Ecks floated up towards the mountain peak near the lab. He often sees Ten pacing around here whenever he needs to relax.
As expected, Ten was indeed there. He was sitting on the edge, his legs dangling off into the seemingly endless drop below. He stared longingly at the sky, the pinks and reds of the sunset reflecting off of his purple body.Ecks wanted to bolt up to him immediately, but halted before he did. He didn't want to scare him, even though it would be funny. He quietly hovered towards him, just enough so he could hear him over the whistling wind.
"Hey Ten." Ecks squeaked.
Ten swiveled around, blinking in surprise. "Ecks? What are you doing here?"
"Looking for you!" Ecks jeers, dashing beside his boyfriend. "You've been out all day, it's gotten quite lonely without you.""You have Shun, why don't you talk to him."
"Well… I like him and all, but you can only talk to someone so long before it gets boring." Ecks chuckles, shrugging. "Plus you respond more.""I wish I couldn't respond as well, but you would keep talking my ear off.""But yet you keep talking." Ecks grins, sticking his tongue out playfully.Ten sighed. "You want something from me don't you?""What!?! No way! …But just in case, what do you think I want?""Ecks–" Ten started, but quickly stopped himself. He paused for a moment, considering his next move carefully."I'm cold," He huffs as he extended his arm. "come here."Ecks beamed, he knew all too well what that meant.He promptly flew into Ten's lap and snuggled close to his chest, making sure he was as close as possible to him. He gazed up at the much taller wire, all with a wide smirk on his face.
Ten quickly looked away from those adorable eyes, crimson flushing his face. "You better enjoy this while it lasts."Ecks joyfully squeaks out. "Oh, I am!" He then wraps his arms around his companion, chuckling happily while doing so.
Ten shivered, his laugh didn't fail to make him breathless.
He returned the hug, and as he did the coldness of the outside world seemed to disappear. Ten halted his movement, closing his eyes slowly. Trying to savor the sensation for as long as possible. Alas, he could still feel the ever hyperactive Ecks squirming under his grasp."Don't you ever stop moving?""Don't you ever stop complaining?" Ecks mocked, glaring up at him. "Less talk, more snuggling."Touché.Ecks then immediately went back to snuggling up against his partner's neck, an action which he does a lot. Ten responded by patting the prong-like thing on top of his head, which he seemed to like.
"Hey, Tennnn…" Ecks purred, playfully tracing his finger in one of the notches in Ten's body. "May I?"He simply rolled his eyes. "Go ahead."Ecks blinked. Getting this far was unheard of.
Nevertheless, he left a gentle trail of kisses along the nape of Ten's neck and collar. Ten sighed and leaned into it.
How embarrassing.
After a while (and many kisses), Ecks started to slow down, finally ending with a yawn. He gave Ten one last kiss, then plopped his head on his chest once again.
"Thanks." Ecks tiredly mumbled.Ten couldn't help but smile."... No need to thank me."
