When humankind first became aware of the Digital World, it was during a time of conflict between Digimon and those of the real world. Radical Digimon invaders unleashed Ordinemon into the world in a bid to conquer it. However, they lost control of Ordinemon, and it fell upon eight Chosen Children and their Digimon partners to end them. Since then, the number of pure-hearted people with a partner Digimon has grown exponentially.
What we should have expected was that there were pure-hearted people not partnered with a Digimon out there.
These non-combatants are considered outcasts by those with partners. Even more so since those with a partner get more perks these days. To protect them and inspire others to defend themselves, the Digital Tactics Frontier was created by my older brother and Yagami Taichi. Izumi Koshiro leads the organization along with Tentomon.
It has been years since Ordinemon's defeat. We've been trying to spread the word about the Digital World and its history to places outside of Japan with varied success. I was a teenager in Junior High School along with Hikari when I met Daisuke, Miyako, and Iori. At the time, Hikari and I became D.T.F. agents. It didn't take long before Daisuke, Miyako, and Iori met their partners and signed up. Iori was more hesitant than the others. Once he realized the situation at hand, he agreed to join us.
The five of us formed the Armor Branch, a team of humans partnered with Digimon that can Armor Evolve. We formed to put an end to the Digimon Kaiser's bid for conquest of the Digital World.
I saw it all as another grand adventure for us at first.
Little did I know what fate had in store for us.
