"Your Highness, awaken!"
A loud and rushed voice forced you from your slumber, your heavy eyelids squeezing shut. The chest piece of your armor left on from yesterday dug into your back as you slept, causing pain as soon as you came to consciousness. You sat still for a moment, thoughts of the previous night immediately shoving their way into your brain space. It wasn't a special day by any means, you woke up late and trained. You weren't sure why you did that anymore, training.Your people weren't necessarily known for their strength, but more for their knowledge. Generations of your ancestors and people before you had made multiple medicine, science, technology, and educational breakthroughs known and recognized through your wide universe. That trend broke with you.You weren't stupid, your parents would have rather died than left you uneducated, putting the brain you were gifted to waste.Despite that, your knack was for strength. When both of your parents were present in the kingdom, any free time was spent studying and cramming you full of all the knowledge they could. They drilled it into your mind that even asking to be trained would've been foolish. Anybody could train oneself and become the strongest in the galaxy, but knowledge was gifted and grown. That was until your father fell ill.It wasn't sudden, his health had been declining for years beforehand, but it began to truly affect him almost 7 years ago.He offered himself up to the doctors in your kingdom for them to research his illness and its causes. While he did that, your mother and a small group of her assigned staff went off the planet to try and find knowledge about his condition elsewhere. It uprooted your life.If your life was cold and bland beforehand, it was worse with this change. Before your mother left, she left specific instructions to keep all of what was happening under wraps. The guard's best interpretation of that was cutting half of the staff that worked in the castle moving them to the army, and shutting any communications with the public.Life as you knew it was put on hiatus. This could drive somebody crazy, but you were never close with your family or staff. You didn't care for their company and saw its withdrawal as necessary. When you turned 16, your father continued to decline and your mother and her team were off every planetary radar, the staff decided to appoint you with kingdom decisions. They couldn't grant you the title of queen without both of your parents confirmed deceased, so they decided to hold a small ceremony to swear you into official royal duties without a title yet. You saw no need for much change, you simply hired a right-hand woman to advise you with the role and had a room built for the desire you'd had since you were small, training. And this is where it led you.It had been two years since then and life was boring. You got stronger every day and smarter every few months when something new happened in education, you rarely ate or walked around the cold castle halls anymore, and that was how you liked it.
"Your Highness..."
The voice spoke out again, reminding you of their presence with a small shake of your body, reminding you that you were now awake. You slowly opened your eyes and looked ahead of you, the blurry sight of your head maid, or right-hand woman, leaning over picking up stray clothes items, and making her way over to your windows to withdraw the curtains met you."Your majesty, I apologize for the yelling but you need to wake up. You've got to be down those stairs.."She paused, glancing down at the small watch wrapped around her wrist.
"Right now."
She finished, dropping the loose fabrics into a hamper and rushing over to your closet. She began to pick out your royal armor, a deep red body suit that covered your arms legs, and neck. The shade of red was specific to those sets of armor. One of your ancestors generations ago made the fabric for it. It was designed to withstand almost anything. Water, fire, ki blasts, minor wounds and abrasions, that kind of thing. It just so happened that the fabric turned out a rich shade of red that turned out to be the token color of your planet. On Top of it, she placed your clean white chest plate, boots, and gloves. They were only used for official royalty things, so the accents were gold instead of the same white leather all over."Amaryllis, why am I awake so early?"You questioned, sitting up and putting your legs over the edge of your bed, reaching out to your cold glass nightstand and feeling around for your glasses. Once you found and put them on, you blinked to get used to the newfound clearness in your vision. She paused at your question and squinted at you, her eyebrows furrowed. She sported baggy black work pants and chunky black work boots, a white button-up with your country's flag on its left arm completing her uniform. Her long thick black hair was gathered tightly into a low ponytail at the back of her head, every flyaway slicked down."Planet Vegeta's royals are coming down to speak with you today.."She murmured, a confused expression plastered on her pretty face."Have you forgotten, Your Majesty?"The name sounded familiar, you knew that, but you weren't sure what she was talking about."I spoke about this with you over a month ago, Y/N! Only the basics, yes but you should remember-""When?""Last month! I caught you after your training and I told you, you nodded along so I decided not to bother you with it any further!"After training just nodding along was a clear sign that you didn't comprehend what she said. For a member of the smartest race in the cosmos, how couldn't she see that? You breathed out slowly and stood."Must've slipped my mind."You murmured as she quickly went around picking up small messes in your room on her way out."See me at the bottom of the staircase before you go out there, You'll need to look your best. This is the strongest race in the cosmos, Your Majesty!"She loudly spoke with her back to you, heaps of laundry in her arms as she opened and closed your door with the tip of her boot.Once she was gone, you breathed out a breath you didn't know you were holding in her presence, turning around to meet the clothes she set out for you. You slid your dirty chest plate off and let it clammer down onto the floor, approaching the pile.﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌You got dressed quickly, the bodysuit smooth to the feel and easy to put on.You looked at yourself in one of the mirrors in your room.Your arms bulked out noticeably for a good reason. You trained every day for 3 years to achieve those arms. Your stomach was beginning to get toned, the fabric clinging to the developing muscles. You slid the chest plate over your head and put your feet in your boots, not caring to fully zip them up yet.Your hair was, what your old maid would describe it as, a rat's nest. It was tangled from your slumber and previous activities, but you figured not to mess with it, that was Amaryllis's specialty. You put on one glove and held the other in the same hand, rushing out of your door and stomping down the stairs.A crowd's loud commotion grew closer as you walked towards the entrance of the castle. It was a tradition for your culture to welcome any important visitors formally with your people watching. You spotted Amaryllis at the bottom of the staircase."Oh dear lord, Y/N."She breathed out disappointedly at your state, motioning for you to sit on the staircase. You did as you were told and plopped down, watching as she came behind you and began to brush through your hair. You took the time as she styled half of it up into a sleek half ponytail to zip up your boots and put on your other glove, adjusting your armor. She was as gentle as could be, knowing how and how not to deal with your hair after taking care of it for so long. She smoothed out any flyaway and grabbed your hand, pulling you up."I'll be right here as you welcome them in. When the guards send me, I'll go to the council room. I'll be in those places if you need anything."She spoke sweetly, patting your shoulder as she pushed you away, sending you off."Good luck, Your Highness."She concluded, leaving you to walk to the large grand entrance of your kingdom. You stood for a moment in front of the doors, collecting yourself and your thoughts before pushing the doors open and meeting a crowd larger than you could see in front of your castle.Their screams got louder as they noticed you.Further back was a grey ship, it didn't look as advanced as the ones that you were used to, but it looked like it'd do the job.The door pushed down and out walked four men with pitch black, strangely styled hair, guards fully suited up in armor similar to yours behind them with guns that looked more outdated than their ships.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
The four men walking in front of the guards were not in uniform rows, showing you that they were the Saiyan royalty from planet Vegeta. The symbol scattered around their attire set that in for you. There were two walking ahead of the others, obviously older than them. The older men resembled the younger men and you concluded they were most likely father and son.One of the older men had armor on, scuff marks and dents in it showing that he obviously wasn't the king, or even royalty at that. Maybe a right-hand person like you had. His hair was spiked and black. The other man had the symbol you kept seeing over his heart, red pointy shoulder pads, and a dark red cape, with similar spiky black hair. You figured that he was the king and the man next to him was some kind of assistant.Their sons resembled them heavily, they could've been twins. The boy with the similar hair to the assistant had on armour that looked like his fathers, but more scuffed up and dirtied. You couldn't hear, but you could tell he was enthusiastically speaking to the boy next to him, who caught your eye the most out of the three. His hair was almost identical to his father's. He had on armor that didn't look exactly like any of theirs. It was a dark blue color, not toned exactly to be navy blue but close. He had on a chest plate that looked kinda like yours. His boots were chunky and his gloves went over his armor. They were both white. He had a deep scowl etched into his surprisingly handsome face.Like, deathly handsome. His skin was smooth and pale and his eyes were darker than his pitch-black hair, his eyebrows furrowed near them. You caught yourself staring mostly at his lips. They were a light-toned pink, close to his skin color but pinker. They were thin and round, pulled into a line on his face. You were so busy observing (and admiring) the royalty in front of you that you didn't seem to notice that they were almost to the castle doors. You adjusted yourself and put your arms behind your back, standing tall as they stepped up the stairs. The crowd in front of you was louder than ever now. The man with the cape walked in front of everybody to step up the stairs and greet you first.Your gaze shifted over to him and you turned your body, preparing to shake his hand and meet the people he brought with him."Princess Y/N."He spoke, reaching out a gloved hand to yours. You rose yours and firmly shook his as the three people that fell behind stood around him."You must be King Vegeta. I've looked forward to your visit."He nodded in acknowledgement and stepped back, the the men around him bowing to you as he did."This is my head guard, Bardock. That's his son, Kakarot, and this is mine, Vegeta."He introduced them to you. Bardock, as he called him, bowed the furthest down, showing the most respect. King Vegeta's son bowed the least, merely bowing his head."It's a pleasure to meet you all."You said before turning and taking a step forward, addressing your people."My people. I appreciate you all for helping me continue our tradition with offworlders."You said, beaming brightly as they quieted down and shushed each other at you speaking."We have important matters to attend to, so please excuse us.''You said with a smile, waving to them as they erupted in noise and glancing over at the men as you stepped forward to open your kingdom's doors. The prince was staring right at you with an almost.. admiring gaze? His eyes darted down as you looked at him. The other boy was similarly looking at you but didn't look down as you met his gaze. He smiled and raised his hand to give you a quick wave. The other two older men were both looking at the floor.﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌You led them in, the quiet atmosphere of your castle was a change from the loudness outside.Your planet was always freezing, so walking in was slightly warmer than the outside but still chilly. You prepared for a quiet walk to the council room before the young man who waved at you earlier immediately spoke out."Boy is it cold out there! And no one had on winter gear, its li-""Kakarot."The man with the scuffed armor spoke, shooting him a glare and immediately shutting him up."It's quite alright. I've never heard any speaking above a whisper in my kingdom, it's a nice change."You softly spoke, all five of your footsteps tapping out loud as you looked back.He nodded in acknowledgment, looking down at the floor.Once you arrived at the council room you pushed open the door, smiling very softly as you saw Amaryllis. You walked to the end of the table in the chilly room, sitting in the chair as she pulled it out for you.The men filled themselves in, the king at the other end with his guard standing next to him. Both of the young men, however, sat in the middle, closer to you. Amaryllis came to your side, cupping a hand over her mouth and speaking into your ear."They have tails, your highness."She whispered, holding back a laugh as she spoke. Your eyes immediately darted to the only one standing up.A tail, was indeed, wrapped tightly around his waist. It looked like a belt of sorts, it completely slipped your gaze when you analyzed them. You cracked a small smile and shook your head, your hair swaying behind you as you sat up straight."King Vegeta."You spoke, gazing at him. He smiled."Your Highness, thank you for welcoming us so warmly. shall we speak about our reasoning for coming?"He asked, intently looking over to you. You nodded and leaned into the table, your ears perking up."I'm not going to try and sugarcoat or delay anything. Us and our race have been threatened with enslavement by a.. stronger, to say the least, army than ours."You keenly listened, your gaze turning more and more confused as he spoke. Yes, you were planetary neighbors, but you didn't know much more about them and were not aware of any alliances that your ancestors had formed with the people, so you weren't sure why he was coming to you for this issue he had."I'm aware of your.. family situation so I'm guessing you're unaware. It happened so long ago, I was just a boy. We sent a few of our techs and doctors over here to help you with some new research and as a result, you made a major breakthrough in technology. You took all of the credit with an I owe you kind of arrangement. We'll need that favor now."Your expression softened as he explained himself. But it immediately furrowed back down, Why would he need your army? You had less than 200 soldiers and wouldn't be much help."We need less army help, ours is just fine. Although, a few of your strongest members wouldn't hurt. We’re more here for your technology and brains."You hummed in response, the full picture of their motives clear now."How big do you presume this army will be? What kind of technology do you need and... How many people do you currently have within your army?"﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌After a smaller conversation with them, you both concluded on a plan. You, Amaryllis, and all of your techs, doctors, and scientists would be going over to their planet to stay for 3 months. You and their army would hold back the "Frieza force" for two months and 15 days, by then your techs should have weapons created and new technology for you all to use and defeat the army with to claim their freedom. The plan officially started a day later, and you immediately got to packing. You left the castle to the same guard your mother had when she left as you could only trust him with the kingdom. You didn't have any keepsakes or important items to bring with you to the foreign planet so you brought two training jumpsuits, one formal fighting jumpsuit, and your dirty armor and boots. You brought along a tank top and sleeping shorts with that. Your undergarments were shoved messily under all the clothes and you left with the royal armor you had on, totaling out to five different outfits for you to wear in your time there. Now, an hour after your conversation with the royals, you and Amaryllis were saying goodbye to the kingdom. It was more on her half, saying goodbye to her co-workers and everybody else that she knew. You didn't bother with much, you just went to observe your father. His condition was the same as always. He wasn't conscious or speaking, the beeps of a monitor next to him ringing out once a minute, his life constantly barely holding on. You coldly turned for the castle doors, figuring you'd wait in the ship until Amar was done.Your luggage wasn't anything special, so King Vegeta ordered his son to bring it into the ship with him.He always carried that irritated expression that he had earlier, and it only got worse when his father completely inconvenienced him with the massive task. You tried to smile and make any conversation with him, but you were shot a dirty look. The other boy, Kakarot, stayed quiet due to the watchful eye of his father but kept smiling and waving and making gestures at Vegeta, forcing you to withhold a giggle at his antics. You walked out of the castle, your boots tapping crisply as you stepped. The outside of your kingdom didn't have any landscape, your planet wasn't made for plants. It was constantly freezing, but you and your people had gotten used to it, it was the only feeling they knew. The sky was lilac, yellow peaking through at the top to signify your sun going down and your moon going up.You made your way across the long path down to where they left their ship. You stepped in, the ship obviously aged by how it creaked under your weight. Bardock told you you'd ride in the back with the boys, him, King Vegeta, a pilot, and a guard in the front. You figured to just look for the boys to discover where you were sitting. You wandered around for a while and could tell that the ship was outdated. Every piece of technology was decades behind yours. They let their royals ride in this thing? Eventually, you stumbled across the boys again, Kakarot sat directly across from Vegeta. Even in the way they sat, you could tell the personality differences. Kakarot lazily sat on the edge of the seat, his legs open and kicking his feet as he spoke enthusiastically at Vegeta about one thing or another. Vegeta, however, was sat back in his seat, his usual scowl on his face with his arms and legs crossed. You stepped down into the lowered area that they sat in, your head low with respect."Hey, princess N/Y!!"Kakarot excitedly spoke as he noticed you, mispronouncing your name horribly. Before you could gently correct him, Vegeta spoke up and looked at him with an angrier gaze than usual."It's Y/N you dope."His tone was as harsh as could be. For someone who was giving you nasty glares and whining over carrying a pound bag to the ship, he defended you quicker than you could. You were just about to mentally change your opinion on him before he spoke up again, his nasty look directed at you instead of Kakarot."I'm not defending you because I like you. I'm defending you because I hate him more than I hate you."You breathed out and walked to the side where Kakarot was sitting, deciding to plop yourself down there. Vegeta looked like he might've bit if you got too close. You and Kakarot spoke for a while while the ship was loading up, Vegeta opting to stay quiet. You learned a lot about the boy and enjoyed his presence. You found out they were both 19 just like you, and eventually as the conversation went on, he dropped a nickname that he'd prefer you call him over Kakarot- Goku.It sounded less harsh and professional, and you took to it immediately. You got lost in conversation and before you knew it, his father, Bardock, came to the entryway of your guys's seating area."Boys,- Oh, Your Highness."He spoke out, not noticing you at first and bowing his head."I don't care for the formalities, just call me Y/N. It makes me feel less holier than thou."You said, a warm, true smile on your lips, nothing of the sort being seen on you since your mother was in the kingdom. He breathed out and lost the tension in his shoulders."We were looking for you, I guess you found your way on your own. Are you three ready for takeoff?"Vegeta nodded and you and Goku followed, a small variation of yes murmuring out of all three of you at once."Good. Your maids leaving tomorrow, with the rest of the staff we need. I know it's not ideal, but your first night will be alone."Your smile dropped quickly. Amar was the only person you'd ever been close to, and while you didn't interact with her much, a night without her didn't make you feel too good about being on a foreign planet. She was supposed to come with you for that specific reason.Goku and his father seemed to notice your worried expression, Bardock speaking and Goku following right after."All of our army apologizes sincerely. We couldn't bring her with us today, so we arranged for her to come first thing tomorrow morning. We'll do our best to make you feel at home somewhere clearly not.""Yeah, Y/N! There are two empty rooms by me and Vegetas, you and Amarefilus.. can sleep near the only people you know! Dad, can they?""It's up to her. I've got to go help King Vegeta, behave while we're taking off."He said to all of you, mostly looking at Goku next to you as he pushed himself off the doorframe and walked off."I'm not sleeping next to your maid."Vegeta spoke as soon as Bardock left."Don't be so stuck up, Vegeta! She's royalty too, she's a royal maid."He shot back, defending Amaryllis.Vegeta followed and argued back and before you knew it, both of them were bickering about any and everything under the sun. Goku was more laid back as he spoke, almost baiting Vegeta's anger. You leaned back as you felt the ship move and creak, you assumed you were taking off and rested your eyes. Any rest you could get was good, you had a long month ahead of you.
----- CHAPTER BREAK -----
The flight to their planet was quick for space-time, only two and a half hours. You rested the whole way, the old ship flying surprisingly smoothly.Once you landed, the crew began to exit and Goku was pulled away from you and Vegeta to go help his dad. Vegeta was tasked with waking you up and hauling you off to the castle."Wake up, woman."The scruffy voice murmured, shoving you by the shoulder into the hard metal wall behind you. You were rudely awakened for the second time within a 24-hour timespan. You blinked awake, your glasses being left on while you slept resulting in a headache from the heavy frames on your eyes."The ship landed, let's go."He spoke again, causing you to look up at the man towering over in front of you. His icy glare pierced down at you as you adjusted yourself and pushed up your glasses."Woman, wake up!" He raised his voice at you, shaking you roughly."I'm awake, I'm awake, hold on!"You tiredly slurred out, putting your hand out to the steel armor on his abdomen and pushing him back by it. He stumbled back and looked down at you, the usual irritated look on his face now fueled by actual anger. He took a step forward and leaned down to your height, glaring right at you. "Don't you know I'm the prince of the mightiest warrior race in the galaxy?"He hissed out at you."Don't you know I don't care? I'm not like every peasant you can scare into submission. I'm a royal too and a strong one at that. Back up, Vegeta."You shot back, all of your confidence being used to speak like that right in his stupid handsome face. "I think in my time here I ought to teach you some manners. Do you think you're exempt from being polite just because you have a title everyone else doesn't? You're crazy."You concluded, standing to your feet and slowly stepping out of the small cabin. You could tell by the footsteps behind you that Vegeta was following out after. After navigating the ship for a moment, you and Vegeta saw the entrance and as you exited you looked up.The sky was beautiful, many more stars were visible here than on your planet. The landscape around the large kingdom behind you was even more beautiful. Small white plants and large pieces of greenery were scattered around the outside area, a grand large fountain trickling quietly was in the middle of it all, and you took it in for a second before being rudely interrupted again."Never seen a garden before?"Vegeta's voice came out from behind you, ruining your moment."You saw my kingdom. We don't have these here."he scoffed as he stepped beside you, looking out as well."What did you mean by 'A strong one at that'? I thought your knack was more for knowledge.""That's my race as a whole. I was never huge on wanting more smarts, so when I was put in charge of my kingdom I stopped learning so much and started training. I'm pretty strong."You said with a grin, raising an arm and flexing it. "Training? With whom?""Mostly by myself."You murmured, your voice contrasted from your last sentence while putting your arm down."Nobody has an interest in anything but knowledge there."He went quiet for a moment."You could train with me and Kakarot."He quietly offered. You could feel him looking over at you but you kept your gaze fixated on the beauty of the crisp white flowers in front of you."Really? I'd like that."You affirmed, your gaze traveling up to him as he cleared his throat and shook his head. "It's nothing. He gets boring sometimes. Don't take it seriously."You rolled your eyes and took a step forward, bending your knees and plucking a flower from the ground. "That's royal property, Y/N. I could have you arre-""What're they called?"You gently asked, raising the flower to him, their beauty having captivated you."Chrysanthemums.""Chrysanthemums. I like these."You chirped, carefully placing the flower you plucked into your pocket and standing up.Just like clockwork, Goku came rushing around the corner of the castle waving madly at you two. "Y/N! Vegeta!"He said excitedly, rushing over to you, being careful to not step on any of the plants.﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌Goku rushed you off to the vacant room you'd occupy during your time with the Saiyans. He enthused on and on about their planet and how much fun you'd have and how happy he was to have someone to talk to, and got even more excited when you told him that Vegeta said you could train with him. He went on and on at you the entire way there and jumped into your bed to 'break it in for you' while you unpacked. "You're gonna love trainin' with us, Y/N! Well, me at least. Vegeta's always so competitive, It's like he really wants to kill me! He's-"A sharp knock slammed on your door, causing Goku to jump up out of your bed and smooth out the messed up bedding. The door gently creaked open and Vegeta and a guard stood in the doorway."Out, Kakarot.""Wahhh?! Why, I was just in the middle of making a new frien-"Vegeta cocked a brow and stepped in, the guard staying behind, seemingly waiting for Goku. His shoulders slumped and he went to you, grabbing your shoulder and shaking you around, unaware of his strength as he did so and accidentally hurting you a little."I'll seeyah later, Y/N! I can't wait to train with you."He said grinning, ruffling your hair, and walking off with the guard. You waved and turned around, rubbing your arm and facing Vegeta with a confused expression as to why he interrupted you and Goku."You're coming with me, Y/N. I wanna see just how strong you are.""How?""We're gonna train."Your eyes lit up and you immediately dropped the clothing item you were holding."Really? hell yeah, okay okay,- Hold on I gotta change."You said, pushing and scattering all of your clothes around to find one of the training bodysuits you brought.".. Why?"You paused and looked over to him, he was still clad in his royal-looking wear. "Amaryllis would kill me If I trained in this.""Oh. Hurry up, I'll be outside."He grumpily spoke, walking out and shutting your door behind him.You shimmied your way out of the tight royal armor, carelessly discarding it on the floor and putting yourself into the bodysuit. It was black with shorts and short sleeves instead of the ones you'd usually wear that covered everything. It wasn't meant to be worn with a chestplate, so you didn't bother putting one on. You slid on your dirty boots and skipped to your door, opening it and grinning at the grumpy face in front of you.﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌You two had a rather boring walk to the training room, but the area in itself was nothing short of marvelous. It was large, by far bigger than the one you had back home. The walls were shiny and white, with tile on one of the walls and straight metal on the rest. The gravity was shifted just like yours, and other than the bright fluorescent lights and small dents around the place there wasn't much else to the room. You pulled out the neat hairstyle Amar had put into your hair beforehand and used the rubber band to tie your hair up. You never had a proper fight with someone, so you stood for a second to try and speak with him before.Vegeta took a different approach, immediately charging at you. He grabbed both of your hands and tried to throw you to the other side of the room. You planted your feet steadily on the ground, pushing back and grinning at the true fight. You abruptly let go and shifted yourself to the side, forcing all of the energy he was putting into moving you to be let out by him stumbling forward. You quickly grabbed the back of his chest plate and brought him back, throwing a punch in his direction. As it connected, he retracted and threw his head back, holding his nose."You're not half bad.."He huffed out, a small spill of gooey carmine liquid leaking out from the bottom of his nose.Your eyes widened and you rushed to his side, pulling his hand off of his face and apologizing profusely. "Shit, my fault, I've never fought anyone before, I'm sorry I didn't-"The words came out of you like vomit as you gently wiped some of the viscous liquid off his face. He stiffened up under your touch and shoved you back."Don't touch me woman."He hissed out, wiping his blood off his face and going straight back into the fight. You two went for almost three hours, both of you taking momentary breaks to collect yourself. You liked fighting a real person instead of a robot or punching bag and had to be told by a maid to stop fighting, as you two were rumbling the castle and Goku was jealous he couldn't participate.Vegeta accompanied you on your way back to your room, the areas being very close to each other. He kept silent so you took the time to reflect on the day. A single day spent with the Saiyans was more eventful than your entire year. In only 24 hours you left your planet and trained with a real being. A handsome one at that.Vegeta was nice to be around when that irritated look wasn't plaguing his elegant features and he wasn't speaking to you in a harsh mean tone. You found yourself attracted to him, in personality and his looks. You missed Amaryllis but reassured yourself with the fact that she'd be there come tomorrow. "Y/N."Vegeta cleared his throat to speak beside you, looking down at you."Sorry, Yeah? I was thinking."You responded, keeping your eyes ahead of you."Me and a few of my strongest guards are training early tomorrow. I want you to come.""A few? I thought it was just you and Goku?"He shook his head."No. Well, mostly no. It's me and him that train the most but others accompany us occasionally. While Kakarot was pestering you I asked all of my usual training personnel to come with us tomorrow morning so you can display your strength. I think if you perform as well as you did today I could convince my dad to let you fight the Frieza force with us. For experience and whatnot."You listened intently, your footsteps muffled by the carpet below you both."That sounds like it'd be fun. Who comes with?""You don't know them yet. I asked for Nappa, Bardock, and Raditz.""Bardock? Like Goku's dad? He seemed nice, is he strong?"You asked enthusiastically."Very. Raditz is his son too. They all are, I think they'd be impressed by your display of strength.""Oooh. Okay."You said with a smile as you felt Vegeta stop beside you. You hummed and looked over, noticing this was your stop. "Thank you for training with me, Prince Vegeta. I appreciate it, I look forward to tomorrow.""Whatever,"He murmured, tapping his foot as he waited for you to go into your room.I'm
