* THE NIGHT BEFORE SCHOOL AT THE GRANT-NASH HOUSEHOLD * “Harry do you have your outfit picked out for school tomorrow!?” Athena yelled from the kitchenharry came running downstairs to the kitchen. “hey mom did you call me?” Harry asked.“yea i was asking if you had your outfit picked out for school tomorrow”. it didnt even make sense how many scars she had on her body. the biggest one she had was on her back she got it from her dad burning her. but it was so unique it looked like a very detailed butterfly wing. when she was older she planned on getting the other side tatted and then it would REALLY look like a butterfly. she also had hyperpigmentation all over her ribs that was from her father kicking her so many times. she started crying even harder when a flash back came.* FLASH BACK *

(bad idea) she heard her father’s footsteps. “ where da fuck did ya go bitch” anthony said. he suddenly saw her out the corner of his eye. “GOTCHA” anthony grabbed the boiling water off the stove and threw it onto her back. “AHHHHHHHHHHHH” aliyah let out a blood curdling scream. anthony ran over to her and started kicking her with all his strength. aliyah couldn’t even scream thats how bad it hurt. she was curled up in a ball crying. and suddenly the flashback was over because thats all aliyah could remember. aliyah went to the bathroom and looked at herself. her face was puffy because she had been crying so much. so she splashed freezing cold water onto her face. then she dried her face with a towel. she walked back to her room. she put her headphones on and played a sleeping music playlist. she was exhausted from all the crying. eventually she fell asleep.aliyah wondered if her father did this all because she was a girl…. she would never know.

* the morning of the grant-nash house hold * athena woke up at about 5:30 so she could make breakfast for her babies, she couldn’t believe her children were getting so big may was going to 10th grade, and harry was going to 8th. athena eventually got up and made her side of the bed. bobby was still sleeping. they had a time last night. she walked over to her dresser and put on a red long sleeve shirt and some black jeans. she brushed her teeth quickly, and then she sneaked out of the bedroom so she wouldn't wake her sleeping husband.athena brewed some coffee, she decided to make some pancakes, eggs and some bacon. she mixed up the pancake batter and added a little bit of vanilla extract. (her secret ingredient) she poured perfect circles into her cast iron skillet. she put the pancakes on low heat and got started on the eggs. the eggs didn’t take that long so after she was done with that she put the bacon on a baking tray and put it in the oven. once all the food was done she made everyones plate. she poured coffee for herself and bobby, then she poured orange juice for harry and apple for may.she finished the food at about 6:00 the perfect time to wake her babies up. they had to be at school by 7:50. she went to harry's room first because she knew he would be the easiest to wake up. she went up the stairs and opened harry’s door. “wake up harry time for school” athena said as she shook him three times. “mornin mom” harry said in a raspy sleepy voice. “morning baby” athena replied. as she walked out and turned the light on so harry wouldn’t fall back asleep.she walked down the hallway to mays room. “baby girl wake up its time for school” athena said as she took the covers off may. she heard may groan “ mhmmm 5 more minutes please” athena replied saying “no you need to wake up now your brothers already awake”. may started whining “mooomm”
athena started to get frustrated. “may get up im not gonna play these games with you” mays eyes snapped opened. she finally woke up and walked into her bathroom.athena knew her attitude would be gone by time she came downstairs. when she walked pass harry's room she saw him putting his clothes on. “you look nice harry” he had a white polo shirt on with some black jeans and his white retro Jordan 4’s. “thanks mom” he put his gold chain on his father bought him about 2 years ago.she went downstairs and was about to set the table for everyone but bobby had woke up and did it already. “awwh thank you baby” then bobby got up from the table and gave athena a kiss. “your welcome thena” athena smiled she loved that nickname. she sat down with bobby and waited for the kids to come eat.5 minutes later may and harry came downstairs. may was wearing a pink shirt and some blue jeans with her pink dunks. “ yall look nice” bobby said. may and harry smiled. “thanks pops” they said in unison. athena smiled at this small interaction with bobby and her kids sometimes she couldn’t believe she got so lucky. “okay guys hurry up and eat yall dont wanna be late right?”. the kids hurriedly ate their food because it was getting close to the time they were supposed to be at school. (it was 7:30). a few minutes later they put their dishes in the sink. bobby said he would wash them when they came back. “lets go we finna be late” athena kinda yelled… *meanwhile at the andersons*everyone woke up super late (7:00). ashley ran up the stairs and barged into aliyahs room first “wake up baby we’re gonna be late!” ashley yelled.
aliyah popped right up out of her bed she was so scared she thought it was her dad once again. “jesus you scared me”. ashley ran out of the room to go wake up andrew “ sorry baby girl” ashley said as she ran out. ashley tapped andrew about 7 times before he woke up “lets go andrew were gonna be late”. ashley ran back to her room to hurry up and get dressed. she put on some black sweats and a black shirt. she paired the outfit up with her panda dunks.aliyah quickly washed her face and brushed her teeth. she put on a white tight fitted shirt with some blue loose fitted jeans that had a few holes in them. she put her nike socks on really fast then put her white retro jordan 4’s on. she took her bonnet off and put her hair in a side part. she had dreads that stopped mid back. she paired the outfit with her gold jewelry. then she went downstairs to make herself a bowl of cereal.their mom was waiting for them in the kitchen. “wheres your brother?” ashley asked. “ uhmm hes still getting dressed” aliyah replied with her mouth full with frosted flakes. “ oh okay he needa hurry up - you look cute honey”. aliyahs mom said when she finally saw what she was wearing. 10 seconds later andrew came downstairs he was wearing his black essentials tracksuit and his asics.“ you look fly andrew” aliyah said. andrew looked at aliyah's outfit and said “ you too sis - mom are u gonna eat anything?”. he said as he poured some cereal. he was wondering why is mother wasn’t eating anything. “ nahh im not hungry - yall ready to go?” ashley said. “yea lets go” the kids say in unison. they put their dishes in the sink and walk out the door. ashley made sure to lock the door. ashley had a jeep and today she took the roof off and the doors.*at may’s school*the grant-nash household pulled up before the Anderson’s, but you could hear the andersons before u could see them. ashley was blasting still feel me by jadakis. she turned it down to a reasonable volume when she pulled up in the parent drop off line. “why was there music so loud” may said with a laugh. “ forreal ” athena replied. andrew stepped out of the car before may did. “mom thats the tracksuit i wanted” harry said as he pointed at andrew.“oh alright ill see if they have your size” athena replied to her son. “may before you leave let me get some pictures” athena said. both her kids groaned at the same time. “okayyy” they said in unison. they both got out the car at the same time. they both posed for the pictures together. after athena got some she liked bobby and athena waved goodbye and then drove to harry's school. it was 7:45. harry’s school was only 3 minutes away from the high school anyway. this time the andersons were there first.bobby, Athena and harry pulled up a minute after them. aliyah stepped out the car before harry. and as soon as harry saw her his face turned red. he was blushing so hard. “mom pops mom pops” harry said as he shook his parents shoulders. “LOOK AT HER - oh my goodness shes so pretty”. harry was smiling so childishly. “awwh she is pretty” athena said. bobby then said “yea harry she looks like a nice girl”. harry didnt know how he could be so attracted to a girl he never even met before.“i think shes new” harry said not recognizing this girl. “okay let me take some pictures of you before you leave”. athena said. harry posed for a couple pictures then walked into the building. “ byee harry” bobby and athena said at the same time as they pulled off, harry was upset his mom made him miss the chance to walk with this girl.aliyah was walking up the stairs about to walk in the building but harry caught up to her. “hey you” aliyah turned around and she saw the most adorable eyes looking at her. “hi?” aliyah said. “oh my god hes so cuteeee” aliyah said in her head. “im harry whats your name?”. harry said.
“gosh shes so beautiful” harry said in his head. “oh um my names aliyah”. aliyah was blushing but not as hard as harry. “ hi aliyah thats a nice name do you know where your classes are?” harry asked. “no i dont can u show me?” aliyah asked. “OF COURSE I’LL SHOW YOU” harry said in his head. “ yea i’ll show you let me see your schedule”.Aliyah handed him her schedule and she could only hope she had at least one class with this boy. “no wayyy we have all our classes together”. harry said in amazement. “your playinggg.” aliyah said not fully believing him. “im seriousss come on follow me before were late” harry said. “okay” aliyah said following him down the hallway. “sooo are you new? harry asked wanting to know more about this beautiful girl. “yea i am can you tell..” harry laughed “yes i can tell”. aliyah laughed also. harry thought that was the most beautiful sound ever. “i like your shoes” aliyah said. “ harry looked down at her feet to see what type of shoes she had on. when he saw they had the same shoes he laughed even more.“i like yours too” harry said. they kept walking until they finally got to their destination. “okay were here this is mrs gray shes a science teacher - i had her last year shes kinda annoying” harry said as they walked into the classroom. “where do u wanna sit?” harry asked aliyah. “lets sit at the back lab table” aliyah replied. “lead the way” harry said. aliyah blushed at his words.“SO TODAY CLASS WERE NOT GONNA BE REALLY DOING ANYTHING THERES A FEW COLORING SHEETS IN THE FRONT OF THE CLASS. THERES MARKERS AND CRAYONS ALSO. DO WHAT U WANT JUST DONT BOTHER ME” Mrs gray yelled.“oh gosh is she always this loud?” aliyah asked harry. “yea pretty much.” harry said with a laugh. “yea no” aliyah said. that caused harry to giggle.
“whats so funny bruh..” aliyah asked wondering why he kept laughing. “nothing harry replied. harry was admiring the girl sitting next to him. he hoped she didnt notice him keep looking at her. (she did) aliyah was almost the same height as harry but harry liked taller girls. she was slim thick but more on the slim side. she was brownskin, 5’6 and harry was 5’7.“how long have you been growing your hair?” harry asked. aliyah looked at him and said “what if it was fake?” with a small grin on her face. harrys face changed so quickly. “oh u-uhm i didnt think about that.. is it fake..” harry asked hoping that she wasn’t about to get mad. aliyah laughed “no its real ive been growing it for almost 5 years.” harry blushed some more. “its really nice i like it” harry said. aliyah started to blush really hard.“thank you i like your fade”. harry smiled “thank you - how do you know what that is?”. aliyah rolled her eyes “i have a brother - do you have any siblings?” aliyah asked harry. harry smiled thinking about may “yea i have a sister do you have any more siblings other then your brother?”. harry asked aliyah genuinely interested. aliyah smiled thinking about her brother “nope just my brother”.harry and aliyah ended up talking for the entire class they didnt even bother getting a coloring sheet like mrs gray suggested. one thing for sure these two teenagers definitely had chemistry. harry loved aliyah’s voice and aliyah loved harry’s voice. there little chat was disrupted when the bell went off…

when the bell went off aliyah asked harry “okay what class do we have next?”. harry motioned towards the schedule in aliyah’s hand. she handed the piece of paper to him. harry skimmed over it. “hmmm i dont know these teachers it says we have mr smith hes a math teacher”. harry said with an annoyed expression. aliyah noticed his face and asked him “do you not like math?” she said with a small laugh. harry replied saying “omg i hate math but lets go before were late”. the two teenagers started to walk to their next class. “do you like math?”. harry asked. aliyah side eyed him.“oh no i hate math im so bad at it”. aliyah said a little embarrassed about her terrible math skills. “me too but we’ll get thru it together”. harry said.
aliyah started to blush “so if i dont know something you’ll help me right”. aliyah said with a grin. harry smiled and said “yea of course but only if you’ll help me too - okay were here room C234”. harry said as they arrived at mr smith’s classroom.“hello you two must be harry and aliyah” mr smith said while crossing their name out on a piece of paper. “hi” harry and aliyah said in unison.
“lets sit in the back”. Aliyah said. harry was curious about why she liked sitting in the back. “why do you like sitting in the back?”. harry asked.“uhmm so people wont talk to me and they’ll leave me alone - do you wanna sit somewhere else?”. harry replied saying “no i don't mind i was just asking”. harry said. aliyah just nodded.okay guys i wanna just ask a couple math questions that everyone should already know. mr smith said. aliyah sighed and quietly said “oh gosh here we go its the first day and were already doing math”. harry looked at her and said “exactly like come on bro”.“okay does anyone know the square root of one hundred and sixty nine?” mr smith asked the class. a kid named alex raised his hand and said “12?”
mr smith replied saying “not quite… aliyah do you know?” aliyah could not believe her luck. “ uhmm is the answer 13?” aliyah said.“CORRECT” mr smith said as he threw a lollipop at aliyah. aliyah caught the lollipop with one hand. “good catch” harry said. aliyah smiled and then looked at the flavor of her lollipop it was grape and she hated grape stuff. “here you can have it” she slides the lollipop to harry. harry made a face of disgust. “ew i don't want that”. harry said.aliyah started laughing “ you don't like grape?”. aliyah said with a amused expression. “ no i hateee grape”. harry replied. aliyah gasped and said “me toooo”. aliyah whispered to Alex once she got his attention she threw her lollipop at him. Alex mouthed a thank you and aliyah mouthed your welcome.“okay last question class” mr smith said. “ what is thirteen times twenty three?”. harry raised his hand and said “299?” he just guessed that. “CORRECT” mr smith replied he threw a fruit punch lollipop at harry. harry didn't catch it tho. aliyah started giggling. “shush” harry said while picking up his lollipop. “here you can have it” harry said with a smile. “thanks” aliyah said. aliyah took the lollipop from harry’s hand and when their hands brushed against each other they both felt electricity shoot up their arm. aliyah put the lollipop in her book bag.“your welcome” harry said. nobody mentioned anything. they both felt it but just kept it to themselves. “okay class yall can do whatever yall want - if yall have anything questions feel free to ask”. mr smith said.“so whats your favorite color?”. harry asked aliyah. “my favorite color is pink what about you?” aliyah said. “mines is blue - whats your favorite food?”. harry asked another question. “my favorite food is tacos what about you?”. aliyah replied. harry gasped “mines too!”. aliyah giggled at his gasp. “so are you from La?” aliyah asked.“yup i’ve lived here my entire life” harry said proudly. “are you from La?” harry suddenly asked. “nope i just moved here last week - im from new jersey.” aliyah said proudly. harry looked shocked and then said “why’d you move all the way over here?” aliyah looked a little sad and disappointed she moved here because her parents divorced but of course she wouldn’t tell harry that so she just said her mom got a job offer. it wasn’t exactly the truth but it wasn't a lie either.“did you like living in jersey?”. harry asked. aliyah smiled at the thought of her hometown. “yes i did but my mom said we will go back and visit from time to time”. harry nodded and asked another question “so whens your birthday?” Aliyah replied and said “July 22nd” harry gasped even louder than his last gasp “no way mines is July 23rd!” harry whispered yelled. aliyah looked shocked “oh my goodness no wayyy”aliyah said. harry smiled and said “i know right!”*7 class periods later* 2:55 pm.“wow the day went by so quickly” aliyah said to harry as they started to walk out of the school. “ i know right - but i cant believe mrs gray already gave us a science project” harry said. he was so annoyed he had a project to do. “right! but at least we can work together plus its just a volcano that should be easy lowkey”. aliyah said. harry smiled and said “yea and i'm glad your my partner”. aliyah blushed and said “me too its gonna be so fun”.they finally got out the building and were instantly greeted with the bright La sunshine. “damn its hot” harry said as he gently pulled on his shirt. aliyah replied with “right! is it always so hot?”. she was lowkey annoyed she didn't like being hot. harry laughed and said “yea but you’ll get used to it in about a month”. aliyah rolled her eyes.bobby and athena were waiting in the parking pick up line they had already picked up may. may spotted her brother talking to a girl. “look harry’s talking to a girl - and she’s really pretty”. may said to her parents. bobby and athena looked out the car window bobby recognized the girl. “ ohh its the girl from this morning i think he has a small crush on her already..” bobby said. athena smiled at her son talking to this girl. “ i mean shes a pretty girl no wonder harry would like her”.harry and aliyah approached athena’s red SUV. “hey guys this is my friend aliyah shes new - aliyah this is my mom athena, this is my step dad bobby and thats my sister may i told you about.” aliyah looked into the car and waved to everyone. “hello” aliyah said politely. may, bobby and athena waved back at her. “your very pretty aliyah” athena complemented aliyah. “thank you mrs nash” aliyah said. athena was shocked that aliyah didnt call her mrs grant. “i told her you changed your last name mom” harry said seeing his mom shocked expression. “oh okay” athena said with a slight laugh.athena told aliyah that she could call her athena. aliyah insisted on called her mrs nash tho. she didn’t feel comfortable calling an adult by there first name. she felt as if it was disrespectful. athena was sure she would warm up to her tho. Ashley suddenly pulled up blasting music per usual this time she was playing half crazy by musiq soulchild. “oh my god bro why is the music so loud”. aliyah said with a laugh. may noticed it was the same lady from this morning. “is that your mom?”. may asked.aliyah looked her and nodded. “i gotta go harry bye everyone it was nice to meet you guys”. aliyah started to walk to her moms car. harry suddenly called her name. “ALIYAH! come back real quick.” aliyah turned around and started to walk back to harry. “yes?” she asked. aliyah wondered why harry was calling her. harry started to blush and get shy. “u-uhm do you think i could have your number- i like to call my friends”. may smiled at her brother being so awkward. athena and bobby watched him also.aliyah started to smile “so now we’re friends?” harry’s facial expressions changed so quickly he thought she was gonna say no. “oh uhh um only if you wanna be my friend”. aliyah smiled at his sudden shyness. she started to laugh “i'm just messing with you harry its 862-543-1845” aliyah said. harry quickly typed her number into his phone. “wait don't you want mine..?”. harry was confused.“text me and then i’ll have it” aliyah smiled and walked away and got into her moms car. harry was just staring at her walking away. he thought she was so beautiful. “come on harry!” may said interrupting his thoughts. harry was so happy he got a girls number. “ i cant believe i got her number..” harry say out loud. “how do you already have a crush on the first day of school..?” may asked. bobby and athena laughed at mays comment.“i mean look at her shes pretty and shes smart anyone would like her”. athena said. may smiled “y'all are cute i guess.” athena pulled off and started asking her children about the their first day.harry definitely had a good first day..

when aliyah got in the car her mom asked “so how was the first day - you make any friends?” aliyah smiled at the thought of harry. “yea i made a new friend you saw that boy i was talking to?” aliyah said. aliyah waited for her mom to nod before speaking again. once her mom nodded she began talking.“hes my new friend his names harry.” aliyah said. ashley looked over at her daughter from the drivers seat and saw she was blushing while she talked about this boy so she HAD to ask this question. “you think he cute?…”. ashley asked. aliyah started smiling even harder. “yea he’s pretty cute and hes nice”. aliyah said hesitantly. ashley smiled at her daughter. she thought it was cute her daughter had a crush.ashley pulled up to andrew's school. andrew got in the car and told aliyah and his mom all about his day. he had a good day also.the family of 3 finally arrived home. when aliyah walked into her house she saw her mom had bought a living room set and a dining table. she also mounted the living room tv on the wall. aliyah was shocked because her mother didn’t mention getting furniture.“you did all this while we were at school?” aliyah and andrew asked at the same time. ashley smiled at her children that said “yea i did yall like it?”. with a slight laugh.andrew walked over to the couch and sat down on it. “yeaaa this is comfortable” andrew said. aliyah and ashley laughed. “okay i went grocery shopping to what yall want for dinner tonight?”. aliyah suddenly said “TACOS!”. andrew and ashley laughed at aliyah’s response. ashley replied saying “tacos it is”.andrew and aliyah went upstairs to their rooms to do whatever. aliyah took her book bag off. she also took her pants off. she then laid down in her bed. she suddenly got a text message she was hoping it was harry. Aliyah said. “yessss were sure” athena said laughing.harry and may got in the car and harry requested that bobby play best friend by 50 cent. “oooo i like this song” Aliyah said while singing along to the lyrics. “ you do?” harry asked. aliyah nodded. the suddenly aliyah said “OH we needa take some pictures” she pulled out her phone and took some pictures with harry.one photo they were side eyeing each other. in another one they both stuck there tongues out. and on the last one they both smiled. harry loved them. “send those to me” harry whispered in aliyah’s ear. he whispered in her ear because the music was so loud. aliyah blushed as soon as he did that. his breath against her ear made her feel some type of way.“okay” aliyah whispered back to him. harry started to blush. bobby saw this interaction out of the rear view mirror. and shook athena’s shoulder and pointed at them. she glanced at them and athena swore her heart melted. they were so cute athena thought. they finally arrived at harry’s house.harry opened the car door for aliyah and aliyah was so shocked nobody ever did that for her before. “thank you harry” aliyah said. “no problem” harry said. athena saw this interaction she was so proud of harry for being such a gentleman.they walked into the house and immediately went to the dining table to work on their project. “we wont bother you guys” bobby said as him and athena sat down on the couch. both kids nodded.harry started working on the shape of the volcano, he was making it out of cardboard, clay and newspaper. it was looking really good so far. “ good job harry” aliyah said while mixing up the concoction of dish soap, water and vinegar. “thanks aliyah” harry replied.once harry was done building the volcano aliyah started to paint it, she was doing an amazing job and harry noticed a focused look on aliyah’s face she got when she painted. it made her look even more beautiful harry thought. he was staring at her but Aliyah didn’t notice.may came down the stairs and said “oh hey guys i didnt hear yall come home”. (she didnt have school today)athena looked up at her daughter from the couch and said “oh hey babygirl we came in probably about 30 minutes ago”. may looked shocked, how could she not have heard them. “wheres harry?” may said. athena pointed at the dining table. may then walked over there to see what he was doing. “oh hey aliyah i didn't know you were coming over”. may said shocked. aliyah was so focused on painting she barely heard may “hey… may”. aliyah said still not paying attention.may noticed her brother staring at aliyah but she didnt say anything about it. she would definitely tease him about it later tho may thought to herself as she walked back to her room. an hour later they finished the project. it looked really good. “ mom come look were done!” harry said. athena walked over to the table “wow guys this looks really good!” athena said genuinely. “thanks athena” aliyah said. athena noticed she said her first name she was lowkey happy. “let me take some pictures of you guys”. they put the volcano in the middle of them. aliyah was on the right and harry was on the left.they both smiled. they were really proud of their work. once athena got a few pictures she left them alone.“lets play fortnite now i wanna see if your good or not..” harry teased aliyah. aliyah raised her perfectly arched eyebrows at harry “okay bet lets play” aliyah said.they played boxed fights for about 2 hours before harry eventually gave up. “oh my god your so good bruh how!!” harry said shocked. aliyah laughed “man idk i play a lot with my brother”. Aliyah said.suddenly aliyah's phone chimed with a text message from her mom saying “im outside baby” Aliyah looked a little disappointed she had to leave she was having a good time. it was kinda late tho. (10 pm)“my moms here harry i gotta go” aliyah said as she put her shoes on. “byee aliyah i had fun with you” harry said. aliyah smiled “me too - bye bobby and athena thanks for having me” aliyah said. bobby and athena smiled “anytime sweetie” athena said. harry put his slides on and he saw Aliyah’s confused face.“ima walk you out” harry said as if that was obvious. aliyah smiled “okay” she said. harry walked her down the driveway. “liyah” harry said. aliyah looked up at him and said “yes?” harry was just staring at her and then suddenly gave her a hug. he wrapped his arms around her waist and she wrapped her arms around his neck.
Ashley saw this and her heart melted.
they hugged for about 7 seconds. harry didn’t wanna let her go. she smelled so good like vanilla mixed with coco butter.aliyah smiled at harry when he finally let her go “have a goodnight harry i’ll text you when i get home” she said while walking away.“bye liyah” harry said breathlessly.athena and bobby saw them out the window “awwhhh” the couple said in unison. they saw harry was about to turn around so they scrambled out of the window. one thing for sure harry was definitely in love.

when aliyah got home she told her mom about her project and showed her pictures.she also took a long steamy shower, then she texted harry for a little bit before she accidentally fell asleep on him.aliyah suddenly woke up in a cold sweat she had yet another nightmare. she grabbed her phone off the charger to check the time. it was 2:09am she also had 4 missed messages from harry.harry💙: liyah?harry:💙 aliyah you there?harry💙: did you fall asleep on me lolharry💙 well goodnight liyah sleep well , text me when you wake upshe didn't have time to read them she was so overwhelmed with the thoughts that were going through her head. she kept having these silly nightmares about her father finding her, she tried to believe her father wouldn't be able to find her again, but there was still this voice in the back of her head saying that he was gonna find her and harm her.she tried to control her tears, but she wasn’t strong enough to. the tears started flowing uncontrollably. aliyah had to be quiet tho she didn’t wanna worry her family. aliyah wanted to tell someone SOO bad, but she couldn’t bring herself to do it.
then aliyah started to have another flash back..*FLASH BACK*
3 years ago, a month before her parents divorce.
aliyah was home alone once again with her dad this time they were eating dinner at the table together. she finished before her dad she got up to put her dish in the sink. what aliyah didn't know is that she spilled some of her rice on the table.she was washing her dishes when her father suddenly appeared in the doorway. “you spilled some rice on the table aliyah” Anthony said in a low voice.
aliyah looked up at her father and he looked really scary. his eyes were so dark. aliyah tried to hardest not to piss him off but she failed..“o-oh i’m s-sorry daddy i’ll clean it up after i'm done i promise” aliyah said in a scared voice.
Anthony ran to her and was about to lean down to her level but before he could say anything aliyah flinched at the sudden movement. and that was the worse thing aliyah could’ve done. Anthony started yelling at her.“ARE YOU SCARED OF ME?!!?” Anthony yelled.him yelling only made her flinch more. imagine a 6’4 man who's 280 pounds leaning over a 90 pound 10 year old who was only 5 feet..“n-n-no daddy i just don't like when you yell”. aliyah said. (another bad idea) Anthony picked up aliyah and then slammed her onto the ground.“WELL YOU BETTER GET USED TO ME YELLING YOU LITTLE ANNOYING BRAT!!” Anthony screamed. aliyah was now crying because of the impact when she hit the ground hurt her ribs. she was curled up in a ball.Anthony grabbed a glass plate out of the sink and then threw it at her. the glass shattered all over the floor. it cut her ribs deeply. aliyah was sobbing on the floor. she just wanted her dad to love her.“NOW GET THE FUCK UP AND CLEAN ALL OF THIS UP!” Anthony yelled. aliyah thought he was done torturing her but nope.Anthony knelt down beside her and pulled her hair towards his face. aliyah hissed trying to be quiet. “YOU are the reason me and your mother are getting divorced i hate you with a passion if i could kill you i would”. Anthony said in a deadly low voice.
he then pushed her head into the floor. finally he left the kitchen and passed out on the couch.aliyah stayed there for about 2 mins just in case her father wasn’t actually sleep. aliyah cleaned everything up including herself.she had to make sure everything looked normal for when her mom came home.
then the flashback ended. aliyah was crying even harder than before, she just wanted for the nightmares to stop. she eventually cried herself to sleep

she and harry were getting along really well, she enjoyed his company and she felt like she could trust him. in these 2 months she learned a lot about harry. she knew his father Michael was gay. aliyah didn't look at harry differently because of that. to be honest she didn’t even really care. he told her about the time he got kidnapped. he told her pretty much everything about him.even athena and ashley became friends. athena saw ashley in the parent drop off line and she decided to talk to her. she invited ashley over for drinks and the rest is history.but harry didn’t know much about aliyah. he noticed she never brought up her father. she only talked about her brother and mom. harry wanted to know more than that. so on some random Saturday night he was texting her and decided to ask…harry 💙: so aliyah you know so much about me but i realized i don't really know much about you, i want you to tell me about your dad. i've told you about mines. so i would like it if you told me about yours. i mean you don't HAVE to but i would like if you did. but whatever you tell me you know i wont judge you for it. i promise.aliyah: oh.. um ill tell you in one second.aliyah got up from the couch and went upstairs to her room. she knew she was gonna cry when talking about her father so she went to her room so nobody would see.aliyah: okay im back, the reason i dont really talk about my dad is because he used to abuse me when it was just me and him home. but its okay because i haven’t seen him in 3 years almost 4. plus im happy he did those things to me because it made me tough lol. anyways he would burn me with boiling water. kick me. slap me. all of the above.aliyah: by the way NOBODY KNOWS about this. not even my family your the first person to know so promise you wont tell anyone.aliyah: man it feels so good to get this off my chest.harry stared down at the messages in shock. his heart broke for aliyah. how could such a beautiful girl have gone through something so cruel. he was angry. he was angry at aliyah’s father for doing those things to her. he was angry at aliyah for not telling anyone. he was feeling a lot of emotions.
he couldn’t keep this to himself though he HAD to tell athena.after all athena was a cop. harry knew his mom would find the man who did this to his sweet girl. athena had solved many cases. he wondered if he she could solve the case even though what happened to her happened so many years ago in new jersey. harry sent a message to aliyah.harry💙: aww im so sorry your dad did those things to you, i would kill him if i could. i promise i wont tell anyone. when harry took so long to respond aliyah thought he was judging her.aliyah: nobody can beat him harry 😭 he's to strong.aliyah: lets talk about something else.harry💙: okay ima facetime you.they ended up facetiming. but all harry could think about was telling athena…

aliyah and harry ended up staying on the phone for about 2 hours. but Aliyah had to hang up because she had chores to do.“harry i gotta go do chores i’ll call you back okay?” aliyah said.“okay liyah thats fine talk to you later” harry said before he hung up.when harry hung up he went downstairs to find his parents. he walked down the stairs and saw athena bobby and may playing uno at the dining room table. “wowww so yall playing uno without me?” harry said. he wasn’t really upset he was just messing around. he would rather be on to phone with aliyah then play uno. “we didnt wanna disrupt your call with aliyah plus were almost done anyway” may replied.“i was just playing if yall would of asked i most likely would’ve said no” harry said with a slight laugh.athena watched her son he seemed a little nervous as if he wanted to say something. “are u okay harry?” athena asked. harry looked at her and looked even more nervous than before. that was a clear sign he had something to say. “uhm i-i need to tell you guys something - well more so mom but i’ll tell you guys too… it was supposed to be a secret and i promised not to tell anyone. but i cant keep this a secret…” harry said nervously.athena and bobby started to get worried. “what happened bud tell us” bobby said. “yea baby u can tell us” athena said not to much longer after bobby. may looked at her brother and said “whats wrong is someone messing with you. harry sat down at the table and said. “ no everything is fine with me its about.. aliyah she told me something about her past and its really bad like you never would’ve thought something like that happened to her”harry was so sad about the whole situation. he was also disappointed. disappointed in aliyah for not speaking up about it earlier. harry told his sister and parents everything that aliyah told him, the uno game was long gone as soon as harry told them. harry felt so bad about telling them after promising not too but he had to tell SOMEONE. he wanted to help aliyah.after harry was done explaining everyone at the table looked really sad. may was the first to talk “oh my goodness why didn’t she say anything to anyone”. mays heart broke for aliyah. may liked aliyah a lot. their friendship was going good so far, aliyah was like a little sister to may.bobby suddenly spoke “ thats so messed up what type of father does that to their OWN daughter. bobby was very upset he could imagine doing something like that to may. “babe can you do something like do some background research on her dad - anything! idk” bobby blurted out.athena looked at her husband “i’ll see what i can do but i cant believe my girl went through something so traumatic. athena said. athena would NEVER treat her child like that .“we should invite her to dinner and ask her about it im sure she wont be too upset you told us.” may suddenly said. harry looked skeptical he could only hope she wouldn’t be mad. “thats fine ask her if she can come over for dinner harry i’ll even drop her off back home” athena said. harry looked excited he liked when aliyah would come over. he hoped they would have a good time.harry went upstairs to text aliyah.harry: hey liyah are you done with your chores?my sweet girl 🩶: hey harry! yea im done why?harry: my mom said you can come over for dinner she also said she would drop u off back home.my sweet girl 🩶: uhmm yea sure my mom said thats fine, shes about to leave with Andrew so my mom asked if i could come over now?harry: let me go ask my mom real quickharry went downstairs to the kitchen and saw his mom and stepdad prepping dinner. they were making tacos. “mom pops? aliyah asked if she could come over right now.” harry suddenly spoke. athena and bobby spoke at the same time saying “thats fine”. “thanks guys!” harry said running out of the kitchen and back upstairs. bobby and athena laughed at harry’s behavior. “i'm worried about how this dinners gonna go” athena said suddenly. bobby stopped cutting up the lettuce and looked at his wife. “why baby?” he then asked. athena replied with “i don't know i just have a feeling”.“everything should be fine my love don't worry” bobby said trying to calm athena's nerves. athena just nodded she still was worried tho.harry finally got back to his room and texted Aliyah back.harry: they said thats finemy sweet girl🩶: okay! ill see you soon harry.aliyah was excited to go harry’s house she loved spending time over there but aliyah had a small voice in the back of her head saying “he definitely told his mom but don’t panic”. aliyah shoved that thought out of her head immediately. she trusted harry with this secret. little did she know..“aliyah hurry up!” ashley yelled from downstairs. aliyah hurried up and threw her crocs on. “coming!” aliyah yelled from her room. she ran down the stairs and saw her mom and brother waiting for her at the door. “took you long enough” Andrew said annoyed. aliyah rolled her eyes “i'm sorry bruh” she said.Andrew was going to a sleepover with his new friends he met at school. and ashley was going to work that meant aliyah would be home by herself when she came back from harry’s house. aliyah didn’t mind tho.the family walked out the door. aliyah was the last one out so she locked the door. “do you got your key?” ashley suddenly asked. aliyah nodded.
they got in the car and drove to harry’s house.8 minutes later they arrived. as aliyah was getting out she said bye to her mom and brother. they said bye back then ashley pulled off. aliyah walked up the driveway and knocked on the door.“i’ll get it!” harry said. he walked to the front door and opened it. his face instantly lit up when he saw aliyah. “hey liyah im glad you could come” harry said. aliyah smiled “hey harry” she said. harry suddenly gave aliyah a hug. he wrapped his arms around her waist. aliyah wrapped her arms around his neck. it was even better then the hug they shared the other night.harry released her and said “you smell really good liyah” harry loved the smell of her. Aliyah blushed and said “thank you harry”.they finally walked into the house. “what did your mom make for dinner?” aliyah said curiously. harry smiled and suddenly whispered in her ear “your favorite”. aliyah shivered when he did that. little did they know this would be their last good interaction for a while.as they walked down the stairs they saw may bobby and athena sitting at the table. “ hey aliyah!” the three of them said. they didn’t forget about what harry said. they all looked at aliyah and she looked completely normal from the outside. but now that they knew about her past they couldn’t help but look at her a little bit differently.“hi everyone - thanks for inviting me!” aliyah said happily. aliyah smiled at her politely. “anytime sweetheart harry told us you liked tacos so me and bobby made some for you” athena said. aliyah and harry sat down at the table. “awwh thank youu guys” aliyah said. she loved tacos so much.they started eating and about 15 minutes into the meal athena tried to slowly approach aliyah with the subject. “so aliyah.. umm harry told us something and we wanted to ask you about”. athena said hesitantly she just knew aliyah was about to have a out burst. aliyah’s heart dropped so fast she HOPED harry didnt say anything.“sweetheart harry told us what your father did - and were gonna help you - i can try to find him.” athena said. aliyah’s face went pale. she finished chewing and then looked at harry. when harry looked at her he didn’t recognize aliyah she looked furious. aliyah suddenly stood up and said “i asked you not to tell anyone..” she said in a scary tone. harry never heard her talk like that before.im sorry aliyah but i told my mom so she could help yo-“ harry didn’t even get to finish his sentence before aliyah started yelling. “ I DONT WANT YOUR HELP! it had been about a week since the incident at harry’s house, 6 days to be exact and aliyah was missing harry real bad.harry was missing her also. aliyah wasn’t answering any of his calls or messages. she wasnt ready to talk to him. she was still a little bit upset.Aliyah acted like she didn’t feel well so she didnt have to see harry at school . she was shocked it worked for 5 days. she wasn’t actually sick but she clearly was doing a good job at faking if her mom let her stay home that long. it was now Saturday so that meant she missed a whole week off school.ashley started to notice her daughters weird behavior. aliyah wasnt eating or talking as much as she usually would. ashley even noticed she hadn’t talked to harry in a while. so she decided to ask her about it. she walked to her daughters room and knocked.“come in” aliyah said. ashley walked in and saw her daughter laying down in her bed on her phone.“how you feeling?” ashley asked.“im actually feeling better” Aliyah said with a smile.“okay thats good do you think you can go back to school on Monday?” ashley asked.aliyah’s demeanor quickly changed she was scared to go back to school and see harry. she literally had all her classes with him. so its not like she could avoid him at school. ashley noticed her change in demeanor a but didn’t say anything.“o-oh umm yea i guess” aliyah said hesitantly.“whats wrong baby why have u been acting like this?” ashley asked suddenly.“what do you mean?” Aliyah said.“you haven’t been eating and you haven’t been talking to harry did something happen while you were at his house?” ashley asked.“nothing happened mom i just haven’t been feeling well” Aliyah lied.ashley stared at her daughter for a moment and she knew she was lying but just left it alone. she would eventually come around. she stood up and was about to walk out before she said. “you know you can talk to me right?” she asked. aliyah just nodded.ashley didn’t believe aliyah one bit.————————————————————————————————————————————————*about 2 hours later*aliyah was still laying in her bed. she was thinking about something.she wanted to go to harry’s house and apologize. she also contemplated asking athena for help. aliyah was so scared. if she wanted help from athena that meant aliyah would have to tell her mother. she was so scared.aliyah got up and threw some clothes on. she put a black sweatshirt on with some black sweatpants and her black crocs. she put her gold nameplate chain on (she wore it everywhere).she walked downstairs and saw her mom in the living room. “mom can i go to harry’s house?” Aliyah asked.“oh sure baby want me to take you or are you gonna walk? ashley asked. she was shocked aliyah was going to see harry after not talking to him.“ima walk can u pick me up tho? aliyah asked.“yea ill pick you up- but remember what i said pay attention to your surroundings when your walking”. ashley said sternly.“okay mom bye love you” aliyah said while walking out the door. she was lowkey annoyed because she already knew to pay attention. she didn’t know why her mom said it every time she went somewhere.“love you to baby!” ashley yelled (aliyah was already outside)as aliyah was walking to harry’s house she was thinking about how she wanted to apologize. she didn’t even know what to say.she finally arrived to his house and knocked. it was 3 in the afternoon so she figured he would be home.athena was washing the dishes when she heard a knock at her door. she had no idea who it could be. harry and may were at michael's and bobby was at work. she dried her hands and walked over to the door. she looked into the peephole and saw aliyah. the last person she expected.she opened the door and said “hey sweetheart i haven’t seen you a while- need something?”aliyah looked up from her phone and saw athena looking at her. she didn’t expect athena to open the door.“oh hi thena.. uhm i came here to apologize is harry here?” aliyah asked.“oh no baby he's with his father right now he’ll be here around 5- wanna come in?” athena asked.“uhm were you busy? (aliyah agrees)they talk for hours until suddenly they hear “MOM WERE HOMEEEEEEEEE!” harry yelled from the top of the stairs.he ran down the stairs to greet his mother but stopped dead in his tracks when he saw aliyah.. may and michael almost bumped into him. may was about to say something but then she saw aliyah. “oh hey aliyah!” may said. “hi may” aliyah replied.may then walled over to greet her mom “hey mom did u miss us” may said with a wink.athena got up and hugged her daughter “ yessss i missed my babies” athena said with a laugh. she walked over to harry and michael “hey guys!” she said. harry replied saying “hey mom” then he walked over to aliyah.michael suddenly asks “hey athena is that the girl harry likes.. or should i say loves. athena and michael start laughing. after they were done laughing athena spoke “yup thats her” she said with a smile. “is she nice- harry really likes her” michael asks. athena replies with “yess shes very sweet”.while athena and michael were talking harry went to go talk to aliyah. he hoped she wasnt still upset. he really missed her.“h-hey liyah what are you doing here?” harry asked.“hi harry i came to apologize im really sorry for yelling at you … and pushing you im also sorry for ignoring your messages-” aliyah started to ramble until harry interrupted her.“i forgive you” harry said.“what?” i didnt even finish” aliyah said.“you dont need to because i’ll forgive you anyways- i should be the one apologizing” harry said.“for what helping me? im kinda glad you told now i dont feel so alone” aliyah said.“your not alone anymore liyah .... now get up” harry said.aliyah stood up hesitantly. “why..?” aliyah said.“so i can do this” harry said. he suddenly swooped aliyah up in his arms and gave her a hug.“harry!” aliyah whispered yelled. “put me down!”. harry laughed “im not gonna drop you so just relax” he said.aliyah relaxed and just smiled. “ive missed you harry im really sorry” she said into his shoulder.harry smiled “i missed you too liyah- man u smell so good” he said. he eventually put her down but they still were hugging.“you always say that” aliyah said with a slight laugh.“because its true what type of perfume do you use?” harry asked.“i dont use perfume- i dont even own one” aliyah said.harry suddenly stopped hugging her and aliyah was kinda sad. she lowkey loved harry’s hug.“you dont use perfume?! so this is your natural scent?!?” harry said in shock.aliyah started laughing “i mean i use this vanilla lotion and this coco butter soap but thats literally it” she said.“it smells really good then” harry said.“thank you harry” aliyah said.eventually michael left and athena walked back down the stairs.“oh i see you guys made up- i told you she would come around” athena said while smiling.“im glad she did” harry said. but he wasn’t looking at athena he was just staring at aliyah, athena noticed her son looking at aliyah like she was the most precious thing ever. that made her heart melt. she stopped staring and then asked.“you staying for dinner?” she said to aliyah.“i can?!” aliyah replied. athena nodded in amusement. “thank you thena!” aliyah said happily.aliyah sent a quick message to her mom.aliyah: athena said i can stay for dinner and there’s something i need to tell you when i get home.mom: okay baby see you later.aliyah put her phone back into her pocket then spoke again.“my mom said thats fine also thena.. im gonna tell my mom when i get home” aliyah said.“okay baby remember what i said its okay to cry and dont panic while telling her” athena said.“tell her what?” harry said confused. “im going to tell her about what my dad did” aliyah said sadly.“ohhhhh ok” harry said.aliyah quickly changed the subject and said “do you wanna play fortnite?” she asked harry.harry jumped up and down “YES!” he said. aliyah laughed at his childish behavior.they played a few founds and won 3 out of 5 when athena suddenly called them and said “dinners ready MAY COME EAT!” she yelled.they all sat down and ate the food athena made. aliyah’s mom eventually came to pick up her up from harry’s house.“oh bye guys my mom just texted me shes outside” aliyah said getting up from the table.“byee” may and athena said at the same time.“can i have a hug before you go?” harry asked.“of course“ she walked over to hug him.may and athena smiled “they are literally so cute they needa get together asap” may whispered in her mother’s ear.athena laughed then whispered back “they are cute and i wouldn’t mind if they dated shes a nice girl” she said.may nodded in agreement.after aliyah and harry were done hugging aliyah spoke again. “oh! thanks thena for the meal”“anytime sweetheart” athena replied.aliyah finally walked out the door and down the driveway to her mothers car.“hey sweetheart you had fun?” ashley said.“yea i had a lot of fun” aliyah said while smiling. Ashley smiled she hadn’t seen her daughter smile like that in what felt like forever

this man had a pretty decent amount of charges on him. he had 4 assault charges and one drug charge. he’s only been to jail once tho and that was for the drug charge. this was almost 20 years ago tho.she printed a report of this. she was gonna bring it to Ashley on her lunch break..4 hours later she was able to go on her lunch break, she walked to her desk to grab the report. once she got it she walked to her squad car. she pulled out of the precinct parking lot and headed to aliyah’s house.“727-L30 out to lunch” Athena said into her radio.“copy that 727-L30” a dispatcher responded.12 minutes later she arrived at aliyah’s house. Athena walked up to the door and knocked. then suddenly a boy she never remembered meeting before opens the door. she remembered aliyah mentioning she had a brother so this had to be him. they looked alike.“oh hi you must be aliyah’s brother.” Athena said.“oh uhm yea thats me- wait are you Athena?” Andrew asked.“yes i am i have something for your mom can i come in?” Athena replied with a slight laugh.“oh ok sure” Andrew said while moving out the way.Athena walked in the house, she and Ashley had been friends for a minute and never once has she been here.“MOM ATHENA’S HERE!” Andrew yelled. it had been about a month since athena told her that her father was dead.everything was going good. she wasn’t having those stupid nightmares as much. her relationship with harry and his family was getting better and better by the day. she even met the 118 when athena had invited her to extended family day.aliyah was really happy. her crush on harry was starting to get stronger. she found herself wanting to talk to him more. she had never felt like this about a boy before. of course she had other crushes before harry. but she never had one like this.the same went for harry he really liked aliyah some would say he loved her. harry liked everything about her. he thought she was perfect. his favorite thing tho, was definitely her voice. it was really raspy but feminine at the same time. he loved when she talked.aliyah loved everything about harry also. but her favorite thing had to be his smile. she lovedddd his boyish grin. and oh my God his laugh. it was the perfect combination. aliyah would never get tired of hearing it or seeing it.*at harry’s housealiyah was over for dinner once again athena didn't mind tho. after all she was the one inviting her.may was upstairs in her room doing whatever teenage girls did. she most likely was listening to music.meanwhile aliyah and harry were sitting at the dining room table building a architecture New York City lego set that harry had got years ago. he lowkey forgot about it until he found it cleaning his room.bobby and athena were just watching them while they made dinner. tonight bobby was grilling some burgers and athena was cutting up some french fries. “they are literally the cutest” athena whispered to bobby while she rinsed a potato off.bobby smiled “harry really likes her” athena nodded her head in agreement. “so does she” athena said with a wink.bobby looked confused “how do you know..” he said. athena giggled “i cant say…it was a conversation between us two girls” she replied.“ohhh okayy gotcha..” bobby said winking. that made athena laugh even more.“ harry are you even reading the directions... this piece goes hereee” aliyah suddenly said. harry looked at the directions and then back at the piece he was working on. “ohhhhh shoot” he said. harry wasn’t paying much attention. he was only thinking about asking aliyah to the dance. aliyah started laughing. harry stopped what he was doing and then just stared at her. he loved her laugh, it sounded like a happy baby.after aliyah was done having her giggle fit she noticed harry starring at her. “what?” aliyah said with a slight laugh. harry just shook his head “nothing i just like your laugh” the young boy said.aliyah then made a face at him. that type of face you make at someone when you know their lying. “what ever” she said with another slight laugh.they continued to build the lego set they were more then halfway done. 20 minutes later the food was ready. may came downstairs and sat down at the table. “hey aliyah”. may said. aliyah smiled “oh hey girl” she replied.athena brought the fries over to the table and saw the lego set still on the table. “harry can you take this upstairs to your room” athena said motioning to the legos. “oh my bad mom- aliyah can u help me?” harry said. aliyah nodded and stood up from her chair and grabbed some legos. they started to walk to harry’s room. all of the times aliyah’s been here shes never been in his room.when they walked in it smelled like carpet powder. harry’s room was freshly cleaned. and there was a nice cool breeze from the fan. “you have a nice room harry” aliyah said as she looked around. he had a bunch of legos on his shelfs. he had navy blue sheets on his full size mattress. he also had wooden letters above his bed that spelled out harry.“thanks liyah!” harry said. harry took pride in his room. he spent a lot of time decorating it just how he wanted it. it was his own personal space.“your welcomee” she replied. they put the legos down on harry’s bed. once they did that they walked out. harry opened the door for aliyah and closed it afterwards. they walked back to the kitchen to eat.they all sat down and started to eat their delicious meal that bobby and athena prepared for them. they were about 10 minutes into the meal until may suddenly spoke. “so i heard theres a middle school dance coming up!” bobby and athena were confused because harry never brought it up. “oh yea i was gonna tell you guys- its on December 7th. AND its the biggest social event of the school year” harry said excitingly.athena suddenly asked. “oh okay.. is it a formal dance- what colors do you have to wear?“the colors are neutral likeeee.. black, white, grey, and tan- colors like that” aliyah suddenly said. harry looked at her and asked. “are you gonna go?“ehh probably not i dont even have anyone to go with” aliyah replied. they were 5 months into the school year and aliyah only made one friend and that was harry. its not like she couldn’t make friends. she chose not too. she didn’t wanna let anyone get to close to her. but she already failed at that with harry.harry looked shocked and so did everyone at the table. how could she not go to the BIGGEST event of the year?! harry wanted to ask her so bad but he was so scared of rejection.. harry pushed down his fear and just straight up asked her..“w-would you like to go with me.. to the dance?” harry blurted out. aliyah looked shocked she was not expecting him to ask her that.. may bobby and athena all waited for an answer. the suspense lowkey killing them.“y-yes i would like to go with you” aliyah said.“forreal?!” harry said happily. aliyah laughed and said “yes forreal”everyone at the table cheered. harry was so excited he couldn’t believe she said yes..after the excitement everyone continued to eat. 12 minutes later everyone was done. harry went to his room to get the legos so they could finish building it.while they were building it harry asks “so what color are we gonna wear?” aliyah looked deep in thought until she finally spoke “black?”harry smiled of course she would pick black, that was her go too. “yea thats fine liyah” he replied. “are you sure.. i dont wanna make u wear a color you dont wanna wear..” harry looked at her “yes im happy with the color.. i promise” harry replied. “okay” aliyah said while smiling.aliyah was so happy she wanted to do a backflip. aliyah tried to calm herself down. “this is just a friendly dance nothing more nothing less.. he doesn’t like you aliyah so dont get your hopes up” aliyah thought to herself..20 minutes later they finished the lego set. “finally” the two teenagers said at the same time. they looked at each other and started laughing.. they thought it was funny they said it at the same time. aliyah's phone chimed.. “oh! my moms here.. bye harry” she said while walking towards the door.harry gave aliyah and quick hug. “bye everyone thanks for the food bobby and athena!” aliyah yelled while walking out the door.bobby and athena laughed. when aliyah got to the car she told her mom everything. she told her about the dance, she told her about how harry asked her to go with him, she told her the date,time and the colors they had to wear.“okay baby we can go dress shopping together tomorrow” ashley said. her baby was growing up so fast. she was going to a school dance with a BOY.. ashley was excited for her daughter.* fast forward to the day of the dance” (it was 4:00 in the afternoon)harry💙 do you remember what time the dance is?

they ended up facetiming for about an hour, but harry had to go get a haircut. aliyah didn’t mind she had to start getting ready also.at about 5:40 aliyah decided it was a good time to start getting ready. she had to take a shower, shave her arms and legs, do her hair and she still had to get dressed.aliyah hopped in the shower and started shaving, she then washed up with her favorite vanilla soap 3 times. finally she was done. she got out and wrapped her towel around her. she brushed her teeth quickly. and then walked back to her room.when she got to her room she immediately was greeted with a cool breeze from her ac which she was thankful for because she was hot from her shower. she laid down on her bed enjoying the cool air until she suddenly got 3 text messages back to back.harry💙: (2 attachments) do you like my haircut? my sweet girl🩶: okayyaliyah put her phone back on the charger and then finally got up. she took her towel off and hung it up to dry. she started to put her coco butter on. she started from her neck all the way down to her toes. she walked over to her drawer and pulled out a pair of underwear and a matching bra. she put that on and walked over to her closet when suddenly someone knocked on her door.*knock knock*aliyah? mom asked if you were getting ready.” andrew said on the other side of the door.“yea im getting dressed right now” she replied.“okay” andrew said walking away.“SHE SAID SHES GETTING DRESSED RIGHT NOW!!” andrew suddenly yelled.aliyah laughed. then resumed back to what she was doing. she picked out her dress from her closet and then laid it out on her bed. it was a black long sleeved dress that stopped about mid thigh. she starred at the dress.. this was another reason why she didn’t wanna go to the dance. she hated the way she looked in dresses..aliyah was taller then most girls at her school.. 5’6 to be exact, dresses showed her legs and she hated the way her legs looked. they had some scars on them but not nearly as much as her arms,back and stomach. she started to think about her dad and felt her eyes getting watery. she quickly pushed those thoughts away. tonight was gonna be a good night and she was gonna have fun.aliyah put the dress on and then looked at herself in her full body mirror she had in the corner of her room. she actually looked cute. and when she took her bonnett off she looked even better. she smiled “see aliyah you dont even look that bad” she thought to herself.she walked back over to her closet and picked up a shoe box. her sandals were in it. aliyah definitely wasn’t gonna wear heals if she already didn't like that she was tall why on earth would she wanna be taller? so she slipped her black open toed sandals on. you could see her french tipped toes, her nails matched also. she walked back over to the mirror and smiled. she actually liked the way she looked. she sat down at her vanity and started to fix her hair. she checked the time it was 6:50 so she had 10 minutes to fix her hair and she still had to pack her bag for her sleep over with harry.she decided to do a half up half down but with her dreads it was a little difficult. she finally finished in 6 minutes. suddenly she got a text messageharry: were on the way
aliyah: ok!she quickly put a black bow on that flowed down her hair. she remembered harry mentioning he had a bow tie so she decided to try and match with him. she got up and walked over to her closet once again. she grabbed her old pink book bag and started to pack her over night bag. she packed extra undergarments, she also packed her favorite pajamas. it was a pink set, a pink tank top with some matching pink baggy pants. she then packed her toothbrush ,socks , charger ,and her ipad. and lastly a outfit to go home.she grabbed a black clutch out of her closet she put 20 dollars in it along with her phone, and some lipgloss. she made sure she had everything before going downstairs. once she made sure she had everything she made her way downstairs.“oh my gosshhh honey you look so prettyyy” ashley said when she finally saw her daughter.“yea aliyah you look niceee” andrew said agreeing with his mom.suddenly there was a knock at the door. aliyah went to open it. she opened it and saw harry looking so handsome.“hiii harry you look niceee” aliyah said when she saw him.when aliyah opened that door harry had a weird feeling something he never felt before. he was thinking of some pretty inappropriate things about aliyah. she looked so beautiful. “she is so beautiful” harry said to himself.“hey aliyah these are for you” harry said as he handed her some flowers. carnations to be exact. aliyah was shocked because she only mentioned her favorite flower ONCE.. did he really remember or did he just guess?“awwh thank you harry let me put these in water” aliyah said taking the flowers.harry waited for her at the door way. when she finally came back ashley followed them outside.“let me take some photos” ashley said while smiling. athena got out of the car and took some photos to.5 minutes later they were finally done. “bye sweetie have fun i’ll se you tomorrow i love you” ashley yelled to her daughter.“bye mom love you more” aliyah yelled back.once harry and aliyah were buckled in the car bobby pulled off. 5 minutes into the drive athena spoke. “sooo are you guys excited?” she said.“i am” harry said. “ i am- i just dont like crowded places” Aliyah said softly.“its okay you’ll be with me” harry suddenly said. aliyah just smiled. “lets take some pictures” she said while pulling out her phone.once they took a few pictures. harry requested that aliyah send them to him. she did of course. finally they got to the school. they arrived at 7:16 which was totally fine because most of the students got there at that time also.“bye guys have fun and make smart choices” bobby and athena said at the same time. “we will!” both kids said while walking into the building.“you ready to have fun?” harry said with a wink? “sure” aliyah said while rolling her eyes playfully.they were about a hour into the dance when suddenly the dj decided to play a slow dance song… harry was pulling aliyah towards the dance floor. “come onnnn aliyah dont be shy remember your with me” harry said reassuringly.“im not shy i just dont know how to slow dance” aliyah said. she was in fact scared and she was so shy. dancing with a boy?! yea no“come on just try.” harry said. “ok” aliyah replied.harry wrapped his arms around her waist and aliyah wrapped her arms around his neck. the two teenagers started swaying with the music.“see its not that hard” harry whispered in her ear. Aliyah was feeling very weird. she was also thinking about some inappropriate things..aliyah laughed as harry spun her around. “dont do that again” aliyah said. “okay” harry said with a laugh.——————————————————————————-finally the dance was over..“im kinda sad its over i had fun with you” harry said. “me too but at least im coming over” aliyah replied.“ohh yes im really excited about that” harry said genuinely.both kids walked out of the school. “it’s time for your surprise-follow me” harry said while walking away. “wait harry!” aliyah said trying to catch up. when she finally caught up harry slid his hand into hers and they started walking. harry loved the way her hands felt, they were so soft.“so where we going” aliyah asked. you could barely see the school behind them anymore. “its a SURPRISE” harry said while dragging his words out.“ugh okay” aliyah said with a grin.they eventually got to there destination. it was a small ice cream shop. the pair walked towards the window and aliyah quickly told harry want she wanted.“hey guys! what would you two like?” the worker asked politely. “hi ma’am can i have a chocolate cone with sprinkles- and then a vanilla one with sprinkles?”“ 1 chocolate cone and a vanilla one both with sprinkles.. okay coming right up” the worker replied.“can i pa-“ aliyah tried to speak.“absolutely not” harry said before she could finish talking. “no seriously i can pa-“ she tried to speak again.“your not paying” harry said seriously.the worker came back with the ice cream “nobody’s paying because its on the house!” the worker said.“aww man no way really?” harry said. “yes honey go enjoy your ice cream” the worker replied.“thanks ma’am” both kids said as they took the ice cream. the worker just nodded. they both went to go sit down at a table. there were fairy lights hanging over the tables and it made the lighting perfect.“thanks harry” Aliyah said while licking her ice cream. seeing aliyah lick an ice cream cone did weird things to harry and he didn't know why but he started envisioning her licking something else. “stop being nasty harry” harry said to himself.“your welcome” he said a little late. “so was this the surprise?” aliyah asked.“no… i-i wanted to ask you something” harry said suddenly getting shy.“okay ask me” aliyah said.“uhm a-aliyah ive wanted to tell you this for a while.. um i like you.. like really like you.. ive liked you since the first day of school and its okay if you dont feel the same way.. i-i just wanted to tell you how i felt” harry started rambling. aliyah was just staring at him. “w-what?” harry asked.harry knew by the way she was looking at him she definitely was gonna say she didn’t feel the same way… “oh harry…… i-i like you too, ive liked you since the first day of school also. your so sweet harry and i just.. idk i just like you” aliyah said softly.“actually?” harry said shocked. “yes..” aliyah replied.“s-so you’ll be my girlfriend”?” harry asked quietly. “i would love to be your girlfriend harry” aliyah said.then suddenly they were just staring at each other, their ice cream cones long forgotten. harry suddenly leaned down and pressed his lips against aliyah. when there lips touched it was like a firework. well at least thats what it felt like to them. harry cupped his hands around her face and then they started making out. then the kiss ended, they both were panting.. “harry we weren’t supposed to do that so soon” aliyah said trying to get air in her lungs.“i know.. but it was worth it right?” harry asked softly. “yea.. it was” aliyah said breathlessly.

meanwhile harry and aliyah were still making out. the worker glanced out the window and saw then she was tempted to go say something to them but she decided to leave them alone.aliyah suddenly remembered what harry said. his parents were gonna be at the school at 10.she gently pushed harry from off her and tried to speak.“harry” aliyah said breathlessly.“mhmm?” harry said trying to kiss her again.“no forreal harry- we have to leave” aliyah said softly.harry all of sudden realized.“OH SHOOT..what time is it??!” harry whisper yelled“oh my goodness its 9:54” aliyah replied.“okay we have time-lets just speed walk..” harry said getting up.harry helped aliyah up from her chair and they hurried up and threw their trash away. they started to walk really fast. harry was hoping athena and bobby wouldn’t be on time and they would be at least a FEW minutes late. harry and Aliyah were now about 2 minutes away from the school.finally they got to the school, there was still a decent amount of kids outside the school so hopefully bobby and athena wouldn’t think to much about it. THANKFULLY they weren’t here yet. they sat down on a bench and waited.at 10:07 they finally pulled up. “SORRY WERE LATE BUT WHAT DID SHE SAYY?!” bobby yelled out the window. on the way to the school bobby told athena what harry was planning to do. athena was so happy for her son.harry and aliyah got up from the bench and started walking towards the car. aliyah was confused about what bobby was saying. did harry tell them, she didn’t think so. they held hands as they walked so bobby knew she said yes.“she said yes!” harry said happily.athena and bobby cheered. “awhh you guys are just so cute” athena said. “ ayee son i told you she would say yes.” bobby said after athena. both teenagers smiled, harry opened the car door for aliyah and then got in after her.“aliyah so i know this is your first time sleeping over- so if you wanna go home i’ll take you back home all you have to do is just ask.” athena said softly.“thanks thena but i think i’ll be fine” aliyah replied.aliyah was praying that she didn’t have a silly nightmare at harry’s house how embarrassing would that be. aliyah actually had a history of leaving sleepovers early. she would have a terrible nightmare, wake up crying in the middle of the night and then call her mom to come pick her up. eventually ashley got sick of it and said aliyah wouldn’t be able to go to anymore sleepovers if she was just gonna call her in the middle of the night just to come pick her up.ashley never knew about the nightmares tho, so aliyah would make up excuses every single time. for example sometimes she would say she didnt feel well. or she would say she threw up.aliyah was zoned out she didnt hear harry talking to her. “liyahhhh” harry said while snapping his fingers in front of her face.aliyah finally zoned back in.“mhm? sorry” Aliyah said.“you okay?” harry asked.“mhm.. did u need something?” Aliyah said.“i asked if you wanted to play fortnite when we get to my house” harry said.Aliyah just nodded. “are you sure your okay?” harry asks he was wondering why her demeanor changed so quickly.“yes im sure” aliyah said smiling.“okay..” harry said hesitantly.5 minutes into the drive aliyah suddenly got sleepy and fell asleep, her head resting against the car window until bobby suddenly hit a sharp turn. Aliyah’s head then fell onto harry’s shoulder, harry looked down onto aliyah and he thought she looked so pretty sleeping. harry laid his head down on her head and fell asleep not to much longer after her.athena looked at them from the passenger seat and smiled. she tapped bobby’s shoulder and told him to look. when bobby stopped at a red light, he looked he smiled also. “they are so cute together im glad she said yes” bobby whispered so he wouldn’t wake them up. “i agree they are cute- i have a good feeling about her bobby- like… idk i think they might ACTUALLY last”. athena said with a slight laugh.“we’ll see….” bobby said then pulled back off when the light turned green.athena took a picture of them sleeping, she was.. saving it for “memories”.a few minutes later bobby spoke “should we let them go to the gas station and get some snacks for there sleepover?” athena looked at her husband “umm yea sure” athena said. bobby made a quick u-turn and started to drive to the gas station.4 minutes later they were at the gas station. athena reached back and tapped harry so he could wake up. “harryy wake up honey we’re gonna get some snacks” athena said. harry slowly opened his eyes and was kinda shocked when he saw aliyah leaning on him he completely forgot about that. “why are we here mom?” harry said sleepily.“we getting some snacks- wake liyah up” athena said getting out the car. harry tapped aliyah “liyah wake up were gonna get some snacks”. aliyah didn’t wake up tho. harry sighed.. “shes a deep sleeper. harry thought to himself. harry then rubbed aliyah’s back while tapping her at the same time. “cmonn liyah” harry said. bobby and athena were waiting for them in the store he didn’t want them to get worried.finally aliyah started to wake up. “mhmm?” aliyah mumbled, she was trying to shake harry’s hands off her. her eyes were closed so she didn’t know who was touching her. “aliyah come on” harry said once again. aliyah’s eyes slowly opened “are we at your house?” aliyah said softly. harry smiled “no were at the gas station- to get some snacks” he said. “oh okay- did i fall asleep on you?” aliyah said more awake this time. harry giggled “yea you did but its fine- you can do it whenever you want” harry said.aliyah smiled and then they both got out the car. harry grabbed Aliyah’s hand and they started walking towards the store. when they finally walked in bobby asked them what took so long. “shes a deep sleeper” harry said with a laugh. “im sorry” aliyah said. bobby smiled “i was just messing around with you- anyways you kids can get whatever you’d like”“thanks bobby” both kids said. harry and aliyah walked over to the chip isle. aliyah grabbed a bag of hot fries and harry grabbed a bag of barbecue chips. “do you like spicy stuff?” harry said as they walked to the candy isle. “only chips- i cant eat hot food” aliyah said with a laugh. harry smiled “i hate spicy food- like you cant even taste the flavors because of the spice” harry said.“exactlyyy! i knew i wasn’t the only one who thought that” aliyah said laughing. “okay so whats your favorite candy?” harry asked as they finally got to the isle. “my favorite candy is.. peanut butter M&MS” Aliyah said as she grabbed a pack. harry looked shocked “no wayy mines too!” harry said.aliyah smiled and looked at him “hes so cute” aliyah thought to herself. “okay so should we get a share size then? aliyah asked. “oh yea your right- thats smart” harry said as he grabbed a share size.
aliyah laughed she didn’t think it was smart she thought it was common sense.they walked to the drink isle. “what drink are you gonna get?” harry asked. aliyah walked over to the slushy machine “i think i want a slushy..” aliyah said. harry walked over to her. “okay i’ll get one too” harry said. aliyah smiled “what flavor you gonna get?” aliyah asked as she filled the cup up with blue raspberry slushy. “im gonna get cherry” harry said filling his cup up. aliyah made a face of disgust she HATED cherry. it taste like medicine to her, harry noticed her face. “do you not like cherry..?” harry asked quietly. “noo i hate it- so disgusting” Aliyah said. harry looked shocked “WHAT?! how do you not like cherry- its a classic!” harry said in shock.aliyah laughed. “i dont know i just dont like it” she said. harry rolled his eyes “your so picky” harry said. “aliyah rolled her eyes!, “ugh whatever” she said with a laugh. they walked over to the self check out and bobby paid for them. “thanks bobby” both kids said again. bobby smiled “anytime guys” he said. the 4 of them walked back to the car. when they got in the car athena asked if they were hungry. both kids said no because they had pizza at the dance.“okay then- time to go home” athena said as soon as bobby pulled off.10 minutes later they were finally at harry’s house. “okay yall can do whatever yall want- just dont break anything and try not to be to loud.. oh! also try not to stay up toooo late.” athena said. “goodnight guys” bobby said.“goodnight bobby goodnight thena” athena said.“goodnight mom good night pops” harry said as he gave them a hug.aliyah walked into the kitchen and out the snacks on the counter. bobby and athena walked to there room to sleep. harry walked into the kitchen. “okay so we can shower first then we can play fortnite” harry said. aliyah smiled “okay- could u get me a washcloth and a towel?” she said. “oh yea follow me” harry replied.they walked to the closet that was near the guest bathroom. the closet had loads of stuff in it. it had toilet paper, towels, wash cloths, toothpaste , toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, and a bunch of different types of body washes. athena loved buying stuff in bulk. you never know when you might need it.“here you go liyah” harry said, he handed her a white towel and wash cloth.“thank you harry” aliyah said softly.“your welcome, im gonna go shower too- also there should be some soap in the guest bathroom if not just call me and i’ll bring some” harry said as he walked towards his bathroom to shower.aliyah walked into the bathroom to check if there was soap, (there was) it was the dove original.20 minutes later harry was out the shower but aliyah wasn’t, so harry decided to get the game started. he went to his room to look for another controller but he couldn’t find it. so he went to mays room and took her pink controller. may was at a sleepover over so hopefully she wouldn't be mad.
he went to the living room to start the game, aliyah still wasn’t out the shower but harry didn’t mind. while harry waited for her he just scrolled through his phone.finally aliyah was out the shower harry heard her soft footsteps before he saw her, he turned around from the couch and saw aliyah wearing her pink pajamas. harry thought she looked so pretty.“hey did i take long?” aliyah asked.“oh hey uh no y-you didn’t- i like your pajamas liyah.. you look pretty” harry stuttered.aliyah smiled she loved when harry complimented him, it made her feel giddy inside. even if she didn't agree with what he was saying.“thank you harry i like your too” aliyah said. harry was wearing a navy blue set similar to Aliyah’s, his was just long sleeved.“thank you liyah.. you ready to play? ive been practicing i think i might beat you..” harry said with a wink.aliyah sat down next to him and laughed “okay bet” she said. they played a few games together, they were having so much fun together they didnt even notice it was 2AM.“wait harry he’s behind you!” aliyah said.“oh my gosh where is he i dont see him” harry said.“behind the tree” aliyah laughed, she knew he was gonna die. harry went behind the tree but the player wasn’t there. he somehow got behind harry and shot him right in the back.“noooo” harry said throwing his hands up in the air.
aliyah was having a giggle fit. it was so funny to her watching harry play the game.“its not funny” harry said while rolling his eyes. that only made aliyah laugh even more. harry started to smile he loved her laugh. “so why are you smiling??” Aliyah asked. they both stopped laughing and just started staring at each other.. then suddenly they started laughing again.they didn’t know why they were laughing, nothing was even funny but it was 2 in the morning and they were tired. so everything was funny to them. plus they had candy and slushy so they were a little more hyper than usual.they eventually stopped laughing, and then harry suddenly spoke. “do you wanna make some tiktoks?” he asked.“sure- should be make a stop motion one?” aliyah asked. harry smiled, he saw couples making stop motions on tiktok before and he was gonna eventually ask her if she wanted to make one but she beat him to it.“yess i was gonna ask you!” harry said. Aliyah smiled and grabbed her phone off the living room table. she went in tiktok and found a sound to use. she decided to use while we’re young by jhéne aiko.she scooted closer to harry and then started making the video. harry decided to give her a kiss on her cheek before the video ended. once they were done they looked over the video before posting it.aliyah tagged harry in the caption, she also wrote “my boo 🙃” in the caption. “you wanna play another game real quick?” harry suddenly asked.“sure” aliyah replied. they played a quick game and then they won, harry was so happy.aliyah’s phone suddenly started blowing up with comments from her recent tiktok. “i wonder what their saying” harry said kinda worried. aliyah smiled “its probably nothing bad” she replied.she checked the post. she only posted it 29 minutes ago and it already had 67 likes. there was just a bunch of people from their school asking if they were dating now. aliyah replied to a few and then put her phone down.“you wanna watch a movie?” aliyah asked.harry nodded and handed her the remote “you can pick” harry said.aliyah handed him the remote back and said “no you can pick your not gonna like what i wanna watch”harry looked curious.. “well what do you wanna watch??” he asked. aliyah suddenly looked shy “i wanna watch frozen” she said quietly.harry couldn’t hear her “what did you say?” he said as he leaned closer, he wanted to kiss her so bad.aliyah shivered has she felt harry’s breath on her shoulder, she wanted to kiss him. “i said frozen”
harry smiled “okay we can watch that” he said.harry put the movie on, aliyah was on one side of the couch and harry was on the other end. he wanted to cuddle with her but they literally JUST started dating. he didnt wanna make her uncomfortable but little did he know she felt the same way.aliyah wanted to lay on harry but she didn’t want him to think she was moving to fast. she wanted to cuddle with him soooo bad.harry suddenly spoke. “a-aliyah do y-you wanna lay with me??” he asked hesitantly. Aliyah looked over to him and smiled “y-yea i would like to” she replied.aliyah went over to harry and laid down on his chest. he smelt so good she thought to herself. “am i heavy?” aliyah asked. harry laughed she thought she was heavy.. “nope your actually light- are you comfortable?” he asked her.aliyah smiled and said “yes”.20 minutes into the movie harry started to rub her back. aliyah positioned herself so she could look at his handsome face. harry caught her looking at him 3 times before he decided to say something. “what?” he said.aliyah smiled “nothing- your just really handsome” aliyah said. she was being bold.. maybe because she was getting sleepy. after all it was 4 in the morning.harry started to blush “t-thank you liyah” he said.
they just stared at each other for about 30 seconds before harry started to kiss her AGAIN. harry liked kissing aliyah the way her soft lips felt against his. he loved everything about it.8 minutes later they eventually stopped kissing. they both were panting. “im sleepy harry” aliyah said, her eyes fighting to stay open. harry smiled sleepily. “me too liyah… goodnight sleep.. well” he said. aliyah mumbled something that sounded like “you too” but harry was to tired to say anything.
—————————————————————————may came back from the sleep over at around 7 in the morning. when she walked in the living room and saw them laying together she was shocked.one of harry’s legs were hanging off the couch and he had one of his arms wrapped around aliyah, the other arm was covering his face. aliyah’s leg was hanging off the couch also. her arm was hanging off too. her other arm was on harry’s chest. harry’s hair was so messy.may took a photo of them then she was about to walk to her room when her mom and stepdad came out of there room.“oh hey sweetheart” athena said sleepily. “morning may” bobby said also.“goodmorning guys- come look” may whispered. the trio walked to the living room. athena was about to ask her what she needed to show them until she saw them..“awhh oh my gosh” athena said. athena took out her phone and took a photo. bobby smiled. “they are just the cutest” he said.“lets make some breakfast” athena suddenly said. bobby nodded and they walked to the kitchen. may went to her room to put her stuff away, she came downstairs and sat at the dining room table and scrolled on her phone. she was watching tiktok when she saw familiar faces it was harry and aliyah. may smiled and liked the video.bobby and athena whipped up something quick to make. they made waffles, bacon and egg. once they were done cooking athena put everything on the table. she set out orange juice and apple. but her and bobby had coffee.harry began stirring in his sleep, which caused aliyah to start to wake up. “hmmm stop moving” aliyah said. harry stirred again. aliyah was getting irritated, why was her sleep getting disturbed.they both opened there eyes at the same time and when they realized what was going on they scrambled off of each other. “oh my gosh im sorry aliyah” harry said. aliyah looked around and saw may, bobby and athena laughing at them. “wait no its okay” aliyah said.harry finally saw them laughing and he started blushing. it was kinda embarrassing that his family saw them. “come eat sleepy heads” bobby said.aliyah and harry went over to the table to eat, the 5 of them ate there meal, harry and aliyah talked about how much fun they had last night they left out the kissing tho..they finished eating and then aliyah went home. harry walked her out and gave her a hug per usual.
harry was looking forward to more sleepovers with aliyah.. and maybe even some more kissing😉.
