It has been 2 whole years since Alex left me. And I don't know what to do.

Should I just move on from her? It's not like she can ever come back, she didn't even bother to tell me where she moved.

One part of me wants to believe that she'll come back, but the other wants to believe that she's nothing now.

Who am I to just forget about her?

I used to love her after all.
▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ The bright sunlight crept into the dark room as the curtains were drawn open. The sunlight revealed a bedroom that actually looked shitty and messed up. Should this bedroom even be considered a bedroom? The bedroom had multiple dirty clothes, unopened and opened bags of snacks and/or chips, and a lot of almost everything on the ground. A bed was on the side of the wall, it was a complete mess. The blanket that was supposedly on the bed, was now only a second away from falling off. And the pillows? Well, they're on the ground. A desk was at the end of the bed. On the desk was a desk light, a small laptop, and loads of homework and notebooks. The chair that was supposed to be tucked into the desk, was on the ground. The rug in the middle of the room was dirty, and the bean bags were roughed up. In front of the bean bags, was a wall TV. The TV was playing a random ass livestream of some guy playing a shooting game on MeTube, apparently..this stream had been going on for 3-4 hours. Underneath the TV was a TV stand. On the TV stand were books, really well drawn drawings, and framed childhood pictures. Look to the other side, all you'll see is a dresser with an alarm clock on top, and multiple posters everywhere. The posters traveled from one side of the room, to the other. If you count them all, you'd probably count 35. Which is a lot in my opinion. But long story short, this bedroom is absolutely shitty. The TV screen showed that livestream on MeTube, the man in the stream was raging as he got killed by another dumbass, he threatened to throw his headphones at the camera. Then, in an instant, the TV screen shut off. A reflection was shown on the now black TV screen. The black TV screen's reflection show a 5'6 17 year old boy, or a short boy. The boy had unkempt, messy dirty-ish blond hair. His eyes were the color of dirt, brown, dark circles were presented underneath his eyes. He wore a baggy t-shirt that had the band 'NIRVANA' on it, his shirt was so baggy that it reached above his knees. He had baggy checkered pants too which those uneven strings around his waist. He had bruises and cuts all over his body, from his arms to his legs. He had one cut on his left cheek that was still fresh. The boy was holding a TV remote towards the TV in the reflection. His finger was pressing against the rubbery surface of the power button on the remote, before briefly lifting it up. His hand placed the remote down onto one of the bean bag, and walked over to the dresser. He opened a drawer, taking out a plain white t-shirt, a green sweater with a big fat yellow star in the middle, jean jorts, and of course a belt. He closes the drawer, looking at the alarm clock on the dresser.
Thursday, October 20, 2022. 6:41 AM.
The boy sighed, he started to change into the clothes he has in his hands. He threw his dirty clothes off to the other piles of clothes. He grabbed a glasses case that was on his bedside table, opening it to reveal a clean pair of glasses. He grabs the glasses, placing them on his face. He adjusts it to make sure he'll be able to see properly. He looks around his room, groaning loudly just at the sight of it. But, he directs his attention to the calendar that was hanging next to his bed. He looks at the date and the event.
20TH OF OCTOBER, 2022.

PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB MEETING AT 7:30 AM. (GET THERE AT 7:25 TO GRAB YOUR SUPPLIES!)
SCIENCE PROJECT DUE.  DELAYED TO NEXT WEEK.
DO A FAVOR AND CLEAN YOUR DAMN ROOM.
The boy sighed as he saw the words "CLEAN YOUR DAMN ROOM!". He thought it was tiring to clean his room, he cleaned his room every month already. He already thought it was a hassle just going to school. He thought that everything was tiring. But, even though everything was tiring for him. He always said that living was the best thing that happened to him, and he still says that. The boy was very positive and happy, but always was lazy and tired. Then suddenly, loud knocks burst from the other side of the boy's bedroom door. Someone was knocking on his door, very aggressively. The boy groaned loudly, stomping over to the door, opening it violently. "What? What do you want?" Yelled the boy, clearly every tired and stressed. "Geez, calm down Mr. Insomnia. You clearly binge watched some show or rewatched Scott Pilgrim for the 40th time." The person in front of the door was a 5'8 15 year old girl, she had her smooth, blond hair up into a ponytail. She had pitch black eyes, if you ever looked into them too deeply, you'll end up in a void of nothing. Her face was perfectly smooth and clear, and she was wearing a baby blue thin strap tank top with gray sweatpants. "I actually didn't, Ms. Popular.." He leaned against the doorframe, crossing his arms and rolling his eyes, "I actually was watching Kubz Scouts on MeTube and passed out. When I woke up, the TV screen was showing me a fat ass guy raging at some shooting game." "That's quite a shock." She muttered, she put her hands to her hips, "But that's besides the point. Mom just told me to tell you to get ready for that club meeting." "Ah, well tell her I'll be done in a second. Would'ja Jenni?" The boy lifted himself from the frame, giving her a thumbs up. The girl, or Jenni, nodded, before running off downstairs. The boy was left there with a dumb, awkward smile on his face, and his hands in a thumbs up.  ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ The boy and other students were all in a room, sitting at a table. The boy being the only kid there with his lunch on the table. Another student was standing in front of a whiteboard with an open expo marker in hand, on the whiteboard had the words 'GARDENING SHOWCASE FESTIVAL AT 11AM! PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB MUST MEET UP HERE AT 10:45AM!' The boy had his elbow on the table, and his hand supporting his head from falling. He could feel his eyes closing. "And that's all! Okay, remember guys. The Gardening Club Showcase Festival will start at 11 AM, so we get there 15 minutes early. We're gonna meet up in here, the Photography Club Room. Be sure to bring your own camera, but if you forgot remember that this club room has extra cameras. Be sure to take good quality photos!" The kid standing up, which is implied to be the Photography Club President, tells all of the people in the room, the club members, to do the stuff they need to do, "Okay, I won't take up the rest of your time! You're dismissed!" The members, including the boy start to leave. The blond haired boy shoved the rest of his breakfast sandwich into his mouth, he walks over to the door to leave before being stopped by the Club President. "Hey, Aiden. Mind if I ask you something real quick?"
The kids name is Aiden. The dirty-ish blond haired kid with brown eyes and dark circles underneath, with cuts and bruises all over his body and that one cut on his face that was now concealed by a white patch bandages, with a green sweater with a big fat yellow star in the middle, jean jorts, a bandage on his knee, green-white striped knee-length socks that was scrunched underneath the knee a bit, dirty converses, and glasses on his face. That's Aiden.
"Huh? Oh, yeah sure Jordan." Aiden scoots away from the door, facing his body towards the Club President, Jordan. "Your photos are very clear and beautiful. It's considered to be professional compared to everyone else, even mine." Jordan praises Aiden for his hard work in the photos he's taken. "Really? Better than yours? Please don't flatter me! You're the Club President for a reason!" Aiden dodged the compliment by prasing Jordan back, Jordan scratched the back of his neck in embarrassment, "But, what do you want really?" "Well, I was thinking of asking you to be the main photographer of this festival." Jordan's words made Aiden's eyes widen and the edge of his lips smile, "Since your photos are basically 4k Quality, the entire club decided that you should take photos for the yearbook!" "Really? This is too much for me to accept, Jordan!" Aiden waved his hands, he felt his face blush a bit at the request. "No way! You've got lots of potential! You can maybe even get into a good college or university with this kind of talent! I know how hard you're trying to get a scholarship, and here you go! Take this opportunity!" Jordan exclaimed, praising Aiden even more then before. Aiden smiled just hearing Jordan praise him like some sort of god. "You know what? Sure. I'll take this opportunity and be the main photographer!" "Yay! Thank you so much Aiden! You'll do an excellent job! "I know I know. I've gotta go now! I'll see yah!" Aiden walks out of the Club room, he walks down the hallway in full confidence and happiness throughout every bone of his body. In the hallway Aiden was walking in was the Club Room Hallway. Can you guess why it's named that? If you get it, good, but if you don't, here. The reason why it's named that is because the entire hallway is only club rooms. In every direction you look at in this hallway, you'll definitely see a club room. But every single hallway of this school was like this, which is why the school's called "Hallway Creek School". If you turned to the left of the hallway after seeing the Arts & Crafts Club, you'd enter the Hallway of Lockers. It's obvious why it's called that. This entire hallway is the hallway where everyone's lockers are. Expect that one singular locker in the Faculty Hallway. But that's besides the point. Aiden walks over to his locker, which was in-between the cruelest people of the entire school, and the girls that gossip 24/7. It was always so hard trying to get your stuff without hearing the words, "WHY DO YOU HAVE A GIRL'S PHOTO IN YOUR LOCKER?" By one of the gossip girls, or when you're even trying to live. Those 'cruel people' will either beat you up for breathing or touching their arm, even though it's blocking the FUCKING locker. Aiden hated all of that when he was gonna get his supplies. If Aiden ever had a choice, he would move to that singular locker in the middle of the faculty hallway. Why was there one locker though? It's because that locker couldn't fit in the 'Hallway of Lockers', so they moved it to the hallway next to it. The Faculty Hallway. It would suck to have a locker like that since the faculty will always look inside while your getting your stuff. Aiden sometimes wondered why he had to be in-between these random ass, unwanted NPCS. But, it wasn't always like that. Before one of the gossip girls moved to the empty locker next to Aiden, Aiden had his childhood best friend. Alex. Alex was that one person who was a hardcore alt rock fangirl. She had lots of merch and posters of every band there was, went to concerts, and owned CDS. Alex and Aiden were childhood best friends. Alex would defend Aiden from the 'cruelest people in the school', gift him gifts, give him some of her stuff, play her CDS to him, and hang out before, during, and after school. They were considered to be the most inseparable duo in the entire school. If you saw on of them somewhere, the other one would be there. It would stay like that until 9th grade. What happened during 9th grade? Well... ⇢ ˗ˏˋ 𝔽𝕃𝔸𝕊ℍ𝔹𝔸ℂ𝕂 ࿐ྂ "Denny! Our lockers are right here!" A 5'3 14 year old girl rushes down the hallway, filled with older students trying to find and/or decorate their locker. The girl had long black hair with a pink extension in it. Her eyes were pitch black, but had a big spark lightening up the void. She wore a hello kitty shirt with ripped up jeans, paired with converses with sharpie written on it. She also wore it with multiple bracelets, necklaces, a improperly fitted belt, and mesh gloves. She had her entire look, and it was perfectly adorable. The girl was holding a 5'5 14 year old boy's wrist, the boy was crying out loud as he was getting dragged down the hallway. "A-Alex! Wait up! You're running to fast!" Cried out the boy. The boy had fluffy blond hair with brown eyes, he wore glasses and a bandage on his right cheek. He had a flower yarn sweater with a camera around his neck, he wore long baggy jeans with a properly fitted belt. He had converses too, but it just looked dirty. He had a small flower hair clip in his hair. The girl stopped in front of two lockers, the boy looked up to see them. The lockers had the names 'ALEXANDRA MAY' and 'AIDEN MICHIGAN'. If you haven't gotten the hint yet, the boy with the stupid flower yarn sweater is 9th grade Aiden. And the absolutely adorable cutest beautiful pretty looking girl is Alex, the girl who was childhood best friends with Aiden. "Told yah, Denny! You owe me a Monster Energy by tomorrow!" Alex pats Aiden's shoulder, puffing out her chest proudly. Aiden sighed as he rubbed his head. "Guess I do.. Why do I always lose the bets between you?" Aiden groaned. Alex looks at him, chuckling. "Because it's natural to lose to me! I am after all, the best person you've ever met!" Alex puts her hand to her chest dramatically. Aiden watches in a neutral expression. "You don't know that." Alex looks at Aiden, dumbfounded. "Whatt? I'm not!" Alex whined. Aiden looks at her pouting and whining. He looks away, blushing slightly. "You know that was a joke...But I need you to promise me one thing so you can be the best person I've met." Aiden crossing his arms, Alex looks at Aiden confused, "Promise me, that I won't finish highschool alone. And that you'll never leave me." "Huh? Of course I won't leave you Denny! You're everything to me! I promise I won't leave you!" Alex goes to hug Aiden, Aiden blushes hearing the words 'You're everything to me'. Aiden hugs Alex back. "Good..also drop the damn nickname." ⇢ ˗ˏˋ 𝕋𝕀𝕄𝔼𝕊𝕂𝕀ℙ ࿐ྂ "You're..moving..?" Stuttered Aiden, Alex and Aiden were outside the school. It was dusk, and Aiden and Alex were talking. Alex was looking down, holding her arm in regret. Aiden looked at Alex in disbelief and betrayal. He felt as if his entire world had shattered. "Y..Yes..I am." Alex's voice breaks, she felt incredibly guilty. She still remembers the promise she gave Aiden at the start of 9th grade. It was the day before the 10th grade graduation. "Where..where are you moving? Huh? At least tell me so I can visit you..!" Aiden takes a step towards Alex, going to grab her hand. Alex swipes his hand away from hers. "I can't tell you. I won't tell you." "What..? What do you mean by that Alex?! You can't tell your own childhood best friend where you're moving?!" Aiden snapped, tears formed in his eyes. Alex sobbed internally and quietly, she took a step back from Aiden, "I've been your friend ever since we were 5! We've been friends for 10 years Alex! Why are you moving?" "It...I...I won't tell you." Alex repeated the same words, Aiden's fists rolled up into a ball in confusion and sadness. "We can still text, right?!" "..I'm getting a new number." Aiden looked at Alex's new sentence. He couldn't believe what was going on, he pinched himself on the arm to try and convince himself it's just a dream. He didn't wake up from this 'dream'. It was actually happening. "Alex. Why!? Why did you have to leave me right before we graduate 10th grade! I don't wanna go through the rest of high school without you!" Aiden walks up to Alex slowly, pulling her into a tight embrace. Alex didn't return the hug back. "D..Denny..." Alex stuttered, shocked by Aiden's sudden outburst earlier. "Don't call me that. I told you multiple time. Just let me hug you for a few second. Please.." Cried Aiden, this was for real. Alex could feel Aiden's tears soak through Alex's baggy NIRVANA shirt, "The reason..why you gave me so much stuff..was because your moving. right?" Alex nodded, Aiden just hugged her tighter. "Aiden..take this as my last gift." Alex takes off her NIRVANA shirt, to reveal her tank-top. Alex hands Aiden her NIRVANA shirt she had just worn, "Please..I didn't bring a gift with me, so take this." "A..Alex..I'm gonna miss you so fucking much. Why didn't you tell me earlier..?" Aiden backs away from Alex as he was given Alex's just worn shirt, he hugged it tightly. The shirt getting soaked in Aiden's tears. "Me too..Aiden." ⇢ ˗ˏˋ ℙℝ𝔼𝕊𝔼ℕ𝕋 ࿐ྂ The final bell rang, Aiden grabbed his supplies and walked out the classroom. He yearned for the chance to finally pass out on the bed once he got home, he yawned loudly as he passed through the full hallway of random NPC students. He stretched his body, feeling the joints in his spine crack satisfyingly. He could feel the weird conversations around him, and even heard some weird ass rumor about him. It wasn't a shock to him really, he's gotten used to this. Even though he acts positive and happy with everybody, they all hate it. He doesn't know what to do to make people smile and laugh, so he gave up. He's more tired during school, but is still nice to people. This caused some weird rumors about him, such as "The reason why Aiden is so tired nowadays is because he lost the ability to walk yesterday.". Really, it's disgusting. And I thought that one rumor where they said Aiden liked to clip his toenails and sell them on Craigslist was weird. Eugh. Aiden passed through the Hallway of Classrooms and Clubrooms, reaching to the Hallway of Lockers. He opened his locker to reveal Homework, Homework, and Homework. One singular photograph was taped to the locker, the photo showed Alex and Aiden when they were younger out at a park. Aiden stared at the photo, sighing in tiredness. He put away his stuff, closed the locker, and slowly scooted his way towards the exit. ⇢ ˗ˏˋ 𝕋𝕀𝕄𝔼𝕊𝕂𝕀ℙ ࿐ྂ "You just want hot coffee, correct?" Asked a barista, Aiden was standing in front of the lady that was behind the counter. "Yes, please.." Aiden ran a hand through his head, the barista typed in his order, looking up from the screen. "With mil-" "Hot Coffee, please. No milk. Just coffee in a cup that's hot. Thanks." "$2.65." Aiden took out his wallet with a bunch of 1's, 10's, and cents. He took out 3$, placing it on the counter. "Keep the change, I'm too lazy to grab the change." Aiden took out his phone from his pocket, the barista nodded. She grabbed the money that was left on the counter and placed it in the register. Aiden walked away to a table, he sat down on the seat, texting someone. ˏˋ°•*⁀➷・❥・

Fatass Sister :

'kay lazy ass, get home b4 curfew. Mom is gonna be maddd.'
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷・❥・ Aiden scoffed as he read his sisters text back, he already knew to get home before curfew. It's not like he's dumb or anything. Suddenly, a notification came up on Aiden's phone. It was from an unknown number, and it sent a text saying.. 'HEYYYY'. Aiden looked at the notification in confusion. He hadn't given anyone his number, and he definitely did NOT leak it. So who could this person be? Aiden pressed on the notification, his phone bringing him to the chat. He tried procrastinating who this person could be. Could this be Caleb's number? No, he already gave me his new one. Dad's? No, he left a while ago. he probably won't dare to text me. Wait.. ˏˋ°•*⁀➷・❥・ +1 (000) 000-0000

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷・❥・ Aiden stared at his screen in disbelief. He couldn't believe that the number he was texting right now was his childhood best friend, Alex. Alexandra Hailey May. The one who called him "Denny", which he hated. The one who went through an emo punk girl phase. The one who gave him her stuff. The one who left him to suffer and cry. the one who didn't even bother to tell him that she was moving. Aiden felt a mixture of emotions inside of him. What is this feeling? I should feel happy that I'm talking to Alex right now..I should be happy that she even found my number somehow. But, why do I feel so fucking angry at her? What for?! Because she moved last minute? Because she didn't wait till she was gonna move to tell me? Because she didn't tell me where she was moving? Aiden was so mad at this sight, he could crush his phone in half. Aiden looked up from his screen, seeing his hot coffee waiting for him. He got back to his seat with his coffee in his hands, he took a small sip before replying back to Alex. He still couldn't fully believe that the person who left him a while ago had texted him 2 years later. He thought he wouldn't be able to ever see or even talk to her again. He felt angry, but glad. He was so confused what feeling was mixing up in his stomach. ˏˋ°•*⁀➷・❥・ Alex

Alex :

'I'm gonna be in your area for a while, we can hang out!'

: AIDEN

'Actually..? After two years?'

Alex :

'Yeah! I wanna catch up with you! Why don't we meet up at the park we always went to at 6pm?'

: AIDEN

'Right now?!'

Alex :

'YUP! SEE YAH THEN!'
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷・❥・ Aiden looked at the chat, trying to process what he just brought himself into. Isn't this technically a date?! I'm gonna go out with the girl I used to be head over heels for?! What kind of nightmare is this!! Aiden pinched himself, he winced at the slight pain in his arm. Yup, definitely real. It's literally 5pm right now, how the fuck am I gonna get to the park? Aiden finished his coffee, he stood up from his seat and walked over to the nearby trash can, throwing his cup away. He walked out of the coffee shop with his phone still in his hands. He still couldn't believe that he was gonna talk with his old crush after two whole years of separation. The once so-called childhood best friends, catching up after two years. Wow, is this some kind of Rom Com or something? Aiden walked up the hill to the park, it was 5:34 PM right now. Alex must already be there.. Aiden could feel the winds breezing through his hair. It was shivery out today, maybe Aiden should've worn long baggy jeans instead of some stupid jorts. Aiden could see the park uphill, he started to run up the hill. Though he was confused and a bit angered, he was excited to see her. He had so many questions that he had to ask her, he couldn't wait any longer. he finally arrived at the top of the hill, seeing the entrance to the park. He walked around the park for a bit, trying to find Alex. He takes his phone out, texting Alex, asking her where she was. "Hey." Aiden looked back, his eyes widened and his mouth opened slightly. Behind him was a girl with short hair and Pink dye in her hair. She had star hair clips on the side of her head. Her outfit was well..insane and a lot to process. This wasn't a mistake, this girl is Alex.  (A FUCKING PHOTO IS SUPPOSED TO B HERE BUT IT'S NOT. I'M UPLOADING THE ART ON MY PINTEREST, VIDLIEM! CHECK OUT MY ART THERE!)
