, simply taking out a kunai and looking condescendingly at the Jinchuriki."alright, 'cough'. Hajime!" Hayate jumps back, and the two shinobi run at each other.blue flames coat Yugito's fists as she strikes the Ame Ninja. he jumps back in pain and surprise, then flings his kunai at his opponent. Yugito dodges and starts to form handsigns. in a few moments, she brings her flaming hands up to her mouth and blows out a massive blue fire ball.the Ame Ninja can only look on in horror, before breaking out of his stuper and forming the handsigns for a Suiton jutsu. he shoots out a big water bullet, and it collides with the fire ball. even though he overcharged his jutsu, it was overpowered by the more refined blue fire ball"damn it!! she's the Nibi-Jinchuriki! Pein-sama just told us to survey the Kyuubi-Jinchiriki's, he didn't tell us there would be other ones!!" he thinks, bracing himself as best as he can. the fire ball shreds through his defenses and fries his brain, killing him."okay, Yugito Nii is the winner of this round! 'cough', medics, please take care of the, 'cough', corpse." Hayate announces as Yugito begins to walk back up to her place at the stands.while she's in mid stride, her eyes lock with Naruto's."she's/he's strong." they think at the same time... and then Yugito is assaulted with lewd imagery from her perverted Tenant, so she blushes and turns away"hey Kyurako-chan, whats that all about?" Naruto mentally asks, but Kyurako refuses to answer."he's some prime mate materiel, kitten~" Matatabi purrs in Yugito's mind"s-shut up!""alright, now that thats done, 'cough', lets move on." Hayate pulls out two pieces of paper "next match, Fu from Taki versus Karui from Kumo." as the two girls hop down, Naruto takes a good look at Fu. she has long green hair tied up in a high pony tail. her pink eyes shine with innocence and amusement. her greenish-turquoise battle kimono sways in the wind, even though there shouldn't be wind indoors. as Kyurako had informed him, this was the Jinchuriki of the Nanabi, Chomei. Naruto was wondering why there were so many Jinchuriki in these exams. there was him and his sisters, the Hachibi Jinchuriki B, his Gennin Yugito, Gaara-chan and Fu.Karui was a red head who wore their forehead protector on a white bandana. she was.. well, she was flat, to be blunt. she had a sword on her back."Hajime!" Hayate once again jumps back as the Gennin rush at each other.the fight was.. well, short, to put it lightly. Karui had a Raiton affinity, while Fu had a Fuiton affinity, meaning she had elemental advantage. her wind blades literally cut Karui's sword in half, making the girl go berserk. and you know what happens when you go berserk in the shinobi world? you lose."..winner, 'cough!', Fu of Taki. medics, come take care of Karui." Hayate announces while the medics come to take care of Karui's heavily bruised and cut but otherwise fine bodya few more matches go by, non of them interest Naruto that much.oh hey, Shikamaru won."next match, 'cough', will be Hinata Hyuga versus Neji Hyuga." Hayate announces. now, Yugito's match got his attention. Fu's match got his attention. but this match really got his attention.Hinata Hyuga.an Enigma.Hinata was a nice, upbeat girl with a can-do attitude. with the exception of when she was around her family or Naruto. when she was around Naruto, she was all shy, and she was always blushing and stuttering. but when she was around her family, she just became.. down. like she loses all her confidence around them. and he was about to find out why.as Hayate started the match, neither Hyuga moved."you should just give up, Hinata-sama." Neji starts, spitting the 'sama' suffix with venom "you can not defeat me, fate has decreed that this match shall be mine. you can never change, Hinata-sama, you'll always be that weak, shy loser. you are a disgrace to our clan, you can barely utilize the beginners stance for the Juken." Neji continues to berate Hinata for like, 4 minute, all the while she's just crying. eventually, Naruto can't take it anymore"Shut the hell up!" he shouts, getting Neji to break our of his rant to stare at him "fate this, fate that, all you're doing is ranting about fate! Kami, you're supposed to be fighting! how do you expect to make Chunin when all you do is talk!? and Hinata, you dont have anything to worry about from this guy. your chakra density, where it's directed, how it flows, all the info I've gathered tells me that you've got this match in the bag. so kick his ass!" Naruto shouts, causing Hinata to relax and get a determined spark in her eyes.Neji grunts, annoyed that his efforts to break his cousin's spirit were all for not. he gets into a basic horse stance, and so does Hinata. the tension rises as they both activate their Byakugan, then they rush at each other.Naruto looked on in interest. he saw where Neji and Hinata aimed on each other, it was the body's many Tenketsu. he hadn't really bothered to learn up on the other clans too much, so he deduced that the Hyuga Taijutsu used their eyes x-ray ability to aim at specific points in the body, like internal organs and the Tenketsu. they most likely used Chakra to damage or clog the organs. a most troublesome fighting style indeed.Hinata was dodging and weaving around Neji's attacks, but Neji was blocking all of her attacks in turn. she was holding herself well, and all of Naruto's data was correct. her chakra was being manipulated in ways much superior to Neji's. but her Taijutsu was lacking, her body was actively fighting against it. and that, that is what Neji exploited.he exploited the short ways her body hesitated in her movements. little by little, all her Tenketsu were eventually closed off, leaving her panting in exertion"give up, Hinata-sama. you can no longer utilize chakra." Neji sneered down at her, but she got up despite this "just give up! you can not defeat fate!""oh yeah?" Hinata coughed up blood "then why do you constantly defy fate, Neji nii-san? even now, i have not used the caged bird seal to subjugate you when i could have from the start..""shut up...""Neji, you constantly hide behind fate, but you know what i think..?" Hinata continues"Shut up.""you're afraid, Neji!""i said shut up!!" Neji went in for a juken strike to her heart in order to shut her up for good. he was stopped from doing so by several Jounin, Kurenai, Gai and Kakashi "more special treatment for the main branch, huh?" Neji scoffed"wrong, Neji-kun. we aren't protecting Hinata, we're protecting you." Gai says in a serious voice.its only then that Neji noticed a red, sparking blade at his neck. he slowly turned his head to see the crimson red eyes of Naruto staring at him"the match is over, Neji. anything you do to her now can and will be considered assault on a comrade. so dont you touch Hinata-chan, got it?" Naruto's spiritual pressure enhanced voice left no room for argument. he sheathed his sword and sealed it in the mark on his hand before flickering away in a spark of blue light.Neji was shaken as Hinata was brought to the medical sector of the tower for treatment. those eyes. they bore into his very soul.Naruto reappeared back with the other Gennin and closed his eyes. he would wait for his turn."alright, lets, 'cough, cough!', lets see.." Hayate pulled out two pieces of paper "Naruto Uzumaki versus Kiba Inuzuka!" at his words Naruto opens his eyes"looks like i wont have to wait long." he jumped down."hell yeah! looks like we'll get to take the bastard down a notch!" Kiba shouts with Akamaru on his shoulder. Kiba had an alpha mentality, he thought he was the best. he constantly tried to challenge Naruto to fights during the academy, but Naruto just brushed him off."okay, 'cough', Hajime!"Kiba rushes at Naruto with Akamaru by his side. Naruto looks on, bored. as soon as Kiba is about to throw the first punch, Naruto clasps his hands, instantly disappearing and reappearing behind Kiba, sitting on his back"you leak way to much ill intent. even if you could conceal your chakra -which you dont even have enough chakra to do- any Chunin worth that title could read your moves like an open book." Naruto comments off handedly, making Kiba grit his teeth in anger"shut up!" he throws a wild haymaker, which Naruto casually dodges"you are strong, Kiba. i'd place you at mid to high Gennin. but you have a long way to go before you break the threshold of Chunin." Naruto swats Akamaru away using his space manipulation to make sure the dog doesn't get too hurt as he hits the wall"damn it..! why cant i hit you!?" Kiba demands, throwing a roundhouse kick which is dodged with ease. Kiba backs up for a moment "why.. why are you so popular!? why do all the girls like you!? im the alpha, damn it!! i deserve the girls! they belong to me! Hinata belongs to me! why does she like you!?" Kina rants hysterically."oop. i think a screw just got loose. better finish this up quick." Naruto comments and swipes his hand down, causing Kiba's head to slam into the concrete floor, knocking him out. decidedly, space manipulation was definitely his favorite of his 5 colors."Winner, Naruto Uzumaki! call the Inuzuka's family, tell them we 'cough', 'cough' 'cough!' ugh. tell them we got a code 4." Hayate announces as Kiba is dragged off alongside Akamaru by medics.as he was taken away, Kurenai turned her head in disappointment with the other Jounin "i had no idea Kiba was a code 4. well, looks like ill be having one less male member in my team."Asuma shivers at remembrance of what happens to code 4 Inuzuka's.that was actually the last match, so all the remaining Gennin were brought down to the arena. the Hokage looked at them with a wide grin"alright, you've all officially moved on to the third portion of the Chunin exams! due to some.. concerns, we have, the third portion will take place in one month. but for now, please take a ball from this box, it will have a number on it, and whoever has the next number will face you in battle!" Minato exclaims, motioning to a box with a circular hole at the top.everyone takes a ball from the box and shows their number.match 1; Naruto Uzumaki vs Negi Hyugamatch 2; Shino Aburame vs Kurotsuchi of Iwamatch 3; Sabaku no Gaara vs Sabaku no Kankuromatch 4; Shikamaru Nara vs Sabaku no Temarimatch 5; Miiya Uzumaki-Namikaze vs Umiko Uzumaki-Namikazematch 6; Fu of Taki vs Dosu of Otomatch 7; Yugito Nii vs Yakumo Kuramamatch 8; Satsuki Uchiha vs Darui of KumoNaruto glared at Neji. he hadn't shown it earlier, but he was profusely angered at Neji's actions against his cousin. he would make him pay. he also noticed that Kurotsuchi from Iwa was glaring at not only him, but also his sisters. he didn't pay much attention to her match, but both of her teammates had lost previously, leaving her as the only one representing Kumogakure. Naruto smirked. even though he didn't pay attention to her match, he could tell that she was strong. she would be a good fight.then he frowned. he would have to explain his abilities to the Hokage after this, and he was not looking foreword to it. how the hell would he explain the nonsense that was red? or the chaos that was blue? what about the absolutely overpoweredness that was green? he would get to it then, first, he would have to escape the forest of death. luckily, each team would be escorted by an anbu to exit the forest after the second part of the exam."alright, Satsuki-san, Yakumo-san, Naruto-san, please follow me." an Anbu with a tiger mask says as they approach the team"lets go, i'd like to start preparing as soon as possible. then, i also have to explain my Kekkei Genkai to my 'father'." Naruto breaths out, giving a sigh. then he thinks of something. then he grabs Satsuki and Yakumo's arms and tells the Anbu to grab his shoulder. then he brings his hand up and twists, causing a tear in space to appear. it looks like a blue thunderous cloud like ring with a black, foggy center. Naruto walks through it and re-appears at the gates of the forest of death"N-Naruto-san.. what was that..?" the Anbu asks, shaken up. his teammates are also pretty spooked, but they are used to him doing things that dont make sense by now"that.. was my Kekkei Genkai. or at least a part of it." he says, before turning away "Satsuki, Yakumo. you should train specially against the opponents you'll fight. Darui of Kumo is a lightning specialist, but is lazy. Yugito Nii on the other hand is serious, she's a fire specialist and is proficient in close combat. i wont help you, but good luck non the less." with those last words he disappears in a swirl of stardust.

Naruto was sitting in front of Minato. the latter was currently waiting patiently for the former to explain his 'Kekkei Genkai'. Kushina, Jiraiya, Tsunade and Orochimaru were sitting to the side and the elders, Homura Mitokado, Koharu Utatane and Danzō Shimura, were standing to the other side"alright, where to even begin.." Naruto clasped a hand over his face for a moment "all righty. so, most Jinchuriki have a split personality, their darkness, that they have to accept and merge with to truly control their Biju. people with my Kekkei Genkai have something similar, a split personality that represents their emotions. any user of my Kekkei Genkai will be mostly emotionless until their emotions get so built up that they explode outwards. in these bursts, our split personalities take control and are able to use all our locked and unlocked abilities. depending on the emotion, our split personality will act differently and we will merge slightly, unlocking a portion of our abilities for ourselves." Naruto breathes out, clearly tired from just explaining the unlocking process"thats the unlocking process, yes? so emotions are necessary only for that." Danzō says, forming plans in his head"no, if we ever lock our emotions away again or they become dimmer, our powers will disappear." Naruto explains, and Danzō gets a look like he was frustrated. this was the case as he couldn't get any members of this clan into his root."what else?" Jiraiya asks, getting slightly impatient"first, i should mention that the split personality's emotions can unlock the first 'color'. and yes, our powers are divided into colors. moving on from that, my first unlocked color was joy and related emotions, represented by yellow. this gives superhuman mental and cognitive capabilities, allowing hours of thoughts to go by in split seconds if you really focus. it also grants unnatural IQ, so much so that while it was activated i figured out how to divide by 0. the answer is an infinite chain of zero's, by the way, so neutral infinity. now, reaction speed is a little different, since the slowing down time when thinking works differently than reacting during an attack. in fact, you can regulate the reaction speed, allowing you to fight with more reaction then an Uchiha with a fully evolved Mangekyou Sharingan, something Itachi taught me about, or seemingly stop time. of course, if you try to use weapons at supersonic speeds, they'll shatter. 'whew'." Naruto explained and let out another breath of air. this was getting tiring."thats incredible, but are you sure you aren't exaggerating a bit?" Homura asks, skeptical"we can do some tests later to confirm. please explain the next 'color', Naruto." Minato says, waving Homura off"right. the next one i unlocked, and my personal favorite, is sadness and its related emotions, represented by blue. i don't like it because of the emotion used to unlock it, but because of its adaptability. blue is the power to manipulate space. you can do soo many things with it, from teleportation, to creating portals, to telekinesis, to generating stardust and celestial electricity. you can even manipulate gravity with it, and that alone is a very powerful ability." somewhere in Amegakure, an orange haired man with black piercings all over him sneezed. "you can make repelling and attracting forces and thats just a whole can of worms by itself. the only drawback is that all of blues abilities require an immense concentration and are so complex that yellow is basically needed to control it at all." Naruto explains, this time not as winded as he was explaining his favorite ability."once again, i find this all quite hard to believe, Naruto-san." Homura voices"did i tell you that i also had access to a pocket dimension? look outside." Naruto says and everyone turns to the window, only to find a black void "secluding one room from the rest of space isn't that hard, and putting it back isn't hard either." i snap my fingers and the normal world returns "no, that wasn't a Genjutsu.""o-okay, Naruto, could you explain your next 'color'?" Minato asks, slightly startled"the next one, i unlocked it when my split personality and the Kyuubi No Kitsune decided to play a prank on me. they scared me, but i managed to break out of it. bravery and related emotions are represented by orange. as far as i know, it gives me super regenerative and defensive abilities. as soon as a kunai passes through my skin, its immediately regenerated. so fast so that a kunai thrown at me wont even draw blood." Naruto paused for a moment, before realization dawned on him "wait, its not direct regeneration. think of it as me regenerating my soul, which directly regenerates my body. orange also lets me manipulate my soul, and with some concentration, the souls of others. while in the forest of death, my team came into contact with Hiruko of the arachnids. he left some bizarre seal on my teammate, Satsuki Uchiha, but my split personality was able to remove it, while noting that it would normally be impossible because of a fraction of the spider Sannin's soul was infused into the seal." Naruto explains, getting gasps and looks of shock from the others"thats impossible, i tried for years but was never able to get that bastards seal off of Anko Mitarashi!" Jiraiya shouts, but Minato quiets his outburst with a bit of killing intent"Naruto-san, do you think it would be possible for you to remove the cursed seal on my daughter?" Orochimaru asks, with a slight pleading tone hidden behind his stoic monotone"that should be possible, yes. you're my godfather, Orochimaru, I'd be happy to." Naruto smiles, and Orochimaru returns it. then Naruto thinks of something. he actually unlocked Green before orange. then there was red. those two, only the Hokage should know about those, or at least the elders dont need to know. be warned, the author is soon going to retcon something from like chapter 5"all right Naruto, i'd like you to demonstrate this regeneration." Tsunade asks. if the kid wouldn't call his obvious bluff, then she could just heal him. yes, Tsunade was calling bullshit, these powers seemed like infinite healing for anyone, and that just hurt her pride to much."sure." Naruto manifests a stardust kunai, rolls up his sleeve and channels wind chakra into it. before anyone can stop him, he cuts his left arm off at the midsection "hold on a moment." before anyone can yell at him, the arm litterally reforms, the one fallen onto the floor disintegrating into blue particles "that proof enough for you?" Naruto smirks at his 'godmother' and lets his kunai disintegrate"o-okay, Brat, whats the next 'color'?" she asks, getting over the stupor of an arm simply regrowing at that speedheres the retcon "the next and final color is purple. when i asked my split personality how to unlock it, ergo what emotion it represents, he just told me ill find it out on my own." Naruto deadpans "and its kind of a bummer, because its an amplifier. it can amplify the power of anything to superhuman levels. no, not just superhuman. godly. and of course, it can also amplify my other abilities." Naruto explains "maybe you can get it out of Kanjomaru? hold on." Naruto made a ram hand sign, and his hair turned fully white as he closed his eyes"well, dont we have quite the group here?" Kanjomaru says, now in control and opening his eyes. everyone was weary as this person could use all the aforementioned colors "a red-head, a slug, a snake, a toad, a blondie and some old bats! why do these guys have to be here for the explanation of my powers again? feels like they shouldn't even have access to the knowledge they exist at all, let alone know what they do.""know your place, Gennin!" Koharu shouts in outrage. she was clearly sensitive about her age"see what im talking about? she should have absolutely no authority over shinobi, yet seemingly she thinks she does!" Kanjomaru exclaims"he makes good points. elders, please leave. and don't order around my Shinobi." Minto motions for the Anbu to escort them out when they refuse to listen. now that its just ninja in the room, Kanjomaru smirks"all right, Naruto didn't want the fossils to know about his last two colors, fear represented by green and anger represented by red." Kanjomaru says, making most of the adults widen their eyes, except for Orochimaru"i had a feeling he was holding something back." Orochimaru sighs, taking a sip of tea from a cup, wait where the hell did he get tea from???"green is pretty simple. its just time manipulation." Kanjomaru starts, short-circuiting all of their minds for a moment "skip through time, go back in time, stop time, you can do a few other things but those are the main things.""....i shouldn't be surprised at this point. whats red?" Tsunade mutters, out of energy"that one is reality manipulation. and yes, i do mean that literally. these powers originated from god, did you think they would be normal?" Kanjomaru blurts out"you got them from GOD!?" Jiraiya shouts "dont you mean Kami?""no, god. as in the creator of the universe, and so much more. if you want to know why he gave Naruto these powers, ask him yourself, like hell if i know." Kanjomaru says, removing the spiritual pressure from his voice "now that i think about it, most of you shouldn't be allowed to know about all this. you, you and you." Kanjomaru points to Kushina, Jiraiya and Tsunade. they all slump down to the floor "dont worry, they're fine. just sleeping." at his words, Orochimaru and Minato calm down"you... removed their memories?" Orochimaru asks with slight trepidation"yeah. and if you tell anyone else about my powers..." Kanjomaru's voice went sinister at the end. Minato almost forgot it was his son he was speaking to. then he remembered it was his son's split personality"we get it, we get it, they came from god and all that." Orochimaru says. yes, yes they did. they did come from me!"will you tell us how to unlock the last color or not?" Minato deadpans"oh, don't worry. Naruto will unlock it in the last round. byeee!" with that, Kanjomaru closed his eyes and his hair went back to normal."...""...""let me guess, he wiped their minds and told you about red and green. he also didn't say anything about purple." Naruto says, eliciting nods from the still awake duo. "listen, i'd like to keep my powers secret until after the chunin exams. can i trust you two?""you're my son, Naruto. even if i haven't been the best father, i can at least do this for you." Minato says, a small smile gracing his face. he got a minor headache, but it was nothing anymore."as long as you can get that cursed seal off of my daughter, you have my word." Orochimaru says. Naruto leans back and sighs"well, i guess we should take care of that cursed seal before anything else, huh?" Naruto exclaims"r-right now!?" Orochimaru asks, slightly startled"yeah, faster we get it done then the faster i can get to training. where is Anko san right now?" Naruto asks, getting up from his chair"uh, she should be at a certain Dango bar near the Ichiraku ramen stand..." as Orochimaru says that, Naruto opens the door and it suddenly leads to right inside the said dango bar"i love blue." Naruto chuckles as Orochimaru slowly follows him inside, dumbfounded "hey, you were right, there she is." Naruto walked up to the main bar where the proctor of the second part of the exam"heh..? oh, its you. what do you want, brat?" she mumbles as she notices Naruto's approach"i owe your father, Orochimaru, a favor. come on, i'll tell you more, but not in public." Anko was suspicious at Naruto's words, until she noticed her dad at the dooras the walked through the door, she was surprised to find herself in the Hokage's office with two of the three official sannin and Kushina Uzumaki-Namikaze passed out on the couch"what the hell?" she asks aloud while being ushered into a chair"hold still." Naruto says, activating orange and slapping her neck where the cursed mark is"ow! what the hell!?" she says for the second time, rubbing her neck"alright, its done. you should probably paint a fake over where it used to be so no one gets suspicious, at least until the end of the chunin exams." Naruto says nonchalantly while summoning the force to teleport away, which he doesMinato looked at Orochimaru as if to ask 'did it work?' so Orochimaru tells Anko to remove her hand. what he sees astonishes him "he did it... Anko, its gone!" Orochimaru cries tears of joy"w-what's gone, dad?" Anko asks, getting slightly nervous"the cursed mark! he got rid of it!" at her fathers words, Anko stares in disbelief at where the boy had been, before tears well up at her eyes too. this was undoubtedly the best day of her life

{meanwhile, at the hospital}

Kiba groaned. he could still feel pain all over from whatever that 'arrogant prick', in his opinion, had done to him.suddenly, he saw his room's door open and his mother and sister walked in."hey..." he muttered, weakly waving his arm. he flinched slightly at their glares"Kiba, have you ever realized that our clan kind of... lacks men? its not that there aren't any, but there're few and far in between." his mother, Tsume asks with an expressionless deadpan"uhh.." Kiba was hard pressed to find an answer for that. he remembered there being tons of boys when he was a kid, but then they kind of disappeared"Kiba, in our clan we have a few different ways of designating clan members. you, are a code 4. an Inuzuka who believes that women are nothing but playthings, and that he should own whatever female he wants because he is quote on quote, 'alpha'." Hana explains, going off topic as far as Kiba was concerned"what does that have to do with anything?" Kiba asks, getting a bad feeling in his guts"now, some code 4's don't go that far in the first place or are rehabilitated. sadly, most have an episode where the 'cross the line' and thats when they become dangerous. leave them to fester and they might end up raping someone." Tsume continues where Hana left off, completely ignoring Kiba. the latter of which was tired and just decided to let them finish"you, dear brother, had that episode at the end of your fight with Naruto Uzumaki. now, you have to be rehabilitated. the process of which has four outcomes, but we'll get to those later." Hana finishes, and Kiba starts to sweat bullets"h-how exactly do you 'rehabilitate' code 4's..?" Kiba asks, genuinely afraid of whatever answer he might get. he notices Tsume injecting a pink liquid into his I.V. bag"like this. this liquid, in 24 hours, will transform you into a girl. you'll live as such until you're rehabilitated, which makes up about 10% of code 4's that get this treatment. so don't worry, you might not be stuck like this forever." at his mothers words, Kiba starts to freak out, but realizes that he's been chained to the bed and his chakra has been temporarily restrained with a seal."but remember, there are three other outcomes. 1, you could end up never changing your views on women, leaving you stuck, that makes up about 25% of code 4's. 2, your mind could change and you could enjoy being a woman, this being an uncommon side affect, in such case we have another optional drug that makes the feminization permanent, this makes up 30% of code 4's." Hana continues. Kiba might have bee slightly reassured he would find his manhood again, but was getting less hopeful"and finally, 3. in the event of pregnancy occurring through rape or other, the Inuzuka will be stuck as a girl forever. this makes up 20% of code 4's, and the rest never need rehabilitation." Tsume finishes. the whole time in that same, emotionless deadpanKiba suddenly started resisting his restraints "ahh! get this thing out of me! NOOO!!!" his family looked on with no visible expression or emotion as Kiba screamed his heart out. {if you think I'm giving you anything else for the one month training break, then you are sorely mistaken!}

{after the one month of training-Konoha stadium}

everyone who passed the second exam was here. the seating areas were crowded with ninja and civilians -mostly from Konoha- but also some from other villages as well. the Chunin exams were a place where you could put aside your differences and just enjoy watching two kids beat the shit out of each other.wow, put it that way and it sounds kind of morbid, huh? well, its the truth. flashy ninjutsu, powerful taijutsu, confusing genjutsu, the crowd lives for seeing these in action.Naruto was standing alongside the other Chunin hopefuls in a neat line. he was wearing a basic black long sleeved tight fitting muscle shirt under a long black coat with white flame markings at the hem. it had the Kanji for 'true dragon' at the back. he also wore white harem pants and reinforced shinobi sandals(basically Toji's fit but with the black coat). his forearms, above the muscle shirts sleeves but below the coat sleeves were covered in combat tape, which were themselves covered in seals.he looked ahead and saw a man with a bandana and a senbon sticking out of his mouth. this was Genma Shiranui."hey. what happened to the sick guy?" Fu shouts, getting Genma's attention"im the proctor now, Hayate had a doctor's appointment so he couldn't come. in other words, I'm his replacement." Genma waves her off and then looks around. everyone seemed to be fired up, and the crowds were full. he looked up to the Hokage as if asking for permission. Minato nods and Genma clears his throat, using chakra to enhance his voice "all right, everyone is here, so without further adue, i hereby announce the third part of the chunin exams! the rounds have already been decided, so will every Gennin except for Naruto Uzumaki and Neji Hyuuga please leave the arena!"as everyone except Naruto and Neji hops up to the participants box, Naruto takes the time to examine the arena. it was much bigger than the one in the tower, and it had a miniature forest and some water around it. instead of rectangular, it was circular. this arena definitely had nature imbued within, it was made by a sage and maintained by people with high nature affinities. he could see Fuinjutsu all along the walls and floors, canceled by even more Fuinjutsu.up in the Jounin spectator box, Kurenai looked on in interest. Naruto had defeated Kiba, her most combat adapted Gennin, if more than a little sexist. she smirked at the memory Kiba's punishment."Nee-chan!" she jumped as Anko hugged her from behind"Kami, Anko, dont scare me like that!" Kurenai chastises, but Anko just laughed it off "..aren't you just a bit too happy today? not that thats a bad thing, but might i ask what's got you so up today?""fufufufu! today is the day i get to reveal that -drum roll please," Anko starts. hell, why not? i appear in my human form (you know him from purple fox) out of sight and walk up, making a drum roll sound by repeatedly tapping the railing "thank you, random civilian. as i was saying..... my cursed seal is gone!""...heh?" Kurenai asks, struggling to comprehend this new bit of info. i stopped drum-rolling and walked away after Anko said her thing, then i decided to just disappear in plain sight. why not? no one will believe you, random civilian no. 287 who saw me."check it out!" Anko opened her trench coat neck caller to reveal her neck, where her cursed seal was and where Kurenai had saw it just yesterday. little did she know, that was a drawing made with a marker"heeeh!?" Kurenai gasps, touching where the mark should have been, trying to find the said mark "did Jiraiya-sama or Yondaime-sama figure out how to remove it??" Kurenai asked, believing that those were the only people capable of such a thing"nope! it was that kid down there!" Kurenai pointed down to Naruto with a big smile on her face "im reaally starting to like him!""it was Naruto!?" Asuma asks, suddenly in between them and staring down at the red/white head"i would say im surprised, but im not." Fugaku says, walking towards them "after all, i was there when the kid awakened his Kekkei Genkai. plus, im his Jounin sensei." he boasts, puffing out his chest"Kekkei Genkai!? is that what he used on Kiba a month ago? wait, its Kitana now.." Kurenai starts, trailing off at the end"that was an application of a sub-ability called blue. he amplified gravity on Kib-Kitana by around 20 to 40 times. he calls that technique 'fall'." Fugaku explains, remembering the first time Naruto had used 'fall' against Gato's army of bandits and thugs"th-thats insane!" Asuma mumbles"what are you guys talking about?" Kakashi asks, strolling towards the group of Jounin along side Kushina"you'll see soon, Kakashi. oh, by the way, Anko got her cursed seal removed." Fugaku comments, getting Kakashi to trip on himself"n-no way.. i was only able to temporarily seal Sasuke's cursed seal, did Minato-sensei figure out how to remove them?" Kakashi asks and all the Jounin point to Naruto "it was Naruto?" they all nod. Kakashi just goes back to reading his little orange book, not willing to try and comprehend anything anymore. Kushina seemed to get a pained look and she flinched, clenching her head before going back to normal. no one noticed the string of black ink going down her neck and glowing before returning up to her head."look, look! Genma's about to start the match!" Anko shouts, giggling while imagining the bloodshed.back down in the arena, Genma looked to Naruto and then to Neji. he looked down, raised his hand and chopped it down while yelling "Hajime!" and jumping back.immediately, Neji decided that he was going to break this boy's spirit first "just give up, dont waist your energy. fate has already declared me the victor, there is nothing you can-" Neji started, but was cut off as Naruto put his hand into his kunai pouch. he got into a defensive stance, before going into a deadpan as Naruto brought out a cook book"honestly, is your whole tactic just yammering about fate and hoping your opponent will wimp out? thats never going to work in a real fight, you're already losing Chunin points." Naruto yawns, flipping a page in his cook book "hmm.. thats a nice dumpling recipe..""how dare you ignore me!?" Neji starts to rush Naruto "i am a prodigy, a genius! one as skilled as me has not been seen in my clan for over 50 years!" he yells while jabbing at Naruto with Juuken strikes "how dare you write me off as some weakling!?""im making you mad, aren't i?" Naruto comments, making Neji stop and back off, gritting his teeth"he was doing this on purpose! he's making me mad so i get sloppy! but it is all for not, because fate is on my side!" Neji thinks, getting into a stance that few recognized, save for the Hyuga members in the stands"thats-!" Hiashi says from the stands, getting his daughter, Hanabi, to look at look at him weirdly "did he recreate it all by himself..? he truly is a prodigy, its a shame he was not born into the main house. he would have made our clan great as its head.."back in the arena, Neji smirked "you are in my range of divination!" he rushed at Naruto and started to jab him "two palms! four palms! eight palms! 16 palms! 32 palms!" he then shouted "eight trigrams! 64 palms!" Neji finished his move by jabbing Naruto 64 more times "proctor, call the match, he can no longer use chakra." Neji looked away, before a voice shocked him"i̷ ̷w̸a̵n̵t̵e̴d̶ ̸t̵o̵ ̶s̵a̸v̴e̷ ̵t̸h̴i̷s̶ ̶f̵o̵r̵ ̴l̶a̵t̵e̷r̸,̵ ̴b̴u̶t̴ ̵n̶o̶w̵'̵s̸ ̵a̴s̵ ̷g̵o̷o̴d̵ ̵a̸ ̵t̶i̷m̶e̶ ̴a̸s̶ ̴a̸n̷y̷ ̷t̵o̸ ̷t̴r̸y̵ ̴i̷t̶ ̸o̵u̵t̷.̵" Naruto says, his sage markings appearing. he opened his eyes, and his eyes had turned pitch black with white diamonds for pupils"wh-what..? whats that chakra flowing through you!?" Neji asked, getting scared"t̸r̸u̴e̷ ̴d̶r̶a̴g̶o̵n̴ ̸s̷e̸n̸j̶u̵t̷s̶u̴.̷ ̷v̸e̷r̷y̴ ̴h̷a̷n̶d̵y̶,̸ ̷i̷l̴l̸ ̴a̷d̸m̶i̷t̵.̷ t̶h̶o̶u̵g̴h̵ ̵i̵t̶s̶ ̷n̴o̷t̵ ̸c̵o̵m̶p̴l̶e̴t̶e̵ ̸y̵e̸t̵.̴" Naruto explains, before concentrating. black and white horns grew out of his forehead, and similarly colored wings appeared out of his back "t̴h̶e̸r̸e̴.̴"the civilians looked on before cheering. this was getting interesting.Jiraiya and Minato got shocked looks "thats sage mode! Naruto has a summons!?" Jiraiya shouts"he said 'true dragon senjutsu'! everyone in the elemental nations who can use Senjutsu have been A-rank to SSS-rank, where does that place Naruto..?" Minato says, trailing off at the end "wait, what's he doing..?"Naruto had dispelled his sage mode "true dragon sage mode is the highest level one can achieve using dragon Senjutsu. its way too overkill for someone like you, as it puts someone at the center on nature itself." Naruto explains, then gets a dangerous glare "you preach about fate, so why did you do something so horrible to Hinata-chan?" Naruto asked. in the stands, Hinata fainted, Kurenai catching her."what do you mean by that..?" Neji asked, shocked by the fact that he had used the legendary sage arts to deblock his Tenketsu"im well aware of the main house and branch house of the Hyuga clan. quite frankly, it disgusts me to my very core, its nothing more then enslavement. and im also well aware of the Hyuga kidnaping situation, i was there." his last words surprised everyone who knew what he was talking about. Naruto was there, he had been the one to stop the Kumo delegate."y-you dont know what you're talking about.." Neji stuttered, getting self conscious"you blame Hinata-chan because she was the one who got kidnapped. and thats stupid as hell. you used that as an excuse to almost kill her." Naruto accused"shut up! you know nothing of fate!" Neji exclaimed, taking off his headband, revealing a blue mark shaped like two bones forming an X and one hook for each side. "this is the caged bird seal. each member of the branch house has this tattooed onto their forehead once they come of age. the main house uses this to control the branch house, with a single hand sign they can explode our eyes, paralyze us for life, instantly kill us or just plain old torture us. this is the fate of the branch house. do you now unde-" Neji preaches, but is cut off my Naruto"yeah, didn't i just tell you like a minute ago that im well aware of the whole Hyuga situation?" Naruto comments, getting Neji to get angry at this boy's blatant dismissal of his suffering"aaargh!" Neji shouts going in to perform his 8 trigrams 64 palms again"i've only recently learned this technique." Naruto declares as he makes a finger gun gesture. red light gathers at the point. Neji backs off, sensing the threat "blue. the ability to control space. its main ability is attraction and distortion, but diverging it gives an interesting effect." he comments as red light finishes gathering into a small marble sized orb at the tip of his fingers"what could that be..?" Neji wonders, getting ready to perform his ultimate defense"spatial divergence: red." the red marble shot from his fingers, straight towards Neji at low Chunin speeds."eight trigrams: rotation!" Naji started to spin rapidly, expelling chakra from every Tenketsu and creating a shield. as the red orb made contact with the shield, it exploded into a giant red shockwave, blowing Neji away. Naruto looked surprised"i only put one tenth of its original power though..?" Naruto mutters, scratching his head. everyone heard him, and was shocked. he dispelled what was considered the ultimate defense with an attack that was at 1/10ths of its full power. most Jounin couldn't say they had done so with a full power Jutsu, so this just made him gain more Chunin points for the judges" 'cough, cough', what the hell was that..!?" Neji asks, getting back up"quite litterally the fruits of fighting against fate." Naruto appears in front of his downed form "fate does exist, yes. so does destiny. but the gods themselves actively work against it. people have the ability to influence fate because of them. and hell, i use that authority all the time. maybe its time you do too." with those words, Naruto lifts Neji's headband, placing a hand onto his caged bird seal. "fly free, little Hyuga. fly free from the cage of fate." Naruto says as he walks away "i just knocked him out, proctor. take him to get checked out by the medics, he might have a few broken bones."as Genma went over to Neji, he got a suspicion. he lifted the forehead protector, and gasped. the caged bird seal was no where to be found."uhh, winner; Naruto Uzumaki! Medics, come take a look at the Hyuga, but dont remove his forehead protector. and tell Hiashi-sama that he should have a meeting with Naruto-san."as Neji was escorted out and Naruto walked up to the competitors box, the entirety of Konoha's Gennin (the ones that passed) looked at him with shock"Nii-san! what was that!?" Umiko asked, getting up close to Naruto's face"i thought i explained it? its a divergent usage of spatial manipulation. it creates a strong shockwave of repulsive energy, concentrated to a single point." Naruto explains"thats not what she's talking about! troublesome.. she's talking about how you could use spatial manipulation." ill give you three guesses who said that."its a Kekkei Genkai. we've seen him use that ability before, months ago in fact. but it was an alter ego created by the very same Kekkei Genkai." Satsuki explains "i had no idea you managed to recreate it.. but last time, wasn't it 'space manipulation, reversal; red'?""that was the original, it was inefficient. i recreated it using a different concept. though, since it was different, i couldn't call it the same thing." Naruto explains, causing Yakumo and Satsuki to nodthe Ninja from outside of Konoha could only look on in utter bewilderment, not understanding what the people from Konoha were talking about. because Naruto put up a barrier that makes it sound like they were talking in an alien language"wow! you're really amazing, Aniki!" "all right! now that the arena has been somewhat repaired, lets get back to it! will Shino Aburame and Kurotsuchi of Iwa please come down!" Genma shouts. the arena, that had been slightly damaged, was just finished being repaired with a few Doton Jutsu.Shino appeared in the arena in an insect Shunshin, and Kurotsuchi just jumped down, smirking all the whileShino decided to analyze his opponent and what he knew about her. well, thats not too much, is it? she had the lava release Kekkei Genkai, she was the current Tsuchikage's grand daughter and being groomed to take the hat, she was physically much stronger then him, etc.Kurotsuchi also did this. she knew that her opponent was a member of the Aburame clan, and specialized in Kikaichu. Kikaichu are insects that feed off of Chakra and could instantly defeat her if she got surrounded. hiding was useless, because if he managed to get a female Kikaichu on her, the pheromones it released would make her a veritable beacon. but she could easily take down large portions of his nest if they grouped up"ready? Hajime!" Genma jumped back to the proctor box as the two Gennin finished their analysis' of their opponents and rushed at each other. well, rushed in Kurotsuchi's case. Shino stayed still, letting his bugs slowly crawl over him.Kurotsuchi engaged Shino in a taijutsu match, before she felt something crawling on her arm. she backed off and crushed the Kikaichu before it could eat any of her Chakra "i see taijutsu is a no-go with you." she comments"hm.." Shino devises a plan. a quite simple one. he would create several bug clones and surround her. she would at best be able to dispel 1 or two, and the rest would swarm her with Kikaichu and drai-"Yoton: Seisekkai no dangan!!" Shino is cut off from his thought process as several bullets of quick lime shoot at him. he dodges two, but the third and fourth one hit, quickly hardening and trapping him"...'sigh', proctor, i give up. i see absolutely no way of getting out of this. if i continue this fight, most of my colony will be eradicated, and i'd much prefer to keep my strength. although its regrettable im unable to show off my skills, this just gives me another half a year to work on myself." Shino explains as Kurotsuchi breaks him out of her Jutsuup in the stands, the entirety of the Konoha participants deadpan"thats the longest i've ever heard Shino talk in one session.." Shikamaru mumbles, resting his head on his arms on the rail"i think thats the longest anyone's ever heard him talk in one session.." Naruto mumbles right next to himKurenai was thinking along the same line up in the Jounin/special Jounin box"okay, winner; Kurotsuchi of Iwa! Medics, come make sure the lime stone didn't break one of Shino Aburame's bones." Genma announces, and a medic nin quickly comes and does a once over, assuring Shino that he was fine, just a little bruised with a cracked rib. as Shino is escorted to be slightly treated, Kurotsuchi jumps back onto the participants box. "now, can Sabaku no Gaara and Sabaku no Kankuro please come down?""proctor! i give up!" Kankuro shouts "i know when im beat, and i can't beat my little sister!" Gaara scoffed at that and looked sad, having missed out on a fight. Naruto patted her head to comfort her, which she happily accepted"well, that was boring but winner; Sabaku no Gaara!" Genma drawls with a deadpan. "lets keep things going at a fast pace, so can Shikamaru Nara and Sabaku no Temari please come down!"Shikamaru was about to give up, but Naruto lifted him up by the collar "h-hey!""go fight, ya lazy bum!" Naruto litterally launched Shikamaru down to the arena, where he barely managed to soften his fall with ChakraTemari used her giant fan to glide down and land across from Shikamaru"Hajime!" Genma jumped back as Temari rushed towards Shikamaru with her battle fan in handShikamaru dodged the initial attack and backflipped a few times. he quickly made a modified rat hand sign, and his shadow extended towards Temari's. she jumps back a few times back from the quickly approaching shadow.suddenly, the shadow stops in its tracks, before receding "i see! so this is the limit. as long as i stay behind this line," Temari uses her fan to trace a line at her feet "you can't touch me. but i can still hurt you!" she swung her fan, sending a blade of wind towards Shikamaru. the latter dodged it, jumping back into the tree line"tch, troublesome. i was hoping to end this quickly." Shikamaru mutters under his breath, but Temari still heard him and smirked"too bad, kid. you're fighting a strategist!" Temari boasts, but Shikamaru just smirks and forms an odd hand sign. Temari tenses, getting ready for a Jutsu, but nothing ever came"what's that hand sign? its nothing like anything i've ever seen." Kurenai asks"that hand sign means Shikamaru has already won." Asuma exclaims, and the other Jounin look at him questioningly, so he decides to elaborate "a while back, i decided to do an IQ test on him. we played Shogi for about an hour. each time i thought i had him, he did that hand sign and won in a few moves. i estimated his IQ to be around or above 200, and that hand sign is his way of concentrating on nothing but elaborating a plan. for as long as he's been holding it, he should have about 7 plans, 8 backup plans and a dozen more ready to pull out of his ass at a moment's notice." Asuma explains, getting bopped on his head for his crass language, curtesy of Kurenai"thats incredible.." Kushina mumbles, staring at the boy in wonder"psh, not as much as Naruto's IQ when he uses yellow. i couldn't even measure it, it surpassed the maximum IQ." Fugaku scoffs, getting looks of disbelief from his peersShikamaru breaks his hand sign and starts throwing kunai after kunai and shuriken after shuriken, also using the Kage bunshin kunai no jutsu to increase the number of projectiles."is that all you got!?" Temari shouts, grinning ear to ear as she blows the blades aside, landing near her.Shikamaru uses his shadow possession jutsu again, and Temari stands confidently behind her line. to her surprise, the shadow shoots right past the line and goes for her own shadow. she jumps back, and traces a new line where the shadow stops."i see.. you used the tree line's shadow, that was itself extended by the sun's light, to extend your own shadow. but this is the new limit! you wont catch me off guard with the same trick again." Temari declares and Shikamaru goes back to throwing projectiles.eventually, Shikamaru backs back into the forest, and Temari gets cautious, before 10 minutes pass and she gets too irritated and uses a wind scythe to cut the tree Shikamaru was hiding behind up.Shikamaru jumps out, sans Jacket, and uses his shadow possession jutsu again. Temari jumps back in anticipation of the tree line's shadow augmenting Shikamaru's shadow. what she didn't expect was how much farther it went. she looked up while jumping back and saw a makeshift hot air balloon using Shikamaru's jacket and a kunai. he was using its shadow to get just that little bit farther. she couldn't find the concentration to just back up really far, so she started dodging it left and right.Shikamaru smirked as Temari kept on dodging. eventually, the shadow stopped and began to retract" 'hah', 'hah', you almost got me with that balloon trick, but rest assured, i wont-" Temari is cut off as she feels her muscles lock up"shadow possession jutsu; success." Shikamaru breaths out, releasing his rat hand sign and going into a standing position. Temari follows suit, forced to mimic his movements"h-how..?" Temari asks, still mimicking Shikamaru's movements"i used the Kunai and Shuriken i threw earlier to elongate my shadow. it retracting a minute ago was just to make you drop your guard." Shikamaru explains, bringing his hand up. Temari does the same and grits her teeth "proctor, i give up." everyone, including Temari was completely baffled at that"c-could you explain why?" Genma asks, and Temari, having just been released from Shikamaru's shadow, looks at him dangerously"im almost out of chakra. i've looked through about 100 possible outcomes, but none of them lead to me winning. I'd rather just cut my losses here and prevent any need for medical treatment." Shikamaru drawls, walking off to the arena exitTemari stands there, utterly shocked. she had just been out-planned. out-strategized! and she was the greatest strategist of her generation! at least in Suna. and this.. this lazy butt just beat her at her own game!"winner; Sabaku no Temari!" Genma announces, and the crowd goes wild. this may have not been the flashiest of matches today. but it was by far the most intense.as Temari sulked in the corner of the competitors box, she got startled as Gaara patted her back, mumbling something about young love. where was the chemistry she saw exactly?"looks like Shikamaru's got a love interest." Yakumo giggles. seriously, what does everyone see in those two!? is there some hidden, profound chemistry between the lazy ass and the wind mistress that i just cant see but everyone else can???"lets go! Miiya Uzumaki-Namikaze and Umiko Uzumaki-Namikaze, please come down!" Genma shoutsbefore the two sisters can jump down, Naruto holds them back "no matter who wins down there, we're all family. do your best." he says and lets them go"hai, onii-san!" they say in unison, giving salutes before jumping down."wow.. they really admire you, dont they?" Kurotsuchi asks, coming close to Naruto"we're siblings. i admire them as much as they admire me. im their big brother, so i need to set an example. if i mess up, they know what to avoid doing. if i succeed, they can follow in my footsteps." Naruto explain with a smile, but Kurotsuchi scoffs"don't think im buying any of that bull shit from the son of the yellow flash." she sneers, staring at him in contempt"im wouldn't expect you to, considering what my 'father' did during the last great shinobi war. still, the concept of passing on the sins of the father to the child is pretty childish in of itself." Naruto sighs, staring at Kurotsuchi with a disappointed look"oh, dont give me tha-" Kurotsuchi is cut off as Naruto places a finger on her lips, causing her to blush"shh, the fight's starting." he whispers, looking to his sisters down in the arena"Hajime!" Genma shouts, chopping his arm down and jumping back to his box as the two sisters rush at each other immediatelyup in the Kage box, A, Onoki, Rasa(?) and Minato watched on in interest"all of your children are strong, Minato. i am interested in the Sage arts young Naruto displayed during his match." A says, watching Umiko and Miiya duke it out"they're my pride and joy. as for Naruto's sage arts, thats something he must have been working on in secret, since even i didn't know about it. judging solely on how he called it, he must be a Dragon summoner." Minato explains, looking on in undisguised fondness at his children"i, for one, am more interested in the boy's Kekkei Genkai. the ability to manipulate space, that is something that could make anyone an A-rank shinobi at the least." Rasa(?) says, watching as Umiko brings out a katana and starts using it against her sister"he can do far more than manipulate space, Kazekage-dono. in fact, he has yet to fully unlock his Kekkei Genkai." Minato explains, eyeing Raza with carefully hidden suspicion. he knew exactly who the man sitting besides him was, and it wasn't the third KazeKage"Minato. after the Chunin exams, I'd like to discuss something with you. I'd like to burry the hatchet, as it were. I'm sure our fallen comrades are dancing together in the afterlife, its no use baring a grudge over them." Onoki says, surprising everyone there."i always pegged you for the stubborn type, Tsuchikage-dono." Rasa(?) says, glancing over at Onoki"i am. its just that my people have bore a hatred towards not only you, Minato, but your children as well. i see no reason for your sins to be passed onto them. its childish." Onoki huffs, glancing down as Miiya releases her Chakra chains to counteract Umiko's Kenjutsu"I'd be more than happy, Onoki. we can discuss it tomorrow, for now, me and A actually have something planned for right after the Chunin exams. we would be more than grateful if you were to join us." Minato offers his hand, and Onoki accepts it in a handshake"sounds fun, why not?" Onoki chuckles as Umiko manages to get Miiya to surrender"aren't you going to invite me?" Rasa(?) asks before chuckling "only kidding, i also have plans for right after the exams so i unfortunately wont be able to join you." Rasa(?) inwardly smirks. to him, these fools have no idea what's coming.down at the arena, Genma had just called the match in Umiko's favor after she managed to place her blade at Miiya's throat"Dosu of Oto did not present himself this morning, so Fu of Taki automatically wins match 6. can Yugito Nii and Yakumo Kurama please come down?" Genma shouts, annd after a few words of encouragement from their respective teammates, both Gennin come down"aww.. im so bummed that Dosu guy chickened out! i really wanted to fight..." Fu sighs as Naruto approaches her"nice to meet you, number 7." Naruto greets with a smile, and Fu grind back"right back at cha', number 9~" she hums "Chomei says you're an ideal mate, though im not too sure what she means by that." its now clear that however flirty or seductive Fu acts, its all Chomei telling her to act that way. she is way to childish to get any of that"right? Gaara-chan is always talking about 'mates' and 'marriage' and stuff, but i dont get any of it." Naruto replies back in a similarly childish tone"finally! someone who understands me!" Fu gasps with stars in her eyes and hugs Narutolittle did they realize, this temporarily established a connection between their Biju.

{in the mind scape}

"its been a while, Kyu~" Chomei greets. she all around looked like an older version of Fu, only wearing her hair in a high pony tail, contrast to Fu's low pony tail. she wore a dark green Kimono with pink and yellow insect patterns, specifically butterflies and beetles."get out of here Chomei, i was enjoying a nice cup of tea. i can't enjoy my specially modeled seal with yours syncing with it." Kyurako huffs, turning around"sp-specially modeled!? you got your host to model your seal to make it more comfortable..?" Chomei asks, definitely surprised "that almost never happens! and if it does, its to make it harder for us to manipulate them, which we dont even want to do!""ha, well i have a big forest with plenty of fox friends and prey to hunt and even a nice little house." Kyurako boasts, puffing out her chest"ahh! no fair!!" Chomei stomps her feet like a little kid "i want one too! get your host to make me one too!" she whines, hugging Kyurako like a child begging for candy or something"...maybe, but thats a big maybe. we'll see after the exam thingy." Kyurako relents, hugging Chomei back "in any case, its nice to see you again, sister. even if im only one third of my normal self.""what do you mean by that?" Chomei asks, staring up at her big sister"when i was sealed, i was split in three. i was left without any of my Youkai, i only recently fully recovered it. my other two halves are sealed in the Hokage's daughters. im the anger one, by the way." Kyurako explains"ooohh, I'm so sorry! that must have been a terrible experience!" Chomei sobs crocodile tears" 'sigh', it was. but its fine, ill eventually become whole again. and until then. i have a cute container to keep me company~" Kyurako starts, before realizing her own words "i-i didn't m-mean to say c-cute, i-i-i..." she stammers, eliciting a smirk/grin from Chomei "...if you tell anyone i said that, ill ring you out of existence." Kyurako threatens, getting Chomei to back up, making a placating motion with her hands and sweating heavily"i promise! promise!" Chomei cries as the black void surrounding them begins to fade"looks like our connection is ending, no doubt because the fight just finished. i'll see you later, little sister." Kyurako smirked and patted Chomei on the head, eliciting a pout"mah, Onee-chan, just make sure you dont end up molesting your host, you seem head over heals for the guy~" Chomei teases, making Kyurako blush and stutter, but she's unable to make a comeback before the shared mindscape shattered, leaving Kyurako in her house, sitting at her table with a steaming cup of tea.

{back out in the real world, a few seconds prior}

Naruto's eyes widened as a giant blue fire ball was shooting towards Yakumo, and her leg had a kunai logged in it so she couldn't dodge in time. she would be engulfed by the flames, just like that guy from the prelims. he couldn't just stand by and let this happen."sorry Fu-chan, we can talk later. i cant let my teammate die like this." Naruto says and takes his arm away from Fu, who was holding it in her cleavage for some reason"wait! be careful!" she tries to warn, but Naruto bites his thumb and reaches up his sleeve while jumping downhe warps over to Yakumo and slams his thumb down, causing a giant plume of smoke. the fireball enters the cloud, but no explosion or scream of terror is heardYakumo slowly opens her eyes when the pain doesn't come, and what greets her is astonishing. a horse sized black and white creature that looks like a big cutesy drawing cat, only with a dragon tail, scaly wings and glowing horns coming out of its forehead. Naruto was standing right next to it, arm outstretched. the fireball hovered in mid air"N-Naruto-kun..?" Yakumo asked, slightly teary eyed"its alright, Yakumo-chan. im here. Hamoru! you know what to do." Naruto says, and the dragon grows bigger"rooaar!" Hamoru opens its jaw wide and swallows the blue fireball wholeYugito looked on in slight confusion as Naruto pet the now small Hamoru for doing a good job, before turning to glare at her"that was lethal force. i understand that its permitted, but hasn't your village taught you any form of restraint? there's no need for senseless killing. death and killing create hate. hate creates death and killing. its a vicious cycle, and its one that will never be truly broken. but there's no reason to make it stronger." Naruto chastises, and Yugito suddenly feels like a child being scolded by a great elder "you had already won, Yakumo was out of chakra and at her physical limit. what was the point of killing her?""i.. im sorry.." Yugito apologized, but Naruto glared harder"dont apologize to me, im not the one you almost killed." Naruto turned around and warped back up, leaving Hamoru to protect Yakumo as she was carried off.he glanced once more back down to see Yugito bowing to Yakumo's form that was outstretched on a stretcher. she was most likely apologizing for her rash behavior. good."Winner; Yugito Nii! okay, last match for today and then we'll kick things back on tomorrow! can Satsuki Uchiha and Darui of Kumo please come down for the final match!" Genma announces, and the crowd cheers.Darui muttered something about 'troublesome' and was launched down by Yugito and Satsuki jumped down by herself."Hajime!" Genma shouts, once again jumping back"damn it, why did i have to fight a girl? i hate fighting girls.." Darui muttered under his breath.{A/N i think you should have understood this earlier but time is a lil jumbled up in this fic. i didn't really bother finding out who else to put in the Kumo team other than that one girl, so i lowered the overall power of Darui and Yugito to add them to the team.}Satsuki wasted no time and immediately activated her Sharingan and got into her modified interceptor fist stance. she watched her opponent carefully, his chakra seemed to be flowing erratically, like lightning. though, thats just the impression it gave her, her eyes couldn't directly see the flow of chakra.they stood like that for a few seconds, before Darui suddenly started weaving through hand signs at a fast pace "Kuro Raiton: Burakkupansā no danmaku!" he calls out, summoning 4 black lightning panthers to attack Satsuki. clearly, he was trying to end this quickly.Satsuki smirked. over the past month, she had discovered her elemental affinity, and it suddenly became clear why she had so much trouble using Kaiton. she had a strong affinity to Fuiton, so much so that the wind she manipulated with her chakra shimmered with a golden shine. Asuma Sarutobi, her teacher in all things Fuiton, dubbed this as her Kogane no Fuiton.she unsheathed her Katana, a gift from Naruto, and channeled her wind through it, causing it to glitter with golden sparkles "Kogane no Fuiton: Hikaru ha!" she slashed through the approaching panthers, easily ripping them to shreds due to the elemental advantage. Darui grit his teeth in irritation, unsheathing his own sword and channeling black lightning through it.Naruto looked on with a smirk. Yugito looked at him strangely"Darui is one of Kumo's most promising Gennin. i dont know what you're smirking at, your teammate is losing this match." Yugito warns, but Naruto's grin only grow's larger"Satsuki Uchiha. i discovered her special talent during one particularly nasty bandit extermination mission. its not her golden wind, its her incredible talent for Chakra manipulation. that is, not only can she make Jutsu with one hand sign, she can do two at the same time." Naruto reveals, causing Yugito's eyes to widen"still, i dont think that will help her against Darui." Yugito declares, but Naruto just laughs"you have faith in your teammate, i have faith in mine. that blade she's using, i forged it for her." Naruto says, looking at the said blade. it was very ornate looking, with a golden hilt that extended up the blade in a fire-like pattern with stars running past the flames onto a long, ivory blade. the hilt itself had a golden gem in it that seemed to encase a tornado "thats the finest chakra blade you'll find out there, made out of an alloy of Suna's famous Ivory steal and chakra metal from my summons realm.""how does that help her exactly?" Yugito asks, though she was intrigued that this boy could have made such a sword"it can rend chakra like a hot knife through lukewarm butter. any Jutsu your teammate could send at her will be shredded." Naruto explains "and as if that wasn't enough, well, just look for yourself." he says and Yugito looks down at the match.Satsuki had sheathed her sword and was going through two sets of one handed hand signs at the same time. when she was finished, she shouted "Kogane no Fuiton + Kaiton: Idaina kogane no hinotama!" and shot out a massive golden fire ball, easily three times the size of a tree. Darui barely evaded it with a few singed hairs"i-i surrender! this girl is way too troublesome for me!" Darui was huddling in the fetal position with his hands on his head. in that fire ball, he saw death."really? i just enhanced a Kaiton Jutsu with my Kogane no Fuiton. was it really that devastating..?" Satsuki asked, before seeing that a sizable hole in the arena wall, that was heavily enhanced with Fuinjutsu, had been burned through "ohhh... yeah, i guess i went a little overboard, huh? Naruto, think you can fix that?" she shouted, and Naruto just sighed, lifting his hand. the hole in the wall glowed green, before seemingly reforming from the ash. even the Fuinjutsu was perfectly remade.Rasa(?) was incredibly shocked, that Fuinjutsu was made by Lady Mito. not only was it rendered useless, but it was reformed with such ease."...WINNER! SATSUKI UCHIHA!!" Genma shouts after a slight suspenseful pause, causing the crowd to cheer wildly "now, I'm sure the competitors are low on chakra, and some want to visit their comrades in the hospital. we'll pick things back up tomorrow since its getting rather late. good night, and I'll see you tomorrow!"as the crowd slowly started to filter out of the arena, Naruto met up with Satsuki. they were going to go check up on their comrades in the hospital, and Satsuki didn't want to walk, so Naruto simply opened a door and it lead to the hospital lobby"that ability of yours never fails to amaze me.. how did you say it worked again?" Satsuki asks as they cross the door"its quite simple, really. i take the distance between the two doors and reduce it to zero, making it seem like one door leads to another destination. i can also achieve this without a door, but using a door allows for me to make a sort of portal that will last longer and be able to used more times." Naruto explains, but Satsuki is just left confused"...can you maybe dumb it down a bit?" she requests after getting directions to Yakumo's room".. 'sigh', that was the dumbed down version. lets see... i take two locations and move them together temporarily, so its like teleporting." Naruto attempts to dumb it down further, and it seems to work as Yakumo makes a face of understanding"i.. think i understand. we're here." Satsuki says, turning to open the door to Yakumo's room. inside, they find Yakumo, slightly bandaged with an IV bag attached to her"..hey, Satsuki-chan, Naruto-kun.." she mumbles, slowly opening her eyes"hey, Yakumo. how are you feeling?" Naruto asks, sitting down on a chair on one side of the bed while Satsuki takes one on the other side"other than a few bruises and cracked ribs, i have chakra exhaustion. that IV bag is infused with a special blend similar to the contents of a soldier pill, but made safe for liquid injection. though its watered down, so i don't think I'll be able to see you're matches tomorrow, assuming you won, Satsuki-chan." Yakumo explains, weakly gesturing to said IV bag"i see. that should help you recover faster. Satsuki did win, easily at that. you should have seen that Darui guy's face when that giant golden fire ball was heading his way! priceless." Naruto laughs, and Yakumo and Satsuki join in"i burned a hole through the arena wall! the guy was definitely afraid for a valid reason!" Satsuki boasts.the trio continued to talk until Naruto and Satsuki were kicked out because it was past visiting time.
