Niji was smiling at him, which used to be the first sign of a beating. Instead, Sanji stood, putting the romance book inside the cover of a war history book down on the side table.“To what do I owe the displeasure?” Sanji said.“We found something of yours,” Niji was still smiling, “We thought you’d wanna come see.”“What is it?”“Come see.”Sanji looked Niji up and down. Well-tailored suit, well-combed hair, well-shined shoes. Sanji underdressed on purpose, plain shirt and trousers, his hair clipped out of his face to display the mismatched eyes his father hated. There were few rebellions he got away with, but he grasped each one he got with both braceleted hands. “Just tell me.”“No.” And with that Niji turned to leave Sanji’s quarters again, holding the door open, “Come on.”Sanji followed, hands raised ready for the attack on the other side of the door. But none came. Instead, Niji walked barely ahead with him, that smile still there.Niji took him under the castle into the dungeons. Ichiji and Yonji were in the corridor between the cells, Ichiji sat on an upturned crate. Both were grinning the same grin, and Sanji wondered if that creepy smirk sat in his face when he smiled too.“We picked up something of yours,” Ichiji said.“Yeah, Niji said,” Sanji said, “What is it?”Yonji nodded at the cell and laughed. Sanji stepped up to the bars of his old cell and peered inside. The bars Reiju had bent had been replaced, the metal shiny in their obvious newness. The cell was dark, light streaming in from just one small window. The figure inside was hunched over, streaked with blood and grime. His wrists were in metal cuffs on short chains anchoring him to the floor. He was breathing in slow, deep movements, meditating through his pain and fear.Sanji gripped the bars as he recognised, of all the damned things, the man’s breathing. “Mosshead!”“Cook?”Zoro’s head rose. Blood caked his face, thick down one cheek below the hole where his remaining eye had been. He turned his face, seeking Sanji out.“What the fuck did you do to him?” Sanji demanded.“So he is yours,” Ichiji said.“What the fuck did you do?!”“Hey, he attacked us!”“Yeah!” Niji added, “He flew at us and kept calling us perverts!”“And kept asking us why we changed our hair colour,” Yonji added.“And then out of nowhere he realised he was fighting three people,” Ichiji added, “And then called us Sanji – that hurt.”“But at least we knew he was yours,” Niji said, “So we brought him back here for you. Think of him as maybe a peace offering.”Ichiji scoffed.“The blinding was more of a precaution,” Yonji said, “Made it easier to subdue him. He’s a stubborn bastard.”“What the fuck are you assholes talking about!” Zoro yelled, “I can still take you!”“Sure,” Yonji laughed.“Let him go,” Sanji said, “There’s no need to keep him here.”“Oh, Sanji,” Niji tutted, “You know no one leaves the dungeon alive.”“I did.”“No, Sanji. You had a bad accident, and you were in a coma for years and then made a miraculous recovery. You had these weird dreams in the coma that you were locked up, and then you were a chef, and then you were a pirate. You get so confused sometimes.”“You know what I’m talking about, asshole.”“What’s going on?!” Zoro yelled.“No, I think Sanji might be right,” Ichiji said, “We don’t have any use for a blind pirate hunter. Here, he’s just a useless extra mouth to feed. He’s better off dead.”“No!” Sanji cried.“Bring it on, Curly Brows!” Zoro yelled.“Unless,” Ichiji stood, close enough to Sanji to brush noses with him, “We can think of a better use for him.”“What do you mean?” Sanji shrank against the bars.“I don’t know. Can you think of a use for a man with nice tits within the castle?”Sanji balked.“Of course, he’s no good to me. He’s a dumb, smelly oaf and I can’t stand that. But he had a hard on the whole fight, until he realised none of us were you. And then he got bored.”“Do you normally look at people’s dicks when you fight them?” Sanji said.Ichiji’s hand flew up, slapping Sanji clean across the face. Sanji gripped the bars behind him to keep himself upright.“I can think of something he can do!” Yonji put his hand up like a schoolboy, “You said we could solve the bracelets problem!”“Yes,” a throb of irritation pulsed on Ichiji’s forehead, “I did say that.”“Bracelets problem?” Sanji said. His own bracelets were digging into the bars as he clung to them.“Yeah, members of the underworld have noticed you wear bracelets and we don’t,” Niji said, “One guy asked me if they were treasure you’d kept from being a pirate.”“You’re standing out too much, Sanji,” Ichiji said, “And you need to get back in line. So we have a little idea for you. It’s got two parts, so pay close attention.“Part one; you publicly denounce ever being a pirate. It was a mistake at Newscoo to use a picture of you in place of this Straw Hat Sanji. We’ll remove the bracelets and put them on your friend here; first his ankles, then his wrists. You make one wrong move and boom.”Sanji flinched at the word.“Part two; you keep your friend here as a companion. Of course, we’ll have to convince Father he’ll be useful. He’s not convinced threatening someone else’s life is an effective motivator. Sometimes he seems to forget he doesn’t have feelings.”“That’s not really two parts,” Sanji said, “You just want to keep him alive to control me.”“Not just that. Having all these emotions inside you must be really stressful. He can make himself useful being your stress release.”“What do you mean?”Ichiji grins. “I’m not dumb, Sanji. You two fucked.”Sanji’s grip on the bars tightened enough to dent them.“He was so excited to see you. To fight you. To make any physical contact with you. And the second he realised it wasn’t you, his excitement disappeared.”“You don’t know what you’re talking about.”Ichiji’s hand flew up again, backhanding Sanji.“Back off, asshole!” Zoro yelled.Niji swung a fat key on a thin chain. “Just agree to it Sanji. Or we’ll have to kill him.”“Fine,” Sanji reached for the key, “I’ll take him.”Yonji laughed out loud. Niji tossed him the key, and Sanji jingled it into the lock. The creak of the gate was all to familiar. Sanji dove into the cell, taking Zoro’s head in his hands and cradling him.“Cook?” Zoro said.“Yeah, mosshead, it’s me. How long have you been down here?”“Not long. Couple of hours. Where are we?”“The dungeon under the castle.”“The where?”“It’s a long story,” Sanji shuffled back, looking Zoro over, “I’ll explain later. You need a bath and a check-up.”Zoro pulled on his cuffs.“Where’s the key to his cuffs?” Sanji called to the triplets.Ichiji had sat back down on his crate, Niji leaning against the bars to look in.“You need to break him in first,” Ichiji said.Sanji gawped at him. “What?”“You heard me.”“You… want to watch me fuck my crewmate?”“Your companion. Or maybe servant would work better for Father.”“He’s fully blind,” Niji reminded him.“We’ll figure something out, shut up!”“You’re sick,” Sanji said.“I guess you don’t want him then.”Sanji wrapped his arms around Zoro as Ichiji rose.“Make your damned mind up! You’re so fucking difficult!”Zoro nudged against Sanji and Sanji leant in close to him. Zoro mumbled into Sanji’s neck and pulled on his cuffs again.“What’s it gonna be, number three?” Ichiji said, “I’m getting bored of waiting for you.”Sanji stood. His legs were lead under him. He stepped around Zoro, the swordsman curled over himself, head hung. The smell of iron was thick on the air as Sanji bent down behind Zoro. He took Zoro by the legs and tugged, Zoro’s legs unfolding from under him to lie on the unwashed stone floor.Zoro grunted, his legs stiff from sitting still so long. He braced his arms on the floor as Sanji dropped to straddle him.Yonji laughed and jeered something, but Sanji’s head was too woolly to make sense of his words as he pulled Zoro’s waistband down. Zoro’s skin pimpled up in the cold air, toned thighs and ass slick with blood and sweat.Sanji spat into his hand. One of the triplets guffawed. Sanji dropped his hand to Zoro’s ass and pressed a finger straight in. Zoro groaned, the sting melted into the numbness of Zoro’s lower half and Zoro tried to relax against the intrusion.  Sanji pressed a second finger in, scissoring so violently he has almost kneading Zoro’s sensitive skin. His fingers were strong, usually more practiced and precise than this.Zoro’s half hard cock grazed the stone below as Sanji pressed a third finger in. Zoro’s legs tensed and his stomach flipped, and he wasn’t sure if it was anger or excitement twisting his muscles. He’d spent so long trying to rile Sanji into being rougher with him, and he was finally getting it. All the times he’s yelled at Sanji to get a move on and just fuck him, all the times he’s shoved Sanji down and ridden him, all the times he’s intentionally riled Sanji into a blatant hate fuck – none of it could have prepared him for this. For this cold cell, for these cold shackles, for the cold, amused stared of the Not-Sanjis crawling over his skin.Sanji’s belt rattled, a sound so familiar to Zoro it was almost Pavlovian. Zoro pushed his hips back, back arched ready to take him.One of the Not-Sanjis laughed. “Look at them! He’s a bitch in heat!”Sanji ignored him. He lined himself up and pressed in. His body folded over Zoro’s pressing in close to whisper in Zoro’s ear.“I’m gonna be as quick as I can, okay?” he whispered.Zoro mumbled back. He rolled his hips up into Sanji and gasped as he was filled.Sanji rose and took Zoro by the hips. He fucked him deep and quick, the slap of his hips against Zoro’s ass echoing around the cell, a rapid drumbeat to his panting.Zoro grunted. His arms forced to his sides, the only thing bracing him against the grimy floor was his face, forcibly rubbing against the stone with ever thrust. He turned his fresh eye wound away from the coarse friction but every jolt still sent pain through his entire head, rattling his skull with a wet burn. The Not-Sanjis cackled and jeered. Zoro’s Haki picked up one of them groping himself over his trousers, one baring an obvious bulge, and the third blatantly exposing and stroking himself.Sanji’s gasps turned into quiet mumbles. Even here, Sanji’s gentleman pervert tendencies took over as his orgasm approached.Zoro let his Haki cling to the mumbling, anything to distract himself from the pain in his face and ass. Promises that Sanji was going to get Zoro out of here. Praise for staying so still for him. Compliments on his muscled ass and back, on how hot he looks streaked in blood, how sexy he is bent over compliant for him.Sanji came with a restrained grunt and pulled out before his orgasm was even complete, spurting his semen down Zoro’s hole and taint. Zoro shuddered, aroused disgust finally sinking into his throat.Footsteps on the cell floor. Sanji dragged Zoro’s waistband back up.“What are you doing?” Sanji said.“Relax,” Niji said, wet patch in his crotch, “I’m just gonna move some bracelets, yeah?”He held up a small gold key. Sanji held his hands up for Niji to unlock one of the bracelets, and Niji stooped to lock it around Zoro’s ankle, having to drag his boots off first. The gold criss-crossed with the scars on Zoro’s ankles, shiny against the hacked lines.Sanji replaced Zoro’s boot as Yonji took over putting the other removed bracelet around Zoro’s ankle. Niji unfastened Zoro’s shackles, the cuffs opening with dull thuds.Ichiji was still sat on the crate, still stroking himself. Zoro staggered to his feet, Sanji tucking the bracelets into his boots as he stood.“We have a meeting with Father and some underworld representatives tomorrow,” Niji said, “We’ll come see you beforehand, make sure you’re dressed appropriately.”Yonji cupped Zoro’s bulge. Zoro’s fist rose to cuff him in the face. Sanji threw his arms around Zoro, not strong enough to stop him but strong enough to surprise him into stopping.“He’s my companion, not yours,” Sanji said as firmly as he dared, “Don’t touch.”Ichiji laughed. He came, and the laugh dropped into an ecstatic moan.“He’s still hard,” Yonji said, “You’re just gonna leave him like that?”“Yes I am,” Sanji said, “My companion, not yours.”“Leave him,” Ichiji said as Yonji opened his mouth to retort, “You can bed someone of your own taste. Leave the grimy Sanji-slave to him.”“Shut the fuck up,” Sanji said.Ichiji waved a little remote at him and Sanji’s grip on Zoro tightened.“Until tomorrow, dear brother,” Ichiji pocketed the remote and turned to leave.Niji and Yonji followed him like his shadow. Yonji grabbed the door of the cell and gave it a good slam as he left, the familiar clang jolting Sanji with fear. One of them also made sure to slam the dungeon door. After five seconds of silence, sure they were gone, Sanji collapsed into Zoro’s side sobbing.Zoro put his arm around Sanji, stroking his hair softly. Feeling was returning to his legs, first pins and needles, then exhaustion, then burning pain.“I’m sorry,” Sanji sobbed into Zoro’s shoulder, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry…”“Shut up,” Zoro shook him, “Where’s Luffy?”“He’s dead. Big Mom shut him and Nami in a storybook and threw the book in the ocean. He can’t have survived that.”Zoro swallowed hard. “Brook?”“In Big Mom’s collection. She took him with her when she fled from Shanks.”“Chopper?”“In Brûlée’s Mirror World. Brûlée went with Big Mom too.”“Okay so,” Zoro rubbed at his face as he thought, “How do we get to Big Mom? Also, who the fuck is Big Mom? And what is a Mirror World? And what’s a collection?”Sanji managed to laugh. “It’s a long story. And you stink.”“Just tell me.”“I’ll tell you while you take a damned bath,” Sanji put his arm around Zoro and started to guide him out of the cell, “And I’ll call a medic for your wounds. I didn’t hurt you more did I?”“No,” Zoro lied, “You couldn’t hurt me, Shitty Cook.”“Sure I couldn’t. Come on. Let’s get you cleaned up, caught up, and we’ll start making some sort of plan.”Zoro let Sanji guide him out. His Haki bounced about the cell, struggling to differentiate between walls and floors; he trained to monitor people and fights, not his full environment. Mihawk had constantly told him to expand his attention, and Zoro had constantly ignored him.Would Mihawk even agree to a duel with a blind man? Zoro was going to have to find out. And if he wouldn’t, Zoro would have to make him. After all, as he’d whispered to Sanji in the cell; he couldn’t rise to the World’s Greatest Swordsman if he was dead under Germa 66. The Not-Sanjis were just another smear of blood in his rise to the top.
