Aloy stretched as she woke with a grunt, the furs beneath her were soft as she started to come to, opening her eye she smiled as the lax face of her lover entered her vision, his paint smudged slightly from where he had drooled in the night but otherwise unmoving as usual. Holding back a snort, she carefully got out and pulled her under armor cloths on before placing the Focus on her temple.           “Aloy”           “Good morning Gaia” She greeted the AI as she worked on fastening her armor to her bare cloth, deciding to go with the Nora Thunder Warrior Armor today; it wasn’t the lightest of her armor, but its defense was worth it.           “Did I wake you?”          “Not at all. I was just getting ready” She smiled as she looked over her shoulder at the bare shoulders of her lover. Slipping on her boots, she left her quarters in the Grove, a warm buzzing filled her chest as she thought about how she had actual sleeping quarters in the Grove; she had a place. Every Tenakth warmly greeted her in her short walk to a quieter place to talk, her smile only grew as did the warmness, she truly had a place here.           “A moment of your time then” The AI stated and after a slight pause to see if Aloy would decline, when she didn’t, the AI continued “I’ve recently picked up on an active signal far east. It appears that a cradle of ELEUTHIA has reactivated”           “Eleuthia” Aloy echoed lowly, that was the one responsible for repopulating the world, feeling dread burn deep in her stomach she squared her shoulders and asked “Where is the signal coming from?”           “Calculating…..it appears to be ELEUTHIA-9” Gaia stated in her gentle voice Aloy’s grown to love, but at that moment it filled her with dread and ice.          “That’s -” She started, but the words died in her throat          “Correct, it’s in the Nora Scared Land’s. All-Mother’s Cradle, I believe you called it”           “Can you shut it down?” There was an edge to her voice as the burn grew hotter.          “Attempting…..it appears my signal is blocked.”           “W-what happens now?” This can’t be happening.
“The Cradle will continue with its function and produce a new generation within it’s walls-”
“And they’ll starve” Aloy cut in as she grabbed at her chest plate, the memories of what she found in the Cradle suddenly fresh in her mind as she thought of the lack of food and fresh air. Feeling a lump forming in her throat, she tried working around it. “W-wh-wha…” she trailed off, her pulse racing as she tried to get her mind to stop racing.            “Aloy”           She couldn’t breathe.           Yanking her chest plate off, she grabbed at her chest.           “Aloy”          It hurt to breathe.           The edges of her vision started to blacken as she hunched forward and gasped weakly, trying to force air in her lungs.           Breathe, dammit.          Breathe.          “Aloy. Breathe lover”           And she did.           It was a ragged, sharp sound that brought the smell of spice and musk to her lungs; snapping her eyes open to find her face pressed against Kotallo’s neck with his hand firm in her hair, he was mumbling nothing's against her ear along with guiding her to breathe and that he was right there for her. Gripping onto him with shaky hands, she exhaled and sucked in another greedy breath; she repeated twice more before she could pull back and look Kotallo in the eyes.           “Are you alright?”          “Y-yeah. I-I think so” She mumbled as the hand in her hair dropped to her neck, and he brought their foreheads together, sharing the air between them.           “I sent for Kotallo when you showed signs of a panic attack” Gaia’s voice drifted through her Focus, the softness of her voice helped push down the burn that still corset through her veins. Aloy stepped closer and tucked herself against her lover once more, her nose finding the hollow of his throat, and nodded. “I did not mean to cause you distress….unfortunately as it stands, only you or Beta can shut the Cradle down”          “They’re not going to let Beta close enough” Aloy mumbled as she sighed as Kotallo’s hand rubbed at her neck and the base of her skull. “It’s going to have to be me”           “Another mission?”           Aloy nodded again, not wanting to leave his warmth just yet; she sighed when his hand settled on her bare shoulder, and she stepped back “I have to return east” She stated as she looked out in that direction, saying it out loud made the burn come back and fester in her stomach. “Back to the Nora Lands. There’s….something of the Old One’s reactivated, and only I can stop it.”           “When do we leave?” Kotallo questioned and only offered a slight smile when Aloy’s neck snapped to look at him, he arched an eyebrow while tilting his head back slightly “My spear is yours as much as my life is. Where you go, I intend to follow”           “But it’s the Savage East”           “And you braved the Forbidden West” Kotallo responded as he cupped her cheek, thumbing over the soft skin he found there “I will stand with you, always” he mumbled before he pulled her closer and dipped his head to kiss her gently.           They shared their moment alone before Aloy pulled back and offered a shy smile, “I suppose we need to talk with Herrako” She stated before turning and heading off to the Chief.             “When do we leave?” Kotallo questioned again as they stepped through the metal doors of their base, they were mostly packed, but Aloy insisted they needed to stop here before they off. He arched an eyebrow when Aloy waved him off, what was his lover planning?          “Varl” Aloy called out when finding her fellow Nora sitting on the couch with Zo. “We need to talk”           “Aloy” He greeted as he stood up and helped his pregnant lover up, a second later “What’s up?” he glanced between her and Kotallo before noting the packed bags and the harden expression on his friend's face. “Uh…what’s going on?”          “ELEUTHIA-9 became active again”           Varl’s eyes widened in shock as he searched her face, “That where….oh man, are you sure?”           Aloy nodded and took a deep breath, “Gaia alerted me…Varl I have to go shut it down” she stated hoping he understood what she was getting it, if his eyes could widen anymore they would pop out of his head.           “You’re returning East. To the Scared Lands”           She nodded. Keeping her eyes on his, even as they itched to look at the confused Zo, the Utaru turned to face Kotallo who only shook his head; showing that this was a Nora thing.           “I’m coming too” Varl stated after a moment's pause “A chance to see War-Chief Sona and to pay my wishes to Vala, I can’t miss it” he turned to Zo who arched an eyebrow at him “What?”          “Don’t think you’re keeping me here. I’m going with you”           “But you’re with child”           “And? It’s never stopped and Utaru before” She countered before turning to Aloy “That is alright, right?”          Aloy’s harden expression crumbled as she sighed deeply and smiled at them, “I’m not going to stop you, but it’s a hard trip. We’re mostly going to be flying on Sunwings” Her eyes drifted down to the roundness of Zo’s belly, from what Zo explained was that she was about halfway through, before looking at her friend again, smiling more as a wicked glem showed in her eyes.           “Can’t wait”           “You’re impossible” Varl groaned as he rubbed at his face, he had no idea how War-Chief Sona was going to react to her, he hoped it was for the best. “Let’s get packed then” he grumbled as he waved his hand while walking away, Zo chuckled as she followed after him.           Kotallo stepped up and pressed a kiss to her bare temple before he mumbled “All is well”           Yeah, all is well….for now.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Aloy let out a deep sigh as they left Meridian in the setting sun and continued East, it took all of her might not to stop and convince everyone that it was a wasted effort and to just go back. Allowing a smile pull on her lips when she felt her lover pull her closer and nuzzle against her neck.           “Are you alright, lover?”           “I’m fine” Came her automatic response, knowing that it wouldn’t fool him not matter how often she tried, and the 'humm' she got in returned showed that he didn’t believe her and waited for her answer. “There’s….it’s hard to talk about.”           “I know little of your tribes ways” Kotallo mumbled close to her ear to be heard above the wind, he could use the Focus, but this was just between them, he smirked at the shiver the went through Aloy’s body at his voice “What I know is from Varl and even that is limited. I don’t expect you to open fully of the trauma you endured, but I am here when you do”           Aloy smiled again and leaned back against him; his words meant more to her than he knew.            “Hey guys” Zo’s voice came over their Focus, drawing their attention to the other Sunwing. “You look like you’re having a moment over there. But I have to pee”          Aloy couldn’t stop the laugh that ripped itself from her through even if she tried, looking down over the flying lands she noticed the Tallneck of Copper Deeps making its rounds. “Is it urgent or can you wait a little longer?”
“How long is a little longer?”
“We’re almost to the Scared Lands, it’s just beyond that mountain range” Aloy pointed as she watched Zo and Varl, she couldn’t make out any facial expressions and waited.          “If we hurry”           Hearing urgency in her voice, Aloy kicked the sides of her Sunwing and urged it forward; angling it up to be able to clear the mountains and to go around Daytower Gate; Aloy felt a weight settle in her stomach as they finally passed into the Nora’s Scared Land, finding the place she wanted to land in, she started her descent.           Aloy slid off her Sunwing and looked over to Varl and Zo, the other Nora helping his mate off the back and looking around as she waddled off to find relief. “Aloy” Varl called out as he looked around some more and then turned to face her, “This place…it’s forbidden”           “Varl, the whole west is forbidden”           “No, this is worse….it’s forsaken”           “It’s abandoned” Kotallo spoke up as he stepped forward and looked around, eyes narrowing as he took in the state of the buildings.           “This is known as the Forsaken Village.” Aloy explained as she walked into the settlement “It was once a Nora village but after Red Raids it was abandoned”           “We can’t be here, Aloy” Varl shook his head as he refused to leave the side of the Sunwing, Zo had returned and was looking at them confused.           “You forget you’re a Seeker Varl” Aloy teased him with a smirk “Nothing's forbidden anymore” She turned with a laugh at the face he gave but continued forward, she’s been here before, during her first jounery so she just happened to know where everything is.           The three of them shared a look before following Aloy into the settlement, Zo glanced behind them and watched as the Sunwings lifted off the ground and settled on the roofs before opening their wings to recharge with the remaining sunlight. “You know a lot about this settlement” She commented as Aloy stood waiting by a larger hut and offered a tight smile. You didn’t have to be a Gravesinger to know the weight of her smile, or the death and loneliness that followed it.           “It’s getting late” She stated as she opened the door and stepped in, the three shared another look but followed her inside, looking around they all shared the same thought.           Aloy has been here before.            With a silent agreement, they decided not to push anymore and started to remove their slightly damp armor from the flight when their Focus’ chimed. “I see you’ve made it to the Nora’s Sacred Lands” Gaia’s voice hit their ears, “I’ve updated your Focus to be able to find the signal that woke ELEUTHIA-9; should you need it.”          “Thank you, Gaia” Aloy smiled           “As of now my range to you is limited, but if you were to visited Cauldron SIGMA before reaching ELEUTHIA-9 it would extend my range to the rest of Nora Territory”           “Sigma?” Kotallo questioned as the others shrugged.           “It’s the only cauldron in the Lands” Aloy explained before she rubbed her face, the exhaustion of flying starting to weigh on her. “We’ll visit it before heading to Mother’s Heart and look for the High Matriarchs; but for now we should sleep. No Nora will bother us”           “Very well. I will await for your contact”             Kotallo had no idea what time it was when he was woken by the sounds of large steps and a low growling; he shot up and looked around to find Zo was also awake, but their lovers gone. “What’s-”           “Shh!”           Kotallo pulled back in shock before he leaned forward and lowered his voice, “What is happening; why are why whispering?”          “There’s a large machine outside. Aloy was the first to wake to it” Zo explained from where she was standing by the door, “She and Varl went outside to take care of it”           Kotallo narrowed his eyes and slowly stepped closer, with a glance at Zo he slowly opened the door and the two of them slipped out; it was dark out when they left the hut, the area was lit by the full moon but no other light. Crouched down they walked around before slipping into some tall grass, still looking around they couldn’t see the machine; Kotallo’s head snapped to the left as the sounds of the machine got closer, gripping the axe in his hand tighter he watched as a pale yellow light shined from around the smaller hut.           What came around that hut was not something either of them were ready for. The machine that stepped into the clearing was medium-sized that was heavyset at the front, with a large, broad chest, neck, and shoulders, powerful legs, and no tail; in its mouth it had a pair of curved teeth that looked like large spikes.           “By the Ten!” Kotallo mumbled as he took in the size of the machine.           “That thing looks like a beefed up Ravager” Zo whispered in awe, the machine had fully entered the clearly and stopped before it slowly scanned the area, it’s pale yellow light turning blue as it gave itself a massive shake and started to turn around. As it turned fully and faced the way it came Kotallo looked up to see Aloy climbing over the top of the hut with her spare in her hand, without a second's hesitation she lept off the roof and dropped on the machine, her spear sinking in its neck right behind its massive head.           The machine let out a deafening cry as it shook to knock Aloy off, losing her footing she was flung off the machine, rolling to her feet she pulled out her bow and knocked back a flame arrow; shifting her aim to its hindquarters, she let her arrow fly, and it set the machine on fire. It let out another cry as it hopped around before turning and rushing at Aloy; Kotallo felt his throat tighten when Aloy didn’t move, only to let his breath out as it fell over dead and charred.           “Aloy!”           “It’s okay Varl” She called out as she pushed her hair out of her face, she had run out before getting all of her armor on. “I got it”           “It’s been a while since I’ve seen a Sawtooth, what was it doing around here?” Varl asked as he came around the other side, he had stopped when he saw Aloy jumping off the roof.           “They have a path around here. It’s best we stay inside for the rest of the night” Aloy stated as she walked up while inspecting something she pulled out of the machine, a deep frown on her face.          “What did you find?” Zo called out as the two Nora’s got closer, she was also eyeing the weird piece, “An override?”           Aloy shook her head, “I don’t know what it is. We need to go to the Cauldron as soon as possible; something weird is happening”

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Aloy sighed deeply as SIGMA remained the same even after so many years, sure it still manufactured machines, but the control panel was still right where she left it. She really didn't have the energy right now to go back through the entire cauldron, easily accessing the node with her spear. She waited for the calming voice.           “Aloy.” A smile pulled at her lips as it always did when Gaia addressed her, “I see you've made it. Just as I knew you would” the small pause was enough for Aloy's chest to swell with warmth, for a second she wondered if this is what it felt to have a mother. “My connection to SIGMA is complete. I will now join you throughout the Nora's Scared Land”          “Good to have you” Varl stated from where he stood at the entrance, keeping an eye out just in case.           “Gaia, will you be able to scan this device I pulled out of a Sawtooth? It left its usual path and entered the village we were in” Aloy questioned as she pulled out the object. It had a good weight to it; Aloy had an idea of what it was but wanted to be sure.           “One moment”           The core turned from blue to green and then back to blue as Gaia's form appeared over the core. Her soft smile lifted the tension Aloy didn't know she had in her shoulders; lifting it up, she watched as it was scanned and Gaia hummed.           “It appears to be an Override compote from a Corrupter, it is a later version than one you actively use” Gaia waved her hand as a holo of the machine appeared “It comes from the first patch that was made back in the 21st century, the one you have is newer” Gaia explained as the two machines stood next to each other, there was barely a difference.           “I was afraid of that” Aloy finally voiced as she looked down at the object in hand, “Someone's learned to Override in the Lands”            The air on the mountain was refreshing, even if it brought sadness with it of where she was visiting. There was something she had to get off her chest, and there was only one place for it.           Kotallo looked around as he followed behind Aloy and Varl, the Nora Lands were snowy and cold; much like the Sky Clan territory, which now made sense to why Aloy hadn't been cold those many years ago when they brought down the Bulwark. That was probably the moment he started developing feelings for her, she came through the Forbidden West like the fire her hair mimicked.           “Aloy” Varl called out when he realized where they were heading.           “It’s alright Varl.” She called out as she kept her eyes forward, once they finished their climb, Aloy stepped forward to a small stone and knelt down in front of it and gently brushed it off “Hey Rost, sorry it’s been so long since I’ve been back”           “Rost?” Zo questioned, she’s never heard her talk about him.           “The man who raised Aloy” Varl mumbled as he watched her back, the stiffness of her shoulders were the only indication that she could hear them. “Her father”           “There’s something I have to tell you” Aloy stated as she stood up and turned slightly, her body faced her friends and lover, but her face was still looking at the grave. “The best place I could think of was here, in front of Rost who didn’t even know…” She trailed off, her shoulders pulled tighter than a bow with overdraw “It’s about this place we’re going….it’s a part of the Old Ones”           “Yes, ELEUTHIA-9 I believe you called it” Kotallo nodded as he watched his lover’s face twist into something painful, it made his chest hurt worse than getting kicked by a Leaplasher, he frowned slightly as Aloy took a deep breath and continued, still not looking at them.           “It’s where…” She trailed off again before she finally turned to fully face them, “It’s where the first humans emerged after the Faro Plague died out; it….” She explained quickly, she could feel her throat starting to tighten as she spoke; fearing another panic attack, she had to get this out now. “It’s where I was born…I was made in that Cradle. Before Gaia blew her original self up to save everything from Hades…she reactivated the Cradle and used the DNA of the only person who could stop everything”           “So then Beta….” Zo trailed off.           “Yeah, we’re basically the same person. She was made with that same DNA on the Far Zenith’s ship while they returned to Earth” Aloy nodded “No one knew; the Nora thought I was motherless so they outcasted me” She spat the word with such venom they would think she drank it, she shook her head and took a very shaky breath.           “Aloy” Kotallo mumbled as she stepped back but kept her hands at her side while she turned away from them.           “I-I…I’m a clone. An excite replica of Elisabet Sobeck; both Beta and I are” She shook her head “I didn’t want you two to go into that place and…” she trailed off, unable to actually voice what she feared; hanging her head low she didn’t move when hearing her lover coming up and wrapping her in his strong arm. She sagged against him.           “Did you know” Zo questioned Varl who looked uncomfortable during the entire thing.            “Kinda. I learned about everything when I went with Aloy to where we found Beta” He turned to his own lover and gave his awkward smile. “It was a shock to see another Aloy laying in that bed, she looked so similar but so different at the same time. It’s a lot to wrap your mind around, I think it looks me months before I actually understood everything”           Zo narrowed her eyes at him before she turned away, not missing the sigh he let out as Aloy nodded and pulled away. “It doesn’t matter how you were made. You’re here with us” Zo smiled and stepped forward, she grabbed her hands in her own and held them up between them.           “Thanks Zo” Aloy smiled back, she took a deep breath before letting it out and nodding once. “Alright…time to head to Mother’s Heart”           “How has no one seen us yet?” Varl questioned as they headed back down the mountain, he was looking around and therefore not paying attention, so he didn’t notice the bulkier man stopping in front of him and ran right into that bulky back. “Ow” Varl grumbled as he stumbled back and rubbed at his face, he waved Zo’s laughs as he turned his attention to Kotallo.           The Tenakth Warrior smirked over his shoulder when Varl ran into him but didn’t tease him as he turned to Aloy who started walking to the right. “Is this the way to this Mother’s Heart?”           “I have to check something” She called over her shoulder and continued forward, the three shared a shrug before they followed, they looked around as they entered an old camp; fur lined up that appeared to be drying, stacks of cut wood and a small stone much like the one they just visited.           “Aloy, who-” Varl began but was cut off as Aloy knelt at the stone and started to clean it, as she did to Rost’s.           “Her name was Grata…Odd Grata, as Rost used to call her. She was an outcast like us, I used to gather her food for the winter; before everything happened…she lost her prier beads and indirectly asked me to find them. Every time she talked to me, it was indirect, even as an outcast she followed the Nora Clan’s law” Aloy smiled fondly before finding her beads that appeared to have fallen, she replaced them around the stone before standing and nodding once more.             “I changed my mind, I don’t think I can do this” Aloy stated as they stood down the road from the settlement, the cold claws of panic were digging into her skin and bones; it felt like her legs were filled with Chillwater as she stared at the unforgiving large gates. Even standing as far back as they were, they seemed so large; were they always that large?!           “Breathe lover” Kotallo’s voice came from over her left shoulder and his warm hand settled on her lower back, just above where her armor ended “All is well”           “But it’s not” She whispered back as Varl stepped forward and placed his hand on the armor covering her right forearm.           “Should I go first?” He questioned as Zo shook her head from his other side.           Aloy shook her head, her hair flying as she stepped back; pressing into Kotallo’s firm hand more as her breathing quickened. “You faced a Metal Devil and brought it down. This will be easy, and I will be at your side, Commander” Kotallo mumbled lowly to her, feeling the shiver that ran through her, she gave a sharp nod and reached back to grab his hand.           They shared a quick glance before Aloy released his hand and squared her shoulders, she headed forward with her lover and friends in her shadow.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Lansra frowned deeply as the sounds outside started to grow louder, what were they doing out there that caused them to be so rowdy? This wasn’t some time to host a celebration, there were machines going ramped again and not enough Braves to deal with them; with the thought of another Proving too far down the road to even be suggested, it irked her and put stress on the High Matriarch’s to protect the tribe.           Finally unable to deal with the growing levels, she headed outside to see what the fuss was about; as she drew closer to the sounds, she could make out the excitement coming from the Nora; huffing, she readied herself and went to step outside when she heard the name of that motherless child.           “Aloy’s back!”           “Someone go get the High Matriarch’s!”           “The anointed has returned!”          Sucking in a sharp breath, Lansra found herself frozen in place. The burning hatred of those eyes were still sharp in her mind, but casting her out wasn’t Lansra’s fault; she did right by the laws of the Nora and cast out a child who was born of the machine! Finding her limbs still frozen, Lansra shook herself free of any thoughts and held her head high before stepping out and into the crowd that started to gather.           At the front she found Aloy. Standing tall with a look of determination on her face and green eyes blazing with the same hatred that burned her the last time they spoke; Lansra felt the same disgust from before burn in her stomach at the site of Aloy wearing the Nora Thunder Warrior Armor once more.           Where the armor was once a light moss green to blend into the surrounding foliage, this….disgrace of armor was different where the colors were once the moss green was changed to a bright blue, the under leather appeared lighter and worn from where she was standing, even the ties that held it together were colored a horrid red. What was worse was her face, while she bore the marks of a Seeker, covering the bottom right of her jaw was a splash of white and gray; Lansra couldn’t make it out from where she stood, but she knew one thing.           That motherless demon stood out like a downed machine.            “Aloy” An older woman’s voice called out and the crowd parted as Teersa came down the path with a small set of Braves following after her “You’ve made your way back to us” Teersa continued as she smiled warmly at the child she made a Seeker so many years ago, she faltered slightly when noticing the two outsiders behind her; did Aloy allow them to follow her in?           Before she was able to question, a Brave slipped past her, with three others, and stood between them with their bows drawn. “HALT!” the older man in front snapped as the bow was pulled tight, the arrow pointing between Aloy’s eyes. “You dare bring outsiders to our Lands?!”           The crowd scattered when the Braves pulled their bows, giving the group as much room as they could, a few crying out their outrages at the Braves who were going against the anointed while others cried for the High Matriarch’s to do something.           The Braves that stared down Team Gaia narrowed their eyes when Varl shifted and stood in front of the heavily pregnant outsider, his eyes shifting over to War-Chief Sona who stood off to the side; hand on her own bow and arrow but didn’t draw it before looking back at the four. The other male, stood towering over the Nora, didn’t more, his face in an unimpressed scowl before they noticed he was maimed.           “That outsider. He’s messing an arm” One of the Brave mumbled to the leader of their group who only huffed and kept his attention on Aloy.           “Lower your bows”           Resh could have laughed as Aloy gave a command, who does this bitch think she is?! Just because she could enter All Mother meant nothing, she was still an outcast in his eyes. They didn’t bother giving her an answer even as High Matriarch Teersa called for them to do the same, but they wouldn’t.           Couldn’t!           They would protect the Clan even if the others were blinded.           “Shall we?” The tall outside questioned, shifted his stance slightly, the Brave at the far right shifted their bow to keep an arrow on him. He was bulky, so it would take a few arrows to down him, but that Brave had the fastest draw speed.           “You will not move, Marshall”           Resh’s eyes narrowed again at the exchange and the sudden release of tension in his shoulder, just what was going on here?!           “I’m not here to fight” The demon spoke up again, pulling all attention on her as she kept her hands to her side, “But continue to aim your bows at us and that’ll change”           This time, Resh did laugh; a hard, deep bark of a laugh. “You’re in no place to make demands, Child”           “Gaia” was all Aloy stated, leaving the Braves confused, as the Gaia team were the only ones who heard the simple response.           “Of course”           Before they headed in, Aloy had spoken to Gaia on a personal channel and apparently came up with some form of plan in case things went sour. It appeared that Aloy was now calling on that plan.           “I won’t tell you again, Resh” Aloy stated as she kept her head high, looking in his eyes.           “That’s enough” High Matriarch Lansra called out as she stepped forward and stood on the edge of the landing to the hut she was just in. “Stand down, child. It is you who disgraced our Tribe with your band of outsiders” She called out as she waved her hand “As a Seeker you should have stayed away as the Tribe benefited from it” High Matriarch Lansra slightly jerked as the tall man turned his attention to her, she sucked in a breath before calling out hysterical “A Tenakth!? You dare bring a savage into our Sacred Lands?!”           “Varl” Aloy called gently as the two Matriarchs started yelling at each other, Teersa attempting to calm Lansra down while the other elder was trying to convince the Braves to fire on them. She didn’t look back as she kept her attention on Resh, the man looked all too happy to try and bury an arrow in her face. “Incoming”            War-Chief Sona watched in a mix of shock and pride when she came down the hill and saw her only living child standing tall next to Aloy. He had a different…feeling to him, he seemed more mature than then he left, pride swelled in her chest at the sight. Her hand did grab her bow on reflex when Resh and the others reacted strongly against Aloy, while knowing that it was wrong, it was hard to fight reflexes.           Frowning slightly before steeling her face when Varl spared her a glance before stepping in front of the outsider, who looked like she was going to burst. She had some questions for her runaway son as things clinked in her mind when the outsider reached out and braced a hand against his shoulder, it seemed her son was busy. Watching them with hawk-like perception, she noticed that Aloy had told her son something before he looked up and gave a curse before turning and shielding the outsider in green as a loud cry was heard, and something large dropped from the sky.
