Tori growled lowly from under her warm blanket at the offensive sound of her alarm blaring into the once quiet and peaceful room. She huffed and tossed the blanket off before silencing her phone. Letting out a toothy yawn, she stretched and grimaced at the entirely too loud and off key singing of her older sister in the bathroom across the hall."Just one quiet morning! That's all I ask!"Tori huffed dragging her feet over to her closet to get dressed. Seeing the outfit waiting for her hanging on the mirror she smirked finally gaining some energy and waking up.Today was the day she turned the tables on Jade West.She looked at herself in the mirror and said her last goodbye to the old Tori as she tongued at the new stud piercing in the center of her lip. It took a little negotiation with her dad, but she pulled the "I'm 18 now and if you don't let me I'll do it anyway." Card. He wasn't happy, but allowed it after they looked together for a safe shop to get it done.David was a pretty cool dad even if he did pull the "I'm a cop." line with any boy who dared to look at her too long. If only he knew his youngest was a lesbian.She chuckled and started to get dressed.The final piece to her new look was actually something she'd adopted into her style last school year. Two long lime green feathers dangling under her left ear.She was not getting pinched today. Not like last st. Patrick's day. She shuddered. Never again.Tori did a look over and nodded to herself. This would get Jade's attention for sure, if her little secret in the garage didn't give her a heart attack first.She had on a black plastic choker with a tiny silver crescent moon pendant, white nirvana smiley logo shirt with the sleeves torn off and a few long tears below her neckline, a few more on her right side, and a small hole near the bottom hem all revealing her black tank top underneath.She also had on a silver pyramid studded belt, she had even bought a chain wallet with a large silver chain and smaller black one included now dangling off her left hip, baggy light gray cargo pants, and some black steel toe harley boots she'd gotten from her sister for her birthday.She gave the scars on her right arm a glance as she slid on a black and white striped wrist warmer on each wrist and remembered Jades feather soft touch and mumbled words calling them "badass" the first day she was allowed back in school after getting over her "rabies".She pushed thoughts of the attack and it's "side effects" as she called them down as the smell of cooking chorizo and eggs wafted up and into her nose from downstairs through her closed door. She practically drooled as her canines grew and stomach growled loudly.Tori calmed herself and grabbed her school bag before exiting her room and rushing down the stairs to see her dad cooking burritos for his small family.Holly, as they all called her now, was caught cheating in her husband's bed while he and his daughters were out playing mini golf one night. She and Gary were in bed together when David returned early with the girls because Trina got them kicked out.Tori shook her head, not wanting to remember the messy year long divorce, and greeted her dad with a chipper-"Good morning, papa!""Morning, mijita. Hungry?""Very!"Tori loved that her dad was making an effort to spend more time with them and it meant eating his awesome home cooked mexican meals too, so that was a bonus."I'm taking Trina to check out a college today, so pizza money is on the fridge. We'll be home late. Make sure that Sinjin kid tapes your performance tonight for me." He handed two foil wrapped burritos to his daughter and kissed her head before grabbing his keys and yelling for Trina to hurry up."I'll tell him. Have fun with Trina!"She laughed at his exasperated face and stuffed her breakfast carefully into her dark purple backpack that replaced her giant brown purse a couple weeks back."Oh! I almost forgot, I checked the tires, oil, and gas in your bike this morning, so you're good to go. Be safe mijita, love you!"Tori waved as Trina rushed their dad out the door with a quick "good morning, goodbye!" To the senior now standing alone in the house.Tori just shook her head and grabbed the heavy guitar case by the garage door before entering said room. She also grabbed the lanyard holding a pair of keys and a small garage opener and pressed the button opening the loud garage door and letting the early morning light shine on the singular vehicle parked to the side in the two car space.It was her pride and joy. A summer project she and her dad finished just last week. They had started in June and now it was March. It was an electric purple and chrome masterpiece if she said so herself. Which she did.A 1980 Harley Davidson. It had been her dad's when he was young and he always dreamed of fixing it up someday with his future son, but luckily his youngest daughter had expressed interest one day after seeing her dad posing with it in an old picture. Well, it was red back then, but after a quick paint job and tune up after sitting covered in dust for more than thirty years, it was perfect for Tori's 18th birthday.Tori grabbed her matching purple helmet and laughed at the piece of safety equipment. It had a black visor with a fanged smile etched into the safety glass and about half the helmet on each side. It also had pointed outcroppings on the top that looked like two sharp wolf ears.Trina had no idea how accurate the helmet she bought her baby sister to "scare the mean biker boys away." really was. It's not like she could go around blabbing her secret to just anyone.Especially not her screech box sister.Tori put on the helmet and pulled her heavy black leather jacket on from its place layed over the bike's seat. She strapped down her backpack before pulling the straps of the guitar case over her shoulders. Once everything was secure, she threw her long toned leg over the seat and started the engine with a mighty roar tearing out of the mufflers. She pulled out, shut the garage, and shot off toward Hollywood arts. Ready to face her greatest frenemy slash crush with a brand new style that would be sure to catch the goth's attention.-Jade was in a bad mood. Cat had super glued a strip of cloth saying "kiss me I'm Irish" to her new dress she happened to be wearing to the Clover Cover performance tonight.It was a sleek black dress with one long left sleeve ending with a black laced spider web designed cuff, the other side had no sleeve and was held up by a thin black strap making it dip just slightly showing her cleavage tastefully. The tight knee length dress was perfect until Cat bounced up to her wearing her dumb fluffy green dress and clover headband, and slapped a black strip of cloth over her left breast before dashing off with a giggle.At least it was black and the writing was in green cursive matching the green strips in her hair and black dress.Still.Jade sighed as she sipped her coffee careful not to smudge her black lipstick too much. She needed to look good tonight. She was going to win Tori over starting with a killer look then ending with a song dedicated to the peppy girl herself. Of course she admitted she was totally insane now and she was cool with it if it meant she actually liked the talented goody two shoes known as Victoria Vega.Speaking of...Jade looked around the courtyard that opened into the parking lot. No sign of Tori yet, which was strange. She, Tori, and a few shruggers were usually the first to show up in the morning and would hang around the food truck to get coffee and chat.She was about to go in and check the main hall, but the loud roar of a motorcycle made her stop and watch curiously as a shiny purple bike turned into the parking lot and parked next to her own silver car. Her curiosity peaked when she noticed the driver was a woman wearing a gnarly wolf-like helmet.Jade quirked an eyebrow as the woman seemed to notice her and waved slightly before gathering her bag and guitar case. She watched warily as the biker chick sauntered over and stopped in front of her."Do I know you?" Jade snarked."Morning, Jade!"Jade felt her body stiffen and her eyes widened as the biker, Tori, pulled off the helmet and smirked at her shocked face trying to tame her helmet hair with a free hand."T-Tori?""Yep! Like my bike?"Jade scanned the preppy girl in front of her and blushed. That wasn't Tori's usual style at all, but it fit so well. The lip stud made her pause, face growing a bit more flushed, but she gained her composure and smirked."Oh, I do. Looks like miss sweet Sally peaches got a makeover too...I like."Tori blushed a little and grinned happily at the sincere compliment. Phase one, impress Jade, complete. Now she just had to nail tonight's performance and get the girl."You look stunn-" Tori was interrupted rudely."Woah! Who's hog?!" Robbie yelled from his spot seated on Tori's pride and joy as Beck inspected the purple machine from slightly afar with an appreciating gaze."Oh hell no, ROBBIE!!! OFF!!!"Tori fumed stomping up to the scene with a glare that could rival Jade's worst. Robbie scrambled off the bike and was lucky said bike was between him and the now angry brunette."Woah, Tori! W-What's up?" Robbie said nervously grabbing at his now Rex-less hand. He'd gotten rid of the rude and creepy puppet last summer, thank all that was holy."What do you think you're doing on my bike?! Jade teased walking to stand nearby and examine the object of attention. It really was a nice vehicle. She had no idea why Tori was bulking up, but she could definitely appreciate a strong woman.Tori also ate like she was starving all the time now. One slice of pizza turned to four and her usual light salads turned into two or more hot dogs. It was like she always needed protein. Cat had even asked about her new "diet" a few times, but Tori always waved her off with a "I'm just hungry." Or "my metabolism is crazy.".Oh well, it wasn't that weird.The bell rang signaling the start of their first class and the four made their way through the growing crowd to Sikowitz's room.-A while later, the class was dismissed for breakfast and for Tori it couldn't come fast enough. She was starving. She wasn't lying when she said her metabolism was crazy. It seemed like her stomach needed food every hour on the hour and she hadn't eaten yet today, so her stomach was doing angry flips when she grabbed her things and dashed out the door so she could eat her burritos in the asphalt cafe/courtyard.Her first burrito was unwrapped and in her mouth before she was fully seated. She sat happily munching away as her friends joined her one by one."Woah, easy girl, what did that burrito ever do to you?" Andre said with a laugh as he sat down with his breakfast pizza and chocolate milk."It exists near me." Tori shrugged finishing off the last bite with a satisfied grin as Cat and Robbie sat down next talking about Cat's roommate and how she found an old butter sock rotting under a couch cushion.Beck just said "hi" to everyone and dug into his own school issued breakfast, Festus being on break until lunch."Ugh, I hate this nasty excuse for pizza." Jade huffed sitting next to Tori, unhappy for the second time that day. She glared at the sad looking pizza square as Cat eagerly said she'd take it. Tori hesitantly put her guitar case on the now cleared table and pulled out her brand new glittery purple and black fender. There was a small solar powered amp that came with the special case and she hooked the guitar to it before checking the tuning."Any requests?" Tori asked nervously.This was her first time playing in front of someone other than her supportive dad. She wears a two-way, but im not quite sure what that means."Jade was stunned. No way. Tori knew of Bowling for Soup for one, and the song couldn't be about anyone else but the goth herself. She'll never know that I'm the best that she'll ever have!"Cat was headbanging and the rest of the group was now in the groove as Tori performed her best even though it was supposed to be a small demonstration to her curious close friends. Tori smirked as the bell rang and tossed her guitar onto her back again as she just walked away with a shocked Jade West standing alone as the rest of the group followed their friend to their next class together giggling and chuckling at the teasing switch up."H-hey! Vega!"-The last class of the day was spent setting up the Lucky Clover Cover night stage for the performances that would be taking place starting around five.Tori was busy helping Cat and a few shruggers paint the banner that would hang over the stage. Jade was barking orders at the sound people and the boys were lugging stage equipment.Andre and Beck warned Robbie that the huge amp he was attempting to carry was too heavy for his noodle arms, but as he walked slowly past the banner making team his foot caught on a loose cord and his grip on the large speaker gave in as he tried to catch his balance, the heavy equipment almost fell on an oblivious Cat who was humming as she painted away, but to everyone's surprise Tori caught the amp and lifted it with barely any effort scolding Robbie as she carried the large piece of equipment over to the stage.Jade watched the scene, impressed at the brunettes quick reaction time, and sort of turned on by the show of strength."Seriously, Robbie, you need to work out! Tori jumped a bit, finally noticing the ocean green eyes watching her from where the goth sat across from her at the table, legs crossed and smirk on her shiny black lips. "Where is your boy tonight? I hope that he's a gentleman. Maybe he won't find out what I know! You were the last good thing about this part of town!"Jade clapped and Tori gave a small mock bow as she smiled. I only discovered Bowling For Soup this past Summer while I was practicing with my dad." Tori shrugged as the boys and Cat made their way to the table and took their seats."Robbie and I are going to the gym starting next weekend. He really needs to bulk up a bit." Tori stared at Jade with smoldering deep coffee eyes as she sang and marched across the stage with authority. "And I know you, can't resist me! Soon though you, are so addicted! Hyyyyde!"Tori breathed hard as the crowd erupted into cheers and whistles, thanking the band and the original artist, before jogging off stage with her guitar and a skip in her step.Jade met her at the bottom of the steps and ran pale fingers across the tan jawline of her brunette crush who, shocked silent, watched the goth blow her a kiss from the top of the steps before she turned to strut to center stage taking hold of the mic as her name was announced next.Her friends congratulated Tori as her coffee brown eyes stayed locked on the sexy fellow 18 year old up on stage."If I didn't want you, would I cry your name out loud? And curse it as I wander into this madning crowd." Jade smirked as she reached out toward Tori with her hand outstretched. This was it, what she waited for years for would finally come to fruition as Jade sang to her and only her. Bits of their usual dynamic blending into the song as if the goth had written the lyrics to "Animal", originally performed by Elizabeth Gillies on a TV show, herself."You got the power baby and I'm your trusted queen! Gimme the stars, gimme the sun, and all that lies in-between!"Tori gulped at the fiery cool hued eyes and felt her body warm as Jade seductively ran her hands up her own curves barely hidden by the tight black dress."I'm an animal for you! I'm an animal for you! For you, for you, for youuu~" Jade put her all into this performance, anyone could tell. "Yeah! Oh yeahhhh! Oh yeah, I am! Oh baby~"Tori felt her hair stand on the back of her neck stand and groaned unhappily as an itch started under her skin and crawled into her muscles and bones, tearing her attention from the crowd who had erupted into cheers as Jade took a bow."Not now, please not now..." Tori calmed her breathing and forced the feelings down as best she could as Jade sauntered up to her. The moon was betraying her again, but luckily she still had control with it being only the first night of the full moon.They ignored the next performance as they stood for a moment in silence in front of eachother now, just thinking of what they could possibly say to each other now that their feelings were out in the open.Their friends tried not to be so obvious in their snooping on the two from nearby, but Jade's famous glare scattered their attention as Tori cleared her throat with a toothy grin."So, an animal for me, huh?" Tori wiggled her eyebrows as Jade just laughed behind her hand."You have no idea what you do to me, Vega." The goth said with a saucy grin."Oh, I have an idea mi amor." Tori rolled the r extra hard, knowing for a fact the shorter girl loved when she spoke Spanish from the spike in the intoxicating scent she gave off giving her away."So bold~ Whatever happened to the innocent sweet Sally peaches I once knew? Hm?""A rabid dog killed her." Tori shrugged gaining a laugh from her crush. God, she loved making her laugh."You know, something tells me I won't be missing her very much." Jade purred running a hand over Tori's shoulder and down her toned arm to her hand where she intertwined their fingers."Let's get out of here?" Tori smirked leading the eager goth to her bike parked at the edge of the parking lot with Jade's car."I've never riden a motorcycle before..." Jade was kind of nervous, knowing her crushes track record with cars."It's fine, really. My dad's a cop, remember? He wouldn't let me ride without acing the driven test three times." Tori tried soothing her and it worked as she stashed her guitar in Jade's car, at her insistance, for an easier ride and swung her leg over her bike seat. Jade climbed up behind her and wrapped her arms tightly around Tori's toned waist."Ready?" Tori asked, completely forgetting her helmet in her locker, as she felt a nod against her shoulder blade and revved the engine. The random shrugger's song ended and off they went onto the open highway with their friends cheering them on as they ditched the rest of the show and rode off in the direction of Tori's house.

Jade was having the time of her life! It was more thrilling than scary actually being out on the road with her crush in her arms weaving between cars on the PCH, their hair flying in the wind, as Jade leaned back with a tight grip on Tori as she laughed gleefully at the stars slightly obscured by L.A. smog.Tori smiled happily at the sound of her joyful laughter as she sped up making Jade cling tighter as they hit 95mph with Tori letting the engine loose with a roar as they neared the street to turn up hill to the Vega house.She slowed the bike as soon as they reached the top of the hill leading up to the modern styled home. Tori opened the garage with the button on her lanyard and pulled to a stop in the dark garage lit only by the single bright headlight."Get the light by the door, please Jade?!" Tori yelled over the motor, not wanting to turn the bike off until they had some other form of light. Jade nodded and climbed off the bike to do just that. She flicked the light on and Tori killed the engine and kicked the kickstand up securly with the chunky heel of her riding boot before dismounting."You're actually a good driver, Vega. I'm impressed." Jade said with a smirk as Tori led them into the dark house.The brunette only laughed.Tori turned the kitchen light on and immediately went to raiding her fridge. Her dad left her money for pizza, but she decided to pocket the 20 for a later date with Jade. She pulled out a large sirloin steak and looked over at Jade for a moment before pulling out some chicken breasts as well."Whatchu doing there?" Jade asked sitting on the counter watching Tori pull out a frying pan and a medium sized pot. She filled the pot with water and pulled out a box of Alfredo noodles as she set the stove top temp and lightly salted the water."Making us dinner." Tori smiled over her shoulder at the content goth watching her with curious blue-green eyes. It was domestic in a way, as Jade watched the brunette work in the kitchen with a small smile."I may not make the best sushi, or pizza, but I cook a mean chicken alfredo." Tori assured her as dried off her now washed hands and started to cut two chicken breasts into bite sizes for easy cooking and tossed the chunks into the now hot pan greased with olive oil and Italian spices.Jade's stomach growled at the heavenly aroma filling the kitchen."So, how fast did we end up going on your bike?" Jade asked as Tori measured and added the dry noodles to the now boiling pot of water. Tori turned to face the goth and smirked."Oh, we hit a hundred just before we reached the hill.""What?! Tori, what the hell, that's so dangerous!" Jade stated firmly at the grinning brunette."Oh, I know. I just wanted you to have the full experience. You were having fun." Tori shrugged as she turned back to stir the chicken which was close to being done. She stirred the noodles as well as Jade just shook her head at her back. It was fun.The half Latina went to the pantry and retrieved a jar of Alfredo sauce, which she dumped into the now cooked chicken bits to heat up. She turned the burner off to the noodles and took the pot to the sink to drain."Jade, can you grab me the strainer out of that bottom cabinet there?"Jade nodded and retrieved the strainer.Before handing it to Tori, she demanded a kiss on the cheek for her payment as she held the kitchen tool hostage behind her. Tori planted a kiss on the corner of her lips, retrieving the strainer as Jade's brain short circuit-ed."Kiss me I'm Irish, huh?" Tori smirked poking the little strip of cloth on Jade's chest and went back to cooking.Tori hummed to herself as she strained the last bit of water and moved back to the stove to shut off the chicken and dump the pan's steaming contents into the pot of noodles. She stirred it up a bit and sat the now full pot to the side with a lid on as she put the dirty pan in the sink to soak and pulled out another clean one to cook the set aside steak.Jade shook her head, finally snapping out of her daze, as she watched Tori lightly season the large hunk of meat and toss it into the now buttered pan to cook.The brunette only seared both sides of the meat before she turned off the burner for the last time and pulled out some plates to serve Jade and herself a portion of Alfredo each. Of course, hers was a mountain compared to Jade's more normal serving. She also had a large steak she couldn't wait to devour on the side."Where the hell does all that food go, Vega?" Jade asked gawking at the rediculous plate in front of her thin crush as they sat at the table to eat."I dunno, honestly." Tori laughed as she nearly drooled over the food in front of her.Jade took a bite and lit up. It was really really good."Wow, you can actually cook!" Jade said between bites."Gee, thanks." Tori huffed, but smiled as she watched Jade enjoy her cooking.She dug into her steak first and her mouth watered at the sight of the rare cooked meat on her fork."Oh, gross Vega, that steak is still mooing!" Jade watched blood and grease ooze out of the meat and grimaced as Tori just happily scarfed down bite after bite until the meat was gone, leaving the huge pile of Alfredo she didn't hesitate to devour as well.After eating their food in comfortable silence, Jade helped Tori by drying the dishes the taller girl washed and helping her put everything away."So, movie?" Tori asked leading Jade into the living room by her hand where they plopped down next to eachother with full stomachs and happy hearts."Sure. What do you have in mind?" Jade shrugged as she snuggled under Tori's left arm and into her side."Ever seen, D.E.B.S.?" Tori asked flipping to a streaming service with the remote in her right hand as her left drew circles on Jade's palm."Hm, no? What's it about?""Oh, you'll see." Tori chuckled making Jade look at her suspicious.The movie was cheesy in a good way.Also, extremely gay.The good guys, the D.E.B.S. a team of college girls turned spies, were chasing down a super villainess called Lucy Diamond, who had beef with Australia for some reason, and of course the goody goody leader of the team of spies fell in love with the enemy.They were in the middle of Lucy's montage of good deeds trying to win Amy back, when Tori suddenly tensed and jerked away from Jade who let out an indignant "the fuck?!" as their cuddle time was so rudely interrupted leaving her laying sideways where she was previously snuggled against Tori on the red couch."I-uh-gruh-sorry! I-I need to go to the bathr-ahhhh!" Tori had forgotten all about the full moon outside as she was enjoying her time with Jade so much.She thought she could at least make it to midnight, but she was wrong.Tears stung her eyes as she whimpered in pain hunched over on the ground near the stairs."Tori! Are you okay?! Do I need to call-""NO!" Tori snapped at Jade as her skin itched and ached. "S-sorry, I just, ughhhh..."Jade watched in shock with an outstretched hand, unsure how to help in the situation as Tori twitched inhumanly this way and that on her knees with her fingers digging into the carpet.Suddenly, ripping fabric was heard as Tori's muscles grew impossibly big under her skin and tore her clothes.Luckily, or not, dark brown fur spread across the bare tan skin in waves and a long tail sprouted from the base of her spine as her ears grew to points and migrated to the top of her head. Her mouth extended into a maw full of sharp fangs as her bones popped and snapped into new positions. Her groans of pain were replaced by canine whimpers and yelps until everything settled.Jade stood looking at her crush in disbelief at what she'd just seen with her own two eyes.Tori is a werewolf."What the fuck?" Jade whispered stepping back, debating on running screaming or staying in her racing head.The wolf creature, Tori, turned to look at her sitting on her haunches with her head bowed, ears down, and tail between her legs as she whimpered pathetically.Jade wasn't supposed to find out like this..."T-tori?" She hesitantly stepped toward the beast, fighting her first instinct to flee the scene.A whine and slight nod answered her question."Y-you're a...a-a werewolf." Jade was getting calmer. Slowly.Tori nodded again."So, the rabid dog...it wasn't a dog." Jade sat down shakily on the couch.Tori sniffed and nodded once more."This is insane, I'm dreaming, I must be dreaming..." Jade pinched her own arm and hissed at the pain through her teeth. "Nope, not a dream..."Tori inched closer with caution.She didn't know if Jade would get scared, well more scared, and stab her with her favorite scissors which happened to be coated in silver. She didn't know if silver was really deadly to her or not, and she didn't want to find out frankly.The girl turned wolf carefully laid her massive head in Jade's lap once close enough. Jade hesitated for a moment, but steeled her nerves and lightly stroked the soft brown fur atop Tori's head."This is so weird. I'm petting my werewolf girlfriend..."Tori's ears snapped to attention and her same very human coffee brown eyes sparkled up at the goth as her tail wagged a mile a minute."Shit. I said girlfriend and we haven't even talked about it yet!" Jade groaned into her hands in embarrassment.Tori licked Jade's cheek and barked happily."Ew, save your kisses for when you're a human-" Jade wiped her wet cheek in disgust. "Wait. So, you're cool with being my girlfriend?"Tori nodded eagerly wiggling in place."So, since that's out of the way, does anyone else know about...your, um, time of the month?"Tori snorted at the small joke but shook her head in a clear answer of "no."."Oh, well that makes me feel special." Jade said with a smirk, finally calm again to Tori's relief.Tori barked, wishing she could talk, so she could tell Jade she was the most special person she'd ever met."What now?" Jade asked noticing the credits rolling for the forgotten movie.Tori stood to her full height, over seven feet tall, and lumbered on two feet/paws over to the stairs. She picked up the shredded bits of clothing, not wanting to scare her dad and sister when they got home, before she beckoned Jade to follow with a large claw tipped paw like hand. Jade was staring at her new girlfriend, stunned by the sheer size of her hulking form now.Tori tilted her head at her and motioned again."Okay, okay, I'm coming. Don't get your tail in a twist." Jade laughed at the huff, she just knew she got an offended "Well!" out of her despite the new language barrier.Tori ducked into her open doorway and shut the door behind them, Jade settled on the bed kicking off her boots, watching in amusement as Tori went to her dresser and opened a drawer after a few failed attempts to grab the small knob to pull it open. She searched through the open drawer and pulled out a big black t-shirt and a pair of purple plaid pajama pants.She carried them over to Jade and handed the clothing to the momentarily confused goth.Tori huffed at the blank look and mimed sleeping with two hands placed over eachother beside her tilted head."Oh! You were wondering if I want to sleep over?" Jade smiled at the enthusiastic nod and happily wagging tail behind the wolf creature that is Tori Vega. "Sure. Tomorrow's Saturday and dad's out of town until Sunday. Plus, I've never hung out with a dog before."Tori growled slightly, but she was super happy and nothing could bring her mood down now. Her girlfriend accepted her and now she had another chance to snuggle the normally touch averted goth all night."Turn around. I'm getting changed." Jade demanded spinning her finger. Tori happily obliged, looking away and closing her eyes for good measure."Done. Now come here, I'm tired and I want to cuddle. NEVER speak of it!" Jade narrowed her eyes in a threat, but Tori crossed her heart with a claw holding up her other hand...paw, in agreement.Jade climbed under the covers and Tori clambered onto the large bed beside her over the blanket, glad her dad had caved and bought her the king sized bed she wanted since freshman year, and curled around Jade absolutely dwarfing her as she wrapped her muscular furred arms around the goth. Jade snuggled into her soft chest feeling more safe and warm than she ever had with Beck. Or anyone for that matter."Goodnight, Tori." Jade sighed happily as she started to drift into a comfy slumber.Tori just rubbed her chin against the top of Jade's head and slowly drifted off as well.-Jade woke to the sound of whimpering that slowly turned into human gasps of pain as Tori shrunk down into her human form on the other side of the bed. Her ocean green eyes snapped open just in time to see a very naked Tori quickly stand and dash to her bathroom across from the foot of the bed and the door slammed behind her in her rush.Jade just laughed, slightly blushing, as Tori returned minutes later wrapped in a fluffy white robe scratching the back of her neck sheepishly."So, girlfriend, last night was interesting." Jade smirked as Tori grumbled walking into her closet. She tossed a band t-shirt, ACDC back in black, and a pair of black ripped jeans to Jade on the bed. She closed the closet door, staying inside to change, as Jade did the same in the empty room."Jade, you done?" Tori called from the closet and Jade told her "yeah!" as she brushed her hair with Tori's brush.After cleaning out the massive wad of hair clinging to the bristles. Hell, does Tori shed?"Are you going to take me on a date today? I mean, I think I deserve it for not running away screaming into the dark last night."Tori just laughed sitting on her bed with the grinning goth behind her. She was wearing a black Ramone's t-shirt and dark blue baggy jeans."I mean, that was the plan all along." Tori smiled happily letting Jade brush her hair out next."How is your hair so thick and soft? I swear I pulled a hairball the size of Cat's head out of your brush a minute ago!"Tori just shrugged.If wolves could purr she'd be a motor boat by now as Jade worked the tangles gently out of her mane of brown locks. Once finished, Jade tapped her shoulder and Tori turned to ask what was up when Jade pulled her in for a kiss wrapping her arms around the half Latina's neck.Tori kissed back immediately and turned fully into Jade's hold wrapping her arms around her curvy waist with her hands settled at the slope of her spine just above the hem of the black jeans.The kiss grew more heated as Tori softly bit Jade's bottom lip making her moan. The werewolf of the two wanted to hear more and laid Jade down onto her back against the slept in bed.Tori was a top, who knew?As her hands nearly slipped into the back of Jade's jeans, the door into the hall slammed open and Trina was mid sentence when she realized what she was seeing and screamed."Hey sista! We're baAAAAAAH MY EYES!" Trina covered her eyes as she ducked the pillow aimed at her head from a fuming goth pinned under her not so innocent baby sister."Do you mind?!" Jade yelled as Tori removed herself and fumed at her sister for interrupting as well."Trina, GET OUT!" Tori snarled, her fangs extended as she pointed at the door where her big sister stood stunned."I'm telling dad you had a freaky goth girl in bed with you!" Trina ran out of the room screaming for her dad as Tori leapt off the bed and chased after her."Well, that's one way to end a make-out session..." Jade grumbled walking out to face the music with her girlfriend.-"Daaaad! Tori's trying to kill me!" Trina screamed ducking behind her dad for protection as Tori chased her into the kitchen."Just a little bit!" Tori yelled chasing her screaming sister around their poor confused dad in circles."Girls! GIRLS STOP!" David grabbed Tori, stopping his youngest as she prepared to ring Trina's neck with hands now grabbing at air. Damn, his baby girl was strong.Trina hid behind the kitchen island armed with a plastic spatula and pot lid."Tori was making out with a girl in her room!" Trina snitched, flinching as Tori ran a finger across her neck mouthing "you're dead." from her dad's arms.Jade came down the stairs, she had previously stopped atop to observe in amusement, and greeted David casually as she prepared herself a cup of the freshly brewed coffee."Morning Jade-wait, Jade is the girl Trina caught you with?!" David looked at his daughter's past bully then to his child in disbelief."U-um, yeah. Is that a problem?" Tori stepped out of his now loose hold and narrowed her eyes at her dad crossing her arms defiantly."N-no, mijita! I was just surprised is all." David rubbed his face and took on a stern expression as he faced the goth now sipping her coffee."You know I'm a cop, right?" David crossed his own arms as he stared down the unaffected eighteen year old."Yes sir." Jade smiled as Tori groaned."Good. Then you know if you hurt my baby girl, I'll have you arrested.""Dad! Don't threaten my girlfriend!"Trina looked at the scene with an open mouth gaping in disbelief."Wait, what?! You grounded me for a month when you caught me in my room with Tommy!" Trina whined demanding justice as her sister just grinned at her smugly."Well, that's different, Jade can't get my baby pregnant." David said raising a challenging brow as Trina just yelled and stormed up to her room."I can try." Jade mumbled lowly into her coffee, just low enough so David couldn't hear her, but Tori obviously did judging by her blush as she avoided her amused eyes."Okay girls, ground rules. Date nights end before 10pm, no closed doors while Jade is over, and please try not to kill Trina." David trusted his youngest to obey his rules, so after he got his confirmation he patted Jade awkwardly on the shoulder and excused himself to his room to get some needed sleep after dealing with his eldest and her antics for a day and a half."That went well." Jade said as Tori just stared shocked at the stairs her dad just walked up."He just...that...he." Tori muttered bracing herself against the counter as Jade smirked walking up to her stunned girlfriend."I think he likes me." The goth laughed as Tori just shook her head and joined in relieved disbelief."So, where are you taking me out to today?" Jade asked taking a sip of her coffee as Tori thought to herself for a minute."There's a new diner that just opened up near the boardwalk. I know you don't like going into the ocean, but would you be up for a walk on the beach after we eat?""Sounds perfect." Jade smiled sincerely as Tori grinned happily."Alright! We'll head out after you finish your coffee." Tori intertwined her fingers with Jade's free hand as the goth threw back the last of her coffee with a content sigh."Already done. Let's head out, Vega." Jade led the way as Tori grabbed her wallet and secured it to her pants following after her girlfriend."Hop on, we got a small drive ahead of us." Tori pulled on her jacket and swung a leg over the seat. Jade got on behind her and wrapped her arms around her like last night holding on tight as the garage door opened and off they went.-Fifteen minutes into the drive, Tori pulled into a gas station to fill the almost empty gas tank. Another familiar bike was parked at a different pump and Jade was trying to remember who's it was as her girlfriend walked out of the station minutes later laughing with Cat's blonde roommate. Sam Puckett? Yeah, that's her name.Her blue-green eyes narrowed at the short blonde's friendly shove against her girlfriend who just laughed and shoved her back."Hey, Jade! Look who I found!" Tori smiled walking around her bike to fill her tank up as Sam examined it with a whistle."Damn, Tori, nice ride! I also see you have the big bad goth, Jade West, riding bitch." Sam was jesting, but said goth fumed in place at the friendly jab."Watch it, Puckett!" She snarled as Tori tried to defuse the situation."Woah, woah, West! It's just a biker term, no offense." Sam held her hands up with a smirk."See, Jade? It's fine. She didn't mean to offend." Tori said kissing her pale cheek."Ugh, fine." Jade sighed as someone else familiar walked up to the small group."Hey guys! Long time no see, Topi!" Carly Shay walked up to the group holding a fat cake for Sam, who kissed her gratefully before filling her own bike up letting her girlfriend catch up as she sipped her own bottle of gas station tea."Well, if it isn't Carly from iCarly." Tori gave the shorter brunette a quick hug, aware of her girlfriend's watchful eyes on her back, and smiled at her. "So, what brings you all the way to L.A.? I thought you were in Italy?""Oh, dad was moved back to the states and I finally moved out. I'm going to be staying with Sammy and Cat." Carly ignored the whine from her girlfriend at the use of her nickname and continued talking to Tori as Jade snickered behind her hand at the grumbling blonde."Sammy?" Jade laughed."Shut up, Jadey." Sam laughed next as Jade whispered about killing a certain red head."We should get going, Sam. Spencer and Freddie are almost at the condo with the u-haul." Carly said checking her phone after a message pinged."Right, bye girls! Have fun on your first date!" Sam said with a wave as she climbed onto her own bike and Carly got on behind her after saying her own goodbye. They shot off in a roar, heading down the road toward Sam and Cat's place."That was fun." Tori smiled jovially as she screwed the gas cap back on and got into place behind the handle bars."About as fun as eating nails." Jade grumbled holding onto her girlfriend."Hey, it's nice seeing old friends once in a while." Tori laughed as Jade just gagged dramatically. She started up the engine and they pulled out of the lot, on their way once more in the opposite direction the iCarly hosts took.-They finally stopped at their destination five minutes down the road.It was a 50-60s style diner called "The Oldie" and there weren't too many people there judging by the mostly empty parking lot. Tori assured her that the small business was good, as she and Andre had visited last weekend for milkshakes and burgers, and led her inside.The establishment was nice and clean with neon signs, elvis memorabilia on the walls, and a few waitresses on roller skates. A jukebox sat in one corner playing a sock hop as the smell of greasy food made their stomachs rumble hungrily. They took a seat at a small booth tucked into the corner opposite of the jukebox."Hey girls, what can I start you with?" A nice young waitress rolled over with a notepad and pen."Coffee." Jade said simply."Can I get a chocolate shake?" Tori asked politely smiling at the slightly older woman."Of course, sweetheart, one coffee and a choco shake coming right up!" The waitress, Lindsay according to her name tag, rolled away calling out the order to the staff in the back."Sweetheart. Ha, she should have seen you trying to kill your suckfish sister earlier." Jade teased making Tori smack her arm with a smile."In my defense, the snitch deserved it."Jade snorted as the waitress placed her coffee in front of her, with some creamer and sugar, and slid Tori's shake over as well."So, do you girls know what you want yet?""I'll take the deluxe oldie burger with fries. Cooked rare as possible." Tori knew most establishments didn't serve rare cooked meat these days, but she knew this one did."One deluxe oldie, still kicking, and fries. What about you, darlin?"Jade looked up from the menu and pointed to a picture."Chili fries with no onions." Jade said handing their menu's to the nice college girl."Okay! I'll get right on it!" Lindsay rolled away using diner slang to yell out the orders to the kitchen, leaving the girls alone on their date once more."She's nice. The waitress Andre and I got last time was a rude old lady that smelled like rotten tapioca." Tori crinkled her sensitive nose.Jade chuckled a bit and grasped Tori's hand in hers under the table."Oh, I have an idea!" Tori pulled Jade up and led her to the jukebox. She let go of the goth's hand and slipped a dollar into the machine. She flipped through the selection of classics and settled on one she actually knew.Only you by The Platters."Can I have this dance?" Tori held her hand out with a charming smile as the music began.Jade glanced around the restaurant.There was an old couple eating a few booths down, a grizzled trucker at the bar nursing a cup of Joe, and a small group of college boys goofing off and minding their business at a table near the center of the diner."Sure." Jade smiled and took the offered hand. Tori pulled her close and led as they danced to the song the brunette chose in the open space in front of the jukebox."Only you can make this change in me. For its true, you are my destiny. When you hold my hand, I understand the magic that you do." Tori whispered along into Jade's ear before twirling her girlfriend. The goth girl found herself smiling and giggling for the thousandth time as Tori whisper sang the lyrics and slow danced with her.She wasn't really into romantic gestures, but with Tori she found her only exception."You're my dream come true, my one and only you." Tori whispered, her lips brushing Jade's ear making her shudder a bit.The entire diner was watching in silence. The old couple were holding hands watching the scene with wistful smiles probably remembering the past, the trucker was watching with a small smile himself as he sipped his coffee tapping his foot, the college guys were nudging eachother and giving cocky looks to their friends, and the waitresses swooned as Tori dipped Jade and pulled her in for a kiss as the song ended.The entire diner clapped as the girls sheepishly returned to their booth just in time as Lindsay rolled over expertly balancing their dishes on each arm."That was so cute! You girls make a beautiful couple." Lindsay smiled gushing over the two blushing teens."T-thanks." Tori smiled as their steaming plates were placed in front of them."Can I get you anything else?" Lindsay asked getting a polite "no, thanks." from the two before rolling away."Holy shit, that burger is huge!" Jade pointed at the massive burger on Tori's plate surrounded by crispy crinkle fries."I know! It's great, right?" Tori nearly drooled as her fangs grew in anticipation."I don't even know if I can finish my fries! The portions are rediculous here!" Jade looked down at her huge paper tray of fries, cheese, and chili in disbelief."We can always take what's left with us." Tori shrugged, knowing for a fact that her own food would be gone in minutes, but Jade wasn't really big on food and ate like a normal person so it was likely she'd have leftovers."I guess." Jade shrugged herself as they dug in.They ate mostly in comfortable silence, giggling when Tori swiped a bit of chili off of Jade's cheek and licked it off her finger making the goth blush, but they soon finished with Jade asking for a to-go box and Tori excusing herself to the bathroom leaving Jade by herself as she checked her phone. She noticed a few new messages from her best friend/ex.Beck: are you and Tori coming back?? She narrowed her eyes at the bleach blonde surfer boy, from the table full of college guys, looming over her smirking down at her in an attempt to woo the entirely uninterested goth."Hey girl, wanna ditch the dyke and get with a real man?" The guy leaned closer sticking out a hand to shake. "I'm Kyle."Of course that's his name."Hi Kyle, I'm not interested. Now get lost before I decide to introduce you to my scissors." Jade waved him off with a glare, more than annoyed at the slur he decided to call her girlfriend."C'mon baby, don't be like that! I bet my dick is bigger than her strap." The guy smirked further invading her personal space as she just stared open mouthed in offended disbelief at the words that just left the gross boy's mouth."Get the fuck away from my girlfriend, you perverted dick!" Tori pushed the guy out of Jade's personal bubble making him stumble to the side at the rough shove."What the fuck, you dyke bitch!" Kyle glared down at the literally growling mad brunette."You better leave before I do something I won't regret!" Tori stared him down as she placed herself between the man and her impressed girlfriend. Sure, Beck had protected her from creeps before (not like she needed protecting), but he never threatened anyone for her and would usually just wisk her away before a fight would start."Oh yeah, wanna take this outside?!" Kyle yelled as his asshole friends cheered, walking over to their cocky pal."Sure! Let's go you prick!" Tori snarled as she threw more than enough cash on the table and led Jade outside.The guys followed them out to the middle of the gravel lot. Tori spun on her heel and faced Kyle as his three friends and Jade surrounded them."Kick his ass, babe!" Jade yelled, pumped up and rooting for her girlfriend who picked her fists up as the man cracked his knuckles. He was fairly tall and muscular, but Jade wasn't remotely worried for her angry werewolf.Kyle swung first, missing as Tori ducked and landed a strong punch to his torso knocking the air out of his lungs. He coughed, but swung on her again. Tori just sidestepped and cracked him across the face with a mean right hook. He stumbled back clutching his nose as blood trickled through his fingers."You bitch! You broke my nose!" Kyle cried out as his buddies started dragging him away to their ugly yellow jeep before it got any worse for him."I'll break more than just your nose!" Tori growled through her fangs as Jade placed a calming hand on her shoulder."You won, Tori, let's get out of here." Jade kissed her cheek making Tori grumble then smile as her girlfriend led them to her bike, holding her to-go box in one hand with the other holding Tori's.They climbed onto the seat and Jade held onto Tori with one arm and held her food in her lap with the other.Making sure Jade was secure, Tori started the engine and drove out of the lot toward the famous boardwalk. After a few minutes of driving, they stopped near the ancient wooden dock, but Tori led them out onto the sand down a grassy dune where they walked for a while near the water holding hands.Jade, was still carrying her fries not wanting to leave her food out in the open on Tori's bike."Thanks for taking care of that perv for me. You were so hot." Jade smirked as Tori blushed through her own smirk."Of course! I have to defend my beautiful girlfriend's honor." Tori puffed her chest with pride. That's the first fight she'd ever won and the fact that Jade was impressed and thought she was hot was just the cherry on top."I still can't believe that jerk, though! I mean, the nerve!" Tori scowled as they stopped walking and sat on a smooth boulder near the gently crashing waves. Jade was going to agree when she heard Tori's stomach rumble hungrily over the sound of calling gulls and active water."Hungry again?" Jade asked with an amused smirk."Ugh, yes." Tori sighed unhappily."Here, we can share my fries." Jade opened the bag and sat the box on top of it between them on the stone before Tori could protest. "Open."Jade held up a plastic fork loaded with chili fries and Tori grinned thankfully before taking the offered bite into her mouth. Jade took a bite herself and they ate together in content silence watching the waves and fluffy white clouds drift by."This is really nice." Tori said with a happy sigh as Jade put the now empty to-go box in the bag to throw away when they leave."Yeah, it really is." Jade smiled leaning her head on her girlfriend's shoulder as Tori wrapped an arm around her holding her close."I still can't believe it. I'm actually on a date with Jade west. I'm so lucky." Tori rubbed her face against her girlfriend's soft raven and green locks, taking in her minty vanilla tinted scent.Jade smiled and kissed her neck as she herself took in the smell of Tori's fresh rain and cedarwood scented perfume.The moment was interrupted by a ping from Jade's phone. The goth reluctantly pulled away to look at the message on her screen. She scowled."What's up, babe?" Tori asked seeing the change in Jade's mood."My dad is home early and he's pissed." Jade's growl rivaled one of her own. "I need to go home.""Okay, let's get you to your car." Tori was disappointed that their time together was cut short, but she was happy to have spent the night and most of today with her new girlfriend, so she couldn't complain."Sorry, I know we were having a great time, but he'll have an aneurysm if I don't get back soon." Jade sighed as they stood and walked hand in hand the way they'd come from."It's okay, I had fun while it lasted, and we'll see eachother Monday anyway." Tori shrugged with a smile."I know, but ugh! I hate him. He always ruins good things for me." Jade grumbled kicking a forgotten sand castle over."Hey! I bet some kid worked hard on that." Tori laughed teasing her grumpy girl and got a small smile as they trudged up the sand dune. Jade tossed the trash in a trash can and hopped onto the motorcycle behind Tori.Again, they pulled out onto the road, headed for Hollywood Arts high this time.-They drove the twenty five or so minutes to the school and pulled to a stop beside Jade's silver car the goth had left behind after their performances last night. Jade got off the idling bike and gave Tori her guitar case from the backseat before giving the brunette a steamy kiss.Tori was smiling stupidly as she pulled the straps to her case over her shoulders and they said their goodbyes."See you Monday, Jade. I'll buy you a coffee, first thing." Tori said before revving her engine."I'll hold you to that, baby." Jade smiled blowing a kiss to her girlfriend as she got in her car. She shook her head with a laugh as Tori mimed catching the kiss and held it over her heart.Tori pulled out of the lot first and shot off down the highway in the opposite direction of Jade's car. The goofy smile didn't leave her face for the rest of the day.She got the girl.
