Sun had felt... weird? For the past few weeks. He had just gotten a new body and he could eat and drink! That should have been a good thing but he didn't feel like it was
He got random cravings and urges for something but he didn't know what it was he wanted. Another thing was that his family smelt bitter to him, not in the normal oil smells bad sometimes way, but more as in they just smelt bitter? He couldn't explain it, they just smelt bitter to him, well expect Solar and Eclipse, they smelled sweet but Sun would never admit it, plus Eclipse isn't even part of the family. He's just friends with Earth and getting on better terms with a few people
It was the day of a family outing and everything was going just fine, everyone ordered their food and were chatting away about how peaceful things have been as of late with bloodmoon gone and Eclipse no longer being hostile, or well, as hostile towards them
Sun was sat in between Eclipse and Moon, acting as a barrier between the two since Moon still didn't trust nor like Eclipse. Sun didn't really like him that much either but at least he wouldn't try to murder him immediately
Sun sat through Eclipse making jabs at him and Moon get annoyed at Eclipse for it for about the whole time waiting for their orders which was starting to piss him off
He was hungry and all in all wanting to just go home and not deal with this anymore but he was here for his family so he chose to ignore the jabs since Earth had wanted to bring Eclipse along with them
Sun hadn't realized he was zoned out till he heard the sound of someone snapping their fingers accompanied with a sweet scent which he recognized as Eclipse
Sun flinched back a bit from Eclipse's hand which was snapping right in front of his face
"Finally, God you take forever to respond"
He heard Eclipse angry mutter. The food must of been brought out while he wasn't paying attention since everyone was either digging in or still chatting
Sun looked at his own food. He had just gotten a ceaser salad which looked soggy and gross. He had wanted to get a steak but he decided against it for some reason which he was hating himself for now as he took a bite of this mess of a salad
He felt like he was going to be sick with each bite he took but he shook it off, not wanting to worry anyone
He glanced over at Eclipse, who was currently ripping into the bloody steak he had order, blood running down his face as he didn't even try to have some table manners. Sun started feeling off as a sweet scent came off of Eclipse again combined with the scent of blood from the steak
He forced his eyes down to his own sad excuse of a meal and felt sick all over again. He stood, excusing himself to the bathroom as he left. No one questioned it as they all just ate or chatted
Sun was so glad Moon had rented this place out since he wasn't up to getting weird glances from people right now as he went into the bathroom
He had noticed the slight poking into his bottom lip on the way there so he rushed over to the mirror, just expecting something like a piece of food when he opened his mouth to check
He froze, as the reflection staring back had sharp front teeth, fangs
He brought a hand up slowly and pushed a finger onto one, they were real as it pricked his finger but he didn't immediately pull his hand back, too shocked to care about the pain
He stood there for a moment longer, shocked and confused
How does he have fangs? He didn't have them before. What caused this? Is this why he had cravings? No, that's stupid, but it's the only good explanation for this...
He shook his head, trying to cool his mind down as he pulled his hand away
He slightly licked at the fang that had a bit of oil on it now which almost immediately he screwed up his face, the oil tasting unusually bitter
Sun knew he needed to go back out soon as to not worry anyone but how could he hide these fangs? It was uncomfortable to hide them in his mouth since they just didn't fit well, he couldn't have them poking out on his bottom lip though so he was just going to have to be uncomfortable for another bit till he could leave
He walked back out and sat down in his seat again, no one seemed to care about his absences too much so he was in the clear for now
He looked down at the salad he had, which was even more soggy then before. Yep, no way he's eating that anymore
He just sat there uncomfortable for the next hour, listening to everyone chat and joke around until finally it was time to go. He said a little bye and see you later to everyone before getting up and walking towards the door, only to be accompanied by Eclipse, of course he had to follow him today out of all days
"What's the rush Sunny? Afraid we'll bite?"
Eclipse teased, God how much he just wanted to bite down into that pretty little neck of his and- wait! What was he thinking?!?! Bad Sun bad!
"-So, Moon probably will kill me if I ask him so that's why I'm asking you to drive me home"
Sun heard Eclipse speaking. he must of been talking to whole time he was zoned out, why does he have to love talking so much?
"You are such an annoyance I hope you know"
Sun mumbled out, trying his best to keep his fangs hidden which he had realized were sharper then before
Sun drove Eclipse back to the pizzaplex, Moon had disabled Sun teleporter awhile ago so he forcefully had to drive anyways. The trip back had gone ok, nothing too bad, just Eclipse making some rude comments and back handed compliments which Sun ignored.
The thing that had bother Sun the most was this hunger he was feeling, the closeness to such a sweet smell driving him insane at this point, all that divided the two was an armrest, which could easily be climbed over, and Sun's self restraint which he was sure if It could have lasted any longer then it did
Sun had rushed off to his room the second he dropped Eclipse off into the daycare, where he mainly slept in one of the small towers since the daycare was closed for awhile while they fixed it up a bit
He curled up in bed, feeling like his whole body itself hated him as he drifted into sleep mode, he would just sleep this off! Everything will be just fine tomorrow!
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
Oh how wrong he was. It had been a few months since the beginning of this and it was a living hell for him
Every time his hunger came back it kept coming back worse and worse to the point where he had to hide in his room for up to a week on end
He couldn't eat any ingredients during these times as food made him sick to the point of throwing up
Today happened to be one of the worst days from him so he was currently hiding in his room, curled into a ball on his bed out of hunger and pain
He suddenly heard a knock on the door and a sweet scent slowly drifted into his room, shit, it's Eclipse
"C-come in!"
Sun yelled as he sat up, trying his best to act and look normal all the while hiding his fangs and hunger
"What the fucks wrong with you?"
Eclipse's tone was harsh with an almost slightly caring under tone but that could just be the hunger getting to him along side the sweet scent that can off of Eclipse
"I d-don't know what you mean! Nothings wrong!"
Sun tried and failed to reason with him. Eclipse was looking at him like he saw a ghost for a second. Sun froze, realizing that there was a slight poking into his bottom lip again, His fangs!
"Why the fuck do you have fangs?!"
Sun flinched back a bit at the shock in Eclipse's voice, he was doomed
After awhile of shocked and confused questions from Eclipse and calming things down Eclipse now sat on the bed next to Sun, still keeping good distance from him, as he spook
"So basically you're tell me that you started getting these cravings that you have no idea where they came from?"
"Yep"
Sun tries to keep as much space between himself and Eclipse as he could since the sweet scent coming from Eclipse was getting a bit much for him as his stomach twisted in pain from hunger the longer he was there
"Huh, you really are fucked up aren't you?"
Sun just frowned at the joke, not giving him a response as he turned his head away
Suddenly the sweet scent grew thicker which caused Sun to turn his head back to Eclipse, noticing the fact Eclipse had cut his lower left arm a bit, oil slowly leaking from it
"W-WHAT ARE YOU DOING-"
Sun yelled, which got cut off by Eclipse
"Testing something."
Sun watched Eclipse smirk as he raised his bleeding arm up to him, He froze, Eclipse was testing him! Fuck
Sun watched hungrily as Eclipse rised the bleeding arm up, it took all his self restraint not to immediately bite into it as Eclipse held it in front of him
He shifted backwards which was only met with Eclipse moving closer with that stupid smirk on his face, oh how much he wanted to wipe it straight off
"What? Not wanted it?"
Eclipse teased, Sun hated how he definitely knew he did, he hate himself for wanting it way more then he hated Eclipse though
Sun felt the saliva in his mouth grow more and more at the scent of Eclipse's blood being right in front of him, within reach
Before Sun knew what he was doing he bit down into Eclipse's arm, being overcome by hunger. He felt the arm tense but Eclipse didn't pull away or push him off which he grateful took the chance to drink. Eclipse blood somehow tasted way better then the sweet scent that came from it, which only clouded over his decision making even more.
Finally, once Sun had enough to clear his mind again he pulled back almost instantly, oil still running down his mouth as he started to panic speak, rushing his words out
"O-OH MY GOD! I'M S-SO SORRY! I-I DIDN'T-"
"sun,"
"-I-I CAN H-HELP! I-I'LL- I'LL-"
"Sun,"
"-I-I CAN GET B-BANDAGES T-TO STOP TO B-BLEEDING!-"
"SUN"
Sun snapped out of it at the sound of Eclipse yelling, he looked at him nervously as his rays went in a bit, scared and upset at himself
"Sun, i could tell you need that and to be honest, I really don't care about it. You were hungry and if you think I'm about to be that cruel and leave you to starve then you're fucking insane"
Sun stared in mild shock. He felt so guilty about giving into hunger and biting into Eclipse's arm like some kind of animal
"Oh stop with that stupid look"
Sun shook his head, glancing away from him. He heard Eclipse sigh as he was forced to look at him again
"So, are you still hungry?"
Sun paused for a moment, he was still hungry since he hasn't eaten anything for a few months but he was feeling really bad
"M-mhm"
He watched Eclipse put his still bleeding arm up to him again
"Drink."
"But-"
"No buts, drink."
Sun leaned down in defeat and softly bite down again, not having to bite down much due to the original bite in his arm
He tried his best not to suck too much oil from Eclipse no matter how good it tasted since animatronics had to have a good amount of oil in them to operate smoothly
Sun pulled away, this time because he was done unlike last time which was more out of panic then anything
"I-i'll go get a bandage f-for that till you can fix it up!"
He heard Eclipse sigh before speaking
"If that calms your damn nerves down than fine"
Sun quickly got up and grabbed some bandages from a stash he had hidden away in his room, ignoring the look of confusion on Eclipse's face he bandaged his arm up tightly to try and stop the bleeding which kinda worked
Sun was feeling much better now as his fangs were gone and most importantly, the hunger pains were gone too
"Ignoring the fact you have a stash of bandages in your room, i guess I'll look into whatever the fuck did this to you but in the meantime you need a stable supply to keep you from starving to death"
Sun tensed for a moment, knowing the meaning of a 'stable supply'. He would apologize again if it weren't for Eclipse harsh glare towards him whenever he got that look on his face
"If i were to take a guess I think it would be you like animatronic blood?"
Sun paused and shook his head no, he didn't like the scent that came from most animatronics, only the one from Eclipse models which by now he's accepted that fact
He looked at Eclipse, noticing the puzzled look on his face as he looked at his arm and back at Sun a few times. Sun shifted, hoping he wouldn't have to explain to reason he willingly drank from Eclipse's arm
"I-its um- complicated"
He heard a sigh from Eclipse
"You know what, I don't care. just, if you're ever hungry come get me."
Sun fidgeted with his wrist ribbons
"B-but you don't h-have to d-do that for me-"
"I know what that type of hunger and what it's like, it ain't fun, especially when you leave it alone for months on end so if you think I would let that happen to you I will punch you myself"
Eclipse stood up, leaving Sun's room as he slams the door, leaving Sun siting on his bed
Sun stared at his door for a few more moments. he didn't feel that constant hungry feeling he had grown accustomed to the past few months. He felt happy to not have to deal with that right now but he was still scared and feeling guilty, why had Eclipse done that? Eclipse did explain but still..
Sun pushed off his bed, deciding to make the most of this time without hunger for however long it lasts, opening his door and leaving to go hang out with his family and maybe ask Eclipse some more questions
He walked into the daycare to Moon telling some shitty joke to Solar and Earth, Lunar must be sleeping Sun though ideally as he sat down on the security desk next to Moon
"Hey bro, you just missed my awesome joke"
Moon spook playfully, Sun just chuckled and brushed it off
