The sunrise was peaking along the horizon of Nowhere, a kind elderly woman sat on her rocking chair on the porch, humming, as she tuned her Sitar, Courage by her, listening to Muriel play a few cords as she adjusts the instrument. From the clouds, children of the Starmaker came down, Muriel paused in her tuning, a gleeful smile followed, pointing at the young, swimming toward them.“Look Courage! Our dear friend's kids have visited. My, how wonderful!” Chirps Muriel, setting her Sitar on her chair, walks down the creaking wooden steps, opening her arms, as the squids hug her, some floating nearby a click and chirp at the elderly woman.Courage stretched, before heading over to them, babbling to the squids, who patted his head, and rubbed his chin, he giggled at the feeling happily.“Muriel, what in god's name are you doing, woman?! I'm starving and you're out here playing with floating critters and the dumb dog!” Complained Eustace stomping towards the group, grumbling unhappily.“Eustace, don't be so crude. We have guests. Now go inside, and take the lovelies with ya. Courage and I will whip up something. “ Suggests Muriel, pushing Eustace, ignoring his protests as he guides the young to the farm house.Muriel patted her apron, taking Courage's paw, they strolled toward the farmhouse kitchen entrance. Courage grabbed some fruit and lunch meat, as Muriel stirred the ground meat. Sprinkling in some seasoning, she continued her task, Courage made finger sandwiches and cut up strawberries, cantaloupe, Melon, peaches, and grapes.“Eustace, Children! We have food ready for ya!” Calls Muriel, setting the plates the wishmakers swished in, a very disgruntled Eustace entered, his frown lines growing heavier. The starmakers ate the fruit, ignoring the sandwiches, which Eustace ate without a second thought, only to get his hand smacked so Courage could grab a few for himself. A lone tentacle patted Courage's head, looking up as the Starmaker placed two of them on his plate.“Thank you” Courage dug in, humming in delight, as the lone tentacle stroked his head, their other arm feeding themselves some melon. After the snack break, Courage sat on the earthy ground, watching in awe as the squids made dancing stars appear before him, glittering shone bright. Courage clapped at the view, babbling praises. Muriel joined the group her own as shown above her sparkling down as it evaporates into sparkles. The sun set over the horizon, the Starmaker children made a bed of stars, curling into a massive pile, Courage was cradled in their many arms, letting them nap before they had to return. Muriel brought out her rocking chair and Sitar, playing a comfy tune, as the sky turned dark.
