Work Text

Bruce stared at the now lifeless body of the congressman; his wife and others in the room screaming and panicking, another job complete. He stood up from his kneeling position to get on with his packing. He distantly heard a thud across the roof. Glancing up for a brief moment, seeing the familiar silhouette of Slade Wilson, rather Deathstroke really, considering the mask hasn’t been taken off yet.

Bruce went back to his packing, zipping up the rifle case before standing and shucking the strap over his shoulder with a light huff, “Can I help you, Deathstroke?” An eyebrow raised under his mask, shifting his stance slightly to be more on guard. Slade stepped up closer, slipping off the mask finally, his eye rolling over the expanse of Bruce’s body.

Bruce knew what that slight smirk meant, his eyebrows furrowing and stepping back slightly, “I’m sure you know what I’m here for, Little Bat.” He had the familiar drawl to his tone, a hand he hadn’t noticed until now was grazing up the expanse of his hip bone. Bruce sighed, “Not tonight, Slade. I just finished a job and I’m frankly not in the mood nor mindset to put up with your roughness.” He smacked Slade’s hand away before it could reach up to far and change Bruce’s mind.

Slade rolled his eye, “You’ve been using that excuse for a month now, Wayne.” Bruce snapped a glare at him, stalking off before Slade said something that truly ticked him off. “And my excuse hasn’t changed which should mean the obvious to you, Slade. You’re no idiot, put two and two together.” Was all that Bruce said before he jumped down the fire shoot to his parked motorcycle in the alleyway. Slade watching him zoom off into the distance, his scowl etching into his face deeper the longer he watched Bruce drive away.

—

Bruce woke up with a groan, morning sunlight blinding him temporarily, “Good morning, Master Bruce.” He sighed, giving Alfred a gravelly ‘morning’ in response. He took a beat or two before actually getting out of bed to fulfill his morning routine. Teeth brushed, stubble shaven, skincare done and washed away, he finally stepped out of his bedroom to join Dick at the dining table. His son had already drunk half his orange juice and was finishing up his scrambled eggs.

“Mornin’ Dad!” His son was ever joyous in the mornings, never knowing how he did it. He grumbled incoherently in response, Alfred passing him a mug of black coffee. He got to reading the newspaper Alfred had set down in front of him. Something about Lex Luthor’s new ‘passion project’, some other things about a drug ring being busted in Star City and Haly’s Circus; He made a note to himself to inform Dick about the circus, it was his original family afterall. His eyes got snagged on an excerpt written by The Daily Planet’s Clark Kent, he always enjoyed his articles, the man was clearly intelligent with his questions and how he went about interviews.

Bruce thought about the day he might have an interview with– “You have meetings and an interview scheduled for this week, Master Bruce.” He set down the newspaper, passing it to Dick and tapping the Haly’s Circus section, grinning slightly at Dick’s intrigued gaze. He turned back to Alfred, “Who’s the interviewer this time?” Sipping his coffee before Alfred answered with, “Mister Clark Kent of the Daily Planet, sir.” Bruce hummed in amusement at the coincidence. He nodded to Alfred, standing up and telling Dick to go ahead and get dressed for school.

The car ride to Gotham Academy wasn’t a long one, but just lengthy enough to give Dick enough time to ramble about whatever was on his mind, which this morning had been about Haly’s Circus. He smiled and glanced at Dick every now and then to show he was listening. They eventually pulled up to the gate, Dick grabbing his bookbag, reaching over the console to give Bruce a tight hug. “Bye Dad!” He grinned, running up to meet with his friends. Bruce smiled at the scene before driving off to Wayne Industries.

He parked in his reserved spot, locking the car and heading inside, greeting the security guards and grinning at his receptionist, Miss Bailey. His ride up to his office was interrupted by other colleagues speaking with him, including his father’s old friend Lucious Fox. He stepped into the hallway that led to his office, saying hello to his secretary, Sarah. “Good morning, Mr. Wayne. You have a meeting with the board of directors at 1:30pm and a meeting with Lexcorp’s CEO and marketing team at 4:15pm. I already dropped off your usual coffee and breakfast burrito in your office.” He gave her a warm smile, “That’s greatly appreciated, Sarah. Do you know if Lexcorp’s CEO is

actually

coming or is that what you were told to put down on the schedule?” His eyebrow raised, already knowing the answer.

Lex Luthor wasn’t the type of man to burden himself with meetings of that caliber, especially meetings held in Gotham of all places. Sarah gave him an apologetic smile, which meant what he already inferred was indeed factual. He shrugged, reassuring Sarah that she didn’t do anything wrong.

He let out a sigh as he finally sat down in his cushiony office chair, last night was still on his mind. He thought about the husky look in Slade’s eye, he bit his lip slightly, shifting his sitting position so that the inseam of his slacks didn’t rub so directly on his clit. Before anything could get too heated in his office, his work phone chimed. It was a notification from a client.

Unlocking his phone so he could read the full message, he saw he was being contacted for a hit. “

Hello Hades,

” His name for this line of work, “

I require your skills in handling a rival of mine. He’s known as Kal-El and his base of operations is in Metropolis. I’ve heard word of him visiting Gotham, which I’m aware is your usual hunting grounds. I’m offering 10 million upfront and 10 million after you complete this job. Respond if you’re interested.

”

His eyebrows furrowed as he read the message. 20 million total just to take out one guy? How aggravating must you be for a rival gangster to put this much money on your death? Bruce shrugged, a job is a job and he’s never one to turn down 20 million. He pulled up an incognito tab on his laptop, deciding to research Kal-El in between meetings. He was aware of Kal-El, there was rarely anyone who hasn’t, what wasn’t known about him was his appearance. No one’s ever gotten a clear photograph of him and lived to see the next morning. A clear message to anyone who would dare look into his affairs.

What most people didn’t have, however, was a connection to the black market and sites for other illegal activity. He did some digging and found out where Kal-El would be staying during his time in Gotham. He also found out some names of his men, one was particularly intriguing, named Kon-El. Bruce assumed this was a relative of Kal-El’s, but he wasn’t hired to take out Kon-El, so he sidelined that tab for another day. Eventually 1:30pm rolled around and he had to actually focus on business involving Wayne Industries.

—

Sizzling could be heard as a loud thud echoed around the warehouse when the body slumped over. Kal-El leered at the carcass of his once trusted associate, his eyes turning back to blue from the deep red they become when he uses his heat vision. “Clean this up.” He turned, swiping at whatever drops of blood had been left on his button-up’s collar, disgust lurking on his face. “Fucking hell, I despise the stench of burning flesh.” His sneer just grew deeper as he exited the warehouse, buttoning his waistcoat back up and one of his men handed him his suit jacket. Another underling opened his car door, sliding onto the comfortable leather.

Kon-El was already seated next to him, scrolling through the tablet that held all his schedules. “How did the interrogation go?” Kal huffed, his frustration evident, “If by interrogation you mean a man constantly begging for mercy while sniveling like a pathetic rat, then I’d say it went amazingly.” His sarcastic answer was received with an eye-roll from his younger brother. “I was prepared for that outcome, I did some digging of my own and tracked down our friend’s boss.” Kal’s eyebrows raised at that, turning his head from the window to look at Kon. He smirked, “That’s great news. Much thanks, little brother.” Kon smiled, he always enjoyed receiving praise from Kal.

As their driver took them back to their office building, Kal caught a glance at one of the many billboards in Metropolis while they were at a stop light. It was one of Bruce Wayne, the prince of Gotham. Kal’s had his eye on Wayne for a while now, mostly due to an aggravating attraction for the man. It was never hard to imagine those dull blue eyes filling up with tears and those rosy lips stretched around his cock. Lucky for Kal, Wayne wasn’t shy of modeling for underwear companies like other celebrities, so imagining other fantasies was rather easy for Kal.

However, now isn’t the time to pop a boner in front of his little brother, he wouldn’t hear the end of it from Kon. They finally make it to the office, Kal and Kon stepping from opposite sides and walking up the steps to the entrance. Kal fixed any missed kinks in his suit before breaking off from Kon, who had his own business to do today. He made his way up to his office, stepping out the elevator.

His gaze landed on his assistant, Maria, who was currently in the middle of a business call and clearly too busy to chat with Kal. She gave him a quick glance and smile before getting back to her focus. He entered his office and set it to privacy mode, luckily his office was already soundproof, so poor Maria didn’t have to hear any noises that he wouldn’t want to befall her ears.

It was then he finally acknowledged his earlier thoughts of a certain Gothamite, his dick twitching already. He sat at his desk, opening a drawer and pulled out a condom. He may be horny as shit but he was not about to soil one of his favorite suits. He unbuttoned his slacks, sliding them down to his mid-thigh. He untucked his erection from his boxers, a small wet patch on the front from some leaking pre-cum.

He rolled the condom on, biting his lip at the slight friction. He spat on his palm, rubbing up and down to get everything slick. It started off slow, his imagination already working up a fantasy. Wayne was on his knees under his desk, his hands working Kal’s cock at a slow pace. He wrapped his around the tip while his hands gave more attention to his base. Kal threw his head back with a low groan, speeding up his hands. Wayne’s eyes started welling up with tears as he went lower on Kal’s dick, his lips spreading wider as they reached closer to his pelvis.

He wished he could actually tangle his hands in Wayne’s most likely soft locks. His hands clamped tighter around his cock, edging closer to release by the second. Wayne’s nose was engulfed in curly hairs in his mind, completely sheathed in Wayne’s throat. Eventually Kal came, cum spurting into the little space inside the condom while he gasped for some air, his head clearing up rather fast.

He slipped off the latex, tying it and throwing it away before tucking himself back into his boxers and fixing his slacks. After staring at the ceiling for a minute or two, he finally corrected his sitting position and actually got work on the documents piled on his desk. Sighing to himself at all the signing and reading he had to deal with, once again.

—

Kal knew it was time to make his way to Gotham, he would be staying there for dealings involving both his citizen persona and his criminal activities. It’d be a 3 month stay from what he gathered, already having shipped some clothes and other necessities to the safehouse he had in Gotham. Kon would be coming as well of course, so he left his office to go pick up Kon so they could depart before the sky turned orange.

After picking Kon up from his office, they walked out the building, bidding their assistants and other employees goodbye. While in the car, Kal thought about his life as a citizen. His cover-up was a man known as Clark Kent, a friendly and charming reporter. He was currently on a short vacation from the Daily Planet and was going to Gotham mostly for a story on Bruce Wayne. Living the double life was tiring and oftentimes Kal nearly faked his death for Clark Kent so that he could focus solely on his gang, however, Kon would always convince him otherwise. It was important for gathering intel, is what Kon had insisted everytime.

The only person aware of this double life was Lois Lane, she usually covered for him anytime he didn’t have an excuse, which he’d be forever thankful for. She was also his old flame, but they knew it wasn’t going to work out between them long-term and she promised not to out him so long as he never engaged in human-trafficking or anything of the sort. Lucky for her, he thought anything involving human slaves and similar was sickening.

As their car boarded the ferry to get to Gotham he decided to take a much needed nap, knowing Kon would wake him when they reached the other side.

—

Bruce saw the sun setting through his wall length windows, deciding it was time to get his things together and head home. He walked out his office, locking it up and waving goodbye to Sarah. It was around 7:00 pm, so Alfred most likely picked Dick up from school already and was preparing dinner.

He drove himself home, using it as a moment of privacy so that he could call his client about any details he needed to know. He turned on his voice changer and pressed call. It took a moment for his client to answer, “Yes, how may I help you?” It was familiar but Bruce couldn’t place the voice to a name, he left it alone though, he wasn’t being paid to figure out his client after all.

“I was only calling to see if you had any other details regarding Kal-El’s assassination that I should be informed of.” He kept his voice monotone, not wanting to give anything away. The person on the other side of the call was silent for a minute, “I want this job completed within the 3 months that he’s staying in Gotham. I figure this should be more than enough time for you to complete this job, no?” Bruce glanced at the phone before putting his eyes back on the road, “No, sir. That time frame is perfectly amicable.” The client hummed in approval, “If that’s all, you may carry out your task however you would like.” A beep sounded out, letting Bruce know the client hung up.

The sun had fully set by the time Bruce pulled into the garage at Wayne Manor. He locked the car, and walked inside. Just as expected, Alfred had been making dinner and Dick was sitting at the dining table, possibly working on homework from school. He set his briefcase down by the entryway and hung his coat, making his way over to the kitchen and ruffling Dick’s hair as he walked by him, “Whatcha working on, chum?” Looking over his son’s shoulders, seeing shapes and equations.

Dick let out a frustrated sigh, “Just some geometry homework.” He turned to look at Bruce, a smile on his face, “Nothing I can’t handle though.” Focusing back on the papers in front of him. Bruce chuckled lightly, heading to his seat at the table as Alfred had finished setting up the table and was most likely preparing to present dinner.

—

Dick had long since gone to bed and Alfred was doing whatever he did after hours, Bruce had been packing up his rifle case for a stakeout at Kal-El’s place. The drive wasn’t far, parking his motorcycle in an alleyway like he usually does. He looked around for a beat before his eyes landed on the fire escape on the side of the building that was across from Kal-El’s building.

He climbed up in a matter of minutes and started setting-up his rifle, just so he could watch Kal-El’s movements for now. He wasn’t antsy to kill him just yet, this was an extremely infamous man and Bruce was itching to know every possible fact to know. He always got restless when someone slipped under his radar, it hurt his ego a bit.

He laid out a tarp and put a blanket on top, knowing this would be a long night and wanted some sort of comfort for his body rather than a cold rooftop. He finished his set up and looked out through the scope for the first time tonight, immediately locking onto a broad back in a room on the highest floor. This man was behind a pristine desk so he already deducted this was Kal-El.

The man had finally sat down on the chair behind that desk and Bruce was finally able to get a look at his face. Wow, is it even possible to be that attractive and be a gangster? He was used to all the ugly faces he saw with ties to the mafia, but this was a pleasant surprise. Maybe this stakeout wouldn’t be terribly boring now that Bruce actually had motivation to stare at this man all night.

A few hours already passed, Bruce exhaling a breath into the chilly Gotham air. He could see it fog up out of his peripheral vision, his fingers only being a little numb from the slightly biting winds of being so high up in Gotham at night. He focused back on Kal-El, continuing to analyze his striking features.

Cerulean eyes that left Bruce feeling cold, even without the current temperature. He also had curly black hair that was slicked back, a small coily strand falling out from the rest of his locks. Bruce wanted to run his fingers through it, tug out the tangles and pull it during rough se– Bruce ignored his distracting thoughts, a slight pink burning at his cheeks for how unprofessional he was being right now. Kal-El also had an unfairly attractive jawline; currently tensed from what Bruce could only assume frustration.

Bruce blinked for a split-second and could’ve swore he made eye contact with Kal-El. He truly focused back on the man and he was like before, with his eyes facing his underlings. Bruce might be seeing things due to lack of sleep, which wasn’t common. He decided it was surprising enough that he should get a little shuteye, Kal-El would still be there when he woke from his power nap.

—

Kal had been acutely aware of the rifle trained on him for the past 4 and a half hours. Honestly, he felt more amused than threatened. The gunman hadn’t even bothered shooting at Kal during the whole time, most likely just stalking him for tonight. This was possibly going to be a feeling he’d have to get used to for his stay.

He smirked to himself, glancing back at his stalker and meeting their eyes for a brief second before turning back to his men, who were currently giving their debriefs of the week. He could hear their heart pick up in speed after they made eye contact. His smirk only widened in amusement. A few minutes later he heard their heart slow down in pace, as if they were resting.

He was a bit shocked to be honest, to lower your guard enough that you’re taking a nap while stalking your target? Either you’re extremely confident in your abilities or insanely stupid. He decided to go with that second option. After an hour of more debriefs and paperwork, he got up and called it a night.

Seeing as he could still hear the heartbeat of his stalker, he thought he might as well be the stalker for a bit. He flew out onto the roof directly across from the other’s position and watched their figure lay flat on a worn-out blanket. He watched their chest rise and fall, finding a calm from just watching them sleep.

—

Bruce woke up with a sudden start, how long had he been asleep?? He glanced through the lens and saw no sign of Kal-El. His heart raced as he rushed to pack away his equipment. He didn’t want to risk staying in a spot where he couldn’t watch Kal-El’s every move. He slung the case over his shoulder and slid down the ladder of the fire escape, landing on the pavement with a grunt punched out of him. He regained his senses quickly, sliding onto his motorcycle, putting his helmet on and gearing it up.

It didn’t take him long to speed out of the alleyway and onto the deserted road, seeing as it was currently 3:46am. His drive back home after missions were usually quiet and serene, right now all he could hear was his heartbeat. He’s not usually so panicked but something just didn’t feel right about Kal-El not being where he was previously.

He got back home and parked his bike. He opened the door to the workspace in his garage for these missions and shucked off his case onto the table. He closed the workspace, headed into the manor, trudged to his bedroom, almost slammed the door and fell to his bed. He had a dreamless sleep that night.

Distantly, a certain Kryptonian had watched him zoom off into the night with a playful glint in his eyes, this would be a fun 3 months.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Morning came sooner than Bruce had hoped, a groan escaping his lips as sun got caught between the slips of his eyelids. Finally kicking his legs over the side of his bed, sliding his feet into his cozy slippers. It was more of a shuffle of his feet than a proper walking motion as he finished his morning routine and made his way down the stairs and to the dining room. Dick was scooping the last of his eggs on his fork before shoving them in his mouth.

Bruce smiled at his son’s lack of manners, sitting down at the table for his coffee and daily newspaper. His eyes skimmed for anything interesting before his eyes zeroed in on a pair of blue eyes. The memory of a similar pair of eyes glancing back at him through his scope appeared in his consciousness. He inwardly shook his head, clearing his mind to refocus on the paper. Turns out those eyes belonged to none other than Clark Kent. His photo was included next to another one of his excerpts, not unusual for a newspaper company to do, he was just caught off guard by how similar the shade of blue was to Kal-El’s.

He passed the paper to Dick’s awaiting hands, letting him skim for anything he’d be interested in. After a while, they both got up to get going, bidding Alfred goodbye. Bruce could feel his son’s repeated glances, sighing before asking, “Is something on your mind?” Giving Dick a quick glance before putting his eyes back on the road ahead. Dick didn’t answer right away, most likely stalling if anything, “So.. Why did you come back so late last night?” It was an innocent question. His son and Alfred were aware of his second job, just not the details. It wasn’t unusual for Dick to question Bruce if he had been gone for a bit longer than most nights.

“Nothing serious, just a different job than normal this time.” Bruce didn’t like lying, but it’s more like telling half-truths, not a full lie. Dick didn’t need to know about how he was fawning over his target all night and fell asleep on the job. Bruce grumbled a bit when he recalled how he gawked at Kal-El for nearly 5 hours, a light pink dusting his cheeks out of embarrassment.

Dick didn’t reply so Bruce simply assumed that answer was good enough, which was appreciated considering they were pulling up to the school right about now anyways. Dick waved goodbye before walking to his friends. Bruce sighed in relief, usually when Dick asked that kind of question it led to an argument about Bruce’s safety and how Dick didn’t want to possibly lose another parent. It never ended well and he wasn’t in the mood to deal with an angry 15 year old.

—

The elevator ride up to his office was as busy as ever, hello’s and how are you’s being thrown at many of his employees on the way up. He let out a sigh as he finally stepped out onto his office’s floor. A quick greeting to Sarah and a crisp shut to his door and Bruce was free to relax slightly. Of course, Sarah had already dropped off his breakfast burrito and coffee, already taking a long drink. Last night was more tiring than Bruce had realized it seems.

After a few minutes of setting up his workspace, Sarah knocked and let herself in, “Today you have another meeting with Lexcorp to finalize any other documents and agreements at 2:20pm and an interview with the Daily Planet’s Clark Kent at 5:15pm.” She set down a few folders, most likely some paperwork, and walked out with a quiet click of the door.

Bruce took in the information, his mood lightening up at the mention of his interview. He already smiled at the images that popped up in his head of Mr. Kent. Snapping out of his daydreams, he opened his computer to actually work on the documents for that meeting in a few hours.

His appointment rolled around in no time, unfortunately, he hated dealing with Lexcorp. It’s like Luthor managed to indoctrinate his employees to think the same way as him, at least most of them. He put away the unrelated paperwork and hid the tab that he had open for research on Kal-El. He sees some silhouettes walking up to his frosted glass doors, watching the doorknob twist and a creak of the door. In walked Lexcorp’s marketing team and shockingly, Lex Luthor himself.

Bruce didn’t show his shock but that didn’t mean it wasn’t present. He’d been half-expecting to see Luthor after the dealings were finalized, not the meeting prior to it. All the same, Bruce could feel all decent emotions drain at the sight of the bald-headed narcissist. He was able to mask his emotions so that his scowl wasn’t obvious, keeping his tone professional as well.

The meeting, thankfully, wasn’t meant to be a long one and was over within an hour. Luthor had been silent for the entire meeting, which Bruce had no complaints about. The team organized the documents, standing up to take their leave after thanking Bruce. Luthor lurked around for a minute, which Bruce was aware of but chose to ignore.

Finally deciding to speak, Luthor stepped up to Bruce’s desk with a misplaced confidence, “How’ve you been, Wayne?” Hearing his name spill from Luthor’s mouth made a small shiver run down his neck. “What do you want, Luthor..” It wasn’t professional, but the man had been lingering for way longer than Bruce was comfortable with. “I’m just concerned with your well-being, Wayne, no need to be so hostile.” He could practically hear Luthor’s sneer.

At this point Bruce finally looked at Luthor, who was of course right in front of his desk and way too close to Bruce’s personal bubble. The man’s gangly fingers tapped on his desk, sliding as Luthor walked around it with calculated steps. Those fingers then picked up a decoration that had been sitting at the edge of Bruce’s desk, turning it around and inspecting it as he gave two shits about it, setting it back down. He eventually rounded Bruce’s desk and had just fully invaded Bruce’s space, setting his hands on Bruce’s armrests.

He leaned in close, right next to Bruce’s ear, “Have you decided how you’re gonna get rid of Kal-El for me? Hm?” He leaned back, thank god, standing upright and sliding his hands back into his pocket, as if to appear ‘laid-back’. Bruce finally processed his words though, shock slapping him across the face. “

You’re

my client??” It started to make sense now. Luthor has always been shady, pretending as if he wasn’t making weapons of mass destruction for warring countries for profit.

Luthor, however, seemed delighted by his shock, “Why so surprised, Wayne? Or should I call you Hades? What’s your preference?” That smirk made him feel ill, how did Luthor figure it out? What gave him away? Bruce didn’t want the panic to show, instead he forced himself to calm down and glare Luthor down. “How did you find out?” Luthor only looked more amused, giving a shrug before turning and heading to the door, “Just focus on getting the job done.” He flashed one last smirk before the door clicked behind him.

A breath that he didn’t realize he’d been holding finally escaped him. Now he let the panic set-in, he had to figure out how Luthor put it together. Just Bruce’s luck, another tedious task to go along with Kal-El’s assassination. He rubbed his temple, stress seeping through his body, into all the cracks and crevices. He needed to calm down, get a clear head. His day wasn’t over yet and he still had an important interview to get through.

—

As the sun got closer to setting, the clock struck 5:15pm, meaning any second now, a handsome reporter would walk in and Bruce would finally meet him. It was funny, Bruce was the celebrity and billionaire in this situation and yet he was more excited to meet this reporter from Metropolis. How ironic, Bruce could only chuckle a little. He heard the doorknob turning, looking up in time to see a head of curls poke in through the opening. He saw black framed glasses next, and then a pair of oddly familiar

cerulean

blue eyes. He quickly studied the man, his eyes taking in every detail he could, from the slightly untamed curls to the baggy dress shirt.

He stood up, rounding his desk to meet the man in the middle and shake hands, like the gentlemen he’s known to be. “Hello, you must be Clark Kent, right? From the Daily Planet.” He gave a warm smile, dropping the man’s hand and sitting on the couch. Mr. Kent took a seat across from him on a couch identical to one Bruce was seated at. The reporter gave a small smile, pulling out a recorder, “Yes, yes I am. It’s very nice to finally meet you, Mr. Wayne. I’ve been wanting to interview you for a while now, you don’t mind me starting the recording now, do you?”

Bruce raised an eyebrow in amusement, how curious, “Just Bruce is fine, no need to be so formal, of course you can start recording. If I’m being honest, I’ve also been anticipating our meeting. I enjoy your articles in the newspaper, you’re a gifted reporter if I do say so myself.” Mr. Kent looked adorably shocked at this notion, albeit only for a split-second. “Oh-! That’s very kind of you, Bruce. I do indeed give it my all to give my readers something enjoyable in the papers.”

“So, what has brought you here today, so far from Metropolis.” As if, Bruce thought, the cities were practically neighbors. “Well, I know I said I’ve been wanting to interview you, but the reason of interest is because I’ve always been so fascinated by how you carry yourself in public and yet your company has produced so many projects that help people in need and further the future of humanity. I just want to know how you do it, how do you balance it all?”

Bruce answered Mr. Kent’s questions and more, time passing faster than he realized. The time was 6:17pm by the time Mr. Kent finished his questioning. “Well, Mr. Kent, it has been a delight with you here, I don’t think I’ve enjoyed an interview like this before.” Mr. Kent chuckled, a glint in his eyes that Bruce couldn’t quite place, “Well it’s only my job, and please, Clark is just fine.” He turned off the recorder, “Quite honestly, I wasn’t expecting such an intellectual conversation. I guess you could say I was fooled by your good looks and charisma.” He had a playful grin on his face, his eyes raking up and down Bruce’s body.

A very subtle blush crept up Bruce’s neck, “Oh? I’m hurt, Clark. All this time you only thought of me in such a superficial light. At least I didn’t doubt your smarts even with how attractive you are.” Clark tilted his head, clearly he wasn’t expecting Bruce to tease him back. “Well, since you enjoyed our discussion so much, we could exchange numbers and have another one, perhaps over a cup of coffee?” Even though he suggested it, there was still a small pit in his stomach that was nervous about Clark’s answer.

Clark, however, only seemed to get more intrigued, “How could I refuse such an offer from the one and only Bruce Wayne.” He quickly jotted down some digits and slid it across the coffee table in Bruce’s direction, he picked it up and smiled up at Clark, “Fantastic, I’ll get in touch with you soon.” Clark only smiled in response. They both stood, shaking hands once more before bidding farewell.

—

Bruce said goodbye to Sarah, exiting the elevator and walking to his car. The drive home was silent, just what Bruce needed, honestly. He heard his other work phone ping, opening the notification, looking back at the road.

It was from an unknown number, Bruce looked again seeing an address. Bruce didn’t know whether to message them back or ignore it. He decided to just ignore it until he got home, paying his full focus back on driving.

He arrived home, parked and walked into the house, getting slapped in the face with the delectable scent of Alfred’s cooking. Seemed like it was wagyu steak and roasted broccoli for dinner tonight. Dick was watching television in the living room, happily chatting with his boyfriend, Wally West. He thought the kid was nice and didn’t mind Dick bringing him over every once in a while, considering Wally lived in Central City.

He walked behind the couch to pat Dick on the head and greet Wally, getting a complaint from Dick and a smile from Wally. He walked into his home office and decided to research Kal-El more, he was barely getting anywhere other than shitty pictures and equally shitty conspiracy theories. One of them was claiming Kal-El and his little brother, Kon-El, were aliens and had powers like a god. Bruce rolled his eyes at that one when he saw it, yeah metahumans existed but none that matched that description.

By the time Alfred rang him for dinner, he’d barely gotten anything new. He slammed his laptop shut with a huff and shuffled out to the dining room. Apparently, Wally’s spending the night too, considering he and Dick were already at the dinner table. Bruce supposed it was fine as long as Wally’s parents were okay with it, it was Friday after all. Dinner was entertaining with Wally here, he always knew how to liven up a place.

Wally went to the guest room and Dick went to his room as the time rolled around 10pm. Bruce was prepping for another stakeout at Kal-El’s building, recalling the suspicious message he received earlier on his drive home. He opened the app, inspecting the text again. He decided that he could go to the address, it wasn’t far from Kal-El’s place, so if it turned out to be a bust, he could just go back to his original plan.

He managed to find an alley to park, climbing up the fire escape and grabbing his binoculars, looking up the scale of the building, spotting an open window and settling in to watch it closely. Soon enough a man stepped into the room, another body following close behind him. Bruce squinted to get a better visual, quickly realizing the man is Kal-El, he could tell from the slick back hair and a quick glimpse of those eyes.

It didn’t take long for Bruce to also figure out that the women with Kal-El was there for certain reasons. Bruce gulped as he watched her drag Kal-El’s button-up down his shoulders while he sat on the bed, her maroon nails dragging against his biceps. His hands were on her hips, toying with, what Bruce assumed, her underwear. His button-up fell to the floor and she moved her hands to pull her dress down her salacious body. His hands moved behind her back and, most likely, unclipped her lacy bralette.

Bruce felt wrong for watching so intensely, was it wrong for him to feel slightly jealous? He shook his head, a blush creeping up his neck and burning his cheeks, why would he feel jealous? This is obviously something he shouldn’t be watching, but he just couldn’t pull his eyes away from how his hands gripped her bare hips and pulled her down to straddle him on the bed.

Bruce clenched his thighs tighter together, desperately trying to ignore the feeling that was slowly creeping upon him. He refocused on the scene playing out in front of him. The woman was now slowly rocking up and down, grinding down against Kal-El’s fingers, her mouth open while she scratched at his shoulder blades, his mouth locked around one of her supple breasts, his other hand squeezing and pinching her nipple.

Bruce bit the inside of his lip, trying to ignore the pounding in his ears, his thighs giving just enough friction against his clit to satisfy him for the time being. A slight groan escaping his pursed lips. Kal-El had changed their positions, considering he was fucking the woman into the bed, he had a handful of her hair while he shoved her face into the pillow. His other hand was gripping her hips, from what Bruce could tell, it was gonna bruise by next morning.

Even from Bruce’s spot, he could tell how rough and brutal his thrusts were, the fat from her ass rippling each time Kal-El’s pelvis smacked against it. The pounding in his ears only got more incessant. He didn’t realize his attraction to Kal-El was this strong, yet here he was, soaking right through his underwear.

He watched as both figures reached their climax, Kal-El thrusting a few more times before he visibly let out a grunt, pausing for a minute to catch his breath before sliding out of the woman. Bruce saw him disappear into a joint room, before he came back with a wet hand towel, wiping the woman and himself down.

He watched as Kal-El rifled through his drawer, pulling out a pair of boxers and pulling them on. Bruce kept watching him, having forgotten the woman was still there, curling up under the sheets. Kal-El turned off the lights and walked up to the window that Bruce watched through, looking up and meeting Bruce’s eyes straight-on, smirking and winking before closing the window and curtains.

Bruce sat-back, shocked, before he caught his breath from the initial panic of being caught. He clutched his chest, right above his heart, feeling how fast it was going. He also noticed the cold breeze passing through his legs and the uncomfortable feeling of cold, soiled underwear. Bruce sighed, what the fuck did he just witness.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Kal smiled to himself as he shut the window, watching his stalker pack up in a hurry and jump off the roof and drive off. He couldn’t help himself when he found out he was being watched, he thoroughly enjoyed giving the person a show. He heard the soft shuffle of sheets moving, turning to the woman that was now resting in his bed, “Mmm, Kal-El? Are you coming to bed?” He smiled at her, going to join her in the silky sheets. Morning rolled around, not that it made much of a difference to Kal, he always felt that the night cycle was far too short for his liking. He rose up, stretching a bit before sliding on some clean boxers and comfortable lounge pants. He brushed his teeth and shaved his light stubble. He went to go make some coffee, waiting for the woman, Mary, he thought was her name. It didn’t matter what her name was though, if Kal was being honest. He’d slept with many kinds of people.

While he stood at the counter, waiting for the Keurig to signal it being finished, he felt thin arms wrap around his torso and semi-familiar nails drag softly against his chest, brushing past the hair he had growing there. He hummed, feeling her rest her cheek against the span of his back, “I suppose I must go, Kal-El. Duty calls.” She huffed, dropping her arms away and placing a fleeting kiss on his cheek before silently walking back to his room, as Kal recalled that her job had been in the police force.

He’d been sipping his coffee, leaning against the counter, phone in hand and scrolling through a news article when he heard soft footsteps walking closer to him. He looked up and met Mary’s eyes, seeing her dressed in the same clothes from last night. She gave him a sweet smile before leaving through his door. Kal was honestly relieved, he wasn’t a big fan of shooing away the people he brought over, sometimes people just didn’t understand the meaning of one night stand, and everytime Kal had to send them away.

Just then, interrupting his train of thought, he heard a ping sound off on his phone. Shifting his attention to the little screen in his hand, catching a glimpse of a notification from Bruce Wayne before the pop-up disappeared. Interest piqued, he opened it swiftly, reading the little blue blob.

“

Hello, Clark. It’s Bruce from yesterday, in case you didn’t save my number onto your phone. I was hoping we could meet today, like we had discussed yesterday. If you’re interested, please come to Wayne Industries and wait for me at the entrance around 5:00pm.

”

Kal raised his eyebrows, surprised that Bruce had already reached out to him. He’d assumed Bruce wouldn’t reach out until a few days had passed, or Kal would’ve had to reach out himself, so he was pleasantly surprised by Bruce’s initiative. Shooting Bruce a quick confirmation before getting ready to handle the business he had to attend to before then.

—

It was about 4:30pm by the time Kal had finished up the paperwork that was abandoned last night for more

entertaining

activities. He stepped out of his office building, brushing some hairs that had fallen back into place, leaving a singular curl for a more fashionable aspect. He started walking down the sidewalk, needing a breath of fresh air after sitting in his office for 3 hours. It was about 30 minutes into his walk when he noticed he was being followed, by 2 people to be exact. One of them was about 30 feet behind him and the other was on the other side of the road, following not too far behind himself.

Kal was amused, the gall these people had to be following him in broad daylight? He didn’t know whether to think they were extremely confident in their abilities or just plain idiotic. He went with the latter, considering they didn’t seem to be important to whatever organization they were part of, no smart leader would send out their best people to take out another person with this many witnesses around.

He decided he could have a little fun and tease them, before taking them out of course. He took a swift turn into a more isolated part of the city, taking more turns before tucking into an alleyway, hearing the one that was behind him start to panic, judging by his heartbeat picking up in pace. He heard the second one cross the street in a rush, both of them scampering around to find him. He heard the footfalls drawing closer to his little hiding spot, seeing one of them pass the entrance before Kal grabbed him around the neck and put him in a chokehold, snapping his neck before the other could blink.

Speaking of the other man, he watched in horror as his buddy’s body slumped to the ground, looking up at the bloodthirsty look in Kal’s eyes. He bolted, tripping over his feet and stumbling every now and then in a panic to get away. What a coward, Kal thought, he at least figured they would put up a fight, not just run away with their tails tucked between their legs.

He sighed, trudging around the corner the man had gone, seeing a sleek car parked on the side of the road, one of the passenger doors open. The second thing he noticed was Kon pinning the runaway to the wall by his throat. Kal took his time to walk up, wanting the other man to struggle longer, knowing Kon doesn’t really ease up on anything. “Don’t kill him yet, brother. I want to interrogate this one.” Kon gave him a nod, turning the man so that he could pin his arms against his back without much struggle.

“Oh and have someone take care of the other one in the back alley around that corner, if you could be so kind.” Kon rolled his eyes, he should’ve known Kal had killed the other one. Sending some of their men to go deal with it, since Kon was busy handling the one that was actually breathing still.

—
Kal checked the time again, seeing it was almost 5:00pm, he had his driver drop him off at his safehouse, finding some clothes that Clark Kent would wear and pulling them on. He brushed out his hair, letting the curls fall freely and grabbing his non-prescription glasses, grabbing his keys for his personal car. It didn’t take long to arrive at Wayne Industries, parking his car near the building and walking up the steps of the entrance. He saw Bruce wasn’t there yet and checked his watch again, 5:25pm. That’s odd, Kal didn’t think Bruce was the type to no-show when was the one who reached out.

He gave a curious glance upwards of the looming building. He walked in through the glass doors, heading to the receptionist desk. “Hello sir, how may I be of help today?” She gave him a sugary sweet smile, he smiled back, “Yes, um, I was supposed to meet with Mr. Wayne at the entrance and I was wondering if he’s already left ahead of me?” She tilted her head, shaking her head, “No sir, Mr. Wayne hasn’t left his office yet, but you can go ahead to his office if you’re worried.” He nodded, thanking her for her time and heading to the elevators, pressing the top floor button and waiting patiently for the doors to open again.

The ding rang out and the doors slid open, he stepped out and greeted Bruce’s secretary, Sarah, if he remembered correctly. She nodded at him, continuing to talk on the phone. He heard some arguing in Bruce’s office, opening the door and poking his head in before fully walking into the office, shutting the door behind him. He saw a man with silver hair standing in front of Bruce. They seemed to be engaged in a heated standoff, both glaring at each other and haven’t noticed his presence yet. “Am I interrupting?” He made sure his voice was clear and firm, wanting to make himself known. Bruce looked at him first, “Oh, I’m sorry Clark, I didn’t mean to keep you waiting. You didn’t interrupt either, he was just leaving.” The way Bruce had said that obviously didn’t leave any room for argument. The other man huffed, shoving his shoulder into Kal’s while he stormed out of the office.

—

Bruce had been wrapping up on the last of his paperwork, organizing them into folders to hand off to Sarah when he heard a click of his door. He looked up, mostly expecting Clark because of the message he sent hours ago. He was shocked to see Slade there, so he gave him an inquiring look before putting the folders into a stack and setting them to the side. He stood up, slightly cautious about Slade’s presence, “What are you doing here?” Slade didn’t respond, instead he walked up to Bruce, sliding his hands over his waist, a feeling he was more than familiar with, “I wanted to see you, I feel like you’ve been avoiding me lately.” Lips brushed against his neck, a hand had slid down to his ass and the other caressed the small of his back. Bruce gave a small groan at the touches, before snapping back to reality and slipping out of Slade’s grasp.

“I’m not in the mood, Slade.” He looked at his desk, his hand drawing circles on the smooth wood out of habit. Slade gave him an incredulous look, scoffing as he crossed his arms, “You said that last time and the time before that. Why? You move on again?” His brows furrowed at the accusation, it was true, but that didn’t mean Bruce couldn’t read between the lines. “What’s that supposed to mean?” A frown grew on his face, Slade rolled his eyes, “You’re an intelligent man, Wayne, don’t pretend you don’t know what I mean. You’ve slept with so many men, I’m honestly shocked you don’t have a STD with how many dicks you’ve let into that loose hole of yours.”

Bruce gaped at that, “How dare you say that to me. You don’t have any room to talk, what with that history of yours.” Slade gave him a mean glare, if looks could kill. By that point, the office door opened again, in stepping none other than Clark Kent. Bruce noticed but didn’t acknowledge him until he spoke up. Slade gave Clark a glance, turning to Bruce again with an unsurprised look, figuring this was Bruce’s latest partner. After Bruce responded to Clark, he saw the way Slade purposely shoved Clark’s shoulder, throwing a glare over his shoulder at Bruce before finally shutting the door with a slam.

Bruce sighed, rubbing his temple to ease his frustration, “Are you alright?” He met Clark’s eyes, seeing nothing but concern. Bruce gave him a tired smile, “I’m fine, that was nothing to get worried over. Let’s just leave, yes?” Clark gave him an unsure look before nodding, following Bruce out the building and opening the door for him.

—

The bar they went to had a homey vibe to it, just enough space that it wasn’t cramped but wasn’t overwhelming either. They were currently nursing some beers at a table near the back, chatting about whatever crossed their mind. “So then, Lois stomped up to the guy, mind you he’s like 6 '4, and started yelling at him like a misbehaving child.” Clark laughed. Bruce chuckled, taking another sip, “Well, I hate to interrupt your amazing storytelling, but I must go to the bathroom.” Clark smiled and gave him a nod, pulling out his phone to respond to some emails.

Bruce made his way to the bathroom, squeezing past some people that were grouped near the back. He entered one of the private stalls in the mens’ room and finally relieved himself. As much as he liked Clark, it was getting hard to hold it in just to watch the man smile and laugh over the shenanigans he’s gotten up to in Metropolis. He washed his hands and walked out, accidentally bumping into a woman, who was clearly not in the right mind, and apologized quickly, helping her stand upright again. She giggled and slurred out a thank you, grabbing his bicep and squeezing, “Hey mister, you’re so handsome.” She giggled.

He felt a hand land on his crotch, surprise rocked through him, slapping her hand away. She frowned, obviously from being shoved away but then she grumbled, “Hey what’s the big idea? You don’t like women or somethin’?” She turned her chin up at him, trying to grab at him some more before another hand pushed her back, Bruce turning to see Clark giving the woman a dirty look.

Bruce put a hand on his shoulder, “She’s just drunk, don’t mind her.” Clark looked at him, sighing before wrapping an arm around him and dragging him back to their table, shooting the woman another glance. A few other women walked up, the lady from before with them. One of them spoke up, “I’m so sorry for my friend, she just had a break-up and she’s like, blacked-out drunk, I’m sorry for whatever she did.” Bruce gave her a small smile, waving it off, “Don’t worry about it, I completely understand.” The women smiled and waved as they went back to whatever they were doing.

A few minutes of silence passed, Clark clearly bothered about earlier. Bruce grabbed his hand, “Why don’t we continue our chat somewhere private, yeah?” Clark gave a soft grin at that, “Yeah I never finished that story about Lois, did I?” He chuckled, Bruce grinned at that, pulling him up so they could head back to Clark’s car.

—

Clark’s place was homey, if anything Bruce was expecting a hotel room, not an apartment. Clark noticed his surprise apparently, “I come to Gotham often, so I thought I might as well have a permanent place to stay when I visit instead of a hotel room, no?” Bruce nodded at that, agreeing it was a smart idea.

Bruce shoved off his shoes, walking to sit on Clark’s couch, which was surprisingly comfortable. Clark went to the kitchen for a minute, coming back with two new beers in hand, giving one to Bruce. He thanked him, popping off the top and taking a swig. Clark watched the way a droplet had slid down the expanse of Bruce’s throat, watching his Adam’s apple bob up and down at his swallows, imagining something dirtier in his head.

Clark coughed, focusing back on his beer and taking a sip. He continued telling his story about Lois and they had a good laugh about it. Eventually the conversation veered to their love lives. “Me and Lois used to date, but we decided we were better off as friends and co-workers at the end of the day.” Clark looked at his hands, remembering the day they split, a sigh escaping his lips before he took another sip.

“I wish I could relate, but honestly I’m afraid of long-term relationships.” Clark turned to stare at Bruce, who had a longing look in his eyes. “I suppose it relates to my parents’ murder, in a way. Ever since they died, I’ve been more than a little fucked up. I guess that included my ability to settle down with someone, who would’ve thought.” He let out a dry laugh at that, thinking he was a little pathetic. Clark cleared his throat, “I don’t think you’re incapable of settling down. Maybe you just haven’t found someone good enough to settle down with?” He tried to give Bruce a reassuring smile, putting a hand on his back and rubbing soothingly.

Bruce looked at him, analyzing everything he could and taking in every detail, like his slight smile lines and his dimples. He looked at Clark’s lips, subconsciously licking his own. He didn’t realize they were leaning closer to each other til he could feel Clark’s breath on his lips. They stayed like that for a few seconds, seeing who would give in first.

Bruce couldn’t take it anymore, moving in and finally connecting their lips together, shuffling his body closer to Clark’s and grasping his shoulder. Clark caressed his cheek and pulled him in closer. They kissed for what felt like hours, Bruce breaking it off to get some air.

They stared for an eternity before clashing together once more, as if something clicked in both of their brains and wouldn’t shut off until they fulfilled their carnal desires. Bruce grasped at his face, desperate for more. Clark groaned at the rough treatment, grabbing Bruce’s waist and pulling onto his lap. He loved the feeling of Bruce’s thighs straddling him, unbuttoning Bruce’s shirt, while Bruce pulled at his hair, rocking against him as he felt the tent in Clark’s pants rise.

Bruce’s hands rushed to Clark’s pants, fiddling with his belt and unbuttoning them, pulling the zipper down. Bruce’s hand felt warm against his erection, his boxers annoying him because it was in between the skin-on-skin contact he was craving. They broke off again, Clark pulling off his shirt and Bruce shucking off his shirt and nearly tripping out of his pants. When they met again, their teeth clashed from how rough they kissed. Clark’s tongue slipped between Bruce’s lips, invading and licking into every crack and corner of Bruce’s mouth.

Bruce kept grinding at Clark’s bulge, feeling out his chest and grasping at his muscles. Clark thought he tasted delicious, savoring every second. His hands made their way to Bruce’s still clothed ass, grabbing at it harshly.

Bruce almost let out an embarrassing yelp when Clark stood up, their lips still locked as Clark took them to what Bruce assumed was his bedroom. His back met silk sheets, his hands reaching out to grab at them. Clark crawled fully on-top of him, sliding off Bruce’s boxers.

Clark stopped kissing him to look down at Bruce’s crotch, seeing a clear lack of a dick. Instead, his fingers made contact with a wet cunt. Clark looked back up at Bruce, who had a nervous look in his eyes. Clark met his lips again, soothing Bruce’s nerves about rejection. He jumped at the sensation of those fingers slipping between his folds, pushing at his insides and spreading him open. He moaned into Clark’s mouth, his legs wrapping around his back and his hands grasping at his shoulders.

He felt another finger insert itself inside, all three of them spreading and scissoring inside him. Bruce doesn’t know how much time passed, all he knew was the four fingers inside him, pressing at his walls, a thumb rubbing circles on his clit at the same time as the thrusts. Clark was kissing at his neck, licking and biting bruises that’ll darken by morning. Bruce arched his back when his fingers hit a particular bundle of nerves, a loud moan slipping between his lips.

Bruce groaned when the machinations ceased, the fingers slipping out of him. His eyebrows furrowed in annoyance at being empty, which didn’t last long as he felt a hot and heavy mass on his stomach, sliding down before nudging at his folds. Clark kissed his cheek, licking down his neck and biting at one of his nipples as he slipped his cock inside. It started off slow and felt like an eternity before he finally felt Clark’s pelvis make contact with his.

The thrusts were slow and methodical at first, dragging at Bruce’s walls in the best way possible. Clark’s soft groans were right beside Bruce’s ear, making his heart beat faster and squeezing around the thick shaft that was currently hitting against his cervix. “Ah– Harder, Clark-!” He grunted out. Obeying his every request, the thrusts sped up and got rougher, hitting his g-spot with every pump inside.

Clark reached a hand down while he bit at Bruce’s nipple. He rubbed and flicked at Bruce’s clit, timing it with his thrusts, a long whine sounding out from Bruce. He felt a gush of slick around his dick, relishing in the feeling as he kept the brutal pace. He felt Bruce’s cunt twitch around him from the overstimulation as he kept hitting against his g-spot.

Clark’s thrusts got a bit frantic, feeling his climax creep closer with each push inside. Cum spurt out inside Bruce, the thrusts never stopping even once. They caught their breath for a second, Clark kissing at his neck and cheek while Bruce came down from the high, sliding his still hard dick out, some slick still connected to his tip.

Clark was caught off guard when Bruce sat-up and flipped them over, seating himself on his cock once more, “You had your fun, Mr. Kent.” Bruce looked down at him, a predatory glint in his eyes. Bruce started a fast pace nearly immediately, bouncing up and down without slowing down for even a second, the loud smacks of his ass hitting Clark’s thighs rang throughout the bedroom.

He felt Bruce’s hands grabbing and squeezing at his chest to anchor himself, Clark’s intense gaze fixated on the sight of his cock disappearing and reappearing over and over again. He grabbed at those meaty thighs and his hips, in a way that will surely leave bruises. Bruce keened when he felt his cervix being penetrated. His bounces got more erratic, chasing that sensation. He orgasmed again at the feeling of Clark’s tip pushing against his cervix.

Clark grunted at the harsh squeeze against his dick, cum shooting out of him once more, biting his lip as he met Bruce’s thrusts with his own. Bruce slumped on top of his chest, Clark’s cock softening inside him before he slid out of him, relishing in the sensation of cum dripping down his thighs.

After a few minutes of coming down from their high, Clark moved Bruce to the side, getting up to get a change of sheets, a wet towel and some water. He wiped himself down, wiped down Bruce, who went to go to the bathroom, and changed the sheets. When Bruce came back, Clark handed him the glass of water, kissing his cheek soothingly, rubbing up and down Bruce’s spine.

Bruce looked at him, a smile dancing on his lips, grabbing Clark’s chin to tilt his head down so he could give him an actual kiss, setting the empty glass on the bedside table before slipping under the covers. Clark joined him not long after, sidling up next to him and curling his arms around his abdomen, resting his face in Bruce’s soft locks.
