Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob SquarePants
At the Krusty Krab

SpongeBob was working alongside his husband of 3 years, Squidward J. Q. Tentacles, who was reading his magazine of art as he would also do but ever since a certain loud and hopeful sponge came into his life, he felt more alive and easier going. Hell, he even smiled at the customers and a general and sincere one. Hope that a little yellow sponge changed his life. SpongeBob was in the kitchen cooking on the grill making Krabby Patties as usual but something about today just seemed off like when he knew that if he and Patrick went to Goofy Goober Backstage Party Boat, they were going to go out all night, drunk out of their minds. Good thing, Squidward knew the guy that was serving them sundaes cause they weren't able to make it home based on their number of sundaes they had eaten that night.SpongeBob sighed and giggled to himself while remembering that fine night with Patrick. He was glad when he woke the day off that Squid didn’t give him another one of his protective lectures again. He stared at the grease popping from the grill while the patty started to change from a frozen pink to vibrate pink, he knew that color from anywhere that the patties were cooking like normal.
Despite everything SpongeBob was lost in his thoughts, he couldn’t shake off this uncomfortable feeling. He knew in his gut that something really bad was going to happen but he just couldn’t put his finger on it. He lost focus on the patty while it blurred from his view and he departed in his colorful but dawned mind. ‘What does this feeling mean? Am I having a panic attack’ SpongeBob thought to himself, not even focusing on the cooked now burnt patty. Squidward smelled the burnt and rushed in the kitchen quickly to see his husband just standing there while the patties were burning to a crisp. He looked at the still and mumbling sponge that had jumped after he realized what had happened. The squid shook his husband in concern. “SpongeBob, hey are you okay?” Squidward asked while pulling out the fire extinguisher.
SpongeBob felt guilty once he had seen his husband’s worried face. Squidward looked at him worried and saw a worried look in his own eyes. “Something troubling you, Spongey? You usually don’t burn patties like this?” Squidward said in his grumpy but worried way. “Oh Squid, I feel like something is off around here. Like my gut is telling me to figure it out but I don’t know where to look or anything.” SpongeBob got a bit emotional. Squidward listened and sighed and pulled the emotional sponge into a hug. “SpongeBob, no need to worry, everything here is okay. You got me and your friends as well. No need to worry, sponge okay. Now repeat after me. Everything is okay.” Squid said to SpongeBob who was still shaking off the feeling inside of him. “Everything is okay.” SpongeBob said and then he said it again with more hopefulness and he was back to old self and he smiled. He thanked Squidward and that made the squid’s day while he went back to the cash register.
Later that evening…
While the sun went for its evening sleep and the moon rinsed from its long sleep, the waves of Bikini Bottom grow calm and swallow. The squid and the sponge made their way home after a long day at the Krusty Krab. The night’s shadows twisted unnaturally, shifting in ways they shouldn’t, while the town lay silent in sleep. Tomorrow would come as always—but something was already wrong.
In a lair
Vlad stands in the dimly lit, high-tech command center of his hidden lair, which seems to pulse with a faint green glow, illuminated by the strange machines that fill the space. It’s quiet, deep within the heart of a forgotten mountain range or maybe beneath a city, adding to the sense of isolation. Like you would see in a bourche. Through a massive monitor, he watches the heroes on the screen from his computer, studying their movements like they were his test subjects in his crazy experiment. A cold, satisfied smile tugs at his lips. His eyes, glowing with an unnatural light, flicker as he observes them, one by one, on the monitor.
Vlad’s hands move gracefully over the control panel, his ghostly powers activating a complex mechanism—machines whirring to life as they drain energy from a nearby power source. With a wave of his hand, he manipulates the energy siphons. The hum of the machinery fills the room, adding a foreboding atmosphere. As he stands back and watches, his thoughts race ahead, envisioning the power that will soon be his. His laughter echoes softly in the lair, a low, eerie sound that seems to echo through the walls, almost as if the very structure of the lair was a dim lighted crave in the outskirts of the city.
Vlad is perfectly calm, but there's an unsettling smirk that never quite fades from his face. His amusement is evident, yet it's not the chuckle of someone who enjoys their success— but it's the kind of smirk you wear when you know something the others don’t, when everything is going according to plan. Like he was playing a game of chess with a bunch of idiots, that underestimated him. There's an almost mocking undertone in the way he looks down at the heroes, as though they are mere pawns in a game he's already won. His laugh isn’t one of joy, but of inevitability, as if he’s simply waiting for them to fall into his trap.
The first step of his plan is a subtle yet crucial one—Vlad is sucking the energy from multiple sources:
city power grids,
satellite stations,
and even some of the heroes' own energy fields.
His machine hums, drawing power like a ravenous beast hungry for his next meal of the day. It’s not enough to completely drain the city, but just enough to create a disturbance—small blackouts in certain areas, signals scrambled, systems destabilized. This initial energy theft goes unnoticed at first, a minor whisper of a threat, but the effects that pulls outward. As he watches the heroes scramble to restore order, he’s already setting his sights on the next phase. His plan is only just beginning, and it will take only a few more calculated moves before everything falls into place.
Far from the unsuspecting world, Vlad Plasmius watched with quiet satisfaction, his eyes gleaming in the dim light. He exhaled, slow and deliberate, as if savoring the moment. “And just like that,” he chuckled, “it begins.”

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Retroville , Jimmy Neutron
Jimmy’s old family house
Jimmy stuck in his head, thinking. Hell that's what he has been doing these couple days since the event. He feels like he has been hit like a car and brought back to live to feel it all over again. He heard the endless messages of Carl apologizing when he was done. Jimmy could care less about his ass or her. He had more important things to worry about.Chemical experiments.Testing his latest invention.Nothing,NOTHING, but HER .His eyes were a beautiful color before if someone like his friends would have seen but now. Now, they weredull, dark, and empty.Pure emptiness. He went upstairs to the bed they once shared now it was collecting dust. He can’t bring himself to go in that room without wanting to break it into multiple and then try to glue the damage that was already done. Like trying to unmelt a marshmallow in a fire pit. He grabbed a dusted necklace that he gave her before it went to hell and his eyes became more dim, lifeless, and dark. He heard a knock at his front door, and he opened it.Shen was at the door. Jimmy didn’t even bother talking and just walked away from the door heading back to the basement where his laboratory is. He grabbed a beer from the fridge and sat down in his chair like Shen wasn’t even there at the moment and did what he was always doing apparently.  Work. He grabbed his blueprint and started getting to work. Like the incident didn’t occured and he was back in work mode. Shen was definitely concerned and worried about his friend, because the Jimmy he knew didn’t like the taste or even smell of alcohol. He looked around the lab and saw a bed that messed up. Shen’s concern for his friend grew.

“Hey Jim, how long have you been like this?”  Jimmy didn't answer. He zoned out and loved it. Despite him being tipsy from the beer, he still was working. Trying to get back to the old days where he was happy when he came up with a new invention and he wanted to show the world about it. One thing he learned is that he doesn’t need anyone but his work.  Science made sense but, people   People didn’t make sense.  Shen looks at his friend and sighs. He walks up to Goddrad.

“Take care of him for me boy. Okay?”

“Bark.” Shen sighs, gives Goddard a pet on the top of head and looks at Jimmy for the last time before going upstairs and leaving out the front door.  A couple of hours later, the moon glanced out the small window in the basement. Jimmy started to get sleepy but he wanted to keep working and not think or dream anymore. He wanted his mind to be only clouded by nothing but ideas about new things that he wanted to create. But he could be the enviable and with that he was snoring while Goddrad put a blanket over him gently.

Jimmy just came home from work early and the moon was glancing on Jimmy’s family home that he now owns, while his parents were now retired in a nursing home. He was happy and excited to find his girlfriend, Cindy Vortex, his highschool sweetheart.    “Babe. Babe, Are you asleep?” It was dark inside the house and silence fed the whole house instead Cindy’s footsteps echoed the house while she ran down the stairs. Her blonde was messy. She was rushing down the stairs fixing her robe. Cindy was surprised that Jimmy was home for his busy schedule today.

‘Shit what should I say to him?’ She thought to herself while trying to keep her composure.   “Oh, when did you get home early? I thought you were in the lab.”She asked him. He smiled a bit while seeming that he was planning something. He hangs his lab coat on the hanger next to the umbrella holder. His mind was already racing, gears turning with the next phase of his plan. With deliberate ease, he shrugged off his lab coat, running his fingers over the fabric before neatly hanging it on the hook beside the umbrella stand and he looked back at Cindy, while embracing her presence.  “Yeah, I know and I’m sorry that I am always at the lab or studying but trust me that’s finally going to change now baby. Now get ready cause I have a surprise for you starting with— He suddenly pulls out flowers towards Cindy, the one’s she always loved as a kid. She was shocked, and tried to hide the fact that she was doubting all of this in her head. -theses.” While Cindy is smelling the flowers that Jimmy gave her. The sound of footsteps echoes slightly from upstairs. Both are looking up at the stairs. Jimmy is confused a bit. “Oh, is someone upstairs? Someone is up there?” Cindy’s face changes like volando erupting from the deepest part of the earth. She turns from jealousy and surprise to scare. Her heart started to beat out of her chest. While Jimmy is still smiling and asking questions still. She was still holding the flowers that he had given her a couple of minutes ago. She stays speechless like a church mouse on Sunday morning. Jimmy notices something. Cindy wasn’t wearing the necklace that he had given her for our anniversary. She noticed that she wasn’t wearing the necklace as she touched her neck and then laughed a bit.  “Oh I was getting ready to take a shower.”  Jimmy came towards with a smirk across his face and hugged her waist. He kissed her forehead . Cindy was thinking to herself about  all the times that Jimmy postponed things because of his experiments, inventions, even school didn't have time for her anymore, and it’s like his brain was switched with someone else.

“Well get ready my love I have a beautiful and great night planned for us tonight. I just need to get my wallet.”

He gently moved past her and moved up the stairs and he headed to their shared room that Jimmy’s parents used to share before they went to live a more comfortable life in a retirement home. His mind was racing with excitement to see Cindy’s face lit up with happiness when he saw that he is going to propose to her tonight after the date and fancy dinner at her favorite place. Cindy minds alot to him and he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, even saw himself having children with her. But only if she was ready for that commitment. It was her body after all.  He opened the door, and saw that Carl was in their bed.  Naked.  He suddenly froze where he was while gripping on the door knob tightly. He was just shocked. He was like what the fuck. He was just in a frozen state, and didn't see anything. His eyes darkened, his face scrunched up from thinking but also anger. Jimmy was just at the doorway, still holding the doorknob, lost in his thoughts, not even breaking a tear, not even crying. He was so pissed that you could literally see steam coming from his ears and his nose like a bull that's all red. He was silently cursing at himself. Cindy thought she was going to that date but now they weren't going anywhere. Jimmy wanted answers.  And now too.  Cindy watched as Jimmy and Carl exchanged a glance—one heavy with unspoken tension, guilt, and something else she couldn’t quite place. And just like that, the illusion was a shattered mirror glass. Her heart, once tangled in bittersweet affection, now burned with raw jealousy and fury. Any trace of softness or regret vanished in an instant. She scoffed, eyes narrowing as she turned to Jimmy, her voice sharp enough to cut through steel. "You brought this on yourself."The words dripped with venom, but beneath them lay a deep, opened wound that was rubbed in a pool of salt—one neither of them had the courage to acknowledge before. He continued to tightly grab that knob on the door. As the fire grew in his eyes while hearing her voice. The voice he once loved but he hated it with every bone in his body. Jimmy barely had time to process the weight of betrayal before Cindy let it all spill out. Her voice rose, thick with frustration and anger, a storm that had been brewing for far too long."You act like I'm the villain here, but did you ever stop to think about why this happened?!" she spat. "You were always in your lab, always chasing perfection—always too busy to notice me!" She wasn’t holding back anymore. "You shut me out, Jimmy! And now you want to be surprised that someone else was willing to give me attention?" Her words stung, but Jimmy couldn’t deny the truth behind them. Their relationship had been crumbling for a long time—cracks formed from late nights in the lab, from unsaid words, from two people who never truly understood how to balance love and ambition. But as much as Cindy tried to paint herself as the victim, they both knew the truth. This wasn’t just on him.
This wasn’t just on her.
They had failed each other. And now, there was nothing left but ashes. He's not even talking to Carl. He even looks at Carl's direction. So he was just in his thoughts.
What the fuck?

How can I be so blind?

Was she always doing it on the side when he was arguing and her downfalls?

Was she always doing this?
Then he started contemplating himself.   Oh, was she always doing this while I was working for us despite me always being like she was always doing this where I had to like study for a test and work.   Like he really went deep. He was really hurt because he loved her despite everything, he loved her. He's just lacking. He just likes showing affection. So Jimmy just at the doorway listens to her. He's just holding the door head down so you can see his face darken from the light. The flame in his eyes grew while the moon glistened from the window.  Carl comes out of the bed, Carl just doesn't even say anything to him. Carl was so sad. Carl felt so bad. He just hurt his best friend in the world since middle school. He grabbed his glasses from the nightstand and put them on. “I don't want to do this. She asked me to do it Please Jimmy believe me-”  Carl was interpreted by Jimmy. He looked up and looked at Carl with the deadliest glare, narrow darkened eyes, staring at him like bullets ready to let loose. Carl was scared by this and he stepped back from him. He collected all his things and left out the window. Jimmy walks in his room and he sits in the bed, head down, just depressed as hell. Despite having fire in his eyes, it was ready to burn and explode like fireworks; he didn't hit Carl. She just packed her stuff. She didn't look back. That was the last time he saw Cindy. The only thing he saw from that nightstand was her necklace that was on the floor, including their picture that they took in high school was facing down.

Jimmy woke up from a cold sweat from his nightmare that he keeps thinking maybe it would change what happened, but it doesn’t. He continued to work on his portal that he was working on for a while now. He flips the switch,

Nothing, just nothing. Jimmy let out a sharp exhale, his fingers tightening around the small screwdriver as frustration bubbled inside him.
Another failure.
Another dead end. His jaw clenched as he stared at the unfinished project in front of him—wires tangled, circuits refusing to cooperate, his so-called genius failing him once again. With a sudden burst of aggravation, he yanked the screw from the device and threw it onto the floor, the tiny piece of metal clinking against the cold tile before rolling out of sight.Pushing himself up from his chair, he ran a hand through his disheveled and unkempt hair, his mind buzzing with a thousand thoughts—all of them pointless, all of them useless. His pulse pounded in his ears as he stormed toward the staircase, his footsteps heavy against the floor.By the time he reached the kitchen, his patience was gone.He yanked the fridge door open, grabbing a cold beer without a second thought. The bottle cap popped off with an aggressive twist, and without hesitation, he took a long, slow gulp. The bitterness burned down his throat, but it wasn’t enough to drown out his thoughts. As he leaned against the counter, he slammed the fridge door shut behind him, the sound echoing through the empty kitchen. He sighed, rubbing his temples. The weight of failure clung to him like a second skin.Nothing was going right.
Not his project.

Not his mind.

Not his damn life.

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Hey I’m sorry for the longer wait for me updating this fanfiction. But don’t worry I’m still going to be working on this and publish the chapters after I write and type them. Also keep in mind that I’m new to writing and writing fanfics at that. I haven’t wrote a fanfic since I was in middle school. Plus I also I have AuDHD so some days is a dysfunctional day where I want to write but can’t write or when I can’t write at all cause of writers block. Now I’m a working process when it comes to writing since I haven’t done it in a while. So I’m new to this, I literally doing research as I work on this even thou it’s a dysfunctional day for me on that day I’m still working just in my own way. But yeah I just wanted to point that out. Also I have recently went back to the drawing board as well and changed some things so yes the prologue will be changed a bit. When I finished this book, I will polish it up and even give it a cool cover but I don’t know one step at a time.Sorry for rambling but yeah. Don’t worry chapters are still coming and I will finish this book so no I’m not dead 😂. Actually I enjoy writing this but it gets frustrating at times when I’m just the only one who working on this, I’m just trying to found my own way to write. It’s tough but I’m getting there and that’s why from here on out I want beta readers to read my fanfic as I progress. Add new ideas or recommendations for this scene or this character’s story growth and so forth and so forth and give me criticism so I don’t have to criticize myself cause it causes me to second guess myself when writing so if you want to beta read my fanfic please do and it will be greatly appreciated by everyone who loves this ship but loves this story I’m creating. But yeah I’m done here for today. Author out ❤️

----- CHAPTER BREAK -----

Everyone was starting at their windows and saw a huge tornado that spit out green hued lighting that shocked everyone to their care. They were terrified and everyone else was oblivious to the whole situation (the people in the town) they carried on the tasks they were completing at that moment of time like that task meant every second and in a couple of hours, they will all value every moment they have left in their timeline. In, Retroville, tornados were common but not this one, Jimmy was confused hell, including everyone else that didn’t have to deal with tornados before.
A couple of hours earlier…
Jimmy woke up this morning after emerging himself with beers and just worked on this portal after working on this portal. He went to go turn it on, but nothing happened. He thought that it would explode but not even that happened. He was upset. Not frustrated at the project of itself but frustrated of himself. He felt like a failure that ruins everything he touches. Like HER. Once, he started to think about Cindy he went to the stairs of the basement and got a cold fresh beer out of the fridge. His younger hated the smell of beers and now he is drowning his emotions or like he like to call them emotions sensors. After a couple of drinks from the beer can, he was numb again. All of his anger, and hatred of his ex but also for himself, he hated himself like he was a hated character from his old comic-book series that he and Shen used to talk about when they were in middle school. He came out of his zoning out and his hearing become from fussy to clear. He heard his robot dog Goddard, barking for him. He sighed and went back to his laboratory where he saw Goddard. At the portal, where it still nothing. But now he saw unfamiliar faces. An older gentleman possibly in his last 20s, with unkempt hair that was in a ponytail. He was wearing a checkered jacket and jeans with combat boots.
Possibly from the military man?
Jimmy thought to himself. A brown-skinned freckled guy with yellow curly and wavy hair wore a purple jacket that said goofy goober on it with a goofy-looking peanut on it with pair of brown shorts, and black shoes.
Damn looking at him makes me want to vomit so much right now. This motherfucker is too colorful for my liking. Uggh. My eyes.
Jimmy thought to himself while groaning miserably. He was already not a morning person, but he was a grumpy person when still sleepy. A robot with metal blue hair that styled to be a short style hair from the 80s.
I got to see what means that thing tic later
And the familiar fan-skinned guy with two unconscious unknown beings lying next to him. A browned hair individual with a pink shirt on, and pink shorts on.
Timmy?! What the hell is he here? And who are this people?
He thought to himself as he got his laser gun and pointed at the four now awakening bodies. The brown guy awakens with a yawn and then a full stretch. He opened his eyes fairly until he slows that Jimmy has a gun. “Oh, hi there mister. I'm SpongeBob SquarePants. Do you know where I am?” He said unfazed at his laser gun. Jimmy didn’t a single of his question. He was surprised but didn’t show it. He was the way supposed to questions about why they were here and not the other way around. “Okay not much of a talker.” SpongeBob said and he paused and saw that he was in laboratory that mean him think about his best friend Sandy Cheeks’ lab but this didn’t seem like the Treedome and then he started to think about Bikini Bottom and its beautiful waves.
Water…

OH MY GOD WATER I CAN’T BREATHE
“Mister where is the water? I can’t breathe. Water. I need it.” SpongeBob started to panic and started to run around in circles and then he noticed a mirror that showed his reflection. But it wasn’t his normal reflection. SpongeBob was confused. He had his normal clothes, but his body and face weren’t normal. “Mister you got to help me something is wrong with me.” SpongeBob started to tear up while being confused and scared. He started to breathe but was surprised that when his lungs had some air, he didn’t cough like he usually would do when he was in Bikini Bottom. He was didn’t passed out from the constant grasp of air he was taking in. Suddenly, the others started to wake up and they are rubbing their hurting foreheads until they noticed they wasn’t home. They started to talk to themselves, wondering where the hell they were at the moment. Jimmy continued to stand there with the laser gun unfazed at them at the moment. He wanted one thing.
Answers.
“Shut the fuck up?!” Jimmy said pissed as hell. The others looked at him and then his gun. The three individuals looked at him unfazed as well, while they got their own weapons ready. The 20s looking adult turned who ghost and his appearance changed quickly. he now had white hair, green eyes and a suit. He looked pissed too. “Where the fuck it is my wife?” His eyes glow in a green hue as he got more pissed. Timmy had smiled a chaotic smile and wished Cosmo and Wanda into guns and counted them ready and pointed them at the others ready for some action. Then, Jenny noticed guns and the look in their eyes that the humans were making and tried to calm down the situation. “Um, guys I think we need to put the gun away before the guns away before it gets bloody here.” She said with a nervous laugh. “Not until I fucking know who the fuck you people are and how the fuck you got in my laboratory.” Jimmy said yelling at this point. “He has a point, there.” She said with that, she introduced herself. “Hello, I’m Jenny the Robot. I was in college saving a group from a fire but after all of that I ended up there.” Jenny said “So, wait you’re a robot?!” SpongeBob asked with sparkles in his eyes. He was excited to see a talking robot in person before than Karen from back at home. “Yes. I’m a robot. And you are?” She asked giggling a bit. “I’m SpongeBob SquarePants. I’m a sponge and a fried cook. I make a krabby patties. But Jenny the same thing happened to me. I was spending think with Squidward watching. Something we both watching Kenny G and then poof I’m here.” SpongeBob explained to Jenny. Goddard shook his head at the sight of this and barked. Jenny’s face perked a bit until she noticed the dog barking. She got closer to the dog, and it barked again. He was trying to communicate with her. “Your dog is trying to show you something,” Jenny said This had Jimmy surprised and confused. Goddard’s torso opened and pulled out a mini-TV and it shared the camera film from earlier. It showed Jimmy’s portal not working so he goes up stairs and while he goes up stairs the portal turns on and shows the greenish hue and then that when the four unconscious buddies showed up and then Goddard turned back into a dog. “Wait so the portal worked, and these people came from the portal, so I invented in dimensional traveling.” Jimmy questioned himself and petted Goddard. Goddard barked and his wiggled his tall, inducing that he was correct.Jimmy got up and sighed hiding the fact he was exactly surprised and wanted to learn more, but he didn’t have his emotion sensors. He sighed silently and petted his dog again and looked at everyone. “So, that means you are not aliens that are out to get revenge from me uh?” Jimmy asked and in a monotone voice tone. Everyone looked around and then shook their heads.SpongeBob giggled a bit. “Sir, you thought we were aliens that going to invade you. That’s so silly. You are so funny.” He said laughing so hard that he landed on his back. Danny sighed frustratedly. He thought to himself whole he turned back into his normal form. He looked at his wedding ring and thought about Sam and their unborn baby that is being to enter their beautiful but crazy world. His chest tightens at the thought of messing up because of the job him, Tucker, and Sam kept at home, as a ghost hunter. He didn’t want to get his child into danger hell it was bad enough that his pregnant wife wanted to continue to work again after their discussion. He sighed to himself, and his thoughts came to a close when he saw SpongeBob and Cosmo looking at him worried. “Sir, are you okay? You were deep in your head. Are you okay?” SpongeBob asked Danny while tilted his head confused and worried wanted a response. Danny felt like needles was stabbing his chest, but he took a deep breath and nodded at SpongeBob. “It’s okay. I’m fine. I’m thinking about my wife and my family at home.” Danny explained. Timmy and Jimmy looked at Danny confused as hell. “What the hell? Who the fuck want to fucking marry a fucking ghost dude? Like that’s fucking freaky as hell.” Timmy said while being loud and common as usual. Danny gave Timmy a glare that giving him a warning to choose his next words carefully. Timmy noticed and rolled his eyes and quieted down while looking away trying to pretend to not be scared. “Well… since I did this next, I guess it is my responsible to let you guys live here until we find a way to get you guys back home into your respectable dimensions” Jimmy declared, and SpongeBob run and hugged him. Jimmy pulled a laser gun at SpongeBob and Danny pulled him from Jimmy, before he kills SpongeBob.
