Work Text

You lazily yawned, your vision hazy as you pulled your arms out from underneath the bed sheets and stretched them out. You sat up and rubbed your eyes with your fists, remembering that today was one of the very few days where you wouldn’t have to attend to your horrifically repetitive and increasingly boring job. You, a higher-class Addison than most other Addisons in the city, work for Queen by plastering varieties of advertisements on the city walls, most of which had her face on them promoting some product you didn’t really care about. It’s far from your dream job, but the surprisingly high pay is what entices you to not quit.Today, she promised you could have a “break day”, so to speak. You wouldn’t have to do your job that you frequently described as uneventful and lackluster, however, you would have to venture down into the basement of the mansion by the request of Queen. It’s been a while since anyone has last checked on it and she wants to make sure that everything was as it was supposed to be, which came down to nothing more than ensuring nobody could get inside. It didn’t need to be checked on most of the time anyways since the door to the basement was guarded by an encryption lock, but it's better to be safe than sorry. As you got out of bed, groomed your hair, and adorned yourself in your work outfit, you exited the room that you exclusively owned in Queen’s mansion and locked the door behind yourself.Marching down the hall that connected the rest of the mansion’s bedrooms, you greeted some Swatchlings and other denizens of the mansion on your way to the entrance of the basement. The exact moment that you approached your destination, you immediately noticed that something was wrong. The encryption lock that was preventing everyone and everything from getting inside the basement was gone. This piqued your curiosity. How was someone able to break through the encryption? What business did they have breaking inside the basement?Well, now wasn’t the time to stare and mentally ask questions. You stepped through the little corridor where the encryption lock would regularly be, looking over at the basement door. You approached it slowly, listening and watching for any signs of potential danger. The door was just barely cracked open and you could see a miniscule portion of the dark abyss that was the basement upon peeking through it.You thought that perhaps a little exploration wouldn’t hurt, pulling the door open and stepping inside. The atmosphere was a little nerve wracking at first and you weren’t sure whether you should close the door or not. If you closed it, nobody from the outside would be able to hear you scream which led to you choosing to leave it slightly agape. As you continued on your way descending down the long flights of stairs that led to the main rooms of the basement, cold air blanketed your body. Your stomach slightly churned in response to the scent of rotten glass and burnt circuit boards that became stronger the deeper you traveled into the basement. You eventually reached the first room of the basement, your dress shoes clicking against the ground. The air was especially bleak down here, a chill jolting up through you as you studied the room. The fans built inside the walls appeared broken down and pale, green wires hung melancholically as though they had been snipped.Suddenly, you heard a frustrated, robotic grunt from around the corner to the left. You slightly jumped, balling up both of your hands anxiously. A singular bead of sweat formed on your brow and ran down the side of your face, continuing down your neck. Whatever or whoever is down here must’ve heard your shoes against the basement floor and wasn’t amused by your presence. You tiptoed towards the left hallway, being careful to not allow your shoes to make too much noise. Getting jumped on your “day off” was the last thing you wanted to happen. You aimed for the doorway that led to a long room with railway tracks laid out along the ground. With both of your palms pressed gently against the wall, you tilted your body so you could look through the doorway and scan the area. Comically, a robot who appeared to be nearly 9 feet tall peered around and through the doorway at the exact same time as you. It was as if you were admiring yourself in a mirror, except the Addison staring back wasn’t you at all.The both of you made eye contact, screeching in surprise and falling backwards where you landed firmly on the uncomfy floor. You blinked your eyes a few times, unsure if what you just saw was real. After getting yourself together, you glanced up at the long-nosed robot before you. There was something about his porcelain-white face, bi-colored spectacles, and jet black hair that felt oddly familiar to you. He was holding half of his face in the palm of his hand and shaking his head, startled by his fall.Although it was ill-timed, you asked, “h-hey… were you… an Addison at one point?”The robot perked up with a puzzled expression. He didn’t seem to be interested in your question. “HUH ? WHAT THE [FiftyPercentOff] DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING IN MY [Humble Abode]??”You winced at the jarring volume of his voice, replying quietly, “um… I was sent down here.”The robot slowly stood back up, lightly fluttering his wings a few times. “OH? ARE YOU HERE TO [Kick My @$$] OUT???”“Huh? Well, I—” you hastily tried to answer before you were interrupted.“TOO BAD! I’M NOT GO1NG [Anywhere] [Around Town],” the robot angrily continued, folding his arms and averting his gaze from you.You began to stand back up as well, brushing the dirt and dust off yourself that got stuck to your clothes when you fell. “Wait! I just wanna ask a few questions, if that’s… okay with you…”Silence filled the hallway as the robot condescending stared you down. You wish that you could ask him every question you had at once, but that obviously wasn’t possible. “Could you tell me your name?” you started, already feeling a bit awkward standing in front of such an intimidating being. You started to fidget with your hands out of nervous habit.“WHAT !! YOU’RE TELL1NG [Little Ol’ Me] THAT YOU DON’T KN0W WHO THE [[Great]] AND [[Powerful]] SPAMTON G. SPAMTON IS?!!” he dramatically replies, spreading out his arms and wings in a bold display.Oh… it all makes sense now. You’ve officially met the very guy that nearly everyone in the mansion has been trying to keep out. In your time staying at Queen’s mansion, you’ve overheard whispers of a particular salesman-type named “Spamton” who, according to Swatch, “must be kept out of the mansion, and especially the basement, at all costs.” He mentioned this in a conversation he was having with another Swatchling while you were eating breakfast at Color Café.The only time you’ve encountered Spamton yourself was when you were posting one of Queen’s ads on top of an old, yellowed poster of Spamton from his glory days promoting his car dealership “Big Shot Autos”. You were unaware that the salesman himself, now fallen from grace, was stalking you from only a few feet away while you were busy covering the ad. His nose was just barely peeking out from underneath the dumpster lid he was using for cover. Just before you could finish sticking the ad to the grimy wall of the alleyway, Spamton sprung out of the dumpster and scolded you for trying to “erase him from history”. Frightened by his boisterous demeanor, you fled the alleyway and never returned. You were a bit skeptical about whether or not the burly robot before you was really he who ended up abandoned by his closest friends, so you were told. You personally weren’t one of them but one of your own friends rambled to you one time about how his fame and fortune made his companions cease their friendship with him. “I—... wait, you’re him? You’re Spamton?”“OF COURSE I AM THE [One And Only] [Number1RatedSalesman]!” Spamton hollers in response, kicking one of his feet off the ground and twirling proudly in a circle. You watch him until he stops abruptly, giving you a sharp glare. His expression shifted to one of hostility. He suddenly lurches towards you and firmly grasps both of your shoulders with his clawed hands, making you yelp. Your whole body stiffens at his touch.“ARE YOU ONE OF [[Them]]??” Spamton sneered at you, his claws digging into your clothes. “ARE YOU HERE TO DISTURB MY [Freedom] YOU LITTLE [Sponge]???”You lifted your forearms and waved your hands at him defensively, “n-no, no—!! I just— I was sent down here to, um—... to check if e-everything’s fine, and—”“EVERYTHING IS [[Fine And Dandy]], YOU [Slime],” Spamton interrupted, drawing in close. “I’VE BECOME [God],” he growled in a husky tone, his breath caressing your face. You scrunched up your features and turned away from him, praying that he wouldn’t maul you with those claws of his or bite your nose clean off the surface of your face with his pearly, almost pristine whites, because his voice sure as hell made it seem like he was about to. “I promise I’m not here t-to hurt you or anything… just— please…” you begged sheepishly. In the spur of the moment, you noticed that the warmth from the palms of Spamton’s hands was spreading down your arms. The rest of your body was becoming numb from absorbing the chilly basement air during the past few minutes.“H-How do you tolerate the cold down here so well?” you weakly asked.Spamton’s threatening temperament faded and he loosened his grasp on your shoulders. “HM? ARE YOU FEELING [Ow! Help! It Burns!]?”“Y-Yes…” you whined, apprehensively looking back at Spamton.Spamton was indecisive when it came to taking care of others after everything that has happened to him thus far. However, he noticed how you shivered in place and wrapped your arms around your own body in a futile attempt to stay warm when he let go of you. He took a step back and invitingly held out one of his clawed hands, waiting. You shakily extended your arm out and rested your hand in his.Spamton studied you and could tell that you were still uncomfortable. He put his other arm around you and pulled you in close, the colorful metal plates protecting his torso pressed against you. You shuddered, wailing under your breath at Spamton in complaint, “i-it’s so cold…”He sighed, gently ushering you away from himself for a moment. Spamton pressed a small button on one of the metal plates which seemed to loosen it from his body, allowing him to take it off. He set it down on the floor before taking a step towards you and encasing you in warmth. Despite being a robot, Spamton’s neck, torso, and inner legs were covered in soft, fluffy fur. The moment that he brought you back into his arms, you didn’t want to leave. It felt like being cradled by a cloud, the bitter cold slowly melting off you. Spamton lowered his wings to not appear as menacing towards you. He understood now that you didn’t mean any harm towards him, quickly growing fond of having you all snuggled up in his fluff. You leaned your entire body weight on Spamton and he followed suit by sitting down on the basement floor. He pulls you into his lap and rests the side of your head right in the middle of his chest, prompting a soft whimper out of you. Spamton’s fur was scented like a warm, fresh-baked vanilla cake which gave you the sudden urge to bite down on him. However, he’d probably be furious at you for doing such a thing and throw you at the wall. You reflexively straddle Spamton’s hips between your legs and put your arms around his back, returning his embrace. It seemed that so long without any physical love or affection has made you cling to anyone willing enough to give it to you. You were always so caught up in your daily work that you’ve never really been able to have a meaningful and dedicated romantic relationship.Spamton combs his hand back and forth through your hair, petting you. His synthetic heart is racing in his chest and his mind is cycling through millions of different scenarios. He kept his other hand around your body as if he would lose you forever if he were to let go. “IT’S OKAY, MY [Angel]... I’LL KEEP YOU WARM…”Your heart skipped a beat at being called an angel. Did he really think of you in that way? Were you an angel sent from above to comfort him despite every sin he’s committed? Were you a glimmer of hope sparkling amongst his madness and damnation?Spamton’s hand paused right on the top of your head and he stopped petting you before guidingly pulling your skull backwards so he could look at you face-to-face. He leans in, slowly touching his clamped teeth to your lips. It shocked you at first considering that Spamton didn’t exactly have lips, but you eventually reciprocated his affection.A cordial rush of joy spreads throughout Spamton, something that he was unfamiliar with. You felt like a dream in his hands, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that he simply couldn’t pass up on. At this point, he’d do anything and everything he could to keep you safe from harm. Anything to ensure that you could be with him for the rest of his existence. He finally felt like he had someone to share the very little amount of love and affection left in his body with, someone who knew that he wasn’t a monstrosity deep down. You would be the first to pull away and Spamton looked a little disappointed at first. However, he tried not to upset you with his expression, his mouth forming a smile. “YOU ARE… A B3AUTIFUL [Angel]...” he purrs in an unusually tender voice. He starts to bring his face close to yours again, and although it felt redundant, he waited for the right moment to kiss you again. “PLEASE… C-CAN I…”You blink and tilt your head at Spamton as if to say “yes”. Spamton immediately holds his breath and closes the singular inch between you two, his teeth pressed against your mouth for another gentle but passionate and warm kiss. The love he felt for you was beyond what words could describe. You start to shift around in Spamton’s lap, putting the palms of both your hands on his chest and running your fingers through his toasty, pleasant fur. It causes Spamton to slightly moan, not used to being touched in such a way. His head felt like it was spinning and his breath became ragged, overwhelmed with affection. You felt more and more special to him for every second that passed by. He no longer cared about finding out what heaven could possibly be like when he was already experiencing the greatest feelings he’s ever had the pleasure of knowing about. You were his heaven now.Spamton began to pet your hair again, his teeth parting for a moment so he could slide his long, black tongue across your lips. Your cheeks instantaneously turn a bright shade of pink and Spamton draws away, glaring at you desirefully. He doesn’t wait to shove his face against yours, prying your jaws open and exploring the inside of your mouth with his tongue. It spiraled around your own and you struggled to keep up with his motions. Nonetheless, you were profoundly enjoying this, shutting your eyes and holding onto Spamton tighter. His drool was pooling and escaping through the corners of your mouth, falling onto your shirt. When Spamton pulls away, you frantically pant for air and wipe your lips with the back of your hand. He looks down at you with a proud expression. His hand traveled down your neck until it reached your shoulder.Spamton leans his torso forward and pins you to the frigid, hard floor of the basement below. He didn’t bother to restrain your arms above your head, under the assumption that you’d be good for him. Considering that you worked under someone who always told you exactly what you needed to do each day of your life, it wasn’t part of your nature to disobey or retaliate.Spamton’s clawed hands drifted down both sides of your body until he they reached your hips. He proceeded to grab onto and drag your pants down your legs until the hem was just below your knees. You were just about to sit up and command Spamton to stop what he’s doing until he lifted your thighs just above the ground and lovingly stared at you. Thank the heavens that he wasn’t just about to try and remove your underwear, too…Before you knew it, Spamton was lapping at the inside of your thigh, his tongue tracing a variety of shapes on your skin and leaving a trail of warm saliva behind. He eventually offered some of his affection to your other thigh, planting little kisses all around while he kept your legs spread open. You swallowed at the feeling of Spamton’s slick tongue tasting your legs, looking away bashfully. His sensual gaze locked onto you as he coaxed the muscles in the lower half of your body into relaxing. The clouds of steam escaping from Spamton’s mouth met your thighs and made you tremble under him. No longer were you concerned with how your skin prickled in the cold air when you had Spamton to keep you comfy. You inhaled deeply and then exhaled, your breath materializing in front of your face before quickly dissipating. Spamton lifted his mouth off your legs and peered at you with intent.“MY [Darling]... MY GOOD LITTLE [Angel]...”He crawls right on top of you and then lies down on the ground to your side, instantly gathering you back into his embrace. Spamton turns you around so that he’s spooning you, wrapping both of his legs around your own protectively. He murmurs, “I… I N-NEED YOU FOR THE REST OF MY [Rapidly-Shrinking] LIFE...”Tears well up in the corners of Spamton’s eyes as he rests his head on top of yours. His large wings fold inward and around the both of you like a blanket. Spamton’s wings weren’t covered in feathers or anything of the sort. Instead, it's the same fluff that covered certain portions of his body. He put one of his hands on your cheeks and smoothed over it using the pad of his thumb, the other clutching you by your waist with his arm across your belly. In the midst of the silence of the basement, you could hear Spamton giving off a robotic purr as he cuddled you like a child holding a beloved plush toy. The velvety fluff on his torso warmed up your spine, the heat spreading throughout your nerves and instilling a sense of coziness within you. You could probably stay here forever if you really wanted to. It was a hundred times more delightful than your job, anyways. How you were going to explain this situation to Queen hadn’t come across your mind until now. Would she even believe you if you told her that you spent almost your entire time in the basement canoodling with the salesman that was once lucky enough to have his own room in her mansion instead of leaving and reporting your findings like you were supposed to?You brushed the thought aside, for it didn’t matter now. What you had chosen to do was, in your opinion, the best choice you could’ve made.
